Chapter 6: World of Occult Despair

Sitting on his throne chair within the glorious dark base of his world, the Great Leader steeps his fingertips together firmly yet showing signs of impatience. His Decadriver was slightly damaged by how much it overloaded with the power he took from that rider. The power was amazing but he overestimated how much he could contain it, especially in his clash against Decade.

Relaxing, he speaks up firmly. ''How's the progress, doctor?''

Walking forward was not Doctor Shinigami but Apollogeist, apologizing to him. ''Forgive me to appear when you called the doctor. He asked me to inform you that the repairs and the device should be done soon, Great Leader.'' He holds up a holographic of his Decadriver getting the repairs but also a device that resembles the K-Touch still 50% completed.

He gazes at his second-in-command, not upset towards him but the doctor's lack of telling this himself.

''The doctor is in the world the so-called Destroyer and his friends are at?'' Apollogeist further informs him where the doctor went. Smirking now that he realizes what he's doing, the Great Leader proclaims sternly. ''Let him have his fun.''

He soon stands up, adjusting his outfit before he announces proudly. ''Once I have all the powers I need, I will become stronger than the Destroyer and all Riders…'' He then curls his lips into a smirk. ''Including you, Demon King.''

Apollogeist bows to his leader's greatness.

''So where are we now, Dragonic-kun?'' Tsukasa asks, biting on a sandwich that he, Natsumi and Sougo are eating while Layla is eating an apple and Jiggly is biting on small berries.

Dragonic, eating a rice ball, points with his left index claw towards the backdrop of the café. It shows the image of a hand moving upward, showing a kind of strange ring and some kind of mechanical dragon soaring in the sky.

''This is the A.R. World of Wizard, a Kamen Rider who uses magic to fight despair!'' The dragon reveals to the group and Tsukasa immediately concludes. ''So Harry Potter?''

Natsumi gasps excitedly, showing her inner HP Fangirl by pulling out the Philosopher's Stone book.

''NO, NOT LIKE THAT!'' Dragonic barks angrily at that misunderstanding before he sweat drops, thinking twice and soon growls. ''Never mind, this A.R. World is almost Harry Potter.''

The group finally leaves Hikari Studio and once they step outside; they're surprised to be in some kind of small town where the center is a large, ancient-like castle which so happens to be a school with formal, uniformed children running inside.

''Anyway, welcome to Miracle Mana School of Wizardry!'' Dragonic announces to the group with a small smirk.

''That is actually its name?!'' Natsumi utters in shock. Even though Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is also a pretty long name; it feels more original and not well boring compared to this one.

Snickering, Tsukasa proclaims with a smirk with his arms crossed. ''Even Natsumikan finds it ridiculous.''

''More like well bland and simple than something crazy yet magical.'' Natsumi corrects him as she asks him, looking at him. ''What would you call it?''

Tsukasa hums for a moment, crossing his arms before he bluntly responds. ''Something interesting to fit the theme. Can't think of one though.''

Natsumi nods, feeling the same. Surely there's a better name for this awesome place. She then notices that Tsukasa is now wearing a business-like vest outfit like the one the Doctor would wear but with a long black coat, resembling a professor's one from Harry Potter.

''Tsukasa-kun is a professor here?'' Natsumi guesses, humming as the outfit looks good on him. Tsukasa realizes it, checking himself out and actually smiles, liking it. ''Seemingly. Not bad.''

Natsumi actually sweat drops, asking him worryingly. ''Um you sure?''

''Why?'' Tsukasa questions, raising an eyebrow. Natsumi gives him an innocent look as she tells him honestly with both hands crossed behind her back. ''You don't seem the type to believe in magic is all.''

''Absol!'' Layla barks in agreement to Tsukasa's annoyance, glaring at the dog before he corrects Natsumi. ''Well you're not completely wrong. I can accept the idea that magic can exist but I don't need it or want it. That's how cool I am.''

Natsumi sweat drops again, pretty sure that's not cool. Dragonic face palms though, finding that logic stupid.

Tsukasa walks forward towards the school, no doubt the threat to this world will there and-

He suddenly finds himself bumping into someone out of nowhere which causes Tsukasa to call out the person in front of him, annoyed. ''Do you mind?''

