Chapter 31: Mission to Domino
Tezzeret had returned to his hide out but accompanied by Aqua Seneschal to travel through the caverns. He had not spoken a word about his previous battle, nor spoken with the Trix until they were alone.
The Cyberlord followed him through the caverns on a remote world without being followed until he decided to speak. "You have been quiet for some time, Tezzeret. Is something the matter."
Tezzeret halted from his track and stood for a moment. "I had to make certain we were not followed, I could not risk the Trix to hear with the headmistress becoming suspicious." Turns around to face him. "Do you recall that event when the Grimm the witches summoned had somehow became petrified?"
Remembering the event and was also curious of how that had happened. "I had assumed it was the result of the Dragon Flame."
"Or… perhaps another." Tezzeret responded, his eyes narrowed. "When I fought the keybladers, the boy who is the son of Sora. I noticed his eyes were different from our first encounter a year ago on that island. I didn't believed it at first, but I never thought it was possible."
Taken a moment to control his emotions, still remembering the glowing eyes and the power that wiped the Grimm by that power. "He may be a Drocarhen."
For the first time, Seneschal's eye was widened in shock upon hearing the name. "You are certain of this? They were suppose to be extinct centuries ago and been known for-"
"I am aware of that. I never thought it was possible but perhaps a handful of them survived and he may be a direct descendant."
"This could be troublesome. I suggest we proceed with caution and try to capture the magic from the girl somehow."
Thinking carefully of their plan without further problems, they have been patient and building their plans for years after the fall of Domino. But somehow the boy has inherited their abilities and if he found a way to control it, it would be for nothing. But there was another way that he had learned from the fool Riven after casting a spell on him. "There maybe another way to use something against him, inform the Trix to prepare themselves after a rest. The moment she is alone, we strike now before it is too late."
"Indeed. And we really shouldn't keep our associates wait any longer." Approaching the end of the tunnel, a large circular room with ancient glyphs engraved to the walls and four stone pillars in a square formation. The most interesting feature about the room were several keyblade weapons embedded to the ground, but many frozen and chained to the ground, yet some loosened with one that appears missing.
Tezzeret walked towards the closest of the chained weapons and rested his hand on the handle. Ancient keyblades of the masters who defeated him long ago, he had fought them and now that his plans were coming into place, they needed to acquire the Flame for their plans. "They thought they could keep us trapped forever. But this is just the beginning. When the Flame is in our hands, these new bearers of the keyblades will stop us. Especially that… that Drocarhen!"
Grips his hand to the handle and torn it from the spot it was embedded into, shattering the blade and scattered the pieces across the floor. He turns to face Seneschal. "Call the Trix, I think its time we proceed with our plans."
Sky, Brandon and Timmy were getting themselves ready to leave for Alfea, taking the Owl when they heard their friends were about to leave the infirmary, they were relieved to find out and wanted to check up on them before they depart.
"You think they'll be okay?" Timmy asked out of concern for the three.
The prince nodded. "For real, I just saw Taren getting up and looked better but still taking it easy after Master Yen Sid healed them in good condition.
Macbeth makes his way to them alongside the wielders with him as they meet the Specialists. "Everyone ready?"
"Yep." Brandon said, however he was nervous of breaking the ice with Stella to confess the truth. They climbed aboard the ship to fly straight towards Alfea, waiting for them as Griselda by the gates to meet them and saw the three keywielders.
"I trust their recovery went well?" She asked and concerned for their physical state.
"They wont let some injuries stop them, but will not do anything until they've fully rested by this week." Macbeth informed her.
Pleased to hear it he leads them to Fragonda's office, inside there is the man in a black coat named Lead who is the one who saved them, as well as the Winx Club.. When Taren came into the office, he didn't expect to see them so sudden and was nervous about how they'd react, especially for Bloom and Flora since they must have heard about the battle. But he had to show he was still strong and not letting the loss of the battle get the better of him when they have a serious situation.
Yen Sid entered and greets everyone. "Thank you all for coming. I am certain by now you all have questions and answers to hear. Genie." Genie appeared to salute to the Keyblade Master in a security suit. "Please be sure no one outside this office eavesdrop on our conversation."
"You got it!" He zapped himself forward to the doors outside the office he made some iron locks
"Yeah, like how is it that Tezzeret got a freaky looking keyblade?" Mal asked him.
"A creation of a knowledge lost." Yen Sid confirmed.
"So then, you could remember a lot about how Tezzeret got that weapon?" Mal asked.
Macbeth sighs. "You may not believe this, but it takes someplace around one thousand years ago. I was once the king of Scotland before receiving immortality."
