This is Chapter 4 of Tales of the Decade Second Season. Please enjoy it like a fan for Kamen Rider.
Chapter 4: The World of Greed, Desire and Clean Underwear
Sitting on a chair as he's enjoying his breakfast, Tsukasa breathes along with Dragonic as they are both drinking a cup of coffee before they arrive to the next world. He was enjoying the meal that Natsumi made but Tsukasa is still upset about the last time with Kaito reappearing to get in their way. Of all the times for the thief to become a nuisance; it's when Dai-Shocker is conquering worlds.
''That Kaito…'' He mutters, pissed off about his appearance. Natsumi sits beside him, sipping on her coffee as she expresses. ''I'm surprised he has a Pokémon too.''
''Absol!'' Layla barks angrily, also mad about that thieving Purrloin. She growls, complaining how that cat could trick Natsumi and use her like that.
''How fitting.'' Tsukasa agrees with her almost sarcastically, finding it so weird to have a cat and Kaito being a match in heaven. Natsumi sweat drops, also seeing how fitting he and Layla are too; the kind destroyer and the heroic disaster.
''Purrloin is considered a thief Pokémon.'' Dragonic informs the group to Natsumi's surprise. ''OH! Then they're made for each other like Tsukasa-kun and Layla-chan!'' Tsukasa and even Layla give her a look, not sure about that.
Just then the house shakes, confirming they have arrived.
''Guess we're here now.'' Sougo walks out, ready to go. Dragonic nods as he turns to the backdrop. It shows the image of 3 strange metal colored coins: A green, a yellow and a red coin each.
''This is the World of OOO.'' Dragonic informs the group with Natsumi asking, puzzled. ''Ooz?''
''No-no, 3 Os.'' The dragon corrects her, causing her to gasp. ''OOOH!''
Tsukasa just makes a look as he proceeds to walk outside.
''Hmm…'' He hums, staring upon a destroyed, battlefield-like city. The others walk out with Natsumi freaking heavily as does Layla.
''I was expecting a normal city, not…'' Tsukasa begins to say, not expecting a destroyed world already and it wasn't his doing for once. But his words are cut off by Natsumi's voice. ''Woah! Look at you Tsukasa-kun!''
Tsukasa raises an eyebrow, looking at himself and he's dressed up in a business-like formal outfit with his hair comb and sleek down.
''Eh, this is the wrong setting for a suit.'' Natsumi mutters, finding it really like the "Not ready for the end of the world" scenario. Tsukasa checks his pockets and finds a wallet that has the ID of him being a politician.
''I'm a politician in this world…'' He begins to say and immediately frowns. He just stands there before he turns around and walks back inside, heading upstairs to his room. Natsumi panics because of this, calling out to him. ''Where are you going, Tsukasa-kun?!''
''Never liked politics!'' Tsukasa just responds, walking further away. Natsumi, Absol and Jigglypuff sweat drop honestly believing that. Sougo hums, able to understand that.
''Oh ho, Tsukasa-chan is someone I would love to vote for~.'' Kiva-la expresses joyfully in a teasing voice.
Riding on the Machine Decader, Tsukasa, now wearing one of his many and much cooler outfits, looks around the conquered, destroyed city with Natsumi holding grip behind him. She frowns at the world, reminding her of how close her world was about to become this disaster.
''Dai-Shocker must have taken this world over before we appeared.'' She mutters saddened. Tsukasa looks around and something tells him there's more behind this, responding. ''So it seems.''
They look around, finding a newspaper of how the world was attacked by a being called King OOO.
''King OOO? This doesn't seem right.'' Sougo, walking behind the two, proclaims with Dragonic hovering above them. Tsukasa frowns as he looks up at the dragon, demanding him. ''Dragonic, explain.''
''Sougo can explain it too.'' Dragonic replies with his arms crossed. Tsukasa turns to Sougo who immediately explains to them. ''King OOO or Ancient OOO, in the canon timeline, was the original OOO. Only a few who can contain the desires and powers of the Core Medals can wield the power of OOO and he was the original. However, his path of power and greed led to his own destruction... sort of.'' He doesn't want to mention he returned and things turn bad, especially to the current OOO.
