Smoking
Inside the Greenhouse Museum, Bandit and his brother's family were looking at the spinosaurus statue. Bandit and his workers had found out that the spinosaurus was pretty bulky and too heavy to have the ability to swim underwater. So they had to redesign the reptile again. It had slightly longer legs, A curved sail, And a flat sail-like tail. It was in a prowling position on fake rocks, With a leaf background. A fence surrounded the gigantic Reptile, And on the fence were the pictures of the Dogs who Discovered it. Bandit's deceased Boss had a bigger picture, Than the rest of his workers. Taking all the Credit. The rest of the workers were barely even visible, "Asshole" Bandit said through his teeth.
"Uncle Bandit, why is your picture so small?". Muffin asked, Pointing at the picture, "Because my boss wanted to hog all the credit". He said, Knocking on his dead boss's picture, He looked down to his left to see socks admiring the large dinosaur. "You've been quiet for a while socks, Are you ok mate?" Bandit said tapping her shoulder, Socks just looked up at her uncle and then back down at the floor. "She hasn't talked in 3 years, Bandit". Trixie said moving over to her mute Daughter, "We've gone to 3 therapists but, They couldn't make her talk. They all said, What happened to her on that day traumatized her for…..life". Trixie said, Covering her privates, Just talking about that day when chilli had stabbed her in the vagina. Made her instinctively cover her private area, Stripe noticed it and grabbed her other hand calming her down.
"I'm Sorry that we never tried to contact you, Brother, At first I was mad at you. I don't know why, maybe because you invited us to the hospital. And I couldn't find anyone to blame, For what happened to Trixie and socks". He said, Looking down at the floor with shame. "I just hope you can forgive me, Bandit". Bandit walked up to his younger brother, And lightly punched him on his shoulder. "C'mon on brother, that's all in the past, It's time to move on. I don't hate you, I've missed you, I'm Just glad that you're doing alright". Bandit said, Stripe just looked up and smiled at his brother. "H-How are Bluey and Bingo doing Bandit, Maybe we should visit them one day". Trixie said, Rubbing Her husband's hand with her thumb. "They're doing alright. They're on a playdate right now, I just wanted to see the spinosaurus. because ya know….This dog Took it out of the Ground". the Blue Heeler said, pointing his thumbs at himself.
Stripe and Trixie just stared at the Blue Heeler, with tired looks. "At least you're still full of yourself Bandit". They both said, Bandit just waved them off, "Well we have to go now Brother, We're gonna go plan a trip to Sydney. It's gonna be our 16th anniversary of us meeting each other". Stripe said, kissing the top of Trixie's head, Bandit just smiled at his brother.
He was happy that even though Trixie couldn't walk, They still loved each other. "That's alright, I'll text you later Mate, Tell me what I've missed for the past few years. You and I have a lot to talk about". He said, shaking his brother's hand, Stripe pulled him in for a hug. Bandit was surprised by this But accepted it anyway. "Bye Uncle Bandit, Tell Bluey and Bingo we said Hi". Muffin said as she walked away with her parents, Socks waved at her Uncle. When they left, Bandit's smile went away, He sighed. Even though he was happy that his brother was doing good. But seeing how stripe still had a healthy relationship with his wife. Made him realize how lonely he is, Sure he has his friends And his kids. But besides that, he has no one to sleep with, To hug, or complain about his day. All he does is hug his pillow, Acting as if it was Chilli. He had to replace multiple pillows, For what he had done to them on very lonely nights. He was not proud of it.
OUTSIDE OF BRISBANE MUSEUM
Brandy had parked her car near Bandits, She got out and looked at herself in her window, She had cut the hair that extended on the side of her head. She didn't look much different, But she liked it. She had also used makeup to hide the purple bruise on her face. the Red Heeler grabbed her pink purse and began walking up the stairs. What she didn't know was that stripe was just beside her, Carrying Trixie down the staircase to her wheelchair. The Blue Heeler didn't notice her. But Muffin looked at her, And for a second she felt like she had seen her before. But that feeling went away when her father called her. She and her sister walked down the concrete stairs.