"Wait, wait a second." Taren cut him off. "You mean to say not only your centuries old, but the actual Macbeth from-"
"I'd rather not be compared to the brute of the character Shakespear made." Macbeth muttered. "Half of it be true but at first tempted to take the throne until I learned of the treachery of the previous king."
"That would explain how you got so much stuff dating back centuries, and some of the portraits you claimed to be your ancestors." Mal added when she remembered exploring his mansion.
"And how you don't seem fond of Shakespear very much on the subject." Ben added.
Bloom always wondered about his name but never brought it up in case she might have been rude or just imagined it, but never thought she actually meet a living immortal who was a king. "But how are you still alive?"
"Let's just say it had something to do with the Weird Sisters, a group of witches from Earth but that's for another time. I but recently leaving my homeland and met some Keyblade masters at the time during that time, one of them was Tezzeret."
"Tezzeret was a Keyblade master?!" Lea exclaimed in shock.
"Indeed. He had a young apprentice with him who saved my life from some otherworld creatures. We met when I accidently stumbled upon a world called Kaladesh, one of the most well known realms with science and magic from its time." Macbeth explained.
"Wait, Kaladesh? That world was well known among my people for their research in Aether." Tecna shared what she knew about it. She had read about some worlds that were as advance as her home planet Zenith or possibly more beyond the Magic Dimension.
"Yes, I was among those who despite not chosen to wield a keyblade was able to travel with them as allies. Among our time during what was the previous Keyblade War that divided groups over power for Kingdom Hearts and other paths to preserve the way so fpeace and balance. Tezzeret was a technological genius who spent his time there and was trying to discover new efforts to change the war." Macbeth explained to everyone and continued. "But, what I didn't realise when he and a group he was affiliated with returned to Earth for an experiment, we suspected something was not right until that day we caught them. But the weapon he constructed was not the only horrific discovery we found."
Flashback
"Come on! We can't risk losing them after leaving Earth!" A female keyblader ahead of Macbeth and a few other wielders fought their way through the enemy forces and found a room. What they found to their horror were the traitor keybladers, fairies without their wings and their fellow comrades lying on the ground, several broke keyblades shattered and almost dead.
He sees her, the young redhead who clasped her face in shock and horror. Glaring at the group who gathered around some sort of magic with a faint glow. "What have you done?!" He exclaimed with rage and stepped forward to confront the group responsible.
Tezzeret turned and smiled. "Ah, Macbeth. Chandra. I am so gladthat you and others can join us to witness this moment."
"What have you done to them? The fairies? Their wings…." Macbeth reached out to check on the fairies with their wings gone.
"It is a tragic, but a sacrifice needed to turn the tides of the Keyblade war with the Black Circle's assistance. What we created is something that will change everything!" Tezzeret grinned with excitement and raised his keyblade. They noticed something was off about and entirely different.
"Master Tezzeret… your keyblade!" The redhead named Chandra spoke and noticed something was wrong with his keyblade, it looked different, distorted and… dark aura surrounding it. "Something is off about it."
Tezzeret did not seem bothered by their reactions and "Yes, indeed. And all I needed was to use the pieces from the keyblades and other… necessary requirements to forge these blades and now at last it's completed."
A sudden horror and realisation came to Macbeth upon seeing the broken blades and the fairies. The former king of Scotland knew the man had been searching ways to make a breakthrough of the keyblade's magic, he was not the only one as several he saw possess each one in their hands. But never thought that the man he once considered a friend would go this far. "Tezzeret… what have you done?"
"What we have been planning for years, the war between sides and both chosen by the keyblades." One of them on Tezzeret's side spoke and gestured his hand out to the fallen fairies and keybladers. "To forge new powerful blades, we had to take such measures to bring our goals to reality."
"The power to bring kingdoms to their knees and all they do is bring a meaningless moment of peace before another war happens." Another explained. "Peace is nothing but a lie and the Earth Tribe Fairies refused to see it."
"But that's against all we have been taught by the masters before us! To commit such atrocity... you forged them from the fallen!" Macbeth argued with rage of how they could do something so horrific. "The Keyblade Masters will not stand for this!"
One of them laughed as if it was amusing to them. "Like we care what they say, things are gonna change around here when we use them on several worlds!"
"Or bring utter destruction towards the very heart of worlds themselves!"
Tezzeret stepped forward towards Macbeth. "Its not too late, we can convince Demona to side with us and the Gargoyles that survive can have a future when we bring a new order to the worlds. I can give you the power to be one of us, to bring rule and order to your world."
