AN: Originally, I planned on releasing this chapter, and arc, during the latter half of November or by December 1 at the latest. But seeing as I'm already in the process of writing the final chapter of this arc right now, about 40% finished, I decided to go head and start releasing it now. Also, by releasing this now, I can have the whole arc released by early December and can then begin releasing arc 15 immediately right after, thus leaving arc 16 to be released sometime in 2024.

{|} Prologue: Back into the Fantasia {|}
It was a dull boring day in the city of Axel. Currently, Kazuma was enjoying a nice lunch with Megumin, Darkness, and Yunyun. Cielo wasn't with them at the moment as she was needed over at the Idol Hearts amphitheater, doing practices for a special performance Idol Hearts is planning for the Eris church.
Kazuma had wondered if he would be needed to attend as well, seeing as he was the co-manager of the group alongside Lia, but the message sent by Lia had only been for Cielo to come by so he figured he would be free to spend this day just lounging around and being lazy.
The door to their nice little home is suddenly kicked opened, signaling the end to the peaceful part of the day. A few moments later, an excited Aqua comes running into the dining room, making Kazuma send her a measured stare as he says with a flat tone-
"Seriously Aqua, kicking the door open AGAIN! You do know most doors have these little things called doorknobs on them, that can be used the open said door in a safe, undamaging way, don't you?"
"Not now, NEET. You all need to see this. Check it out; I just came into possession of the most amazing looking rock. Looky-looky..."
Aqua then begins to rummage through her adventurer's pouch for this strange rock she claimed to have found. Kazuma makes an annoyed grunt noise before going back to his lunch. Once again, he found himself wondering why he was being punished by the heavens by being Aqua's new handler.
Off to the side, Yunyun sighs as well before saying to Megumin-
"Guess I'll see what this rock of hers looks like before I see to repairing the front door... again!"
Megumin nods, then looks at Aqua and asks-
"Aqua, how many more times are we going to be doing this with you? No offense, but you're always finding some amazing or strange or sometimes curious looking rocks, to say nothing of other such things. They always end up being nothing more than any old thing you can find off the streets."
"I know, I know, but this time will be different. Trust me on... come on, just where are you in here?"
Darkness gives Aqua a look of pity before asking-
"Aqua, you didn't happen to find this particular rock in the possession of some shady looking vendor, did you? How much did he scam you out of again if this was from a vendor because you can't keep coming to Kazuma, crying for more money every time you..."
"No... well, yeah. I did get this special rock from a traveling peddler, but he just gave it to me. No exchange of money involved. I am strapped for cash though so I could I borrow a few more eris... ah, here it is. OK everyone, feast your eyes on this beauty!"
Aqua then pulls the 'rock' she was talking about out, holding it before herself do the others could see it in all its glory. Sure enough, it wasn't like anything she had ever brought home before. For one thing, it wasn't even a rock but a shimmering crystal in the shape of a multi-pointed star, having a reddish pink color to it. There also appeared to be this pulsing light coming from the center of the crystal.
Everyone leans in close, wanting to get a closer look at it. Aqua, taking on a proud, smug look, puffs out her chest with pride as she says-
"Well, what do you all think? I did good for once, huh?"
Darkness speaks first, saying-
"For once, I'm going to say yes. That is indeed quite the find you have yourself there, Aqua!"
Megumin speaks up next, asking-
"Out of curiosity, Aqua. Just what exactly is it anyways? Is it some kind of special manatite? Perhaps a magicite of some kind?"
"Ah... actually, I don't really know for sure. The guy who gave it to me never said what its purpose actually is. To be honest, with how it glows, especially in dark places, I was thinking of using it as a nightlight in my room. You think I should get it appraised first? Maybe it's worth a crap ton of eris, thus making it worth a resell for more important things."
"Like booze?" (x2)
"Exactly!"
The three girls then realize neither Kazuma or Yunyun had said anything about Aqua's new toy yet, making them look at them to see what was keeping them silent. They find both were wide eyed with looks of surprise on their faces. Perhaps even a bit of worry and concern there. Finally, Yunyun asked-
"Kazuma, that crystal... is that..."
"I... I think so, Yunyun. That looks exactly like... Aqua, you need to get rid of that thing. NOW!"
"Huh? Why would I..."
Before Aqua could finish, the crystal suddenly floats away from her open palms, going to hover in the air at the center of the table. The crystal then begins to glow brightly before a powerful vortex of wind kicks up, beginning to suck the five-some towards the crystal.
"I knew it. That things another Fantasia; just like the one me and Yunyun were sucked into during her Crimson Trials."
"This could be bad. Are we going to be made to relive another past life or will this time be something completely different."
Despite their attempt to fight against the suction pulling them into the crystal, they still find themselves being lifted into the air and towards the Fantasia. Megumin shouts out-
"What's happening. I can't help but feel you two have left out some seriously important details about Yunyun's trial, Kazuma!"
"I don't think we're going to have the time to get the explanation. We're definitely going inside that thing!"
adds Darkness as she, Megumin, Yunyun, and Kazuma start shrinking down in size before their visages are fully sucked into the Fantasia. Aqua manages to hold off being sucked in for a few moments more before she too is finally unable to resist anymore and begins to be sucked inside. Her final words before joining the others within the Fantasia is-
"This isn't my fault, it can't be my fault. If anything, I blame Kazuma for not being there to talk me out of getting this..."
Once Aqua had been sucked inside, the Fantasia goes quiet, leaving the room empty save for Chomusuke who managed to hide herself safely away. She hops up onto the table, looks at the crystal as it continues to float in the air for a few moments before shrugging, then helping herself to the remaining uneaten food left behind after her owners had been essentially kidnapped.
And thus, a new adventure in the Fantasia begins...
{|} Arc 14: Fantasia Tales {|}
{Story 1: It's Henshin Time}
{|} A-Part {|}
The Nasada shuttle touched down on the strange comet that was passing through the solar system. This was an unusual comet that had been discovered as it appeared to have an actual atmosphere to it. Naturally, this called for a more detailed investigation, thus leading to Nasada sending some astronauts out to the comet to check it out.
Two mean step out onto the comet's surface, taking a moment to make certain the surface was both stable and safe to traverse. Finding it acceptable, at least for the moment, they begin scanning the area and quickly detect something odd not to far away from their landing zone. They begin walking towards the source of the odd reading they were getting.
"I can't believe the bosses sent us out to actually do something crazy like this, Charlie. I mean, this is hardly worth our meager salaries we're forced to accept with this damn job!"
"I know, David, I know. Can't be helped though, can it. Who knows, maybe if we find something amazing on this strange lump of rock here, they'll be more willing to talk about giving us a pay raise. If nothing else, we'll be famous for being the first Earthling's to have set foot on a moving comet."
"Yeah-yeah, whatever you say. Let's just hurry this up before the comet gets to far away that our trip back home will take forever to deal with. Last thing I want or need is to spend more than another week alone with only you to keep me entertained!"
"The feelings mutual, I can assure you!"
The two astronauts named David and Charlie continued moving towards the strange thing they had detected. After about five minutes, they finally saw what the odd thing their scanners had picked up actually was; a large, metal space dumpster with a glowing blue crystal at the center of its top.
"Seriously, this is the thing that's making our sensor's so all crazy like? Man, this is such a disappointment. Hm... this crystal? Wonder if it might be something important. I'll grab it and bag it so we can take it back home with us for further testing."
"Maybe that's not a good idea there, Charlie. I don't know why but there's something about all of this that sounds kinda familiar... oh, I remember. Didn't some astronauts accidentally release some crazy space witch and her minions about thirty or so years ago."
"Huh, what are you on about. I don't recall something like that happening. Even if it did happen, I'm sure this situation will be completely different than that one."