Brandy walked up to the front desk, Where a tiny female chihuahua was managing some paperwork. "Hello, I was wondering where the dinosaur bone exhibit is located. I've never been to this museum". She said, The Chihuahua took out a small folder where she laid it out on the desk for Brandy. "This is where the dinosaur bones are located, You just gotta pass the Crocodile statue". She said in a high-pitched voice, Brandy stood still for a second and bit her lip. "U-um ok, Do you mind if I take the map with me?" She asked nervously to the worker. "Sure take care, mate". The chihuahua said waving at Brandy as she walked off to the dinosaur exhibit. She looked around the museum. Families were walking around with their kids. Some were Looking at whale bones, others were looking at a snake tank where an emerald python lay still on the Branch. It looked very interesting to the red Heeler Until she looked in front of her to see a stuffed croc statue.
"GASP"
She covered her mouth with her hand, It was large, about 12 feet long, A Largemouth staring straight at her. Even though she knew it was dead, It still terrified her to the bones. Brandy began to walk around it acting as if it was alive, She got some gazes from the public. She then sped walk away from the dead reptile, She opened the map to see where she would head next. It was just around the Corner, She entered the large room to see giant statues of Dinosaurs. While some statues were merely bones others were fully constructed dinosaurs, What they were tough to look like millions of years ago. "Wow, This place is so cool". She said distracted by the statues Until she bumped into someone's stomach.
"Hey Brandy," Bandit said, looking down at her with a smile. Brandy quickly got off of him and got a little red. "Ooh hey Bandit, Sorry I didn't see you, I was too distracted". She said looking around again, Bandit was glad that the museum interested The Red Heeler. "Yeah it's pretty cool, But come on you have to see the spinosaurus". He said walking down the path to where it was located, Brandy followed the Blue Heeler. She kept on looking around, distracted by the statues. "Here she is". Bandit said pointing to the large statue, "Wow," Brandy said, impressed by the reptile, She had seen a movie where a spinosaurus was chasing around people stuck on an island. But that was a Hollywood movie, Where they changed everything to look more impressive to the audience. But this was different, It looked more natural, Bandit was surprised that Brandy was not scared by the huge reptile. Since it did somewhat look like a crocodile. He looked down at the pictures, Where he looked back at his boss. He started to feel hate toward him,
"Why does he get all the credit and we don't? He never drugged up shit. He wasn't in the blazing sun for 12 hours every fucking day"
"SRRCH"
He started to dig his nails into the plastic window leaving a mark on it. "Bandit" Brandy said, The Blue Heeler looked beside him to see Brandy looking at the scratched glass. "Have you been taking your pills lately?". Bandit looked away from her, He started to tap on the glass nervously. " Brandy I can't take them anymore you know what happens when I do". Bandit said looking away from her, Brandy clasped his shoulder. "And you know what happens if you don't, There's a reason they're prescribed to you". She worried for the Blue Heeler, Bandit just sighed. "L-Lets just go see something else". He said walking away, Brandy looked back at the spinosaurus sighed, and began to walk with Bandit.
"By the way Did you get a New haircut?" Bandit asked Changing the conversation. "Yeah I just cut the sides really, It was starting to look like a mullet". She said shuttering a bit, Bandit however smiled. "I'm definitely getting that mullet now". He thought
MEANWHILE AT THE PARK
Judo was trying her best to get on the last bar, But she couldn't swing hard enough and she was losing her grip. "C'mon Judo you're almost there, Just swing a little more". Bluey cheered her friend, Judo swung her legs back and forth to try one last attempt to swing herself over. "I… Can…..do….I-" She said, as she slipped and fell on the mulch. "You were almost there Judo, High five". Bingo said, Holding her hand out, Judo Just pushed off the mulch from her fur. "I'm never gonna make it". Judo complained, crossing her arms, Bingo walked up to her with an open hand. "Aunt Brandy told us to never give up on ourselves, That only Babies give up, And Big Girls get the Job Done". Judo looked at the Red Heelers hand, She saw the medium size scar on her arm. She saw it a few times, When she looked at the Heeler girls playing with their dad through her window. the Chow Chow grabbed her hand, And Bingo picked her up.
