And here we are peeps! Merry Early Christmas to all of you (all couple dozen of you lol) I'm seeing my story start to pick up a little bit of momentum. I appreciate the follows and favorites, if you enjoy, please by all means, give it a like. This chapter is the long, awaited meeting between the Old and the Young. What will be said? Find out on this installment of Dragon Ball: BtG!

TheHiddenLettuce: I wish I could keep the guy around, but Young Shepard has to grow. If the Old Man is always around to bust him out of trouble, how could the young man improve. Adversity breeds character, and that is what our young OC has to overcome. On his own terms. Passing away peacefully? That's...actually not a bad idea. I'll have to think about that one, seriously. He has certainly earned it! Breaking Taboo's, challenging Gods. We will see how things play out. I still have plans for the Old Man ;). Thanks for your review.

Drunken Hamster: Thank you for appreciating Hercule. I don't plan on turning him into a beast or anything, but self growth is something that seemed to take him years to achieve. He won't be nearly as strong as the other humans, but this Hercule will achieve acceptance, he will understand that Ki is not a trick, much earlier in life. And you like that spot? Nice! I enjoyed writing it in. This is the long awaited chapter you've been waiting for! Happy Holidays to you as well my friend! Appreciate your review!

"FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK I HATE YOU WHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSS! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Screaming for his life in sheer terror, the newly turned saiyan was falling at an incredible rate of speed, having been sent through the portal by Whis. Flailing wildly, he had no control over his body. Trying as hard as he could to turn onto his front, Shepard finally saw his fate, thousands of feet below, the harsh ground awaited him.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YOU SONUVA BITCCCCHHH WHEN I GET AHOLD OF YOU WHIIIIIIIIIIISS!" As the air continued to pummel him, Shepard didn't see any way out of the situation. Barely able to control his freshly made body, Shepard knew he was going to break some bones when he met the ground.

"YOU BASTAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRD! FUUUUUUUUCCCCCK!"

After continuing to plummet, lose control of his body again, and scream for his life for nearly 2 minutes, a light bulb went off in Shepard's head. 'Why am I being such a bitch for? I'm a damn SAIYAN now!' Turning and getting control so he was facing the ground again, Shepard tried as hard as he could to find the ki locked away within him.

"No-n-no-not easy wh-when you're f-fa-falling to yo-your DEATH!" The ground was so much closer, he had only seconds now.

"SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT! NOW OR NEVER!" Channeling as deeply as he could, the young Saiyan planted his feet, still trying to find his ki.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

'CRACK' 'CRACK'

"AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Shepard screamed, tremendous pain coursing through both of his legs snapping upon impact. Falling back on his ass in near tears, the young saiyan looked down at his shattered legs, then he looked up, noticing he had went several feet into the ground, creating a small crater.

"Awww FUCK...FUCK...FUCKING..HELL.." Having barely made any progress to even move, Shepard was resigned to his fate for the time being. He hit the ground like a speeding rocket. He had hoped his newly strengthened saiyan appendages would hold, but he was horribly mistaken.

"Wh...why...couldn't that...swirly haired...FUCK...just...just drop me...off..off on the ground?" Shepard panted out to nobody in particular. He wasn't expecting an answer.

"Because Whis knew of the Zenkai." Looking around for a few moments before finally looking up at the top of the crater, Shepard saw...Himself?

"Wha? Who you supposed...to be..?" The young saiyan felt his body trying to shut down. He snapped his eyes open, grabbing at the nearest bit of rock he could to turn himself over. Attempting to climb out of the small crater, it was near impossible.

"If you think it is impossible, at home, it just might be. But here? Here, anything is possible. Pull yourself out Shepard." Listening to the words of encouragement from who he could only think must be an alternate version of himself of some kind, Shepard pulled.

"AGHHH!" grabbing and pulling one fistful of soil and dirt at a time. "AGHHHHH...AGHHHHHHHHHH...AGHHH!" Each painstaking pull took so much out of the near newly broken saiyan. Finally, after nearly 5 minutes he was successful, turning himself over and laying on his back once he was at the top of the lip of the small crater. As he turned his head to look down, he noticed it was a bit bigger then he thought. Being outside of the crater now, it looked to stretch nearly 50 feet in diameter, and was easily over a dozen feet deep. Breathing hard, he failed to see the Man above him. Feeling his wrist being handled, Shepard snapped out of his tired and pained state, trying to fight whoever it was, but the man was too strong, putting what looked like some kind of hi tech watch on his right wrist. Feeling like he had to be safe, the shock and pain eventually turned to unconsciousness...

Watching his younger self fall, Shepard had flown up 50 feet above the portal and heard all the obscenities and curses. It was strangely...nostalgic. As he continued to see the young Saiyan fall, the Rogue felt something stir.

'Is he...is he trying to tap into his Ki?' Surprise had turned into pride. Knowing that the younger saiyan was going to fall hard, Shepard started floating down, not too fast to catch up with his young self, but enough to react incase his watch picked up any of Gero's Micro Bugs. No longer having a fear of heights like he had when he first arrived, Shepard chuckled at the litany of curses flying from his younger self's mouth, having remembered yelling and berating Whis in much a similar manner. Feeling the stirring a bit stronger, Shepard thought he heard his young self yell something out before deciding to try and land feet first. The Rogue was going to yell out that it wouldn't work, but figured the young man would learn one way or another. 'No no no no no no shit he's gonna hit too hard!'

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

Wincing at the sound of the impact, Shepard slowly landed on his feet, no disturbances. He heard young Shepard screaming in pain. Walking to the crater that His fall had created, Shepard looked down, closing his eyes and looking away. It was bad. He would still say his fall was worse, but young Shepard's legs were simply snapped. It looked like nearly every bone in both of his legs had jutted in different directions.

'Damn. Damn damn damn damn. If I try to reset his bones here we are exposed. The boy doesn't have the concentration or senses to properly defend himself, let alone the ability with the pain and state he is in. He is gonna have to pull himself out. I could try with my mind but I could jostle him too much.'

Hearing the younger man down in the crater cursing and asking all kind of questions in pained speech. One question did ring out clearly. And it was one that Shepard felt now was the time to introduce himself with.

"Because Whis knew of the Zenkai." Watching young Shepard look around for a moment and spotting him, Old man Shepard noticed the young man squint.

"Wha? Who you supposed...to be..?" Seeing the young man struggling to turn over, the older Saiyan decided to offer words of encouragement. He needed the younger man out of that crater. Now.

"If you think it is impossible, at home, it just might be. But here? Here, anything is possible. Pull yourself out Shepard." The Rogue was amazed that the younger man had somehow tapped into his ki at the very last second. Watching young Shepard pulling, screaming with every hand pull towards the top, the older man had never relived his initial Fall to this brave new Earth. He himself had not tapped into his ki, caught completely off guard when asking Whis question after question after question. The Angel had gotten tired of speaking about what he needed to do and dropped him right through. It left him with quite a few puzzling thoughts.

'What has changed?'