The astronaut named Charlie then grabs onto the blue crystal and tries to pull it free, but it refuses to budge. He puts more 'oomph' into his pulling, even using both hands and telling David to hurry up and help him out. Together, the twosome finally succeed in getting something to happen, just not what they wanted or intended.
Instead of the crystal coming off, it was the whole top part of the dumpster that comes flying off with a powerful blast like forth, sending the two astronauts flying back. They quickly pick themselves up and look back at the now open dumpster where an eerie voice is heard coming from within; a low groan like voice that triggers a kind of primal fear within the two men.
"Oh fuck this, I don't get paid enough for this shit. I'm out of here, man."
"I told you we shouldn't have messed with that thing. This is that whole Rita Repulsa incident all over again!"
The two astronauts waste no time in running back to their ship and making a break for it. Back at the dumpster, the eerie voice finally dies off, only to be replaced by a hand rising up out of the dumpster and gripping the side, followed by a figure with blue colored hair dragging herself out...
And waste no time with breathing in several deep, desperate breaths as the figure, a girl, pants out-
"Air... (huff, puff) sweat beautiful air... (huff, puff, huff) By the gods, how I've missed you!"
After taking several literal minutes to fill her lungs with much needed air, which may or may not have actually existed on the comet, the blue haired girl finishes getting out of the dumpster. She then dust herself off before looking around at her surroundings. She then stretches her arms outward into the sky as she declares loudly.
"(has a maniacal laugh) Finally, after ten-thousand kelso, I'm free. Free at last, you hear me. You thought you could seal me away forever, you damn demented maniac! Guess what, I'm free now and I am so going too..."
The blue haired girl then realizes something was missing; her two lackey's to be exact. She then turns back to the dumpster and proceeds to start kicking it violently while shouting out-
"Hey, peons, rise and shine already. We have some chaos to bring down on our jailer."
Slowly, two more figures emerge from the dumpster. One had the appearance of a child due to her small frame while the other had the appearance of a young woman with huge breast that the armor she was wearing wasn't able to hide.
The child like girl's crimson eyes flare red as she rubs the sleep from her eyes as she says-
"Aqua, it's still early. Can we do this after we've had lunch or something."
"Megumin's right, Aqua. Why are you so aggravated right now? Is it your time of the..."
"No, of course not. Just hurry up and finish waking up, you idiots. Don't you realize we're finally free now. Free to go after that damn man and make him suffer for what he did to us back home!"
Megumin and the big boobed girl look at each other, then at their surrounding location, finally realizing that they were indeed free from being sealed up. Megumin cracks a grin as she says-
"It's about damn time. Do you know how long I've had to wait to go out and explode something? Far to long if you ask me. I need to hurry up and find something worthy to blow up so I can get the rust out of my system!"
"Me personally, I just want to find some nice, strong monster to fight and see if it can mess me up something good before I beat it into a pulp!"
Aqua looks back at her two companions with a smile.
"There will be time enough for all that and more later, Megumin... Darkness. For now, we need to get our base of operations up and running, as well as contact Maestro and let him know we're back on the scene. Hopefully, he'll loan us some minions and monsters to fight in our name as we begin our hunt for our great enemy. And maybe, just maybe..."
Aqua then looks up to the sky, seeing the outline of several worlds off in the distance.
"We'll find ourselves a nice to home to rule over!"
(somewhere else; a very dark room)
The almost jet-black room is suddenly lit, albeit dimly, by a red flashing light as an alarm rings out. A massive pile of books laying on the floor begin to shift and fall away as a figure emerges from under the many tomes. This figure, wearing a messy suit and a lab coat along with a strange black and white mask that covers his eyes, smacks his lips before looking around in confusion.
It takes a moment before he fully awakens and realizes what was going on. He quickly frees himself from the mess of books and makes his way over to a computer, quickly tapping some commands into the keys, making the screen of his monitor display information for the man to read.
"So, it looks like the time has finally come. After just ten years, those three little troublemakers have escaped and will likely be coming here to Earth to cause trouble for everyone. Guess I have no choice..."
He then turns away from the monitor, his eyes locked on the fancy belt he had hanging over on the wall.
"Looks like it's time for you to become a hero, boy... regardless of if you want to be or not!"
{|} B-Part {|}
The brunette-haired girl hums happily to herself as she finishes dressing in her new high school girl uniform. She then takes a few minutes to work on her hair, then she heads downstairs to make breakfast for herself, her BFF, and her crazy uncle she had lived with ever since coming to live here in Japan.
Once she had finished, she wraps both hers and her BFF's lunches up all nice and neat while leaving her uncle's breakfast sitting on the table. She then walks over and opens a door that led down to the basement, then shouts out-
"I'm off, uncle. Wish me luck on my first day of high school. I left your breakfast on the table so make sure you eat it before it gets cold!"
She doesn't wait for a reply, instead closing the door before exiting the house they lived in. She then goes running off to the small one bedroom apartment her bestie lived in. She knew he would likely oversleep as he always overslept no matter the day. But today wasn't a day where oversleeping would be acceptable as it was the start of a new school year and she would make sure he was on time for once.
Once she had reached his apartment complex, she was quick to enter and head up some stairs till she had reached the door into his apartment. She then pulls a locket she had hidden beneath her school uniform, which contained a picture of her and her best friend inside it. Beneath the locket was a short rubbery string that had a key dangling; a spare key to her friends apartment which she uses to unlock the door and step inside.
The apartment was small in size; just one fairly decent sized room that was a combination of living room, kitchen, and bedroom with two smaller rooms off to the side, one being a closet and the other a bathroom. She makes her way over and around the mini-table over to the back-end of the room where the was a small cot of a bed with her best friend lay snoozing his life away.
The girl can't help but giggle to herself at the sight of the boy sleeping on the bed, all sprawled out without a care in the world. While he was only dressed in a sleeveless top and boxer shorts, she wasn't at all embarrassed by the sight as she had seen it enough times in the past to become comfortable with it. If anything, she found it to be rather cute, in a ways. There was just one little problem that did make her turn her gaze away a little while her cheeks warmed from the blush.
Once again, he was clearly having himself a nice dream, if the tent in his boxers was any indication.
She shakes the perverted thoughts that had begun to build up in her mind clear, then reaches out and begins to shake him awake.
"Kazuma, Kazuma, come on, Kazuma. It's time to wake up now."
"Don't wanna... still sleepy..."
"Did you stay up all night playing games again? I told you to not do that, not when you knew we have our first day of high school awaiting us today. Please Kazuma, won't you get up... for me!"
"Don't wanna... already up anyways..."
"I can see that. (allows her eyes to drift back to his boxers) But that's not the kind of UP I'm talking about here. Come on already, Kazuma. Either you get up now or I'll be forced too... AAAHHHHH!"
Before the girl could finish, Kazuma's hands reached out and grabbed hold of her wrist. Before she could react, she finds herself being dragged into bed with him; his hands wasting no time in doing what she knew was going to happen next.
"So soft... must have gotten bigger again..."
he grumbles out as the girl squeaks out-
"Wait, stop it Kazuma. Now's not the day for... ah... oo... aaaahhhhh, I can feel your thing poking my... NOOOO, please not there... AAAHHHH!"
Fifteen minutes later, Kazuma was up and fully dressed in his school uniform and was currently sitting at his table, really just a kotatsu, having a bit of buttered toast and some coffee while the girl was making use of his bathroom; needing to take a few minutes to fix herself up after what had just happened.
"Seriously, Kazuma. Why does this always happen when I come to wake you up? EVER. SINGLE. TIME. I'm really beginning to wonder if you're really sleeping when you do that or if your just pretending to sleep so you can have an excuse to molest me every day. In fact, I'm beginning to question if I should even remain friends with you."
