Opening File: Mjolnir
The legendary weapon wielded by Thor, the Asgardian God of Thunder that was forged in the heart of a dying star by the Dwarves of Nidavellir as a gift to Odin the Allfather for saving their realm over sixty five million years ago. It was forged from Uru, a form of Asgardian metel unique to Nidavellir that is capable of storing powerful magic. It was believed that the forging of Mjolnir caused a supernova that wiped out the dinosaurs and in a way it is true.
The supernova diverted the comet that created the Grimm to the Earth, killing the dinosaurs on impact.
According to legend Mjolnir was powerful enough to contain the power of a cosmic storm created by God Tempest. It was so powerful that Odin himself was unable to control it and its power nearly devastated Asgard. To prevent this Odin cast an enchantment to prevent anyone from wielding it, save those that Mjolnir found worthy. To anyone else, Mjolnir can't be lifted from the ground.
Those who are deemed worthy are able to wield Thor's powers and access to the hammer's countless mystical attributes and powers such as controlling the weather and levitation. Eventually Mjolnir would be given to Odin's son, Thor when he proved himself worthy.
Thor would use Mjolnir in countless battles across the Nine Realms against Trolls, Frost Giants, and even Gems when the Diamond Authority launched an attack on Asgard. According to Gem legends, Thor faced off against Yellow Diamond herself, wielding Mjolnir against the Diamond's newly forged weapon called Galaxy Storm. When Thor fell during the Grimm Invasion of Asgard, Odin casted a spell that imprinted his son's essence onto Mjolnir, allowing for Thor to be reborn but only if someone worthy of wielding Mjolnir was found. Sadly no one in Asgard was deemed worthy but Valhallen believed that perhaps someone worthy would one day be found in Midgard. With the blessing of Odin, Valhallen was allowed to take Mjolnir to Midgard and hopefully one day find someone worthy of gaining the power of Thor.

"Eventually we all face someone in our lives who will say 'You are not good enough'. It can be a friend, a teacher, an employer or anyone else." TOM said as the file closed. "But who are they to say we are not good enough to be whatever we wish. When someone says we are doing something wrong it is only because we haven't had the time get better at it. We rely on the people around us, the people who teach us and the people we work for to make sure we can do the best we possibly can. If they saw our work is something like 'bad', 'atrocious', or 'sloppy' they are not only failing in that regard but they show they are not capable of being the kind of people we wish they would be."
TOM then leaned back in his chair. "Remember, whether you are good enough in anything you wish to be it's not for others to decide. That choice can only be made by one person, you."

"Welcome to the Hall of Heroes."
"It looks…fancy."
Actually, the word Artemis was looking for was familiar as she looked at the Hall of Heroes and for a second thought she was looking at the Hall of Justice. Given what Living Bullet had told them about this place and the group that owned it, it was clear that the Justice Friends were likely to be this universe's counterparts of the Justice League. To her and Superboy that was a bit of a comfort, knowing there was a group like the League that could possibly help them. Bullet had been contacted by their leader, Major Glory to help retrieve two members that were apparently sent to far corners of the world.
Bullet decided to bring Artemis and Superboy to the Hall of Heroes before he set off to retrieve the others.
"Thank you." Bullet replied, noticing the way Artemis and Superboy were staring at the Hall but didn't mention it. "It's our official headquarters and we have our own rooms but all of us have our own homes when we are not at work."
Bullet lead them through the front doors and inside was a grand lobby with a giant grand water fountain and images of heroes and hunters lining the walls. They walked past the fountain, having a moment to take it all in as they walked through the hallways and entered what was likely the briefing. It was big and spacious with a large circular table.
And several possible heroes were already seated there, apparently waiting for them.
One wore a golden helmet that was made in the image of a bald eagle, wearing a suit that was mainly white but came with a red belt and the top had a blue color-scheme with white stars like the US flag, making it truly star-spangled. His cape was long and flowing with red and white stripes like the flag. Both Young Justice members believed they were looking at this universe's counterpart of Superman.