Unable to believe what he was hearing and knew the man he fought alongside with, who treated his apprentice well after losing her family, he swore never to be a tyrant like others who lost to madness. "And use those abominations you wield? Never!"
"So will I!" Chandra stood beside him, her fists glowed with fire and eyes illuminated with anger. "I once followed your teachings but now I know the true self. I will fight to protect the innocent."
Hearing this from the former king of Scotland and his now former apprentice who shot down his offer. Turned around for a moment and gave his response. "Very well... then you can JOIN THEM!" Waved his newly forged fallen blade directly at Macbeth and his allies. He cried out in pain when a flash of light blurred his vision.
End Flashback
"When I woke up sometime later after recovery, I heard that Tezzeret and his group had been dealt with. The war was over, but at a certain cost for what the war had brought to all of us." Macbeth finished his end of the story. "I resumed my days in Europe, using the growing resources and financial skills for should the day another crisis happen, but never expected to confront him again."
Yen Sid remained quite to absorb the knowledge that had been shared and disturbed him greatly, if Tezzeret and others associated with him had found new ways to make a new weapon out of a keyblade such as theχblade or the Keyblade of Light, they could be a greater threat than he feared. To take a broken keyblade and forge it into a new, twisted form shouldn't be possible. Unless they had somehow used unknown means of dark magic not known to do such task, he will need to look into this theory from the old archives as soon as possible.
The group who heard his story could not able to believe how Tezzeret was once one of the best masters and betrayed took advantaged of their bond for the power for their own agenda. The realization that a group of rogues that Tezzeret was part of caused the downfall of the Earth Fairies and created these darker versions of the keyblades.
Sky tried to adjust to the discovery of the keyblade wielders' hidden dark chapter of their history. Fears the moment if more of them were around and could easily defeat the Eraklyon kingdom.
Stella had always wondered what it be like to have one of her own, but to take the fallen keyblades and magic from others to make one sounded horrible. The princess thought it was barbaric and horrible. "But, when I first met them and us hold their keyblades, they instantly returned to them as a demonstration that the keyblades can only choose a wielder."
"That has always been the way it's been, but unless he's found a loophole into gaining a portion of that blade's power." Yen Sid said and dreaded to think of it.
"So that means he could get ours as well?" Ben exclaimed and didn't like the sound of it.
This made Tecna disgusted of how someone could just abused magic for sinister intentions, what Tezzeret and his allies have done is a perversion of science, even Timmy couldn't believe they did such a thing.
Musa felt her stomach churn to moment she learned that they stripped the magic from fallen wielders and Fairies alike to forge their own keyblades. "Wait, you said others? Does that mean Tezzeret wasn't the only one?"
What they got from Yen Sid's response was a reluctant sigh and shook his head. "Unfortunately, the knowledge of that time has been lost to us. The exact information of the others was unknown, for centuries we had assumed they perished in the last attempt to invade the Magic Dimension with their army, but was thwarted by those who somehow prevented it and sealed them in a dimensional prison." The sorcerer shared what he knew. "That is until the recent crisis long ago when the Ancestral Witches launched their full scale assault on the kingdoms and somehow brought Tezzeret to this world after many centuries."
"That's when you and the keybladers came in, Taren's parents came to stop them." Bloom thought when she remembered from the books.
Lea nodded. "Got it in one, red. Somehow Sora found himself all the way out here, it's a long story after our previous war."
"Yeah, he beat them right? And the Company of Light." Brandon said.
"We did, Sora and the king of Domino fought him, but not exactly a fond moment." Lea sighed and saw the confused looks on their faces. "It wasn't a proud moment of what he did, only for him to somehow survive that battle and became the cyborg we sew now."
"It must have been awful." Flora says but curious to know more about Taren's parents.
"Indeed." Yen Sid agreed with her.
"But I don't understand is when the others left, you somehow ended up before they did." Sky pondered and was confused of how he was in their world when both sides built a magical barrier to temporally prevent both sides from entering each other's dimension.
Lea shrugs his shoulders and answered. "That I can explain, after the war ended well... despite how good it was, some of us felt the Magic Dimension could use some help and keep an eye on things if the old hags and Tezzeret show up again. I saw it as a chance to start a new here." He begins to scratch the back of his head feeling sheepishly embarrassed. "Also, met the women who nursed me to health despite being a low ranking witch, the two of us hitched. And finally, we had Mirta."
"Mirta is your daughter?" Flora exclaimed and shocked to hear about this.
"Yep, the daughter of Lea, a Keyblade Master." Lea smiles and taps his head for his signature phrase. "Got it memorized?"