"And I'm wondering if you can remember just how many times you've said those very words to me in the past, Yunyun. Besides, you and I both know you'll never break off your friendship with me. It means way to much to you for you to ever go do something like that."
"... I hate when you're right, Kazuma."
"I'm always right, which means you must have a lot of hate inside you, Yunyun. Also, I really need to point this little detail out. I have been sleep-molesting you each and every day for the last eight or so months. Despite that, you still come by each and every day, all to make sure I don't sleep the day away. You could play it safe by using a broom, a mop, or some other long item to wake me. But instead, you always go with getting all close and personal when it comes to waking me. A guy can't help but think that maybe, just maybe, you actually like being molested by me. I mean, why else would you..."
"(sticks her embarrassed head out for him to see) I don't... I absolutely don't like it and I wish you would stop doing it already."
"Yeah, yeah, if you say so. Anyways, almost done in there? We'll need to really book it if we're not going to be late."
[My name is Satou Kazuma. I'm a seventeen year old second year high school student. The girl in my bathroom is Hitomi Yunyun, my best friend for the last ten years of my life. Yunyun is a shy, quiet girl who's also a bit of an introvert and because of this, she has trouble speaking her mind and making friends with others. The exception to this is, of course, me.
I don't know why I'm the exception to the rule, but for some strange reason, our first meeting led to her latching onto me. While it was rather annoying at first, I've grown to like having her around. In those early days, Yunyun was bullied by all the other kids, possibly because of her name I think. Since then, people's attitude about Yunyun has changed and many have shown an interest in becoming friends with her, but she never appears to take their offers seriously. Probably for good reason.
The truth is that Yunyun is actually almost three years younger than me, being fourteen. You wouldn't know it to look at her though. I mean sure, she only comes up to my chest when it comes to her height, but with her long legs, curvy hips, and big boobs, you'd think she is older than she actually is. In a ways, she's kinda has the look of a super model about her. Maybe that's why people have become more interested in wanting to be her "friend." Luckily, she's smart enough to see through their offers. Or maybe it's just her instincts that keep her safe.
I can say Yunyun is super smarter, way smarter than anyone else I know. I mean, she has to be in order to have been skipped ahead two whole grades, which is how she's just one year behind me now; being a first year high school student. I'm honestly lucky to have a friend like her in my life, what with how she's always trying to care for me and all; making sure I don't oversleep, cooking for me, often times making sure I remember to go get groceries and other such things.
Honestly, she'll make a great wife for someone one of these days. Who knows, maybe she'll even become MY wife... ha, like that's going to happen although, given how she seems to let me molest her all the time, maybe that is what she wants to happen. And a little side note, I'm very much awake when I pull her into my bed and grope her like crazy. Have been fully aware of my actions for a few months. I just wanted to see if she would really let me do it every day and what do you know... she does let me.
The less said about that crazy uncle of her's though, the better.]
"Alright Kazuma, I'm ready. So... how do I look?"
asked Yunyun as she finally emerges from the bathroom, having gotten all the wrinkles out of her uniform and getting her hair all fixed up again. Kazuma stands, letting his eyes give her a full scan before giving her the thumbs up.
"Ten out of ten. You'll definitely be the best looking girl in your whole grade, if not the whole school!"
"(blushes) You're just saying that... but do you really mean it, Kazuma."
"If I didn't, I wouldn't have said it. Anyways, we better get going or else we really be late."
Yunyun nods happily as she goes to grab her stuff. Kazuma also grabs his school bag. The two of them then exit his apartment and begin to make their way to the high school. Little did they know just how crazy this day would soon become for them, as well as everyone else in the city.
{|} C-Part {|}
The wandering comet moving aimlessly across space though there was plenty of action going down on its surface. Aqua and Darkness watched as their new base of operations was finally completed, curtesy of their small framed witch. Once Megumin had finished her work, Aqua gives their new home a quick look over before smiling big and saying-
"Not bad, Megumin. Not bad at all. I see you haven't lost your touch when it comes to working that magic of yours. It's also impressive just what your clan can do with the power they wield!"
Megumin puffs her chest out with pride as she says with no small amount of confidence in her tone-
"Indeed! Did you expect anything less with me, the greatest of my clan? (becomes more serious) I am a little angry, though. My great and unstoppable power isn't meant for tedious labor like this. I don't want to waste my skills with building you a new home to live in. I want to go blow something up, right now in fact. When do I get to blow something up already?"
"You'll need to wait a while before you can do that, Megumin? I mean, you once told me you need to be at FULL power in order to fire off your best spell. After having built this place, won't you be anything BUT full power now!"
"... Mother fucker!"
Aqua looks at the angry Megumin and Darkness, who was trying to calm her after pointing out an important detail to the child like member of their group. Aqua then begins to walk into the mansion looking structure while saying-
"There will be plenty of time for mass destruction soon enough, Megumin. For now, we should get in there, make contact with Maestro, then start getting everything set up to our liking."
The three girls then step inside the mansion, finding the insides impressive, but overall empty. Aqua knew she would need to ask Megumin to create some furniture for them to use, which would assuredly piss the child off even more. Well, first things first as she selects a large lavish room at the top of the stairs, complete with a nice open balcony to see the greater beyond to add some character to the vibe.
Aqua comes to a stop before bringing her hands together.
"OK; let's see if I remember how to do this."
Aqua, now holding her hands out before herself, uses her own power to call forth a large crystal ball, complete with a pedestal for it to rest on, to appear in the center of the room. Megumin gets a twitch in one of her eyes as she says-
"If you could do something like THAT, Aqua then why did you need ME to create this whole place?"
"Because this and that are very different things, Megumin. This was already something I had stored away on my person; inside a dimensional pocket I use to keep my personal possessions all safe and secure. Besides, do you really trust ME or all people handle making a place for us all to live in?"
"Aqua does have a point, Megumin."
Megumin had a sour look on her face, but she didn't offer up any further complaint. Aqua then turns her attention to the large crystal ball; hoping that Megumin didn't know she did have an entire home sealed away inside her personal pocket space. While Aqua trusted Megumin and Darkness, they were her friends after all, there was still no way she was going to let them turn her holy sanctuary into their own little pig pen as she knew how messy those two could be.
Naturally, Aqua never considered her own messy ways which were far worse than either Megumin or Darkness combined.
Aqua reaches out and places her hand on the crystal, making the whole thing light up. She then says in a soft, almost commanding tone-
"Maestro, great Maestro, hear my call and respond."
She repeats this several times till an image, distorted and foggy, begins to take shape within the crystals center. From this image comes a voice, deep and oddly charming in a ways.
"Hm, what's this. Three daughter's from Suba... still alive. And here I thought you had all been killed."
"Not all of us, lord Maestro. I, Aqua of the holy Clerican tribe, have survived. And I am not alone. Templar Darkness and Megumin from the Crimson Order are also with me."
"... OK, and the reason for this unexpected call?"
"We know you once tried to help the people of our world, tried to save us from a great disaster long ago. While things didn't exactly end on a positive note back home, we are hoping you will be willing to try again and help us. Help us find the fiend who brought our world to ruin and aid us in getting our revenge against him."
"And to make sure what happened back home doesn't happen again to another race and their world."
"You want MY help with getting vengeance. ...Sure, I guess I can do that. Out of curiosity, you wouldn't happen to know the name of the one who caused your home and people to be lost, would you. After ten-thousand kelso, I confess my memories are a little fuzzy there."
"Understandable... I think. Anyways, his is a name I could never forget. He is the demonic madman whose very existence made everyone from my tribe cower in fear and filled them with such furious rage. His name is..."
Aqua then says his name, making both Megumin and Darkness shiver from hearing it spoken aloud... or maybe they just had a momentary chill as the inside of the mansion was pretty cold and they had yet to turn on the indoor heater for the place.