Next to him was a man wearing a Tiki mask and an orange sarong that covered his abdomen to his knees with a pair of orange wristbands. He didn't resemble anyone from their universe but it was possible that they just hadn't met anyone Hawaiian based heroes.
Another was a tall man of presumably African-descent with a completely bald head and a blue mask which concealed his eyes. He wore a red jumpsuit with white and blue streaks across his chest and a large yellow 'G' in the middle. He wore a golden necklace and a pair of blue and red sneakers.
The last was a tall and muscular man, who wore full body white tiger suit with gray stripes and yellow eyes.
"Welcome to the Hall of Heroes." The American themed hero spoke, standing up. "I'm Major Glory and this is Tiki Torch."
The man wearing the Tiki mask waved.
"Capital G."
The man with the large 'G' on his suit smiled. "Yo."
"And White Tiger."
The tiger themed hero remained silent but offered a small nod.
"My apologies that our full roster is not present to greet you." Major Glory said. "Valhallan and Krunk are…on a team vacation." He rolled his eyes beneath his mask. "While other members are unavailable for other reasons."
"Uh..that's…alright." Artemis answered, noting how Connor seemed to be analyzing the Major with narrow eyes, comparing the leader of the Justice Friends to a certain hero from their own world who had a similar theme and reputation. "Thank you for meeting with us."
"Ah, common courtesy and hospitality are a hallmark of American lifestyle that I refuse to part with." Major Glory chuckled. "But perhaps we should get to business: Bullet tells me that you are both in search of the Gem of Bond and that you have already spoken with Phil Ken Sebben."
"We'd also like to find the ones who sent us here." Connor said.
"Couldn't blame you." Capital G nodded. "Whoever snatched you two out of your world is crossing entire dimensions just to snatch people up at random. That's like treating a bomb as a kid's toy."
"My thoughts precisely." Tiki Torch agreed. "But perhaps there may be a way to accomplish both goals at once. Whoever brought you here will undoubtedly be looking to reclaim you, and we've been told that efforts have already been made to keep you from returning home by other paths."
"Scaramouche." Connor gave a low growl. "He wrecked the portal we were going to use."
"We think that whoever sent him wants us to look for the Gem." Artemis revealed. "It's supposed to be…particularly hard to find."
"To put it mildly." Major Glory replied. "Fortunately, we have an idea as to who is responsible for you being torn from your world." He pulled a remote from his belt and tapped it, causing a nearby wall panel to slide down and reveal a screen which blinked on, presenting the profile of one Van Kleiss.
"That's him." Connor confirmed. "I couldn't forget that mug. Believe me, I wish I could."
"His name is Van Kleiss, and he is very possibly a multi-dimensional traveler much like yourselves, albeit more by intent than misfortune." Glory explained. "He is one of many individuals who are believed to be in league with the enemies of Human, Faunus and Mobian-kind: the Fallen."
"We've heard about them." Artemis nodded. "People with…essence of the Grimm?"
"A simple way of stating it, but yes." Glory answered. "They are led by one who we believe to be the most powerful, perhaps even the very first of their kind to master his Grimm-derived instincts."
He tapped the remote again, replacing the profile with what looked like a portrait that would have been found in a high society art gallery back in their home universe, or any number of manors belonging to royalty, wealth or the occasional supervillain with an artistic taste. It depicted a figure cloaked entirely in black seated upon a throne decorated with the skull masks of the Grimm. His hair was blood red and reached down to his shoulders while his skin was pale with black and purple veins traveling down his face with a black diamond mark on his forehead and he had red eyes with black sclera, giving him a rather dark and villainous theme which was likely what the portrait was going for.
"That's him." Artemis narrowed her eyes. "He was there at the lab too. We barely escaped with our lives and we had him outnumbered six to one."
"He goes by the name: Sammael." Tiki Torch told them. "If Van Kleiss has brought you to our world, then it is by Sammael's will that it has been done. If what you say is true, then his plan is plain to see and yet may still contain hidden depths to it that we cannot conceive. This is one who has toppled empires and civilizations, nearly driven the people of this world to extinction on countless occasions…he does not make simple plans. If anything, he has contingencies for whether you choose to pursue the Gem of Bond or forsake it for alternative means of returning home."
