Aizen sighed as he spied the light at the end of the tunnel or rather the sewer pipe he was currently crawling through. Little did he know that is relief would be short himself out of the narrow end of the pipe he was momentarily blinded by the bright white light. Aizen blinked a few times before his eyes adjusted to the light. He looked around and registered the fact that he was now in deep shit, really deep shit.

'I must sneak away quickly before they know that I am here.' decided Aizen mentally paling. He scurried across the floor to the nearest exit only to be stopped by someone stepping on his tail. Schreeching in pain he turned around and gazed up at the frightening expression on a female shinigami's face.
"Well well well… what do we have here? A lab rat is trying to escape. " commented the woman, grinning sadistically.

Aizen had directly landed in the twelfth division laboratories.

In The Twelfth Division Laboratories

While Ichigo was being beaten and Renji being kidnapped, Aizen was being held by his tail by a psychotic woman. Needless to say the villain of our story wasn't pleased.

Aizen squirmed as the woman carried him by his tail to her work station. 'Shit I am feeling dizzy…' he thought as he was dangled upside down. The blood rushing to his head was making him groggy and being dangled by his tail was painful. He squeaked indignantly when he got stuffed into a tiny cage.

Meanwhile the scientist who had caught him sat down in a chair and grinned at the brown mouse. She spoke in an amused and reassuring tone while her intelligent eyes observed Aizen. "Don't worry I won't hurt you."Aizen mentally shuddered at her words. He was trapped in the twelfth division laboratory with a scientist.

The woman in front of him wasn't any random researcher but was the fifth seat of twelfth division, Mikoto Kisaragi and Aizen had once known her very well. Mikoto was his batch mate at the Shino Academy. She was a good fighter and a great scientist too. But what Aizen dreaded the most was the fact that she was also quite sadistic.

Mikoto was a toxicologist, someone who worked with poisons. The last thing Aizen wanted was to be injected by some poison that had him literally melting into a puddle of goop. Unfortunately for Aizen her favorite hobby was to watch the reactions of her test subjects after being injected by her poisons.

While Aizen was mentally agonizing over his predicament, Mikoto was wondering about what to do with her test subject. However she could not think for too long as one of her subordinates rushed in.

"Mikoto san Kurotshuchi taichou's private laboratory has been compromised." Informed the subordinate while panting loudly from his run. "What!" exclaimed Mikoto standing up. She marched towards the subordinate and asked in a firm tone "Does the third and Fourth seats know."

"Uhh...yes Akon san and Hayate san knows. They are on their way. " Replied the unseated shinigami quickly. "Alright. Let's go and find our captain and lieutenant." Mikoto ordered her subordinate before striding away.

Aizen let out a huff of relief as the door closed behind Mikoto's back. He then quickly made his way towards the gate of the cage. When he pushed bodily the gate gave away. 'Today is my lucky day. Thank me that she forgot to close the cage.' He thought smirking. Leaping off the table he quickly scurried out of the lab. As he traveled through the corridors he made sure to keep in the shadows so as not to be spotted.

Aizen kept on running till he was out of the twelfth division premise. Once out of the gates he scouted for a safe place to hide. Taking shelter in an abandoned box in an alleyway he took stock of his current condition in order to plan.

'Hmm…' he mused as he inspected his rodent features. 'Looks like something caused me to turn into a rodent. But what was it? While this form is good for hiding and traveling it is also very vulnerable. I have to find a way to turn back into a soul reaper and regain my powers.'

He then decided to continue on to the first division where his sealed sword had been kept under lock and key. 'Maybe…' he thought 'Maybe Kyoka Suigetsu can help me.'

The old man voice from the rafters startled everyone in the meeting hall. "Hmm... now this is a side effect I did not expect. Seems like not only our bodies but our minds are turning into animals as well." Stated Kurotsuchi.

In the Captains Meeting Hall

"What do you mean we will turn into animals mentally as well?" asked Kensei growling up at the rafters. "It means that as time passes our behavior will become more animal like." replied Kurotsuchi annoyance lacing his voice. "How troublesome…" he mused. Unfortunately he made the mistake of pronouncing loudly "Well the ones who are carnivores like Kyoraku taicho will try to eat those who are herbivores like Ukitake taicho."

Understandably his words plunged the hall into literal chaos. All the herbivores ran as fast as they could from their carnivorous colleague towards the door. The foremost among them was Omeaeda the second division lieutenant. He was quite sure that his feline captain was ruthless and sadistic enough to eat him.

SILENCE AND EVERYONE BACK TO YOUR PLACES!

The loud and commanding voice of the head captain rang across the meeting hall freezing everyone to their places. Everyone turned to look at him a little frightened.

The stork calmly inspected them before continuing in a slightly quieter voice. "Is this how the captains and vice captains of the thirteen court guard squad behaves?!" He admonished.

Everyone looked away ashamed and guilty. Only Unohana seemed unfazed by his scolding. Even those who hadn't tried to run like Rukia were flinching at his words.

"I want all of you to keep quiet." Commanded the Head Captain before looking up at the twelfth division captain. "You…" he growled "I can't even begin to describe how displeased I am with you. You will keep quiet until Urahara sends us a solution."

"All right." Muttered a highly displeased Kurotsuchi. When the head captain turned back towards his chaotic juniors they quickly resumed their former position.
