Opening File: The Four Light Goddesses
A common legend that can be found the sacred arts of Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam and Christianity. Each Goddess is represented by the color of light that they manifested:
The Pink Goddess, her rich and joyful soul giving life in the world. She is considered to be like the wind, refusing to be held down by anything and wishes to be free and adventurous. She values life and freedom above all else, never thinking about what others think.
The Blue Goddess, wise and introverted she strives for perfection with herself and all around her. She spreads her wisdom to bring the gift of law to the universe. She is considered to be symbolically associated with water and is said to carry a scythe that summons the wrath of the oceans when angered.
The Yellow Goddess, independent and dominant she shapes the lands with her power over the storms. Using the power of lightning she shapes the lands as she sees fit and is a natural leader but can also be violent and short tempered. Her symbol is sometimes considered to be fire while others consider it to be lightning. In some legends it is believed she even contended with the Asgardian God Thor for the title of the God of Thunder.
And finally, the White Goddess who is the most relaxed and peaceful of the four. She is sympathetic but hides her emotions, appearing to be apathetic. Despite this she is the one the other three go to for solving problems for the world. Her light shines the brightest and removes the darkness. The stars themselves are considered her symbol, granting wishes to those who please her.
Together they are considered the Four Light Goddesses and are their legends can be found all over the world.

"Yellow. Hello my dear."
Yellow Diamond respectfully kneeled and bowed. "You asked to see me, White?"
White Diamond remained as still as a statue with her arms spread out, staring down at Yellow with an amused grin. "I have a special task for you. It regards a new addition to Pink's Special Zone."
Yellow became curious. "The Special Zone? For the organics?"
"Yes. We have discovered a new, interesting species on Pink's world. They are aggressive but possibly useful to us. It took four complete squadrons to capture the few we have managed to place inside the zone." White continued. "They are aggressive and brutally attacked anyone that came near them, even the organics already placed there."
"Then perhaps they should be destroyed." Yellow suggested.
"And explain to Pink that some of her precious organics were terminated?" White asked rhetorically. "No. Besides, these creatures could be useful as beasts of burden to us."
"Beast of burden?" Yellow asked.
"Yes. You will find them to be quite a challenge when training them." White answered, almost sounding amused.
"Training them?" Yellow gasped. "Why do you want me to train organics?"
It was in that moment that Yellow remembered who she was talking to when White glared at her and her soft spoken voice became colder. "Do you believe this to be a problem?"
"No, no!" Yellow quickly cleared her throat. "I will gladly train them."
"Good, good." White said, her glare vanishing. "I will take over some of your tasks or relegate them to Blue to free up your time. That will be all."

The tour through Blue Diamond's palace was a quiet one but still there a few places that were quite remarkable.
Blue Diamond had explained her palace and her court was one of elegance and beauty. The palace had a room filled with perhaps thousands of fountains with dozens of blue tubes with water flowing through them. There were Gems surrounding the fountains, some of them actually manipulating the waters, having them take various shapes.
"They are Lapis Lazulis." Blue Diamond said as they came upon a balcony overlooking the massive room. "This is the Room of a Thousand Fountains. Here is all that is left of Homeworld's natural water reserves. They can manipulate the water, control it to the point they can anything they want with it."
One Lapis created an icy statue of Blue Diamond herself while the other created an entire watery image of the Diamond palaces.
"Lapis Lazulis are terra formers. They can strip an entire planet of its water in a matter of days." Blue Diamond continued.
"Amazing." Ed said, staring down at the watery show in awe.
"Thank you." Blue Diamond smiled at the compliment. It was strange but in the short time they had spent together Blue Diamond was seemingly starting to at least, act positively around Ed.
"Is there any other places we can visit? I mean, shouldn't we also see Yellow Diamond?" Nigel asked.
"I suppose you are allowed to visit, under the supervision of your Pearls." Blue Diamond acknowledged but sighed. "However, you shouldn't enter Yellow's palace without me or perhaps White's Pearl. Yellow is currently off world at the moment and she…likely isn't yet open to the idea of the Elementals being here on Homeworld."
"She hates us, doesn't she?" Ed asked.
"She…hates everything about the Earth because it reminds her what we have lost." Blue Diamond looked away, but the three Elementals could see a tear slip down her face. "It was she who ordered the creation of the Cluster, her way of putting it all behind us."
So it was Yellow Diamond who ordered the Earth to be destroyed.
That didn't make things any better but they still might have a chance to stop it.