"So is aunt Brandy the one that visits your house every week. My Mum says that she's Your dad's girlfriend?". Judo asked, Bingo and Bluey just looked at each other with a confused look. "No, They're not dating, We've never seen them smoochy kiss. Why would your Mum think that?". Bluey said holding her hips, "Well I mean she comes to your house every week. And sometimes Your Dad and Aunt are in the backyard talking for hours, And hours". Judo said, Bluey then started to think about what Judo was talking about. It was true that they would sometimes talk for hours. And everytime he would go out and have a walk, He would ask the girls what they thought about Aunt Brandy. But even then, He never showed any emotions towards Brandy.
"I-I mean, I did almost call her Mum by accident, But what do you think Bingo? Do you think Aunt Brandy could be our new Mum?". Bluey said, Looking at her younger sister, She started to think about it. But it could happen, She had always seen Brandy as a mother figure. Ever since her mum had died. But even then it would have felt like they would be replacing their own mum. Even though Chilli did try to kill the red Heeler, She had learned to forgive her. "I-I have to use the Bathroom". Bingo said walking away to wendy, Bluey and Judo looked at each other, confused. Wendy was on her phone talking to Stripe. "Ok for how long?... A week, Stripe I can't take care of them that long…….Yes, I know that, But I don't think I can handle the two of them for a week……..Ok, that's fair, But when will you go?... Alright in the meantime ill fix up the guest room……Yeah, tell her I said hi, And that I understand why she acted like that……alright Bye".
"Beep"
She put her phone in her pocket, As Bingo walked up to her. "Hey Judos Mum, I'm gonna go use the bathroom". She said, scratching her old scar. Wendy had seen the scar before But never had the chance to ask her about it. "Of course dear, Do you want me to walk you inside". The Chow Chow offered, "No it's ok, I'm a big girl, And I can do it by myself". She said walking away, Wendy kept an eye on her, making sure she made it inside.
Bingo entered the public bathroom, She put her back against the wall and dropped to the ground. The Red Heeler didn't want a new Mum, she wanted her real mother. It wouldn't be the same, Even though They would without a doubt get along together, And have a fun time. It still felt wrong to Bingo. She took a deep breath through her nose, She was gonna let all her stress out……….. Until she smelt it. Her eyes opened wide open, It was an alluring aroma. That she just could not resist, The Heeler began to walk on all fours sniffing on the ground. She began to walk inside the bathroom. No one had come to clean up the bathroom for a while, She opened one of the stalls. A small Red Pudgy Bird lay on the ground, It wasn't moving. Bingo slowly crawled up to it, Her lips were drooling. The sweet smell of raw Blood is something that Bingo never forgot.
"Chirp"
It was still alive.
"Chirp"
It had hit a window And broken its wing.
"Chirp"
It has been on the ground for hours now suffering alone.
"Chirp"
It heard a growl and looked behind itself. A red Heeler with madness in its eye was looking right at her. She was slobbering saliva out of its mouth, Her eyes were constricted.
