Opening File: Malachite Plasmius
The fusion of the Gems Jasper and Laper Lazuli and the half ghost Vlad Plasmius, this rare form of being is perhaps one of the greatest threats to walk the face of the Earth as well as one of the most dangerous enemies the Gems and other Huntsmen have ever faced. The being came into existence when the ghost known as Vlad Plasmius attempted to possess the Gem Fusion Malachite who had trapped itself at the bottom of the sea. This resulted in the creation of a Gem/Human/Ghost hybrid coming into existence and came to be considered a threat to the entire world.
It possesses all the standard Gem abilities along with the brute strength of Jasper, the hydrokinetic powers of Lapis Lazuli and the ghost powers of Plasmius that include the ability to control and manipulate ecto-energy to use as energy blasts, conjure shields and swords, flight and intangibility and even produce complete duplicates of itself. It first appeared at Beach City to attack the Crystal Gems and faced off against several notable Hunters such as the SWAT Kats, Hego, Motor Ed and Scotty Blake before disappearing back into the ocean. Due to the massive threat it represented any sightings of it is to be considered an Omega Level Alert, ordering all Hunters in the immediate area to immediately locate and neutralize and to call for aid from teams such as the Justice Friends.

Opening File: Omega Level
An Omega Level threat is the highest level of danger represented by the Grimm or other creatures that are capable of a level of devastation ranging from that of an entire major city to potentially world ending. The exact scale is typically defined by how far the alert is spread outwards from the site of the threat in question to indicate the radius of its potential effect. If an Omega Alert is called out, all nearby Hunters are to immediately proceed to the site where the threat is located, evacuate any civilians, assess the situation, call for immediate support from the military or organizations like the Justice Friends and above else find a way to neutralize the threat.
Examples of Omega Level threats include:
Malachite Plasmius
The Diamonds
Vilgax
Sartana of the Dead
Benedict Uno Sr.
Duke Nukem
Dr. Robotnik
Racing Drones/Vehicons
League of Super Criminals
Invisible Hand Members
Satyra raids
Legendary Grimm
The Injustice Friends
Majesty Class Fallen
Any of these threats are to be reported immediately and all available police and hunters are to intercept these threats as soon as possible.

Opening File: Darklands
The Darklands is a location far north of the mainland. It is a nesting ground for Grimm and extremely power kinds can be found there. Unlike the other regions, this one has barely been developed; there are no permanent buildings, and crude wooden fences defend any camps that have set up. Most of the Darklands' history prior to the Grimm infestation is unknown. The sparse settlements give most indication that humans did inhabit the area at one point but the infestation of the Grimm and the Pools of Darkness severely warped the land until it was completely unrecognizable.
The Darklands' topography is like setting foot in a time machine. The Forsaken Valley and Dinosaur Pass are reminiscent of a prehistoric era, with jungle plants and giant skeletons galore; not only this, but the Grimm there are based on dinosaurs. A small river runs through both, right up to the Dinosaur Pass. After this, there is the Fire Swamps, where strange, reptilian Grimm rampaging across the burning wrecks of observation posts can be found.
In addition to this, the ground is coated with lava, which comes from the flaming volcano-like Firepits, which contain a Pool of Darkness of their own. The next step is Huntor's Crest (no it's not a typo so for the love of Glob PLEASE STOP EDITING THAT WORD), which contains many creatures reminiscent of early man. Continuing from Huntor's Crest (seriously, final warning) next is Hero's Hollow, where flaming plants and the remains of a great battle are all too common sights. The monsters here represent early land-life.
Continuing on to the Precipice, the anyone lucky enough to reach this far will find a deep canyon, a small camp, and the last hope of salvation before Black Maw, a gigantic area with multiple Pools of Darkness and a resting place for Grimm. And finally the lair where the Fallen known as Sammael resides, protected by armies of Grimm.

Opening File: A. Kwest
A. Kwest was an adventurous explorer of the world. During one of his many explorations, he met and fell in love with a woman from the Darklands. They represented their love with a Flame Rose, a rare flower found only in the Firepits. He is currently buried in Eternal Meadows Cemetery.