"And plans for whether or not you know about him." Capital G added. "He's a bit of a pain that way."
"So he's some grandmaster supervillain with his eyes on us." Connor surmised. "Just our luck."
"He's not kidding." Artemis added, pointing a thumb at Connor. "It's pretty much been our life stories back home."
"It's always good to have experience." Major Glory pointed out.
"Always good to be a glass half-full sort of person too." Tiki Torch chuckled.
"That's pretty much how it is with heroes." Artemis said, smiling a bit as she felt a little more comfortable around these heroes. "So what does Sammael want with these Spiral Gems? To take over the world? Rule the universe?"
"Probably that. All we know for sure is that if he gets his hands on all twelve of them it's not going to end well for us." Capital G answered. "That's why we're a little jumpy about going after the Gem of Bond, even if it is to help you get home. No offence."
"None taken. We get it." Connor replied. "I fought that guy and I know what to expect from someone like him."
"So then what do we do?" Artemis asked.
"First off, Bullet must retrieve our two displaced members. Then we work on a way to properly get you home." Major Glory answered. "Even if Sammael has anticipated us making a plan to keep him from getting the Gem of Bond we can still find a way to beat him at his own game."

"This is so amazing."
Steven Universe could not believe he was touring the Hall of Heroes, the headquarters of the Justice Friends. They were guests right now, having been brought here to discuss the topic of the machines that had attacked.
The machines called Cybertronians.
Right now they were taking a chance to look around and came upon a museum of sorts, displaying historical vehicles, weapons and even very old looking robots that were obviously made over half a century ago.
"These Justice guys sure like to collect old stuff." Amethyst commented dryly. "You think they would let me have a few bones to take home?"
"Amethyst, you know we can't take anything, right?" Greg pointed out.
"Why? They're just sitting here. No one's using them." Amethyst gestured around the giant room. "Hey, Johnny? Want some extra bones?"
"Love some. I can give them to a few chicks with dogs in the park." Johnny said, walking up to the skeleton of a T-Rex. "Chicks get happy when you make their dogs happy."
"See? That's a good reason to take a few bones." Amethyst snickered.
"I don't think the Major or the others would appreciate that."
The group spun around, spying someone at the door as they entered. The person in question wore a black body suit with black armor that had gold outlines and red accents to it. His armor was also modeled after a lion's form in many aspects, including a large lion's head on his chest armor. He had red eyes and wore a facemask to hide his mouth, and what skin that was exposed is tan in color.
"We are not taking anything." Garnet replied.
"Aww!" Both Johnny and Amethyst groaned in disappointment.
"Yeah, these two are just a couple of jokers." Greg said, chuckling while rubbing the back of his head. "Are you a new member of the Justice Friends?"
"In a way." The armored figure shrugged. "My name is Lowemon."
"Low…Mon?" Johnny sounded out slowly. "Name doesn't ring a bell."
"Not surprised."
"Anyways, we might want to head back to our room. I believe Major Glory will want to pick up where we left off." Garnet continued, leading the group past Lowemon who simply stood and watched as they left.
Xxx
"Speaking of, Garnet what did you call those machines?" Steven asked as they returned to the waiting room.
"…Cybertronians." Garnet answered.
"And what are they?" Amethyst asked.
"…They are…Or were a race of machines that the Gems encountered long before we came to Earth." Garnet answered.
"A race of robots?" Steven gasped, looking awed and excited. "That is so cool! Did they change into things like tanks and copters like those two robots did?"
"They could." Garnet answered with a small smile. "And change into other things too."
"So, they can shape shift like we can?" Amethyst asked, sitting on the couch.
"Yes, so much that they were commonly called…Transformers." Garnet adjusted her visor. "We thought they were gone."
"Why?" Steven asked.
Garnet took a deep breath. "Long ago, before we came to Earth the Gems encountered these Transformers on their home planet of Cybertron. And much like what happened on Earth the Gems wanted to take Cybertron's resources."
Steven gasped. "What?!"
