Opening File: Hall of Heroes

The Hall of Heroes is the major base of operations for members of the Justice Friends and is stationed in GrimmFall. From here all actions of the Justice Friends can be monitored worldwide, locating any dangers ranging from a simple theft to a country wide threat. Almost one member is always on watch, keeping their communicators active and constantly monitoring the world wide network for possible threats. Despite being the main headquarters not all Justice Friends actually live there, some of them choosing to live somewhere else when living life as a civilian.

The Hall of Heroes is built to accommodate a large group of heroes, even though the Justice Friends are a relatively small group. The building hosts a conference room, a monitor room and a storage area that houses a vast collection found by the Justice Friends over the years and stored inside their vault to keep them out of the wrong hands.

"Lairs, headquarters, club houses, whether you are a super hero, a villain or just an average Joe you got have some secret place to hang out in. A getaway from life and the troubles it sometimes brings. Look at me, I've got my own starship." TOM gestured around him as the file closed.

"Excuse me?" SARA appeared next to TOM in her holo-form.

"I mean 'we'. We've got our own ship." TOM quickly corrected.

"Hmm…"

"Anyways, we all have our getaways, whether they be secret spots or big headquarters and they are all important to us." TOM quickly ended his lecture.

"Your performance was…satisfactory."

The five Vehicon Generals were assembled before Gelorum as she sat in her command chair, observing the visual records of their past missions. Their colors greatly contrasted with the black and green background of the Racing Drone city but Gelorum had deemed it necessary so no one would think to link them to her

"You backed the Grimmslayer into a corner and you proved our Gem Destabilizer weaponry to work against a fusion. However you also allowed Sammael's pet science project to get the better of you and you failed to properly dispose of the Gems before any heroes appeared." Gelorum simply stated the facts.

Obsidian hovered forward. "Our apologies, my Lady. There were unexpected complications."

"I am aware." Gelorum brought up the data Obsidian and Strika collected, even though she had already looked them over. "So, Pink Diamond lives after all. This changes everything."

She stared at the image of Steven Universe with an unimpressed glance. For a Diamond of all Gems to have been living on Earth this entire time, it was an unacceptable problem.

"A Diamond embedded in the skin of a human…A possible hybrid perhaps done through an experiment previously unknown." Gelorum mused. "And now Major Glory will have taken it to the Hall of Heroes to speak with them regarding your attack." She brought her hands together. "It cannot become aware of the plan to rescue the Elementals from the Gem Homeworld. It's time to move to the next stage of your test."

Gelorum stood up from her command chair and walked out onto the balcony of her palace, followed by her generals. Down below, assembled in a large courtyard were legions of drones, resembling the generals she had made in every way minus a few differences in color. These were the new drones to be added to her army, made entirely of machines with the ability to transform into vehicles and designed to be deadly to anyone designated an enemy to Gelorum. These drones were not like the drones that had been designed to race and win at any costs.

They had no sense of self, no self-preservation and constantly needed supervision to remain effective which not even Gelorum was capable of so she reconfigured five of them to act as leaders. She made them more durable, introduced strategic and personality programming and even used experimental technology to give them a unique power source to ensure they would never run out of energy, ever.

And now that her generals had proven themselves in battle it was time to test their worth in commanding her forces.

"Jetstorm, Thrust, Tankor," Gelorum started, facing the three drone generals she had mentioned. "You will be in charge in mounting an assault on the Hall of Heroes. Sammael's sources have informed me that the Asgardian Valhallen and the Infraggable Krunk are seeking the other two members of their team for their mission to retrieve the Elementals and that Miss Spell and Phan-Tone are in Gravity Falls investigating Bill Cipher. That will leave Major Glory, Tiki-Torch, White Tiger and Capital G defending their base. You are to attack and keep them distracted for as long as possible."

"Piece of cake!" Jetstorm replied enthusiastically.

"Done." Thrust nodded.

"Tankor smash hero bots!" Tankor raged.

"My Lady, not question your judgement but the Hall of Heroes is heavily guarded and is located in the center of GrimmFall. Strika and I were only able to sneak in because of our vehicle modes." Obsidian spoke. "A drone army would be easy to spot and the ground bridge would be easily detected inside the city."

"Which is why we won't rely on the ground bridge to reach the Hall of Heroes. I believe someone will be of assistance to us in this matter. In the meantime, Obsidian you and Strika will meet with the team Sammael has gathered in the Twisted Forest to prepare your assault on the Gem Homeworld." Gelorum stated calmly. "Succeed and you will be rewarded. Fail and I will consider you all to be defective and wil be decommissioned."

