This is Chapter 4.5 of Tales of the Decade Second Season. Please enjoy it like a fan for Kamen Rider.
Chapter 4.5: World of Selfishness, Courage and Popsicle
An hour before the attack…
Alone in a forest, the red bird-like Greeed is trying to recover from his wounds. He's still weak, just losing one of his most important Core Medals. He needs it back and he needs all-
''Figures you would be here.'' The Greeed startles as Tsukasa walks out from behind a tree with Layla beside him and Hino from behind. The Absol sniffed down the monster which was pretty easy for her.
The Greeed stands up, his body still recovering as he demands it. ''What do you want, human?''
''You're the only one of the Greeed that didn't want to fight us.'' Tsukasa questions him, fully aware that he didn't bother to fight his group back then but was waiting for an opportunity. He then pulls out Core Medals, revealing what he wanted. ''But you waited to get these, no?''
The Greeed gasps while Hino sweat drops, asking Tsukasa. ''You stole them?''
Tsukasa doesn't like stealing but if he has to; it's to give them to those that understand the value of the items. It was easy too since Eiji is a moron.
''Borrowed.'' He simply says, getting a look from Layla. He coughs as he hands them to the monster. ''Here.''
The Greeed looks at him confused but he does take the cores, absorbing them to recover faster.
''Why do you want me to have them?'' He questions, not understanding this. He and the other Greeed have caused so much destruction. Tsukasa has his reasons, not his first monster who wants to walk a different path.
''Let's just say if you want to topple over this King OOO; that might be a start.'' He proclaims, able to see that the Greeed doesn't like King OOO like a slave. Hino agrees as he then informs him. ''But you can't do it alone. Hina said there is another OOO so it's likely that OOO will need the same Core Medals that allows one to become OOO and with the right person, King OOO will be beaten.''
Tsukasa eyes him, surprised how well he assumes that even though this is all supposed to be new to him. The Greeed hums, having heard of that since King OOO used to use the OOO Driver but he discarded it before being imprisoned.
Layla suddenly sees a vision of a disaster. Immediately, she barks, warning Tsukasa of the vision. ''ABSOL!''
Tsukasa eyes her, understanding her and also not surprised either.
''Figures as much.'' He responds as he snaps his fingers. An Aurora Curtain manifests and flies in front of them and the Machine Decader is there. He rides on top of it, adjusting his helmet and goggles, ordering Hino. ''Let's go.''
Hino blinks but he doesn't question him, getting behind him and Tsukasa rides off in a hurry with Layla following right behind him. The Greeed watches them leave, wondering about his options. He doesn't wish to become OOO's pawn but… can he trust another human or will he be betrayed again. He will get his answer in that battle as he stands up and flies off to there.
''EIJI!'' Hina shouts as Birth crashes on the ground from Diend's final attack as the Birth Driver flies off his body. He reverts back with Eiji injured. She panics, rushing to his aid only for Diend to get in her way and smacks her onto the ground.
Eiji widens his eyes of fury, demanding furiously. ''Why? Why did you betray us!''
Diend turns towards him and simply snickers, replying. ''You should've listened to Tsukasa-san. I'm no hero. Just a treasure hunter.'' He searches Hina, grunting, as he takes the OOO Driver. ''And I'm taking both belts.''
''Nyan-Nyan.'' Selina purrs in a taunting way until Diend is suddenly horn-slashed by Layla. Sparks fly out from his arm as the OOO Driver falls off him. Selina panics as the Absol barks, smacking her across the face with her back paws. ''Absol!''
''NYAN!'' Selina cries out by the back paw stomp that it causes her to drop both items she's stolen and crashes on top of Diend's arms, distancing himself as the Machine Decader suddenly appears out of nowhere and Tsukasa takes a few shots from his Ride Booker which Diend takes them.
Eiji is confused as Layla looks down at him, wagging her tail, as she gives him both the OOO Driver and also the red Core Medal she snatched from her teeth.
Diend grunts, gazing at Tsukasa and sighs, telling him annoyed. ''Always the spoil sport, Tsukasa-san.'' He pulls out the Invisible Attack Ride card and loads it into his blaster. ''So long.''
''NO WAIT!'' Trying to get back up, Eiji shouts at him but it's too late as Diend vanishes along with Purrloin. Tsukasa scoffs as does Layla.
Hina groans, getting up too while Eiji slams his fists on the ground, kneeling down in defeat.
''No…'' He mutters sad before losing it as he punches his fists on the ground. ''DAMN IT!''
He feels defeated if not robbed. He thought he could trust Daiki but he was just using him. And now he lost the only means to fight and regain all that he lost. Hina looks at him, frowning as she feels just as responsible for this.
''All I wanted, all I ever desired was to-'' He begins to say in a depressing, somber tone until Tsukasa finishes his words. ''Rebuild.''
Eiji is startled as Hino arrives to watch this.
''It's fine wanting desires but sometimes it is better not letting them consume your every action.'' Tsukasa begins to tell the naïve guy, trying to regain something he can't have, reminded by his wants to have Sayo again. Ever since she died while he was a kid; he's tried to do research, dark magic, anything but none work. He couldn't get back what he lost… so he moved on for that was his only salivation. Just like Sayo told him once "A journey gives you a sense of purpose and happiness".
