Clark frowns when he enters the kitchen and finds Zoey sitting at the table. He doesn't miss the suitcases sitting by the door. "Zoey," he greets, sitting down at the table. Lois Lane, their new house guest, hadn't made it down to breakfast yet. "What are you doing here?"

"Clark," Martha scolds, setting a plate of food down in front of Zoey.

Zoey smiles. "Thank you." She turns to Clark with a smirk. "I'm staying here for a few weeks. Uncle Max is in the process of getting the house debugged and I don't feel comfortable staying there until it's completely bug-free."

Clark snorts. "Zoey, they're just bugs."

Zoey rolls her eyes. "Surveillance bugs, Clark."

"Who would want to spy on you?"

"A pervert with the last name of Luthor."

Clark frowns. He didn't like hearing that Lex had been spying on Zoey. He still wasn't friends with Lex after discovering that he had been investigating him. Then a thought occurs to him. "Where are you going to sleep?"

"Zoey is going to stay in her old room," Martha answers. "And Lois is going to stay in yours, Clark."

"Where am I going to sleep?"

"The couch."

"Aunt Martha, have you thought any more about Uncle Max's offer," Zoey asks.

Martha smiles as Jonathan walks in. "I'd be happy to manage the Talon."

"Why don't you stay at the Talon," Clark questions.

Zoey smirks. "Lana is renting the apartment. She asked last week. Technically, Uncle Max was supposed to have the house bug-free by now. But there's been a few delays."

Heavy footsteps walk down the stairs and they turn to see Lois Lane. She had dark brown hair and inquisitive hazel eyes. She wore a tank top and a pair of jeans with boots. "Whoa, who ordered a life-sized Malibu Barbie?"

Zoey forces a smile. She tries not to shift. She wore a floral green dress and wedges. "You must be Lois. I'm Zoey. It's nice to meet you."

Lois notices the suitcases. "Don't you guys think it's getting a bit crowded around here?"

"Yes," Clark quickly agrees.

Martha shakes her head. "Zoey is our goddaughter, Lois. She's going to be staying with us for a few weeks."

"Is the dream house still under construction," Lois questions. Zoey forces a smile.

Senior year got off to a normal start for Smallville High. Clark had joined the football team. Lois had been dealing with trying to get Metropolis University to reinstate her admissions. She had been successful in her mission and had left a week earlier to start at Met U. Chloe was alive and still in charge of the Torch. The Talon had a successful reopening under Martha's eye. Zoey had her hands full of her duties as class president and ignored Lex, who had been trying to apologize. She hadn't even managed to tell Martha and Jonathan about Oliver.

So, when there's a knock one night, Zoey is very surprised to see the visitor. "Oliver," she exclaims, then tightly embraces him. "What are you doing here?"

"What? I can't visit," Oliver replies, then softly kisses her.

"Yes, I mean no. I mean, yes you can visit," Zoey quickly says, pulling the door closed behind her. She gently pushes him away. "But what are you doing here? At my godparents?"

Oliver laughs. "You haven't told them about me."

"I don't even what there is to tell, Ollie."

The door opens and they find Jonathan. Oliver smiles his million-watt smile. "Mr. Kent, it's nice to meet you," he brightly says, holding out his hand. "I'm Oliver Queen. Zoey's boyfriend."

By the time Martha comes home from the Talon and Clark from football practice, Zoey is ready to crawl into a hole in the ground. "Sweetheart," Jonathan calls out from where they were sitting in the living room. Martha walks over to them, with Clark behind her. "This is Oliver. Zoey's boyfriend."

Oliver stands up. He holds out his hand. Martha shakes his head while shooting her husband a look. "It's nice to finally meet you, Mrs. Kent." He turns to Clark. "And you must be Clark."

"You know, Ollie, it's getting late," Zoey says, standing up. "You have a long drive back to Metropolis."

"Actually, I'm staying at Max's. He was complaining about how long it was taken to get Wayne Tech to get around to doing the job he had paid them to do. So, I grabbed some tech from Queen Industries and decided to take care of the bug problem myself," Oliver explains.