His grave can be found near the outside south east end of The Boneyard. It has been pointed out by few who know of the grave that his name is an allusion of 'A Quest'.

Opening File: Forsaken Valley
Forsaken Valley is the edge of the Darklands. A lush jungle paradise, it is the safest area in the Darklands. The last Gunslinger, Roland Deschain lives in a small hut located in the valley. It was also home to the I.O.N.E.S.C.O. who found an ancient hidden base and planned to use to create an army of cyborgs to destroy the Grimm and the Fallen.

"In the world we live in there is a label for everything: good, evil, threat, peaceful, monster and heroes. We all know what they look like and we think we know everything we need to know about them. But does anyone ever truly know the people around them? We like to think we do." TOM remarked as all the files closed. "But how do we know that beings who look like monsters are actually monsters and how we do know that anyone who looks harmless actually is harmless? The truth is we don't know but we pretend we do. We pretend we know everything we need to know about places, people and what we perceive to be good and bad but one day that might not be enough. The key to being better is to always keep an open mind, no matter what you might think or what others might tell you."

The Darklands, better known to the rest of the world as No Man's Land and for good reason.
Unless you were extremely skilled you could not hope to survive in a land invested by Grimm, especially the kind of Grimm that were much stronger and numerous and the few that entered the Darklands and had actually survived had claimed to see Grimm that did not exist anywhere else in the world as they journeyed deeper into the Darklands, shifting from prehistoric design to extremely alien in appearance. If anyone could confirm the existence of these kinds of Grimm, it would likely be the two members of the Invisible Hand accompanying their leader through the area of the Darklands labelled the Forsaken Valley.
As they strolled through the land, they eventually came upon a cemetery, passing a notable grave that said:
Here Lies A. Kwest
"These Grimm make Boris nervous."
"For once my large friend, we are in agreement. These kinds of Grimm are truly the manifestation of fear."
Their leader chuckled as they continued their trek through the forest. "I am sure if they were capable they would be expressing their gratitude for your words."
The Grimm in questions resembled dinosaurs and if not for the Fallen with them they would have attempted to attack and brutally kill the humans walking through their territory.
There were the Fried Killer Grimm, resembling the Dilophosaurus with the frill expanded and teeth sharp enough to bite anyone and anything in half. They can even spew a paralyzing poison, effectively immobilizing any intruders before they are eaten alive.
The Triceraclops which resembled a Triceratops, covered in white bone armor and horns shapers than any spear with enough strength to flatten an entire forest.
The four legged Fossil Crawlers with the remains of their eggs attached to their rear ends, believed to have actually been spawned from extinct dinosaur eggs
And patrolling above in the air were the dreaded kind of flying Grimm known as the Terrordactyl, armed with sharp claws and teeth along with a scream powerful enough to blast away anything in their way.
These Grimm were much stronger than the average kind of Grimm encountered by Hunters on a daily basis such as the Beowulfs, the Ursas and the Nevermores. They ensured that no army entered the Darklands and lived to tell about it, protecting their master's territory from invasion or infiltration. In the thousands of years the Darklands have stood any attempt to invade or colonize them was brutally stopped by the Grimm that nested in this unholy land.
And what made it worse is that they were not even the most powerful of the Grimm to exist in the Darklands.
They were merely the outer guard.
Of course the Grimm were the only ones out in force in this section of the valley.
Copter Drones and Aero Drones patrolled the sky alongside the airborne Grimm while on the ground Tank Drones and Artillery Drones guarded the campsite that was set by the Racing Drones. This place was actually once the base of I.O.N.E.S.C.O. before his transformation into the Devil Gundam. The base was mostly destroyed but the Racing Drones were rebuilding under the supervision of Gelorum and Sammael. The atmosphere was tense with the Grimm remaining outside, growling at the Vehicon drones who did not react on account of them having no emotions and no individual minds.
The drones were programmed to identify the Grimm as allies and the Grimm had been ordered to not attack the drones or the base.
The front gates opened, allowing Sammael and his human allies to enter and took the time to look around, seeing the changes that were being made. The base was primarily underground but the fortress had been rebuilt but by the drones with Cycle Drones making up the bulk of the inner guard. The trio proceeded through the numerous halls until they reached what appeared to be a throne room, modeled exactly after Gelorum's throne room in her domain.