Natsumi smiles, astonished at how knowledgeable Sougo is while Tsukasa then asks, more concerned for their current enemy. ''But what of this version?''
Sougo looks around, almost reading out this world and informs him. ''He was awakened by unknown means. Whoever woke him back did so as well as the Greeed; monsters that are made out of the Core Medals, must have known what they were and didn't care.''
Tsukasa hums, surprised he concluded all of this. Guess he has the right to be called the so-called King of Time.
"More like an outside force the awakening of this King OOO." The group became startled by a voice. They turn and stare at some guy, wearing a somewhat hippie-like outfit and carrying a stick with… a pair of underpants being carried by the tip of the stick. Tsukasa looks at the underpants, humming at how bizarre someone who carry them other than a homeless idiot.
''Oh sorry, I'm just well traveling here with a friend.'' He proclaims with a soft smile, not meaning to scare them. He sweat drops, looking around for his friend and well… he's never one to let others worry for him or what he wants. ''He got well distracted. Looking for popsicles.''
Natsumi hums as he seems really nice and he might-
''Yea, sure. Thanks for the information, hippie.'' Tsukasa, however, tells him off as the young man utters in shock. ''H-Hippie?!''
Natsumi gives a look at Tsukasa that he would call a friendly guy a hippie. She shakes her head as she asks the nice stranger. ''Do you know what exactly happen?''
''Not so much since-'' He begs to say until a cry of help is heard, belonging to a little girl. This shakes the core of the stranger who declares. ''Sorry! Someone is in trouble!'' He immediately runs off in a hurry. Tsukasa hums as Natsumi encourages him. ''Come on Tsukasa-kun! Hero up!''
He eyes her and nods, planning to though he doesn't like that catchphrase. They after him and there find him getting a little girl from a group of 5 monsters, each one based on a color and almost animal features like a bird, insect, tiger, fish and gorilla-like all around.
''So those are the Greeed.'' Tsukasa theorizes with Sougo warning him of the faceless minions around the Greeed. ''Careful, they use one's desires to create their monsters, Yummies.''
Tsukasa just smirks, strapping on the Decadriver while Sougo puts on the Ziku Driver.
''Then I'm the perfect target for their hungry. Perfect!'' He declares with a smug smirk, holding up the Decade Rider Card and thrusting it into his belt's slot while Sougo thrusts his Ridewatch into the right slot of his belt.
''KAMEN RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as the Ziku Driver announces. ''RIDER TIME!''
''Henshin!'' Both Tsukasa and Sougo shout, doing their poses as they transform.
''DECADE!'' The Decadriver declares as Tsukasa becomes Decade while the Ziku Driver announces, transforming Sougo into Zi-O. ''KAMEN~RIDER~! ZI-O!''
The Greeed notices this as the yellow one says with a snickering voice. ''Oh, more Riders?''
''Bring it on!'' The gray one shouts with a slow, dumb sounding voice as he charges. Decade steps up forward, pulling his Ride Booker in gun form as it fires the Yummies first and then dodges the big Greeed's charging attack. He switches his weapon to sword form, swiping the blade with his free hand before thrusting a card into his belt before charging at the monster's back.
''ATTACK RIDE! SLASH!'' The Decadriver shouts as Decade swings his blade forward and slashes the Greeed's back with multiple magenta energy slashes. They hit the Greeed but he doesn't flinch.
The yellow Greeed dashes fast at Zi-O who barely dodges the first attack by how fast he moved and then he u-turn to his back and slashes him with his claws, sparks flying out. Zi-O is tossed flying as he spins but he manages to land on the ground. The Greeed comes at him again as Zi-O tries to punch him but he dashes under him and nearly slashes him if not for the rider to wield his Zikan Girade in Sword form, nearly slashing him if he didn't move around his swing and leap away.
