This is Chapter 8.5 of Tales of the Decade Second Season. Please enjoy it like a fan for Kamen Rider.
Chapter 8.5: World of Surprise Drive!
Struggling heavily, Go tries reaching his bike but is forced to dodge around Daiki's shots, now transformed into Diend while Selina purrs on top of his shoulder.
''Why are you attacking me?! Are you a saboteur?'' He questions him mad for this trickery. Diend snickers, answering him. ''Treasure Hunter. All I want is your belt.''
Go oddly smirks, pulling and strapping on the Mach Driver Honoh.
''You want it, come and get it.'' He proclaims, pulling and twirling a white toy bike and slides it into his belt.
"SIGNAL BIKE! RIDER!'' The Mach Driver announces as he proclaims, doing an arm twirl. ''Let's Henshin!'' He slams his fist onto the belt, revving its engines. ''MACH!'' Swirls of energy tires wrap around him and shoot upward energy, transformed into Kamen Rider Mach.
Extending his right foot forward, Mach dashes at Diend who responds back with his own speed until he's punched by Mach. It staggers him back long enough to lean back and evade a kick from the faster Mach.
''He's faster than me?'' Diend questions mentally as he pulls back and fires multiple shots from the Diendriver. Mach, however, pulls out a bike-like gun weapon and swings it with the round wheel-like blade. He then thrusts a Shift Bike into his belt.
"SIGNAL BIKE! SIGNAL KOUKAN! MAGARL!'' The Mach Driver announces as his front shoulder wheel gains a signed-marked arrow. He then fires rapid shots that bend all over the place to all hit Diend at different spots across his body, sparks flying out of him.
Diend doesn't drop as he slides a card into his gun, loading it.
''ATTACK RIDE!'' The Diendriver announces as Diend duplicates into 4 more of him. ''ILLUSION!''
Mach startles as he fires again but this time all 5 Diends counter the shots at all directions with their precise aiming.
Grunting, Mach slides another Shift Bike and hits his belt.
"SIGNAL BIKE! SIGNAL KOUKAN! KIKERN!" The Mach Driver announces as his shoulder wheel's front changes shape. He then shoots a flare that turns into a portal shaped like Kikern's logo as he hits the Boost Igniter which summons a bullet-shaped Demon Beast that starts small and grows to giant size in seconds to bite towards the Diend and his copies.
However, all 5 Diends slide a card each and load them into their guns.
''ATTACK RIDE! DIEND BLAST!'' The Diendriver announces the Diends fire powerful energy shots that repels Mach's attack and explodes, surrounding Diend in the blast. Mach watches, being cautious until he hears a voice. ''KAMEN RIDE!''
Mach soon dashes towards the smoke only to suddenly get hit across the chest by a piercing-like weapon followed by an arrow shot and then a slash with insane speed. He's thrusted backwards, rolling but manages to get up on his feet.
''THE BEE! DRAKE! SASWORD!'' The Diendriver's voice echoes as emerging out of the smoke is the summoned ZECT Riders. Diend walks out of the smoke, brushing off his shoulder before thrusting a Rider Card into his gun.
''ATTACK RIDE! CROSSATTACK!'' The Diendriver announces as all 3 summoned fake Riders use Clock Up, dashing and striking the stun Mach, unable to keep up with their superior speed and numerous odds before they launch him upward into the air.
Diend watches this and asks his partner's assistance. ''Selina dear.''
''Nyan~'' The Purrloin purrs as she prepares to use Assist. Diend loads one more Rider Card as he takes aim.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE!'' The Diendriver announces as all the summoned Riders become energy and enter around the charging energy of the gun's barrel before he and Selina both fire the similar cyan colored blast. ''DIEND!''
The two energy blasts fire and consume Mach still in the air, screaming in agony. ''GAAAWWW!''
Soon the attacks create an explosion as Mach falls and hits the ground, de-transformed as the Mach Driver came off him. Diend walks up, strolling, before bending down and takes the belt. He snickers as he eyes the Ride Macher and compliments him. ''Nice bike.'' He soon waves his hand and walks away. ''So long.''
''Nyan-Nyan!'' Selina purrs happily, waving her paw hand before she walks along with him.
A few minutes before, the Density Shift finally ends as everyone moves and runs for their lives by the disaster of the Roidmude.
''Absol!'' Layla barks as she runs over to where Decade crashes. Natsumi follows in hot pursuit along with Jigglypuff, the three reaching the area just as they see the Roidmude fire a blast at Shin and Kiriko.
''LOOK-'' Natsumi tries shouting at them, warning them but the blast is about to hit them… until she hears a familiar sound. ''CLOCK UP!''
Almost like a blur, the two just vanished as the sphere hits the ground where they were and explodes.
Natsumi oddly turns around and sees both Shinnosuke and Kiriko, unscratched and saved by Decade as Kabuto. She sighs of relief, praising him. ''Nice one, Tsukasa-kun!''
Decade gives her a thumbs up.
''Jiggly!'' Jiggly cries out happily as she holds her microphone and begins singing happily. ''Jiggly~Jigglypuff~Jiggly~Jiggly!''