All five drone generals saluted and bowed their heads. "We will not fail."

"There is one last objective." Gelorum held up a projection of Steven. "If possible you will bring me the hybrid." She stared at the boy. "He may be of use."

"My birth mother was human and so is my male sire but I am not and I never was. Before I was even born my father, Bill Cipher appeared in my mind and made me who I am today." Pacifica explained as her eyes became yellow slits. "I am my father's herald and the one who will bring him into this world to bring an end to all order."

Dipper stepped back, bumping into the door and quickly tried in vain to open it. "He-" He was cut off mid-call as some kind of force completely immobilized him.

"Now, now let's not have any of that." Pacifica said as if scolding a child, forcing Dipper to turn around.

Dipper saw the eye on her forehead glowing pink and grunted as he started walking towards her. "What…are you..doing-"

"This would be my Semblance at work." Pacifica explained, slipping a hand under Dipper's chin, smiling at his terrified expression. "You remember how those Blind Eye idiots were able to turn into monsters? The Semblance is the manifestation of Aura which is powered by souls. My father was able to place a little bit of himself in their Auras and mine, modifying them in a way. When I was born my Aura had already been awakened and modified to the point I cannot be considered human."

Dipper was forced to raise his arms, one going around Pacifica's waist while she took the other one before they started to…

Dance?

"So you know of me." Mandy remarked, not sure whether to be impressed or annoyed that the boy in front of her wasn't flinching from her burning gaze.

"Of course. I read your file."

Mandy raised an eyebrow. "I have a file?"

"Everyone has a file."

"Hmph. I guess I shouldn't be surprised by how you Grey People freaks like to keep tabs on everyone, including Fallen. However if you know what's good for you you'll turn around and walk away." Mandy said, holding out her hand that emitted a soft orange glow.

The boy stepped forward and to Mandy's shock grabbed her arm and the orange that signaled the use of her Semblance vanished.

"Your Semblance allows you to cause anything that comes within physical contact of you to explode. Impressive." The boy smirked. "My name is Billy and my Semblance is called Cancellation. It allows me to cancel out the effects of any Semblance I touch, even ones used by a Fallen."

Mandy's eyes widened in surprise as this boy named Billy had the nerve to pull her onto the dance floor, wrapping an arm around her waist and while keeping his grip on her arm. It took a second for her to realize that Billy was dancing with her, her body automatically responded to the movement and she conveyed her anger to him in the form of glowing red eyes and a burning glare.

"You've got nerve, I'll give you that." Mandy said, pulling Billy slightly closer as she started to lead, driven by pride and possibly interest. "But I follow no one and it seems that file you got on me didn't tell you what I do to people who annoy me."

"Go ahead. Show your Fallen powers to everyone in the room. I bet our hosts would just love to see it." Billy dared. "Want me to tell you which ones of them would be thrilled to see what you are."

Mandy narrowed her eyes while allowing Billy to spin her.

"Usually when someone manifests their Semblance it is always limited to a single ability even if it can evolve. For starters if you are able to run faster than the speed of sound the more you learn to use it the longer you can run and even evolve to run even faster." Pacifica continued as they slowly ball room danced. "But thanks to my father mine was made to have more than one specific power. After all it's not like he could trust those Blind Eye idiots to keep things in order for him. So he had my male sire preform a ritual that bonded a piece of my father to me on the day I was born, using my mother as a sacrifice."

"He sacrificed your mother?!" Dipper gasped, unable to shout because of her Semblance. "How can you work for him then?"

"I told you, he was in my mind before I was even born. I have no connection to my male sire or my deceased mother." Pacifica said, her smile remaining in place as she had Dipper spin her. "All I have known and need to know is my place in my father's plan."

"And what is his plan?" Dipper questioned, now starting to focus on all he could learn even if he was still essentially a puppet.

"That you'll have to wait and see."

Xxx

"And what are you hoping to prove?" Mandy asked, continuing her dance with Billy. "That you actually don't dance like you have to two left feet?"

"I was curious. You are the first Fallen I've ever seen." Billy shrugged. "And you're not so bad to look at either."

Mandy growled softly. "Don't think just because you cancelled out my Semblance I can't hurt you. I could break you in half with a flick of my wrist."

"Go ahead and try." Billy encouraged. "I'd love to show you a few moves I've got. I am actually here for the Northwest and their one eyed friend but we did have Intel of a Fallen nearby."

"Hmph. And what will you do now?" Mandy questioned.

"For now, I think I'll enjoy this dance and the party." Billy smirked as he gave Mandy one final spin. "What about you?"

