Opening File: The Blue Fairy
A member of the rarely seen Fae race, commonly known as the Children of Oberon the Blue Fairy is known for taking two forms with the first being a shooting star. Whenever someone sees the star and makes a wish the star takes the form of a woman of ethereal beauty who wears a glittery dress with white wings. She grants wishes to people who give happiness to others and likes to teach children the differences between right and wrong. As a Fae, her power is limited only by her imagination and thus is capable of preforming feats bordering on god-like.
Such abilities include:
· Levitation spells to achieve flying under his own power
· Shape-shifting and transfiguration
· Conjuration
· Advanced telekinesis
· long-distance Teleportation magic
· Superhuman strength
· Exceptional spell-casting
· Hypnosis and empathic persuasion
· Mystical energy blasts
· Power/Ability-stripping
· Reality-warping
· Animate ordinary objects via life-based magic
· Enchanting
· Casting realistic illusion via Illusion magic
· Moving at lightning-speed (maybe only over short distances)
· Energy absorption (lightning to grow to immense strengths and size)
· Accelerated regenerative, healing factor
· Stare of Slumber/Sleep
· Conjuring objects from thin air
· Control over the elemental forces of Avalon itself
· Creating and controlling unusually strong gusts of air and wind
· Sensing Titania (and maybe other fairies)
· Intangibility: passing through solid objects (walls, fools, ceilings, wood, stone, metal)
· Turn someone into glass by touch
· Freezing
· Re-changing others
· Melting objects via fire magic
· Reflecting energy shield
· High resistance to physically injury
· Reflecting energy blasts by hand
Despite these great powers, Fae folk are vulnerable to iron and special items that can absorb energy.

"When you were little did you ever see a shooting star and make a wish? Were you disappointed when it didn't come true or did it come true in some way? Maybe you were just very lucky to actually a wish that came true"

'And so, we arrived here. Stranded and with no hope of getting back home, even though we still try even to this day. Nyx has been experimenting with something she is called the Pillownomicon. Weird name, I know but she believes it will be able to create life in this empty dimension. All she needs is to summon someone called the Blue Fairy.
Apparently fairies are real now.
Nyx explained to me that scientifically they can be seen as beings made of pure energy, taking the forms of legendary fairies, elves and even gods. She says that magical humans like her call them the Fae or the Children of Oberon and that they are capable of almost anything. She believes that the Fae called the Blue Fairy will be able to create life in this empty world.
I really hope she is right.'
How long had it been?
It almost felt like yesterday they had arrived here.
So much had passed since then.
So much had happened.
"Daddy!" A young girl's voice called out. "You promised to play ball with me!"
He smiled, looking up from his notebook and spotting a young girl, about three years old standing at the doorway.
Sky Entrapta Gilligan.
She was already three years old now with short purple colored hair and magenta eyes. The girl was so cheerful, full of excitement that it was almost impossible to hold her down. Nyx said that she was like this as a little girl as well.
"What are you working on, Daddy?" Sky walked up to her father, peering at the notes on his desk.
"I have been writing about mine and your mother's lives up to when we got here in this…Pillow World." Hoagie answered, watching as Sky leaned in and seemingly started reading.
As much as he didn't want to brag, he had the inkling that Sky had both his and her mother's brains. She was a bright girl and if the Pillow World had any form of technology she would probably be neck deep in any junk she had found.
"Where's your mom?" Hoagie asked.
"Out back."
Hoagie had a good idea what she was doing.
Nyx was indeed out back, her magical book known as the Pillownomicon hovering in front of her. She was seemingly studying but was actually lost in thought.
The years had gone by and though she should be working on a way to escape she can't help but marvel at how happy she has been.
A boy who became a man that loved her with all his heart.
A daughter who she would die for.
It was almost like a dream.
And knowing Klarion it likely was.
And what she was about to do would perhaps cause her even more magical trouble but honestly she felt things could not be worse.
"Blue Fairy, I call on you. Come forth and grant me a wish." Nyx whispered, placing her hand on a page with a shooting star drawn on it.
The star glowed and expanded out of the book, taking the form of a beautiful woman with blond hair, fair skin and wore a glittering dress with white wings. The woman hovered slightly off the ground, showing her glass shoes that were covered by her dress when lowered down to the ground.