"ZIKAN GIRADE! GIRI GIRI GIRI!" The Zikan Girade announces as Zi-O presses its trigger button and begins swinging pink energy slashes that move with unseen speed. The Greeed parries with its claws, shredding the attacks with ease.
The blue Greeed hums as she proclaims rather eagerly. "My turn then." She turns into water and blasts towards Decade who tries to slash the giant Greeed. He turns just as the Greeed comes at her until Layla intercepts and uses Protect to block the attack.
"Absol!" She barks, not going to let the monster hurt him.
Grunting, the green Greeed now charges irritated towards these heroes and catches Zi-O by the head and slams him on top of Decade and Layla, all 3 crashing on the wall. Natsumi watches worryingly as the 3 heroes pull themselves up.
''They're kinda tough.'' Decade mutters, pulling out a Rider Card and thrusts it into his belt.
''KAMEN RIDE!'' The Decadriver begins to declare as he pushes the levers forward as he glows and transforms into… ''SUPER-1!''
The green Greeed howls as he comes charging as Decade-Super-1 stands his ground, doing a charging pose with his right arm extended. The Greeed comes at him only for Decade to swing his fist forward and punches the Greeed directly to his stomach so hard he actually stops and staggers in pain. The fist actually pierces him, leaking out Medals before he's thrusted into a wall, smashing through it.
This shocks the other Greeed, enough time for Zi-O to switch his weapon to gun form and take aim at all three.
''TIME CHARGE GO!'' The weapon shouts, firing multiple energy shots that freeze up at first to both villains' surprise until Zi-O presses the top button and the shots resume, blasting them both as sparks fly out. This stuns them as Decade reverts to base and tosses upward a Rider Card that slides perfectly into his belt.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade swipes the back of his sword.
''FINISH TIME!'' The Zikan Girade announces as Zi-O presses the trigger.
''DECADE!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade dashes at gray and yellow Greeed, passing through multiple holographic cards in a row with such speed before the two are suddenly slashed twice by Decade now behind them. Soon they glow and explode, flying away hard.
''ZI-O! GIRI GIRI SLASH!'' The weapon announces as Zi-O swings the sword and unleashes a powerful energy slash upon the blue Greeed before she explodes.
The green Greeed comes out from the wall until he's hit across the chest by Layla's Night Slash through her horn, slashing him away.
All four monsters crash hard as most of their Core Medals fly out of them, which Layla easily picks up, biting on them with her fangs.
Natsumi smiles as they do it. The stranger and even Decade eye the red Greeed, just observing mainly towards the Core Medals in Layla's mouth. He frowns, not surprised he would wait for the right moment as he advises Decade and the others. ''Careful, there's still-''
''TAKA! TORA! BATTA!'' A strange yet dark machine-like voice begins to announce as 3 horizontal symbols form behind the group: a red bird, a yellow tiger and a green grasshopper. Soon the three symbols combine as the voice then announces in a chant. ''TATOBA TATOBA TATOBA!''
They turn and see as approaching them is King OOO, his darkened rider outfit resembling a tyrant out to destroy and kill. Immediately seeing him, the red Greeed leaves the area.
''And him too.'' He mutters worryingly. Decade stares at this Dark Rider as the green Greeed tries crawling towards him.
''King, I-'' He begins to apologize for his failure only to suddenly be pulled up by King OOO's hand on his throat. Not just him but all of the other Greeed are pulled up off their feet by the Dark Rider's power, squeezing them.
''AAAWW!'' All 4 gasp in agony as King OOO proclaims firmly. ''Your services no longer interest me.'' All four glow and shatter into nothing as their remaining Core Medals are absorbed into him.
''King OOO, huh? Not what I was expecting but-'' Decade begins to say, preparing to taunt the villain but King OOO stares at him and proclaims coldly. ''So you are who the one called Decade.'' Sparks of energy fly out wildly across his body. ''Dai-Shocker will be pleased with your death.''
Decade scoffs, pulling out a Rider Card and thrusts it in his driver.
''KAMEN RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as he pushes the levers and transforms him into… ''RIDERMAN!''