''One must walk the long road to find their goal, not forgetting the people that want you to succeed with your true strength.'' He then tells Eiji who eyes him, still not sure what he can achieve. ''Then what should I do?''
Tsukasa just smirks calmly, encouraging him. ''Have desires for others, not for your own needs. That way your emptiness is replaced with happiness for others. And a stronger desire to protect what matters most.''
Layla smiles that Tsukasa learned that from Natsumi.
''…'' Eiji eyes him, never thinking about it like that. He's always thinking about himself, never thinking how others feel or what they lost too, like Hina. Maybe… maybe that's why he became Birth; to help inspire new desires and-
''Touching.'' The group startles, heavily alarmed as they turn around to see King OOO walk in the room, his power trembling the whole room.
The rest of the Resistance, just regaining consciousness, immediately flee, running for their lives as none had a chance against King OOO. Tsukasa just smirks, taunting the delusional majesty. "I see you finally show up to make us tremble."
''Fool, I have already done so. I am the absolute King of all Greed, of all Desires!'' King OOO proclaims pridefully, clinching his hand towards them. ''And I will obtain it all!''
Tsukasa just scoffs, openly admitting to being irritated. ''You're the greediest person, next to Kaito, I have ever met. And that is why you will lose.'' He shows the Decadriver already on his waist as he shouts, holding up the Decade Rider Card. ''Hen-''
Layla senses something and quickly pounces on top of Tsukasa's back, pinning both on the ground as an energy shot hits where Tsukasa would have been. He startles again, looking to see a monster- no, not just a monster but a Fangire. He has a white-gray color scheme, heavily resembling a vampire with long white hair and wearing even a lab coat to his confusion.
''Ah, I missed!'' The monster mutters like a drunk, letting out loud hiccups as he flies with his two pairs of wings.
''A Fangire huh?'' Tsukasa mutters, not expecting to see one again. Hina becomes horrified, warning him. ''He's the one! He's the scientist that cause all of this!''
Figuring as much, Tsukasa stands up as he questions the monster with a finger point while Layla growls at the creature. ''So you're this Doctor Shinigami? Makes sense it was a Fangire manipulating these events.''
Chuckling while letting out some more hiccups, the Fangire scientist responds. ''You should be honored, I even presented myself. Though you were not the one I wanted to see, Decade.''
Layla raises an eyebrow while Tsukasa questions him, changing subject. ''How do we change back those you've brainwashed? I'm sure a man of your talents will gladly express his genius in how you even did it.''
"Oh? I would! But telling you would take quite too much of my previous time." Doctor Shinigami mocks the observant rider but he does humor him. ''I will say all you have to do is kill King OOO.''
As he says that, the Fangire tosses 3 unique Core Medals to King OOO who catches them.
''Remember to use those special medals I made for you.'' He advises the king before he looks at Tsukasa and tells him eagerly. ''I will enjoy experimenting on your corpse, Decade.''
The Fangire Vampire turns his head 90° degrees, literally, to spot Kiva-la, watching this before he snickers and vanishes into a swarm of bats.
Now just alone, King OOO turns towards Tsukasa who begins to shout, holding his Decade Rider Card. ''Hen-''
Immediately King OOO fires a powerful sphere Tsukasa and the others, consuming them instantly if not for Layla to use Protect, defending them with her barrier as they're pushed backwards and are blasted out of the castle to the front of the building. Zi-O just dealt with the Yummy as they crashed out of the castle. Eiji and Hina are sent one direction while Tsukasa and Layla crash into the front of the castle.
Natsumi rushes over to see Tsukasa and the others okay while Layla pants heavily, really drained. Just then King OOO summons forth the mindless green and yellow Greeeds who charge through the hole the others crash out and come at them until they're slashed apart by Dragonic's claws, destroying them.
''You okay, Tsukasa-kun?'' The dragon asks him with a small smirk.
''Nice timing, Dragonic.'' Tsukasa responds with a smirk as he pets Layla's head. "Good job, Layla."
"Absol…" She barks weakly while Natsumi pets her too as she asks. "So how did it go?"
King OOO feels their deaths and scoffs, snapping his fingers. The destroyed Yummies suddenly resurrect and turn them into their evolved forms without needing the greed of others. This shocks the group as Natsumi mutters worryingly. ''Okay, this is bad.''
Tsukasa scoffs, standing up as he taps on his Rider Card. He'll just have to deal with them first before-
Just then Hino walks up forward to Tsukasa's annoyance, causing him to question him. ''What are you doing?''
Turning to face him, Hino replies with a smile. ''Going to help. I can handle them and you go stop King OOO.''
''And how do you intend to with-'' Tsukasa then begins to demand, not seeing how he'll be able to fight the monsters but his words fly out of his mouth as a wave of flames suddenly blasting upon the Yummies.
''Who was that?!'' Natsumi utters in surprise. Hino smiles, fully aware who that was, turning and sees him. ''Ankh!''
The group turns to see a human walking forward. He looks human with his orangeish, short hair with a wavy hairstyle leaning to the right and his black, red leather jacket with a fur collared hoodie, but his right arm is a red scaled monster arm and claw, one resembling the red Greeed.
''Where were you? I don't need to be your babysitter but-'' Hino begins to question where he was as he turns around and startles as he's suckling on popsicles, 5 in total. He sweat drops, now getting it. ''Of course.''