Seeing that his younger self had finally pulled himself out, Shepard pulled out the extra Capsule Tech Watch, floating over to the other side of the crater. Wincing at the way the younger Saiyan's multiple leg bones were popping out in different places, the Rogue realized there was only 1 way to heal young Shepard. He had to get him to the healing pod within the gravity room at His Island. Young Shepard was breathing heavily, teeth gritted, trying to keep from screaming in pain again.

"You sure have outdone yourself boy." Shaking his head , Old man Shepard grabbed ahold of young Shepard's right arm. The young man tried to grab at his hand and pull away, but the older Saiyan held firm.

"Oh no ya don't." Snapping the Watch on, he looked at his own Watch, having quickly turned on the notifications for any Bugs in the area. He was very fortunate that he had gotten the Watch on the young man. Keeping ahold of the young saiyan's arm, Shepard used Instantaneous Movement. WOOSH

Seconds later, heard only by the most sensitive of ears within range, a buzzing could be heard over the crater.

Gravity Room Healing Area and Recovery

WOOSH

Having noticed the younger man was out cold, likely due to shock, Shepard needed to get his younger self into one of the 2 Healing Pods that had been fashioned into this style of house capsule quickly. Quickly ripping the young man's top part of his gi and undershirt, the Rogue started on the bottom part of the gi. As he grabbed the right side of them and started to rip, he felt something in the palm of his hand through the pocket. Pulling it out, Shepard nearly fell back in shock.

'M-my iPod!' Grabbing it and holding it gingerly for a few moments, the old Saiyan had carefully put the device off on the table across from the Healing Pod.

Coming back over to his charge and finishing ripping the bottom part of the gi without jostling the damaged legs too much, Shepard hoisted his younger self up. The Old man was very fortunate that the pods were already full of the highest of quality revitalizing formulas, a combination of Vegeta's experience with the use of them, as well as Bulma's ingenius method of combining many of the standing nutrients already in the liquid along with Earth's helping of liquid formulas, the new Liquid that had been made was good for all aspects of many alien bodies, Saiyans and humans included. The Formula within these Healing Pods would set to work on his younger self's body, regardless of the state. It would take longer, but it also might've taken far longer for the older man to set his younger self's legs right. Coupled with the threat of Gero getting ahold of his DNA for nefarious use in the future, Old Man Shepard decided it would be best to get his younger self here as fast as possible. This was one of the most secure homes on the planet. Shepard made sure of it before it was encapsulated.

"Alright...Up ya go Kid." Hoisting the young man up, the Rogue was fortunate that his counterpart was unconscious. There were a few ways that he could've gotten the man child in, he just did it the fastest. Tossing Young Shepard into the liquid, the near naked man's eyes shot open, trying to scream.

"No no no no no no no! Stay...Down. Down ya moron." Old man Shepard pointed down, trying to keep the younger man from attempting to climb out. The young man's arms were flailing in the liquid, clearly not heeding his older self's advice. Pointing to the oxygen mask sticking out next to the man child's face, Old man Shepard wanted to just run himself into a Katchin wall and kill himself.

'Was I really this fucking difficult?...Ok maybe I had issues but this is ridiculous.'

Holding up his hand, the older Saiyan produced a green ki ball, showing it in front of the glass. That did get his young counterparts attention. Noticing that his attention was focused, the older man pointed to young Shepard, then the oxygen mask, then to young Shepard once again. Seeing that he got the message, Old man Shepard finally turned to the monitor, dissipating the ki ball as he did. Seeing the diagnosis, he was relieved that it would only take 56 minutes to heal young Shepard. Looking at the various list of broken bones, Old man Shepard typed in a few commands. Looking back and seeing the young man had the oxygen mask secure and giving a thumbs up, the older saiyan smiled and nodded, hitting the final commands followed by PROCEED. With the liquid starting to stir within the Healing Pod, Shepard saw his younger self's eyes close, succombing to the liquid.

"Well there goes that. It's better then 2 months." Sitting on the bench across from the Pod, the older Saiyan steadily observed his younger self. There was something different about him. There was no way that his younger self should have been able to tap into his ki. If he somehow did though, that would make the older saiyan's job a lot easier. He did feel weaker then Yamcha however. And that had to change today. Old Shepard's goal was to motivate his younger self to be stronger then Goku when Raditz arrives, maybe even a credible match to the long haired Saiyan. He knew his younger self would laugh at his failure to beat Raditz. But it was one thing to see it on tv, or play it in video games. This was real. Raditz had dominated the short lived fight. Shepard had not sparred with Goku or Piccolo, had no access to any real training equipment. Whis had literally dropped him from airplane height, with nothing more then the clothes on his back, and his knowledge. Rubbing at the spot where Raditz had so long ago blown a hole through him, destroying his heart. He didn't know how his younger self would do. But he damn sure knew with access to various training equipment, sparring with the Z Fighters, he could have been better. But that was in the past now. It was time to focus on the future. Taking the heavy BanHammer off of his back and setting it down gently, Old Shepard turned to the side, putting his feet up on the bench and laying back.

"Heal up soon buddy." The older Saiyan said, knowing his younger self couldn't hear it. Closing his eyes, the Rogue drifted off...

"So I see you got to him before that bastard Gero did."

Opening his eyes to the white void again, Shepard saw Marc smirking. Smirking back, the Rogue chuckled.

"Hehehe oh yeah. That son of a bitch won't be getting to him. With that watch on him right now working on Full Assist, Gero won't be be penetrating the shield while the boy is still vulnerable. That was one thing Tights made sure was set right."

Nodding his head in approval, Marc walked over to the little Hub that seemed to just sit in the middle of the void. Sitting in a long chair, Marc at his older age heard his bones pop as he sat.

"Man, being a saiyan sure has its perks. But in here, I feel like I could legitimately fart dust if I tried." Marc said, putting his hand to his chin. Shepard however, was disgusted.

"Just because you are old enough to actually look like you belong with Tights doesn't mean you need to throw it in my face. We are the same age asshole." Shepard retorted.

Marc however laughed at this.

"Sure we're the same age. In one sense."

"One?" Shepard was confused.

"Yup, no doubt you've lived for round abouts 50 years, but you've forgotten my time on my Earth. Remember Shepard, you are me, and I am you, in here. And out there. But we weren't always like that. Whis created a Souless Saiyan, and used my soul to give your body life. You don't remember our very first meeting?" Marc inquired. Shepard however was stunned. He remembered very little of his...birth. He knew Whis had promised him that the Soul that would inhabit the empty body would meld with him, creating a powerful Multiversal Fusion capable of challenging Gods, in time.

"I remember waking up in the pocket dimension, an overwhelming sense of power. What am I missing?" Turning around with a thought, Shepard tried to remember. Closing his eyes and trying to remember his first moments of life. After a few moments, he snapped his eyes open, looking at his alternate, who was slowly nodding.