Natsumi blinks that the helmet of Riderman is an actual helmet with no facemask, clearly seeing Tsukasa's bottom mouth and chin. Even Decade rubs his chin, very unease by this… non-protective sensation.
''Oh, this is really new.'' He mutters as he holds forward his hook hand weapon and shoots it right at King OOO. He stands there as the hook is bounced away from him by his mere energy. Decade-Riderman still charges forward, twirling the hook and swings it again at him. King OOO just holds his hand as the hook shatters before it could even touch him. Decade still swings a fist which he dodges with ease as he follows with a kick and King OOO repels with his own kick. Sparks fly out as they're pushed back.
King OOO then swings his arm upward, releasing a tidal torrent of energy that blasts Decade into the air. Decade-Riderman's giant hook hand becomes a claw as it shoots out and pierces through a wall. It then immediately reels Decade-Riderman pulling away instantly before King OOO fires an energy sphere that nearly hits him.
Decade-Riderman lands on the ground, rolling. His arm then changes into a weapon-like blaster. He takes aim and fires a shot at King OOO but barely does any damage. He just walks through the attacks, sparks flying out but not fazing the evil king. He then fires another sphere, blasting Decade-Riderman out of the transformation. Tsukasa crashes hard on his back, grunting as if he should have just used Faiz or Kabuto against this guy. Layla runs to his aid as does Zi-O, pulling him up.
''Is that all? Pathe-'' King OOO begins to mock him, preparing to fire another sphere until Natsumi shouts. "SING, JIGGLY!"
Gasping happily, Jigglypuffy begins singing. "JIGGLY~JIGGLYPUFF! JIGGLY~ JIGGLY~!"
King OOO turns and starts to feel dazed, grunting as Tsukasa stands up. He smirks, trying to cover his ears as the song is getting to him as well as everyone but Zi-O and Dragonic.
"Damn pest!" King OOO shouts, firing a small shot that blasts Jiggly onto the ground, eyes spinning around. He prepares to attack the group until a robotic voice shouts. ''CRANE ARM!'' A shooting crane arm hits King OOO across the chest so hard it staggers him.
''Heh, just in time!'' Leaping forward is Kamen Rider Birth, pulling back his crane. King OOO hisses as he stands up. He gazes towards him and scoffs. ''You again. You just don't get it, fool.''
''Let me tell you this!'' Birth begins to tell him, crouching down and rubs his right hand's fingers together, doing the "Pay Me" hand gesture. ''I'm just a greedy man.''
King OOO scoffs as he reforms both the blue and gray Greeed. His monsters run forward at Birth who charges back. He swings a punch at the blue Greeed who summons a tentacle and bashes him away followed by the gray Greed who tackles him backwards. Birth grinds his feet on the ground, holding his ground as he thrusts a medal into his belt, twirling the lever.
''DRILL ARM!'' The belt announces as his right arm transforms into a drill while his left arm changes into a shovel. ''SHOVEL ARM!''
He thrust his drill arm into the giant Greeed, actually piercing through him and drills out as many medals as possible. The blue Greeed comes at him but Birth thrusts his shovel into the ground and digs out rocks at her. She dashes around them but not the shovel stabbing into her. She screams out in pain as Birth declares excitedly. ''Gimme all those medals!''
He slams them both so hard that they shatter into pieces.
''Tch, useless.'' King OOO proclaims, at least having the majority of their Core Medals instead. He soon walks away, causing Birth to get mad.
''Hey wait!'' He shouts, tossing a Cell Medal into his belt and twirls the lever, activating it. ''BREAST CANNON!'' A large chest cannon forms as he takes aim with it. ''Like hell you're leaving!''
The stranger notices that a family is hiding where King OOO is walking from. Immediately, he runs up and blocks Birth's path, shouting. ''Stop it!''
Birth staggers as King OOO vanishes. Birth staggers in fury as his transformation is undone, revealing to be some guy wearing a black leather, battle damaged outfit with a red torn scarf around his neck.