Bloom's eyes widen and suddenly remembered the phrase Mirta said to the Trix. She could see some similarities but possibly take after her mother than him,
"Wow! Who knew Mirta could have a dad as a keyblade master!" Stella smiled.
"Um, Master Lea?" Bloom spoke to catch his attention. "I would like to say I'm sorry we got her involved, we didn't want to risk getting Mirta into trouble and-"
"It's nothing." He waved his hand to assure her. "I'm just glad she's made good friends despite the trouble she's given from Cloud Tower." Lea sighed and resisted the urge to utter the school's name. "I knew she wasn't right for that place but was afraid of hurting her cause she only had one friend. And she just cast her aside for those damned Trix." If he ever saw Lucy again, he's gonna give her a piece of his mind upsetting his daughter. But the Trix will regret the day they made him angry.
Flora stepped forward to speak. "Not to worry, sir. Mirta is in good care and we'll do everything we can to help her."
Lea nodded and smiles. "Good to hear. Just make certain she's doing okay before I go up and check on her. "
"Right now we need to think of protecting Bloom." Griselda brought up to, raising confusion among the teens about Bloom.
"What about her?" Mal pondered. Possibly still affected from that last fight with the Trix.
Bloom started to become nervous with a small sheepish smile on her face when rubbing her arm behind her back with all eyes on her. "Uh, well… you see they found something about my past. And uh, well the thing is I'm really…" Trying to fight off the flush on her face. "It turns out I'm really the princess of Domino."
"Wait a second, you're… a princess?" Stella was stunned to find out about this.
Genie popped out of thin air while holding some 2x4 equipment. "Hey, guys did I miss anything while I was fixing up some security?'
"Yeah, Bloom just said she was the princess of Domino." Timmy said.
"Oh, that's okay, just making sure I didn't-" Suddenly paused and looked at the group. "What-who-where?" Pulled out a script out of his sash and brushed threw it. "OH! Right here! Boy, someone's gonna be surprised." Genie mumbled to himself.
Mal was surprised by this news. "Who knew you be the lost child of-" Suddenly she remembered something from a while ago and turned to Taren and Ben. "Guys! You recall that time in the Taxi from the fates?"
"How could we forget? Three hags with only one eye to share and drive a cab… Badly." Taren would never forget and almost developed a fear of driving.
"No kidden, you have to be desperate or insane to ask a cab from them." Genie said.
The Winx couldn't help but shiver at the thought of the description.
Mal rolled her eyes. "No, what they said about a prophecy they gave us?" She remembered their words and written them down for research.
"Wait, a prophecy? You mean they see into the future?" Tecna asked her.
"Yeah, that's what the Fates are as in the Greek legend." Mal stated. "Tried to find out what they mean. '"To find the flame that lies within, the last child of Domino is whom you seek.' That meant anything until when Bloom could be the last child who survived the destruction of Domino."
"So that means Bloom would find the Dragon Flame?" Flora pondered.
"Um, guys." Bloom called for their attention. "I don't need to find it… cause, I have it this whole time."
Everyone was startled to find out about this that Bloom had the power of the legendary magic this entire time and never realised it until now. It started to make a whole lot of sense when she started to have bizarre dreams, visions, the magical outburst during the battles and reasons for the Trix coming after her.
"That explains all that's happened to you these past months." Sky confirmed. "I heard stories that only the Sparks family had been the royal vessales of the Flame through generations."
"So all this time it was Bloom who had it." Timmy added the confirmation.
Bloom nodded. "It was a shock to me as well, the one before was my sister Daphne, she's been trying to contact me for all this time but couldn't reach out to her to know about the magic I have."
"And that is perhaps what the Trix and Tezzeret are after." Faragonda spoke and walked around her desk. "If they get their hands on this power, they could follow in their ancestors' footsteps to break the balance of power not only in the Magic Dimension, but other realms and maybe Kingdom Hearts if that ever happens. But what Tezzeret has in store is uncertain, we cannot allow them to get it."
Not everyone liked the idea of the witches getting their interest in Kingdom Hearts if their desire for power is beyond their limit of madness. The only one that the wielders once knew that reached that goal and almost succeeded was Xehanort, a reminder to prevent history from repeating itself.
"Easy to say without help. But we need a way for her to use it better and the only one to know is her sister, but she's trapped somewhere and her home is frozen in ice." Taren mentions. "So, any clue to how we're gonna get there?
"And an ironic twist that had they not stepped in, Tezzeret and his forces would have obtained the power for themselves." Macbeth said. "But whatever he's planning would spell disaster for us all." Turns to the trio for anything about the prophecy. "Was there anything else the Fates have told you?"