Zoey frowns. "Why didn't Uncle Max talk to Earle?"

"Apparently, he's tried, Zo. Earle is always busy."

"I'll call Bruce in the morning. See if he can do anything."

"Or CRC can just let Queen Industries handle these things," Oliver counters. "Zo, sometimes relationships run their course and end. It just took the Carmichael-Wayne relationship 150 years to end."

Zoey forces a smile. She wanted to argue with Oliver. He had no right to interfere in CRC business. "Well, if it means I no longer have to share a bathroom with Clark, then find all the bugs."

A couple of days later, Zoey walks towards the barn. She raises an eyebrow as Lana walks out with an upset look on her face. Oliver had left that morning, claiming the debugging of Max's house was complete. "What's up with Lana," she asks, walking over to Clark.

"She wants me to not say anything about her and Coach Teague," Clark answers.

"Lana's fucking the hot new coach," Zoey blurts out. "Holy shit. Mad props to her. I'd fuck him. Anyway. Clark, I need you to X-ray Uncle Max's house. Ollie said that he got all the bugs out of the house, but I'd rather you check and make sure."

"Zoey, have I mentioned how beautiful you are," Clark says, walking towards her.

Zoey stares at him. "Um, okay. Can you also the X-ray thingy on my car? I can't find my phone and I need to call Bruce. I'm pretty sure my car was the last place I saw it…or maybe it's somewhere in my bedroom. Can you x-ray there too?" Clark grabs her wrist and pulls her against his chest. "Cla—" She's cut off when he presses his lips against hers. "What the actual fuck, Clark?!"

Clark lets go of her and she stumbles back. "I don't get what they see in you."

"I'm sorry?"

"There is nothing special about you at all. Spying on you was a waste of time." Clark scoffs and walks out of the barn, leaving a very confused Zoey standing there.

"I'm surprised to see you," Lex greets when Zoey walks into his study. The story of how Clark and Lionel had managed to switch bodies for a few days kept replaying in her mind. Truthfully, it was what Lionel had said that had been on repeat.

"Lex, I want to apologize," Zoey begins. Lex stands up and walks around his desk to her. "Turns out it was your father who was the giant perv and put a shit ton of nanny cams in my home."

"I'm sorry my father invaded your privacy, Zoey."

Zoey waves a hand. "At least he's in prison now."

"How did you find out?"

"I don't think that really matters, Lex." Her gaze lands on the manuscript page Lex has on display. She walks over to it. She doesn't miss the Kryptonian symbols along the edge. "This is interesting."

"It depicts the Grand Prince Danskoy's victory over his mortal enemy at Mamaya at the Battle of Kulacova. Legend has it that this was the only object adorning the walls of Rasputin's chamber while he studied at the Verkhoture Monastery," Lex tells her. "He believed this page would reveal a path to unimaginable power. Rasputin would stare at it for days at a time, attempting to penetrate its secrets."

"I'm guessing that Rasputin never uncovered those secrets."

"You can't trust Oliver Queen," Lex says.

Zoey looks at him. "Funny. Ollie says the same thing about you, Lex."

Zoey stares in disbelief at the scene in front of her. She had missed Chloe's birthday party the night before. She had actually planned on attending the party, but after her interview with an admission counselor from Princeton University, she had been more excited to talk to Bruce. She didn't know where her relationship with Oliver would go, but she already knew who she would pick if she had to choose. Zoey had also spent most of the day preparing for her eighteenth birthday. She was nervous about the board meeting that would occur and Max had been drilling on everything CRC related.

Currently, though, Zoey couldn't believe what she was seeing. Clark's hands were tied to one of the wooden beams above his head. Lana, Chloe, and Lois, who all appeared to be celebrating Halloween a couple of weeks late, were standing in front of him. Zoey quickly ducks behind some bales of hay as Lana, Chloe, and Lois turned to where she had been standing. She remains silent, listening to Lana talk about three stones of power and how Clark know what they were. She continues to listen as Lana manages to get the information out of Clark. There's a flash of pink light.