''I was also curious if I could use the Core Medals of this world.'' Ankh explains, pulling out a blue Core Medal he found and discards it to his disappointment. "A waste of time. Doesn't work."
Hino just smiles as he admits. ''Well glad you're here, I'll need to fight them.''
Ankh agrees, gazing at all the Yummies already gathering medals in their bodies and orders him. ''Get the Cell Medals though."
Hino smirks as he straps on the OOO Driver. Ankh pulls out 3 red Core Medals and shouts at him, tossing them towards them like Frisbees. "And Eiji, use these!''
Natsumi blinks heavily by the first name. He turns and catches them, smiling as he praises his idea. ''Was thinking the same thing.''
''Eiji? He has the same name as-'' Natsumi begins to say and then gasps, realizing it. ''Does that mean!''
Tsukasa just smirks, not at all surprised as he proclaims. ''Selfless hippie. Yes, Natsumikan, it does make sense.''
Hino eyes the two and tells them with a small smile. ''It's Eiji Hino, by the way.'' He slides in two of the Cores in the far left slots of the belt and then flips the last one like a coin before thrusting it in the far right slot. ''Leave the rest to us!''
''Mainly you. Now go, Eiji!'' Ankh orders him, acting a bit nervously by his stupid coin flipping with Core Models. Eiji snickers before becoming serious, grabbing onto the O Scanner and tilting the belt. He does a dramatic pose as he slides the round device through the belt, releasing a bell-like ring through each coin while his other arm moves in an opposing, parallel motion.
"TAKA! KUJAKU! CONDOR!'' The OOO Driver chants, triggering the power of each Medal followed by an eagle screech.
''Henshin!'' Eiji shouts as he places the scanner on the center of his chest and its energy releases upon him followed by large, energy holographic forms of the 3 medal's symbols manifesting behind him and overlap each other, becoming their combination self as it shines fiery. Eiji spreads his arms as the flames wrap around him.
''TA~JA~DOL!" The OOO Driver chants as a pair of red eyes glow and waving his arms apart like a bird, Eiji transforms into OOO Tajadol Combo, flames swirling around him like majestic feathers.
''A-awesome…'' Natsumi utters speechless as well as Layla, muttering astonished. "Absol…"
The Yummies just charge at OOO who suddenly leaps up and grows peacock energy wings that he waves his arms forward and the petals all shoot upon them, becoming fireballs that explode on some of them. He soon lands on the ground as some Yummies charge head forward at them but OOO dodges around them with little movement, almost like he isn't there or like the wind. He then swings a precise punch that burns through the Yummy and then follows with a spinning kick that hits a few and the impact causes them to explode, erupting in flames.
''You should deal with the King unless you can't beat him.'' OOO advises Tsukasa as he evades the other Yummies firing different types of beam attacks. He blocks with the arm shield, manifesting a wall of flames to protect himself and the others.
Smirking at his words, Tsukasa proclaims as he stands back. ''Watch me.'' He soon runs off with Natsumi and Layla going to back him up.
OOO nods as Ankh shouts, tossing multiple Core Medals. "Eiji!" OOO flips open the shield to reveal multiple medal slots that each of the cores the Greeed tossed enter inside till the shield fills up. He then closes the lit and slides the O Scanner.
''GIGA SCAN!'' The OOO Driver announces as OOO is consumed in colorful flames so much so he pushes back the enemies' attacks and summons forth a pair of fiery bird wings. He flies up with such speed as he then fires fireballs from his shield, blasting multiple Yummies before sliding the O Scanner through his tilt belt.
''SCANNING CHARGE!'' The belt announces as OOO flies up higher before diving downward as his feet become talons, erupting in flames. He dives downward with such speed while blasting more fireballs to gather and shoot upward all of the Yummies into the air as he takes aim.
''SEIYA!'' OOO shouts, forming 3 fiery rings that he dives through and performs his Rider Kick to pierce through all of the Yummies. He then lands on the ground, his legs reverted to normal before the monsters glow and they explode in massive flames. OOO sighs as multiple Cell Medals drop like rain drops. Ankh sucks them all up with his monster arm.
Meanwhile, the other Eiji and Hina breathe heavily, sent out of the castle the other way.
"Hina… You're still with me?" He tries asking her as she grunts, nodding. "I-I'm still here."
''Worthless fools.'' The two become alarmed as King OOO emerges from the hole as he thrusts the 3 new Core Medals and erupts in malicious energy. ''Now witness the power of the Shocker Combo!''
''SHOCKER! SHOCKER! SHOCKER!'' His OOO Driver announces, transforming the king into a darker, monster version of OOO. His colors are dark golden, dark silver and dark bronze as he expels his power, launching the two away in pain.
''Now witness the power of Shocker OOO, the strongest OOO!'' He proclaims proudly, planning to make these as an example of his power. Hina is too injured to move but Eiji stands up, using his body as a shield to protect her. King OOO scoffs, firing a dark sphere to put an end to him. Hina panics in horror, trying to push Eiji away but he refuses to budge. He can't; he can't make the same mistake again.
The sphere is about to hit him until a fireball intercepts and explodes, redirecting the dark sphere upward as it then explodes. Eiji and Hina are shocked while King OOO growls, gazing towards the red Greeed who saved them now standing beside the humans.