Natsumi panics as she starts feeling dizzy, dropping to her knees. The police detective arrives and immediately listens to the singing, feeling really sleepy as he yawns loudly.
''So tired… Done thinking…'' He utters weakly, slowly lying on the ground and sleeps.
The Roidmude feels fuzzy, hard to think as he sees the damn pink ball and yells angrily. ''Annoying singing!'' He aims with his gun-ax weapon and fires a powerful shot at her. Jigglypuffy sees it and panics in a cry, not able to dodge it on time. ''JIGGLY!''
Layla leaps in between and uses Protect to block the attack.
''Absol-Absol!'' She barks at Jiggly, lecturing her to not sing without a plan. Jiggly puffs her cheeks.
"Good work Layla." Decade praises the mon as he comes at the Roidmude with a strong, fast punch. The monster evades the hit as they cross and swipes fists. The Roidmude flips the gun to ax form and comes swinging. Decade-Kabuto easily evades the ax swings and then side steps to avoid the horizontal swing as he pulls out a Rider Card and dunks it into his belt.
''ATTACK RIDE!'' The Decadriver begins to announce as Decade pushes the levers of his belt forward all while the Roidmude swings his ax right at his head. ''CLOCK UP!'' Time ripples and everything freezes up instantly, everything moving at a snail pace. Decade-Kabuto soon swings a barrage of fists, rapid punching and sends the monster flying into the air. Decade then slides a card into his belt.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as he leaps forward and performs a Rider Kick, surges of electricity flying all over his foot. ''KABUTO!''
The Roidmude, even in slow motion, manages to turn into smoke as Decade kicks through it and the smoke blows away, revealing only the rider.
Decade looks around, not seeing the Roidmude anywhere. He got away. He wipes his hands together before pulling outward the levers of his belt, de-transforming back. Things are still not adding up and Tsukasa needs a single clue to at least confirm a suspicion.
He turns to Natsumi and asks her, gazing at Shin and Kiriko. ''Natsumikan, check on them. I'm going to follow a lead.''
Natsumi nods, trusting he'll figure things out.
''Let's go then, Tsukasa-kun.'' Dragonic proclaims, suddenly appearing next to him, with Tsukasa smirking. The two left together.
Natsumi reaches the two, checking on them but Shin grunts upsetly before leaving as he gets back to the Tridoron. Kiriko bows, apologizing before she runs up behind him.
The police detective then walks up to Natsumi, just waking up as he asks her, still yawning. ''Is everyone okay?''
''Yea! Thank you… um…'' Natsumi tries to say, not sure what to call him but he answers her with a smile. ''Detective Shin- Detective Tomari is fine.''
He eyes the two walking away, uttering with a frown. ''Those two nearly die.''
''Yea but Tsukasa-kun saved them!'' Natsumi says with a smile, explaining what happened. ''He became Kabuto and used Clock Up to save them. It's like him to think about every detail around him, like a photo.''
Tomari oddly smirks, admitting so as he says. ''That Tsukasa isn't a bad person, no doubt about it.'' He looks back at the destruction the Roidmude left behind, cars destroyed but the drivers still alive. He gets serious, vowing. ''I'm done thinking about it.''
He had picked up a piece of a car, seemingly but he needed to be sure. Thinking back, he has a lead as he starts to walk.
''Where are you going?'' Natsumi asks him as he responds, adjusting his coat. ''To solve this mystery.'' He smiles, asking her. ''Come with me, miss.''
Natsumi hums and smiles as she, Layla and Jiggly follow right behind him.
Tsukasa, now wearing his casual clothes, and Dragonic are walking towards Chase's pit stop but Go beats them in front of the garage. He can tell he's really beaten up as he asks him. ''You alright?''
''Yea… that guy…'' He utters weakly and upset, losing his belt. Tsukasa sighs as he says. ''That thief gets you by trusting him and then stealing from you.''
''So you know him?'' Go asks with a puzzled face with Tsukasa frowning. ''Sadly. So here to see your friend?''
Go nods, wanting to check up on him since that Roidmude was riding his friend's bike. He's worried about where he is.
''…'' Tsukasa frowns silently, wondering about that. Just then the Tridoron drives inside Go's pit stop as Shin and Kiriko get out. This alarmed Go, running to the two and questioning them. ''Shinnosuke, Kiriko; why was you riding that?''
''I…'' Hesitant to defend himself, Shin lowers his head upsetly. ''I just wanted to-'' His words are cut off when Kiriko sees Tsukasa walking inside Chase's Pit Stop. ''What is he doing over there?''
Go turns around and gets mad, running up behind him as the two follow.
''Hey, this is my friend's-'' Go begins warning him, stepping inside and looks rather uneasy by the multiple mechanical pieces scattered on the ground.
There's no one here other than them as Tsukasa asks him. ''He doesn't have a crew like your group?''
''He has his Roidmude-'' Go begins to remind him but Tsukasa points out the obvious. ''That he said was here but it's not.''
Shin agrees as he's never seen his Roidmude.