"You know of the mystic arts that could summon me." The woman said, holding up a wand with a star at the end. "Do you know who I am?"
"You are the Blue Fairy." Nyx answered calmly.
"I am. I grant wishes to those who only have good and purity in their hearts." The woman said kindly but held a frown on her face. "I sense dark magic within you."
"I am Nyx, apprentice of Klarion, a Lord of Chaos. An unwilling apprentice, mind you." Nyx stated, scowling at the mention of Klarion.
"And you have summoned me to this place. Why?" The Blue Fairy asked.
Nyx held up the Pillownomicon. "I need your help to enchant this book so it can give life to the pillows of this world."
"And why should I?" The Blue Fairy asked.
"You wish to fulfill wishes to those who bring joy to others, right?" Nyx gestured inside the house. "Inside that house are two of the only people in my entire life I honestly care for. This world is empty with just the three of us and eventually we'll leave our daughter alone. I do not want my daughter to spend her entire life here alone and if I cannot find a way back I can at least find a way to ensure she is never alone."
The Blue Fairy considered Nyx's words, remaining silent for a few minutes. "You do this for your daughter?"
Nyx nodded. "I do."
The Blue Fairy raised her wand. "Kneel, Nyx Kane."
Nyx knelt down as the fairy tapped her wand on her shoulder. The wand released a burst of light that traveled down Nyx and entered her book.
"I dub you Creator of the Pillownomicon, Lady High Keeper of the Knowledge of the Gift of Life, Mother of the Sky, Counselor in Moments of High Temptation, and Guide Along the Straight and Narrow Path. Arise, Lady Nyx Kane."
Nyx stood up, looking at herself and feeling different somehow. "It has worked."
"The Pillownomicon now has the power to grant life to this world. Use it and it will bring motion to the motionless but giving them true life will be up to you and your family." The Blue Fairy explained.
"What do you mean?" Nyx asked.
"You must prove yourself able to teach the children of this world to be brave, truthful and unselfish and someday the people of this world will be made truly real." The Blue Fairy explained.
Nyx stared down at the book. "I will be able to truly make life now."
"Use it wisely, Nyx Kane." The Blue Fairy said and vanished in a flash of light.
Nyx held up her book. "It's truly here now. At least now I'll be able to do some good before I go. It'll feel great to rub one last good deed in Klarion's face."

"Oh no she didn't!"
Klarion's eyes flared red and let out an angered roar, breathing fire as he did. Meanwhile Bill Cipher simply laughed at the infuriated look on his face.
"Man, that apprentice of yours really likes making you mad." Cipher snickered. "You treat her like a puppet, she saves a fat boy. You lock her up in an alternate dimension and she gets a kid and brings life with the promise to make them all nice and decent. Man, you really know how to pick them."
"She just wants make me so mad by being all…goody-goody. Blegh!" Klarion's face soured as if he swallowed a lemon. "I can't even be proud of her trying to spite me!"
"So what are you going to do?" Bill summoned a glass of lemonade, taking a sip of it.
"I need to get her away from that fat boy and the little brat they made." Klarion grunted. "With them gone I might able to get her to shape up."
"Well, I might have an idea." Bill idly brought a hand under his eye, mimicking the rubbing of a chin. "Love brought them together, right?"
"Don't remind me." Klarion spat.
"Well, maybe love can tear them apart."
Klarion stared at Bill before grinning. "Oh, I like the sound of that."
"Shall we?"
"We shall."

The Pillow World had become a thriving one with an entirely new civilization thanks to the Pillownomicon which Nyx had decided to hide far away when she decided she no longer needed. Their daughter Sky was around the same age her parents had been when they first arrived in the Pillow World.
By this point Hoagie had accepted they were never going back.
It was impossible.
'Or is it?'
Hoagie's eyes widened at the sound of the familiar and hated voice. "You…"
Before him, in a blast of blue fire appeared the very demon who was responsible for him being here. 'Hey there, Sky King! Man, you really trimmed down these last few years. Must have been the lack of chili cheese dogs around here.'
"Get out of here!" Hoagie shouted, looking around and seeing Nyx and Sky were still sleeping. "This is all another dream. You are in my head again. Get out!"
'Whoa, whoa! Such hostility.' Bill shook his 'head'. 'Where's this all coming from?'
