"I plan to bring Malfoy in for interrogation this afternoon," Jupiter told Amelia as he sat down in front of her desk.
"Is St. Mungo's officially releasing him or are you just taking him off their hands?" She asked, raising her eyebrow.
"Do you care either way?"
"No, not in my official capacity. The prisoner Lucius Malfoy has been officially given over to the Department of Mysteries until further notice. Once they have obtained a full list of his crimes he can be given back to the DMLE for judgment and punishment."
"What about you, what's on your agenda for today?"
"I have a meeting with Madam Longbottom to set up a committee to review the cases of those sent to Azkaban between 1980 - 83. Many of those trials were just for show and not everyone had the opportunity to defend themselves. Some of the lower death eaters were even tried as groups." She said, pinching the bridge of her nose.
"You had better tie everyone up with secrecy spells from the start. When it gets out it's going to cause a stir. The only thing you can do is mitigate the damage and keep it from leaking too soon."
"Sure, a stir" she said sarcastically. "The only good thing I can say about the situation is that the majority of these trials were held by a small number of people and they can all deal with the backlash of their choices. I have no problem hanging them out to dry."
Changing the topic she continued, "I spoke to Lord Davies yesterday about going over laws that had been passed by one vote that the Potter votes have been attached to."
"Yes, Lord Davies was a good choice." Jupiter agreed. "As far as I know he's neither a follower of Dumbledore nor Riddle. Hopefully that will allow him to make more objective decisions."
"Now, if there aren't any more updates, what did you need my help with?" he asked.
Opening her desk Amelia pulled out two letters and handed them over. "This last week has been chaotic and it all started with a letter. With everything that has happened I can't help wondering who exactly this concerned citizen is. The letters are about two very different topics and the tone also differs as well, but the handwriting is similar and both are signed by a concerned citizen."
Jupiter took a minute to read through both letters before answering. "Yes, I see what you mean. Both seem innocent enough but the fallout from them has been massive. Whoever wrote these wanted us to go digging for ourselves. The question is, was this the end goal or were we being tested for something bigger?"
"Please don't let it be something bigger! I think we've had enough revelations this year. Can't we save some dirty secrets for next year"? She pleaded.
"Don't worry my dear, there are always more dirty secrets to be dug up,'' he answered with a chuckle.
"If you don't mind, I'll take these with me and try to track down their owner."
"I would appreciate that, and I will let you know if I receive any more eye twitching letters."

"Potter Breaks His Silence"
After so many years leaving us wondering, I was able to snag an exclusive interview with Harry Potter and his representatives from Second Horizon.
Q: Tell us about your childhood, where did you grow up?
Harry Potter: I was placed with my muggle relatives and didn't know about the wizarding world growing up.
Q: That must have been awful to find out this was kept from you.
HP: Yes, finding out about the wizarding world was amazing but I wish I had the opportunity to have grown up in both worlds.
Harry sat at the table in his room eating breakfast and looking over his copy of the day's Daily Prophet. It wasn't bad but he came off a little stiff. However, he couldn't complain considering all of the emotions he had been trying to hide. He appreciated the format June decided to go with. It probably hid a lot of the awkwardness and allowed the reader to see his actual response instead of a jazzed up summary that some of the other reporters did.
June Fairweather had interviewed him independently and sold the interview to the Daily Prophet and internationally Wich Weekly. Farley said that this was the most press he had gotten since November of 81'.
As far as he could tell she had kept her promise and had not changed or exaggerated anything he said. The interview had covered everything from finding out he was a wizard, to how he felt about his fame, his favorite subjects and activities at school, and how the events of last year went down from his perspective.
He had been weary of bringing up his parseltongue abilities but Farley said that it would come up again when they went down to the chamber and it was better for people to hear about it from him then some reporter trying to cause a stir.
It also allowed him to point out how narrow-minded people were without coming across as accusatory. Adults could point at the children at school and say how dumb they were acting without having to self-reflect about it.
Harry hoped it didn't backfire once he got back to Hogwarts. He wouldn't be surprised if he was met with anger that he let the world know how they had acted last year.
His thoughts were interrupted by a knocking at his door.
"Up and at em Hair-Bea!" That wasn't really a password but nobody else was calling him Hair-Bear but Tonks.
Letting the two aurors in he asked if they noticed people's reaction to the Prophet?
"They're even more in a tizzy than they were over the chamber article. I even saw a few groups of people at the ministry gathered around talking about it. Honestly, hair-bear I think you might want to keep a low profile today." Tonks said.
With a huff Harry sat down. "Right, I'd rather not be mobbed today over this."
"So, Kings and I were talking and we came up with a brilliant idea!"
"What is this brilliant idea?" He asked suspiciously.
"We are going to play tourists today!"
"What?"
"Well, I'm going to take a guess and say you haven't been around London before. So we're going to take you sightseeing the muggle away. We will get some tickets for those hop-on hop off buses and let it take us around the city. They will tell us the muggle history and Kings and I will tell you the magical history. What do you think?"
"Actually, that is a brilliant idea Tonks!" Harry said, getting excited. "I could actually use a break from the magical world. And I've always wanted to see Shakespeare's Globe theatre. My aunt was obsessed with theatre for a while and I learned a lot about him."
"Then it's settled, we will be Tourist for the day."

Howards looked up at the knock on his open door to see Farley striding in.
"How did the meeting go?" she asked, taking a seat.
"It went how I expected. They all had different levels of knowledge about the situation and the wizarding world. So I decided to take it from the top and explain the full events of the term and why exactly they shouldn't take their children out of Hogwarts." Howards explained leaning back into his chair and massaging his temples.
"Most of it wasn't new information considering I explained most of this in my original letters to them, but having another set of parents to commiserate with and see how it might have been worse for their child brought them together as a group. By the time I was done speaking they seemed to have turned into a support group and were discussing the pros and cons of the suit and what they would like to ask for."
"So they have all agreed to join the suit?"
"Yes, they have all formally joined the suit." He said with a smile breaking across his face. "You know these cases are usually an uphill battle with very little reward at the end. However," he said with his smile turning sharp, "I do believe this battle will be on more even ground and I don't plan on taking any prisoners. It's time our enemies bloody the waters a little."
"So ... I see we've been reading Tolkien again." Farley said with a giggle.
Howards couldn't help but give in to his own laughter. "You know it helps me get into a good headspace when going against powerful entities. But seriously, I think this time will be different. We have a heavy hitter attached to this case and public opinion is in our favor right now.
I'm sorry I haven't updated this story in months. I got distracted with a few other fandoms but I'm back in the wizarding world again. The next two updates will be on time, I have those chapters prepped already.
