Chapter 54: The Unchained
Taren was in the gym doing some training and spar with Brandon to keep his combat skills up, but also to be ready the next time they were under attack. They had to be ready for new missions they would receive since Saladin was told of the possible crisis that made him turn pale of the thought of a mad man like Kefka to start a conflict with the Kaiju civilizations when they have bigger problems with Darkar. The headmaster accepted the proposal to allow the keybladers to go on missions to search for the artefacts with those they choose to join, providing only few they can spare should the Trix attack again.
It was reasonable to deal with, but the students had no idea why the Trix suddenly decided to attack out of random. Catch the Red Fountain school by surprise? The Pixies? Or something else they were after. After the battle with the monster, it was clear they needed to keep up their training to be ready.
Both exchanged blows using a barrage of fists and kicks at each other, trying to find an opening, Brandon catch Taren's arm and hurtled the surprised redhead over the side and pinned him down.
"Ah, I give! I give!" Taren patted on the mat and was freed from Brandon's grip.
Codatorta, who was watching the spar nodded to call it a breather for them. "Good work, but try to remain focus Strife. Good work everyone, get some rest."
Brandon gave his hand out to him to help the keybearer on his feet and take a break and make their way back to the changing room. "You look a little distracted, bud, something up?"
Taren admitted he might have let his mind drift during the session. "Yeah, you could say that. Was thinking after that battle we barely won and didn't do well as we fought."
"But we beat that monster when we worked together." Timmy said when putting on his casual clothes.
"Except it wasn't actually destroyed, Lea believed it simply vanished before we could finish it off." Brandon told him. "All we know it could have been a trick set up by the Trix to get whatever they were after."
"Not to mention we have to worry if they know anything about the artefacts we were told. I mean, one that can control an entire creature civilization, imagine whole five of them." Taren gave a thought which terrified them of the thought if Kefka were to go after them, no doubt the Trix would see it as an opportunity to take over the Magic Dimension.
Sky didn't like the sound of that one bit. "Okay, that I don't like to see happening."
Taren nods his head. "Which I talked to Saladin that going on missions with the Winx and Specialists would be a chance to build up more team work."
"Sounds like a plan to me." Riven said. "As long as I come along for some action."
"Maybe have a look at the journals I brought with me to help ideas." Taren said as he was fully changed.
Timmy heard him and asked. "What journals?"
Realised he never mentioned it before to them earlier, which he thought to have told them. "Oh, right. Uh, well we found some ancient vault that was buried by the people who came to Destiny Islands and was used by few like my family that have recorded their experiences and adventures. I sort of thought maybe be a big help learn something what my ancestors learned to get better with my keyblade."
"Wait, seriously? And you were gonna bring this up when?" Brandon didn't seem to be surprised when it was usually Taren who seemed sometimes dense and has his mind elsewhere.
"Hey, maybe it a good idea to find some information about the artefacts or any worlds they visited." Sky had thought about it. "You got them with you?"
"Well yeah… but kinda been a little… messy." Taren chuckled sheepishly.
"You call this a little messy?" Sky groaned by Taren's choice of words and saw the whole table covered in so many books that appeared almost old but well preserved, but looked really a total mess. They pondered how he kept the place clean with so much stuff lying around.
"Okay, so it's a lot of mess." Taren had to admit it. And explained his reasons to his friends. "But I had to know more about my family's history."
"Didn't you say you can communicate with them through the use of the Dragon's Flame? Wouldn't have saved time?" Timmy recalled while he was looking through one of the books, intrigued to know of what was written and the sketches the previous users had written.
"It would, but I haven't fully gained the idea of how, it just happens any time they come to contact me." Taren explained and found it annoying how despite having such a powerful magic he hasn't scratched the surface of its limit. "Not as easy as you think but least they left some journals to save the trouble."
"In other words, both you and Bloom are still trying to figure it out." Brandon surmised.
"Well… yeah." Taren reluctantly admitted. "The problem is even if I did connected with my predecessors, not even sure if they know anything about those artefacts with no clues on how to find them."