The person turns around to reveal to be a young man, wearing a black leather, hoodie jacket with a mixed color pattern under shirt, mainly pink, with pink leather pants and black boots. He has on a strange red ring on his left hand and a strange silver chain on his left side of his waist, having other colorful rings.

''Sorry.'' He apologizes, taking a bite on a plain sugar doughnut, carefree to Tsukasa's irritation. Layla, Jiggly and even Dragonic all stare hungrily at the doughnut he's eating. The stranger sees their faces and smiles, pulling out a bag of doughnuts and hands it to Natsumi. "Here, miss. They taste good."

"T-thank you!" Natsumi utters with a bright cheek face, finding him so hot. Now Tsukasa is getting madder to Sougo's amazement.

''I was overhearing your conversation and I believe magic inspires Hope and as long as that is true, the students have something to believe in.'' He begins to tell his opinion to Tsukasa who raises an eyebrow. Hope huh? That's a rather unique way to view that. Most would say "believe in magic" but that's as dumb and cliché.

''Also, Hope Academy of Magic and Wizardry is a better name.'' He also says with a small smirk. That… impressed Tsukasa, thinking he was just a guy with a pretty face.

''Oh? Well look at you, um…'' Tsukasa begins to say but staggers as he can't find the right word to call this guy. ''Hip… Em…'' He then snaps his fingers, figuring out a good name. ''Bad boy!''

The guy raises an eyebrow before he smirks, correcting him. ''Not exactly. I'm a Wizard.'' He bites on his doughnut before he walks towards the school.

Tsukasa is flabbergasted. Wizard? Now he's trying to be cool with that name.

''He looks so hot.'' Natsumi openly admits as well as Layla, wishing she was human. ''Absol-Absol!''

"Jiggly-Jiggly." Jigglypuff also cries out, wanting the same thing or singing to him. Even Kiva-la coos excitedly. "He's such a man, smooch~!"

Tsukasa glares at them, irritated that they think he's more handsome than yours truly.

''You should, you know; get going?'' Sougo reminds him of the mission here with Tsukasa responding still mad. ''Yea… I get the gist.''

He adjusts his coat and marches forward with the others following right behind with Dragonic munching on a doughnut. The group is unaware on top of the school building that Doctor Shinigami is observing them. He notices only Kiva-la looks at him, winking before flying above Natsumi.

''Ah so Decade is here already hehe.'' The Fangire proclaims with such eagerness. He isn't alone as another figure is behind him and asks. ''Shall we kill him?''

Doctor Shinigami snickers, responding. ''Let him play along, it's already too late for him to stop us.''

The group are now inside of the large castle school, seeing stuff like floating decorations that students are placing, waving their hand that each has a similar ring to that of the other guy. They can also see students practicing magical elements, using the same rings or creating portals that pull cute animals out of them.

''So this place teaches magic to those with potential to become mages.'' Tsukasa asks Sougo who asks around, confirming their suspicions about this place. He smiles, also responding. ''Very Harry Potter.'' He is then curious, asking Tsukasa. ''By the way, do you happen to like-''

''Yea.'' Tsukasa interrupts him, already assuming if he's read the books and he has. "The movies were fine too but the books had a better pace."

Natsumi is shocked that Tsukasa is a fan too. Oh she wished she knew that sooner; they could do a marathon of the series.

''I just loathe the majority of its fanfics, especially the stupid ones to make Harry evil or turning him into the Joker or whatever new nonsense.'' Tsukasa, however, reveals his dislike of all the fanfictions out there that would turn the main protagonist evil just because. Just like the evil Superman trope.

''Just as bad as Evangelion fanfics.'' Dragonic also adds, frowning. Tsukasa oddly cracks a smirk with Natsumi and Layla, puzzled.

''Could we stay focus at the task at hand?'' Sougo asks them as he walks up and informs them of what else he also learned. ''So apparently Phantoms have been appearing lately.''

''Phantoms?'' Tsukasa questions with Dragonic explaining this part. ''They're the monsters of this world who emerge from the despair of anyone.''