"You mean besides tricking me with your fake contest? Standing my soul in a void? Or leaving me and Nyx here?!" Hoagie's voice rose until he was shouting again.
'And look what you got out of it.' Bill hovered above Nyx and Sky, both of them sharing the single large bed in the cabin they lived in with Hoagie. 'Pretty cute huh?'
"Get away from them!"
'Relax, Sky King.' Bill floated away from the girls. 'Don't get so touchy. I am not here to make trouble. Just to see how you are doing. The years have been good on you, so good I might be persuaded to get you out of here.'
"No way! I'd rather stay and rot here the rest of my life than make a deal with you again." Hoagie refused vehemently.
'Well, what about your daughter?' Bill asked, pointing at Sky.
"What?"
'I mean, sure you're not alone here anymore but living here with a bunch of walking pillows. Not exactly the kind of friends every parent wants for their kids, right?' Bill asked rhetorically. 'You might be fine with being stuck here but her?'
"Oh, so you'll dump her in some other empty dimension like you did with me and Nyx?" Hoagie retorted. "You fooled me before Bill but I am not THAT stupid."
'First off, Sky King Klarion did the dumping you here, not me.' Bill corrected. 'And second, who says I have to dump her somewhere other than the very place you came from? I can send you and your girl back to Earth as if NOTHING ever happened.'
"And what's the catch?" Hoagie asked.
'Glad you asked. Your girl and you can go but your girlfriend stays.' Bill pointed at Nyx.
"What?!"
'Sorry, kid. It's out of my hands.' Bill shrugged. 'Klary's laid claim to her. Ain't nothing I can do about that.'
"Then there's nothing you are good for." Hoagie scoffed. "No way would I leave Nyx here alone."
'Maybe she doesn't have to be alone.' Bill narrowed his eye, mimicking a grin. 'You want to stay with Nyx but can you say the same for your little Sky-Princess?'
Hoagie stiffened. "No. I would never trust her fate to you."
'So, no chance of meeting her family?' Bill asked. 'I mean, it's not like I have make a big deal or anything. You came here from Earth and she was born here on the Pillow World. It'd be easy to simply have her take your place on Earth while you take her spot here.'
"And I know your plans on Earth so it's no deal." Hoagie retorted.
Bill sighed. 'Well it's not like it'd make a difference since you won't be here for very long.'
Hoagie looked a bit confused now but was still wary. "What do you mean?"
'I mean, I got my boys working on the portal right now and when they do…Well, let me show you.' Bill snapped his fingers.
He was standing in some kind of lab, staring at a giant machine resembling a gate and with him were Dipper, Mabel, Stan and…
"Grandma! Mom! Tommy!" He called out but stopped when he noticed something. "My voice…" He looked down at himself. "I'm a kid again?!"
This was so unreal.
He had spent years inside the Pillow World and yet he was back in the real world like nothing had changed.
"This can't be real."
But it felt so real.
"Something's coming through!" Dipper called out.
Hoagie looked up and saw two figures emerging through the portal. One looked like a man while the other was the outline of a young woman.
Her face came through the portal…
"Sky?!"
The young woman stared at him. "Who are you?"
"It's me…Your dad."
The woman scowled. "That's just stupid. You are a kid. My dad abandoned me and my mom in the Pillow World. He left us there to save his own skin."
"What?! No I-"
Sky grabbed him by the collar and lifted him off the ground. "But you do look like him…Which only makes me mad. You coward…" She tightened her grip. "You coward! You abandoned mom and me and left us to die there!"
"NNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Hoagie screamed as the vision ended.
'Yeah, gets real rough doesn't it?' Bill asked, lounging on a chair.
"How does that happen?" Hoagie looked up at Bill. "I'd never leave Nyx and Sky!"
'You did when a rift caused by the gate opened up and sent you back home.' Bill explained.
"The gate?"
'Oh yeah, you don't know!' Bill chuckled. 'I got my boys working on the gate as we speak. They'll have it up and running soon and when it does it'll have MAJOR effects on Earth and here!'
"Then that means…" Hoagie's eyes widened. "I can send myself, Nyx and Sky back home!"
'Sorry, not the case Sky-King. Klarion won't let his student go. She's still serving time for saving you.' Bill pointed at Hoagie. 'Of course, he does want you out of his hair so he'll let you and the brat go.'
