"You did what?" Trini blurted out as Kim blushed red and motioned the bartender for another drink. She tried to meet up with Aisha and Trini a few times a month. Inevitably, there were moments when they both lived vicariously through her. And apparently this was one of them. "Kimberly."

"You didn't see her. Plus Tommy ended the demo with a tornado kick, you know how impressive that is as someone who does karate. It's exponentially more impressive when you've never done karate. Between that and well…him…she deserved it," Kim said as she took a gulp of her margarita and let out a sigh. "She maybe didn't deserve me telling her how exactly he is off limits and that I already have enough problems with a jealous ex. I don't need more issues with a flirty teacher."

"Tommy would have shut it down if she did anything, you know that," Aisha reasoned and Kim let out a groan. Not them too. Tommy had been fine with it, but a handful of the instructors at the dojo knew Ollie's teacher and thought her reaction was a bit harsh. "You don't know that?"

"It's not that. Well, it's not that exactly," Kim whispered as she turned around to face the crowd and leaned back against the bar. "Ollie wants to move in with Tommy."

"He doesn't want to live with you?" Trini asked as she exchanged a concerned look with Aisha. Surely Kim would be more upset about that than any woman flirting with Tommy.

"No. He wants both of us to move in with Tommy," Kim said as she rubbed her face and tried to figure out what was really holding her back. She had thought about it over the last few days and she still couldn't put her finger on why. "And Tommy would be fine with it too, I just…"

"Are they both giving you guilt trips?" Aisha asked and Kim shook her head. While Tommy would be happy to have them all under one roof, there was no pressure with him. Ollie was sniping about it every moment he could get now. "I mean…I'm surprised you haven't broken your lease and moved."

"Ish," Trini moaned as Aisha shrugged. Everything about this time around had shocked her when it came to Kim and Tommy- from how long they had waited to start dating to how long they were in separate houses. She though that things would have moved a lot faster with how much they had cared about each other in the past. "Not helping."

"It's fine. I asked both of you to call me out on my shit," Kim whispered as she just shook her head. "He's not…I haven't…I just want things to feel more solid."

"You were solid when everything fell apart last time," Aisha said and Trini grabbed her drink and pointed towards the glass of plain coke she had. "I'm just saying that waiting until you feel solid might not be the right thing to look for."

"Then what? I can't break my son's heart if something happens and Tommy and I…" Kim trailed off as it hit her. She was scared. She was scared of being this vulnerable with Tommy and was hiding behind caring for her son. "Oh crap."

"It's scary to fall in love. We all know that," Trini said as Kim looked between the two of them and just shook her head. "Especially for you and Tommy. I know you had so much of your life planned before Ollie came along and I know Tommy was in it. You stopped hoping. He stopped hoping. Now, that hope is real again. That has to be terrifying, even if it is wonderful too."

"And you said I should stop," Aisha muttered as Kim wiped her eyes but shook her head again. "Really?"

"She's right. I haven't told him. I don't want him to feel pressured or like he has to say it back. It's something that…I don't know…" Kim muttered as she took another sip of her margarita and Trini then pulled it out of her hand. "Hey…that's mine."

"And you're crying. Both of you are cut off or you won't be able to work tomorrow," Trini explained and Kim pouted before taking another long pull on the straw and then nodding along in agreement. "I wish I wasn't the DD this week."

"You wouldn't have gotten me to talk if I was sober," Kim pointed out and Trini let out a chuckle. Kim had a point. They had tried to get details about how their weekend getaway had gone for weeks and finally Kim had not been the DD. That night they had found out everything about how their weekend went. And that night had been when they decided to rotate DD around more equally.

"You should just tell him," Aisha said as a song came on and Kim jumped to her feet and ran out to the dance floor. "That is one hell of a way to avoid the conversation."

"She'll tell him when she's ready. Or Ollie will ask her if she loves Tommy in front of him and force the conversation. That would be funnier," Trini said as they both giggled and then went to join Kim on the dance floor.

Kim giggled as she tried to unlock the door to her condo and stumbled forward as the door opened. She landed against a chest and looked up to see Tommy shaking his head at her as he scooped her up.

"H…hi," Kim forced between giggles as she buried her face against his chest and he let out a chuckle. "You're pretty."

"Thank you," Tommy said with a laugh as she drunkenly patted the side of his face and he let out another laugh. "Oh what did they give you?"

"Margaritas. And then tequiwla shorts," Kim slurred and Tommy shook his head. She had told him that she hadn't gone out with friends in Miami, there was no one that she trusted to look after Ollie like that and be safe for her to come home to. These girl's nights were something she desperately needed and he was always happy to be here when she got home. It was the only way she'd go out. "It was too much…I'm sorry. I didn't mean to get drunk. But we started talking about you and it was too much."

"Baby, I don't need to know," Tommy whispered as they got to her bedroom and she just shook her head. "Beautiful, anything you have to say can wait until tomorrow."

"This can't wait," Kim said and he froze. What could she possibly be willing to say drunk that she wouldn't say sober? "You don't have to say anything back. You don't have to tell me how you feel, but I…I…I still…I love you."

"I love you too," Tommy said as she stared at him and he gave her a smile. "Of course, I doubt you're going to remember this tomorrow."

"I will," Kim pouted as she tried to pull off her shirt and managed to get tangled in it. Tommy caught her and helped her get her clothes off before grabbing a pajama shirt. He left it with her as he went into the bathroom to dig for some makeup remover wipes, not trusting her to actually wash her face. He heard a thump and returned to see her trying to shove her arms into one arm hole.

"Wait, wait, wait," Tommy said as he caught her before she could stumble into something that would hurt her. "One arm at a time."

"I just wanna sleep naked," Kim stated as she threw the shirt to the side and proceeded to take off the rest of her clothes. He shook his head as he wiped off her makeup and let out another chuckle. He knew she was drunk enough that she wouldn't remember any of this now. "You too."

"Nope. As much as I'd love that, you're too drunk," Tommy said as he gave her a quick kiss before tucking her into bed. He went to shower off for the night and by the time he returned, her deep snores filled the room. He crawled under the covers and she turned towards him, snuggling into his body as he got comfortable. He wasn't sure if he was going to thank Aisha and Trini for tonight, but he was glad that drunk her was ready to say how much she cared.
