Carly is still at Kelly's; she is very worried after Jax finding out about Jossyln and Dex's relationship and the fact Dex works for Sonny. Her boyfriend Drew Cain walks in and goes up to her, he kisses her and notices that she is stressed

"What's wrong?" he asked

"Jax is back in town." Carly responded

"I didn't know he was coming back." Said Drew

"I didn't either. He came back to surprise Josslyn for the holidays." Said Carly

"What's the problem?"

"I'm thrilled that Jax is back for our daughter's sake. They haven't had the time to visit each other and they should spend the holidays together, but I may have ruined it," said Carly

"How?" Drew asked

"I told Jax about Dex and that he works for Sonny." Carly responded

"Oh boy! I take it Jax didn't wasn't thrilled to hear that." Said Drew

"He was furious. For years Jax was always worried about the danger Josslyn was in while living with Sonny and I always had to assure him that our daughter would be safe. Now that Sonny are I divorced he could finally let his guard down knowing that our daughter was finally safe away from Sonny, but now Dex has brought Jossyln back into Sonny's world and it's my fault." Said Carly

"How is it your fault Carly?" Drew asked

"I encouraged Josslyn to be with Dex even knowing that he could put her in danger at any moment working for Sonny. Last summer Dex was shot and Josslyn was harboring him in her dorm room. Instead of calling of police I enabled her to keep helping him. Now with Jax back in town Joss is going to be torn between her father and Dex," said Carly

"Look Carly, whatever happens between Joss, Jax and Dex is between of them to work out. Josslyn is not a little girl anymore. You can't fix this for her." Said Drew

Josslyn Jacks was in her dorm room studying when suddenly there was a knock at the door, she answers it and her boyfriend Dex Heller standing at the door. Dex grabs her and pulls in her into a kiss.

"I thought you could use a break from studying and grab some lunch." Dex suggested

"I would like that." Josslyn responded

Josslyn grabs her phone and checks it

"I have a lot of missed calls from my mom." Said Josslyn

"It must be important." Said Dex

Suddenly there was another knock at the door, Joss answers it and it was her father Jasper Jacks. Josslyn was stunned

"Dad!" Josslyn shouted

"Hello Joss," said Jax

They hugged and reunited while Dex looks on

"This is such a surprise. Wait is that why mom was calling me?" she asked

"Your Mother was my first stop before coming to see you." Jax responded

"Dad, this is Dex Heller my boyfriend." Josslyn introduced

"I've heard so much about you sir." Said Dex shaking his hand

"I've heard a great deal about you too young man especially the part about you working for Sonny Corinthos." Said Jax

"Mom told you?" Josslyn asked

"So, tell me Dex, what kind of work do you do for Sonny? And don't tell me you deliver coffee because I'll know better." Said Dex

"Dad stops!" Jossyln shouted

"Look sir, I care about your daughter and I would never do anything to intentionally put her in danger." Said Dex

"Has anyone ever told you that you have a slight resemblance to Jason Morgan? You remind me of him. he used to say the same things and make the same promises." Said Jax

"Dad, Dex has saved my life more than once. When Heather Webber tried to kill me, Dex saved my life. I wouldn't be here it weren't for him." said Jax

"I'm grateful to you for saving my daughter, but that doesn't change the fact as long as you work for Sonny you are still a danger to her.

"Look Dad, Dex and I are going to be together and if you can't accept that then maybe I don't want you here." Said Josslyn and she and Dex walkout.