"Uh, actually I think I might have a solution to that." Timmy drew their attention by pulling out a small device that resembled a tablet. "Back when we were attacked by those Kaiju, I gathered some data on the energy called mana that's similar to magic and energy which they're connected to from their world."
"You mean the ones that attacked our schools a while back?" Riven brought up. "And what's that got to do with it?"
"I was getting to that. It was also in fact that creature called Aqua Seneschal was one of them after some research along with those Cyber Viruses Tecna brought over, but he's not been seen for some time." Adding the information about one of their enemies which gave a surprise to them and why the Cyber Lord would be willing to risk breaking the Accord to work with Tezzeret. Timmy continued on with his explanation. "The artefacts were forged by them and said to control the respective creatures of certain civilizations, so maybe they could have the same signature we can find."
"So we can use that to locate them?" Sky realised what he meant. "That might actually work."
"What are we waiting for? We should get going!" Taren was ready for it.
But before they can do anything, Timmy held stopped them when something else he had to explain. "Hold up, before we do anything we need to a complete scan of a creature's mana. Which means… we need a creature to summon to make it work.
"Uh, much as that could work but we don't have any in the Magic Dimension, Timmy. And also there's the Accord that we can't summon them in our dimension." The prince reminded him to avoid causing an incident.
The keyblader knew he was right, but needed some way to make it work. When he noticed one of the books with a picture that caught his attention with an idea came to his head. "True, but doesn't mean a keyblader can't."
"Like what? Summon a creature yourself, Strife?" Riven retorted, until he noticed the grin on the redhead's face that showed he meant it. "Oh no, he's not serious."
Sky could only sigh and nod his head when all the times they have known him. "He's serious."
"You can't be serious? You barely just summoned a tiny dragon and you want to try a bigger beasty?" Lea had thought this was a bad idea when he first heard about it and tried to talk the kid out of it. Making their way to the arena to perform the summoning while Lea and the headmaster were with them.
"We're not summoning big and beasty, it be something small and easy to handle." Taren explains to the chakram wielder for what he was intending to do. "Besides the keyblade bearers aren't bound to their accord and serve as peacekeepers, right? Plus, we can do that on any world outside the Magic Dimension, but don't have time when we have no idea when Kefka or the Trix will find the first artefact."
Saladin sighed and seemed reluctant to such a plan when he heard of this from the Specialists. "Much as I would agree with you master Lea, but I'm afraid Taren is correct when we have little choice if we are to prevent a greater catastrophe and to stop them." Turns to the young bearer to give his response. "As much I do not like this, but we have little of choice if we are to stop our enemies from gaining the advantage. The Wielders of the keyblades do not apply to our accord and this could be an alternative solution."
"That's why I figured we have the specialists ready and keep the creature we summon distracted long enough to scan their mana. So you won't have to worry when we'll send it back to where it came from once we're done." Taren suggested which would put them at ease. He found several from the journals while studying the summoning magic to help bring them in.
"Sounds like a good idea to me. Not like a small critter could do no harm." Sky seemed to agree to it.
Saladin and Lea shared a mutual thought and nodded to agree to their idea. "Very well, but I suggest we have your team prepared and use your Titans, never underestimate the creatures of the Kaiju Realm." The headmaster advised them, not wanting the students to get hurt.
They took his word with the Specialists brought out their Titans as Taren summoned his Digimon to his side, taking their positions within the arena as the barrier was used to prevent the creature they summon would escape. Saladin, Codatorta, along with Lea were with them to be sure with Taren in the centre. The head teacher wanted to be sure his students were prepared, and noticed a strange looking gauntlet in Taren's right hand. "What's he wearing? A gauntlet?"
"We found it in the vault, according to one of the journals it's a gauntlet to channel one's mana to summon a creature from another realm." Lea explained to him about th gauntlet. "It can be used to activate with one's will and can also control the creature for duelling, said to have been forged by an order of duelists."
Saladin became intrigued to learn there are those who crafted such devices that he never heard from, but then he wondered how it came into their possession. "And might I ask how it was in his family's possession?"