"Well they did in three parts of the prophecy, I think um…" Taren tried to remember what else. "Wait, yeah. 'When its power is unleashed, so shall the darkness be free. But with the strength as many can challenge them." Quoting from the words he heard.
"The last one was a little hazy for us, but hopefully comes back soon. I think maybe it means if the Dragon's Flame is released, something bad will happen." Ben believed.
"Not unless we can try and contact Daphne, she could give us some hints how to stop this." Taren gave a suggestion.
"Who, unfortunately has limited contact to Bloom and that's not easy when she needs to be in a deep sleep." Mal brought up as everyone almost forgot about.
"Perhaps, there is a way." The headmistress turned to Bloom. "There may still be a connection between you and your sister, and to do that is to go back to Domino."
"To Domino? But why?" Bloom asked her.
"Because it was the very place the Ancestral Witches destroyed Domino in the first place." Faragonda told her. She waved her hands and created a spherical shaped projection, revealing to the group a frozen world. "Somewhere in the remnants of the royal palace. You might find some clue, a shred of information to help you find the answers to use the Dragon's Flame against the Witches before they get their hands on it."
To given the chance to visit her birth place for the first time in her life, but knowing it be nothing but snow and ice, all those who lived there lost or frozen by the Witches' spell, even her birth parents.
"I want to go there and find some answers and reach out to Daphne. But I'll need someone to help." Bloom said and turned to Taren.
Taren caught on to her statement. "Me? You sure?"
She nods her head to confirm her choice while trying to resist the urge to blush as she can be with him. "I would want my friends to come but thought we could go, maybe something that's also to help with your powers."
"I for one think this is a good idea! But if you need help just call us and we'll rush right over!" Stella said and would have gone with her but as long as she wasn't alone.
Seeing as she made her decision and nods his head, Yen Sid spoke out. "Very well. But this will be dangerous and to make certain no one follows you, take your medallion and be on your guard should anything happen." He advised her. "I have taken precautions if they tried anything to lure you to them such as the safety of your parents."
"Really? Are they alright?" Bloom asked to know if something happened to her parents on Earth.
"They are both safe, but thought to lesson the burden off your shoulders." The sorcerer told her which made Bloom relieved to here. "Now, I believe you should get ready and head towards the simulation chamber in a few minutes. I will return to alert the others and wish you the best of luck."
Bloom nods once more before she leaves, confident to do everything she can to stop the Trix and Tezzeret. "I will and thank you."
The group agreed and made their exit but Taren turned to Macbeth about something. "Hey, Macbeth? The keyblade bearer named Chandra? What happened to her?"
"Not sure, she vanished after the war we went our separate ways and I remained on Earth for centuries." Macbeth responded.
He had hoped to know more but thought to leave it for now, uncertain why but curious to know about that name he heard somewhere. "Oh, just thought to ask that's all."
Making their way through the halls to leave the school for some air until Brandon stopped to reach out to Stella's hand. "Stella, there's something I need to tell you important and should've come clean."
Surprised and almost worried when she looked at his expression. "What's the matter, Sky?"
The squire sighed and decided to confess. "The truth is, I'm not really Sky. I'm not really a prince. We swapped our identities in order to keep him safe on orders from his father."
Bloom flinched and looked at how surprised Stella was, along with the other girls since she found out from Sky himself that day.
"Wait, you mean… you lied-" Stella thought until Brandon reached out to her shoulders.
"No! Apart from my name, my feelings for you are real and never intended to hurt you." Brandon proclaimed. "I thought it was right to say it in case something happened after what happened to our friends and spoke with the prince since you all deserved the truth."
"He's right." Sky spoke up. "I knew it wasn't right to keep it a secret but didn't want to hurt you, if you should be mad at someone its me."
Waiting for her reaction, whether she might be upset or angry at Brandon for lying to her.
"Well, I kinda figured as much. Stella said and smiles at him. "But who cares if you're a prince or not! You fought those Grimm and Trix to help us, and I don't mind one bit." None of them didn't expect to see that but relieved she forgiven him, but not expected to see her pull the startled Brandon for a kiss.
"Okay, did not see that coming." Ben said.
"Yeah, no kidding." Timmy agreed.
"Aw, ain't it sweet?" Genie watched and always had a soft spot for romance.
Musa looked to see Mal looking down and had not said a word. "Mal, is something the matter? If it's about Mirta, you don't have to blame-"
"Its not that." The purple haired looks to the rest. "I think I should say something… you all should know." Not daring to show any hesitation. "How many of you know of a sorceress known as… Maleficent?"
The mention of the dark fairy's name made Taren and Ben shiver upon the mention of her name, even Genie started to quiver. "I still get the goosebumps whenever I hear her name."