''What the hell! I had him!'' He yells at the one before him. Frowning, the strange points at the family emerging from hiding, telling him. ''Look and tell me your attack wouldn't hurt them!''
This causes the Birth rider to stagger, grunting mad. He was so close to killing King OOO.
''Strange, he's not a hippie then.'' Tsukasa proclaims with his arms crossed, rather surprised by his caring for other human lives than his own. Natsumi sweat drops, correcting him kindly. ''Well of course not, Tsukasa-kun.''
Zi-O agrees as he reverts back to Sougo.
''Eiji!'' A new voice speaks up, causing both the stranger and the Birth rider to utter out in confusion. ''Huh?''
Running forward is some girl, wearing a war battle gear as she smacks the Birth rider by the head, causing him to stagger in pain.
''You got reckless again, Eiji!'' She lectures him firmly, upset he went on his own, again. The rider. Eiji scoffs as he tells her. ''Please Hina, I could have taken on OOO with one-''
She immediately smacks the back of his head again, telling him firmly. ''I won't tell you again, I'll gladly take the Birth Driver from you if you stop acting like an idiot.''
Eiji scoffs again, giving her a cold shoulder. The stranger watches the two, finding them different to well-
''And you two who transformed!'' The woman, Hina, suddenly speaks in a demanding tone towards Tsukasa and Sougo. ''Who are you?''
''Yours first.'' Tsukasa proclaims, not needing to tell anyone who he is without knowing theirs. She scoffs, proclaiming coldly. ''Just another egoist bastard.''
''That is his default self.'' Dragonic proclaims with Layla nodding in agreement. ''Absol!''
Natsumi sweat drops, not going to debate about it until Hina questions her firmly. ''You. Is he an idiot like this one?'' She eyes her and doesn't need to think twice as she responds. ''Well no-''
Sighing some relief, Hina soon says calmly. ''Then I can work with him. Follow me, now!''
She begins to walk as Tsukasa smirks and responds sarcastically. ''Yes ma'am.''
The group along with the stranger follows them with Eiji scoffing, following too. They are unaware that Kaito and Purrloin are watching from afar, both having their eyes set on the target.
Hina takes the group to the hidden base that is the last resistance against King OOO. She explains that many have tried and many failed to oppose or damage King OOO all except theirs with Eiji being Birth.
''I get the gist then. Your resistance is doing well but your only rider is a selfish moron.'' Tsukasa clarifies what he learned. Eiji growls but Hina nods, further explaining. ''Exactly. Eiji is qualified to use the Birth Driver from the Kougami Foundation's dead president.''
She then goes over how King OOO was resurrected due to Kougami Foundation's technology… but it wasn't completely true. She worked as his secretary when he founded his tomb. He wanted to seal it away for good, fearing the world would become ashes by his mere presence however the company or rather someone told him of the secrets of the Core Medals and how it would benefit the company. He still refused… but this person used his own company against him, turning all to seek out that greed.
''The president felt responsible for the revival of King OOO. It was out of his control because of-'' Hina begins to express, eventually learning who was behind this and Tsukasa beats it to her. ''Dai-Shocker.''
This shocks her as Tsukasa then says. ''We came here to stop them.''
''Common enemies then.'' Eiji mutters. Hina nods as she resumes explaining. ''They offered to help the Foundation with the Core Medal project to help the world but it was a lie and our president knew it. He opposed the project but Dai-Shocker's scientist, some Doctor Shinigami somehow persuaded everyone to out rule the president's word, even pushing him out of his company.''
She's only seen this person once; an old man with white hair, wearing a scientist suit but he didn't feel human. She doesn't understand how he did it to turn everyone against the president but he did.
''You believe in him, no?'' Tsukasa questions her. Hina frowns and nods firmly, recalling his kindness until King OOO killed not long ago. ''I was his secretary and I knew him better than anyone else. Our president was a kind and determined man. He didn't deserve to die the way he did by that monster OOO.''
