Opening File: Team REYN
Team REYN (pronounced 'Reign') are a group of Class V huntsmen and huntress who were trained and fought to become one of the best to reach the limit of their abilities, each of these hunters with different backgrounds came together over the common cause and often take special assignments assigned to them by many. Their reputation was well known among many and often taken on missions on multiple countries alongside other heroes and strong huntsmen such as Scotty Blake, Dracon and the Grimm Slayer. It started out when four of the Huntsmen became involved in several missions related to the classified existence of supernatural, Cryptids, Satyra and unearthing lost records of history from many cultures. Each one picked by certain skills and abilities.
The group worked well on their first few mission after being involved with Global Justice, other skilled huntsmen and heroes like the Justice Friends, Ross' wife who is the agent operative of the agency thought they work well as a team. Even the youngest member Yara came up with the idea of the name as she thought it be cool in her own words, the group didn't argue as they agreed, thus using Erika's airship as their main use of travel and home to some.
The team is led by Ross Noften, a very intelligent young man with strong skills in leading a team, creating strategies and knowledgable in cultures and history and graduated with high honors in Nevernest Academy, being the Lion Faunus he can be considered a strong fighter and noble. He is also noted to have found some intriguing information about the Connected Era and cryptid information about Satyra's leader calling himself His Eminence.
The second member is Erika Ahlberg, a warrior from the hidden islands of Berk who fought and trained herself into becoming a warrior who was among the very few to set foot beyond her ancestral lands, believed to be the direct descendant of the Vikings that claimed to have befriend dragons. Her navigational skills and captain of the airship Stormfly were greatly useful for the team to travel at long distances and her knowledge of Cryptids.
The third member is Yara Quill who is also the youngest of the group. Her mechanical skills in designing gadgets, weapons and vehicles made her an important member of the team despite her young age to help improve upgrades and even the Stormfly along with their weapons to complete a mission or defeat an enemy. She can be considered childish and hyperactive but also part of her free spirited attitude to make a positive atmosphere.
The final member is North, an Ape Mobian from Africa who despite the physically strongest and largest member of the team. North is actually kind and soft hearted, only in combat he can be a fierce fighter after his training from the Jade Academy and years of exploring most places of the world, adopting the spiritual side and often trains with his teammates to improve the bonds between each other. North and Ross met when they discovered information and possible secrets to know about Satyra's leader and teamed up to stop them as North wishes for a future where all races on Earth come together without hate.

"When a team comes together it does not matter what gender they are or where the come from. In fact, if it is made of people from all across the world, coming from different countries and cultures then there is much more potential waiting to be found with diversity." TOM said as the file closed. "Strength through knowledge, wisdom from understanding and the potential to grow from the bonds of your team can make something amazing."

After Team REYN arrived they were given free clearance to the Justice Hall's lab to know about the robots they gathered for study and find out who and what they are. Yara who is a genius in technology after studying in the San Fransokyo Institute of technology took the offer to get look into them. The blue haired huntress used her goggles that were equipped with sensors to scan the parts, in all honesty she was amazed of the different designs. She was currently sitting on the table with her legs crossed and picked up an arm for a closer look.
"Incredible." She whispered as she sounded amazed and awed. "Whoever built these had technology way ahead of anything on the planet; possibly make Robotnik and DexLab's look like toys compared to these. If Professor Granville was here, she'd have a field day over this."
It was a good job they came and took out a few of them when they arrived in GrimmFall and not like it was the first time fighting robots in her time as being a hunter, a lot of strange things she seen and almost thought to be stories. But something about these robots reminded her of something but couldn't think of where. She frowns and hates having to think so hard when in the middle of research. "Now if only you could tell what you were up to."
"Hey."
Yara lifted her head to the sound of someone's voice, to her side was a blonde girl in some green outfit, not certain who she is, possibly one of the guests in the JF headquarters. "Sorry, didn't mean to disturb you but heard some group of strong huntsmen arrived."
She shrugged her shoulders and smiled. "Yep, you're looking at one of them!" She grinned and pointed her thumb to her, seeing the surprised look on the blonde archer's face. "Yeah, you be surprised how anyone at my age can be a Class V Huntress.