Tsukasa spots something on a table, catching his glimpse. He approaches the table and picks it up. The piece is metal but it's unique… like an inserter of sorts and then it hits him.
''As I figured.'' He turns around and sees Detective Tomari walking in along with Natsumi, waving to all.
''Lazy Detective, doing your job now?'' Tsukasa questions him in a taunt. Tomari nods as he holds up a similar metal piece that he has and proclaims. ''I saw this among the road that the Roidmude was attacking the other drivers.''
Go recognizes the piece and realizes what it is. ''Hey, wait. That piece is where the Shift Car is placed in the vehicle.''
This surprises both Tsukasa and Tomari, beginning to realize the targets were not the drivers. Seeing the pictures of multiple cars but none of the drivers hurt, Tomari links the pieces and gasps. "I get it now!''
Adjusting his tie tightly, the police detective proclaims with confidence. ''My brain cells are in Top Gear!" He eyes Tsukasa and tells him. ''The Roidmude isn't directly attacking the drivers; he's going after their knowledge on their cars but more specific-''
"Their Shift Cars." Tsukasa interrupts, also realizing the connection. ''Of course. He wants to know where their Shift Cars are and take them.''
''But for what?'' Kiriko asks, puzzled only for Go to now realize it with a grim expression. ''A permanent Heavy Acceleration.''
This worries Tomari who utters. ''The Shift Cars have the ability to negate the Heavy Acceleration but they can also be used to commence one too. This Roidmude must be gathering Shift Cars to create a Heavy Acceleration that will never end.''
Natsumi panics heavily, not wanting to be stuck like a frozen statue.
''And I let it get away!'' Shin complains loudly, stomping his foot on the ground. He screws up, freezing up badly.
''Are you going to blame yourself all day?'' Tsukasa finally questions him firmly, gazing towards him. This upsets Shin, uttering out. ''You don't get it…'' He hesitates for a moment before proclaiming. ''All I wanted was to drive but I just can't stop thinking. It's so hard and I-''
''Then stop thinking when you move.'' Shin is startled by Tsukasa's advice as he further says. ''Let your desire, your instinct be all that matters. To be fast, to react is all you need to focus about and use it to show the world you can drive like a pro.''
Shin is silent as Tsukasa encourages him. ''Even a backup has the right to move ahead. You need to take that first step to that horizon, no hesitation.''
The young driver is still silent, not thinking about it like that. Seeing his expression, Tsukasa knows his job is done as he walks out of the pit stop.
''Going to fight the bad guy, Tsukasa-kun?'' Natsumi asks, certain he knows where the monster is at. Tsukasa smirks, turning his back but he asks her. ''Coming?''
Natsumi smiles, nodding as she runs right behind him. Tomari also follows right behind him as Shin watches them leave and he's made up his mind. He runs after them with Kiriko and Go following as well.
Arriving at a private stand in the stadium, Chase walks up to the sitting Sayo with Shadow Moon right beside her.
''So have you gained all the Shift Cars you needed?'' She asks him with a smug smirk. Chase, scowling, transforms into the Roidmude with the number '109' on its chest.
''I have. Now our deal.'' The Roidmude responds, tossing her a disk with the info on Shift Cars. Shadow Moon catches it while Sayo giggles. She holds a dark Viral Core created by Doctor Shinigami with the Dai-Shocker symbol on the top of the small toy car device.
''Use it and you will become the Perfect Roidmudes.'' She tells him as the car shoots off the palm of her hand and the Roidmude catches it. He observes it, snickering as he prepares to absorb it until multiple shots are fired at him. Shadow Moon swiftly intercepts and slashes down the bullets with his sword.
''You think you will take what is not yours, thief!'' Shadow Moon declares furiously, gazing towards Daiki trying to shoot the Roidmude.
Twirling his Diendriver, Daiki corrects him with a smug smirk. ''Treasure Hunter actually. Besides, I'm stalling for time.''
Sayo raises an eyebrow until she sees Tsukasa and his group arriving. Tsukasa eyes Daiki who waves with a small smirk, vanished by an Aurora Curtain sliding through him along with Selina.
Smirking that the thief helped him for once, Tsukasa glares at the Roidmude and questions him with his arms crossed. ''So you're the Roidmude. So… when did you decide to kill your human partner and take his image as your own?''
Tomari clenches his hands tightly, reminded of his Chase and this was not fair.
''It makes sense as that racer and his Roidmude were never seen in the same room.'' Tsukasa proclaims, seeing through the hints. This enrages Go, just losing his friend and shouts enraged. ''Why?!''
The Roidmude eyes him and responds coldly. ''Why not? I hate this stupid peace. Us, Roidmudes, deserve to rule this world and I will do it even if I have to kill that human and work with them!''
''Unforgivable.'' Shin utters, just as angrily.
''It changes nothing.'' Sayo suddenly speaks up, snapping her fingers. Just then multiple Roidmudes appear, each of their eyes pitch black.
''She has control of each racer's Roidmudes!'' Sougo warns the group with Tsukasa smirking, strapping on his Decadriver.