"CHOMP"
THE PLAYGROUND
Bluey And Judo we're still talking about Brandy, Judo was however starting to ask awkward questions. "So if she was your new Mum, Do you think They'll make another Baby. And if they did what they named him or Her". She said, grabbing on the Monkey Bars, "Well…Aunt Brandy Can't have kids, She says her tummy decided to not allow kids to grow inside. My dad said it's called infertility". Bluey said, Judo, looked back at her mother. She was distracted by her phone, Which gave the young chow Chow an idea. "Bluey when Bingo comes back from the bathroom. Let's go in together. I have something to show you". She whispered in her ear, "But I don't need to go to the Bathroom, And why can't you show it here?". The Blue Heeler said, She looked back to the Bathroom it had been a while since Bingo had left. "Just Trust me It's really cool", Judo said.
Bingo walked out of the Public Bathroom, She wiped the Blood off her mouth, With the back of her hand. She licked it off to make sure no one would notice, Even after 3 years the smell of blood would still make the Little Heeler crazy. But even then Bird's Blood did not taste as good as Dogs Blood, The bird tasted oily, And sticky. While dog's blood tasted soft, juicy, and smooth. She would even sometimes bite herself a little hard, just so she could get a taste of it. Bingo walked up to Judo and Bluey, Trying her best to not look suspicious. "Oh hey Bingo, Me and Bluey are gonna go use the Bathroom, It won't be too long". Judo said grabbing the Blue Heelers' hand, And taking her to the Public Bathroom, Bluey looked Back at her sister. She didn't know why but she could have sworn she had seen something red on her Hand. "Hey Mum, me and Bluey are gonna go use the Bathroom". Judo said to her Mum, Who was distracted on her Phone, Looking up how much food she was gonna need for some visitors. "Ok Sweety".
Judo let go of Bluey's hand, And Began to speed walk to the Bathroom, When they both entered. The chow Chow opened one of the bathroom stalls, And invited Bluey in. She locked it, The Blue Heeler was still confused on what Judo wanted to do. "Ok Bluey, Promise me you will keep this a secret between us". She said holding her hands behind her back, Judo had a huge grin on her face. "Im…..Ok i guess". Bluey said, rubbing her left". Judo then took out a small white plastic Box, on her left hand. And another small box that looked like metal from her right hand, Her grin never leaving her face. "What is that?". Bluey said, grabbing the small white Box, She opened it to see a small white Tube with a bit of orange color in the Bottom. The tip was filled with what looked like dead shriveled up leaves. "They're called cigarettes, My mum puts them in her mouth and takes a breath and this gray fog comes out of her mouth. I've asked her to let me try it, But she said something about it turning your lungs black, But I don't Believe her. I think she just doesn't want to share it, And keep it all to herself". She said, Not believing a thing her mother said. "Um, Judo, I don't think this is a good idea. Maybe you should listen to your Mum". Bluey said, Starting to think this was all a bad idea. "Oh come on I told you it was gonna be cool, Let me show you I bet it will change your Mind". Judo said grabbing the cigarette packet from Bluey's hand, She opened the lighter and turned it on. She had seen her mother do it a few times, When she went outside, for a smoke Break.
"SSSSSSSSS"
The cigarette was now lit, And Judo Placed it right in her mouth. She took in a deep breath,
expecting a relaxing feeling to overwhelm her Body. But all she got was a mouth full of Smoke.
"COUGH"

Her body rejected the smoke, And she began to choke on her spit, This worried Bluey. Judo kept on coughing and coughing, So she unlocked the door And ran outside up to Wendy, Who was playing with Bingo on the swings. "Higher" Bingo cried, As Wendy tried her best to throw The Red Heeler higher in the air. "JUDOS MUM". Bluey yelled as she grabbed Wendy's arm, "Judo Is choking on the ground, We have to help her". Wendy in an instant began to run to the bathroom, Leaving Bingo to swing all by herself. The Red Heeler was starting to lose her balance."BLUEY HELP". Bingo cried As the Blue Heeler tried her best to get a hold of her swinging sister.