"Well, you must be really skilled to be that strong." Truth be told Artemis only knew little about how the Huntsmen system worked in this world, she believed both Superboy and herself needed to improve their skills if they ever need to get back in one piece. "Go by the name Artemis." She introduced herself while extending her arm to the Huntress after giving her codename, not so sure about giving her real name soon.
Yara smiled and accepted it. "Naming yourself after the Goddess of the Hunt? Nice choice. Names Yara Quill. First time around here?"
"You could say that, but not every day you get attacked by kill robots in a superhero's HQ." Artemis said, noticing the robot parts she had. "So, any clue about them?"
Yara turned back to the parts and lifted her goggles. "Well, obviously these guys are seriously advanced, built for battle after somehow bringing an entire army here of all places. They can transform between robot and vehicle." She picked up a head from the aero drone with the least damage to its faceplate. "If only I could hack into their brains and know about them."
"I'll say, but that woman with the shades called them... Transformers I think, maybe she knows something." Artemis suggested which could help shed some light on them.
This caught Yara's interest and thought it over. "If she can, we need to find out soon if they are related to the Fallen. But I found some parts and circuits similar to some we brought back on the way. I could use some extra hand to bring it from the ship." She suggested after hopping off from the table to stretch her legs.

"Yeah it was chaos out here when we arrived, luckily the heroes got the job done while we managed to take out some of them before they could leave the Hall of Justice." Ross held his tablet to speak with someone while walking around through the hallways to observe the damage done by the machines' surprise attack.
"Well I'm just glad to hear you safe and others after the long journey." A young woman's voice responded making the lion Faunus smile. "But what were they? Robotnik's? Too advanced to be Con Carne's."
"Wish I knew for certain, Yara is already on it and will send it to your superiors in Global Justice to find out. We'll stick around GrimmFall for the time being to help some folks out, Sebben will fill us in on the situation. No doubt it has something to do with Sammael."
"Possibly, since the battle in the mall things are getting tense and keeping a look out for what the Satyra are up to. Doubt that P.O.I.N.T. will let this go."
He rolled his eyes and could imagine them becoming a slight problem to work with, especially Foxtail for that matter. He heard one of the students showed up try becoming Major Glory's sidekick. "True, not sure why but they seem to be hiding something."
"Like the time we met in A. Nigma and you had the same feeling about that place." She said as he nodded when he found some possible theories of its founder's sudden disappearance almost a century ago.
"Yeah, feels like something big is going on and I don't like it." Ross told her and adjusted his glasses while in thought until he heard her spoke once more.
"Listen, I have to go now, but maybe after I get the break we could plan a vacation, I know a good place on the islands for sun and beach?" She suggested to him, giving him a slight surprise and had thought over it.
"Well, I guess a vacation would sound good since I've been working a lot for while." He responded.
"Great! I'll sort out the arrangements while on our way there, but the main task is to keep Clover from going on a shopping spree in town." Hearing her sigh and made him feel pity for her. "Have to go, love you."
He chuckled softly. "Good luck and love you too, Sam." With that he hanged up and sighed as he began to take note that when they feel ready to start a family and if they had any daughters, he will make certain to protect certain credit cards. His thoughts were interrupted by his teammates.
"Everything ok?" North asked him.
Nods his head and puts his tablet away. "Yeah, Sam and her friends will be coming over and making plans for a break later."
The Ape Mobian nodded his head. "It is good to relax the mind and body, with all that is going on we could use some time but right now there are things to do first."
"Like those two kids the Mayor mentioned to train. I'm quite interested to know who they are and what their connections are with Sammael. But so far we have yet to know about these machines." He said.
"I spoke with one of the civilians named Greg, he says a woman named Garnet is familiar with them and perhaps she can shed some light on all this." North thought it might help to know who they are up against. With so many foes they need to be on high alert.
Ross had the same idea and could help. "We could bring them to our ship and look at the ones we brought with us. We need to know more about this new foe as soon as possible. It may link to this coded transmission we found." A while ago they found what was left of some old lab, almost as if a war zone happened and found some data files undamaged, but protected by very strong firewalls. "Let's go meet them and see how good they are."
North nodded and both made their way to go meet the guests and test their skills.

