Lucifer was looking down at the grass and tiny bugs that roamed among it.
"Hello brother, looks like you've escaped." Michael spoke suddenly, approaching.
"Can't say it's a pleasure to see you." Lucifer said disgustedly.
Michael appeared out of nowhere.
His mum was still a ways away, hanging out with wolves by a mountain. Her back was facing towards them.
"...W-What are you doing here anyway? I'm still stuck in A universe, aren't I?"
"I-" He began before,
"Oh my god Lucifer, what has he done to you?" Linda said, walking with Amenadiel and Trix. Amenadiel flew them down from the sky.
Lucifer couldn't say anything though, because his brother was holding him hostage in seconds with Azrael's blade held at his throat, lightly touching his Adam's apple.
"Bloody hell, will you not!" Lucifer muffled against Michael's hand.
Great mum's here as well. He thought to himself, when his Mother walked over to join the others, scared like the others.
He tried to get out, and successfully did but gained another cut against his shoulder blade.
"One moment!" Lucifer said, dodging Michael's hits.
"Protect Trixie and leave!" He said, half yelling.
Michael inserted Amenadiel's necklace into the sword and added the belt buckle.
The devil struggled against the blade, flying upward when there was no other path to go. He felt the breeze on his face. He didn't have a weapon with him, so this was EXTREMELY unfair.
Lucifer flew down again, when Michael swung the sword toward him. Lucifer covered his hands on his brothers as it held the sword, blocking his hit. His twin kept pushing down.
Lucifer's strength gave out but he stepped back just in time.
Michael stabbed him in his stomach, causing him to grunt at the sudden force..
Lucifer coughed out blood, still fighting back against his twin.
His twin swiped the blade across his face.
The Devil covered himself with his devil wings for protection, getting his wings hit.
His hands were putting pressure against the wound as he dodged his brother's hits.
Lucifer toppled on the grass when he heard Amenadiel join the fight. He had no strength to keep himself up, and he was bleeding out too fast.
How am I not dead already? He thought to himself, looking at his hands as they were still held on his stomach.
Linda and Mum were protecting Trix, while Amenadiel fought with the Devil's twin, but Michael was gone. Disappeared.
The angel rushed to his brother. That would've been his first priority if he knew Michael wouldn't fight.
They were all frightened for him, running at him.
"I will have to be back. Mom watch them, make sure nothing bad happens."
Next thing Lucifer knew, he was resting in his brother's arms like a child, his red wings swaying in the air.
"B-brother, you.. Know I won't l-liv-" Lucifer coughed.
"You will, okay? I won't let you die." And in seconds, they were in Heaven. Somehow Lucifer didn't die and explode into light.
Resting upon the medical table they had in Heaven. It still looked as it did eras ago.
The angels gathered around, looking at him through the window, outside of the room that was perfectly white, with the most perfect, smooth tiles on the floor.
"He d-di-didn't survive th-this…how d-do you thi-think I will?" The devil asked, knowing that his big brother would know what he meant by he.
Raphael entered the room, and the two angels talked. Amenadiel was talking about how the Devil ended up in the medical room, and Raphael agreed to help.
Raphael asked about the wings, but his brother just shook his head.
"I don't know how he's got those wings. He may be self-actualizing. Might have to ask him when he has recovered." Amenadiel put emphasis in recovered.
Luci closed his eyes, he had lost too much blood, and with everything in all, it just hurt.
His wings were likely broken, His face ached from the blade, his stomach had been cut and slashed into, his shoulder blade was bleeding, and he was just too tired. He just wanted this to be over. And he wasn't even supposed to be in Heaven, he wanted to keep the promise he gave himself, to not leave Hell until he was ready.
He opened his eyes a little, surprisingly seeing his siblings look spooked, before looking at the ceiling and resting his eyes again.
He woke up, opening his eyes, looking down at his wounds.
They were patched up, same with his wings, holding a cast on each of them.
Then looking at Amenadiel who stood anxiously next to him, looking out the window, gazing at Heaven.