''Y-you!'' Eiji utters in confusion. ''Why?'' He doesn't understand; why would this Greeed help him.
He looks at him, breathing heavily before he questions him. ''You're willing to protect another with no powers. Why?''
Eiji stares at the monster puzzled, at first questioning him WTF does he mean but… swallowing his hate for the Greeed for a moment, he replies honestly. ''… I have nothing but emptiness in my very core and want to fill it up with happiness, even if my reasons were selfish and it cost us everything.''
He's then reminded by Tsukasa's words and expresses humbly, looking towards Hina. ''But I want to change that, to fight for the happiness of others. That includes Hina's happiness for a better world!''
Hina is speechless, blushing as Eiji never said such nice words before. The Greeed is silent by them before he breaks the silence and asks him. ''And if you fail?''
''Then I fail with a desire that isn't about me!'' Eiji declares with a determined gaze, not going back on his word. ''That's how I want to fight now!''
The Greeed hums, bending down and picks up the fossilized OOO Driver that fell off in the explosion. He then tells him, holding it towards him. ''Place the driver on your waist and see if your desire surpasses King's.''
''Why?'' Eiji questions him, not understanding him. Even the Greeed doesn't understand himself right now but for the first time since serving under King OOO like a slave who can't even follow his own desires; this feels right.
''That is my desire.'' He responds, wanting this. Eiji eyes him, not sure how to feel either… but… maybe…
"Like I'll-" King OOO proclaims, not going to allow this as he prepares to fire a sphere until a barrage of shots hit him by surprise. Tsukasa, wielding the Ride Booker gun form, barely arrives with Natsumi and Layla behind him.
"Do it now, idiot!" Tsukasa orders him annoyed, continuing in firing more shots at the stunned king. Eiji panics and nods, grabbing off the Greeed and slams it on his front waist. Suddenly the ancient device glows and begins de-aged, reverting back to the original state of the belt.
''It worked!'' Natsumi expresses smiling. Hina is speechless as the Greeed then tells him, tossing him both a red, yellow and green Core Medals. ''Go on. Show me that desire.''
Eiji sees them and catches all 3 with a swipe of his hand. He eyes them and nods, sliding them into the slots of the belt. He pulls out the scanner as well as tilt the belt and slides it through the belt.
''TAKA! TORA! BATTA!'' The OOO Driver announces as Eiji shouts, holding the scanner to his chest. ''Henshin!''
The belt and device both glow and begin to transform him.
''TATOBA! TA~TO~BA, TATOBA!'' The OOO Driver chants as all 3 symbols appear behind him and overlap each other, completely transforming Eiji into OOO.
''Eiji…'' Hina utters astonished. The Greeed nods, having made the right choice with him.
King OOO breathes with such rage, gazing at the human who transformed into another OOO.
''You dare become OOO. How can this be?!'' He demands furious and insulted by this.
Scoffing as he twirls his gun before putting it away, Tsukasa begins to tell him. ''It's because his desires are not about himself; it's about everyone around him.''
He eyes OOO as well as the red Greeed and resumes saying with a small smirk. ''Having greed isn't a bad thing when it's for others and he is for that now; to change himself and fight for something more than himself. Meanwhile, the monster you look down is able to experience something he wants, following it without losing himself.''
Tsukasa then points his finger at King OOO and mocks him with the last of his speech. ''A true King fights for the wishes and dreams of others. Someone like you who sold your soul for power and your selfish actions will be your own destruction and will fall here.''
''You dare, pest!'' Enraged by this human's words, King OOO loses his calm attitude and shouts angrily. ''Just who the hell are you?!''
''A passing-through Kamen Rider!" Tsukasa responds with a smirk, strapping on the Decadriver and tapping on his Rider Card. ''Remember it! Henshin!''
He thrusts the card in and pushes the levers forward.
''KAMEN RIDE! DECADE!'' The Decadriver announces, transforming Tsukasa into Decade once more.
Growling furiously, King OOO releases dark waves of his power across the area, shattering the ground partly.
''WITH ALL THE CORE MEDALS AND THE SHOCKER MEDALS!'' King OOO begins to shout as he comes dashing at the two with great force. ''I CANNOT LOSE-'' Immediately his words are cut short by a double fisted punch across the helmet mask by Decade and OOO. He gasps as they follow it with a swift stomp kick, slamming the dark Rider backwards.
King OOO brushes off the attack as he comes at them again, wielding the Medajaribur and swings black energy slashes that both riders dodge around before leaping at both his sides and performing a combination of kicks and punches, sending King OOO backwards.
''You talk too much for a losing King.'' Decade proclaims, wiping his hands together. OOO nods as he asks for Decade's trust. ''Lend me your strength, Tsukasa! I-I want to protect everyone's wishes!''
In response, the Ride Booker glows and shoots out a few cards that Decade catches, getting the gist of what he has to do.
''Let's.'' Decade responds, tapping on the card that will bring them victory and thrust it into the card slot of his belt, pushing its levers.
''FINAL FORM RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade gets behind OOO and advises him. ''This might tickle.''