The leader of the Racing Drones herself was already there, sitting on the throne with a stoic face. "Sammael, you have arrived."
"I have and it seems construction of the new base is proceeding on schedule." Sammael noted. "I presume it will be ready to carry out the operation."
"It will but we have another issue." Gelorum scowled. "The fact that a human was able to gain the power of one of the greatest warriors in the known universe, the Asgardian God of Thunder."
"Yes, second only to the All-Father himself…if one forgets their history." Sammael nodded in agreement as Gelorum stood up from her throne and slowly walked towards him. "Unfortunately for them it also means something else. It means the cycle of Ragnarok will begin again, restored alongside Thor himself."
"Ragnarok might not come fast enough." Gelorum scowled. "It is bad enough with the Gems but now the Asgardians. And if Ragnarok is back on schedule then you know who will come crawling out of hiding."
"For now, Thor's new incarnation is still new and unexperienced. It will take a great amount of time before he can become a threat and we still have other plans in the works. Any others associated with that prophecy are irrelevant to our plans." Sammael pointed out. "For now the Justice Friends are focused on other threats, exactly what we want. What is the status on the machine?"
"I.O.N.E.S.C.O. himself is supervising the progress and the boy calling himself Control Freak has sent all the data we need on the Gem Homeworld's defenses." Gelorum answered, a small smile now appearing on her face. "I had my doubts but the child surprised me. He supplied everything we will need."
"I would not asked him if I thought he wasn't capable. Now we can begin gathering the team." Sammael grinned.

'Nigel, there is something we must speak about.'
Nigel was back in the icy castle he had dreamed of when he first met Elsa and sure enough the Snow Queen herself was there, waiting for him. 'Elsa. You can speak to me even though those Gems are suppressing my powers?'
Elsa beamed. 'It'll take more than that to stop us from communicating. Remember Nigel, you are the newest incarnation of the Ice Elementals going back millennia to when it all began.'
'You told me that once…' Nigel then thought of something. 'Elsa, can you explain to me how this all works?'
'Works?' Elsa seemed confused.
'Well, I am the reincarnation of you and the other Ice Elementals but I can talk with you, connect with you and even see your memories. How can I speak to you if you are me…In a way?' Nigel tried to properly explain himself.
'It is a bit of a long and complicated process, Nigel. Even I didn't understand it for most of my life.' Elsa took a deep breath. 'But I will try and explain. Please, have a seat.'
She waved her hand, conjuring a chair of ice for Nigel to sit down on which he did. Once he was seated Elsa collected herself and started explaining. 'As you know, Elementals have the ability to reincarnate exactly one hundred years after they die. The reasons why it takes one hundred years is because Elementals carry everything with them into their new hosts, their memories, their powers and everything else that makes them or made them who they were in life. In my life I was queen of an entire kingdom but I was fearful of my powers until my sister and my friends showed me I didn't have to be afraid of them and I could use them for good.'
Nigel smiled a bit, happy for Elsa getting the help she needed.
'Now, onto what happens when an Elemental reincarnates. Now as you know the Ice Elemental reincarnates every winter season, seeking out a new host that happens to be born around that time. An Elemental's power is too great to simply bond with a soul that has already been born. The integration process would cause too much of a strain and the host would lose control of the power to the point they would endanger themselves and the people around them.
That is why newborns are chosen, souls that have not been fully formed and are somewhat of a blank slate that makes it easier for the power to integrate with. Once properly bonded the powers would go dormant for the early years of the new incarnations life but as time goes on the dormant powers will slowly awaken and with them would come the knowledge of the previous Elementals, such as what you experienced on the day you awakened your powers through your Semblance in the park to save Abigail from a Grimm.' Elsa continued.
'And I met you when I was unconscious.' Nigel remembered.
Elsa nodded. 'Yes. At that stage, the new host begins to learn about their Elemental status and the previous incarnations. At the same time we manifests ourselves to our new host, taking the form of previous lives and we begin learning about each other, our names, desires, what we like and dislike and mannerisms. Soon enough host and past selves learn everything about each other that eventually visions and communication through dreams becomes no longer necessary.'