"From what I know… it belonged to his grandfather. Valgard Strife." Lea told them, drawing the surprise looks from the teachers to know the name of the user and also the late grandfather of Taren.
Saladin then called out for their attention before they begin. "Remember, focus on the creature you wish to summon. I'm sure you found one that you have chosen, Taren?"
The redhead nods his head and worn the gauntlet he brought with him and wanted to know more. "Here goes." Focusing his mind and had chosen a creature he knew be safe to summon. Clearing his thoughts of distraction and used the performances from the journals to use.
Then all of a sudden, a vision came to his mind, he saw a large beast in the shade, two long curved horns and one in the centre, spikes protruding from the body and chains attached to each wrist. It's eyes glowed and ruptured in flames. Without knowing, his eyes glowed and his body was operating on its own when he began the summoning.
"Tatsurion the Unchained!"
Swinging his body with his arms spread out, making a high kick and thrusts his right hand forward. A symbol of a red flame in the centre of a gear manifested, emerging through it came a towering creature from his vision, it was a large dragon-like creature but lacked the wings, red scales with brown stripes, two tusks from the upper jaw, a smaller horn growing from the top of its snout, and the end of its tail was light green tail spike. It wore black armor and wrist gauntlets with gold trims.
Taren had no idea what happened, but he suddenly summoned a creature that was much more powerful than he expected.
The Specialists and the teachers did not expect this to happen and were taken by surprise.
"That's… not supposed to happen, right?" Timmy thought something was off.
"I thought we were going for something small and harmless, this guy looks like he can take on an troll." Riven said.
Sky wasn't sure what happened but they summoned a creature and got one with mana. "I dunno, but we gotta be ready if he can't handle this one."
Taren was not sure what happened, one minute he was ready to summon a creature then out of nowhere his mind was briefly blacked out and then this huge beast was standing before him. And did not look very happy to be here.
"What is this place? Whoever brought Tatsurian the Unchained here will pay!" The creature called Tatsurian growls and found himself in an unfamiliar world. Facing the nervous Taren until he shook his head and conjured the Light's Rebellion to his hand.
"Look… Uh, Tatsurion, right? I know your confused but this was not intentional or any-"
"A Keyblade?" He heard the creature spoke, and knew what his keyblade was? Taren did not expect this. "And those gauntlets. So you summoned me here?" Tatsurion glares towards the teen, slowly marching towards him on all four, forcing Taren who was backing up.
Codatorta didn't like this at all. "He's in trouble, we gotta stop this."
But Lea stopped him with his hand held up to block him. "No, this could be our chance and besides. When have you ever seen the kid run from a fight with a monster."
Saladin would agree, though this wasn't exactly as they planned, but hopes the boy knows what he is doing. "And we also need to keep the creature distracted until Timmy has completed his task to scan it's mana. Once that is done, we can return it back home safely."
"I know the legends of fleshlings who not only magic away my kind into battle, but also those who wield those magic weapons and travel to other worlds." Taren listens to the creature as it continued to trail him, but could not do this forever with limited space of the arena. "Why have you brought me here?"
"I-I don't know, alright? Not how it looks, I was suppose to summon another creature for something important, but suddenly… your name came to my head." Given his most honest answer he can give. "But look, we just gotta keep you here long enough and can send-"
"Your magic will not hold me, fleshling! For I am Tatsurion the Unchained!" Not going their way as Tatsurion lashed out at the keybearer, ready to strike him down, Taren took action and used Quack to throw him off guard and sprinted off to gain some distance. Only blunted from the attack of the rocks that struck him, but did not slow him down enough and began chasing. Channeling his energy into his feet to build up speed and jumped over the coming claw to the side, the kaiju spun his body and used his spiked tail to attack, however he was struck from the side by several shots, aimed by Timmy with his new pistol, equipped with a blade attached to it, the blade glowed and shot another, but this time Tatsurion used his armor to take the blow and now became annoyed.