"Nowwwwww you're starting to get it. Whis had to create a full body and soul to be successful with his plans. When he took charge in creating you, he must have had some kind of template to work with. Something that would make it easier to create a Saiyan who could most likely accept me. Me in my gullible youth, tried to fight you, who appeared to me as the Oozaru. Whis extracted the Saiyan soul but a very minute piece stayed within, enough that when we melded, parts of the true you surfaced to the forefront, mixing right along. That's why when Majin Buu destroyed the Earth, and it broke me, you were able to let me sleep and you were able to continue on. Much like I would channel your part of our soul when I needed more power, especially against Frieza. But regardless, now that that is explained, what do you think?" Marc asked.

The shocked Saiyan would be honest with himself in saying he didn't know. He couldn't remember the clear details.

"It's been a long 48 years." Sitting back in the other chair, Shepard closed his eyes, trying to ponder the information. He knew his birth was foggy, and that Whis had created him. But there was one thing that was nagging at him.

"How did you come up with all this shit Marc? You weren't a genius back home. You certainly weren't smart enough to help Gohan with his homework when he needed it. So what gives?"

Marc laughed, a nice deep laugh. Looking back at Shepard as he slowly regained his calm, his eyes were still smiling when he answered.

"That, Counterpart, is the million dollar question. It's mostly hypothetical and trying to piece any kind of logic I can hold onto with solidity. I figured if Whis needed a human so bad he could just take one and train him or her. But he wanted someone special. We've always had something in us Shep. It can't be duplicated, it can't be bottled up and sold for millions of zenny." Pointing to Shepard's heart.

"It comes from somewhere deep in there. When Frieza killed Krillin, something in us broke. We snapped. I needed to make sure Frieza payed dearly for his treacherous ways. You needed to make sure you were strong enough to put the little shit down. I believe Whis wanted someone who could bring the Saiyans and Humans together in time. But we couldn't do that in our timeline. It was too late. So we broke into another timeline, and will fix this one and hope it flourishes in the future. We have the heart to defend even the hopeless Shep." Marc ended his statement, pulling out a Cuban cigar. Shepard looked at him in disgust once again.

"What? Man fuck off, I'm an old man and if I want to channel my inner Big Boss, I will dammit. We've spoken enough. Should be a couple minutes until the young Slick gets out of the Pod. Skedush Pointy." Rolling the cigar in his mouth, Marc turned away from the fish eyed Saiyan who looked like he was about to keel over.

"Are? A-are you seriously k-kidding me right-" SNAP

Snapping his fingers and teleporting the gawking saiyan away, Marc smiled again, snapping his fingers again to create a flame of ki, he took a couple good puffs of the nice tasting cigar.

"That was fun."

"AHHH!" Snapping his eyes open and sitting up, Shepard had seen Marc holding his hand up and could barely react when everything blacked out.

"Since when could the Little Shit do that?!?" Asking himself more then anything, Old man Shepard was forced to rethink his views on his alternate, the sneaky bastard.

As he started to ponder this, what he feared most came to light.

INTRUDER!

INTRUDER!

INTRUDER!

UNKNOWN HUMAN ON GROUNDS.

UNKNOWN HUMAN ON GROUNDS.

DEFENSES WILL COME ONLINE IN TWENTY SECONDS

"What the fuck is goin on?" Using Instantaneous Movement, Old man Shepard appeared within the living room of the house. Seeing one of the last people he would ever think would come here, and so early to boot. Shepard darted over to the handscanner near the front entrance, using his identity to override the system. 'Gonna have to show my younger self how to enable and disable the programs. Whew'

Walking to the door, he looked through the window, still not believing who he was seeing.

Opening the door and snatching the intruder and pulling him inside, Shepard held him up, slamming him lightly against the living room wall, an angry murderous glare in his eyes, which had turned a deep silver.

"How the fuck did you find this place you LITTLE SHIT?" The diminutive young man was absolutely terrified.

"PLEASE! PLEASE I-I-I CAN EX-EXPLAIN. PLEASE DON'T HURT ME. PLEEEEEEAAASEEE!" The little orange wearing noseless human was on the verge of tears.

"I am going to set you down. You will start explaining. If I don't like your explanation, I will punch you so hard in the face that I will send you right back to Master Roshi's Island, Krillin. DO. I. MAKE. MYSELF. CLEAR?" Krillin was put down, nodding his head dozens of times in acknowledgement.

"Ye-yes s-s-Sir. Bu-but how do you-?" Being cut off by the looming power that was flowing off of the bigger man.

"Don't...worry about it. Out with your explanation NOW!" Shepard was getting angry. He wouldn't hurt the small human, but he definitely was going to scare the living shit out of him.

"R-R-Right. Well Master Roshi sensed you. Said you were unlike any kind of power he had ever felt before. I thought I had been sensing some wild stuff the last couple days but even I felt it. It's in-insane. Did you re-really beat both Piccolo AND Goku?"

Krillin was panicking inside. When he had approached the islands, a set of islands he had only flown by a couple of times, Krillin couldn't believe his eyes. There stood a massive house. A capsule house on the highest island. He had never seen it before. But as he had gotten closer to the island, the monk's senses were telling him to stay away. He had been feeling something strange the closer he got. Like there were 2 powers that felt nearly identical. One definitely felt like the overflowing power his Martial Arts master had described. The other however, though felt almost exactly the same, was smaller then even his power level. Krillin had landed on the island in front of the house and decided to investigate. He was exhausted from flying so far and had only started putting in more effort the last year or so. Before he had even had a chance to knock on the front door, many alarms had started blaring, initially frightening the monk. Not knowing what to do, he had stood still awaiting what would happen in 20 seconds, before noticing a man appear out of no where in what he guessed was the living room. Krillin felt the power up close and was instantly on alert. He felt way stronger then Goku, and when the man had pulled open the door, he expected a hello. Instead, Krillin was grabbed by the front of his gi and forcefully pulled into the house before he could even blink...

"It was a training exercise. I needed to loosen up. Stand over on that pad in the corner right now please." Shepard demanded, pointing over to an adjacent corner, where lay a Scanner Pad that was hooked into the computer system of the house. It would detect any foreign bodies that were not supposed to be on or in Krillin.

The monk did as he was told, definitely not eager to piss this guy off any more then necessary. Getting onto the Scanner Pad, it felt softer then the beautiful flooring.

"Wow this actually feels pretty comfortable for my feet. This house is amazing. But...but who are you? You're clearly strong enough to win the World Martial Arts Tournament. I mean heck you beat Goku AND Piccolo. I fought Piccolo in the last tournament. I thought I could catch him off guard. But. But he was just too strong. I'm glad he didn't kill me."

As Krillin continued to talk, Shepard was idly paying attention. Checking the scanner, he saw that Krillin was clean. This technology had somehow been a genius idea of Trunks and Bra. Utilizing old blueprints from the Planet Trade Ship that had landed, they were able to recreate and repurpose a few pieces of technology that Bulma had discarded so long ago. Bulma never called it junk, just stuff she hadn't found a use for. However her children had, and had it installed in this capsule house, as well as their own houses and headquarters. Mass purposing alien technology had made Capsule Corp billions. Many Billions. Shepard hoped in the coming years, his younger self, as well as Bulma and her kids, would fully integrate alien technology, potentially making them a planet worthy of Galactic notice. But things had to happen first.