After hearing the name, the Maestro was quiet for a few moments before saying-
"Ah yes, I remember that man now. Always such a headache to deal with. (chuckles) I would very much like to see him found and captured as he stole something very important from me. Something that would have allowed me the chance to expand my powers... to help me save all in the universe."
"What did he steal from you, Maestro?"
asked Megumin, earning another chuckle from the crystal ball.
"All will be revealed in time, I assure you. As it so happens, I luckily know where he currently is... for the most part. Behold..."
A beam of light shoots out of the top of the crystal ball, a beam that quickly turns into a holographic screen which displays an image upon it. That image was of a planet.
"Behold... the planet Earth, which you happen to be fairly close to. Good fortune, huh. Anyways, I can detect his life force coming from this world; specifically from this location on said planet."
The image then changes to showing Japan, then again to show an area of northern Japan, then again to show a large city with some suburban areas at its edge.
"Unfortunately, I can't get any more exact than this. No matter though as he will be found somewhere within this place. I'm sure if you can cause enough chaos, he'll come out of hiding, either to protect his little hideout or to make a run for it."
"Understood, all we need to do is make some chaos, huh? Sure, we can do that!"
"You can leave all that to me, Aqua... Maestro. Making chaos is my specialty!"
"Just as long as we don't have to front the bill, or take any innocent lives in the process."
As the three girls begin to make their plans, the Maestro clears his throat to get their attentions back onto him, then adds-
"Actually, you three going down there to take care of things directly may be a bad idea at the moment. Don't forget, you were all sealed away for a long time. Because of this, none of you are at full power. If you were to go now, in your weakened states, I fear you will not only fail at finding and capturing our mutual foe, but possibly even be killed in the process which won't serve any of our wants and needs."
Hearing that makes Aqua and Megumin deflate. Darkness, though feeling bummed too, manages to maintain her composure and asks-
"So if we can't go down there ourselves at this time, what can we do then? Wait till we're back at full power before we make our move."
"That isn't advisable, seeing as I'm sure our mutual enemy is likely aware of your being freed by now. Also, it will take a good while before you all can regain your full power. Until then, allow me to offer you some much needed help with your mission."
Once again, the crystal ball emits a glow before two objects appear in the room; one to one side and one to the other. The one to their right was a large tank with a hose at its top that loops and ends with a funnel aimed at the ground. The other looked like some kind of gacha machine, a large tank filled with small balls with little figurines stored inside.
"Behold... my gift to you three. On your right is a minion producing machine. Just turn it on and you'll be able to create a small army of warrior's I call Zealots. While not super strong, they can still easily overpower the weaklings that call Earth home. You'll be limited to only thirty Zealots per day, but you can increase that number if you can steal energy from Earth to power the device up."
"To your left is a special monster summoning machine. Just turn the crank and you'll get a little capsule as a reward. Open the capsule to summon a special top-tier warrior from my personal army who will lead the Zealot's in their search for our mutual enemy. Note that like with the Zealot making machine, you'll be limited to only one monster per day until you can power it up by stealing energy from the humans. Any questions, my friends?"
Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness look at each other and have a quick little pow-wow before turning back to the crystal ball and shake their heads.
"Then I leave the rest in your capable hands. I wish you luck and do let me know if you need anything else in the future."
With that, the image within the crystal ball fades, leaving them to plan their next move.
"Well, let's see what these Zealot guys are all about."
said Aqua as she walks over to the machine and turns it on. It takes a moment for the machine to start up, making a concerning clattering sound, but soon begins to spit out the Zealot's until there were thirty of them in total.
They stood tall and proud; dressed in a lot of blue with clothing that seemed to be a blend of a priest and a shaolin monk. They had staff like weapons in their hands and faces lacking any features save for eyes sockets that had a four pointed star like pupil shining from within.
Aqua looks them over before saying-
"Eh... I guess these guys will do. What about the other one. What kind of leader monster will it give us?"
Darkness walks over to the machine and turns the crank on it, making a capsule come rolling out which she takes a hold of. Darkness studies the capsule, finding a little button on it that she pushes, making the whole thing burst open to reveal a dark knight like creature, though having a more ogre like look about it.
"You summoned me, masters?"
he said with a deep, gravely voice. Darkness looks him over then licks her lips as she says-
"Mm, you look very... virile. I should probably have a little one on one with you before we send you off on your mission. Make sure you're stamina and endurance are up to snuff and..."
"Oh no you don't Darkness. (grabs Darkness by the ear, dragging her back from the ogre knight) Listen buddy, we need you to take those guys over there with you and attack that location shown on that map over the crystal ball. Think you can draw out some psychopath we want to see murdered for us."
The ogre knight looks at the image, then back at Megumin and gives her the thumbs up.
Aqua then approaches the ogre knight and says-
"Very good. Then take these can fodder... I mean, minions with you and bring that man back to us alive... not necessarily in one piece, but alive."
"And him having a pretty bow would be nice too!"
adds Darkness. Ogre knight nods before making a motion with his hand, making him and the Zealots warp away to Earth. Once they were alone, Darkness asks-
"So... what do we do now? Pull up some chairs and watch all the action unfold."
"...Naw, I'm sure our new friend there can handle things without us watching. Let's focus on getting this place all nicely furnished and set up like we want it to be. Megumin, you know what I need you to do here."
"Screw you, Aqua. I want to go blow something up. I want to blow something up NOW!"
Despite her complaint, Megumin still got to work making furniture for them to make use of.

"OK, seems everyone decided to not go skipping out on the first day of the new year. Now that we're done with roll call, my beautiful little test subjects, does anyone want to take a guess at what our first lesson in this class we'll be tackling first?"
asked Sylvia-sensei, though everyone in the class seemed to be less than ready to answer her. Sylvia was an... interesting teacher here in Kono High School. Some would even say she's infamous. While she was something of a smokingly hot exotic beauty, there was something about her that made even the most horn dog guy and girl actively avoid her.
When no one showed any signs of stepping up, Sylvia-sensei let out a sigh before bringing a finger and beginning to point from one student to another until...
"Miss Lia, if you would!"
Lia, a dark haired girl lets out an annoyed sigh before standing and saying-
"If memory serves, our first topic should be about the Meiji Restoration and the role the samurai played during that time!"
"Very good. That is indeed what we SHOULD be tackling here first. However... I can't help but find such things to be way to boring and tedious for such delectable little test subjects like yourself. How about we do something a little different, and a little more fun. Let's spice things up now, shall we?"
Sylvia-sensei's excitement is met with low groans from everyone in the room. While they may not know what Sylvia-sensei was planning, they knew it would most likely be dangerous, inappropriate, and definitely illegal.
Kazuma turns his head off to the side, to look out the window he was lucky enough to be sitting by. He wonders how Yunyun was doing during her first day here. Hopefully, she was holding her own. And doubly hopefully, she wasn't being harassed by any of the more deviant guys and girls here in the school.
After all, no one was allowed to harass sweet, innocent Yunyun... except for HIM that is!
"Now, for today class, we'll be having ourselves a little biology lesson. To be more exact, we'll be having ourselves a little SEX EDUCATION!"
This immediately gets everyone's attention, though not all of them were happy about this. One of the girls that Kazuma knew of, but wasn't exactly close to, by the name of Erika speaks up and says-
"Um, miss Sylvia-sensei, isn't something like that..."
"Yes, I know it can be embarrassing but I feel you all should still understand the overall fundamentals when it comes to all things sex. Now, I'm sure many of you will say that you already know all there is to know there. But... do you REALLY?"
Sylvia-sensei waits for anyone to speak up and when no one does, she continues.