"As in the most feared dark fairy from your world?" Flora asked.
"Yes." Mal looked at them all, afraid of saying anything if they know the truth but needed to clear it out before it's too late. "You see… the truth is I learned something about my heritage during my time under my aunts' care. You see, the truth is about Maleficent…. She's my mother."
She closed her eyes and too afraid to see their faces, thinking they were shock, disgusted or maybe afraid of her. Mal had never told this to anyone and now wishing she could have been someone else or never knew about her mother who every known world was relieved of her downfall. Taren no doubt would hate her as his father and her mother had been enemies many years ago. Ben? He would probably not want to speak to her again as his father rounded up the remaining villains to be locked up on the penal island, and probably send her to that place.
"Yeah, we figured."
Blinks her eyes and looked in shock towards the smiling Ben and a surprisingly calm for hearing about her secret. The others seem neutral and almost confused, but Genie had his bottom jaw hung and looked dumbfounded. But not as much as Mal who was blinking, thinking she must have misheard them. "… wha? What?"
Ben shrugged his shoulders. "I said, we already figured it out on the first day. It wasn't that heard to find out who your mother was. Especially that name and the purple look."
"Oh." She thought until a moment later of what Ben said to her. "Wait… the first day?! And you knew the whole time didn't say a word a bout it?" Trying her best not to sound so alarmed of how he figured it out so easily while looking at the snickering prince like a fish.
"I sort of found out a little later… months but never figured out until that form you had on my birthday." Taren sheepishly scratched the back of his head, not wanting to admit he never thought possible. "Just never thought THE Maleficent be your mom of all people."
"You think that's a shocker, wonder who her dad is." Genie said but had some idea of his own.
Mal was in shock and couldn't believe how they knew and never told her. "I-I just assumed… well, you know how… Maleficent being the most ruthless villain ever known and me being her daughter would have-"
"You thought we would treat you like her?" Ben couldn't help but laugh softly and smiles at her. "It doesn't matter who your mother was, your you Mal and we care deeply for ya."
"Even if you drive some of us crazy for the enjoyment." Taren muttered before being elbowed softly by Flora and Bloom crossed her arms. "Which doesn't change a thing."
"Yeah, and you've been by our side ever since, especially how Mirta told us the time you stood up for her towards the Trix. Despite us having differences since we met, you've proven to be a better witch than those three." Stella gave a supported smile to the purple haired wielder.
Mal began to realise that everyone present were not bothered at all by her heritage, she always kept herself private from getting too close to them in fear that they will see her differently should the moment they found out about her secret. But instead, they accepted Mal for who she is and all the times they've been there before. Overwhelmed with feelings she never thought possible. "I… I really don't know how to respond…I mean." Flushes and shakes her head.
"Something going on here?" Lea called as he walked by them. "Sorry if I'm interrupting anything, but got a call and heading to Cloud Tower. The headmistress gave an all clear once she saw our solid evidence on the Trix."
"About time! They had it coming since day one!" Stella never thought to be glad to see them behind bars.
Lea didn't seem to share her reaction and narrowed his eyes. "Don't get too lucky, they've been with a very dangerous person and who knows what they've picked up from him. I'm sending some forces with me to assist Griffin to apprehend them."
"Taren's got his hands full on a mission, maybe we'll tag along?" Ben offered.
Lea shook his head. "No need, you need to stay here in case something happens."
"Then you gotta need someone who knows them than anyone in that school." Mel said. "I'm fully healed now and want to make them pay for what they've done. If you think you can stop me, try it."
Lea would have considered declining her offer, but clearly she wasn't backing down and smiles. "Alright, but don't cry to me if you get hurt."
Mal smirks and puts her hands on her hips with confidence. "Like that ever stopped me."
"We'll head back and get ready, my parents will arrive soon and need to alert them of the danger ahead." Sky mentioned. "It won't be easy, he can be a little stubborn."
"Wait? Which one are you on about?" Lea asked him out of curiosity.
"King Erendor of Eraklyon." Brandon answered.
They noticed him groaning and uneasy for some reason. "Stubborn looking? Hotheaded? Always wears the crown?"
The prince sighed and nods his head. "Yeah, that's him."
"Oh great, guess this be my lucky day not to meet him on this day." Lea said.
"Wait, you know the king of Eraklyon?" Stella asked the keyblade master, but no doubt thinking they must have a history back in the war years ago.
"Well… I may have a history with him." Becoming a little uneasy and nervously coughed.
"That's good, isn't it?" Taren asked him. "I mean, if you know him then he can listen to you."