She then remembers something he told her and corrects herself. ''No, he said King OOO is not the only OOO.'' She pulls out an old, rusty device. ''He said this is the key to making things right but…''
Hina has had many people in their resistance to put it on and use it but none have been able to unlock whatever hidden power is in the belt. She frowns, explaining it. ''He mentioned someone with no selfish desires can wield the power of the OOO Driver.''
''And 3 Core Medals to use it too.'' The stranger speaks up smiling, pointing to Layla who still had the medals. She startles, handing them to Eiji who hums, touching the wet medals. He starts to distance himself.
''Y-Yes. How did you know that?'' Hina questions him as he snickers nervously. ''Lucky guess.''
Hina lets out a calm sigh as she mutters. "Sometimes I wonder if Eiji could be the one but he's so selfish and full of himself."
Eiji grunts by her comment, immediately walking out.
"But the president believed in him. In his final words, he told me Eiji is the only one who can wield the drivers." She then admits, wondering why her dead boss thought like that.
Tsukasa looks around and then asks her. ''Where is your hero anyway?''
She blinks, looking around and she gets mad, stomping her foot on the ground. ''Damn it Eiji.''
''Was he always like this?'' Sougo asks her. Hina thinks for a moment before answering him. ''Sadly he was but... he wasn't obsessive.''
Alone to his thoughts, Eiji, walking in the destroyed city, kicks a tin can away out of his frustration. He's been fighting and fighting and gets nothing out of it; just another day to survive. Back before this whole mess started; he had a wealthy family and all the money in the world to do what he wanted. He could get anything and do whatever he liked, enjoying his life and his family until the Greeed and King OOO ruined everything. His family, his wealth, his possessions; all of it gone.
And then he ended up into this stupid resistance and got insulted by Hina every time he screwed up.
''Stupid Hina…'' He mutters, hating every bit of it. He doesn't need a nag to tell him what to do. He then pulls out the Birth Driver. It was given to him by the dead president he wasn't able to save. He said that he would learn true value before he passed away. He wasn't kidding as this driver has helped him turn the tide against the enemy and he plans to regain everything too!
He then holds up the Core Medals, certain they will help him get what he'll need.
''With this, I can-'' He begins to say until he hears a sound. He turns to the right and spots the red Greeed walking out from the shadows.
''A Greeed got this close?'' Eiji utters in surprise, not expecting one to find their base. The Greeed moves his bird-like claw, demanding firmly. ''Those belong to me.''
Eiji raises an eyebrow, eyeing the medals as they were different colors but red. He looks back at the monster and questions him. ''Don't you mean your comrades?''
''Only the strong survive.'' The Greeed responds seriously, causing the human to smirk as he straps on the Birth Driver.
''Took the words out of my mouth.'' Eiji declares, flipping a Cell Medal and catches it as he shouts. ''Hen-''
''ATTACK RIDE! DIEND BLAST!'' But before he can finish his words and slide in the plain medal, a barrage of cyan energy shots flies out of nowhere and strikes dead on the Greeed's chest, sparks not only flying out but even opening up his chest to show most of his Core Medals. This shocks Eiji as he turns to see Diend on top of a small, destroyed rooftop.
''Yo. You don't mind me entering this dance.'' Diend greets him with a wave. The Greeed grunts as he tries to close his chest until Selina suddenly appears in front of him, smirking before snatching one of his main Core Medals with Thief. She zig-zags on top of Diend's shoulder.
''Nyan~Nyan.'' The Purrloin purrs with a smug smirk, flipping the Core Medal which irritates the Greeed, gasping as he feels a piece of himself missing.
''My Core…'' He utters, trying to move but he's suddenly shot again by Diend's blasts. He staggers again, steam flying out of his chest as he can't go on, proclaiming. ''I'll be back for it!'' He erupts in flames and vanishes.
Eiji is surprised, eyeing Diend as he resembles a lot like that guy.
''You're like that other rider.'' He theorizes as Diend faces him. ''Tsukasa-san, right?'' He reverts back as Daiki smirks softly. ''We're friends.''
Tsukasa barely pays attention as Hina explains their attack plan on King OOO's base. With two more riders, the plan might work.