"Maybe, but there's no harm in teaching you all a few additional bits about the subject, especially when it comes to pleasing ones partner. Now, are their any volunteers as this will make more sense if I make use of visual aids. How about... mister Kazuma and you, miss Erika."
Kazuma's head jerks to looking at Sylvia-sensei, then to an equally shocked Erika, then back to Sylvia. Erika manages to squeak out-
"Wait, why me. Don't you... none of this is in any way cute, you know."
"Oh, don't be like that. I'm sure when this is all over, you both will be thanking me. Well, at least mister Kazuma will. Now, get up here and be ready to put on a show, you..."
Just then, a siren goes off in the distance, making everyone turn to look at the window. A moment later, the PA goes off, making Sylvia-sensei sigh in annoyance before mumbling-
"Damn it, and just when things were about to get both good and hot in here."
(a few minutes before)
Yunyun takes a seat at her desk, taking time to set things up as a shadow comes to stand over her. Turning and looking, she sees her sort of friend Cielo standing beside her. While Yunyun couldn't really say that she was friends with Cielo, do to her shy, introverted nature, she did chat on the regular with her. To Yunyun's understanding, she was part of this small click that included two other girls named Lia and Erika whom were acquainted with Kazuma in some form or fashion. The three of them were in the music club.
"Hey Yunyun, looks like we're in the same class again, huh?"
"Yeah... seems like it. Are you nervous about the first day like I am?"
"Yeah, for the most part. Really wish I could be as lucky as you and be skipped a grade though. I'd like to be in the same year as Lia and Erika. Bet you must feel the same, huh?"
"What do you mean?"
"Come on, you can be honest with me. You would very much like to be in the same grade as Satou-san, wouldn't you. Everyone knows the two of you are an item after all so it's..."
"EH?"
Yunyun jumps out of her seat, getting several of the other students who were in there with them to look their way. Cielo waves them off, telling them it was nothing before looking back at Yunyun and leaning in close so they could chat more quietly.
"What do you mean by what you said, Cielo. What's this about me and Kazuma being..."
"What, you mean it isn't true? That's what the rumor about you two is saying though. That the two of you are a couple. I mean, it would make sense seeing as you two are always together and all."
"(sits back in her seat) Well, we're not... though I wouldn't mind if we were."
"Ah, does this mean you DO..."
Before Cielo could continue, the bell rings; signaling the start of class. Cielo quickly says "We'll talk later." before heading to her assigned seat. After a few moments, the rest of the class come running in and the wait for their teacher's arrival begins. And the wait was not a short one.
In fact, after ten minutes, one of the male students says-
"Seriously, where's Wiz-sensei at? Surely she knows class has started."
One of the female students then speaks up, saying-
"Guess this means the rumors about Wiz-sensei are true. She's a very... flighty minded woman, always easily distracted and forgetful. She probably doesn't even realize the bell rang. Perhaps she even forgot she needed to be here at school."
"So... study hall?"
Before anyone could react to that last bit, a siren goes off in the distance, making everyone look towards the window. Just then, the PA goes off and the voice of the school principal booms out loud for all to hear.
"Attention everyone, I'm afraid this first day of school... has to come to a quick end!"
Thirty minutes later, Kazuma and Yunyun were walking down the streets, heading in the direction of Kazuma's place. Kazuma had his arms crossed behind his head while Yunyun walked at his side, looking a little confused but also happy, as she always did when around Kazuma.
"So... has something like that ever happened before, Kazuma. Having the first day of a new year at school abruptly canceled because of a possible terrorist attack?"
"It's a first for me, that's for sure. Given the day and age we're living in though, I wouldn't be surprised to hear it having happened somewhere in the world."
Kazuma was secretly glad for the sudden explosion that had occurred down at a chemical factor, the event that had triggered the siren and with it, getting school shut down for the day. Sure, the idea of doing naughty things with Erika wasn't a bad thing in his mind, given how hot she was, but doing those naughty things with an audience watching, and with Sylvia-sensei acting as a coach, was definitely not something he wanted to do.
And maybe, just maybe, he was concerned for Erika's thoughts and feelings on the matter too.
Yunyun is quiet for a moment before asking-
"So... with us now having most of the day now free, what do you think we should do? Play some games or something?"
"How about we go on a date?"
"Sure... wait, what?"
Yunyun stops and looks at Kazuma, her eyes wide and waiting for him to confirm what he had just said. Kazuma stops and looks at her too. In truth, him asking her this question had been on his mind for a while now, since Lia had asked him about it over their previous break before the start of the new school year. While he hadn't planned on asking her out YET, for some reason he felt now was the perfect time to do it.
"Well, I mean... if you want to... we could go out on a date. You know, like a date-date. So, wanna do it?"
Yunyun continues to look at Kazuma for a few moments before her eyes begin to water, her cheeks having a growing blush, and a smile begins to form. She goes to reply, but her reply is cut off by the ringing of her cell phone.
"Sorry Kazuma, one second. Hello, Uncle Vanir. What is..."
"So, your batty uncle, huh. Should have known he'd try to cock block me now!"
Yunyun doesn't respond, instead nodding while trying to say things like "Yeah, me and Kazuma are... what, right now? But me and Kazuma were going to... Alright, I understand. We'll be right over."
Once she had ended the call, Yunyun lets out a depressed sigh before putting her phone away, then looks at Kazuma and says-
"Sorry Kazuma, Uncle Vanir needs to see us. I tried to explain that we had something important we were going to do, but you know how he is."
"Yeah, I do... unfortunately. Don't worry about it, Yunyun. How about this. We go see what he wants, then you can change into something more fitting for our date... unless you're fine with wearing your school uniform for it. I could even run back to my place and change as well."
"Yeah, that would work out for us. OK, we'll have our first date right after we see what uncle wants."
With their plans in place, the two of them begin heading back to Yunyun's place. While they were moving more quickly now, Yunyun made certain to be just a little bit closer to Kazuma than she had been before. Hopefully, her uncle wouldn't keep them for to long as she had been waiting for this day, the day Kazuma would finally ask her out, for years now.
And there was nothing that was going to make her wait any longer for it either.

Once they had arrived, Yunyun quickly led Kazuma down into the basement of hers and her uncle's place. As always, the basement lab uncle used was a complete disaster of a mess, looking like it hadn't been given a proper cleaning since before they had moved in ten years ago.
"Uncle... uncle Vanir, are you down here? I brought Kazuma like you asked so... uncle Vanir?"
"Geez professor, at least say something when your loyal niece is trying to get an answer from you."
They wait and wait and wait, but no answer is given. They lift up some of the piles of books and papers scattered all about the place but couldn't find any sign of him or anything else really beyond the mess.
"Seriously, he calls us back here like the world was ending, then pulls a stunt like this. I wonder he if was just wanting to troll us... AGAIN!"
"Knowing how his sick mind works, I wouldn't doubt it. You know, Yunyun. You should really ditch him and this place and come live with me. It would serve us both a lot better when you think about it."
"Kazuma, what are you saying?"
"What is he saying indeed. Perhaps he has decided to become even more bold where you are concerned, my niece."
came an eerier voice from behind them, making them both jump. They then look back and see a tall figure, wearing a mask with a glowing red light coming from the eye shape on the left side of his mask. His appearance makes them both jump again as Yunyun quickly jumps behind Kazuma defensively.
"Damn it, professor!"
"Uncle Vanir, don't go scaring us like that. It's not funny."
"Mwa-ha-ha-ha, to see the look on your faces, the fear and anger mixed together. Ah, such a sweet feeling to get from the two of you. I really needed that."
Vanir then claps his hands together, causing the darkened room to light up. Vanir then walks past them over to his computer and begins to type in some commands as Kazuma and Yunyun look at each other before walking over to join him.