"I wouldn't count on that, kid. We do have a history together, but not exactly as… friends." Lea implied.
"Acquaintance?" Timmy asked.
"Not quite."
"Colleagues?" Ben guessed.
"Warmer."
"Enemies?" Musa asked.
"That's the one!" Lea confirmed with Genie popping up a sign that spelled "Correct."
"Wait, what?" Taren was surprised to hear about this along with his friends. "How?"
"Oh, I call back a few times on the reports and usually we speak to each other. But one time many years ago, you bring up an argument in a dinner party, and suddenly you're placed on the additional list for life!"
Sky could not believe what he was hearing, but somehow sounded like his father. "You got to be kidding me."
To hear about this new information, the girls and the keybladers wondered if Mirta knew about this.
"So, if you see your old man, best not to say a word that I'm around. Least not yet." Lea requested.
"Well we better get going." Taren said before leaving to get himself ready. "I'll catch you up later just need to get some of my things."
Brandon nodded. "Okay, just watch your back out there, heard Domino is a nasty place."
Making his way towards the Red Foundtain ship and gather supplies needed for the trip, it was fortunate the ship was carrying the stuff for trips and begins packing. But he was so nervous, not because of the mission or to find out if anything to know about his strange powers. It was just gonna be him and Bloom, wondering how he's going to say anything and also think of Flora. Needed someway to talk to them now or never.
Genie appeared beside him. "Hey, T! Heard you going on a mission with a girl. Who just so happens to be a princess." Winks at him. "Who would have guessed that."
"Yeah, no kiddin, I mean I just found out my mom was royalty before. Was my dad so nervous when he found out?" Taren asked Genie to know a bit about his father back when he was a kid.
"Oh, he was so nervous that he couldn't say anything. Besides being one of the princesses of the Hearts, she still holds a connection to that magic like her keyblade." Genie told him before zapping a board with the weather. "Seems the weather this afternoon will be chilly with extra snow. So, I have the equipment for my pals to be ready."
He zaps his fingers at Taren who carried a large heavy bag, skis, shovels and a pair of goggles. Somehwat feeling a little heavy to carry. "Hmm, maybe some hot coco as well, mustn't go cold without a hot drink! Oh, a pair of gloves, or heavy coats. Or a mobile heater. OH! and maybe jet skis like in the James Bond movies and-"
"Genie!" Taren called out while trying to not drop the whole pile of stuff that was building up in his arms and could barely stand straight. "I think... this might... be a little... too much." Struggling to stand with so much to hold.
"Oops, sory just gotten carried away." Genie smiled sheepishly. "Just looking out for my buds. Oh, hi, Flora."
Thinking he was trying to catch him off guard or a joke but not buying it. "Oh, very funny, Genie. I'm not falling for oldest trick in the book."
"Need any help?"
Looks up and surprise to see Flora was smiling and giggling, he was caught off guard and reacted in shock. "Flora!" Before he could say anything, his feet gave way and fell with the heavy load falling on him and Genie. Luckily nothing was broken or bruised, but embarressed with a pot over his head.
Genie popped out and wobbled to stand before shaking his head to clear himself. "Okay, maybe we kinda gone a little overboard. I uh, better go, later T!" He vanishes before Taren could call for help but now left alone with Flora.
Flora couldn't help but laugh softly and reached out to pullt he pan up with a mischievous grin on her face. "A little over packed?"
The redhead flushes and somewhat lost for words to say. "I-Uh...w-well, that is..."
"Don't worry, I'm guessing he's just worried as we are." She reached out her hand to him to help get on his feet. Taren took it softly and pushes upwards.
"Guess I was surprised to find out Bloom was a princess. I mean, I bet none of us saw that coming."
"Yeah, but also sad how she lost her family and home to the witches." She said and felt sorry for Bloom.
Taren could relate to that as his mother once lost her parents and home before she finally returned to Radiant Garden with the help of her friends. If Daphne knew about the Dragon's Flame, maybe she can help find out about his and what was happening to him. "I hope we can find a way to save her home, least then she can see it restored one day."
"Me too, it just feels aweful." She responded and started to feel nervous, holding her arm from the side and feels her cheeks flushes. "I just wanna wish you good luck and come back safe."
Taren could see she was worried for him and also cares for her and Bloom very much, he needed to say something now. "Listen, I need to tell you something and Bloom about-"
"Stop right there." She butted in with her hand held up. "You just focus on keeping Bloom safe and don't get yourself hurt again, we'll talk after you come back from Domino." Flora told him, not sure what it was she wanted to talk about which made him more nervous and worried.