''So if King OOO is beaten, things should be back to normal then?'' Natsumi asks Hina who frowns. ''Not exactly…''
Hina explains that the rest of the world is under a brainwash that they must obey Dai-Shocker. Luckily, this doesn't affect everyone: Only those with weak desires that can be manipulated. The majority of people who resisted were here in Japan, which was why King OOO has been attacking here first.
''So we'll have to get rid of this control Dai-Shocker has on everyone else too.'' Sougo proclaims. She nods as she then says, recalling something. ''He was making a machine using the Foundation's technology. That could be it.''
''Then we'll deal with this machine first.'' Dragonic proclaims, sipping a cup of green tea.
''We might not have to.'' The group turns to Eiji, proclaiming with a smirk. ''We just have to beat King OOO and take his power to deal with this machine.''
''Oh? Look at him sounding this cocky.'' Tsukasa proclaims calmly, seeing he's slightly more boastful. Eiji scoffs as he says smirking. ''I made a friend who has my back and knows the backdoor to King OOO's base.''
Tsukasa raises an eyebrow by who he's-
''Yo, Tsukasa-san.'' His eyes widened partly, turning his sight towards Daiki and Purrloin on his shoulder. Tsukasa sighs as he proclaims. ''Of course. A Greedy moron and his new friend, a thief.''
''Treasure Hunter.'' Daiki corrects him as well as Selina purring playfully. ''Nyan~''
''Absol!'' Layla barks furiously at the cat for the last time. Selina hisses back. The two Pokémon glare furiously at the other.
Hina makes a face as Natsumi laughs nervously, explaining it. ''They're um friends we know.''
''Define friends, Natsumi-chan.'' Dragonic says, reminding her that Daiki is more of a leech than a friend. Tsukasa agrees as he warns Hina and Eiji. ''We can't trust what this "treasure hunter" has to say or offer.''
The "hippie" stranger hums as the guy looks trustworthy but something about his eyes he doesn't trust.
''Now-now Tsukasa-san, all I want are the Core Medals. Nothing else.'' Daiki explains himself with an honest smile. Tsukasa doesn't trust that smile but Hina wants to know of his intel, questioning him. ''So you know how to enter King OOO's castle.''
''Of course.'' Daiki responds with a small smile, pulling out a photo of King OOO's castle, mainly the backdoor they can get inside. Eiji also agrees, replying. ''I trust him. He helped me when a Greeed got close in. And we can take all the medals from them and finally weaken King OOO for good!''
Hina hums about it and even though Tsukasa seems sure this guy is a thief; he might be helpful. Plus, he doesn't seem brainwashed either.
''It can't be helped.'' She proclaims, going to trust him.
''You can't trust him.'' Tsukasa warns her again, knowing Kaito better than anyone but the stubborn woman already made up her mind. ''We must take the risk.''
Tsukasa doesn't argue anymore as he walks away, finding it pointless as he knows what Kaito wants. Dragonic sighs, feeling for him as Sougo walks up to Tsukasa and questions him, believing him too. ''You think Daiki Kaito is doing this for something bigger.''
''You don't need to be a genius to tell he is.'' Tsukasa replies, knowing Kaito and his thieving tricks. He eyes Layla, barking at him as he nods and tells him and Natsumi. ''You can help them; I'm following my own lead.''
''Mind if I tag along?'' The stranger asks him, smiling, having an idea where he's going. "Also, call me Hino."
"… Now you I can trust, underpants hippie." Tsukasa proclaims to Hino's confusion, sweat dropping. "I-I just like clean underwear."
Tsukasa just smirks as he walks ahead as well as Layla. Hino follows them. Natsumi smiles as at least he's making friends while Kiva-la coos, watching them.
The operation commences as Hina's plan is to distract the front of King OOO's base. Sougo offers to help with that, already transformed. He and Natsumi watch in the front of the castle and the numerous Yummies, just walking around zombie-like.
''There're a lot of them.'' Natsumi mutters, gulping. Zi-O nods but he still has to play his part. He proceeds to charge forward without a second thought, attacking the Yummies and making as much of a distraction to let Hina's main group get inside the castle through the back end, unguarded.