Taren then decided to try using the gauntlet to control him. "I don't wanna fight you, but I will defend myself if need be." Taren grunted and also to protect his friends.
Tatsurion growls and makes his way towards the shooter along with the winged creature he never seen before, Icarus flapped his wings when ready to fight and protect his summoner. But Taren would not let the creature hurt them.
"But I can't let you do more harm as well!" Taren then reached out his hand towards the creature, channelling the mana into the gauntlet to gain control over him. It had worked and stopped the large creature from taking another step.
Timmy was relived and appreciated the timing now he can begin his part. "That's it! Just a little longer." His tablet was doing its work to register the mana, but they noticed the creature was not going to submit so easily.
"Uh, I think he's getting a little mad guys." Brandon held his phantoblade to his grip.
Tatsurion struggled to break free, this human who wields the keyblade, but also uses mana to control him. Despite his efforts, the creature refuses to obey to his will. "I… am, Tatsurion… THE UNCHAINED!" Yelled out his name to all and used the amount of strength of his will to break free from Taren's gauntlet, charging right towards the Specialists to attack them and their Titans.
Brandon and Riven nodded to do something.
"Metagolem, block his path!"
"Go for it, Lindorm!"
The stone giant Titan rushed towards the creature and threw his body towards him, the dragonoid roars and jumps onto its shoulders to lay a punch into the helmet, but did not see Lindorm spinning like a buzz saw and collided into him, sending Tatsurion flying across the arena and bruised.
"Okay, that should be enough, let's make sure he stays down." Brandon was ready to give his Titan new commands.
"No wait!" Taren told them to stop with his arms held up. "I didn't summon him just to be hurt."
"Are you crazy?" Riven thought he was nuts after the creature attacked them. "It was ready to have you for its meal, now you want to be pals with it?"
"He was obviously confused and angry cause I summoned him here against his will, remember what our mission is?" Taren reminded him of what they were doing.
Riven had to admit he was right and almost forgot, only to hear stories of the creatures being wild and dangerous in the past, no doubt he let the idea get the better of him.
"Should we stop this? Summoning a creature is one thing, but to start a battle?" Codartota suggested to end this and must be enough data on the mana.
But Saladin had an idea and decided to allow this to continue. "Not so fast, my friend. Perhaps we should see this through, after all it has been centuries since we have seen a Kaiju in battle and allow the students to learn from this experience."
"Besides, you wanted them to be better so this be a chance for them to train." Lea also agreed and wanted to see how this goes.
For Tatsurion, he was surprised the young keybearer would stand by him and was forgiven for taking him away from his homeworld. He looked at the boy and his scent seemed to remind him of something long ago. Yet, he was a creature of the Kaiju realm, more to it, a dragon of the Fire Civilization and will not back down from a battle. Slowly getting up on his feet and recovered. "Step aside, keywielder."
If he was to battle these creatures, he will accept it. A chain extended from his gauntlet and used as a whip and lasso to snare Lindorm's arm, giving it a strong pull and tossed it about in the area until it crashed into the wall.
Riven glared at the creature and was ready for another round. "Okay, big guy, you want a fight now? Well you got it." His Titan rises from the ground and also shared its seeker's mutual anger to attack the creature.
Taren knew there was no point of talking him out of this when he was like this, he was surprised by the attack Tatsurion used on the draconic Gaia-Titan, but can he be able to challenge both Titans at the same time?
"Are you going to stand there all day, or are you going to fight?"
"Huh?" Taren glanced over to Tatsurion who asked him, now facing him to ask if he was going to fight. Maybe he will need his help to how to fight them and a chance to work with the creatures. "R-right, yeah." Having an idea of how to do this and grabbed onto his horn, climbing over his head and sat on his back where there was a ring on his back to use for a grip.
"What are you doing?" Tatsurion questioned the Keybearer and surprised by his stunt.
"Fighting alongside you. If you're going up against Metagolem and Lindorm, you need to know how to fight a Titan." Taren explained, obvious the fire creature was unfamiliar with that term.