''Wait, all of us too?'' Natsumi asks, very alarmed, touching her chest as she imagines a monster literally ripping out of her. Her face turns pale, hoping that's not the case.

"Well of course, it-" Beginning to explain, Dragonic oddly stops to everyone's surprise. Tsukasa looks at him, seeing his eyes are covered by his fedora. Tsukasa can tell that he's… recalling something and he hates it with the scowl across his face.

''… Despair exists in each one of us. It feeds on our happiness, sadness, joy, rage; anything to let it grow and become a ticking time bomb that will kill not just you but your mind and soul; swallowing you into its empty, endless void.'' Dragonic resumes speaking with a somber, almost sadden voice as if he was preaching a poem. ''When we let it drown us, we die and the Phantom is born through our pain thus Phantom Pain.''

Natsumi stares speechless, finding what he said as depressing yet incredible. Tsukasa, however, knows well that he didn't say that for the drama.

Adjusting his fedora, Dragonic now explains with his more upbeat tone. ''Anyway, Phantoms are not an essence of the user and said Phantom takes the body, memories and thoughts of those that die for their birth. Of course, there was other ways for a Phantom to also manifest too.''

That last bit caused Tsukasa to hum.

''That's frightening.'' Natsumi comments. The purple dragon nods as he then tells her. ''The Mages of this world had their Phantoms conquer, allowing them to access Magic.''

''Why do all monsters connect to humanity in one way or another?'' Tsukasa questions, finding it ridiculous that out of everyone but the Oni Riders, sort of, that their powers are related or connected to the monsters of their world. He shakes his head, overthinking something unnecessary as he instead asks Dragonic. ''And how do you know so much about Despair?''

''…'' The dragon doesn't answer as his red eyes stare at the empty void… seeing his figure and his demonic moth wings, followed by his cruel, inhumane laughter. He scowls his mount, hating him so much.

''Dragonic, I'm asking you-'' Tsukasa begins to demand only to get interrupted by a commotion of a boy yelping.

''You're needed, Tsukasa-kun.'' Dragonic suddenly utters, adjusting himself as he flies up to not be close to the group. Tsukasa scoffs as he approaches the kids, clearly seeing that they're bullying a little kid.

''Come on Haruto; use your magic if you even have any, scaredy cat!'' The seemingly leader of the group demands a little boy, shoved onto the ground. He grunts, standing back up only for the same bully to push him back harder, making him groan more.

A girl of the same age as the kid being picked up pushes the bigger kid away, telling him off upset. ''Leave him alone! Haruto doesn't need to prove a thing.''

''Nobody asked you!'' The bully yells at her, about to push her back but then Tsukasa immediately steps in between them and takes the impact, easily holding his ground without even flinching.

''Hey.'' He utters out coldly with the other kids freaking out. ''It's the new professor!''

Coughing to clear his throat, Tsukasa begins saying as he's borrowing a quote. "You are here to learn the subtle science and exact art of potion-making. As there is little foolish wand-waving here, many of you will hardly believe this is magic."

Natsumi gasps excitedly. He did read the books and movies and now he's quoting his lines too! Dragonic, though, sweat drops as that line isn't exactly bad but poorly translated for this world.

''Wands?'' One of the kids mutters confused while the bully laughs at it. ''That's so old and lame! We use magic rings!''

''…'' Having an awkward silence, Tsukasa immediately threatens them with a vicious glare. ''Get the hell out of my sight.''

Immediately the kids, including the bully, all panic in horror before running away for their lives. Dragonic nods, approving that. Very Snape-like.

''Thank you, sir!'' Tsukasa turns to the little girl picking up her friend, smiling for his help. He smiles back as he corrects her, lifting a finger up. ''No. Professor… Kadoya, to you.''

The others sweat drop with Natsumi muttering with concern. ''Eh, here he goes.'' Layla shakes her head that his ego is that massive.

Tsukasa eyes the boy, looking down depressed before he asks the girl. ''Why were they picking on your friend?''

The girl frowns as he's a professor; he might help so she tells him. ''Haruto lacks the ability to use or access his magic.''

