Tamora laughed as she jumped underneath her home's covered porch and out of the rain, quickly followed by her twice as drenched date. Catching their breaths, they stared out into the downpour they'd just been caught in.
"Here," the blonde returned the handyman's work jacket, which he'd tossed over her at the first sign of a drizzle. Still, it was sopping wet, and so was she. "Thanks."

A small puff of amusement escaped the sergeant's lips.
"Or…" she grinned, arms snaking around his neck. "You can come in and help me."
The handyman's face had grown so red by her suggestion, she was sure all the remaining raindrops on his face would evaporate.
Slowly, Felix's grip on his work jacket loosened. And letting the dripping piece of clothing fall from his fingers, he fervently closed the distance left between them.