As he finished the scan, Shepard motioned to Krillin that it was done. The monk had gotten off the pad, looking up at the menacing being before him.

"U-U-Umm so what now Sir?" Krillin looked down, not wanting to agitate the angry man. But the unexpected happened. Feeling a hand on the top of his bald head, Krillin looked up through the fingers, seeing the man half smile.

"I guess I let you in on a few secrets. But what I tell you, must not leave this house. It is of utmost importance, and just a note of advice. You will want to toughen up mentally. If you were ever captured and tortured, you will break. Everyone does under the right reasons and conditions. Very few have the mental fortitude to withstand that kind of stuff. Walk with me." Turning on his heel and heading back towards the gravity room, going the long way, he heard the little monk run-Walking to keep pace. This was one of the last things the Rogue needed. But he shouldn't have been surprised. He was not that far from Roshi's island.

"What all did Master Roshi say to you, boy?" Shepard asked, continuing to walk to the gravity room. Krillin, not expecting the question, nearly jumped at the man's voice. Stopping and turning around, Shepard gave Krillin a glare, beckoning for him to answer.

"W-we-well he just said that you had power he had ne-never sensed before and that he wasn't sure if you were a threat. We were sensing the battle between Goku and Piccolo and then we felt this huuuuuge surge of power near the fight. It felt pretty terrifying to be honest. Roshi must have been keeping an eye on you because he said you had interrupted the fight. Said you seemed to move anywhere in an instant. And that you were fighting Goku and Piccolo, AND winning. It...it was scary to be honest Sir."

Turning back around and continuing to walk again, Shepard processed what the monk said. It would figure Master Roshi be the one to pinpoint where he was at. The Turtle Hermit must have sent his pupil in this general direction.

"Makes sense. The...surge of power you had felt earlier was Goku's young son, Gohan."

"WH-WHAAAAT? GOKU HAS A KID?!?" Wide eyed, Krillin looked up at the Rogue.

"Well, yes Krillin. Goku and Chi Chi did get married, and well..." walking through the door to enter the hallway leading to the Gravity Room, Shepard beckoned the monk to follow.

"Someday you and the others will be using equipment like where I am taking you now to train. You won't always live with your master, Krillin. However, Bulma has access to the technology which will greatly aid your strength in the coming years. And here we are." Shepard turned open the door to the Gravity Room.

"Whoooooaaaaa this place is huuuuuge. How could you afford all this?" Krillin was absolutely stunned at the size of the room. It had to be as big as a football field if not more. The flooring beneath him felt solid, the walls looked like they could take punishment. Looking at what looked like a computer in the corner, Krillin continued following the man over to the corner where there was another room. Before they walked through, Shepard looked back and down to the monk.

"I wouldn't worry too much about finances. They're not mine anyway. Not anymore. Nobody can know about this. Nobody, Krillin. Do. I. Make. Myself. Clear?" Shepard asked, narrowing his eyes.

"Uhh ye-ye-ye-yes. I won't te-tell any-anyone. I pr-promise!" Krillin gulped, hoping he would get to live.

"Not even Master Roshi. I am afraid this is too sensitive for more then only a couple of people to know. He will find out in time. But right now, you cannot tell a soul Krillin. This is bigger then you. Bigger then me. Bigger then this planet and universe. This is Multiverse-Level of importance young man." Turning the knob and walking through, he saw the last thing he had expected.

The Healing Pod, empty!

Almost starting to panic, he nearly fell face first at the next words.

"Calm yourself ya old turd." Snapping his head around, Old man Shepard saw his younger self, naked with only a towel, having somehow gotten out of the Healing Pod.

"How disrespectful." The older Saiyan could only say, watching his younger self drying off, tail swishing in the air as he did. Grabbing the young man a fresh unweighted Gi, he hurled it at Young Shepard.

"We have company. Your music is sitting on the bench across from the Pod. I didn't have time to get everything ready."

"No sweat man. So who's here?" Looking behind his older self, Young Shepard saw the monk. Widening his eyes and pointing down to the little man, the young man was about to scream out, but his older self phased over, putting his hand over his mouth as he started screaming.

"ISTH KRLLN! G-G FF M-"

"Yes it's him, calm, down." Widening his eyes, Old man Shepard steadily calmed his younger self down from the shock. Helping him to breathe. When he felt that his younger self was calmed down enough, the older Saiyan released the vice grip.

Krillin, meanwhile, had been looking at the pair of 'twins' not knowing what to make of it. They looked so similar. The one in the gi clearly reeked of power and authority. He seemed older, wiser, to Krillin. The other one however, felt...

"W-w-Wait a minute! He feels s-st-stronger then he did b-b-be-before. What is going on here??" Krillin stammered out, clearly frightened at the pair. The older Saiyan, having heard this, turned around to look at the monk.

"To make a long story short, I am a Saiyan. An alien. So is he. We...are the same person, except he is only in his 20's, where as I, am in my 70's. I am from the distant future. Do not ask how I got here, the methods are beyond your understanding. What I will say is that Master Roshi has nothing to fear. We're all on the same side." Turning back to his younger self and seeing that he had his gi on, tail still swishing behind him, Old man Shepard was getting annoyed at seeing it.

"Wrap it around your damn waist." The Old man chided his younger self, who stuck his tongue out and tried to wrap the tail around his waist, only to look like he was about to pass out from the attempt.

"Dude this shit hurts." He went to grab the tail to forcefully wrap it, but his older self grabbed his hand before he could.

"You'll only make it worse. Practice." Leaning in and whispering in his younger self's ear, he said, "you'll want to have an advantage against Raditz next year."

"Oh, duh no shit. Gotcha. Soooo Krillin, do ya wanna spar?" Young Shepard asked the monk. Krillin had been gawking the entire time at the pair.

"Wh-wh-what's a Saiyan?" Krillin asked, not having caught up to the conversation yet.

"We are a race of warriors, from a galaxy far far away. We eat shit tons of food and have tails, and our hair is unusually spiky, black or red or brown, and never changes. We also turn into giant monkeys when there's a full moon out." Young Shepard explained, clearly amused at the little monk.

"You would lose a spar with him right now Shepard, even if your power has gone up since you broke your legs. It would be sad to watch. You have no experience with this body." Old man Shepard explained.

"Aww man, come on geezer. I need the practice. Maybe just one little-"

"WAIT A MINUTE!" Screamed Krillin. The twins looked down at him.

"Is...Is Goku one of these saiyans as well?" Young Shepard was shocked, however the older Saiyan gained a thoughtful look.

"Hmmm, it would seem some saiyans exhibit similar traits. Yes my little friend, Goku is a Saiyan. And Piccolo is a Namekian. They are both aliens. Goku was sent here originally to destroy you all and Piccolo, ironically enough, was sent here to be freed from a cataclysm on his home planet. Goku was incredibly lucky however, coming across Gohan and having the Accident that would change his fate." Old man Shepard explained.