Tatsurion was about to respond that he did not need a human to use him a s amount but had no time when the rock giant rushed towards them. "Dodge!" Taren yelled, but he didn't listen and went head on for the strick, leapt towards Metagolem and clawed at it, leaving only some damage to its chest and almost had him had Taren not used Lightnining to save them. "Why didn't you dodge? He almost had you."
Tatsurion over such tactic he disapproved of. "Dodging is for cowards!"
Clearly this was much different when working with a Digimon as they work well together with their partners through bonds and friendships, the creatures of the Kaiju Realm on the other hand."It's not cowardly, it helps to avoid a moving target when you can't hit them." Taren tried to reason with him, but doesn't seem to work.
"I'll show you moving!" Tatsurion roars and begins to make another assault, but this time Lindorm spins towards them rapidly, Taren tried to use the Stop, but left himself and Tatsorian wide open for a couple of flash bombs thrown at them, temporally blinding them both as Metagolem grabbed his chain and hurled them around and threw towards Lindorm to swat them with its tail. The two made a rough landing against the ground and only took some damage, for Taren he was luckily to use an aura to protect himself but still felt tired out.
Sky winced to see that happen after Brandon used a sneak attack. "Ooh! They're gonna feel that in the morning."
"You think Taren's okay?" Brandon asked and hopes he didn't do that much injury.
To their fortunate, he was okay… somewhat and looked like he was about to loose his lunch. "Uhh… I told you… to… wait up…"
Even Tatsurion didn't look any better either after that surprise attack. "I… told you… I am… Tatsurion… the Unchained…Valgard…"
Not certain if he had heard him right but thought he heard the creature say the name of his grandfather. "Wait… wha-" Unfortunately he never got the chance to ask him when Tatsurion was engulfed in a red illuminating glow like many creatures he fought and vanished.
"Okay, think that's all we needed." Lea walked through the area with his keyblade. "Sorry about that, I thought it be a good idea to end it when you seem to have trouble working together."
"What did you do?" Brandon asked him after calling off his Titan since it was over.
"It's an ability many Keybladers can use to unsummon those that were summoned." Lea stated. Taren remembered something that he did to send that Wyvern away. "He should be back where he belongs and if I'm right, he'll be fine."
"And also we got enough data on the mana to search for the artefacts." Timmy showed them the results on the tablet.
Taren was pleased to hear that. "Great, then we can get going with the fir-"
"Sleep."
Taren suddenly dropped to the ground like a ragdoll and started to softly snore. Lea had done so to stop him. "Not so fast kiddo, first you need to recover and then we can start."
Saladin nodded and relieved no harm came to them. "Now we have what we need, Timmy will do his free time to search for these artefacts, I'll inform Faragonda and Griffin of what happened. Yen Sid shall be pleased to hear the results."
Lea pulled the fellow redhead over his shoulder and carries the sleeping keyblader away. "I'll take him back to his dorm and while you get the stuff ready until you find the first one."
"Understood." Timmy nodded and immediately got started with his work.
"Man, that overgrown lizard's got some attitude problem." Sky commented.
Brandon held a mischievous smirk on his face. "Now I wonder who does he reminds us?"
Riven noticed them looking at him and did not find it amusing. "Hey!"
Unable to know how long he was asleep, not even able to recall what happened after fighting alongside that Kaiju, Tatsurion his name was and something else he said. His memory was a little groggy after the fight against the Titans. He could hear an artificial humming sound that caught his attention, brining his mind to focus on waking is eyes and felt a gentle stroke on his hair.
"Finally awake, I see?"
Immediately recognise the soft and gentle voice with a giggle followed with it, looking up to find Flora right above him with a smile, turns out he was actually resting his head on her lap which was unexpected to find himself on, but admit this felt nice. "F-Flora? Uh…what are you doing in my dorm? N-Not that I'm complaining or anything."
"I came over when I got a call from Sky about some incident with a monster you were fighting. " Crossed her arms and looked a little crossed over the stunt he pulled.
Taren swallowed silently when he knew the tone from her voice means she was not happy about it. Thinking of a good reason for what he did. "Uh… okay, that I can explain."