"Koyomi!" The boy Haruto yells at his friend, blushing red with embarrassment. Tsukasa hums, now getting the gist why those boys were bullying him. Very common.

''So he's a muggle.'' He says to Koyomi's confusion. 'A mugger?''

Tsukasa shakes his head, more than sure this world doesn't have Harry Potter.

''Never mind.'' He tells her off as he then orders the two. ''Now get inside, I'll teach you kids what real magic is like.''

''Thank you.'' Koyomi thanks him with a bow as Haruto still frowns before the two run off together.

''Poor kid.'' Natsumi mutters sadly, walking up beside Tsukasa. She's reminded of her times in school, at least when she was little since things became much easier near the end of her final years. She eyes him and asks. ''You were never bullied in school, were you Tsukasa-kun?'' She assumes since she imagined Tsukasa being that cool guy everyone wanted to have as a friend.

Tsukasa, however, just scoffs as he proclaims firmly. ''I never let it bother me until when the kids mention my dead sister.''

This shocks Natsumi, not realizing that. Tsukasa just remains silent, remembering how the other kids felt bad towards him after Sayo's death. He was the richest kid with no parents or siblings, basically placed on a pedestal that he was special and needed to always need to be treated as that. Soon the way they looked at him was that of jealousy with all the attention he got and then attacked him. He never bothered fighting back not once; no point to get his hands dirty… until one dumbass had the nerve to mock his sister. That… crossed the line for him and what he did to him; he was expelled from that school.

''Let's say he was unable to eat or speak for months.'' Tsukasa says with a tone of satisfaction, never regretting that choice. Since then, he hid the fact about his parents and Sayo away. Clean state and it worked well. No point sharing about his past to them… and why it felt hard when he eventually told Natsumi and the others about it. Still, he's glad he did.

He turns to Natsumi and asks her back with the same question. ''And you, Natsumi-chan?''

''…'' Looking away in silence, Natsumi eventually turns to face him and smiles softly, telling him. ''I had my parents who cheered me up and made me feel better. And also my Jiji-san too.''

Tsukasa looks at her eyes, able to tell they're watery. He smirks, encouraging her. ''Sounds like they gave you a lot of hope.''

''Yes, they did.'' Natsumi responds softly, smiling. She looks back at where the kid Haruto ran with his friend and utters out. ''Maybe he needs that too.''

Watching from afar, Daiki and Selina were overhearing that conversation. He was bullied too… but his older brother was always there for him. He smiled briefly… only to remember the kind of man he was now. Daiki snaps himself out, gazing back at the castle and the treasure hidden in its walls.

"Time to hunt, Selina." He proclaims with the Purrloin purring eagerly. "Nyan-Nyan."

The group arrives at the large grand hall as the headmaster begins announcing. ''Welcome students.''

Tsukasa stares at the man beginning his speech while Sougo informs him of what else he gathered about this place. Apparently, the man is the new headmaster who took over after the last one died fighting against a powerful Phantom. He hums about the last part.

''As your headmaster, I would like to present your new professor.'' The man begins to tell the students as he extends his hand towards Tsukasa. ''Professor Kadoya, any words you wish to express.''

Tsukasa smirks as he hops on the stage and stares down at the students, clearing his throat before he speaks up with another quote. ''Failures and bullies are not permitted in my classes. If you truly wish to become mages, impress me. Otherwise don't bother.''

The students all look at him puzzled while Natsumi, Layla, Jiggly and Dragonic sweat drop.

''Well said professor.'' The headmaster says with a smile as he looks back at the students. ''I expect many of you to learn much from him.''

This causes Tsukasa to actually smile, rather joyful to the other's concern.

''Oh he's going to enjoy this, isn't he?'' Natsumi asks Dragonic, really worried with the dragon nodding. ''Sadly so.''

Natsumi sighs as she notices the guy from before next to them and she asks curious. ''Are you a professor too?''

He eyes her and smiles, replying after he takes a bite of a doughnut. ''Something like that.''