Outside the Hall of Justice Pops walked outside to see the mess made by the robots, when he heard from Carl about what happened he rushed over to check on the boys and everyone if they were ok. The restaurant owner noticed what looked like a sailing ship landed close by with engines on both sides, closer look at it was made for some steampunk-style, he can see a crest with a black dragon in a loop with only one side of its tail having a fin on top.
"Wow! When did that show up?" Pops turned around to see Greg walking outside the building and noticed the airship.
"Possibly some huntsmen I heard came, but something about that crest seems familiar." Pops stroked his chin and thought of it when he sees the Swat Kats exiting the ship with some crates. He thought perhaps to give them a hand if needed. "Say, you boys need a hand?"
"Nothing much to carry but appreciate it." Razor said while carrying a large container with both Pops and Greg got a hold of from the front. "Thanks."
"What's in this stuff anyway?" Greg asked when T-Bone walked passed them carrying some sort of large greenish-tint black robot over his shoulder, only half of its upper body, arm and head were intact. "Uhh, should we even ask?"
"If you guys are tourists I suggest coming back another time." They heard a young woman's voice and saw a red haired woman who in Greg's belief appears to be a pirate but with some modern attire.
Pops came up to her and waved his hands at her. "Oh it's ok, we're guests here by Mayor Sebben. This your ship? She's a beaut. Oh where are my manners, names Pop's, this here is Greg Universe." Pops said, reaching his hand out to her.
"Nice to meet ya."
The woman smiled and accepted their handshake. "Thank you, you hardly see any of these nowadays but nothing wrong of adding some modern day equipment to keep this baby up in the air. The Stormfly has quite a history in her."
"I'll say, wait to ya see what they got in there. Lots of neat stuff they have." T-Bone told them.
After she gave the name of the ship, Pop's eyes popped open as he now realised where he seen that crest. "Wait a sec, then you... you couldn't... Erika Alhberg? The Silver Scales Valkyrie?"
Now it was Greg's turn to be amazed as if meeting a celebrity. "Seriously?! As in the member of Team REYN? Wow! I-I mean, of course you guys are really skilled huntsmen but got a great rep in the huntsmen community alongside the Grimm Slayer, the Dracon of Denver and even the Swat Kats."
The Swat Kats nodded their heads and smiled. "No kiddin, we met the others and explained they be helping out with the training for some rookies. But if it meant hiring Class V huntsmen and huntresses, this must be serious." T-Bone gave a thought to share with them after the recent monster attack by the same thing that caused a rampage in Beach City a while back.
Erika agreed with them. "I heard about that, just wish we could've gotten here sooner."
"No need to take the burden, missy. No one could've known this would happen but thankfully we got extra help." Pops assured her and looking forward to seeing how they use their skills and abilities in person, maybe he can get the boys to learn from them. "Why don't we take this lot inside and not stand around? I can make up something up for everyone at the restaurant, on the house!"
"Now that sounds good to me." Greg accepted the offer.
"I'm down with that!" Razor nodded and eagerly carried the stuff. Even T-Bone didn't want to turn down a free meal.
As the group made their way towards the building, Pops leant over to Erika's side to whisper. "Oh, and uh, just a little heads up, when a certain muscle brain with a pair of shades and blonde hair stacked up come up to you with fancy moves or words, try not to uh, bash his skull. Has a good heart, but lacks the brain."
While she was uncertain what he was on about she had a pretty clear idea and smiled. "Not to worry, usually men I run into that don't get the picture would face the wrath of a Valkyrie. But I have someone else in mind."
"So you some sort of Viking-ish? Sorry if I'm being too personal or anything." Greg asked her as he noticed some sort of cultural theme to her words and the ship, but hearing some stories about the names of her weapons.
"Not at all, in fact I named my weapons after the great giants Aegir and Rán." She answers his question. "My people still practice in what you would consider Norse mythology to keep some of our cultural heritage alive after my ancestors were almost wiped out by an unfortunate event."
"Sorry to hear that. Just thought cause I just heard about the...Thor's Hammer being here." Greg felt a little nervous of bringing it up, not certain explain what happened.