"No need, they told me everything and while it might have been a good idea, but that was very dangerous and reckless." Showing how much she was worried for him of the risks he had taken. She was lucky he wasn't seriously injured, but still could have been had he not been careful.
"Alright, I'm sorry for worrying you." Decided to leave the comfortable spot he was enjoying and sat up, but noticed it was just her and wondered if Bloom was here. "Don't suppose Bloom's around?"
"No, sorry, she's got a little into much studying than before." Which somewhat surprised the Lymphian Fairy to see how dedicated she was. "The rest of the Winx remained back so I thought come by."
"Well in that case, don't suppose you could keep this from Bloom? Don't think I can take on another earful like the last time." Taren thought, knowing she was briefly mad at him but fortunately she forgave him with her homeworld saved from destruction.
"She's going to find out sooner or later, meanwhile the others are little busy about this mission you spoke of." Flora said.
"Yeah, hoping to track down one of these artefacts before Kefka could find them, not sure how but wanna make sure they don't fall into the wrong hands and maybe give back to these monarchs." Taren explains to her.
"Well, I don't have anything to do so I was able to convince them to tag along." Flora proclaimed with a smile on her face.
This surprised him and glanced over his shoulder to her. "You sure? I mean what if the Winx need you?"
"Oh don't worry, they can handle things without me for a short while. Besides this could be a chance to see new worlds outside the Magic Dimension." She assured him and then gave a coy smile, wrapping her arms around his neck to nuzzle next to the surprised Taren. "And besides, it be a chance to spend some quality time with my brave hero."
Feeling his face flushed for a moment and would not mind at all. "Sure this isn't some dream of mine? If it is, I rather not wake up soon."
Flora giggled over his sense of humor and wanting to savour the moment, she gave him a peck on the cheek and eager to lock lips with his.
"Oh, look whose finally awake."
All of a sudden his smile turned into a frown when the mood was spoiled. "I was wrong, this isn't a dream." And to know who it was, he finds none other than Mal coming into his dorm. "What are you doing here? I thought you be back in Auradon."
"I just got called from the guys and got a lift." She noticed them close with the positions they were in and smiled knowing the look on his face. "Was I interrupting anything?"
"As a matter of fact you did." Taren muttered sarcastically.
Mal ignored his remark. "Well get ready soon, it's just so happens we got our first artefact. Most of the Specialists will be available to take this mission. So I'd pick what need for the trip. Don't be late." Making her departure with the two alone in the room.
"Guess we might as well get ready." For once, Taren thought to least get a break.
Flora sighed and mutually agreed. Reluctantly untangled her arms around him when she was enjoying the moment. "That's the line of work of being heroes I guess. But I'll be coming as well. Obviously you guys need someone to help out if you're in trouble."
"Maybe after this we can get some time to ourselves." Taren tells her and was freed from her embrace to let him get up on his feet. "And maybe can invite Bloom sometime."
She followed him to make their way to the ship, looping her arms around his left to enjoy the moment. However, she was a little concern to what to ask him about Profesor Avalon that he knew upon his first encounter with the Paladin when Tecna found something off about him. Knowing she didn't want him to rush into anything drastic up would assure him the Winx will handle it if Bloom is in danger.
But she can only hope they be okay without them.
Most of Specialists were preparing their things to set up in the Ebon Hawk for the mission they were to take with them. Mal came to take her things ready when she received a lift to Red Fountain, she walked down the steps to find Taren and Flora making their way to them. Timmy had to leave to help out Tecna on something important.
"Well, look whose back on his feet. Had a nice nap?" Riven snickered. "Or was this a chance to have time with your girlfriend?"
Taren chose to ignore him and rolled his eyes. "So we found the first one?"
"Yeah, and your just in time to be up on your feet." Sky told him, but wondered if he was well enough. "You sure your okay after what happened?"
"Flora made sure of it, and she said to help us out in case we get into trouble." Taren assured them he was fine.
"WAIT FOR MEEEE!"