''That won't help you.'' The Roidmude proclaims as his body begins to glow as multiple Shift Cars and Bikes enter inside his body before glowing bright golden light and soon transforms into an Over-Numbered.
''Over-Numbered! He reached the strongest state of the Ultimate Roidmude!'' Tomari utters in shock.
''Now you will all die!'' The empowered Roidmude announces proudly, coursing with power.
''Absol!'' Layla barks at Tsukasa who smirks in agreement, holding up a Rider Card as well as Sougo twirling his Ridewatch.
''You will not move anywhere!'' The Roidmude shouts, triggering a Super Heavy Acceleration until Tomari throws a different Shift Car that moves so fast that it hits through his hand and damages him, stopping the evolved Roidmude from using that power and forces him to run away with crazy speed.
''Henshin!'' Tsukasa and Sougo shout, using their powers to transform but then Shadow Moon swings his blade to stop him from transforming.
''KAMEN RIDER~!'' The belt chants as the energy wraps around him and Sougo transforms into Zi-O. ''ZI-O~!''
Tsukasa is forced to dodge Shadow Moon's sword swings but Zi-O punches him back.
''I got him, go ahead.'' Zi-O tells Tsukasa who nods. Shin taps on his belt and tells him, more than certain in himself. ''Belt, I need the Tridoron!''
''That is the attitude I was hoping to see from you, Shinnosuke!'' The belt responds as the Tridoron suddenly drives forward in front of him. Shin hops in, driving off.
Tsukasa tries to summon an Aurora Curtain to bring out the Machine Decader until he's intercepted by the brainwashed Roidmudes.
''Absol!'' Layla barks, slashing one with Night Slash. He grunts, dodging around the attacks as he tries telling her. ''I know Layla. Guess we'll-''
Just then multiple Shift Cars appear and hit the Roidmudes, even Shadow Moon backwards. Tsukasa turns to the detective and smirks. ''I was wondering when you would make your move, Lazy Detective?''
''You're smart so you know who I am.'' Tomari taunts him, aware that he knows who he is. Tsukasa smirks, indeed seeing through him and proclaims. ''There's no doubt that your full name is Shinnosuke Tomari, right?''
The detective adjusts his tie, flapping his right arm that has the Shift Brace on.
''So then-'' Natsumi utters, just realizing who he could be but he answers him. ''Yea. Leave them to us!''
"Us?" She mutters as suddenly a red Shift Car runs at high speed and swirls around Shnnosuke's waist, strapping on the Drive Driver.
''Guess it's our time now, Shinnosuke!'' The belt speaks, making a smiling face with an American-English accent. Natsumi gasps in panic as does Jigglypuff as she shouts. "HIS BELT ALSO SPEAKS!"
Tsukasa smirks and nods, trusting him to handle it. Shadow Moon comes at him but then Shift Cars hit him backwards. This gives Tsukasa the moment to summon an Aurora Curtain as the Machine Decader manifests out of it. Putting on his goggle helmet, Tsukasa rides off at top speed after the Roidmude.
''Someone should teach you manners.'' Shinnosuke proclaims as he twists the key switch of the belt. Shinnosuke then pulls out a car toy device from the slot, beeping excitedly before he twists it and slides it into his right bracelet.
''Let's go, Belt-san!'' He declares with a smile as Belt-san responds determinedly. ''Let's, Shinnosuke! Start your engines!''
Shinnosuke does a pose, swinging his arms in a way that he's forming a D shape before he shouts, flipping the Shift Car in his bracelet. ''Henshin!''
''DRIVE TYPE SPEED!'' The Drive Driver announces as swirls of round energy wraps around him and transforms into Kamen Rider Drive as a wheel is inserted into his chest in a slightly crossed angle.
Natsumi gasps astonished while Shadow Moon grunts.
Drive squats down with his right leg spread further, almost readying himself before he asks the monsters before him. ''Hey. Let's go for a ride!''
Shadow Moon comes charging only for Drive to dash even faster at him and knee kicks him backwards. It knocks Shadow Moon backwards as Drive rams the wheels on his legs and runs at him with a strong kick, knocking him backwards.
Some Roidmudes come after him while the rest attack Drive who dodges around their swipes and punches. He is literally drifting around them, even Shadow Moon's sword swings while taunting them, swinging his own punches back at them. ''Come on; am I too fast for you?'' While he grabs his right wrist with his left hand, then close his right hand and flick it open as a hand gesture. ''I'm still warming up!''
''Damn you!'' Shadow Moon complains as he stabs the satansaber into the ground and releases red waves of energy through the ground. Drive quickly twists the key on his belt and then he flips the Shift Car lever 3 times.
''SP-SP-SPEED!'' The Drive Driver announces as Drive suddenly dashes like a red blur, superfast that he appears in front of Shadow Moon and delivers a barrage of superfast punches, knocking him backwards.
More Roidmudes come at him as Drive pulls a different Shift Car. He quickly twists the key on his belt and twists the car. He then slides it into the bracelet and flips it, activating it.
''TIRE CHANGE!'' The Drive Driver announces as his front tire is replaced with a new one. ''SPIN MIXER!''
