From the bunker below the White House president Keaton is informed of the latest development. Only one of the bombs is still at large. It is in the hands of two fanatics and in the same general area as the president. It is unlikely that they would be able to harm the president from the bunker. But potentially hundreds of innocent civilians could be killed when they detonate. Keaton is then informed of other developments.

Gardner: Dimitry Utkin was killed in a plane crash less than half an hour ago.
Keaton: Do we know if Suvarov was behind that?
Gardner: Too early to tell. But G'ulom was also assasinated in his office not long ago. We don't know if their co conspirators were preventing them from talking, or if Suvarov and Daoud are taking matters into their own hands.
Keaton: Since we have no reason to stay in Afghanistan and longer, the evacuation will be complete within the hour. Zelensky said he is willing to come to Camp David and negotiate with Suvarov. At least for now there will be a ceasefire.
Gardner: One sticking point will be the orphaned children. The United Nations is willing to help with that, return Ukranian orphans to families if possible, but some without living famiies might remain in Russia.
Keaton: We can negotiate that over time.

Jack Bauer and Tony Almeida bring reverand Adam back to CTU and begin questioning him. The doctors want to give Adam medical treatment, but Jack wants to use Adam's pain to make him more cooperative. Adam seemed certain of his mission from God, he would not easily betray that. Jack had only one real card to play, maybe he could reason with him father to father.

Jack: We know your daughter is still at large.
Adam: For now.
Jack: There's still a chance we can take her alive. She might actually get out of prison within five years, have some chance of a normal life one day. Don't you want that for your child?
Adam: "Normal." You mean being part of this corrupt? To let her be tempted into any number of sins, and damn herself to Hell for eternity? No, martyrdom is the only way to ensure her entrance into Heaven.
Jack: You're a real son of a bitch you know that?
Adam: So you say. I guess we have different parenting styles.

Eve and Georgia were the last terrorists at large, and they had to choose a target very quickly. They heard on the car radio about Adam being arrested by CTU. This gave Eve an idea.

Eve: We cannot allow my father to remain in the custody of the great Satan.
Georgia: What do you suggest, that we break him out?
Eve: No, I suggest we use these explosives to blow up CTU. Strike a blow against the enemy, and make sure that my father comes to Heaven with us.
Georgia: Now that's a plan. But if the cops are getting too close...
Eve: Then we blow ourselves up early and take them down with us.
Georgia: I'm in.

Barnes is making the final preperations for the last helicopters out of the embassy. There are still thousands of afghans trying to flee, only a handful might get out on those last helicopters. Still, with G'ulom dead, and Hekmetyar serious about peace, maybe Afghanistan will be better for those left behind. One can only hope.