Mandy shoved Billy away. "I am not easily impressed or interested and it's quite easy and unwise to make me mad. That being said, next time we play, Billy I hope you are ready because no one ever gets the drop on me and gets away with it. Nobody."

Billy simply watched as Mandy walked off, heading to the doors and leaving the mansion and the party behind. He had stopped her from destroying the mansion by making himself a target. One that she would take great pleasure in tearing apart piece by painful piece.

"I am looking forward to our next dance, Mandy."

"It seems our time is up." Pacifica's eyes returned to normal and released Dipper from her hold. "I have what I want."

"What? What do you mean? What did you want?" Dipper asked, stepping away.

Pacifica giggled. "To dance with you."

"What?"

"I needed to do something while Preston was away." Pacifica shrugged.

"Away? Where has he gone?" Dipper questioned.

"You'll see." Pacifica turned to the door. "I better see how things are going at the party. Do try to avoid causing a ruckus, Dipper. I'd hate to have to throw you out, literally."

Dipper watched as she left, unable to decide what he should do or even if he could do anything at all.

After finally having the courage to go through with their plan Mabel was the first to walk right up to Marius and greet him with her practiced lines.

"Hi! I'm Mabel. So, Australia, huh? Do you guys eat kangaroo meat over there, or... are they... strictly pets?"

"I am from Austria." The boy corrected with a confused frown.

Mabel laughed nervously while taping Candy's shoulder. "Tag! Tag!"

"I am Candy!" Candy greeted with a bright smile. "I love the tiny hats you wear on your shoulders."

"Hi!" Mabel pushed Candy aside. "If you were a boat, do you know what kind you'd be? A dream boat. That's what kind."

Candy elbowed Mabel. "You are tagged out!"

"I tagged back in!"

"You can't do that!"

"I can tag myself! It's allowed!"

"No, no!"

Marius nervously walked away as the two girls continued to argue.

"AHEM!" A familiar voice cut and both girls turned around to see Greta scowling at them. "What exactly was all that? You were flirting with Marius without me!"

Mabel and Candy exchanged nervous glances before Candy tried to explain. "We are sorry, Grenda, it's just..."

"Your flirting style can come off as a bit... intense..." Mabel tried to continue when Candy stopped.

Grenda blushed indignantly. "Oh, I see! You think I shouldn't be myself just because I'm in this stupid mansion! I thought you liked my style!"

"We do! But these boys might not!" Candy protested.

"Oh, then I guess they wouldn't like this, either! Hey, Marius!"

"Ja?" The baron asked, walking back over to the girls.

"You've got something... on your shirt!"

Marius looked down at his shirt, and Grenda smacked his nose. Marius shouted, Mabel and Candy gasped angrily. As all three girls walked away in different directions Marius glanced after Grenda, starry-eyed.

'Why couldn't I just stay behind?'

Princess Lilo stared idly out the window, deciding to remain near the food tables and not deal with anyone from the party. It's not like this was her kind of party anyways.

"Stupid Grenda and her stupid flirting." Lilo turned around, watching a girl in a pink fluffy looking dress march over to the table and started eating on the chocolate.

Was that a glue gun stuck to her dress?

"I ought to…" The girl took a deep breath. "Deep breath, Mabel, deep breath."

This girl seemed a little different from the other people at this party.

For one when she looked at Lilo she made a friendly smile. "Hi, I'm Mabel."

"Hi…I'm Lilo." Lilo said, a little surprised that the girl was greeting her so friendly and so casually.

"Lilo?" Mabel tilted her head a bit. "That's a pretty name."

"Thank you. Your name is pretty…too." Lilo said, slowly. It's not like she planned on actually speaking to anyone here and this girl wasn't using any of the social training or manners that the Princess of Moanna had been taught. "Where are you from?"

"Here." Mabel answered brightly.

"You're a Northwest?"

"Oh no!" Mabel laughed. "I'm Mable Pines and I live with my Grunkle Stan in the Mystery Shack."

The only part of anything she said that Lilo understood was that she was not a Northwest. "Pines? So you're…townsfolk?"

"Born and bred!" Mabel did a twirl. "I even made my own dress for the party tonight. You like it?"

"You really made it by yourself?" Lilo looked surprised. "It's…unique."

That explained the glue gun that was stuck to the bottom skirt but Lilo had to admit it was creative and the fact that the girl made it herself was impressive.

"Thanks!" Mabel smiled brightly. "So where are you from?"

"Moanna." Lilo said, deciding not to mention she was a princess.