He flips the lever of his bracelet 4 times as it announces. ''MI-MI-MIXER!'' He fires a salvo of quick-drying cement from the Spin Mixer Tire's 12 Concrete Shooters at the multiple Roidmudes, binding them in place.
Drive then switches Shift Cars again and twirls the key of the belt.
''TIRE CHANGE!'' The Drive Driver announces as the tire wheel changes into a red wheel with swirl, sharp flame-shaped spikes. ''MAX FLARE!'' Drive then flips the lever of the bracelet. ''FL-FL-FLARE!''
Drive shoots out a powerful torrent of flame rings at the monsters, hitting and exploding them as they are consumed in flames before they're destroyed. Shadow Moon grunts, holding his ground with his sword blocking the attacks.
''Let's go past the speed limit!'' Drive declares, switching his Shift Car with a blue formula race car.
''Okay! Start your Engines!'' Belt-san declares as Drive twirls the key and flips the lever.
"DRIVE TYPE FORMULA!'' The Drive Driver announces followed by dramatic music as a Formula 1 car passes by and slams itself on the front of Drive, transforming himself into Formula. Twirling his right wrist, Drive dashes with insane blue speed, slamming onto multiple Roidmudes and Shadow Moon before they are thrown onto the air and hits the ground.
Stopping on his tracks as his feet burn with steam, Drive snickers as he taunts them. "Guess you're too slow.'' He then lifts the lever of the Formula Shift Car three times.
''FOR-FOR-FORMULA!'' The Drive Driver announces
Cover in blue energy as Drive moves with insane speed that he penetrates into all the Roidmudes, destroying them before performing an uppercut under Shadow Moon's chin, sending him flying into the air.
Twisting the key on the Drive Driver and presses a button on the Shift Brace, the Drive Driver announces as Drive leaps upward. ''SHIFT GEARS!'' He jumps over Shadow Moon and then performs a Rider Kick. ''FULL THROTTLE! FORMULA!''
Drive is covered in bright blue energy as he hits Shadow Moon with a strong kick that sends him flying faraway.
The others watch astonished while Sayo sighs, vanishing through an Aurora Curtain to find her butler.
The evolved Roidmude tries to get away from the Tridoron, actually keeping up with his speed.
''You will not interfere with my Heavy Acceleration!'' He shouts, shooting blasts from his palm and weapon. Shin sees them coming, panicking for a moment in what to do until he recalls Tsukasa's words. Calming down- no, closing his mind on nothing but the instinct to react, Shin swirls the car around in a spin while drifting and perfectly dodges the blasts with ease.
''What?'' The monster utters in shock as the Tridoron tries bashing him out of the road. ''How can a mere backup racer keep up with me! It's not possible!''
Leaping right beside the Tridoron is Tsukasa, riding on the Machine Decader, as he declares one of his speeches. ''It's because he wants to move past fate, move beyond the slowness of simply thinking and wanting to act on his own accord. Driving for him is to move past the speed bumps in life and feeling awake. That is the surprise of driving!''
Shin oddly smiles, nodding determinedly.
''A monster like you who slows everyone down for your own emotion cannot understand wanting to be faster to escape being held back, taking the easy path than the harder path.'' Tsukasa then proclaims, mocking the Roidmude. ''That's why a monster like you will lose here. In other words; you're a slowpoke.''
''You dare!'' The evolved Roidmude snaps angrily as he then demands furiously, shooting more blasts at them. ''Who the hell are you?!''
The Tridoron drifts around the shots as does the Machine Decader, even leaping over them.
''I'm just a passing-through Kamen Rider! Remember it!'' Tsukasa calls him out, smirking as he rams his engines.
''Let's go Tsukasa, Belt!'' Shin declares, sliding a red Shift Car and twirls the key of his belt.
''Belt-san is a better name.'' The Drive Driver corrects him as he then announces with an English accent. ''Okay! Start your Engines!''
Shin smirks as he flips the lever of his bracelet while Tsukasa thrusts a Rider Card into his belt, announcing. ''KAMEN RIDE!''
''Henshin!'' Both riders shout as they begin to transform.
''DRIVE TYPE SPEED!'' The Drive Driver announces as Shin transforms into Drive.
''DECADE!'' The Decadriver announces as Tsukasa transforms into Decade as he then thrusts a card into his belt.
''ATTACK RIDE!'' The Decadriver then announces as the Machine Decader glows. ''SIDE BASSHAR!''
The Machine Decader transforms into Kaixa's Side Basshar battle form, shooting out multiple missiles at the Roidmude. The missiles all over the Roidmude and explodes the ground, forcing the monster to leap out and lands on the ground only to get ram by the Tridoron, crashing into a wall.
The car stops as does the Machine Decader, reverted back. Decade leaps out as does Drive, watching as the Roidmude leaps out of the hole and he's panting heavily.
''Done running away?'' Decade taunts him, crossing his arms unimpressed. Growling enraged, the Roidmude will not accept this.
''I will not lose to damn humans!'' He declares, unleashing a Super Heavy Acceleration as everything slows down heavier than before. This staggers both riders, barely able to move within this space as the golden Roidmude dashes at them like a blur, easily bashing them across and then they're launched into the air and then both are both thrown into the ground; sparks flying out across them.