"Yes." Garnet said, sounding ashamed. "But…they fought back. They repelled Homeworld's invasion fleet, forcing us back."
"Wait…These guys kicked your butts?" Amethyst cut in.
Garnet nodded. "They proved to be more powerful than any machines the Gems had even encountered before."
"So what did you mean when you said you thought they were gone?" Steven asked.
"Last we heard of them their planet fell into civil war and was later declared dead. We thought the population died with the planet." Garnet answered.

The Gem ship that had been captured was now residing in the hangar of the Hall of Heroes. Once it was secured in the hangar the heroes left it there, believing nothing could get at it.
Too bad they had not taken a certain villain named Control Freak into consideration.
There was surge of electricity inside the ship, an obnoxious voice laughing from the ship's computer as the systems turned on.
"Excellent! I'm in! Now to download everything I need."
The plan was simple.
Access the ship's records; download everything about the Gem Homeworld, especially its military installations and defenses for Sammael and Gelorum to analyze to prepare for the attack on the Gem Empire's center of power. Then create an opening to allow the new Racing Drones called Vehicons to slip in and attack the Justice Friends from inside their own base.
This would no doubt propel him to maybe the top twenty villains in the world!
"Perfect! I got all the data!" Control Freak rubbed his hands. "Now to set up the portal."
Electrical energy flowed through the Roving Eye and was projected out of its forward scanners, hitting the floor and spread out in a circular pattern. It soon spread out, forming a giant circular hole in the center of the hangar.
"Portal activated." Control Freak opened a channel. "Hey, Gelorum! The way is all clear!"
From the portal emerged dozens of winged robots, followed by motorcycles that shot out and landed perfectly on the ground followed by giant tanks.
Xxx
"It is time."
Sammael stood before the dormant form of Malachite Plasmius and raised his hands. The energy seals around the giant Gem Fusion began to fade while a huge portal appeared underneath it. Just as Malachite Plasmius opened its eyes and saw Sammael…
It led out a roar as it fell into the portal, leaving Sammael who looked down in satisfaction, watching as the Fusion vanished into the portal.
Xxx
Gelorum watched in satisfaction as her Vehicon drone army entered the portal, appearing right inside the Hall of Heroes. "You have your orders. Wreak as much havoc on the Justice Friends as you can."
"With pleasure. Jetstorm, afterburn" Jetstorm gleefully said before shifting into his vehicle mode.
"Thrust, overdrive." Thrust was next, going to motorcycle mode.
"Tankor, pulverize!" Tankor shouted, changing into his tank form.
With that, the thee Vehicon generals charged into the portal, moving to lead their drones against the Justice Friends.
Gelorum smiled in satisfaction.

The meeting between the Justice Friends and the two members of Young Justice was cut off as the alarms rang.
"Trouble." Capital G stood up.
"Always something." Major Glory muttered as the wall screen flashed to life, showing the source of the alarm. "I know that monster!"
It was the Gem Fusion known as Malachite, appearing in the center of GrimmFall and letting out an enraged roar.
"We must move!" Major Glory stated but was stopped by another alarm along with an explosion. "By Washington's Wig!"
The screen then showed an army of…robots marching through the interior of the Hall of Heroes and destroying anything and everything in their way.
"Bullet! Lockdown procedures!" Major Glory called out.
Living Bullet was at the controls and the screen showed various sections of the Hall of Heroes being sealed off. "I have the place on lockdown."
"Good but that will not last for long." Major Glory replied. "We have a monster in the city and an army of machines appearing in our headquarters, having somehow slipped past all our security. This cannot be a coincidence but it doesn't matter now. We'll have to split up and deal with the threats in teams. Bullet, Capital G and Tiki Torch, you are with me. We must stop that Gem Fusion from attacking the city. Send out a city wide alert, advice police and all available Hunters to being evacuating citizens immediately."
"What about our guests?" Bullet asked, gesturing to Artemis and Superboy.
"Yes, I was about to address that." Major Glory replied, glancing at the two. "We need you both here if you are able to defend this place with White Tiger and two other friends we have here. We have several guests here and they will be in danger from the machines. If you could see to their safety and escort them to the panic room, we will return as swiftly as possible to assist in removing these intruders from these sacred halls."