"H-" He began. "How am I alive? Uriel…" He said, not able to finish his sentence.
He honestly had wanted to die. He didn't want to go back to Hell, nor did he want to go on Earth. He had been longing for his death, for his extinction. The love of his life didn't want or accept him anymore
In his opinion, he's just brought pain and hurt to the people who risked being close to him. Amenadiel risked his life to save him.
This wasn't right, he should've been dead. How come he lives but Uriel didn't. He shouldn't have been alive right now. It wasn't fair to Uriel who died helping Dad, thinking Dad wanted to keep his part of the deal.
"Good, you're awake. Raphael healed you, but you're not ready to move yet." Amenadiel was happy, smiling.
Lucifer laughed forcefully. "Brother, you risked your own life trying to save me. Why?"
"Because I couldn't live with myself if you died." Amenadiel replied. "You need some rest."
"I've slept long enough. Is Trixie okay, because I SWEAR if my stupid, shadow arse twin hurt her, or th-"
"Everyone is okay. Nobody had found him yet."
"W…What," He was too nervous to ask. "What about Chloe?"
"They found her, she is in Heaven's jail, getting the punishment she deserves."
"Brother, Heaven's jail is worse than Hell. Trixie needs her.. Mum." He hated how whiny he sounded, but it was true.
"Please, brother. We need to unite them." He said, desperate, making his brother sigh.
"If it is fine by both God and Trixie then yes. I'll be back, get some rest, you need it." Amenadiel said, walking out of the door.
Lucifer stood up, and sat on one of the chairs, because his back was cramping.
He looked out the window, all the way to the jail. He hardly saw Chloe, sitting there looking tortured. It was painful to watch, so he just looked at the marbled tiles that lay on Heaven's ground.
Clank! The door opened and Trixie, Mum, Maze and Linda walked in.
"Lucifer!" Trix said, running at Lucifer, reaching him and hugging him tightly. He quietly grunted but didn't reject her hug.
"Hi… small human. I-I'm sorry about back there." He said.
"Sorry?" Trixie asked, looking up at him.
"What you witnessed isn't what a child should." Lucifer said.
"It's okay, I thought you were going to die." She said, hugging him a bit tighter.
"Hey Maze." He said, facing towards Mazikeen.
"Sup. Next time though, don't fight against your psychotic brother alone." She said, swinging her blades.
"Lucifer," Linda said seriously. "Would you like to talk?" She asked.
Bloody hell. He thought. "I might need it" He said, looking at everybody else, indicating that they leave, so they did.
"So anything you want to start with."
"Is.. it bad that I was longing for my death, wanting to die?" The devil asked.
"No Lucifer. You were in a bad place, and just had a series of bad events happen to you. It's okay to feel that way. What about your wings? I thought that they were only white, do you know how this happened?" She said, closing the curtains for some privacy.
"Well I don't bloody know. I was just looking over Hell, when the wings appeared, and then I got hit with parts of my throne, and started spiraling down, then Michael kicked me into my own universe. I don't know how my wings are like that, and I've given up on trying to figure out the 'why' part of it." Lucifer said.
"Perhaps Amenadiel was right, Angel's do self-actualize."
"B-but why would I.. Why would I do this to myself? Why…. Do I hate myself so much?" He said. In reality, he did hate himsefl, but he couldn't find out why. He gave up, just like how he gave up on why his wings were how they were.
"Well, do you blame yourself for something?" When he didn't answer she went on. "For example, maybe you blame yourself for loving Chloe or choosing to stay in Hell." After thinking about it, he said.
"Obviously I blame myself. I can't help but blame myself. I made myself vulnerable, and got myself tricked. I hate Hell, but I hate the other realms worse." Lucifer was now crying. "I should've just kept my walls up. I"M DROWNING DOCTOR! I have endured too much. I may be THE DEVIL but you humans and I aren't much different. I can only take so much. I want this to be over. I should've never gone to Earth. I just wan-" Lucifer couldn't finish as he passed out, his head was now resting on the wall. He was burning up.