OOO doesn't follow but it's too late as Decade shoves both hands behind his back. He gasps as his body glows and begins to split apart. OOO soon becomes 3 large Core Medal pieces, based on the Tatoba Combo, that slams themselves upon Decade's body like armor, combining the Tatoba Combo with Decade's, gaining a magenta color too. He gains OOO's legs with sharp, pinch hopper-like ankles, the yellow gauntlets with bladed tiger wrist blades and red, sharper shoulders as his mask helmet gains feather-like ends and a pair of glowing red energy eagle-like wings on his back. He also gains a combination of the Tatoba chest plate along with his Decade symbol, completing the form. ''O-O-OOO!''
King OOO is speechless as is Hina. The red Greeed finds this interesting.
''Awesome, Tsukasa-kun!'' Natsumi shouts smiling while Layla barks, smiling too. ''Absol!''
Clenching his fists, King OOO proceeds to fire black spheres of energy at Decade which would never touch him as the wings flap and release a wave of intense flames, burning the spheres away.
''THIS CANNOT BE POSSIBLE!'' He shouts furiously, swinging with his sword more energy waves that Decade slashes apart with his razor wrist blade claws. He then dashes forward with such speed that he's already kicking King OOO onto a wall, pinning him and then delivers a barrage of striking kicks. The pressure of each kick is enough to blast the dark rider through the wall he was pinned and crashes into a building.
Everyone watches as the building glows and explodes with King OOO roaring in furious rage.
''I-I AM THE STRONGEST!'' He yells out like a crazy man, leaping forward only to get uppercut by Decade, proclaiming firmly. ''Then you might hate getting dethroned.'' The punch sends him flying up as Decade follows suit, slamming him around with his speed and force until he's above him.
Tossing a Rider Card, Decade soon dives towards King OOO as the Decadriver announces. ''FINAL ATTACK RIDE!''
The 3 symbols of Tatoba manifests in front of him and merge, becoming a magenta colored version of their combined symbols just as Decade passes through the seal, after performing a somersault and into a Rider Kick, and it erupts in red, yellow, green and magenta colored energies. His speed also triples as he's now kicking directly upon King OOO's chest with all of his power. ''OOO!''
King OOO can only grunt in agony, his body shaking by the mere force of this Rider Kick so much so that his chest plate starts cracking. He panics, trying to push forward but the kick simply kicks him back even harder that he's plumbing to the ground. He can't stop this as his body starts cracking too.
''THIS IS NOT-'' King OOO tries screaming out only for his body to fail him and Decade pushes one more time, kicking right through him. Decade lands on the ground as King OOO screams and explodes in a violent explosion, destroying him.
Wiping his hands together, Decade glows and OOO reforms, panting heavily.
''Not bad, Eiji.'' Decade praises him, startling the rider and snickers. ''… Thank you.'' He thanks him for everything.
Watching from afar, Doctor Shinigami lets out a sigh of disappointment. "What a letdown."
"But it was fun right?" Kiva-la, hovering around him, asks eagerly. The Fangire just chuckles, admitting it was. He eyes Natsumi from afar and tells the bat as he walks away. "Make sure she's safe. Understand?"
"Of course~" Kiva-la responds, loyal to her and her creator. "That's why I was programmed to do after all." She soon flies off, giggling.
It's finally over. Humanity celebrated the defeat of King OOO, coming out from their holes. Those brainwashed and under King OOO's rule were freed as soon as he was destroyed. Now it was time to rebuild their world.
''What about him?'' Tsukasa asks about the Greeed. Eiji hums, not wanting to hurt him. Hina isn't sure but since King OOO perished, the remaining Greeed were sighted and fleeing, no doubt wanting revenge or their turn to conquer the planet.
She then offers the monster a truce. ''We'll give you all the cores we find but you'll still fight beside us?''
''… Deal.'' The Greeed accepts. Eiji smirks, raising his hand to the monster who looks at him puzzled.
''Eiji, and you?'' He introduces himself, wanting to shake his hand. The Greeed still looks but ultimately reaches out and shakes his hand. ''… Ankh.''
Hina smiles, never seeing Eiji like this but… it suits him a lot more.
Tsukasa just smirks silently as he holds his camera and takes a photo of the moment: The day a bond is formed.
He and the others walk away, having done their job.
''At the least Eiji and Hina can rebuild their world, protecting the desires of everyone with their new friend.'' Natsumi expresses with a smile.
''Eiji would make a fine King of this world.'' Sougo expresses with a small smile too. Tsukasa just scoffs as he says. ''Too cheesy for my taste.''
''I actually like it.'' The group blinks as they turn and the other Eiji is behind them with his Ankh suckling on another popsicle.
''Of course you would.'' Tsukasa responds as he questions him. ''You knew things could have gone badly but you still took on the risk, Hippie.''
''I'm just like that. I… I want to protect everyone's desires too.'' Eiji openly admits with a smile. Ankh just scoffs as he warns him. ''It's going to get you killed.'' Even making a face of concern when he said that.
Eiji eyes his friend and just smiles, aware of the risk but he doesn't mind it, replying. ''Maybe, but I'll try not to die either.'' He then eyes Tsukasa. "Well, except today."
"Point still made, moron." Ankh tells him with a glare.
Tsukasa sighs, figuring as much. "Of course you would do this too."
Eiji nods as he explains. ''I rather avoid it but this person asked of me to fight you, Tsukasa.''
''… Fine, I accept, Hippie.'' Tsukasa declares, not having a choice. If this is his intention, then he'll have to play along.