"Of course I have asked my Pearl to inform me if and when Yellow returns. Despite her feelings its prudent she accepts the orders White has given." Blue Diamond continued just before her Pearl appeared from behind.
"My Diamond." Blue Pearl saluted and bowed. "Yellow Diamond has returned."
"Is she coming to meet with us?" Blue asked.
"No, my Diamond. She has stated she will be in her personal training room." Blue Pearl answered.
Blue Diamond sighed in irritation. "Of course she did. Then we shall go and see her."
"We will?" Nigel asked, confused by the sudden decision.
"Yes. Yellow has decided to put off the inevitable ever since she heard White's orders concerning the Elementals. First she left to check on her colonies and now she's hidden herself in her training room." Blue Diamond explained, gesturing for the group to follow. "Regardless of her feelings I cannot allow her to possibly suffer punishment from White because she is being stubborn."

Yellow wasn't sure what she supposed to expect.
These were organics.
Inferiors.
What did Pink seen in them?
What did White see in them?
It did not matter, for despite Yellow's personal feelings Pink had the support of both Blue and White when it came to Earth so it was best Yellow went along with it and got it over as soon as possible.
She emerged from the Warp Pad, entering the Special Zone.
An isolate pocket dimension created from a collapsed tesseract and it was about the size of a small country. It had mountains, forests, rivers, lakes and even places where there was snow and ice. The population was small which made them manageable, even if the numbers were expected to rise over the next few centuries. The dimension was made on the orders of White Diamond herself, believing the Earth organics were too dangers to simply lock up in a space zoo like Blue Diamond had originally planned.
Once the Gems understood the needs of these organics it was easy to control them. While they made sure the organics lived prosperously, the Diamonds still demanded absolute obedience from them in return. Yellow Diamond's only contribution was setting up surveillance inside the zone and fail safes to ensure no one tries to escape. Blue Diamond ensure the economy was kept simple and yet sufficient with the population soon adapting to the laws that had been set up.
Deciding the best way to teach these organics laws was for them to learn the very laws of Homeworld itself, the way Blue and Yellow had learned after White had created them. Divisions were made and modeled after the courts of the Diamonds themselves:
Yellow Division, a division made of warriors meant to be trained to protect the people Special Zone and was modeled after Yellow Diamond's own military court.
Blue Division, a division made to deal with enforcing the laws and ensure in order in the Special Zone which was modeled after Blue Diamond's court.
Pink Division, a division made for entertainment which included throwing regular parties to bring joy and prosperity to the people. It was modeled after Pink Diamond's own court.
And finally there was White Division, the division that ensured all divisions carried out their duties in the Special Zone. It was set up in the center of the zone by White Diamond herself.
Yellow Diamond thought it was all bad comedy but kept such thoughts to herself as she came upon the area in the zone she had been told she would find the creatures White had spoken of.
Now to just get this over with…
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"
"It's loose!"
"Prime the shock stunners!"
"Too late-AH!"
Yellow Diamond watched as entire legions of Rubies, Jaspers and Agates were frozen by a blast of cold air from the creature's mouth and the many cages were torn apart. From them came winged creatures that took off into the sky while the single giant one remained. Yellow was unable to hide her surprise at the size of the creature as it turned its cold blue eyes to her.
It was almost as large as White!
The winged beast roared and lunged at Yellow as she channeled her electrical powers into her hands…

The Elementals and their Pearls followed Blue Diamond as she led them out of her palace and onto a bridge that led to a yellow palace resembling her and White's palaces. The Topaz's guarding the doors saluted and opened the door for the Diamond and she gestured for her group to follow. While Yellow Diamond's palace resembled the other Diamond palaces on the outside it was expectantly different on the inside. It was obvious from the tense atmosphere, the armed Gems roaming the halls with guards posted at every door that Yellow Diamond was indeed as much a military commander as one would find at military bases on Earth.
Blue Diamond led them to a pair of grand yellow doors that opened; revealing a giant room atop the palace with a grand yellow chair sitting in front of a giant window like wall and next to it was a yellow colored Pearl resembling Blue's. There were several other Gems, sitting at control panels surrounding the chair, all of them sparing Blue Diamond a respectful glance and bow before returning to work.
"My Diamond." The Pearl saluted. "Welcome to the Yellow Diamond control room. How may I serve you?"
"I was told Yellow had returned and was in her training room." Blue answered, stepping forward.