"De-destroy us? No. No Goku would never do that." Krillin said confidently, defending his long time friend. But his confidence started to waver as he looked at the older man's grimacing expression.

"You'll hate the truth, Krillin. But you should be thanking a rock, and Goku's adoptive grandfather, Gohan. An accident...one accident, changed this entire planet's fate. So no, Goku would never destroy this planet...now. But back then? Absolutely, and you would've been slaughtered. Saiyans were born on a planet with a higher gravity then Earth. Our bodies are moderately tougher then a human's as well. Look I don't have time for a history lesson. Suffice to say, I have to prepare this moron for what's to come." Pointing back at his wide eyed younger self, Old man Shepard was starting to get a bit agitated at all of this. His plan had already been derailed, how much worse could it get now?

Krillin looked down at his feet, slightly trembling.

"Could...could a human be as st-strong as a saiyan someday?" Krillin said, barely audible, but the pair of Saiyans had heard, and looked at each other. The younger twin would let his wiser self answer. Turning back to look at the diminutive monk, Old man Shepard sagely answered.

"I will not lie to you Krillin, it would be a...serious trial. Saiyans love to fight and train. It's what we are bred for. A being once told me that humans lack the motivation to be that strong. In my future, yourself, Tien Shinhan, and Yamcha lacked that motivation, content with allowing Goku to always be the defender of this planet. You were content with allowing an alien to defend your very birth planet. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Kakarot came to this planet, had a head injury as a baby, and became known as Goku. If you want to allow that to happen, that is on you. Otherwise, I suggest you always train, seek to improve yourself. Especially if you wish to be a lifelong rival to your best friend. Which as of right now, you are not."

Young Shepard winced at the last of the explanation, clearly feeling like there needed to be a compromise.

"Bu-but you're not far off. Hell I plan on getting stronger then Goku. You better not let me down little man, I'm expecting great things from the humans." Closing his eyes and smiling, the younger Saiyan failed to see his older self's glare.

"Anyway, Krillin. It is high time I get you back to your master. I will drop you off a few miles away so it is not a long flight for you. I wish we could explain more, but I need to brief my younger self here. I'm sure when things have settled down you can come over again and spar with him."

The monk was nearly overloaded with all the information he had. "I-I promise I will continue to train, no matter what. I'd like to be able to fight Goku when we get to be old hehehe." Krillin's nerves were slowly starting to unwind. He felt better about the twins being here. Seeing the twins smile at his declaration made it all the more serious.

'After being told you end up not mattering at all, why should I stop training? I have to make a difference. Someday Goku.' Krillin was thinking to himself.

"That's good to hear Krillin. Humans like the 3 of you are a rare breed. You just might have what it takes." Old man Shepard said. Walking over to the monk, the older Saiyan put his hand on Krillin's shoulder.

"I'll be back shortly, Bittermen." WOOSH

"Wh-wh-wh." The Young Saiyan was stunned. His older twin just disappeared. On him. But then thinking back to the last code word, he busted out laughing. As he continued giggling, he grabbed his IPod, turning it on and seeing what songs were available. As Shepard kept looking, he noticed something off about the device. It was holding a lot more then it should. 'Wait a sec. Didn't Whis say he had put every song I had ever heard in my entire life on here?" Eyes nearly bulging out of their sockets, Young Shepard decided to play something that he knew would get his older twin in a better mood...

5 miles from Kame House

WOOSH

The Rogue and The Monk had reappeared in the air, only a handful of miles away from Kame House, which Krillin could see in the distance.

"Whoa that was fast! It took me so long to fly that way. What did you do?" Krillin couldn't believe what happened, one minute he was in that house on the Island, and the next, he was instantly within a minute or two from his master's house.

"It is a technique that I learned long ago and mastered. It is likely my younger self will do the same. Remember Krillin, there are certain things you must not tell your Master. He is smart enough to figure it out in time. Do you have any last questions for me?" Old man Shepard calmly asked.

"Uhh, well you never said your name." Krillin thought of the most obvious. Shepard had chuckled at this.

"Well. Yes I suppose I didn't tell you. Our name is Shepard. You will be dealing with Him in the future."

"We-were you serious about a human being as strong as a saiyan someday?" Krillin prodded one last time. Wanting to reassure the young man, Shepard gave Krillin's shoulder a squeeze, careful not to crush his collarbone.

"Only if you put the work in. You may have to be willing to die for this planet to become that strong. You'll have to push yourself harder then you thought could be possible. It's about motivation Krillin. Remember. You want to fight Goku someday as a true rival. That will only come with blood, sweat and tears. And strengthening your will to never give up." Giving the monk a final smile, Old man Shepard flew back a few dozen feet, putting 2 fingers to his head and saluting the monk. WOOSH

"What a neat trick." Krillin said to himself, flying back to his Master's house, eager to tell him what he could.

WOOSH

Reappearing where he left young Shepard, the older Saiyan wasn't surprised that his younger self wasn't there anymore. Focusing in on his younger self's ki, he disappeared again.

WOOSH

Reappearing in the living room, the older Saiyan was nearly floored, hearing music he hadn't heard from his old home in so long. As Linkin Park's In The End was playing, Old man Shepard saw his younger self on the ground, sitting Indian style with his eyes closed. Sitting across from him, the older saiyan was mesmerized at hearing music he had not heard in nearly a half century. He had definitely missed his world and what it had to offer, and wouldn't trade much of anything for what he had, and lost. But this? This was a close temptation.

"H-h-how?" Old man Shepard choked out, clearly on the verge of tears.

Opening his eyes, Young Shepard was shocked. He saw his older self, tears slowly etching out of his eyes. Had he really been without anything all this time?

"Whis went into my brain, when I asked him if there was anything I could take at all from my world. He just zapped the iPod in front of me, telling me that he had put every song I had ever heard in my entire life on there."

"Wh...Whis helped you? He just dropped me right into it all, with nothing. I was on the verge of scoring with this woman and-" before the older saiyan could continue, his younger twin grabbed him by the front of his gi, pulling him up to within 2 inches of his face.

"YOU WERE GONNA SCORE?!? Y-you mean you were..."

"Weren't you?" Old man Shepard said, clearly confused.

"Are you fuckin kidding me? I barely even made it over to Mike's house before this...attack just hit me. I think it was barely 4pm when I 'died.'" Eyes widening at this information, Old man Shepard stood up, walking slowly over to a capsule that was on the table.

"That can't be possible. Something must have changed. Somehow. Because I was killed at 11:56pm under this woman, God what was her name? Lizzy? Lilly? Ahhh, anyway. We were doing the kind of things consenting adults do when alcohol and weed are involved, and just out of no where I felt this sharp pain in my head. We had stopped and I noticed that blood was dripping from my face. It happened so, so fast. But thinking about it now, Whis may have attacked my mind a couple times earlier throughout the day. My memories of those times are foggy." Popping the capsule, and pulling out some of the marijuana he had gotten from FP 420, the older saiyan went back to his sitting younger self, sitting across from him again.