Natsumi frowns as the two move away from the others to an open space for their showdown as Sunset is happening.
''Ankh, if I die-'' Eiji begins to tell the Greeed, fully aware of what will happen but he tells him off. ''Just fight and we'll worry about that later.'' He scoffs as he warns him, tossing him 3 Core Medals. ''Eiji, don't disappoint.''
Smiling, Eiji catches the medals and slides them into his OOO Driver already on his waist. Tsukasa smirks as he pulls out a Rider Card with his Decadriver already on, sliding the card in it.
''KAMEN RIDE!'' The Decadriver proclaims as Eiji slides the O Scanner through his tilted belt, announcing. ''TAKA! TORA! BATTA!''
Both Riders lock eyes and soon shout out. ''Henshin!''
''DECADE!'' The Decadriver announces as Tsukasa transforms into Decade, wiping his hands together.
''TATOBA! TA~TO~BA, TATOBA!'' The OOO Driver announces in a chant as Eiji transforms into OOO, posing in a pose with his right arm raised over his head and the other on his center.
The two Riders just stand there, waiting for the moment. The sun slowly sets as night falls, the two charge forward. They swing and clash their fists, sparks flying out between them. They then back away and perform a kick, clashing once more. They're pushed back as OOO wields his Medajaribur as he slides in 3 Cell Medals. He then scans the sword with the O Scanner as the OOO Driver announces. ''TRIPLE SCANNING CHARGE!''
He takes aim at Decade and swings forward. Decade times it and dodges the slash as it cuts through the fabric of reality itself before it restores itself. This shocks Decade, realizing his opponent is no pushover as he wields the Ride Booker sword form and thrusts a card into his belt.
''ATTACK RIDE! SLASH!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade swings a magenta energy slash that OOO blocks with his sword, pushing him backwards but holding his ground before slashing through the wave. OOO soon charges back as does Decade, clashing sword swings against the other with striking blows before their clashing swing pushes both back.
Tossing his sword aside, OOO then tilts his belt and slides the O Scanner through the belt.
''SCANNING CHARGE!'' The OOO Driver announces as OOO's legs become like a pinch hooper's and he leaps upward. Decade scoffs as he thrusts a Rider Card and changes the Ride Booker in gun form.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade takes aim at OOO who performs a Rider Kick as the back of his helmet becomes fiery wings and his wrist claws open up. Decade immediately fires a magenta energy shot as holographic cards form in his view. ''DECADE!''
OOO still dives downward as 3 large rings form, passing through them and increasing his power. The energy shot and kick clash, creating a colliding stream of energy before it explodes. OOO yells out, crashing and rolling on the ground as he grunts. Decade scoffs, twirling his gun.
''Geez, this guy is strong.'' OOO admits, not expecting how strong he is.
''EIJI!'' OOO turns as Ankh tosses him 2 green Core Medals. He catches them and nods, swapping both the Red and Yellow Core Medals in his belt with the 2 new ones and scans them with his scanner.
"KUWAGATA! KAMAKIRI! BATTA!'' The OOO Driver announces followed by a Buzz sound. The 3 symbols of the coins appear behind and overlap, combining as OOO glows.
''GA~TA GATA-GATA-KIRIBA! GATAKIRIBA!" The driver then chants as OOO transforms into a green, bug-like form with red visor eyes. He lets out a shout as he suddenly multiples into 4.
''Oh? Not bad but I can do that too.'' Decade proclaims, pulling out a Rider Card and taps on it twice before thrusting it in his belt.
''ATTACK RIDE! ILLUSION!'' The Decadriver announces as he multiplies into 4 more of him, each one wielding their own Ride Booker.
"Really huh?" OOO says in a somewhat taunting voice as each one of him glow and they multiple into 5 more, becoming 25. "I can do it more."
This causes Natsumi and Layla to panic. All of the OOOs charge forward as the Decade copies take aim and fire a barrage of energy shots. The OOOs get blasted and destroyed but he just makes more of him over and over into hundreds. Decade scoffs as he and his copies fire a stronger destructive energy shot that consumes the area and destroys the copies as OOO crashes hard.
Snarling, Ankh pulls out 2 yellow Core Medals and tosses them towards him.
''Use these!'' He shouts as OOO turns and catches them. He nods as he replaces all 3 Cores with 3 Yellow medals as he scans them.
"LION! TORA! CHEETAH!'' The OOO Driver announces as it follows with a roar cry. He then places the scanner to his chest as his body glows and the 3 symbols of the coins appear behind and overlap, combing.
''LA-TA LA-TA, LA-TORA~~TAR!" The driver chants as OOO transforms into a yellow lion-like form with blue eyes. He bends his leg forward and charges forward, moving at the speed of light that the ground and his surroundings ignite in flames.
OOO blitzes through Decade and his copies, slashing them with his wrist claws. Each copy gets destroyed as Decade takes multiple sparks, over and over. He can't even move or fire with his gun. He grunts as he quickly dunks a card into his belt.
''ATTACK RIDE! BARRIER!'' The Decadriver announces as OOO comes swinging a U-turn claw swing only for a barrier to manifest around Decade and blocks it as well as stunning him due to his impact. This is enough for Decade to switch the Ride Booker in sword form and as the barrier vanishes, he swings and slashes OOO across the chest. Sparks fly out as the rider is launched backwards and hits onto a wall.