''Man this backdoor you discovered is something else!'' Eiji, transformed as Birth, expresses as he looks at Daiki, also transformed as Diend. He nods, eyeing that Birth rubbing only 2 Core Medals: A yellow and green one.
''… You have some obsession for the medals.'' Diend questions him. Birth becomes quiet, still rubbing them before clenching his fist tightly around it before he answers him. ''My family died during the attack and my wealth burned away too.'' He becomes bitter, going to take it all back. ''I want it all back. Nothing else.''
Diend also becomes silent, not wanting to admit it but he's reminded of his own loss.
''Nyan~'' Selina purrs in a taunt about how similar they are.
They soon arrive to what resembles the main chambers but King OOO is nowhere to be found but there's an open fault of so many Cell Medals.
''Look at all these medals! Haha!'' Birth shouts astonishingly, fisting his right hand into his left palm. ''Time to-'' He begins to declare until he's suddenly blasted across the back. Hina widens her eyes, turning who did it; it was Diend.
''Eiji!'' She shouts to him who gets up grunting. ''What the hell?'' He turns to see it was Diend who shot him, shocked by this. "W-why?!"
''We made a deal yes but I'm altering it.'' Diend declares, thrusting a card into his blaster and fires upward. "KAMEN RIDE! RIOTROOPERS!" The shot spreads into multiple beams that become the Smart Brain foot soldiers. They all attack the members of the resistance, slamming or tossing them like ragdolls. Hina is pushed aside to Birth's enraged, running to her but Diend gets in his way with Selina purring in a taunting way.
''I want your driver.'' Diend declares, taking aim with his gun at Birth. ''No hard feelings.''
''Like hell!'' Birth shouts, charging at him. Selina hums smirking as she leaps off Diend who immediately runs so fast he grabs Birth by the choke hold and tosses him through a wall. He rolls away and gets up quickly only to get shot multiple times as he's slammed onto the wall.
Diend snickers, twirling his blaster as he approaches him. Birth groans, picking up a Cell Medal and tosses it into his belt slot and twirling the lever.
''DRILL ARM!'' The Birth Driver announces, manifests its drill arm weapon. He comes charging, thrusting the drill forward but Diend dodges around the thrusting attacks with ease. He snickers as he holds up two Rider Cards and inserts them swiftly into the Diendriver as he leaps backwards.
''KAMEN RIDE!'' The Diendriver announces as Diend fires two shots and summons two of his Riders. ''KAIXA! GATACK!'' Kaixa twirls his armed sword-gun weapon while Gatack unsheathes both his shoulder blades. They charge at Birth who thrusts his drill arm at them but Kaixa shoots him on the chest, stunning him to let Gatack to slash in a x-shaped, slamming him backwards.
Birth breathes as he loads and twirls another coin as the belt announces. ''CATERPILLAR LEGS!'' His legs gained armored rim feet as he rolled forward with such speed. He kicks Kaixa hard, grinding him with the sharp rims of the armored legs but then Gatack uses Clock Up, easily slashing Birth multiple times in the slow down time before launching and slams through a wall.
Diend watches, not even concern what he can-
''BIRTH DAY!'' Suddenly the wall is torn apart as Birth emerges out, fully battle armor with all of his armored limbs. Birth takes aim with his chest cannon, beginning to declare. ''H-How's-''
''Nyan~'' Birth's view is blocked by Selina on top of his shovel arm, grinning as she blows a kiss and uses Attract. This causes Birth's vision and even his computer system to temporarily malfunction, enough for Diend to slide in the finishing card and take aim with his gun.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE!'' The Diendriver announces as swirls of bar pattern energy forms, absorbing both his summoned riders into it before he fires a destructive cyan blast. ''DIEND!''
Birth just snaps out from the attract but it is too late as the beam consumes him and he screams. "AAWWWWW!" Soon Birth explodes in a devastated explosion to Hina's horror. "EIJI!"