'That's kind of…cool in a way.' Nigel chuckled awkwardly. 'No pun intended.'
'After that, we move onto the third and final stage of the reincarnation: the true awakening. Eventually the host learns everything about their past lives and as time goes on they learn how to better control and use their powers. The memories of the previous incarnations become yours, allowing you to easily recall anything important from a past life and you might even pick up a few traits from your past selves. For one example,' Elsa smiled blissfully. 'My sister and I have an insatiable love for chocolate, so much that we hid stashes of chocolate all over the castle and I even kept some on me even when I was attending important meetings and events.'
'Alright…another question that's been bothering me is…why me?' Nigel asked. 'Why out of everyone in the world was I chosen?'
Elsa's smile shrank a bit. 'Tell me, Nigel…do you believe that the future is set in stone? That everything we do is predetermined?'
'Well…not really, I mean if it was then there'd be no free will.' Nigel answered.
'Exactly.' Elsa nodded. 'When the power seeks out a new host as its time comes, it looks into infinite possible futures. All of the good. All of the bad. And everything in-between without any way to really guarantee that it will get the result that it wants. Do you remember Urgence Evergreen?'
'The egotistical moron who made that wish granting crown that later helped create the Fallen?' Nigel scowled darkly at the reference. 'Don't remind me that technically he and I are connected.'
'Let's just say…the power is determined not to pick a host like that again.' Elsa continued. 'After that disaster, all four began to establish a pattern that they sought in their respective hosts. For ice, they seek people whose ambitions are tempered with responsibility to use their power for the good of others, rather than their own good. With fire the host tends to be one of immense courage, one who will go to any length to accomplish the right thing no matter who or what tries to stop them. The candy elementals have always been free spirits, thinkers and tinkerers who like to build and explore, intellectuals who don't close their minds off from new possibilities. And the slime elementals…they've always been outcasts, sometimes they've been taken from the lowest rung of society, other times they've simply been misunderstood and lonely because others would cast them out for not fitting an ideal. In that loneliness, they find it easiest to reach out to others and form new bonds, to bring others together when all seems at its darkest.'
As she spoke, images of previous elementals appeared around them.
Elsa standing atop her castle amidst a winter wonderland as she froze water to allow her subjects to skate on it.
A woman clad in armor lashing out with spheres and whips of fire that sailed over a horde of mounted men to strike a mountain looming over what looked like a battlefield, bringing down an avalanche upon the charging army.
A bald man formed candy weapons to strike down entire ranks of stone golems and other monsters sent against him by a red haired witch, fighting off every foe with a smile.
A large, bearded man in red wielding twin blades and laughing jovially after carving what looked like a sailing ship from ice…a ship which began to move on its own, carrying its maker away.
A misshapen man with a large heart who tore his way free of chains and leapt down into an inferno while crowds clashed around them.
'The powers choose their hosts wisely, Nigel.' Elsa dismissed the images. 'The ice power chose you because it knew that you would be best suited to carry it, to carry on a legacy thousands of years in the making.'
'So when I gain all your memories…will you disappear?' Nigel asked hesitantly.
Elsa shook her head. 'We'll always be with you, Nigel. Only because our connection grows so strong our minds can become similar enough that eventually past selves and host becomes one in a way. We become you and you become us. It's hard to say where one person begins and another ends…but you won't just wake up one day and find me gone. Slowly, over time, you and I will simply…become.'
'Become what?'
Elsa smiled. 'The guardian that this world needs. The guardian that Evergreen failed to be. The guardian that many before you have had to be…and that you will need to be in the coming days. Just know that you will never be alone in this fight, that you will always have us and your fellow elementals at your side…and many others who will flock to your aid.'

"Attention citizens of GrimmFall! We have an Omega Level Emergency! Please proceed to the nearest shelters immediately!"
"RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWW!"
Malachite Plasmius was awake and she was angry!
"THEY LOCKED US UP AND THEN DUMPED US! HOW DARE THEY?!" The Fusion raged. "WE'LL GET THEM FOR THIS! THE GEMS, ROSE AND EVERYONE ELSE WHO STANDS IN OUR-"
SLAM!