"Escort some guests, smash some bots." Connor rolled his shoulders. "We can do that."
Artemis unfolded her bow and took count of her remaining arrows. "I may need a refill. I'm a little short on ammo after the fight with Scaramouche."
"Right this way." Capital G exposed a hidden compartment on a nearby wall which contained numerous dust infused weapons.
"You guys are crazy prepared." Artemis looked at several of the arrows.
"In this world it's considered okay to be paranoid." Capital G held up one hand with a finger and thumb held barely an inch apart. "Well, just a little. Not tin foil hat, government grab teams and mysterious black chopper levels."
After arming up, Artemis nocked a fire dust arrow. "The chopper thing is real. At least where we come from."
"And the tin foil hats?"
"Tried it." Connor moved for the door. "Can't block telepaths, can't block anything. Believe me, we tried."
Xxx
Artemis raced after Connor, followed by the silent White Tiger while the rest of the Justice Friends raced to confront the rampaging monstrosity. The robotic army rampaging throughout the Hall of Justice was first encountered when a tank shaped drone crashed through a wall up ahead and turned its sights on the trio. Connor let out a snarl as he launched himself through the air and slammed into the drone, sending it spinning back through the breach it had made before several jet drones swept through. Artemis let several arrows fly in quick succession and watched with satisfaction as the unique elemental effects of each one brought own her targets with no trouble, melting or freezing them in place or even electrocuting them to the point of frying them from the inside.
"Ooh, I like." She purred and drew back her next shot in time to catch a motorcycle drone in the midst of transforming.
White Tiger in the meantime moved throughout the nearby rooms silently, dispatching any of the drones he encountered swiftly, cutting through them with a set of claws built into the gloves of his suit which formed hard-light blades sharpened down to a monomolecular edge. It was after clearing one of the galleries that he was almost run over by Thrust.
"Here kitty, kitty." The Vehicon taunted as he transformed and spun about, firing off a salvo of energy blasts which White Tiger avoided, demonstrating his acrobatic abilities as he raced along the walls and clung to the ceiling before launching himself down at the general, slamming both feet into Thrust's chest plate and sending him wheeling back before he recovered.
"Good moves." Thrust said. "Mine are better."
He charged straight for White Tiger, who prepared to meet him with his signature Roar of the Tiger only for Thrust to suddenly push off of the ground…and somehow ride along the nearest wall, bypassing the attack and pushing off again, his wheel clipping White Tiger in the head and silencing his roar.
Thrust transformed back into his motorcycle form as several of his drones showed up, surrounding White Tiger as he recovered. "Finish him off. I have bigger fish to fry." He said and raced away as White Tiger stood up, balling his claw tipped hands into fists and emitting a low, subtle growl.
Xxx
"We can't get bogged down." Artemis said, vaulting over a railing to land on the lower level of another gallery devoted to the Justice Friends' many deeds and nemeses. "You go ahead. I'll clear a path to the panic room."
"Like it really matters what you do, baby cakes!" Jetstorm cackled as he flew past, spinning and unleashing missiles which Connor had to avoid. "Every path leads you to the same thing. A DEAD end. Whoa-AH hahahahahaha!"
"Puns." Connor landed atop Jetstorm. "I hate puns."
He clenched his fists together and slammed them down into the Vehicon, making him lose control and cash through a pillar, transforming in the process to fling Connor off. "Sweet moves, kid! But around here: I'm top ace!"
"Said almost every super villain ever." Connor replied, unimpressed.
"Oh, a critic. Here's my response!" Jetstorm aimed and fired his arm cannons at Connor who shrugged them off and leapt at the general.
Jetstorm spun out of way, continuing to shoot at the half Kryptonian as he landed on the ground. Connor spun around, covering his face while the Vehicon continued to pepper him with its pulse cannons. Connor leapt up to punch Jetstorm in the face but the airborne Vehicon ducked down, shifting back into his jet mode and shot up, slamming Connor into the ceiling. Jetstorm shifted back into robot mode and laughed as he watched Connor fall back to the ground.