"OK prof, what's the big emergency that had you calling for us to get over here in a hurry. I want you to know I was about to ask something important of Yunyun when you called."
Yunyun nods in agreement, making Vanir look back at them with a big grin as he says-
"Don't you both think it's a little TOO soon to be going doing stuff like that? I mean, you're both still in high school. No matter, you do whatever you both want to do... just as long as I don't have to help you both out as a result. After all, I am a busy man and all."
"Uncle, that's not what..."
"What we do when alone is our own business, prof. Not yours so you don't need to worry. Now, what's going on that made you call us both back here quickly."
"Very well, take a look at this."
Vanir then motions for them to turn their attention to the screen. Kazuma leans in closer while Yunyun hesitates for a moment as her mind was still on what Kazuma said. She shakes those thoughts from her mind then leans in close to see what was on the screen as well.
It was a video feed of some kind, showing a bunch of weirdos walking around in strange looking costumes. Most of them were dressed in blue robes that seemed to be a mixture of priest robes and monk attire and strange looking mask. Among them was one who looked like a hulky, bulky ogre wearing somewhat demonic armor that looked like it had seen better days and wasn't designed to be worn by the creature wearing it.
"What is this, prof? Some kind of new Super Sentai show or something?"
"Sure, you can say that... except for the fact this is all real. These here guys are the ones who caused the big explosion down at the chemical plant earlier."
"Are you serious, uncle. Are you sure these guys aren't just some cosplayers with bad taste."
"I'm sure, these are monsters sent down by some invading aliens; here to cause any kind of trouble they can think of doing."
Kazuma looks at Vanir and says with a deadpan look and tone-
"You've been in the secret sauce again, haven't you.?"
"Uncle, you promised me you'd lay off that stuff after that incident a few years back!"
"No, I'm being serious here. Look, believe it or not, this is real. Those things out there, that are currently being displayed on my monitor, are as real as you and I. And right now, to save the people here in this city, I'm going to need you to step up and save the day my boy."
Kazuma was more than ready to take Yunyun's hand and lead her back up the stairs to escape her uncle's madness. Instead, he sighs and decides to play along and see where this all goes. Maybe, just maybe, they could use this to prove Vanir's insanity and get him thrown into an insane asylum, thus allowing him to move out of his place and come live here with Yunyun instead.
"OK prof, I'll bite. How exactly am I going to save the world here, like you said."
"Kazuma, what..."
Kazuma silences Yunyun, looking at her and making her quickly realize what it was he was doing. She nods then looks at her uncle who smiles a big smile before laughing heartily.
"Good, very good indeed, my boy. Allow me to give you the instrument of your future heroics!"
Vanir steps off to one side, to a large chest. He opens it and starts digging through the contents, sending all manner of weird items flying out till he shouts out "Eureka!" He then pulls the item he found out, turns and walks over to Kazuma before slapping it down hard into Kazuma's open hands.
Kazuma looks at the item, then at Vanir with an skeptical look as he says-
"A belt? My way to become some kind of super hero... is a freakn' belt?"
"Well, if nothing else, it's a rather cool looking belt, Kazuma. Very stylish actually."
"That's not the point, Yunyun!"
Vanir straightens himself to stand as tall as he can as he laughs, then leans in close to the two of them with a finger raised, wagging it at he says-
"Oh ye doubting Thomas, allow Moi to explain it to you. What you hold is no simple belt, but rather the Power Morph Belt. With this, you can call upon an amazing power that will let you face off against the alien forces posed to invade our world here."
Kazuma and Yunyun look at Vanir, unconvinced.
"Are you really sure you're doing OK, uncle? You didn't hit your head earlier, did you?"
"This fancy belt is suppose to... this really is a prank on your part, isn't it."
"No-no-no, I would trick you. Not where this matter is concerned. Also, I must tell you that in addition to giving you the power to fight the aliens attacking this world, it can also allow us to communicate without fear of others overhearing our conversation. It can also do this, my boy."
"Do what exactly?"
"This!"
Vanir then turns quickly and presses a button on his keypad, making Kazuma turn into a spiral of light that quickly shoots up and out of the basement. Yunyun freaks out at this before grabbing Vanir by his lab coat collar and begins to shake him while yelling out-
"What did you just do, uncle Vanir. What did you do to MY Kazuma?"
"Do not worry for him, Yunyun. I assure you he is perfectly safe... assuming I calibrated the teleportation sequence correctly. If not, then I won't envy him when he comes out of the teleportation. That much I can say with certainty!"
"UNCLE!"
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding. He'll be fine. I just sent him to wear the action is, that's all. Let's turn our attention to the monitor and watch him as he uses the power I just gave him to defeat those things and to send a message to our would be alien invaders that the Earth won't be so easily conquered."
"And how exactly does he use this power you speak of uncle. You never went into detail about that, about what the power in question actually is or what it can do."
Vanir just looks at Yunyun for a moment before realizing she was correct, making him say-
"Oh dear... well, guess I'll need to find another guinea pig to test my little toys out on, am I right?"
"UNCLE..."

Ogre Knight and his Zealot's watched as the people around and near the chemical planet run and scream in terror. Having caused the chaos yet haven't seen their target appear before them, Ogre Knight had decided to move on and find another place to create even more chaos with.
He frowns as he watches the citizens flee, then mumbles out-
"Strange creatures so noisy. Why this need to take so long?"
[Rawrawrawraw?]
came one of the Zealot's making Ogre Knight look back at it and say-
"Right, must make more trouble. Draw target out for capture."
[Rawrawraw?]
"Ah, you make good point. Don't even know what target looks like. Maybe should contact masters about..."
Before he could finish, a spiral of light comes down from above to make a harsh landing. When the light disperses, Kazuma appears on the ground, groaning and coughing as he works to recover from the sudden event he was made to experience.
"Damn it, what the hell? Give a guy a warning there before you... (looks up and sees the monsters shown on the monitor) God damn it, professor. Why did you... never mind."
As Kazuma works to get back onto his feet, Ogre Knight and the Zealot's just give him a curious look.
"What you? How do that?"
[Rawrawrawraw?]
"Hm, could be? Let's capture strange creature and take back to masters. They know for sure."
The Zealot's then begin to approach Kazuma, whose first instinct is to turn tail and make a run for it. He doesn't though as something tells him that doing so would be pointless. Instead, he lets out a sigh as he repeats what he had been told before by Vanir.
"The prof said this belt I'm wearing will grant me special powers. Maybe I can do this... yeah, I know I can do this. OK you cosplaying freaks, feel my might fist!"
Kazuma then goes running towards the lead Zealot, making the entire group and the Ogre Knight stop and stare in surprise as they hadn't expected their target to try fighting back. Kazuma comes in, fist raised and at the ready as he swings with all his might and...
"Ffffffuuuuuu... damn that hurt. I nearly shattered my wrist doing that. What the hell are you things made out of?"
It then clicks for Kazuma; the fact he was standing directly before the lead Zealot and the others of its kind, meaning he was in a rather bad position, especially as he just confirmed his hits would be meaningless. He looks at the Zealot's, giving them a sheepish look, and says-
"Ah... hahaha, look... about what I just did. Would it be possible to forgive and forget what just..."
[RAWRAWRAW!]
The next thing Kazuma was doing, he was running for his life as the thirty Zealot's chased after him. Ogre Knight just watches from the sidelines, not sure how he should act or respond to the sad sight he was seeing.
"Damn it, professor. What am I suppose to do here. Just what special powers do I have... or do I even have any special powers to work with here. You must be trolling me, I just know it."
["Not at all, sad excuse of a male whose currently running for his life!"]
"Professor Vanir... is that you? Where the hell..."