In the midst of its rant a golden blur shot forth, slamming into its face, knocking it back. "What in the-"
SLAM!
Malachite suffered a blow to the torso, knocking all the wind out of it.
SLAM!
Followed by a blow to the head.
SLAM!
Another hit in the face.
SLAM!
SLAM!
SLAM!
SLAM!
Malachite suffered hits all over its body as it let out a frustrated and pained roar. "Enough of this-"
Its rant was cut off as it felt something enlarge inside its ears, causing a great amount of pain as it screamed.
"Major, we got it distracted!" Capital G said inside Malachite's head, having enlarged himself enough to cause an intense headache.
"Roger that." With that Major Glory shot through the air towards the thrashing Malachite, rearing his fist back and…
POW!
He slammed his into Malachite with enough strength to send the Gem Fusion flying up into the air and out of GrimmFall. Malachite roared as Capital G shrunk and jumped out of its head, deploying its water wings to halt itself and staring down at the Justice Friends with an infuriated face.
"Wretched insignificant- "Malachite was cut off again as a missile hit her in the back and exploded. "GGGGGGGGGGGGGGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
The TurboKat streaked through the air, shooting past the Fusion.
"It's the same monster from Beach City." Razor said from the rear seat. "I was hoping we wouldn't run into it again."
"Yeah, but the good news is that we got more help this time." T-Bone replied, preforming evasive maneuvers as Malachite started firing beams of ecto-energy from its eyes.
"RAH!" Malachite fired more ecto-beams at the TurboKat, becoming increasingly frustrated at failing to hit it.
"Halt beast!"
Malachite looked down, spotting Major Glory shoot up towards it. The Gem Fusion grinned, summoning Jasper's Crash Helmet before preforming a Spin Dash, charging its power up and shooting down straight at the major.
Both flying opponents collided with each other, producing a shockwave that blasted away any nearby clouds and literally seemed to shake the sky itself.
Xxx
"Will you hurry up?!"
"I am moving as fast as I can! I might move a bit faster if you let me use my fingers."
"And give you the chance to slip away again? No thank you."
Connie had to suppress a sigh and the urge to shout in frustration. Ever since Peridot had explained what the Cluster was to Pearl it had been none stop arguing. Pearl had immediately stated they were going to find the other Crystals Gems who were in the city known as GrimmFall and when Peridot protested to be ordered around Pearl had immediately pointed her spear at Peridot's gemstone, asking darkly if she had any other objections.
The green Gem had wisely shut up but it had not stopped them from argument after argument.
BOOM!
Just as the three came into a clearing there was massive sonic boom followed by a brief earthquake.
"What now?!" Peridot shouted, covering her ears as she fell to her knees. "If it's not one thing it's another on this awful planet!"
Pearl looked up and her eyes widened when she spotted something very familiar. "Malachite…"
Up in the sky, Malachite Plasmius was thrown back from the center of the blast in one direction while Major Glory flew in the other.
"What is that?" Connie asked.
"It's a Gem Fusion of Jasper and Lapis." Pearl immediately answered.
"Jasper and Lapis fused?!" Peridot exclaimed, standing back up. "Like I said, if it's not one thing it's an-"
"Oh shut up!" Pearl snapped, summoning her spear. "I need to find Steven and the others, now!"
Xxx
"That was a big boom." Razor said, the TurboKat having to speed away to maintain a safe distance. "If that had been over the city, it would have caused extreme damage."
"And looks like that thing has plenty more where that came from." T-Bone noted, watching as Malachite Plasmius seemed to recover. "We need to find a weakness and fast, Razor."
"I've been working on that." Razor looked at his screen, bring up detailed scans of Malachite. "It's primarily composed of energy being emitted from two locations. The gem stone on its nose and the one on its back."
"So we hit them, we take down the monster." T-Bone caught on.
"Aim at one of the gem stones and we can stop it." Razor said, bring up the custom missiles. "The scrambler missile. It should be enough. Just aim at one of the gem stones."
"Gotch." T-Bone replied.