Wendy ran inside the Public Bathroom, To see her daughter still choking on the ground. She grabbed her daughter and put her mouth near the sink, she turned on the water and Judo began to drink up. She stopped coughing, And started to take in deep breaths." Judo, what happened to you, Why were you coughing?" Wendy said worried for her daughter, Judo didn't want her mum to find out she was smoking. So she tried to think of a lie, But it wouldn't matter when the Older Chow Chow turned her head around in the bathroom stall to see her box of cigarettes and lighter on the floor." Wait a minute……Y-You were smoking in here. DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH TROUBLE YOU'RE IN". Wendy yelled at her own daughter, But before Wendy could yell more at her daughter. She heard crying coming outside from the bathroom. She ran out, And saw Bingo on the ground huddled up, Screaming in pain. Bluey was in a panic state, yelling at Wendy to help her.
BACK AT THE MUSEUM
Brandy and Bandit were sitting outside of the museum. Sitting on chairs where they could eat their food. It was some fairly priced fish filets, And chips. "You know where I've always wanted to go, Brandy". Bandit asked, putting a handful of Chips in his mouth. "Where?". She said, Giving him a napkin to clean his face."They call it the land of the free, Where when you turn 18 you can buy firearms, A place of pure democracy". Bandit said wiping his mouth, Brandy was confused." America?". She guessed, cutting up her fish, And eating it up." Yeah I want to go there in June with the kids. But I was wondering if you want to come with us. I was planning on going to Florida, Are you up for it?". He asked finishing up the fish, Brandy just stood there thinking about it. They have gone out on long trips before, But this was different, It was America, She wasn't even certain if Bandit was being for real.
"Are you serious Bandit, Are you really inviting me to America". She said wagging her tail a bit," Yeah why not, We've known each other for years. And you're pretty much the only person that I know that can deal with the kids. Remember that one time When the kids started to have a mental breakdown when I was explaining to them why the sun isn't a Planet". Bandit said, While they both cringed remembering that day. It took both of the Heelers 3 hours to perfectly explain it to the kids." Yeah I'm up for it, I've never visited any other country. But what day are you planning to go". She asked the Blue heeler, But Before Bandit could answer his phone began to ring in his pocket. He took it out to see Wendy was calling him, He held a finger to let Brandy know it was important. She nodded as the Blue Heeler answered the call.
"Hey Wendy how's it going, Are the Kids having Fun?". He said, Brandy just scowled, And began to jab her fish multiple times. Bandit noticed it But thought that she hated the food. "...What?...
Which Hospital?………WHY……..I'm going there right now but you better have a good excuse for what happened to her". Bandit Hung up his phone and grabbed the rest of his food and shoved it in his mouth. "I'm sorry Brandy But I have to go, Bingo is at the Hospital". Bandit said, walking to the parking lot, Brandy Got up and took her purse following the Blue Heeler." Wait, why is Bingo in the Hospital? What happened to her". She asked, Bandit, opened his door and started the car. "Bingo, Broke her arm in the park, She's in the Hospital. I'm gonna go pick up Bluey and Bingo". Brandy was worried for the young heeler. "Which hospital, I want to see if she's ok?". Bandit didn't even hesitate, He took out his phone And showed her the address. Brandy ran off to her car, They both began their drive to the hospital
BRISBANE HOSPITAL
Wendy, Judo, And Bluey were outside of the waiting room, Wendy had her fingers on her face trying to think of what to say to Bandit, When he arrived. Blue looked away from Judo, She blamed her for technically causing Bingo's arm to Break. Judo had her head down, Knowing just how much trouble she was gonna be in when she got home. "M-Mum are you mad at me?". Judo said, Holding her mother's shoulder, Wendy just used her fingers to flick her daughter's hand off her, She was not in the mood. The young Chow Chow had her feelings hurt, Small tears flowed from her eyes. "I hate you Judo". Bluey whispered under her breath, Judo had heard it, Bluey could have called her worst things. But she knew a small sentence would emotionally hurt the Chow Chow. It caused her to bring her knees up her face to cry quietly on the chair.