The Roidmude stops moving, laughing proudly by his grand power. Grunting, Drive stands up, not going to fail like before.
''W-we will not lose!'' He proclaims, refusing to let his overthinking cause him to fail again. ''Because no speed bumps will ever slow us down!''
Suddenly the Ride Booker glows and multiple Rider Cards shoot out as Decade catches them. He eyes them and sees the card he'll need.
''Exactly what I'm thinking.'' He proclaims, standing up and thrusts a card into his belt.
''FINAL FORM RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade tries to get behind Drive's back. The Roidmude dashes at them only to dodge fireballs, belonging to Dragonic who's sniping him to give Tsukasa the chance to win.
''This might… tickle.'' Decade warns the young Rider as he thrusts his hands behind his back. Drive gasps as his body begins to glow and suddenly changes, growing and expanding until he becomes a Tridoron-like bike but more detailed and stronger in appearance than the car form. ''DRIVE!''
''What the?!'' The Roidmude utters in confusion as Decade rides on the bike, twirling the handles as its engines let out powerful flames of aura so strong and wide that the area of the Super Heavy Acceleration vanishes.
''The slowdown was canceled out!'' The monster utters in dismay, not possible for this to happen. Ramming the engines again, Decade taunts the villain. ''Let's race now, shall we?'' He rides at top speed and hits the Roidmude across the chest before he knows what hit him. Decade twirls and drifts with such speed that he once again bashes the monster onto the front of the bike and leaps onto the lap of the stadium before stopping on his tracks. The Roidmude is tossed backwards and rolls on the ground for about a mile, badly damaged.
Getting up damaged, the golden Roidmude utters furiously. ''THIS CAN'T-'' His words are cut off as Decade fires beams from the headlights of the bike, hitting him and paralyzing the monster.
''You're finished.'' Decade declares, thrusting a card into his belt and pushes the levers of his belt before gripping on the round wheel of the transformed bike.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade rams forward, going faster and faster, at an insane speed like Mach 2, that the bike transforms into the car form of the Tridoron, surrounded in red energy before it drives right through the Roidmude. ''DRIVE!''
The car soon stops in its tracks, leaving hot rubber from its trail while sparks fly out through the Roidmude, glowing in dangerous colors.
''NOOO!'' The Roidmude screams as he suddenly explodes, destroyed completely along with its Vital Core.
Decade gets off the car, sighing as he wipes his hands together while the car reverts back to normal Drive, completely freaking out about what just happened. He looks back where the monster stood, uttering with a sense of relief. ''We did it…''
The magenta color rider agrees with him but not before he tells him. ''Shinnosuke.'' Drive turns to face him as he says. ''Drive forward with no hesitation.''
''… Right!'' Drive vows, not going to fail him. Decade nods, hoping for so.
The two de-transform and drive back to the others as Kiriko shouts at her friend. ''Shinnosuke!''
Shin pokes his head out, grinning wildly as he gets off the car and Go congratulates him, smiling as he's become a real driver. This causes Shin to feel a sense of pride, nodding as he won't let him down either.
Tsukasa smirks, taking a photo of the three together next to the Tridoron with his camera: Showing that one's instincts is all you need to overcome fear and doubt.
Watching from afar, Sayo frowns, upset. Her plans are ruined by the man who's identical to her older brother. Why? If he cares for her… then why?! Why?! Why… Why can't she be happy?
Sighing, the princess walks away, going to find Shadow Moon and reform their plans. She's not finished yet, not until she's freed of the Great Leader's shadow.
Turning as he spots her, Tsukasa frowns as he vows quietly. ''Sayo, next time I will open your eyes to the world you showed me before.''
Tsukasa and the group are walking back to Hikari Studio as Natsumi taunts her hero. ''You really are the King of Racing, Tsukasa-kun!''
''… Hate that title.'' Tsukasa openly admits, not a fan of such a dumb title. Plus, under the worst terms… best he doesn't have such a title.
''Too simple for my taste too.'' The group stop and turn as the police detective has been waiting for them, leaning his back next to his Tridoron.
''Lazy detective, here to fight me?'' Tsukasa asks him, fully aware of what he wants to do. Shinnosuke crosses his arms in a frown before he responds. ''Sorry. I was debating about it but I guess I have to.''
Tsukasa eyes him and simply nods. The two walk to a spot where no one will get hurt as Natsumi and the others watch from afar.
''… What do you know of Dark Decade?'' Tsukasa asks the detective, wanting his input on his dark version. Shinnosuke hums for a moment before responding. ''All I know is what I was told of him; he's a monster who thinks exactly like you, but fails to acknowledge the one thing you accepted about yourself. That is the key to victory.''
Tsukasa looks away, thinking of the other Sayo and what she somewhat hinted about his other self. There's no doubt that he refuses or denies accepting something that he has. But what… he'll have to see it with his own eyes when he confronts him again.
''Then right now, all I have to worry about is defeating you.'' He then says, strapping on the Decadriver.