Ankh scoffs again, pulling out 3 blue Core Medals and tosses them. OOO sees them and he catches them, still stuck on the wall as he thrusts all 3 into his belt and scans them.
"SHACHI! UNAGI! TAKO!'' The OOO Driver announces, followed by the sound of a splash, as the 3 symbols of the coin appear and overlap behind him, combining his body glows. ''SHA-SHA-SHAUTA, SHA-SHA-SHAUTA!" OOO's body transforms into a blue fish-like form with yellow visor eyes. He then becomes water and blasts out of the wall and hits Decade backwards. He stands his ground as OOO reforms and summons whip arms, thrusting them towards Decade who rolls out the way, over and over, as OOO continues whipping at him.
Quickly pulling out a Rider Card, Decade thrusts a card into his belt as he dodges another whip.
''ATTACK RIDE! INVISIBLE!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade turns invisible as OOO leashes his whips at them and panics. He looks around, not able to see him.
"Idiot! Spin around with the whips to-" Ankh begins advising him loudly until the voice of the Decadriver announces. ''KAMEN RIDE! HIBIKI!'' Just then OOO is kicked into the air and then grabbed by his invisible enemy and tossed onto the ground. Decade becomes visible, now turned into Hibiki, as he tosses a card into his belt.
''ATTACK RIDE! ONIBI!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade-Hibiki unleashes a mouth fire breathe upon OOO, burning him in purple flames before he rolls away
Grunting, Ankh pulls out 3 Silver Core Medals and tosses them towards OOO who leaps up and catches them. He quickly thrusts them into the belt and scans through them.
"SAI! GORILLA! ZOU!'' The OOO Driver announces followed by the sound of a dull thud sound. The 3 symbols of the medals manifest behind him as they overlap and combine.
''SAGOHZO... '' The OOO Driver chants as drum beats are heard and OOO transforms. He crashes onto the ground, releasing a shockwave that stuns everyone. ''SAGOHZO!" Letting out a loud shout, OOO emerges out now a bulky, silver colored Kong/gorilla form with red visor eyes. He starts beating his bulky armored gauntlets like a gorilla, releasing strong vibrating sounds.
Decade-Hibiki already could tell attacking him head on is a dead sentence so he tosses a card into his belt, pushing the levers.
''ATTACK RIDE! ONGEKIBOU REKKA!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade-Hibiki wields the drumstick weapons. Their tips ignite in flames before he swings them at OOO and the flames shoot out like firewalls. OOO just stands his ground and continues pounding on his chest so much so that the fireballs dissolve by the strong gravity and then Decade is suddenly pulled towards by the same gravity. He panics as he tries pushing a card into his belt.
''SUPER FORM RIDE! HIBIKI KURENAI!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade-Hibiki is consumed in crimson flames. OOO sees this as the flames enlarge and don't dissolve as Decade uses the gravitational pull to tackle him, fully transformed into Hibiki's super form. He then swings both fiery drumstick weapons and actually slashes through the heavily defensive form, causing the rider to erupt in flames. OOO screams out in agony as Decade-Hibiki continues slashing him.
Ankh sees this in a panic, pulling out his 3 Core Medals and about to toss them until he sees a purple glow in OOO's visors.
''Please…'' Uttering out, OOO shouts as his bug mask visors turn purple. ''Lend me your power!''
Just then 3 purple Core Medals shoot out of his chest, striking Decade-Hibiki who pulls away. The flames are blown away as the medals slide into the belt and even tilt it. OOO grabs onto the O Scanner and swipes it over his belt as the belt announces. "PTERA! TRICERA! TYRANNO!'' A loud screech is heard as OOO begins to glow in purple energy, cracking the down beneath him.
''PU-TO-TYRANNOSAURUS!" The OOO Driver chants as a pair of dinosaur-like wings wrap around OOO and ice covers him until it shatters to reveal the rider fully transformed into a purple dinosaur theme with white under tights than black and green visor bug eyes. He spreads himself and begins to shout like a primal roar, posing like a wild creature in rage and fury as he releases purple waves of destructive power.
Decade-Hibiki braces himself just barely as OOO is now behind him. He panics, swinging one of the fiery drumstick weapons which OOO catches with his bare hand and freezes it as well as the flames solid, shattering them. OOO then roars, delivering a direct punch so hard it knocks Decade out of his form and slams him through multiple buildings.
OOO roars once more as he flies after him with his growing wings from his back helmet, flying at him with vicious speed. He kicks him upward and then shoots out yellow, extending stingers that stab onto Decade and begins to freeze him.
''Guess this beast needs to be tamed.'' Snickering as this fight will require more power, Decade quickly straps on the K-Touch and switches the Decadriver with it.
"KUUGA, AGITO, RYUKI, FAIZ, BLADE, HIBIKI, KABUTO, DEN-O, KIVA!'' The K-Touch announces one by one of each main rider's names as their logos glow until they all flash, including the Decade one. Decade then presses on the F letter on the screen. ''FINAL KAMEN RIDE!''
Energy builds up and repels the stringers off him as Decade lands and fully transforms. ''DECADE! COMPLETE!'' Decade Complete walks forward as OOO dives downward with a spin, thrusting his tail at him. Decade Complete looks up and immediately kicks the tail coming at him so hard it sends OOO flying backwards by the sheer impact.
