Joe was already prepared for his 'so-called date' with Mary. He had already prepared a month before, now 'the earlier the better' Joe thought as he changed into a dark costume. Black jeans, black vest and a black, denim jacket.
He had a peggie truck parked up behind the car repairs, Joe always thought ahead and wanted to destroy John's 'YES' sign with Mary, so he loaded two RPG-7's and a whole cart of ammo he also bought pillows and blankets so he and Mary can chill after they had obliterated John's sign. He combed up his messy curly hair and called Mary over.
"So where exactly did you want to go?" Mary asked
"TEE- HEE," Joe grinned "follow me and I'll show you"
He directed Mary to the truck, they both jumped in and set off. It didn't take long before they saw the huge 'YES' sign. They drove for a couple of hours before they reached the huge sign that towered over them in glory. They both hopped off the car and walked behind the sign and they saw some writing in one of the letters. It read out 'the father stinks' they both giggled before Joe explained what he wanted to do.
"So I've loaded two RPG'S at the back of the truck and some other random shite," Joe said rather proud of himself. "But first I wanna make a call to Ari I'll be back kay"
Joe ran off and hid behind some trees and called up Ari. Moments later he heard a crackle and then heard Ari.
"What do you want Joe," Ari grumbled
"You sound a bit pissed, dog" Joe teased
"Shut up, now what is it."
"Ah-ha, so you have John with you right, if you do make him look at his precious YES sign I have a small surprise for him."
"Are you going to destroy it or some shit? Without me"
"YES I am going to destroy it and piss off like I would blow up the sign with you, get out of here" Joe laughed "You have him though right?"
"YES, YES I'll be sure to make him look."
Joe went back truck to see Mary chilling against one of the doors.
"Are you ready kids?" Joe said to Mary but she just gave him a blank look. "You're meant to say aye-aye captain and then we sing the Spongebob Squarepants theme song,"
"So John is still alive, huh?" Mary grumbled.
"Wha- who told you tha-"
Mary interrupted "You do know that I was able to hear you right? This place is so quiet that you can hear the chirps of birds, and sometimes the engines of vehicles that pass by. So hearing you mumble out some words were easy to translate.
"Well shit, I guess I'm gonna get bashed huh?" Joe grinned "I know that if your gonna get in a relationship you have to be honest but, I promise you that this will be useful for the resistance. But if I tell you you're coming to Ari's cabin, but I'm pretty sure you told me you will never forgive someone who once was a peggie correct?"
"Yeah, I won't forgive anyone of them. They are dickheads, I think you already know the reason why I hate them."
"Yeah, but Rachel had nothing to do with it. It was all john's evil deeds, wasn't it? I won't know since I only came here like 3 months ago and this 'project' has been going for 7 years yeah? But forget that that's not why we're here you want to head off to Ari's cabin tomorrow morning?
"Yeah but only if you tell me why you three idiots let them live."
"I'll tell you later I promise and if I don't you can kick my balls 69 times," Joe said holding out his pinky "I pinky promise it," Joe smiled
"Fine" Mary said grabbing his finger
"Well, now that it's settled let's go blow that sign up I told Ari to make John stare at the sign. Get him a Lil' bit pissed off."
Ari and John both were sitting on Boomer and Peaches bed.
"John look up at your Yes sign there's something special going to happen" Ari handed John some binoculars John pressed it upon his face.
He stared at the sign waiting for something. Something special to happen, he sat there staring at it for 5 minutes before he saw someone fire a rocket at the sign. He saw a small rocket that lunged itself at the sign. John wanted to kill those who dared to attack his precious sign, within five minutes the sign was demolished. John was in no position to lay down threats but his anger took over.
"Whoever they were. I will be sure to find them and make them rebuild the sign piece by piece, and they will work to the bone." John screamed
"Idiot!" Jacob snapped "None of us can place any threats, nor will we expose any of the secrets about the project. If we do, we are well and truly weak"
John Grunted "Fuck, fine"
"Ooh fuck. Let's go Mary" Joe said fisting the air
"Wow, I hope John saw that. It's like I'm getting him back for all he did. Now I don't have to look at this shit show of a sign. Mary said exhausted.
"Well now that we're exhausted why don't we sit at the back of the truck huh?" Joe said
"Yeah, lets chill shall we."
The two jumped up at the back of the truck, it was a tight fit but somehow managed to sit down. Joe placed down the pillows to make things comfier but it made things so much tighter. In the end, they ditched the pillows. Mary laid on Joe's shoulders for comfort and a bit more space.
"You know last night, I looked up into the sky and matched each star to a reason why I love you. You see things were going great till' I ran out of stars. Joe mumbled confidently
"Why don't you say some then," Mary whispered
"Hmm, that's hard, like something else." Joe winked but Mary elbowed his ribs Joe winced upon impact. "OK, sorry, sorry. I'll give you some reasons kay." Mary slowly raised her head and stared at Joe. "Ah, we-ll. Ya see" Joe stammered "I like your eyes, I love all the stars in the sky, but they are nothing compared to the ones in your eyes."
Mary blushed at Joe's complement "You know what you don't nee-"
Joe interrupted "Life without the one I love is like a broken pencil- It's pointless." That one got her to giggle a bit. "If you held up 11 roses to a mirror, you'd be holding 12 of the most beautiful things in the world. OK fine I'll stop but just so you know I might have no more compliments left for you because there isn't enough in this world." Joe smiled
The two stared deeply into reach others eyes. Mary grew fond of Joe's amber eyes they glowed in the night. But Joe could say the same to her blue eyes they stared for a few more minutes before Mary felt tired and fell asleep on Joe's lap. Joe stared at her, she looked calm and innocent when she slept he couldn't help but smile. He kept on thinking about how lucky he is. But all the thinking got him all tuckered out and moments later he had pressed his head on Mary's and was taken over by exhaustion.
Mary woke up from some loud noises as she slowly overcame her sleepiness she realised that it was just Joe snoring his ass off. She smiled at the thought of his ass snoring. She closed her eyes and fell asleep once more.
Mary woke up in a different position than before. Her watery eyes took a while to adjust and then she realised that they were driving somewhere she turned her glare towards Joe who was staring back at her.
"So you're awake now, huh?" he said grinning. "Well, finally I have somebody to communicate with as we travel towards the Henbane..."
Dudes Note: YEAH SOOO. Haha, I haven't been adding anything to the story lately because I haven't felt inspired to write. And whenever I wanted to I had some bull crap to do. But it's fine since my mind has thought of some juicy stuff which I'm so hyped to write but, the sad thing is that it will take a while to get up to the good stuff. So I sincerely apologise for not posting but I'll try my best to post one or two chapters every two weeks. KAY Bye-Bye. Oh and probably next chapter we'll have more Bruce and Ari.