''Shinnosuke, be careful with him. Move faster than you normally do.'' Belt-san warns his partner who nods, sliding in the Speed Shift Car into his bracelet. ''I will, Belt-san! Let's drive!''
''Good! Start your engines!" The belt announces as Shinnosuke twirls the key. He then does his pose before he and Tsukasa shouts. ''Henshin!''
He thrusts a rider card and pushes the levers as the Decadriver announces. ''KAMEN RIDE! DECADE!'' Tsukasa glows and transforms into Decade, wiping his hands together.
''DRIVE TYPE SPEED!'' The Drive Driver announces as Shinnosuke transforms into Drive.
''Let's have a ride, Decade.'' Drive taunts the magenta rider who snickers and responds back. ''Keep up with me then, Drive.''
Without a second moment later, the two charge forward and bashes forearms, clashing. Sparks fly out as they try to push the other but instead they pull away from the other. Drive lifts the lever of his bracelet 3 times as the Drive Driver announces. ''SP-SP-SPEED!''
He dashes forward with massive speed that Decade tries side stepping with precise timing, nearly dodging Drive's punch but not his knee kick that sends him flying into the air but he somersaults and lands on his feet. Decade pants as he dunks a card into his belt.
''ATTACK RIDE! INVISIBLE!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade turns invisible. Drive startles, looking around until he's hit across the chest and then his gut. Decade unloads a barrage of punches before kicking Drive backwards but he grinds his feet on the ground, holding his ground.
Drive then slides in a different Shift Car and twirls the key of his belt.
''TIRE CHANGE!'' The Drive Driver announces as the front wheel changes into a purple Shuriken. ''MIDNIGHT SHADOW!'' Drive then lifts the bracelet 4 times. ''SH-SH-SHADOW!''
Multiple energy shurikens shoot out all over the place, one managing to hit Decade still invisible and turn him visible. Then the remaining Shurikens become copies of Drive as they come attacking Decade in all directions, sparks flying all over the place. Decade is then kicked upward but this was what he wanted, dunking a card into his driver and pushing the handles forward
''KAMEN RIDE! FAIZ!'' The Decadriver announces as a red glow shines through Decade, transforming into Faiz. He then comes down at the ground and hits his right knuckle bracelet and releases a red shockwave of energy, destroying all the Drive copies.
Drive stands his ground as he slides in another Shift Car and twirls the key to his belt.
''TIRE CHANGE!'' The Drive Driver announces as his wheel changes into a green, spike wheel. ''FUNKY SPIKE!'' Drive shoots out green spikes at Decade-Faiz but he already slid in another card in his belt.
''ATTACK RIDE! AUTO VAJIN!'' The Decadriver announces as the Machine Decader drives on its own before transforming into the mecha Battle Form of Faiz's bike, flying and intercepting the spikes and proceeds to fire energy shots at Drive, blasting him away.
He grunts, rolling and pushing himself back up. Drive pants as he slides in a different Shift Car and twirls the key.
"DRIVE TYPE DEAD HEAT!" The Drive Driver announces as steam of red energy surrounds Drive and transforms into its Dead Heat form. He then dashes at the robot bike, kicking it once and it knocks it away.
''SUPER KAMEN RIDE! FAIZ AXEL!'' Drive panics as he looks at where Decade was but he's gone only for Decade-Faiz to be behind him as its Axel form. ''START UP!'' Drive is suddenly kicked into the ground before uppercut from the ground, being blitzed around by Faiz's surprise, instant fast attacks before he's punched back into the ground by the Faiz Shot knuckle weapon.
''DEFORMATION!'' Axel form ends as Decade reverts back to base.
Drive grunts, never taking such a beating like this before.
''Shinnosuke, may I suggest go full drive?'' Belt-san suggests, realizing they'll need full power to beat their foe. Drive nods with that as a Shift Car drives towards him and he catches it, standing back up.
''Let's take it to overdrive, Belt-san!'' Drive declares, pressing the button on the Shift Car as it announces. ''FIRE ALL ENGINES!'' He slides it into his bracelet and twirls the key.
''DRIVE TYPE TRIDORON!'' The Drive Driver announces as multiple Shift Cars surround Drive, glowing and uniting their power until Drive becomes its Tridoron form.
''So this is your full power.'' Decade questions as he takes aim with the Ride Booker only for Drive Tridoron to take a step and instantly appears right in front of him. This shocks Decade as Drive kicks him once and it launches Decade through a wall and into a building. He grunts, getting up as he hears the Drive Driver' voice announcing. ''TIRE COMBINATION!''
He watches as Drive suddenly appears in the room, raising his right arm to the side as the three wheels slide through his arm and combines them, in a swirl of their energies, into the main chest wheel: A combination of Max Flare, Midnight Shadow and Funky Spike. ''ATTACK 1-2-3!''