"That's not good enough!" Hoagie barked. "How do we all get out of here?"
'Well, you can either use the rift or go the old fashion way. It'll just take a few more decades.' Bill shrugged.
"Decades? For what?"
'For you to die.' Bill answered simply. 'That's the best way to get out of here.'
"If Nyx dies she'll become a Lady of Chaos! I can't let that happen!" Hoagie argued but thought over what he had learned. "But what if Sky simply goes?"
'Oh?' Bill leaned forward. 'Do tell.'
"Beat it, Cipher. I'll never make a deal with you again." Hoagie snapped.
'Sheesh, I was just trying to lend a helping hand but since I like you so much…' Bill's eye flashed.
Hoagie grunted as felt a blast of information appear in his mind. "The rifts…They'll be right here in this cabin."
'And you know what to do.' Bill laughed as he vanished. 'I'll be watching!'
Once he was gone Hoagie woke up and found himself back on the bed with Nyx and their daughter. He softly placed his hand on his daughter's back, slightly rubbing his hand along her back and causing her to let out a content sigh.
He had a plan…
He just hoped Nyx wouldn't kill him when he told her.
Xxx
'Oh, that was good!' Klarion threw his head back as he laughed. 'Telling him where the rift will be. And sending his-'
'SSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHH!' Bill shushed Klarion with a finger over his 'mouth'. 'Don't ruin the surprise. The writer hates spoilers.'
Klarion rolled his eyes. 'Of course.'
Xxx
Hoagie never forgot when it would happen.
He had been preparing for this ever Cipher had showed up.
He had already talked to Nyx and once she had calmed down( after trying to blast him with enough chaos magic that blew up nearly half cabin) she had agreed it was for the best.
Today was the day they were waiting for.
Today was the day they had been dreading.
Today was the day the two parents would sacrifice seeing their daughter grow up to make sure she was safe.
Hoagie had already prepared a message while Nyx had cast a sleeping spell on Sky when it was close to bed time so she wouldn't be awake for what would happen and no doubt try to stay with her parents.
"Is everything ready?" Nyx asked from behind, just as Hoagie folded his message.
He turned around, facing her and saw tears traveling down her cheeks. "Are you sure you want to do this? We can stop while we still can."
Nyx hesitated to answer. Of course she wanted to keep her daughter, her baby with them and to watch her grow up but that was impossible. Klarion had made sure Nyx would never be able to escape him and she couldn't bear the thought of her cursing harming her daughter. She hoped she would be safe with her father's family and possibly Tambry.
A chance to be a real little girl.
It had dawned on Nyx that she was essentially doing the same thing to her daughter that her mother had done to her. It was horrible to admit it to herself but at the very least Sky would be surrounded by real family.
Her mother had dumped her and Tambry on a foster family that cared more for the money they received instead of caring for them.
Nyx was not doing that.
She would NEVER do that.
She leaned down and kissed the sleeping Sky on the head. "I love you. Never forget that, my beautiful Sky."
The cabin flashed with a strange light, signaling that the rifts that were being created by Bill's portal machines were now appearing.
"Nyx, its happening!" Hoagie called out.
Nyx looked up, watching as a rift appeared above her. Using her magic she peered through it and saw what was on the other side…
Earth, real and waiting for her daughter.
She wrapped Sky in a bundle with her blanket and held her up to the rift. She closed her eyes and cast a protection spell on Sky.
"My beautiful Sky, I will always love you, even when I die and am forced to become a Lady of Chaos. I've already taken the steps to make sure I will never hurt you, even when Klarion tries to force me." Nyx whispered just before she let go. "I love you."
When the rift vanished there was no trace of Sky and to Nyx the entire world had become as dark and lonely as it was when she was a little girl, yearning for her mother's love. "I love you, Sky Entrapta Gilligan. Never forget that."
Hoagie hugged her as she broke down and the both cried themselves to sleep.
Xxx
'Wow. They actually did it.' Bill laughed as Nyx sent her daughter back to Earth. 'There, Klary. With the brat gone, tubs just needs to go next and then you'll get your lady.'
"Yes." Klarion rubbed his hands. "Love really can tear people apart just as much as it can bring them together."
'Sure can. Can't wait to see great granny die of a heart attack when she meets her great granddaughter.' Bill laughed.