"Duuuuuuuude no way! God that smells like absolute funk. Where did that come from?" Young Shepard asked. His nose was scrunching up at the strong, but favorable odor.

"Space. More specifically." Pulling out the Soul Stealer, the purple/blue colored marijuana was laid within the wrap that the older Saiyan brought. "Frieza Planet 420."

"Fr...Frieza recognizes four fucking twenty?" Young Shepard balked at hearing this.

"Amazingly so. Buuuut, I bought all of King Cold's personal stash. So I imagine he is an angry Frost demon, which makes it all the more enjoyable. I'm sure Frieza will get reamed at losing some of the best bud in the Universe." Not knowing what else to say to that, the shocked younger saiyan just said what came to mind.

"Well...Shit man roll me up Geezer."

"For that remark, I will roll myself up. Here, go for it." Handing off the marijuana and extra wraps, Old man Shepard watched his younger self break it up and began to roll.

'What have I gotten myself into?'

4 Hours Later

'Is it just me or is it night time?' Laying on his back, looking straight up, completely stoned out of his mind, was the 70 plus year old saiyan.

"Dude...One of us...Hehe.. One of us needs to get up and change the music man..." the younger now 24 year old saiyan, also laying on his back the opposite way of his twin, was also thoroughly baked. "We've been.. dude we've been listening to the same song for like 2 hours...Geezer?" Looking over to his older twin, he was met with an upside down glare from the Rogue.

"It's been nice to be reacquainted with music from my world again. But you were the one who insisted on putting on Spectre, and putting it on repeat no less. Not to mention, you're a third my age. Get up and freaking change it." The older saiyan demanded.

"Fine...fine fine I'm getting up Grandpa." Somehow making it to his feet, Young Shepard walked through the haze groggily, making it to the nifty music adapter that his older self had installed.

"So you're strong enough to withstand a blast from a God?" He asked as he turned the music off for a moment. His older self had risen upon hearing the question, not looking back.

"In most cases, yes. After Majin Buu, or more specifically, Kid Buu, destroyed the planet, everything changed. I was obliterated, and with that obliteration, I broke. I became...detached in a way. My wife, my children, my planet, gone. When I was allowed to have my body, I immediately used Instant Transmission to get back to the Supreme Kai's world. I didn't even give Buu a chance to thump his chest. He got in the stance and I kicked him so hard in the mouth. I went after that little shit with nothing but hatred in my heart. I had all but beaten him to pink paste, with the newly minted BanHammer assisting me. But his regeneration kept him afloat. He couldn't beat me. I couldn't outright beat him though. Besides, all of the information I have is in my journal, which I will be gladly handing off to you."

Young Shepard pondered this. Turning on Ice Cube's It Was A Good Day, he walked back to sit across from his older self. Who had pulled out 2 packages. Whatever they were, they smelled yummy. And he was unprepared for the loud eruption to come from his stomach.

"Uggghh, dude I've never been so hungry in my life." He complained. His older self didn't look up or at him. Noticing that Old man Shepard had heated up the two meals with ki, Young Shepard oooooed, sitting down in front of his older self.

"One of these are more then capable of filling you up. You should be grateful that I came. Otherwise you would've found this place eventually, built yourself a shack. Until you meet your future wife of course." Smiling as he thought of the memory of first meeting Tights, the older Saiyan thought about telling Young Shepard who he needed to meet, but his willingness to hold firm for his younger self's surprise won out.

"Oh really. Is she hot?" Young Shepard smirked as he asked. Receiving a smirk in return, the older saiyan replied.

"One of the hottest in the Universe. And still looks like a winner in her older age." Fully smiling now, Old man Shepard realized the food was done, giving one to his younger self.

"You gotta be shittin me. This little thing is gonna do the trick?" Blowing on the hot and very good smelling meal, the young man dug in.

Wolfing his down within 2 minutes, the older saiyan was looking at his younger self, amused.

"What's wrong there Bud? Eyes bigger then your stomach?" Getting the middle finger for a response, Old man Shepard bellowed, laughing so hard. His younger self had gotten through nearly 3/4 of the meal, before pushing the package towards his older self.

"Alright so tell me man. What the hell are these?" Young Shepard asked, irritated that he couldn't eat one little package of food. Getting up, his older self beckoned him to follow.

"In my future, Bulma and Tights were able to create these. They just called them Saiyan Meals. They generate far more nutrients per cubic millimeter, plus they have the magical essence of Senzu within them. Whatever, I'm not a scientist. The point is, is that they are the most effective means for you to be able to eat. I left some with Goku, and I have more in a couple of the pantries in the kitchen."

Popping open one of the drawers, Young Shepard saw the Saiyan meals, stacked end to end, inch to inch within. "Wow dude, and I suppose you're gonna tell me that leftovers are an actual thing for a saiyan?" Both twins laughed at the comment. Walking back to the living room, Old man Shepard pulled out the last capsule case he had on him. These capsules were all for his younger self.

"So my young twin, it would seem it's time to get down to business." Watching the younger Saiyan sit down in the chair across from him, Old man Shepard opened the case, turned it around and faced it towards Young Shepard. Pulling the red and silver colored capsule out, the young twin arched an eyebrow, looking at the wiser and older Saiyan.

"Quite a few of these capsules contain various training equipment, personal notes regarding enemies you will face, not to mention notes regarding other planets. Namely, the 14 that I have helped shepherd nearly 1,700 Saiyans too in order to prevent Frieza's outright destruction of the Saiyan race."

"You-you did WHAAAAAAAT?" Young Shepard yelled out, completely taken off guard. Blinking a few times, he looked back at his older self. "A-are you freakin insane?"

"It begins with the saiyan's destruction Shepard." Old man Shepard calmly explained.

"I failed. Whis, he gave me nothing. I had no chance in my time. The Zenos wanted to destroy Universe 7, even after we won the tournament. So much happened. Enemies I couldn't have prepared for. Whis. I can't get over it. He did something. He must have did something to alter your death. He must have foreseen I would fail. He may keep doing this until we complete our Mission. You have to end the Loop."

A hand to his chin, Young Shepard thought back on an enemy that he had seen on YouTube. The problem was, the story had never finished. So he could only speculate.

"Was it Moro?"

At the mention of the name, the younger Saiyan saw his older self narrow his eyes darkly.

"He played a part in it. We were able to destroy him. I have a few personal notes about it. But no. It was someone far worse. We were able to defeat him in the end, but had left so much destroyed. Combined with Moro's devastation, it was too much. The Dragonballs couldn't possibly grant a wish of that monstrosity. Quadrillions of lives, gone. Planets? Dust. The Zenos saw fit to eliminate the problem by outright destroying Universe 7, along with 6, 9 and 4, the lowest mortal powered Universes. For all I know, it's all already gone. My wife, my kids, my grandkids, my world." A hand had gripped the older Saiyan's shoulder. Looking up, Old man Shepard saw a look of determination in his younger self's eyes. He had missed seeing this look on his own youthful face so long ago.