"Yes, she is." Yellow Pearl nodded and pointed through the near glass wall. "My Diamond is honing her skills."
The Elementals looked through the glass wall to see what was happening down below.
Down there, standing in the center of giant circular shaped room was none other than Yellow Diamond herself. Where Blue Diamond seemed to emit feelings of elegance and nobility Yellow Diamond was a figure of absolute authority and power. She stood tall and proud, glad in a yellow military like uniform similar to what Abby was wearing and yet grander and sharp, from her short angular hair to the pointed shoulder pads of her uniform and ended with the glittering stone on her chest.
In one hand she held a sheathed sword, resembling a Japanese chokuto with her other hand resting on its black handle that was decorated with yellow diamond symbols. She slightly drew the weapon, revealing the blade to be yellow that flashed brightly enough that it caused the three Elementals to briefly cover their eyes until it faded.
"That is Galaxy Storm." Blue Diamond spoke up, earning her guests' attention. "When the threat of the Grimm on Earth along with its warriors became unacceptable danger to us a personal weapon was fashioned for each Diamond. Befitting her role as leader of Homeworld's military, Yellow's weapon is that of a sword forged from the core of one of her first colonies, using molten peridotite and diamond dust from Yellow's own gemstone to form not only an indestructible weapon but one that can only be wielded by Yellow herself."
"Awesome." Ed grinned in excitement.
'Awesome' might have been a word that Nigel and Abby used at any other time but they also felt very worried as they stared at the weapon, having a bad feeling to expect from Gem matriarch wielding it.
"Yes. On Earth it was observed your warriors had a penchant for giving names to your weapons which even though seemed illogical carried over into creating our own personal weapons." Blue Diamond admitted with a small smile.
"What is your weapon?" Ed asked, surprising Blue Diamond with his question.
"My…my weapon." Blue Diamond sighed and looked away. "It's called Rainfall."
"A pretty name." Ed commented.
Blue Diamond seemed so surprised by the compliment. "…Thank you."
A loud noise brought their attention back down in the training room, Yellow Diamond watched as several doors opened and large yellow colored robots stepped out, humanoid in appearance and their heads resembled White Diamond's ship. The machines raised their arms, their fingers splitting apart from their hands and forming into what appeared to be guns that started charging. Yellow Diamond smirked, waiting as they fired and immediately unsheathed Galaxy Storm, slashing away each blast as she lunged at the machines. Two of the robots were immediately slashed in half while the third one summoned a sword and slashed at Yellow who raised her sword and blocked.
Yellow grinned as she channeled her power into Galaxy Storm, causing to glow a second later it slashed through the robot's blade, the robot falling to pieces a second later. The sound of doors opening came from behind and Yellow spun around, holding up sheath as she placed her sword back into it. Three more robots emerged, firing at Yellow but she channeled her powers again, this into the sheath and caused an energy shield to appear around her.
"The sheath for Galaxy Storm acts as a shield for both the sword and its owner." Blue Diamond commented. "While Yellow can channel her power into the sword as a form of attack the sheath can be used to create a shield to protect her from any attack."
Yellow charged at the first robot, striking it down with a quick slash from Galaxy Storm before it had any chance to attack. She deflected more incoming shots from the other two robots before slamming one into the wall with her sheath. She then knocked the next one over with a swipe and followed up with a blow that sent it flying with enough force it shattered on impact against the wall.
"Whoa…" Nigel silently said, shocked, awed and slightly afraid of the sheer power that Yellow Diamond seemed to command.
Abby was just as afraid, trembling slightly. The way Yellow Diamond moved and fought, it was beyond anything she had ever seen before. 'How are we supposed to get past someone like her if we want to escape?'
Yellow Diamond deflected another shot as a third trio of robots emerged and immediately knocked the head of a robot away with a spinning kick. She then followed up with a slash that cut off the arms of a second robot and kicked the third robot away. Another doors opened and another trio stepped out but Yellow was more than prepared. She sheathed her Galaxy Storm and an electrical aura surrounded her as she channeled her power directly into the blade.
"This is something that should be familiar to you Elementals." Blue Diamond said, earning their attention back on her. "During the war on Earth when we Diamonds clashed with your predecessors Yellow was the one who fought the most against the rebels and another group led by a warrior named Thor."
Nigel and Abby's eyes widened in shock at the mention of that familiar name. 'She means the Norse God of Thunder?!'