The teens had no idea who said that until they saw a flash of light flew passed them, suddenly slammed into the startled Mal right in the face and fell to the floor. Everyone rushed over to see if she was okay and to their surprise to find Chatta smacked onto her face, the young witch lifted herself up and pulled the pixie off her, with her eyes rolling and looked exhausted.
"Ugh, seems we got a surprise guest." She groaned and held the pixie in her fingers to hold her by the dress. Chatta shook her head to recover and looked nervous to have been caught.
"Chatta? What are you doing? Shouldn't you be back at Alfea with your friends?" Flora knew it be dangerous if Darkar were to know one of them is discovered.
Chatta freed herself and spoke to Flora. "This be a chance to be the first Pixie to go to a new world and with the others back home to give new stories to tell the others of the adventures. Besides, whose to say you guys could be in trouble and need someone like me to help." She begged to her bonded fairy and held her hands together to give the puppy love. "Please, please, please! Flora! I promise to stay close and not fly off."
Much as Flora wanted to keep the pixie out of danger, but couldn't least deny Chatta the opportunity to see new worlds as she was excited for her first time outside the Magic Dimension. Decided to give this a chance and knew she would have to explain it to miss Faragonda when she gets back.
"Alright, but need to stay close as some may not be aware of pixies or magic to be certain. "Flora told her, receiving a loud 'Yes!' from her bonded pixie and watch her fly into the ship.
"Where's Timmy? Thought he be here?" Taren noticed their sharp shooter was not present.
"Had to make a pick up for Tecna, something she needed was urgent." Riven stated.
Brandon came out to give the others outside the heads up before they make their leave. "Okay, guys we're all set! The coordinates are set and we're good to go."
They make their way to the ramp, this was Flora's first time in the Ebon Hawk and amazed by how sleek and bright it looked, Taren told her it was fixed and upgraded with the latest tech Radiant Garden could think of since it was old and almost worn out inside when they found it. Making their way to what was the main hall with the rounded table and several furnitures for them and a second table.
"Wow! So cool! Digit would be so jealous." Chatta said and awe of the ship.
Taren smiled to see their reactions of the insides and the appearance of the ship. "I'll show you around the place once we're settled in. Better get a seat, Flora."
Sky came in the main hall to find everyone inside. "Now we're all in, Brandon and I will work be in the bridge to get this ship off the ground. Lea wanted to come but was told to stay in case our friends need help."
"Be a good idea if we're not here, but sure we can handle it." Taren was confident they will be okay.
"So any idea where it is we're going?" Mal was curious to know.
"To follow the source of the artefact with red mana, shouldn't take long to get there." Brandon told her, much to the surprise of others to find out.
"Only way to find out is to go there." Taren said when he accidentally switched on what appeared to be a holographic projection of numerous stars. "Wow, didn't think that could work."
"Least we also have a map as well. Come on, we can't waste any more time." Sky went with Brandon to the bridge and set the ship's engines online.
The Ebon Hawk took off and flew straight up into Magix's orbit until they were in space. Timmy and Sky followed the instructions given to them through the training to use it. The ship's computer systems showed them all were green and the FTL-drive activated.
Not certain where this world they will find, but if the first Kaiju artefact is there, then they have to find it before their enemies would, or someone who might misuse it for their own gain.
Taren walked into the bridge to check on them. "Everything okay with you guys?"
"We're good, all set for a jump. Better take a seat." Brandon told him and reached for the navigational systems to prepare their journey. "Alright, here goes nothing."
The stars in few stretched out into straight lines as the starship propels itself to a vast distance to its destination of an unknown world.
Here we are on a new chapter and a day before the 1st of December, so thought maybe do a christmas special for the fun of it as its almost 2 weeks from now. This would set about during the episode Professor Avalon's Secret and show what is going on while the heroes would begin their first mission to retrieve a Kaijudo artefact and meet one of the famous creatures who somehow holds a connection to Taren's family history.
Here's a little hint of the first world they will go to: A world ruined by war, remnants of humanity survive and live in the sky, dragons with flight as might.
