I've been working on many chapters for different stories to get them going. I have many Marvel fics going on at once which honestly I don't mind. Hopefully, you all won't mind it either. We have my Loki fic which is God of Lies and Mischief, we have this one and we have one deep diving into Shield and Hydra called Centuries. I also have a plan for a new story for Moon Knight. But I haven't had a chance to write this story coming out soon with Moon Knight. I promise you that I will work on that one too. I also have a Stark Sister story as well which I'm slowly working on. I hope that you guys enjoy this next chapter. Without further ado Chapter 19. ENJOY!

Chapter 19

Seven figures came out of the snow like they were ghosts covered in white snow. They shook off the snow and continued to move forward.

Another figure raised in red, white, and blue followed them. He blocked a bullet and it pinged off of his shield. He then spun around hurling his shield and knocking a Hydra Sniper out of the three that it hit.

Violet let out a soft chuckle shaking her head lightly. "Shall we continue on our way Captain?" She questioned with a small smile.

Steve nodded his head in agreement. "Let's move forward."

CAFACAFA

Violet rode in the back of a jeep with Steve and Jones who were being driven by Duggan away from the burning factory that they had destroyed.

A Hydra fighter plane swooped down over them guns blazing.

Steve quickly put his shield up to block the gunfire.

Violet looked at Jones. "You might want to hurry up there Jones," Violet said as she ducked to keep herself from getting hurt by the fire that was being rained down upon them.

Jones opened up his .30 Cal and fired it right up the middle hitting the plane and making it catch fire, spinning out of control, and crashing ahead of them.

Violet turned her head letting out a soft laugh as the jeep came to a stop and the three men were staring at the fallen plane.

Steve turned his attention to Violet. "You were expecting that?" He asked rather surprised.

Violet let out a soft chuckle. "You didn't?"

Steve shook his head lightly.

"All planes do that." She clasped her hand over Jones's shoulder. "Good job."

Jones smiled a coy smile. "Thank you, ma'am."

"You're one hell of a shot."

Steve sputtered in shock hearing Violet curse.

Her eyes slid over to Steve. "Sorry Captain, but I occasionally curse."

Violet leaned tiredly against Bucky in her bed back at the barracks.

Bucky rubbed her arm softly. "Have you heard anything from your brother yet?" He asked softly, pressing a soft kiss to the top of her forehead.

Violet let out a soft breath and shook her head lightly. "No, nor has his friend that I sent a message to. I am covering everything to see if anyone heard from him, and sadly his friend never heard from him." She said softly shifting on the bed and making herself more comfortable.

"I'm sure that you'll hear from him soon. Perhaps your friend will hear from him."

"That's the hope…"

"You're doing well with not knowing where he's at."

"I am hoping that Jimmy does contact me… I can't say that this is the easiest thing for me… but I know that Jimmy wouldn't do this unless he had to."

Bucky let out a soft hum. "Do you think he would be upset with us?"

"About us?"

Bucky nodded his head slowly. He was worried that Jimmy found out that he was dating his twin sister. Bucky didn't know how Jimmy would react to him dating Violet. "You don't think he would be upset to find you dating someone."

Violet turned to face her boyfriend. "Now you listen here, James." She said his real first name feeling him shiver at her calling him that. "Jimmy won't do a ruddy thing. Granted he'll be mad because he doesn't know you, but he'll lighten up by getting to know you."

Bucky gave her a small smile as he looked at her with a look of adoration. This woman was making his world very complete. He could see himself settling down with her. "You think so?'

Violet nodded her head.

"I think we're getting close to the end of this war."

"You do?" She asked softly, looking up at him.

"Yes, I do."

"Where do you see yourself being?"

Bucky's cheeks flushed in embarrassment.

Violet blinked seeing the embarrassment across his face. "James, what is it?" She asked softly, touching his cheek softly.

"I see myself settling down." He said softly, admitting the truth. His heart rammed in his chest threatening to explode out of its cage. "Marrying the girl I love."

"M-marriage?" She asked, her eyes widening in shock. She hadn't expected Bucky to even admit something so intimate like marriage. And even more than that marrying her.

"Yes, don't you see yourself settling down with perhaps me?" Bucky asked softly looking into her hazel eyes wondering what she was thinking. He was concerned that perhaps she didn't see their relationship this way.

Violet took a deep breath. "I do it one day." She admitted softly knowing that was what deep inside her heart that was what she wanted. But the sad thing was she had been engaged once many years ago and the ring sat in its box on a shelf in her home not seeing the light of day again. It was back in the earlier years of her life 40 years before this war time.

"You do?"

Violet nodded her head slowly. "I do." She admitted softly knowing that he would probably hate her to know that she would outlive him. But she couldn't bring herself to ruin the moment that the two of them were having at that very moment. She wanted to savor this moment as much as she possibly could.

Bucky leaned forward brushing his lips softly against hers in a sweet kiss.

Violet kissed him back sweetly knowing that this was the life that she always wanted and needed. Even though she and her brother were gritty fighters and would continue to live in a world without their friends and loved ones, they would be together forever.

Bucky ran his hand lightly through her hair in a loving way. Perhaps once the war was over that he could go to one of the jewelry stores and find a ring proper for Violet that he would indeed propose to her once the war was over and done with. The two of them could move on with their lives and have children and the best life that they could together.

I tried my best to write this chapter out, but I had to split Chapter 19 into two parts which will make this section Chapter 27 instead of 26 chapters.