Artemis quickly aimed and fired an ice arrow at Jetstorm who laughed as he dodged. "Aaaand I got one meat bag. Do I hear two meat bags? Two, two meat bags!"
Artemis fired again and Jetstorm simply dodged as it hit the ceiling behind him.
"I'm sorry, victims can't make a bid!" Jetstorm flipped through the air. "Going once, twice, sold to the handsome devil with the silver wings: me!"
Artemis smirked as Jetstorm laughed. "Check again."
The arrow on the ceiling exploded and Jetstorm looked up just in time to see the debris falling on him. Artemis ran over to help Connor up but stopped when she heard a growling sound behind and spun around, aiming a new arrow at the hulking form of Tankor as he approached.
"Tankor smash arrow girl!" Tankor shouted, aiming his shoulder cannon and fired.
Artemis jumped out of the way just in time, firing her arrow at Tankor and it exploded against him…And made him even angrier.
"TANKOR PULVERIZE!" Tankor shifted to his tank mode, firing and chasing after Artemis who was forced to run.
She led Tankor on a merry chase through the gallery but was forced to stop when she found herself against the wall.
"Tankor destroy! Tankor destroy! Tankor DESTROY!"
She turned around to see Tankor approaching her. "Uh…Tankor roll over and play dead?"
Tankor simply growled and aimed his cannon at her while she pulled out another arrow.
"SHADOW LANCE!"
Tankor turned his head around, spotting a wave of dark energy shooting at him and quickly fired his cannon, hitting the energy wave and causing an explosion. Artemis took the chance to slip away, watching as a dark figure was hidden by the smoke…
But not by Tankor's sensors.
The tank based robot let out a roar he shifted back into robot mode and fired at the figure who quickly deployed a shield to protect himself from Tankor's attacks. Tankor roared in frustration as he charged at the figure and punched its shield with enough force it released a burst of dark energy the knocked both opponents down. Artemis looked out, spotting the person who had stepped in and helped her. He wore dark armor, held a shield and a lance and had a lion's head on his chest armor.
Tankor growled as he got back up. "Tankor SMASH!"
Meanwhile Jetstorm had recovered from Artemis' sneak attack and hovered back up, spotting the archer hiding behind a custom made looking car that was obviously part of the exhibit. "Okay, you want to play dirty? Let's play dirty!"
"HURRICANE WAVE!"
Jetstorm spun around, watching a blast of wind fly at him and he swiftly flew over it. Just as he did something flew in and punched him in the face. Jetstorm grunted, shaking it off and fired his arm blasters at the person who hit him. The person was blasted out of the air and hit the ground.
It turned out to be a female with long purple hair and light tan skin with four green triangles on her face, two up near her forehead, and two on her cheeks, one per side. She wore a silver visor that covers her eyes, and wore a pinkish bikini-like outfit, with shoulder guards and boots that were over knee height. She also wore silver gloves that had a symbol on the backs of the hands, along with smaller butterfly-like wings on them. She also had large butterfly-like wings on her back, giving her the appearance of a fairy almost.
"Oh lookee here, Ma!" Jetstorm said as the girl got back up. "A pretty little butterfly! And I forgot my fly swatter. Oh well, this will do!"
He immediately fired his arm cannons but the girl quickly jumped out of the way and took off into the air.
"Oh, have I mentioned I love it when the ladies play hard to get? Jetstorm, afterburn!" Jetstorm changed to his jet mode and chased after the girl, firing his pulse blasters.
The winged girl hastily dodged the incoming bolts and fired another wind attack at the jet bot. Jetstorm angled to the side, avoiding the wind attack and flew past the girl as he changed back into robot mode, firing and hitting the girl's wings. She let out a pained scream as she hit the ground again.
"Oh, did that hurt?" Jetstorm asked, feigning concern. "Oh, don't worry about the pain, little butterfly. I won't feel a thing. Hahahahahah!"
"You sure about that?" Connor leapt up, delivering a kick that knocked Jetstorm back and landed next to the girl. "You okay?"
"Yeah." The girl shakenly stood up. "I'll be all right."