Zoey looks over the bale of hay and finds that Clark is alone. "Okay, so, um, what the fuck did I just witness," she asks, walking over to him. There are cuts down his chest. "Fuck, Clark, are you okay?"

"Clark!" Zoey turns to Jason Teague run into the barn. She had never really interacted with the former assistant coach. "Are you all right? What happened?" Jason reaches up and manages to undo the chains around Clark's hands. "Did Lana do this to you? Take it easy, take it easy. Where is she? I need to find her."

"Lana is with Chloe and Lois. And they all appear to be doing a slutty version of Hocus Pocus," Zoey answers. She smirks at Clark. "Did you light the black flame candle, Clark?"

Clark glares at Zoey before turning to Jason. "They're different. They're not themselves. It's like their bodies have been taken over."

"They have," Jason replies. He sighs. "In fact, this gonna sound kind of out there. Lana has been researching a seventeenth-century witch. She tracked down her spellbook and when she touched her hand to the page—"

"Are you saying that Lana is possessed by the ghost of an evil witch," Zoey interrupts.

"Yeah. Isobel got into Lana by using the book. So, we've got to find her and destroy the book. Any idea where they went?"

Zoey shakes her head. "Uh, I'm not sure," Clark answers. "Why don't you check the school? I'll go to the Talon. And Zoey, you stay here in case they come back."

"All right. Clark, call my cell if you find them, okay? Don't - don't try anything alone. Just be careful, okay?"

Clark nods and they watch as Jason takes off. Zoey turns to Clark. "So, why would a four-hundred-year-old witch go to the Kawatche caves," she questions, helping him. "And don't give me that bullshit about staying behind for my safety. Magic seems to clearly kick you in the balls."

Zoey parks the Range Rover outside of the caves. The Kawachi caves were exactly a place that she had frequented. She wasn't exactly a big fan of bats. She and Clark climb out of her SUV and walk around to the back. Clark had grabbed Jonathan's shotgun and a shirt before they had left the farm. Clark raises an eyebrow seeing the compound bow and a quiver of arrows. "Since when do you do archery," he questions.

"I started learning last summer," Zoey answers. "I have a pretty good teacher." She grabs an arrow and wraps a cloth around it before pouring some lighter fluid on it. She picks up a Zippo and shoves it in her pocket. "All right. You go in first. I'll be right behind you."

Silence falls over them as they walk into the caves. They reach a chamber in the back and could easily hear Lana. Zoey hangs back as Clark walks in. She lights the arrow and places it in the bow. A scream causes Zoey to enter the chamber. She watches as Clark dives for the clear stone. Light emits from the stone and flies into Clark's chest.

"His powers are restored," Lois states, confused.

"How," Chloe questions.

"I'm not from around here," Clark answers.

"It doesn't matter. We took them from you once before," Lana coldly says. "Do you really believe that this time will be any different?"

"He has backup this time," Zoey says, then fires the arrow. It hits the spine of the book in Lana's hands. Flames devour the book.

"No," Lana screams, dropping the book. The book glows white, then a bright light shoots out from the book.

Hours later, Zoey groans. She was lying on the floor of the Kawatche caves. She didn't remember what happened after destroying the spellbook. She stands up and finds Clark, Lana, Chloe, and Lois are lying on the ground. She spots her bow and grabs it. A groan causes her to turn and Zoey sees Clark waking up. He stands up and shoots her a thankful smile. More groans cause them to turn.

"Why are we lying in the dirt," Lois questions.

"And what the hell are we wearing," Chloe asks.

Clark walks over to Lana. "Are you okay?"

"Clark, what happened," Lana asks him.

"Clark lit the black flame candle," Zoey amusedly answers, then walks out of the caves.

Zoey's in the backyard of Max's house. She had an archery target set up. There were a few arrows in it. Her phone was sitting on a table along with a quiver of arrows. She racks the next arrow and fires it, watching it land center in the target. Her phone rings. She smiles seeing Bruce's name on the screen. She grabs it and picks it up. "Bruce," she greets. "I wanted to know if I could borrow a book."
