Kelly and Matt Chicago fire chapter 1
The first day
Matts pov
I walked into the fire academy for the first time after signing up for the CFD I immediately noticed a man with greyish hair standing in line three spots ahead of me. When he turns around I can see his eyes a beautiful color grayish-bleu. I want to walk up to him and just touch him, that is when I get a punch in my ribs I look behind me and see Gabriella Dawson my best friend since high school we did everything together until I moved to Seattle with my mother how moved there to be closer to my brother how started working there as a doc but at the age of 17 we moved back when my brother started working at Chicago med. That is when I got in contact with gabby again we started hanging out this is when I started identifying a gay. Dawson and I always went to clubs and bars when we were on holidays we went to parties together but then we hit 21 and this is when we chose to try and become firefighters.
Gabby grins at me and pulls up her eyebrow me and her always had the same taste in men, so we both looked at the men standing there talking to the fire captain when he turned around he saw us staring and grinning as if he enjoyed being looked at, that is when he starts walking towards us and the cold sweat starts to pour out of my body. Gabby immediately makes herself scares and heads to her bunk while I stand there frozen next to mine. He the cute grayish-haired man says my name is Kelly, Kelly Severide I just stare at that beautiful face of his and he pulls up an eyebrow "and what is yours? " I quickly snap out of my state of just staring at the man, suddenly I can't speak anymore because I fumble with words my name is ah ah m…. matt, Matt Casey I grab his outstretched hand an shake it he has nice hands and a firm grip.
Our next few months were filled with drills and tests. 2 months later gabby and I walked out of the gates of the CFD academy as a firefighter and a brand-new PIC, gabby had experienced sexual harassment and transferred to the PIC training program, with us walked our new friend Kelly Severide how had become our friend during the training program and he had stood up against the lieutenant that had harassed Gabby. I still had feelings for him but I did not out them to him the only one who knew was Gabby, Kelly was detailed to house 98 truck 75 and I was detailed to house 51 truck 81, Gabby was put in charge of abo 61 also stationed at house 51.
Kelly's Pov.
While I stood in line waiting to be called to get an assigned buck I felt the stare of two sets of eyes looking at me, I sneaked a look at the two people a blond cute looking man and a smaller woman who were talking to each other. My look just stayed on the man who looked amazing his slightly blue eyes and his blond hair were stunning I did not know what his name was but I wanted to know. NEXT… I was so intrigued by the man that I was not paying attention to the line in front of me and the lieutenant sitting behind the table where information was checked and bucks were assigned needed to scrape his throat and say it again, NEXT .. that is when I turned my head and stepped forward. Sorry, I mumbled and got my new gear and the number of my new bunk and walked away as I entered the bunk area a captain who had seen what had happened pulled me aside and started talking to me but in my head, I still saw those gorgeous eyes with a little glint of happiness in them. That is when I felt that same feeling of being stared at I turned around while the captain walked away shaking his head, I looked directly at the blond man with that same woman next to him. As I started to walk over to them the woman almost ran away and set her stuff on the bed next to the bed the guy was standing next I looked at the number on the card. What a great coincidence my bunk was that on the other side of the now frozen in place staring man, I walked up to him and held out my hand, my name is Kelly, Kelly Severide I say the young man just stands there until he seems to get startled by the soft rasp of my throat. That is when he cutely introduces himself to me "eh… eh… M…. matt, Matt Casey. He then grips my hand as he looks shyly at the ground.
During training, I start looking at Matt and this continues to go on until we graduate but I don't know what to do with my feelings I never felt anything for a man but I notice that I cant go to sleep until I know that Matt is sleeping safely.