"Good." Connor looked up as more drones started to pour into the room. "Cause we're not done yet."
Xxx
"What's going on?!" Steven panicked as he hugged his dad.
Garnet summoned her gauntlets. "We have to move. They're here."
"Oh boy." Amethyst got up. "Let's move."
Garnet led the group out of the room, just in time to be attacked by three Cycle drones as they charged at the group in vehicle mode. "Move!"
Garnet stayed behind, fighting the drones to give the others time to escape. They ran through the hall, having no sense of where to go but only knew they had to keep moving. More drones crowded the place, blasting through the walls and causing random destruction seemingly for the sake of it.
"Seriously?!" Amethyst shouted as she lashed an Aero Drone out of the way with her whip. "Two weren't enough?!"
"Aw c'mon-" One of the drones, serving as a mouth piece for Jet Storm, was interrupted by Amethyst's whip taking off its head…before a second drone shifted into position and picked up where the first left off. "You can never have enough of a good thing!"
Three more drones crashed into the room and engaged the Gems. They fought bravely but were slowly being forced back by overwhelming numbers.
"I'd just like to have it noted for the record that I'm too pretty to die!" Johnny cried out, swinging his hammer around and crushing another drone against the floor.
In doing this, he unknowingly served as the straw that broke the camel's back. Over the course of the battle the integrity of many areas of the Hall of Justice was slowly compromised as drones demolished everything around them with reckless abandon, focused partly on doing as much damage as possible when not faced by anyone still trapped within.
And Johnny happened to hit a section of floor that began to crumble. "…uh oh. Johnny done bad."
"Oh boy." Amethyst swallowed while a Cycle drone and she looked down before exchanging panicked glances. "Johnny done very bad!"
The floor gave away, bringing the entire group and several of the drones down into the area below. As the dust settled they took stock of their new surroundings, finding that they had landed within what appeared at first glance to be another museum room…until one took notice of the multitude of warning symbols adorning the various stands.
These were items taken in by the Justice Friends over the years, some donated by members while others were confiscated from super villains. There were weapons that could still inflict severe damage, suits of armor that were from entirely different worlds, mystical objects containing forbidden knowledge and power…
"Well now this is quite a find!" A Jet drone, once again serving as Jetstorm's mouth piece without any of his body language, floated down and hovered in the midst of the room. "Would this be the rumored Omega Vault? With all the precious goodies that these goody-goodies like to stash away so nobody can have fun with them? Ooh I'm going to love going through this, but first thing's first…"
"Hold it right there, pal!" Johnny reached for the nearest stand. "Don't move a muscle or I'll…"
"Pour me a drink?" Jetstorm mocked, the drone indicating the large goblet which Johnny now held…and from which originated an eerie light source. "Or a human soul?"
"Uh…" Johnny tossed the goblet aside, ignoring the explosion it made upon impact with the nearest wall and tried his luck at the next item. "Okay-okay…here!"
He held up something which made every drone in the room back off right when they were on the verge of resuming their attack.
"…uh oh." Thrust spoke through a Cycle drone.
"Is that…?" Jetstorm's drone began to rise back towards the hole. "Oh no."
"Tankor PULVERIZE!" One of Tankor's drones charged towards Johnny, who swung around…and in a blast of lightning, reduced the drone to individual pieces.
"Whoa!" Amethyst gaped. "Johnny, what is that?!"
"I dunno." Johnny held up the hammer he had grabbed. "Says something here…he who would be worthy…need only say the name…and be gifted the power of…" He raised one brow. "Thor?"
A deafening explosion of sound filled the room as Johnny was engulfed in a blinding flash. A wave of pure force pulsed outwards from where he stood, sweeping aside the remaining drones as well as Johnny's friends.
Xxx
Sammael's eyes shot open, sensing a great power awaken in GrimmFall, the kind of power that had not been felt in a thousand years. "The God of Thunder…Has returned."
This would complicate matters greatly.
Xxx
Mandy looked over her shoulder, sensing a power unlike anything she had ever sensed before. "…Interesting."