In the meantime Malachite flew after Major Glory, blasting at him with ecto beams just before a pillar of fire suddenly shot up, slamming into the fusion which let out a scream of pain and anger. The fire had come from none other than Tiki Torch who had used Fire Dust to enhance his Semblance to the point he could create a blast of fire large enough to engulf Malachite.
"Now's our chance!" T-Bone shouted, angling the TurboKat behind Malachite and locking onto the gem stone that was producing the water wings. "Locking onto target…And…Fire!"
The TurboKat launched the missile at Malachite just as the fire attack ended and the missile slammed directly into the gemstone. The tip of the missile released claw like barbs that latched onto the gemstone before releasing over a million megavolts. Malachite let out a roar as the electricity coursed through its body, causing yellow lines to form…
Xxx
'AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!'
Deep inside the landscape of Malachite Plasmius, Lapis Lazuli screamed in agony, feeling the electricity much worse than either Jasper or Vlad.
'Wow, look at that!'
Suddenly everything seemed to freeze and the three parts of the fusion watched as Bill Cipher appeared before them.
'I mean, good Old Sammy finally lets you go and now you're…getting a zap!' Cipher laughed.
"Help us now!" Jasper shouted. "You promised to free us!"
'Sheesh, take a dip in the water and chill out, Stripey. I'm in fact here to carry my end of the deal.' Bill rolled his eye. 'So, you guys ready?'
"NO!" Lapis shouted, trying to summon her powers but could do nothing.
'Sorry, Tear Drop but since you decided you don't want to help you can't do much of anything. Actually…' Bill snickered. 'Since I made a deal with two thirds of the Fusion I think I can decide a few changes for you Now then...'
On Vlad and Jasper's hands appeared blue flames, the very flames that appear when Cipher makes his deals. The flames travel through the chains, engulfing all three parts of Malachite Plasmius and they scream in pain as a result. Lapis screamed as she felt a deep pain in her back followed by the sound of something beating in her chest while a blue light appeared on Vlad's back while black rings appeared around Jasper before splitting with one traveling down to her feet and the other up to her head. Vlad shifted to his human form before turning into blue light that was forced into a gemstone resembling Lapis' stone.
Jasper's skin turned a shade of blue; her teeth gaining pointed fangs, her hair turned black while her body suit became white, consisting of white trousers and a white long-sleeved shirt covered in black gloves. Her shirt is connected via a black belt and stems up to her neck. There was a black collar on her shirt and she wore black boots. Finally, she accessorized with a high collar cape connected around her neck that had a white exterior and a red interior lining.
In the meantime Lapis' blue skin turned pale peach while her gemstone vanished.
Bill Cipher laughed through the entire change. 'Wow. This is one heck of a make-over! You guys should look yourselves in the mirror…Eh, I am sure you will.'
Xxx
Malachite Plasmius made one final scream before disintegrating into a mass of light and exploded, signaling its defeat.
"Whoa! That was a bit more than I meant." Razor covered his eyes from the flash of the explosion.
"Yeah, that missile must have had too much juice." T-Bone remarked, detecting something. "Hang on, I got something."
Out of the cloud created by the explosion came three objects…two bodies and the other a gemstone of some kind.
"By Washington's Wig!" Major Glory shot down, grabbing the bodies before they hit the ground and even grabbed the tear shaped stone. "This day just keeps getting stranger and stranger."
"We better hurry back to HQ. Hopefully things aren't too bad." Living Bullet said, flying alongside the major.
Xxx
"In all honesty, I pictured a lot worse."
The Hall of Heroes had been, for the lack of a better word, trashed. Pieces of drones littered the halls and rooms.
Luckily no one was injured but that wasn't the issue.
The issue would be one of the guests holding the hammer of Thor in his hands.
"Valhallen is never going to believe this." Major Glory muttered.
"LAPIS!" The boy named Steven ran up to the young slim woman in the major's arms. "And Jasper! And...why does Lapis look human?"
The Gem formerly known as Lapis Lazuli now looked like a human version of herself, her hair black, slightly pale skin while her dress remained the same despite all the changes.
"You know this person?" Major Glory said, gesturing to the unconscious former Gem.
"Yeah…" Steven nodded. "Only she's not supposed to be human."