Drive then lifts the lever 3 times as it announces. ''ATTACK 1-2-3!'' He multiplies into 4, each one surrounding Decade in a cup as they unleash a combination of spiked, fiery waves from their downward arm swings. They hit all directions of Decade, consuming him in the explosions. The copies return back to the original Drive, watching if Decade-
''ATTACK RIDE! BARRIER!'' Drive takes up a battle pose as a magenta color barrier shines through the smoke of his quadruple attack and Decade is inside the barrier, unscratched. He pulls out the K-Touch and swaps it with the Decadriver's front, placing it on his left waist before turning the device on.
"KUUGA, AGITO, RYUKI, FAIZ, BLADE, HIBIKI, KABUTO, DEN-O, KIVA!'' The K-Touch announces one by one of each main rider's names as their logos glow until they all flash, including the Decade one. Decade then presses on the F letter on the screen. ''FINAL KAMEN RIDE!''
Decade glows violently so much so that it shatters the barrier and he emerges in his final form. ''DECADE! COMPLETE!''
Drive watches this as Decade walks forward, thrusting a card into his Decadriver.
''FINAL KAMEN RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade now runs and transforms into Faiz's final form. ''FAIZ BLASTER!'' The jetback of Faiz ignites and blasts Decade-Faiz forward with insane speed. Drive charges too, the two clashing as they swirl around the battlefield like blurs.
They clash around until Decade-Faiz opens up its shoulder cannons when he's in front of Drive and fires them, exploding and blasting Drive out of the building. Drive crashes into the ground, on one knee but panting really damaged. He gets up, breathing as Decade-Faiz lands inches in front of him and asks in a taunt. ''What's wrong? Out of gas?''
Still breathing, Drive raises his left arm to the side as shooting into his hand is the Trailer Cannon, a truck-theme blaster gun weapon. ''SHIFT THE TRAILER CANNON!''
''I'm always full of gas!'' Drive responds, pulling out the Speed Shift Car and slides it into the truck-theme weapon's insert slot. ''SPEED CANNON!''
He then pulls out the Tridoron Shift Car, pressing its button. ''FIRE ALL ENGINES!'' He slides it into the weapon too.
Decade snickers as he pulls out a Rider Card, tapping on it twice.
''Same.'' He responds, thrusting it into his belt as it announces. ''FINAL ATTACK RIDE!''
''FINISHER! FULL THROTTLE!'' The Trailer Cannon announces, charging up energy from the tip of the barrel as Drive holds on the weapon with both hands. Decade-Faiz watches and soon leaps upward, performing a Rider Kick. Drive takes aim and fires the weapon at him, unleashing a destructive red blast in the form of the Tridoron. ''FULL SPEED BIG CANNON!''
''FAIZ!'' The Decadriver announces as the red spiraling energy drill forms in front of Decade-Faiz as he kicks his foot through it just as the blast collides and clashes, streams of energy slamming between each other but Decade's kick cuts through Drive's attack and he kicks right onto him. It sets up an explosion, blowing air across the radius of the blast. Natsumi and the others brace themselves until it stops.
They watch as Decade Complete stands victorious while Drive is on the ground. Both riders revert back to their civilian forms as Tsukasa proclaims, adjusting his coat. ''You weren't bad for a lazy detective.''
Shinnosuke smirks as he replies carefree. ''At least I can stop thinking for a while until you beat Dark Decade.'' He frowns, his body glowing as he eyes Tsukasa and asks him. ''I- Belt-san and I are counting on you. Don't slow down.''
''We're all counting on you, young man.'' Belt-san also pleads, placing their trust onto him.
Tsukasa looks down at them and nods, putting their trust onto them. And with that, Shinnosuke glows and becomes sparks of light, fading away.
''…'' Silent with a stern frown, Tsukasa utters out in a vow. ''I'll drive forward then, Shinnosuke.''
Natsumi frowns sadly but at least they have many people counting on him to win. Tsukasa turns towards them and tries to smile with Dragonic smiling back, leading everyone back to Hikari Studio to go to the next world.
Sougo watches Tsukasa from behind, making a firm face as he only has 3 worlds left and then... Then everything will fall into place.
Author's Note: Time to clarify things:
1) This is now full on Fanfic territory, using elements from the Decade series from the TV Series, Movies and even Novels (which I already used so yea).
2) Drive is awesome. Hands down, an amazing Rider show that if Wizard was given the same treatment like W to Fourze and Gaim, it would be 6 RIDER SHOWS back-to-back being amazing fucking hits… and then Ghost would happen but it's not so bad… ish. I'll talk about Ghost for next time.
3) Wanted this A.R. World of Drive to be determined by who's fast so… Nascar but friendly until it isn't!
4) I like Shinnosuke and Belt-san… that's all. There's nothing much I can say without saying "You should watch Drive, NOW". That's it!
5) I find it good that I've made a rather weird relationship between Tsukasa and his sister from the World of Negative. Yes, this Sayo is "evil" but she's not; she just wants to be loved and acknowledged by her brother; something our Tsukasa would do for his Sayo if she didn't die. You can see even the egoist destroyer has a heart much kinder than others. And why Sayo can't stand her actual brother, the Great Leader; showing no such kindness to her and why she wants to rebel to take his empire. Well, if she could.
A.R. World of Drive was okay! It turned out decent! No complaints! Hope you guys enjoyed it!