Xxx
"YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!" Bill Cipher shouted, sensing the power of a very familiar annoyance. "I didn't know they would actually have that hammer and that lightning nut in this picture!"
Xxx
Gelorum narrowed her eyes as the drones sent her readings on a new power inside the Hall of Heroes, unlike anything she had seen before.
Aside from one.
"Asgardians." Gelorum clenched her fists. "To think such an operation that would guarantee success would lead to such a blunder."
Xxx
As Amethyst crawled out of a pile of rubble once more she set her eyes on Johnny and gaped. "Oh…my..."
"God." Greg finished.
"I was gonna say stars." Amethyst shrugged.
Suddenly, they were interrupted when the genuine Thrust leapt down through the hole in the ceiling and, after spinning around and unleashing blasts which forced them into cover, turned his sights on the cloud of dust surrounding where Johnny had been standing…just before a hammer flew out of the haze and struck him hard enough to fling him through the nearest wall.
The hammer flew about and returned to an outstretched hand. A figure emerged from the dust, clad in armor and furs, complete with a helm decorated with wings…
Which Johnny immediately tore off. "Man I can't see a thing in this!" He complained before looking down at himself. "…whoa mama. Did I get even more muscular? I didn't take steroids, did I? Because that stuff's a no-no."
"Johnny!" Greg got to his feet. "Do you realize what you're carrying?!"
"Uh…" Johnny stared blankly and used the hammer to scratch his head, generating sparks of electricity.
"That's Mjolnir!" Greg shouted.
"Mee-yol-gnarl?" Johnny struggled with the pronunciation.
"Mjolnir! The hammer of Thor! The fallen god of thunder!" Greg explained. "Johnny, it found you worthy!"
"Wow!" Steven had literal stars in his eyes.
"Oh…sweet!" Johnny beamed. "So…wait, does this mean I control thunder?"
"Yep."
"Make the weather what I want?"
"Spot on."
"….talk to frogs?"
"Uh…" Greg was unable to process an answer.
"Amethyst! I need a frog!" Johnny called immediately.
"On it!" Amethyst morphed into a frog.
"Try talking to me."
"Sup?"
"AH!" Johnny gave a high pitched cry. "I can talk to frogs! Oh mama…I really am a god!"
"Yeah…that's what all gods can do." Greg coughed awkwardly. "This might be what we need. You can take on all those drones now!"
"Oh baby, let's do it!" Johnny began to spin Mjolnir by the strap attached to the handle and then flung it up…and missed the already existing hole in the ceiling, creating a new one. "…I meant to do that!"

The drones all throughout the Hall of Justice were converging on the Omega Vault now. Thrust had managed to transmit a new order for a priority target: the new wielder of Mjolnir.
They amassed by the hundreds, abandoning their rampage to focus on Johnny as he emerged from the Vault.
"Hi-yooooo!" Johnny shouted, spinning the hammer overhead. "Suck lightning, jerks!"
And that they did. Johnny unleashed chains of lightning from Mjolnir which pierced through entire rows of the drone army, making dozens explode with each passing instant. Any who got too close were hit either by Mjolnir itself or by more discharges of lightning from Johnny's armor. By the end of what turned out to be a twenty second slaughter Johnny was actually laughing, feeling euphoric in the heat of battle even when one drone got a lucky hit in.
Where once it would have hurt, the drone pulled its fist back to reveal a face shaped dent in its knuckles, complete with the shape of Johnny's sun glasses.
"Heeeey look at that, huh? Pretty face." Johnny said before knocking its head off with one swing and looking about at the mounds of scrap metal around him. "Wow. That was…actually pretty easy. Does anybody have a heroic janitor around?"
Jetstorm, having abandoned his fight with Superboy, lifted a badly damaged Thrust out of the Vault. "This party just got a little too hot for us. C'mon boys!"
"Awwww, Tankor pulverize." Tankor sulked even as the three generals were swiftly evacuated.
"And don't come back!" Johnny struck a pose with lightning sparkling from Mjolnir.

Far across the universe, deep within a grand palace a single eye opened. "My son…Your return has finally come. And with it, the doom of Asgard as well."