''Alright, children…'' Tapping the chalkboard in a classroom, Tsukasa begins to say to his class. ''Before we begin, I'll like to clarify a few things. My classes are not about…'' He pauses, realizing that he doesn't know the name of the class. He checks the teacher folder and cracks a smirk by the irony of the class name. ''Defense against Dark Magic…''

Poking outside the class, Natsumi gasps astonished with Dragonic poking too, really in awe.

''It is about what magic is to you and why you use it!'' Tsukasa finishes his speech before he points his baton towards Haruto. ''You, boy.'' The little boy staggers in a panic as Tsukasa questions him firmly. ''Why do you use magic? To get what you never had, to defend yourself or-''

''Um sir, Haruto has his reasons.'' Koyomi interrupts him politely. Haruto gulps, too scared to speak up his mind.

Tsukasa hums as he tells the young girl. ''Thank you Miss Koyomi but I never ask what your reasons are yet.'' He writes something in his book. ''Five points will be removed from your class.''

The rest of the students make an awkward face by that line.

''Now let's talk about your understanding of magic. Let's see…'' Tsukasa begins to say, flipping through the textbook's pages before he asks Haruto again. ''Boy, do you understand where magic comes from?''

Haruto is left stunned, hoping he isn't going to ask him again. He's paralyzed by fear, just looking down on his desk.

''Sir, it comes from your pool of mana. The larger your mana, the more magic you can release and use. And that mana is connected to those who evolved from being Gates and-'' Koyomi once more interrupts, answering his question but much like last time, Tsukasa cuts her off with a firmer voice. ''That is the second time you have spoken out of turn, Miss Koyomi. Five more points will be taken from your class for being an insufferable know-it-all.''

''Umm, we don't use point systems, sir.'' Koyomi corrects him that they don't use points and Tsukasa knows that already, responding calmly. ''There is no need to call me 'sir' and I am aware but you get my point.''

He gazes towards Haruto, still trembling at his own weakness and self-confidence. He can tell the boy doesn't like being here or rather so put down by something. No kid wouldn't feel like that… unless they're afraid of something to make them doubt themselves.

''You defending or speaking for your classmate is not the way to help him grow or even stand up on his own two feet.'' He explains his reasoning, walking up to the scared kid and literally threatens him indirectly. ''If he is that afraid to stand up for himself, I will simply kick him out of this class without a second way.''

Haruto just trembles more, squeezing his hands on his lap. Natsumi watches this, recognizing his trauma and Tsukasa knows it too. Sure, his method is to force him to speak up but… she has a feeling this isn't going to work.

''Would you like me to do it now? Or would you like a few moments to compose an epitaph?'' Tsukasa proclaims calmly to every one of the student's confusion on the last word. ''Epitaph?''

Dragonic face palms as he shouldn't use that word in front of children.

''Now boy, why are you here?'' Tsukasa asks Haruto again for a reply. He trembled, trying to utter anything. ''I… I…'' The words couldn't come out clearly or at all, he was too scared. Koyomi grows worried as she interrupts once more. ''Professor, please. Haruto is special and-''

Tsukasa turns and gives her a firm glare. Koyomi staggers as he begins to tell her calmly with another quote. "The mind is a complex and many-layered thing, Miss Koyomi… or at least, most minds are. I suggest you keep quiet."

She curls her lips into a frown. Natsumi watches as the stranger suddenly walks in the classroom.

''If your friend can't speak his own mind, then how I-'' Tsukasa begins to say, making a decision but before he can, he's stopped by the doughnut stranger who calms him down. ''Now-now, Professor. I'm sure the kid has his reasons.'' He looks at the kid, frowning a bit as he reminds him of himself.

''Forcing him to your demands is only causing him to despair.'' He expresses humility before he smirks at Tsukasa. ''You need to smile a little more, professor.''

Tsukasa glares at the so-called wizard, telling him rather calmly yet sounding like a threat. ''You don't want me as your enemy, Hopesie Wizard.'' That line gets under the so-called Wizard's skin before he smirks, raising his right hand forward.

''Wrong. I'm the enemy of despair.'' He corrects him, sliding on a ring on his right hand finger. ''And I intend to prove it.'' He moves that hand over his belt buckle as it glows.