Erika suddenly stopped and turned around to face him. "Thor's Hammer? Well, we know but some of my people don't feel comfortable with it in the hands of outsiders. But so long as an Asgardian like Valhallan is around it is fine. Many have tried to prove themselves worthy but so far nothing. I know a friend of mine who thought if he tried to test it but didn't work, even jokingly thought to make me his queen if he did for a bet, but we were just kids back then and all cocky." She chuckled softly over the memories. "I would be amazed if some unsuspecting fool was chosen in our time of needs."
"Bet ya 10 bucks if it were." T-Bone said.
"I'll take that bet." Razor joined in.
But while they presumed their walk into the hall, Greg couldn't help but let out a nervous chuckle. "Y-Yeah, I mean... w-w-what are the odds of that happening?" But his expression didn't escaped Pops who noticed the way he was behaving.
"Something the matter?"
"Uh, well... you see uh..." Not sure how to answer Pop's question. "Well best for you to see for yourself. And you're NOT going to believe it if I told you." Greg said, thinking of preparing him for the surprise of his life.
"Son, in all my years of experience from a simple cook to a veteran huntsman, nothing will surprise this old man." Pops replied and feels this one wouldn't be any different.

"…I don't believe it."
And yet the proof was standing right in front of him.
Johnny Bravo, dressed in Asgardian armor and helmet with a fur cape and boots and holding the very hammer Greg had been talking about.
"I don't believe it."
Pops had seen many things over the years, both weird and amazing.
But this?
"I don't believe it."
He even wore the Belt of Strength that goes with the armor.
"I don't believe it."
"Hey, Pops! Check it out!" Johnny held up Mjolnir. "I'm Thor!"
Pops just continued staring alongside Erika. "I. Don't. Believe it."
"I've been up all night, seeing what I can do. I know I can make lightning, make lots of dangerous wind and I can talk to animals. Right now I'm on fish with Amethyst." Johnny gestured with his thumb to a glass bowl and inside was Amethyst shape shifted as a fish.
"Johnny, I keep telling you that Poseidon was the one who talked to fish." Carl cut in.
"Oh, you mean that guy with the hammer?"
Carl face palmed at the question. "….Never mind."
"Okay, Amethyst. Let's see if I can understand ya."
Amethyst floated up to the surface of the bowl. "Uh, does it matter if I am in the water or not? And would you want to talk to the fish while having dinner? I mean, is it okay to talk to tuna while you are eating it?"
"Hmm…" Johnny brought a finger to his chin. "That's a good question. I mean, I should be able to understand it anywhere right? That's the whole point of being a god and talking to fish."
"Well, you can talk to fish on land. We got that covered." Amethyst held up a flipper, mimicking a thumb's up.
"Sweet!" Johnny pumped a fist into the air. "Maybe we should try talking to an octopus next."
"You got it." Amethyst shape shifted into an octopus, shattering the bowl as she grew and covered the briefing room table. "How's it going?"
"Eh, I'm good." Johnny shrugged.
"I don't believe it." Erika finally said.
"I warned you." Greg shrugged.
T-Bone nudged Razor. "Where's that ten bucks?"
Razor grumbled certain words not suited for open conversation as he forked over T-Bone's winnings.
"So uh…Johnny." Pops cleared his throat. "You're really Thor now! Uh…wow!" He put on a smile and did his best to look pleased for his student…even as he wept inside for the future of his species.
"Yeah! And it's awesome! Almost about as awesome as the seventh siege of Jotunheim when the Warriors Three and I- I mean Thor singlehandedly circumvented Laufi's brilliantly staged defensive lines!" Johnny beamed…then paused. "Wait, what was I saying?"
"Wait a second…" Carl held up one finger. "Johnny, what can you tell me about Vikings?"
"Oh, plenty!" Johnny beamed. "Like for starters, people are way too caught up in depictions of them being nothing but raiders. Many were actually farmers, merchants and just regular people, but everybody just lumped them together with their warriors: the actual Vikings. Did you know they actually managed to form a vast coastal empire in all but name with how far they spread? They hit America way before that blowhard Columbus, by the way." He nodded. "…sorry, what was I saying?"