"I will do what needs to be done. With all you've given me already. I promise you Shepard, I will succeed. It will take me decades, I get it, but I will surpass you. And I will rise to challenge the Gods for what they wish to do. Even if I have to stand up to Grand Zeno himself."

Smiling at his younger self's drive, Old man Shepard began to explain what the various capsules were, determined to make sure his young, naive, and stubborn younger twin see his words through.

Over the course of the next few hours, music was played, stories were passed down from one generation of fighter to the next. Old man Shepard had walked his younger self through the house, showing him the vast security he had implemented, making sure that his younger self was keyed into the system. He also showed his younger self the kitchen. Later on, as the older twin had been describing the various Training Capsules, one specifically kept catching Young Shepard's eye. For some reason, it called to him. It was the red and silver colored capsule.

"So the green and white ones hold the various weighted gi's you may want to-"

SNAP SNAP

The older saiyan stopped speaking, snapping his fingers in his younger self's face.

"Dude what is up with that capsule right there? It feels...weird, like water, but it churns very little at the surface, whatever is in there feels like a roaring ocean of turbulence." Looking down at the pointed finger, the older saiyan saw what had been bugging his younger self.

"Ahh, the ever imposing Ki Capsule. A prototype really. Bulma circa Age 805ish. I introduced the idea when I had begun to plan out coming Back. A way for you to...motivate your own self to get stronger. You see this capsule, depending upon how much power you put into it when you go to open it, will open to reveal special training items that will become useful for you over the coming years. It runs very, very deep. As you get older, and stronger, you will be able to access more within it. It's nigh indestructible and made with a double layering of Kachi Katchin. It took Bulma months to create just the shell. Bra, and surprisingly, Vegeta of all people, combined their efforts into creating the space necessary to make this capsule even possible to use. You're going to have to dig extremely deep in the coming years my young twin. Even with the knowledge you have, it's a small percentage of the whole puzzle. It's an uphill battle. No matter how you slice it. Do not ignore this capsule. It can and will help you. You are going to have to put the work in."

At the ominous advice, Young Shepard gulped at that. Picking up the capsule, he stood, walking to the door and going outside, trying to feel the familiar pull within him again. It had saved his life in the Fall. Well, his 'twin' saved him, but still. Closing his eyes, he tried to dig deep.

"Pull from your core Shepard."

Hearing the familIar voice, his former voice, it elicited a smile.

"I'm with you. Just let go. Our older self isn't lying when he says it's an uphill battle. It's about the GRIND. NOW PULLLLLLLLL! AHHHHHHHH!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The wind had picked up, a white aura beginning to appear around the younger saiyan.

As Old man Shepard looked on, his mouth slightly open in shock, he began to smile. Standing as well, he could feel the power, and the potential. 'His power has already pushed past Yamcha from the Zenkai. Him and Krillin are damn near around the same level of power. Perhaps that spar wouldn't have been such a bad idea. Heh.'

"Ugh, ugh, ugh." Sweating profusely, Young Shepard popped the top on the capsule, having seen it done in the show many times before. Through the puff of smoke, he could clearly see something within.

"What the...dude what is that?" Asking his older self, who he could clearly see was not going to answer, as he just watched with a half smile.

When the smoke cleared, Young Shepard saw what looked like a vest of some sorts. "A Kevlar vest? Really. That's your big surprise?" As he went to pick it up however, he felt he was having serious trouble even moving it. "D-dude...?"

"You have to actually get used to your new body first before you start stressing it. Congratulations on finding your ki, but you are no where near capable of forming solid attacks with it yet, let alone fly, or use it to bolster your muscles, offense or defense. Ki is cheaper then gasoline, more powerful then nuclear weapons, and what's crazy, is that I've seen infants use it with more control then you. I would hold off on that weighted vest for a little while. It's not gonna be possible to pick it up until you train your body up some. You could have waited to pop that after I left." Young Shepard's eyes bugged out when his older self walked over, picking it up with one hand, and headed back into the house, setting it off in the corner of the huge living room.

"Dude just how fucking strong are you?" Young Shepard curiously asked, wanting to know deep down if he could pull off the same, if not more.

"Stronger then Beerus. Jiren and myself fought briefly in the Tournament of Power. But without my trusted BanHammer, I couldn't hold out long enough. I spent 2 days in the HyperBolic Time Chamber with Vegeta not too long before I came Back. He wouldn't let me get ahead of him in power. We pushed each other, nearly killed each other on several dozen occasions. But I think in that time, in our older age, we finally started to work out our differences. We went in blood rivals, and came out with respect for one another. In those 2 days I am pretty sure we succeeded in pushing past Beerus' level of power. It's truly hard to say. But I know I can beat Broly. Speaking of Broly, it is likely you will be dealing with him in the far distant future. He is on Vampa now."

"Holy...Shit." Sitting down in stunned silence, Young Shepard couldn't help but face the realization that he would have to deal with a version of Whis someday. "What...what about Whis? A-are you gonna stay here and train me?"

"I can't. I have business to attend to in other places. To be frank my young twin, I highly doubt we will see each other again. I wish I could say different. But...Yeah. I have to be honest. If we do happen to see each other again, it will not be under good circumstances." Going back outside, Old man Shepard looked out across the ocean, his younger self falling in step behind. Pulling the massive BanHammer off his back, as well as the magnetic holder that held the weapon in place, Old man Shepard began to channel his power within his trusted weapon. A wind began to pick up, nearly blowing the young Saiyan back into the front door. 'T-t-this...is in-INCREDIBLE!

After nearly 30 seconds of holding the weapon in his outstretched hand, Old man Shepard opened his eyes, nearly bulging out of his sockets. 'So. So much POWEEEEER!' Regaining his calm, he went to hand the weapon to Young Shepard, who in turn held his hands up.

"D-Dude I don't-"

"Take it." At the simple command from the older saiyan, Young Shepard held his out in turn. The handle of the weapon was ridged, but not in an uncomfortable way. It fit just right to him. As his hand grasped the handle of the weapon, he caught a flash of white, and then black..

Opening his eyes, Young Shepard looked all around him. Seeing the trees, the dozen planets in the sky seemingly in suspended orbit, the many mountains, he was nearly overwhelmed.

"Over here Shepard." Snapping around, Young Shepard saw his older self, standing on a small hill. The older saiyan was overlooking the lands, familiar to his eyes but not to his young and naive self. Hearing the footsteps of his young twin, Old man Shepard began to speak.

"You will find in this Universe, so unlike ours, that anything is possible. Our Earth was mundane, always at war, nuclear weapons in mass, with more then enough firepower to blow the world up 10 times over and then some. The show only showed one small spectrum of this Universe. You will find yourself surprised more often then not at what will occur. I've set the table for you Shepard. Universe 7 should have a better outlook in the future, but it will be on your shoulders to bring it all together." Peering out into the landscape as he listened, the younger saiyan was entranced by the scenery.