["Mwa-ha-ha-ha, I am speaking to you from the safety of my lab. You should know that long distance communication is also a feature of the belt I gave you. Even better, only you can hear my voice when we're communicating."]
"Oh, that's just perfect. How does something like that help me here? You said this belt of yours can give me special powers. Just what are these powers exactly and for your sake, it better not be limited to the teleportation and long range communication features."
["Do not worry boy, my contacting you is to tell you exactly that as I realized I failed to fully explain everything to you. Now, listen closely..."]
Kazuma keeps running for a few moments more before his panicked expression changes and he comes to a sudden stop. The Zealot's stop as well, caught off guard by his sudden action. Had he given up, accepted his fate? They watch Kazuma as he turns back to face them while saying-
"OK, this whole song and dance is over. I'm giving you guys just one chance to turn around and walk away before I smash you all into dust... assuming the prof wasn't messing with me again."
The Zealot's all look at each other then back at Kazuma before they begin to move towards him. Kazuma sighs as he reaches down and touches the strange symbol; a bug like helmet design, on his belt buckle.
"Don't say I didn't warn you guys. It's Henshin time!"
Kazuma clicks down on the buckle, causing his hands to begin glowing. He then does a series of quick poses as the light around his hands grows to cover his whole body. This makes the Zealot's come to a stop and stare on till the light finally shatters and fades, revealing what Kazuma had turned into.
He was now wearing what appeared to be jet black body armor with gold as a secondary color that had an almost body suit like form. Over this was a light green fabric that gave off the feel of a feudal era ronin design. The helmet was clearly bugged themed, looking somewhat grasshopper like with two long curved antenna. Kazuma then makes a new pose in his armor as he declares-
"Kamen Rider Ronin, ready for battle!"
Once again, the Zealot's look at each other before they finally go on the attack. Kazuma finds he can easily tank and counter their attacks, more or less holding his own. They weren't doing much to him but he wasn't doing all that much to them in turn.
["Ah, that's right. I forgot to add that into the attire. Here you go, boy. Have fun with this!"]
Kazuma jumps back, finding his jumping skills to be rather insane as a light emerges from his belt. He reaches out and grabs onto the light, revealing itself to be a long katana which makes him smile beneath the helmet. He then unsheathes the blade, chuckles with glee, then rushes at the Zealot's, quickly cutting them down one after another.
The Zealot's try to fight back, but they clearly were no match for this person now, thus making them try to make a run for it. Kazuma didn't let them though as he's faster than them and after a few moments more, had turned all the Zealot's into pasty looking goo on the ground.
"OK, that was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Guess they weren't expecting any opposition. So, what happens now?"
He gets his answer quickly as he hears the crunching of the ground, making him look to see Ogre Knight now walking towards him. He prepares himself for the next foe as Ogre Knight says-
"You crush minions. You maybe worthy foe. Come, show me your power!"
"Well, if you insist."
Kazuma then charges at Ogre Knight, figuring he will fall as easily as his minions as he brings the blade up high above him and sends it swinging down hard against the monsters left shoulder.
CLANK!
Kazuma turns to look up into Ogre Knight's eyes, sweat beginning to fall. His blade hadn't even nicked the monsters skin and armor.
"This your best attack? Puny!"
Ogre Knight then reaches up and brushes the sword away like he was brushing off dust.
"Um... could we possible forget what just happened here..."
"NO!"
The next thing Kazuma knew, he took a punch to the gut from Ogre Knight which sends him flying back to collide hard with a car a football fields length away. Kazuma groans, nearly blacking out from the hit as he tries to recover from what he just experienced.
["Wow, that must have hurt, huh boy. In fact... oh, better get moving."]
"Huh, why... oh crap!"
Ogre Knight sudden rushes forward, almost like he teleported over to Kazuma's position and proceeds to pummel Kazuma, grabbing his legs and sending him slamming repeatedly into the ground like he was a doll. As this happens, Kazuma fights hard to not black out as Vanir's voice speaks to him again.
["Oh, this isn't good. You're getting your ass handed to you. That can't be fun. And what's worse, poor Yunyun has just passed out from seeing you get your ass kicked there."]
Ogre Knight then sends Kazuma flying to leave a deep impact on the ground. Luckily, he lands next to his sword which he had dropped when he had first been sent flying. Kazuma struggles to pick himself up as Ogre Knight looks at him and adds-
"Pick up weapon. I give you one final chance before I take you back to masters!"
"Vanir... professor, please tell me you know how I can win this fight."
["Luckily for you, my boy. I have just the thing. Here, take this and do what I tell you."]
Kazuma takes his katana in hand and uses it to help him get back on his feet. He then takes the new object that came from his belt buckle, a sphere that glowed with an orange-red energy with a pulsing glowing gold center.
["Now, place that orb onto the slot at the bottom of the hilt of your blade. You will understand what to do then, boy."]
Kazuma does what he says, placing the orb in said slot. This causes the blade to turn from its silver metal color to a pulsing golden color. He then grits his teeth and shouts out a battle cry as he rushes at the Ogre Knight and with all his might goes thrusting the blade into Ogre Knight and actually manages to pierce it's body.
Ogre Knight looks down at the blade, then back up to Kazuma and says-
"You... pierced me. Not bad, but I not dead..."
"DETONATION!"
shouts Kazuma, causing the energy pulsing within the blade to go flowing into the Ogre Knight. His eyes go wide as his body begins to expand to an even bigger size till it can't handle the expansion. He then explodes, sending Kazuma flying back and making him crash through a building.
If not for his Kamen Rider Ronin armor, he would have surely been killed. Instead, he only blacks out for a moment. Once he regains consciousness, he gets himself freed and looks to see what's left of his foe.
["Good job, boy. You have won your first battle."]
"Great... yay..."
Kazuma then collapses onto the ground, having finally passed out from it all.
["Guess this was to be expected. Sigh, let me teleport you back and treat your wounds."]
A light envelops Kamen Rider Ronin and a moment later, he was on his way back to the basement lab.

"Ah, finally all the hard work has been done. Good job team!"
declared Aqua as she pumps her hand up in the air in victory. Sadly for her, neither Megumin nor Darkness seemed very amused as they both respond by saying-
"You mean all the hard work I, and I do mean mostly mean me here, and Darkness did."
"Megumin's right, Aqua. She did the most work here by actually making all the furniture and such. Once she was done, you had use help you with getting your bedroom set up first..."
"And by that, Darkness means you barked orders and told us..."
"Mainly me, actually!"
"Point is, you didn't do anything but tell us where to place all your stuff in your room and once we were done, you plopped yourself down on your bed and took an uncalled for and undeserved power nap while me and Darkness were left to not only do our rooms, but the entire rest of our mansion base."
There is a pause, like a a scene out of a western except there wasn't any tumbleweeds rolling by, before Aqua finally responded.
"Well, yeah. What were the two of you expecting? I mean, I'm the brains of this little group of ours. I'm not suppose to work hard... at anything and everything. That's your job; both of yours. Now, let's go check on our minions and see if they found that demonic man!"
Aqua then turns and goes skipping off without a care in the world towards the stairs, leaving an annoyed Megumin and Darkness who look at each other, sigh, the go walking after the idiot. Once they had reached the large room that served as their little operations room, only to find Aqua just standing there.
They then step around, seeing Aqua with a shocked and disbelieving look on Aqua's face. They stare at her for a few moments before looking at the large crystal ball and finally understand what was making Aqua looked all shocked now.
In the crystal ball was displayed in large glowing, blinking letters that read-
[Your minions are dead. Your minions are dead. Have a nice day!]
"Mother... what the hell happened to our pets? Why weren't one of you in here watching them?"
Megumin and Darkness just look at her, then at each other, then sigh as they had a feeling this was going to be an everyday thing with Aqua and for them as well.