"…he's right." Erika said, stunned. "How would you know all that when I've been told that you are…um…"
"I think when Johnny gained Thor's powers; he may have gotten his memories too!" Carl explained. "Pops, this might not be entirely a good thing. Thor would have had thousands of years of experiences by the time he died and Johnny doesn't even have half a human life time's worth. What if Thor's start to…overwrite Johnny's memories and personality?"
"Okay, okay, stay calm, I might have…" Pops sighed. "Oh who am I kidding? I've got nothing. Erika, you're the Viking here."
"What makes you think I have any clue?" Erika demanded. "Where's Valhallen?! He was supposed to be looking after the hammer!"
"He's on a mission." Major Glory said as he stepped into the room. "One of dire importance, so I ask you forgive his absence but the duties of a hero cannot wait."
"Okay, I get that. I'm just trying to wrap my head around the fact that after thousands of years the hammer of Thor picked…that!" Erika gestured to Johnny.
"Hey now, I'll have you know that Thor in his youth was exactly like me!" Johnny replied. "And oh man…did he get a lot of babes." He grew a dumb smile. "Did you know he had a nickname? He liked people calling him T-Money?"
…
…
…
"Ha! T-Money!?" Amethyst fell over onto the floor, laughing so hard she almost sounded like she was choking.
"I need to sit down." Erika groaned, rubbing her brow.
"I need an aspirin." Pops added.
"When Johnny states it that way, it actually makes sense." Major Glory spoke. "In his youth, Thor was known to be irresponsible and thick headed, but he still had a big heart and good intentions behind his actions. Valhallen spoke many times of his valiant actions, and how the Thunderer had grown overtime to become a true leader and aspiring King by the time of his fall. I believe that those who came here expected mere strength of arms or capacity for imminent violence at a whim to be the standard by which Mjolnir weighed their worth, when in reality…it may have been seeking someone much like its original wielder who could potentially grow to become Thor as he was."
"Of course!" Carl nodded. "So this means that Johnny could be the next King of Asgard then?"
"…" Major Glory awkwardly coughed as he remembered Valhallan's retelling of Odin warning against allowing a 'doofus' to ascend the throne of the Aesir. "Let's not dwell on that, shall we?"
"Please. Let's not." Pops agreed. "Okay, so Johnny is Thor now. Can't change that. What happens next?"
"Well, now that you bring that up…" Major Glory looked uncertain. "I wouldn't ordinarily be quick to entertain the idea, but I think that the only way anyone can help Johnny is if...someone makes a call from Valhallan's room."
"Why would you need-"
"A call through the Bifrost."
A collective sharp breath was drawn in.
"Ohhhh boy!" Carl clapped. "The roots of the World Tree! The passages between the nine realms! And Valhallan has an access point to them in his bedroom?!"
"It's the room of the Viking God of Rock." Erika shrugged. "It's literally like a doorway to Asgard. But any doorway like that is to be under heavy guard to keep…" She gestured to Johnny as he continued to flex with his hammer. "…from accessing the nine realms on a whim. There's a reason why my ancestors were instructed to destroy, guard or otherwise make unaccessible similar entry points."
"Well, unfortunately since Valhallen is not here one of us will have to go in and try to make contact with Odin." Major Glory continued. "If anyone can properly help our friend here it would be him."
"Let me do it." Erika volunteered. "I am well versed in the history and culture of my people. Asgard would be willing to listen if someone of Viking blood wishes to speak with them."

"Lapis is human now?"
Steven couldn't believe it.
And yet here was Lapis herself, lying on the bed in front of him and looking entirely human. After weeks of trying to find her and free her from Malachite here she was and yet something was very wrong. Her gemstone was being analyzed and from what Garnet could tell it was functioning perfectly…
Without Lapis!
It was almost as if Lapis had been completely replaced with something else now inside her gemstone.
"It seems that way." Garnet said, holding Lapis' gemstone. "And yet, her gemstone still harbors the essence of a Gem."
"But how?" Steven wondered. "How is Lapis a human now? And if she's out here then who…" Steven looked at the gemstone. "Is in there?"
"I don't know but we will keep a close eye on both." Garnet said, placing a hand on Steven's shoulder.
"…I wish Pearl was here." Steven uttered out loud.
Xxx
"We're here!" Pearl said, standing outside the Hall of Heroes with Peridot and Connie. "I hope Steven is okay."
