Skype

Just then, Taylor's computer starts bleeping. She stares at it in horror.

"I...I should get that," she says. "That's my mom."

Heart in her mouth, she goes over, puts the computer on her lap and answers the Skype call. "Hi, Mom."

"Hi, Taylor. How are you?"

Taylor tries not to look at the huge turtle in the room, or at the other one coming through the window. "I'm fine."

"Are you? You haven't called or Skyped as often as you normally do, and you only do that when something's wrong and you don't want to talk about it."

Taylor feels all the blood leave her body. She knows Leonardo and Donatello are watching her. "Well, I...I kind of thought I'd been calling too much lately. People I know in New York don't call home every other day."

"I didn't think you'd been calling too much, Taylor. If I do, I'll let you know. OK?"

"OK. Um, I'd better go, got people coming round. Can we talk tomorrow?"

"Of course. I'm looking forward to it. Bye!"

"Bye." Taylor hangs up and closes her laptop, setting it aside. She stands up. "Donnie said you wanted to talk to me."

Whatever this is, she can handle it.

Both times we see Taylor in the film, she's talking to her mother. Clearly, she does that a lot.