(back on Earth)
Kazuma groans as he finally awakens to the sight of Vanir and Yunyun looking down at him. He sits up, looks around and finds he's inside the lab. He then asks-
"So, was that a weird dream I was having? Did I happen to pass out somehow after walking down here. Please tell me all that monster fighting was a dream."
"KAZUMA!"
cried Yunyun as she throws her arms around Kazuma, hugging him tightly against her. This last for a good minute before she finally lets up. Kazuma didn't really mind as it meant he got a full minute of getting to feel Yunyun's big boobs pressed firmly up against his body.
Once he was back on his feet, Kazuma looks at Vanir and asks-
"So, that was a thing. At least it's over now."
"Ah yes, about that. I'm afraid this fight is a LONG ways away from being over, my dear boy."
"Wait, what?" (x2)
"Moi is afraid so. All you did was send in the first run of enemy beasties. Now that they know there's someone down here who can fight back against them, Moi is sure they'll start taking this invasion more seriously from the next attack onwards. That means you will have your work cut out for you, boy. Not to worry though. With my brilliant mind on your side, and a lot of training on yours, Moi is sure you'll do just fine... probably!"
There is a silence in the air that feels like it last forever before Kazuma finally shouts out-
"Are you out of your fucking mind, professor. That battle, sure maybe I had a little fun at first, but I'd be crazy if I'd want do make doing stuff like that an everyday thing. I guess what I'm saying is... THERE IS NO WAY, NO WAY WHATSOEVER, THAT I"M EVER GOING OUT THERE TO DO THAT AGAIN!"
"Kazuma's right, Uncle Vanir. Why should he have to risk his life for something like this? In fact, shouldn't we leave this matter to someone who can actually make a difference, like the Power..."
"You both bring up good points, however..."
Vanir takes a moment to think about it, then smiles deviously as he looks at Kazuma, leans in close and says-
"How about this, boy. If you agree to continue to see this fight through all the way into its end, then I will give you the ultimate reward."
"And what would that be?"
"My darling niece, Yunyun of course. You help me out here and I will give you HER to do anything and everything your perverted little mind could possibly think of. So, what do you think?"
"DEAL!"
said Kazuma, not wasting a second in his response. Yunyun irks, then says in a panic-
"Wait, hold on a second. What about me here. Don't I get a say in any of this?"
Kazuma and Vanir look at her, with Vanir saying-
"But of course you do and if you stop and think about it, you already have... by way of your diary."
"Eh... wait, don't tell me you've..."
"Mwa-hahaha, that is right, dear niece. I took it upon myself to look through your diary and have seen what you have written in there concerning the boy here and your relationship with him. For example, you speak on how much you actually like his molesting you even though you know you really shouldn't, and you actually wished he would even step his molesting up a not..."
Yunyun goes running up the stairs, crying and screaming from embarrassment. Kazuma watches her go while saying-
"Wait, you really want me to do even more to you? Hey Yunyun, we really need to talk about this!"
Kazuma then follows after her, leaving Vanir alone to laugh happily. Once he was done, his face shifts to being one of serious as he says to himself-
"Still, I fear we have a long way to go before this will all be over with. Moi just hope you'll be ready to fight the REAL enemy once he has revealed himself... both you and Yunyun, Kazuma!"
The fight had been won, but the war had only just begun...

And thus begins the story of Kamen Rider Ronin began. The early parts of the story has your typical monster of the week format with Kazuma having a usual day, then has to Henshin in order to beat the baddies. He eventually gains the ability to fight the Zealot's without needing to morph and his rider form gains access to new battle orbs, giving him crazy powers.
In his personal life, he and Yunyun continue to grow closer as they both try to ask each other out, but always get interrupted as a romance gag. They both also get forced into joining the band club with Cielo, Lia, and Erika who will be supporting characters in this series.
Kazuma also begins having dreams that have him befriending some spirit girl named Eris who believes all that's happening is because of her, though she can't go into any details about it. She does gift Kazuma with a second, shorter sword that can also use the battle orbs on top of having the power to give Kazuma's Henshin two additional forms: Samurai and Shinobi modes.
Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness eventually discover that Kamen Rider Ronin is Kazuma, resulting in Megumin and Darkness acting like transfer students in order to get close to him so they can learn his weakness. However, this causes them to develop feelings for him instead as they both find him interesting. Megumin loves how he makes the sub-bosses explode and Darkness loves how he beats down the Zealot's. They also develop a liking for Earth living and even Aqua finds herself taking a liking to the Earth, rather the booze which is better than any booze she's had from other worlds.
There's one battle that happens around the thirty percent mark of the series where Kazuma finds himself in big trouble, thus forcing Vanir to give Yunyun her own rider powers, thus turning her into Kamen Rider Kabuki, which is all about performance and dance to distract her enemies and leave them vulnerable to attack.
Eventually, the truth is revealed that Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness have been hunting Vanir and they actually succeed in capturing him, forcing Kazuma and Yunyun to go on a rescue mission to the Wandering Comet. There, they all learn the truth about what happened to their home world.
It seems Maestro is the real enemy, though Vanir confesses it was one of his creations that may have been used to summon it... though it was an overly curious Aqua who turned it on. Maestro then attacked their world, ultimately destroying it all to get the star seed hidden at the world's center.
Vanir did seal Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness away, though it was a means to protect them and that them being sealed away froze them, keeping them from aging physically. Yunyun is also from said world and due to an accident, had her age reversed ten years which also deleted her memories of the world. The star seed that Maestro is hunting is in fact a girl named Eris who has amazing powers and is the girl appearing to Kazuma in his dreams.
Aqua, being Aqua, accidentally releases Maestro from his own prison, thus allowing him to start attacking directly. Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness turn and become good guys, becoming Kamen Rider Wave, Bomber, and Guard. In the end, Maestro succeeds in obtaining Eris but is defeated when Kazuma channels all the power of the others into becoming Kamen Star Rider.
The end has everyone going to leave a quiet life on Earth. Kazuma and Yunyun finally start their long-delayed romance, or at least they try to but often find themselves being cocked blocked by Megumin, Darkness, and a now normal Eris who also want to have Kazuma while Aqua and Vanir are usually having a drinking contest with one another.
The epilogue has Kazuma meeting King Dex of Edenoi, also a Masked Rider who offers Kazuma a chance to join the Masked Rider Warriors. Kazuma's answer is left a mystery for people to speculate on.

AN: Thus ends chapter one of arc 14. As you just read, this entire arc is going to be one-off stories for each chapter. The purpose of this arc is to offer a bit of down time and fun before we move into the final two arcs of Stranger which will have a far more ominous tone.
Also, these chapters will be themed on various ideas I've had at one point or another about possible Konosuba fics, ones I liked but know I will never get around to making for one reason or another. Still, I wanted to share these ideas with you all, hence my doing this before we reach then end.
This first chapter is based on the Kamen Rider (Masked Rider) sentai universe, with some nods to Power Rangers included because why not. Furthermore, in this timeline, Kazuma X Yunyun is the main pairing going on though there's a few others girls trying to get Kazuma's attention. Maybe one or two rivals for Yunyun but they never had a chance.
Future chapters will follow one of two written paths. One will be like this where the whole chapter is treated like the first chapter of an entire fic with a synopsis at the end that summarizes hos the overall story would have gone if it was its own fic.
The other type I'll do will be split into bits and pieces with quick explanations set in between each parts to tell what happened to lead you from the last part to this current part. The next chapter will be like this so you'll understand what I mean then.
Currently, there are six chapters planned for this arc, maybe more or maybe even less depending on how you all feel about this arc in general.
In our next chapter, we'll jump into a new timeline with a little Kazuma X Iris happening (might as well get it over and done with as there has to be a few of them out there). Find out what happens in...