"Yeah, but I... well the thing is... ugh, damn I can't think straight!" Frustrated and wanted to express his feelings without hurting either of them. "Sorry, just so nervous that I might mess things up."
Looking at him feeling down and had been terrible worried since she and her friends found out what happened. Flora wanted to be there but heard of their recovery, but still wanted to least show her concern for her friends. "Maybe this will help you think clearly."
Not certain what she had in mind, Taren was about to ask when she suddenly reached out to cup his cheeks and became real nervous. "Uh, Flora what are yo-umph!" Without a second his mind went completely blank and his body froze when she closed her eyes and cut him off with a kiss on the lips with her's. Taren never experienced anything like this before and the first time ever to be kissed. The sudden feel of unease and worry all just swept aside in favour of a warm feeling of care and love, his heart racing so fast and suddenly kisses her back a little. His body acted on its own, tempted to reach out and hold her in his arms and never let go.
Flora didn't expect to do something like this when she wanted to say something about her feelings for him, offer support and now showing it by kissing him. The feel of his against her own sent shivers down her spine, she had dated once but never gone to the moment of falling in love. She reached out and held him around the neck and felt the strong warmth of his body, feeling so safe and secure. She felt his lips responded and flushed, her heart pounding and wanting to move closer to press her body agianst his, almost wanting to experience more for her love.
"Ah-hem!"
The moment they had was suddenly interrupted when they noticed a grinning Lea resting upon the side with his arms crossed. Both of them flushed and never noticed anyone was around. "Sorry if I'm ruining a.. romantic moment? But was coming over to contact Red Fountain."
Taren and Flora released each other, completely flushed and tried to act normal. "Lea! I- uh, she sort of... tripped-no I mean caught her."
"We just had a moment and suddenly... it's not what you think!" She suddenly cried out and flushed, this made her feel so embarressed and not thinking straight.
Lea chuckled and laughed to see the looks on their faces. "Not to worry. not my business but thought maybe you should head over to the simulator." But then looked at them for a moment with a coy smile on his face. "Of course, I could tell them to wait a little more-"
"I'm ready now and so should you." Taren marched over to pass the grinning flame Keyblader. "Not a word what you saw! And not to my parents."
Flora would also want to keep this a secret until they felt ready, this never happened to her before and especially being caught kissing by someone. She wanted to tell him about something important but thought to wait until he was more calm. Suddenly noticed a pan ahead of Taren who was just about to step into it. "Taren, watch your foot on that-"
Too late and he tripped and tumbled forward, falling out of the hatch and flipped over. "I'm okay! Meant to do that!" Quickly straighting himself up, still flushed and possibly still surprised by that kiss he had that now clouded his mind. Walking slightly off balance while making his way back to the school.
Lea watched the scene and shook his head. "So it's true, he's just like his dad."
"You mean like adventures, brave and kind?" Flora asked him as the possible traits Taren inherited.
Shrugged his shoulders. "That, but more of a goofball, no offense to your boyfriend."
Flora flushed and felt her heart skipped a beat when he called Taren her 'boyfriend'. She suddenly kissed him before she could get to explain what happened earlier between her and Bloom. "Uh, well, we kinda... I better go. I'll tell Mirta you came by!" Runs off and waves to him.
"I'll be back soon, tell Mal I'll meet her in Cloud Tower later." He told her and resumes his mission. Thinking that kid is lucky to have someone to care for and can tell that Mirta was in good heads. Much as he wanted to see her and what happened, but if he did his emotions will get the better of him and do something he might regret. Reaches into his pocket to call someone.
"Hey, buddy? It's me, yeah, just needed an update on teh Trix." He spoke through the phone and listened. "Good, sorry for making you go through with it but be worth it when I get my fiery hands on them. Just keep a close watch of what Tezzeret and his pal are up to."
So now the secrets have been revealed of Tezzeret's past and connection to Macbeth. Based a little on the episode Mission to Domino but a little diverge, I wanted to include the final exam but thought how it be different when the situation is now at stake. For those who don't know Chandra is a MTG character, a planeswalker who I have ideas for later. Taren will come along with Bloom and both will find out about their powers, and seems he's just got his first kiss... until it was spoiled hehe. What she wanted to say to him? Leave that to you to imagine.
For what I had for the villains and the corrupted keyblade Tezzeret possesses, I wanted to think of something that had for awhile and go outside the box while looked into the lore so give some hints of what happened and possible fate of the Earth Fairies in the past.
Hope you like it and have more surprises of what will happen! Just keep a look out for the next chapter. Any ideas are welcome, critism also, but no 'Guest' prefer writers who I know and can contact on PM.