"What..what is this place?" Both standing 6'2", Old man Shepard looked over into his younger self's eyes, a bit of rueful happiness in his own.

"The Hammer I have gifted you with, the BanHammer, has its own...dimension of sorts. When the Elder Kai had helped to craft this weapon for me, after unlocking Gohan's energy, he made sure to create it with one of the strongest known materials in the entire Multiverse. Kachi Katchin is not easy to bend, but with magic? Not a problem. The Elder Kai pulled the image out of my mind, really. I wanted something longer then the Mjolnir. A longer handle, the base of this weapon is a bit bigger then Thor's hammer. In addition, this weapon can only be lifted by myself, and now You. I once tried to give the hammer to my son to wield, but he would say it didn't feel...attuned to him. The weapon has always had its preferences hm hm hm hm. But do not worry. You and I are far more alike, considering we are the same person, and have similar habits, BanHammer will recognize you." His mouth ajar at the description, the younger saiyan blinked several times.

"Sooo you're telling me it can fire lightning?" The younger saiyan was giddy. But seeing his older self's disapproving glare halted his celebration.

"No. It does not outright fucking fire lightning. We're not Thor, dumbass. But it is near indestructible. I think I've maybe had to smooth out 2 chips in the entire time of the weapon's creation. And it was from a God. NOT Beerus. Plus, in time, with your mind, you will be able to make the weapon heavier. It will be a weapon you'll find yourself constantly using for a training tool. There are truly no limits to the BanHammer. On top of that, it will help you to channel your power more efficiently, like Thor used for his hammer. You'll be able to fire Ki blasts with it, buuuut I guess if you wanted to channel your ki into lightning it might work. The list goes on. Make sure you look within my personal journal after I leave." Finishing his explanation, he looked back out in the distance.

Young Shepard was awed by the weapon, watching as it appeared between the 2, landing on the ground with a thud. Grasping the handle and lifting the weapon up, the young Saiyan could feel the power that it potentially held. Looking back up, he noticed that the 'dimension' was fading out. "What's happening to the landscape dude?" He asked his older twin, a bit concerned. Old man Shepard waved it off, continuing to look out in the distance. As they watched, everything just faded away.

"I would come here seeking peace. When Elder Kai created the BanHammer for me, he made it to be a fully magical weapon. This landscape was just a place of peace. It's fading out because she recognizes that there is a new owner. You will make your own Peace Shepard. This landscape will change vastly as you grow older and more refined. It becomes what YOU need it to be."

"She?"

"Ahhh. You caught that. I've dubbed the Hammer a she. She's protected me from some of the most incredible attacks. Up to and including Universal busters. You'll learn to trust her in time." Winking, Old man Shepard looked on as the last of the dimension faded into white. Turning and looking at his younger self, who was holding the weapon with a smile on his face, the old man smiled as well before everything faded back to black...

Opening his eyes, the black soon opened to a world of color once again, seeing his older self had let go of the weapon and he now fully held it up on his own. 'There's...there's so much fucking power in this thing!'

'No shit! Just don't go cracking the planet in half with it Arale.'

Hearing the distant voice and chuckle in his head, Young Shepard chuckled in return.

"Ah, I see you're getting to know your inner self quite well." Old man Shepard said, noticing as he looked on that his young twin was entertained. 'If he can just stay motivated, the outlook of the future is already brighter.'

Walking over to his younger self still admiring the BanHammer, Old man Shepard put his arm around the young twin's shoulder. Looking over to him, Young Shepard quirked an eye. They walked back in the house, the old man pulling out an item he had been saving for...Himself.

"Here. Take this journal. And be sure to be at Capsule Corp on the date listed. You have to be there." Old man Shepard urged, looking worried as he said it. The young saiyan opened the journal to the note his older self inscribed and seen the date written in beautiful handwriting.

December 23, 760 a.k.a. The Day My Life Changed

"Alright Shep. So this journal will describe what I will need to know in the coming years?" Young Shepard asked

"Decades Shep, decades." His older self ominously answered. "I am leaving you with the knowledge that you will finish what I have tried to start here. I have broken taboos that Gods have deemed worthy of obliteration. You won't be seeked out because you yourself haven't done anything yet. Just... just be aware that Whis will be watching you. And they do come 4 years after Majin Buu. Not 6 months. But I need to do a couple more things first. Mainly. I need to destroy the Time Capsule I have on me. Which I plan on going to a distant planet to do here shortly. The rest of my plan I will keep to myself. Someday you will understand my young twin. Make sure to keep that watch on you at all times. I can't duplicate the technique fully without it, and you're unfamiliar with said technique. Do not worry. That is also in mine, now your journal. That Capsule Watch, combined with your Ki, will create a near impenetrable, invisible, And indestructible shield around you that prevents things like Dr. Gero's bugs from taking your DNA. Trust me. You do NOT want that prick having anything of yours. If you bleed, that watch continuously is pumping a small stream of nanotechnology within your blood, allowing the blood to be disintegrated when it leaves the body longer then a few minutes. Dr. Gero is relentless and his bugs are everywhere. Destroy his entire lab, including the basement. Do NOT let Cell live. The show was very right in that regard. Right now the Watch is set on Full Assist Mode. The battery within is powered by a battery fueled with Divine Ki. It will last a lifetime. Only when Cell is destroyed as well as the labs will be the safest time to take it off, but even then there are still players of that mad scientist out there. Android 21 exists in this timeline. My journal has detailed notes regarding her. There is a...timeline of sorts in the journal to help clarify some things. But some other things may have already changed. It is time that I take my leave my young friend." Walking towards the front door, Old man Shepard was stopped by a hand on his shoulder. Looking back, he saw the determined face of his younger self.

"You...you-you take care of yourself old man. And thank you. For everything. I will do my absolute best to see your work through." Young Shepard said, finding the determination to stand strong as he watched his older self smile.

Remembering he had one final thing to give to his younger self, Old man Shepard unclipped it off of his sash, tossing it to his younger self. "I made a wish on the dragon balls to make a limitless pouch of Senzu beans. Be careful with it. It's one of a kind and though it is near indestructible, it can still be destroyed."

Catching it, Young Shepard watched his older self turn, heading to the front door.

The older saiyan walked out of the door, feeling the fresh air. Much fresher then his old home, which had been polluted in many urban areas to the point of smog inhalation becoming a more common occurrence. Turning around and looking at the house one last time, he saw his younger self walk out the door, giving his 2 finger salute to the forehead that he had done back home. Giving the 2 finger salute in return, Old man Shepard smiled.

WOOSH

And that's that. This chapter was fun for me to write. The meeting that happened, happened the way it did because Old Shepard is a codger. And before you ask, he wanted his younger self to fall for the Zenkai's sake. I hope that you guys (and girls?) enjoyed this chapter as much as I did. In my mind as I wrote it, I expected to have trouble. But quite the opposite in fact. I just picture an older version of myself in my head and things just fell into place ;-) thank you for reading. I will take your reviews however you wish to write them. Happy early holidays everyone!