"Moanna…" Mabel trailed off. "Am I supposed to know that?"

"The Kingdom of Moanna." Lilo offered.

"From the story?"

"Uh…" Lilo slowly nodded. "Yeah?"

"Cool!" Mabel giggled. "You got to tell me what it's like there. I want to know everything about Moanna and I want to know all your favorite spots there."

Lilo honestly wasn't expecting this but honestly she felt a little better just by seeing Mabel's smile and the excitement in her eyes.

'Maybe this won't be so bad after all.'

"Stupid Grenda. Stupid Mabel and stupid pretty boy from Austria." Candy stomped over to the fondue fountain.

"That was sad to watch." Candy turned around, seeing a red haired girl in a green dress staring at her. "Flirting with that boy."

"I did not flirt. I did not get the chance to flirt." Candy turned away. "Pushy Mabel and Flirty Grenda got in my way."

"And saved you the trouble by the looks of it." The girl shrugged. "You're not from around here are you?"

"I am from here. I am Candy and I am from Gravity Falls." Candy said, picking up a piece of cheese.

"I mean you're not like the other stiffs that my father dragged me here to meet." The girl replied, rolling her eyes.

"Oh, yes." Candy nodded in understanding. "I am Candy and I was invited here by Northwests who wanted my friend's brother to get rid of a ghost."

"…Right." The redhead said slowly. "So you're not the daughter of some big time company head, a princess or any of that fancy mumbo?"

"Nope. I am Candy." Candy said happily. "But I have been training to be defender of town by an old man who saved me from a Grimm."

"Really?" The girl raised an eyebrow. "What can you do?"

Candy looked at the table and held out one finger. The girl watched as she placed her finger on a plate of cheese and suddenly another plate, looking exactly the same appeared next to it. "What the cob?"

"This is my Semblance: Reprint. I am able to make copies of anything I touch." Candy said with a bright smile. "It only lasts three minutes but I make perfect copy."

"That's impressive." The girl got an intrigued look on her face now. "My name's Fanny and I think we're going to be good friends."

"How long is this tunnel?"

Dexter came here for science and knowledge, not for walking through underground tunnels for who knows how long.

"Patience, we are nearly there." Preston answered, leading the group. "It took my people an entire decade to make this tunnel and make sure it was properly stable."

"Impressive." Double D admitted, noting the lights lining the walls.

"Thank you." Preston nodded in gratitude and spotted a pair of large doors up ahead. "We should be there very soon and everything will be properly set up."

"Dipper, Dipper! Please let me get my vengeance on the Northwests! You hate them as much as I."

Dipper wasn't sure what else he could aside from preforming the proper exorcism on the Lumberjack Ghost to make sure it didn't hurt anyone. He had placed the mirror in the middle of a circle of candles and was about to read the incantation to banish the spirit.

"Hey, I feel you." Dipper admitted, still feeling outrage at having been duped by the Northwests into doing their dirty work. "It's just, my sister's in there, and you seem a little unstable, man."

"Very well, boy." The ghost said, seemingly admitting defeat. "Then... before you banish my soul, may these tired lumber eyes gaze upon the trees one final time?"

"Uh... I guess." Dipper held the mirror up to the forest. "Go nuts, man."

The ghost cackled madly and the mirror suddenly became red-hot.

"Aah!" Dipper dropped it as it burned his hand, and it shattered on the ground, releasing the ghost back to the mansion.

"Yes! VENGEANCE!" The ghost laughed triumphantly and sped back to the mansion.

"Oh no! Mabel!"

"I just need a clue where to find them and when I find it I'll save them."

Wallabee Beatles was back at home, in his room doing pushups as he worked on making a plan to rescue Nigel and Abby. The problem was he always left the planning to the two of them while he preferred to handle all the action.

So coming up with a plan was easier said than done.

His tablet started vibrating, signaling that someone was calling him but he let it go to voicemail. He had no time for a stupid call. The tablet vibrated again a moment later and he kept on ignoring it. It vibrated again and this time he was getting a little annoyed.

"What?! Can't a guy rescue his friends in peace around here?!" Wally stood up, grabbing his tablet and answered the call. "What the crud do you want?!"

"To offer a way to save your friends."

Wally stepped back as his tablet flashed, dropping it on the floor and watched as an image was projected from it. It was supposedly a guy but this guy was very weird and very…scary.

A guy with sickly pale skin and red glowing eyes.

Wally was not easily frightened but something about this dude, even if he was just an image made him want to tremble badly.

"That is what you want most in the world, correct? Well, the only question I have is how far will you go and are you strong enough to see it through."