Decade then tosses a card upward as it lands and slides into the Decadriver, tapping on it.
''FINAL KAMEN RIDE!'' It announces as Decade wipes his hands together and transforms into Hibiki's final form. ''ARMED HIBIKI!''
OOO regains control in the air, roaring as he flies forward only to suddenly get an axe kick by Decade-Hibiki who suddenly leaps so much faster than OOO's speed and slams him onto the ground. He lands on the ground as he shoves his hand into it and pulls out a purple ax/bazooka-hybrid weapon, the Medagabryu.
"Oh? We're finishing now?" Decade asks in a taunt as OOO holds up his axe. Suddenly piles of Cell Medals fly from all over the world and are absorbed into the weapon.
"This is my final attack!" OOO shouts as his wings flap and he leaps forward, charging right at Decade.
Acknowledging his strength, Decade thrusts a card into his belt as he wields Hibiki's Ongekizofukuken Armed Saber with both hands.
"FINAL ATTACK RIDE!" The Decadriver announces while the OOO Driver shouts as OOO swings a fierce slash forward at Decade. ''PUTOTYRANNO FINISHER!''
''HIBIKI!'' As the blade erupts in intense flames, the Decadriver announces as Decade-Hibiki swings the sword forward too.
Their weapons clash and seemingly pass through the other. Decade holds his ground, breathing while OOO does the same until he gasps and his transformation shatters. Eiji soon falls forward, defeated.
Ankh stares silent but he just smirks as his body begins to dissolve.
''I-Idiot…'' He mutters, rather happy before his body completely shatters and fades away.
The same is happening to Eiji who looks up at the sky, wondering… if this is his time now. Maybe now… he can apologize to the little girl he failed. Maybe now, he can be forgiven.
''I… I guess now… I can finally rest.'' He openly admits, accepting this until Tsukasa tells him off seriously. ''Enjoy it because I'm pulling you two out!''
Startled by his words, Eiji smiles as he asks of him while his body completely dissolves. ''Beat Dark Decade, Tsukasa.'' His body soon becomes sparks of light that fade away with the last of his words. ''Don't let another world lose their wishes…''
Looking up at the fading lights, Tsukasa can only tell him with a humble voice. ''I won't, Eiji.'' He clenches his fists, not going to fail him. ''I won't.''
Natsumi frowns, feeling for him as does the others… except Sougo who stares fixated. "2 worlds down…"
Author's Note: Time to clarify things:
1) This is now full on Fanfic territory, using elements from the Decade series from the TV Series, Movies and even Novels (which I already used so yea).
2) I am borrowing stuff from the S.I.C. Hero Saga of Decade in the A.R. World of OOO… as well as OOO's 10 Anniversary Movie… which I'm going to rant a bit about.
3) Before someone asks, yes, A.R. Eiji is a combo of Eiji, Date and Goto while A.R. Hina is a combo of Hina and Erika. YEA…. A.R. Worlds sometimes do these combos like the A.R. World of Agito and Kiva. Might happen again hmm?
4) … SIGH… I miss Eiji. What? I mean yea, real Eiji Hino and Ankh came to help… and then the fight. Was happy about this... SIGH.
5) And the introduction of Doctor Shinigami? Who the fuck is this guy? HMM… The name should be enough for those who have seen the Decade Movie: Riders vs Dai-Shocker and the DecadexW Crossover Movie. I won't spoil who he REALLY is… yet, but those who did watch the movies and know who this character is, keep it a secret for now. ;)
6) ... Now the rant I've been holding back… I'm going to be straight: I was SO hyped to learn that OOO is getting this big 10 Year Anniversary that will be the final chapter of the OOO series. I was SO hyped… and I died when I saw it. It is a mix bag, it's not as shitty as Decade VS Zi-O… or Zi-O VS Decade (I will rant about this one in due DAMN time). SPOILER… THEY DON'T FIGHT! Well… they do but not the way you were expecting it and it was shit.
The OOO's movie… a little bit but a mix of "Fuck off". I WILL NOT SPOIL THIS. I will simply say it had an interesting concept and… the reason why Ankh came back was nice. But everything else… especially the reason WHY Ankh came back feels so… unnecessary or rather heartbreaking. It's like with FMA if the only way Alphonse comes back is if Edward kills himself. HE WOULD but thank god it didn't come down to that. I'm just saying… this was not worth it. I watched and finished OOO like more or less 2 years ago. I CAN'T IMAGINE the pain those who watched OOO 10 YEARS AGO must have felt with this movie's conclusion! Just fucking depressing! SIGH.. Just depressing. How come FUCKING GHOST GETS A FUCKING HAPPY ENDING?! WTF IS THIS? 5D'S, ARC-V AND VRAINS' SAD ENDINGS WHILE ZEXAL GETS THE HAPPY ENDING?! This is as depressing as Gurren Lagann's ending! HOW DO YOU MANAGE IT?! WHY?!
AND YES, KAMEN RIDER IS DEPRESSING but like... not always. Not always. SIGH... This hit me hard.
… This… this still makes me mad that, SPOILERS, I will do something with OOO in Dragon Knight Reborn. Expect that in Volume 7.
Overall thoughts… A.R. World of OOO was good. I had fun.
