Chapter 4

Shanks looks towards the opening of the alleyway that leads back into the village. He and the others are able to hear the cheerful voices of the villagers moving around, shopping and just carrying on with their everyday lives.

Shaking with fear Blue Jam looks up at the silver eyed man holding him in his right hand by the collar of his shirt. "You….you…wouldn't kill….kill us here…" He questions with fear, lacing his voice with a slight stutter.

Shanks eyes shift down towards the trembling man within his hand. "No. I am not as cold blooded as you. I shall take you into the forest to take care of you there myself." He growls out at the man held within his fist. Looking over his shoulder towards Ben he smirks darkly. "Have the others gather them and we shall take care of them. As well have a couple clean up the mess here." He orders.

"Aye Captain." Ben answers him. Looking over his shoulder Ben looks at the men with a smirk on his face.

"Aye." They cheer as one as several gather bodies and others gather barrels to gather water with as two back the entrance of the alleyway.

Luffy looks up at Shanks with an innocent smile on his face. "Why don't I take you to where the Tiger Lord calls his hunting grounds or the massive mountain bears? For I do believe he would be happy to clean up after you once you are done." He tells Shanks and Ben never losing his innocent smile on his tiny little face.

Zo, Ace, and Sabo look at him with their mouths hanging open with shock. 'What the fuck!' Is their shared thought as they look at the little ball of sunshine that stood before them with his blinding beaming smile.

Shanks as well as Ben arch a brow at the sweet little boy. "Are you sure about that Luffy?" Questions Ben with a bit of shock in his voice at hearing the boy's suggestion.

Bouncing on the balls of his feet he grins up at Ben. "Yup." He chirps up at the man now standing before him. "Also I may have done this once by accident. I had a few drifters chasing after me." He began with a tiny sigh as his large eyes looked back up towards Shanks and Ben with fat tears slowly beginning to well up at the corners. "I didn't mean to run towards the Tiger Lord on the mountain hunting ground. I was trying to lead them to the fighting monkey's gramps every time has me fight when he randomly showed up to visit me." He tells them as he now looks down towards his sandals feet as his right foot kicks a small right before it.

Ben moves his right arm towards Luffy's left shoulder as he gently squeezes it. "It's okay Luffy. You didn't mean to lead them to their deaths. You just wanted the fighting monkey's to save you from whatever they had planned to do to you." He tells him trying to reassure the little boy standing before him.

Sniffling Luffy just nods his head slowly at the man's words as he still keeps his head hung low. Not wanting to look up at the man as his tears slowly begin to stream down his small chubby cheeks. 'Okay.' He whispers out as he moves his right arm across his nose wiping away his snot and tears from his face.

Zo walks up towards the little boy that has opened up his home to her. She places her left hand on his right shoulder, slightly shaking him. "You said you want to be the King Of All Pirates?" She questions him.

Slowly Luffy looks up at her with his eyes hardening as his tears slowly begin to stop. "Yes, I want to be the King of All Pirates." He tells her as his young voice becomes steel once more. The steel he had shown to Blue Jam and his fools not so long ago.

A large toothy smirk grows on Zo's face. "Then, you do know Pirates at times do have to kill to live another day. I also know there are Pirates out there that don't like to kill and just leave the other Pirates bloody and broken. So they are able to fight another day." She tells him as she looks towards Shanks for him to catch her message.

His silver eyes meet with the girl's silver eyes. He gives her a large smirk. "You are very wise for your young age, little lady." He tells her, as he looks towards Luffy. Who is looking up at him. Shifting his grip on the trash he is holding. He gives the young boy a soft smile. "She is right. When we are out on the seas. When we go into battle we try not to kill. We just leave them bloody and broken." He tells the little boy with another soft smile.

With another sniffle Luffy nodding his head. "Yeah, you both are right." He tells them.

Shanks grins once more. "Come on Luffy. We have trash to take out." He tells the little boy that he is growing more attached to each and everyday he is around him.

"Okay." Luffy chirps feeling his mood lighten as this has been a secret he has been carrying heavy in his heart for about a year now.

"Alright, the anchor showed us the way." Shanks tells him with a chuckle as he throws Blue Jam over his shoulder.

Ace and Sabo just look at each other and back to the Pirates and the two strange kids they have met today. As they had been put down for the Pirates to take care of the trash and clean up so no one would stumble upon the mess that had been left behind from the small battle they just had.

Shanks and the others follow after Luffy. As he leads them deep into the forest towards where he knows the Tigar Lord calls his hunting ground. A massive roar becomes louder the closer they get. Luffy stops dead in his tracks as he cranes his head to the left or right. He holds up his tiny right hand up into the air. This silences everyone. Ace and Sabo who decided to tag along gripped their pipes tightly as their knuckles turned white from how hard they were gripping it.

"Shit." Ace hisses out with his knees shaking. Because of his last time he had a run in with the monstrous tigar. He almost became it's afternoon snack.

Sabo slowly takes a step back from the sounds of the roars of the Tiger Lord. As he tries to move away from the sound. For his back to hit against something hard. Slowly raising his head looking up at what is behind him. He lets out a sigh of relief at the sight of Ben standing right behind him. Ben just smiles down at the kid. "It's alright kid. Nothing is going to happen to you." He tells him, trying to reassure him. Sabo slowly nods his head in agreement.

West Blue

"Young Master." A childish voice from behind him.

Turning around, a man with blonde hair looks over at a girl wearing a pink bear outfit. "What do you want?" He questions her as he looks back out the window of the snow before him.

"Word has come from the East Blue that John Wick has been sighted." She tells him.

His head snaps back towards the girl. "What did you just say?" He demands as he makes a fist at his side. Glaring at the girl standing on the other side of his desk.

"It appears he had shown up at the island where we found the woman." She tells him.

"Hmmm…..someone must have tipped him off." He moves his right hand up towards his chin tapping his finger on his lips. "I wonder who would have tipped him off. For we hadn't found any den den's in her home after we had left." He tells her as he pulls himself from his thoughts.

"No matter, just ignore it." He tells the girl as he moves to his large leather chair. "We have important things to worry about." He tells her with a dark dangerous smirk grows across his face as his tongue hangs out of his mouth.