''DRIVER ON, PLEASE!'' A voice announces as his belt changes, resembling a driver. Tsukasa stares at its surprise, looking back at the so-called wizard before he cracks a smirk.

''Seems I get to show my students how to defend themselves against-'' He begins to say, strapping on the Decadriver but before he can pull out his Rider Card, a scream is heard alarming all. ''WWAAAA!''

The students panic as Tsukasa turns to the direction of the scream and proclaims calmly. ''I was wondering when they would make their move.''

"Likewise." The Wizard says, also waiting for this moment. The two immediately run off. Natsumi sighs, going to need to see what is happening now. She does notice Layla is gone, startling her.

A student is running for his life, being pursued by multiple monsters that easily corners him with so much ease. He drops on his knees, unable to get away as he has an expression of terror.

''H-HELP ME!'' He screams loudly for help as the monsters move in closer, preparing to jump on the terrified student until they're all hit by Layla's Night Slash.

''Absol!'' Layla barks loudly, having felt the danger before the others did. The monsters hiss, about to attack again until one of them is kicked by Tsukasa, hitting the others back.

''Get him out of here, Layla." He orders her as she nods, grabbing the student with her fangs by his leg and drags him away. He eyes the monsters and smirks, pulling out his Rider Card and dunks it into his strapped Decadriver.

''KAMEN RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as Tsukasa declares, pushing its levers forward. ''Henshin.''

''DECADE!'' The driver announces as Tsukasa transforms into Decade. He walks forward and dashes as the monsters who swing swipes or kicks that Decade easily moves around them and delivers his own precise kicks and punches that slam them back. He then wields his Ride Booker, sword form before dunking a card into his belt.

''ATTACK RIDE! SLASH!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade moves the sword to his waist side and then swings forward, spinning in 360° as it leaves a trail of magenta colored energy that hits each one of the monsters and destroys them.

Decade wipes the end of his sword, proclaiming confidently. ''They barely cause me to crack a sweat.''

''Those were not Phantoms!" Decade hums, turning to the so-called Wizard as he informs him. "They are Ghouls, foot soldiers to Phantoms! ''

Decade hums again, finding that strange why they would- Suddenly he panics and runs off. The stranger doesn't follow until it hits him.

They run back to the classroom with Layla, shocked to see Natsumi panicking as Jiggly is smacked around by more Ghouls. Decade easily comes in and slashes them down. Once they are done, he walks in the room and he and the others see a student, the bully from before, being gripped by the throat by a white scaled monster.

''Wiseman?!'' The Wizard utters in shock to Decade's awareness. So this is a Phantom?

''Oh? You know of me.'' The monster speaks, not even looking at the group as he pours dark power upon the student in agony. ''Doesn't matter.'' He gazes at his target as purple cracks form across the boy's body. ''Despaired.''

He screams before his whole body glows and shatters, now becoming a lamia-like Phantom. This horrifies the group with Dragonic uttering. ''Impossible, he caused him to become a Phantom.''

The stranger nods, never seeing that before so easily.

Releasing his grip on the newly created Phantom, Wiseman orders him. ''Deal with them.'' He turns his back and walks away as Decade calls him out. ''Coward…'' He comes charging only for the snake Phantom to intercept, thrusting its claws at him. He dodges or repels with his sword but not before its tail slashes him across his chest, sparks flying out. He grunts, hesitating to slash the monster since it was human before it punches the rider back across his head.

Decade hits the ground, grunting as the Phantom comes at him until a voice announces. ''BIND, PLEASE!''

Multiple metal chains manifests all around the monster, wrapping around it and gripping it in place. Decade gets up weakly as the stranger informs him with a somber face. ''Once you become a Phantom, there's no going back as that person ceases to exist. And they'll want others to succumb too so they become overtaken as Phantoms.''

''So Phantoms are that much more dangerous.'' Decade concludes, finding himself weak for hesitating in that moment.

''That's why I won't allow anyone else to fall into despair.'' He declares, flipping his left ring to show a face of sorts. Decade watches and scoffs, saying as he realizes his suspicions. "… You're the expert then, Haruto."

The stranger startles a bit before he smirks, replying. "I guess you put two-and-two together."

He twirls the right lever of his belt as his transformed belt begins to chant 4 times. ''SHABADOOBIE, TOUCH TO HENSHIN!''

''Henshin!'' The young man, Haruto, shouts as he moves his left hand and swipes the center of the belt before moving that same arm to his side.

''FLAME, PLEASE!'' The Wizardriver announces as a red magical circle manifests in the same direction as his left arm. It moves on its own, overlapping Haruto's body as flames wrap around him. ''HI-HI, HI-HI-HI!''

His body transforms and changes into that as the wizard of hope, Kamen Rider Wizard. Natsumi gasps astonished with Dragonic smirks, proclaiming. ''Figures as much.''

The Phantom hisses puzzled as Wizard flaps the ends of his coat tail twirling around before he declares confidently. ''Now… It's Showtime.'' He then walks forward calmly, irritating the Phantom as it slithers fast at the rider and thrusts its claws that hits the air. It shocks the monster before it is suddenly kicked across the gut, pushing it back as it then somersaulted kick across the head by the rider, having back flip to evade its claw swipe.

The Phantom is staggered by the previous hit as Wizard changes rings in his right hand and swipes it over his belt after flipping the right lever.

''CONNECT, PLEASE!'' The Wizardriver announces as Wizard raises his left arm to the side as an orange magical portal manifests. He slides that arm inside the portal and pulls out his signature weapon, the WIzarSwordGun. He twirls the gun mode of his weapon before he unloads a barrage of bullets that bed and hits all over the monster like a shotgun. Sparks fly out as Wizard then slams his free hand, hitting the Phantom with a palm strike. The monster is thrust backwards as it is then slash across the back by Decade, slashing though it as he flips his Ride Booker into gun form and slides a card into his belt.

''ATTACK RIDE! BLAST!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade doesn't even turn fully as he aims with his gun backwards and unloads multiple energy shots across the monster's body.

Decade puts away his weapon as Wizard walks forward to the monster, flipping the lever of the right side of his belt as it glows and swipes his right hand, showing a new ring on it.

''LEPARCHI MAGIC TOUCH GO!'' The Wizardriver begins to announce, repeating that phrase 4 times.

"Finale.'' Wizard declares by sliding a new orange ring on his right hand over his belt it glows intensely declaring. ''VERY NICE! KICK STRIKE!'' A large red magical circle manifests underneath his feet as the Wizardriver adds excitedly. ''THE BEST!''

He twirls around, shearing flames erupt from underneath him before Wizard runs forward. Decade follows suit, pulling out a Rider Card and dunks it into his belt as well as pushing the levers forward

''FINAL ATTACK RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade leaps upward as the holographic cards manifest. The Phantom watches in terror as Wizard leaps and performs a somersault Rider Kick before diving downward as Decade does his own kick. ''DECADE!''

Both Riders kick through the monster instantly, not giving time to react before it shrieks out and explodes from behind them. Natsumi gasps amazed with Dragonic nodding.

Decade wipes his hands together while Wizard breathes a sigh of relief. ''Whew.'' He eyes Decade and suggests. ''Guess we'll settle things until Wiseman is stopped.''

''… Agreed.'' Decade accepts, always a fan of his Rider opponent helping him rather than trying to kill him. It's better than-

''GAAAH!'' The two become alarmed as they run out of the room. The others follow and see to their shock as Layla is tossed before Decade who catches her, witnessing the child Haruto on the ground, grunting in pain as he's being stomped by Wiseman who is gripping on Koyomi's neck and infecting her with despair.

''You twisted!'' Decade begins to proclaim seriously, about to attack him until multiple dark waves hit the ground before him. He steps back and looks up, seeing Doctor Shinigami hovering above them.

''Hello Decade, here to witness my experiment hmm?'' The evil Fangire doctor asks with a drunken-like voice, chuckling evilly while Decade grunts, clenching his fist together. "Doctor. Should have known." Decade utters angrily, not going to let him get away from this.

I'll see you all next week for the second part of the A.R. World of Wizard!