"Yellow and Thor's powers were similar and almost equal in many ways but Thor wielded a weapon far superior to any Gem weapon at the time. When Yellow's Galaxy Storm clashed with Thor's weapon the result was the creation of a storm greater than anything seen on Earth or any other planet in the galaxy. Yellow attempted to finish Thor off with a technique she had only recently created at the time but had yet to master it. By channeling the all of her power directly into her sword she could unleash a single attack so great it could carve an entire mountain in half." Blue Diamond continued, shocking the Elementals even further.
Down below Yellow Diamond was ready and she swung her blade, unleashing a massive lightning blast that incinerated the robots, blasted through the wall and shook the entire palace and possibly the planet.
Xxx
"Oh Yellow…" White Diamond sighed, feeling the tremors caused by Yellow's attack. "You really must learn to better channel that temper."
Xxx
When the dust cleared more than half the training room was completely gone with Yellow Diamond standing in the center, calmly sheathing her sword.
"Yellow used this exact same attack against Thor and yet she still failed to kill him because at the time she didn't know that fighting against Thor with electricity was pointless. Still, the result of the attack cleaved most of the land they had been standing in half." Blue Diamond finished her tale. "She calls this attack…Lightning Slice."
The Elementals were besides themselves, two in fear and the third in excitement. They had just seen Yellow Diamond casually decimate a part of her own palace and didn't even blink.
'To think, previous Elementals fought against her and lived.' Nigel thought, shaking a bit now.
'Has anyone ever fought her and lived to tell the tale?' Abby wondered frightfully.
'Cool…Echo! My name is Ed!' Ed thought happily.
Yellow Diamond straightened herself and calmly sheathed her Galaxy Storm before turning to the door. She looked up, seeing Blue staring down at her with mild disapproval but shook it off.

"White wanted me to actually train these creatures?!"
"I believe they are called Dragons, my Diamond." Her Pearl stated timidly.
"They are a menace!"
Yellow Diamond was unable to calm herself as the entire fight between her and that giant creature called a Dragon had lasted for an entire solar cycle before she finally managed to knock it out and drag it back into its cage herself. Yellow had emerged, sporting numerous cuts all over her uniform along with patches of ice that spread from her face to her boots.
"White must have finally lost her mind." Yellow sighed as she sat down on her chair. "How can I possibly train a creature as unruly as that…Dragon?"
Yellow Pearl had no answer for that, forced to watch as her beloved Diamond sulked on her throne. The atmosphere was so sullen that no one noticed the small shadow sneaking on them before it was too late…
"HI YELLOW!"
Yellow Diamond shot up, nearly leaping up and falling on the smaller Gem in front of her. "…Pink?! How many times do I have to tell you not to do that? And how did you get in here? And why are you on Homeworld and not on your colony?"
"Blue told me about the dragons you have in the Special Zone." Pink answered. "I asked her if I could come see them and she agreed to cover for me on Earth."
"In the middle of dealing with those rebels and those Grimm abominations?" Yellow pinched her nose. "Do any of you understand the importance of security when it comes to dealing with threats? Blue could have at least asked me to send her an escort."
"She's okay, Yellow. I promise." Pink reassured. "She has my whole court looking after her and Earth. Plus she thinks I might be able to help with those Dragons White wanted you to train."
Yellow scoffed. "Pink, I don't need help. I have the situation firmly under control."
"Like when that Dragon King knocked you onto the ground and nearly trampled you?" Pink asked innocently.
"That was a surprise attack! I managed to force it off me and I…How did you know about that?" Yellow stopped mid-sentence. "Pink, were you spying on me in there?"
"No…It's my zone. I don't have to sneak in there." Pink answered honestly.
Yellow bit back a retort, knowing that Pink was technically right on that one so there was no reason to scold her again. "Look, Pink. White has given me this assignment because obviously the Dragons are dangerous creatures. Too dangerous for you to handle and I am most suited to handling creatures like them."
"They are not dangerous!" Pink protested. "And I will prove it!"
"And how will you do that?" Yellow asked, hands on her hips. "Walk up to them and ask to be their friend?"
"Well…" Pink suddenly had a smile on her face. "If that is my plan want to make a bet?"
Yellow shook her head. "Really? That's your whole plan?"
"I am not hearing a 'no'." Pink's smile became mischievous. "Is big, strong Yellow afraid of a little wager?"
"I am not." Yellow glared. "Fine, what are the stakes?"
"Well…" Pink tapped her chin. "If I win you have to agree to negotiate with the rebels."
"And why would I do that?" Yellow scoffed.
"It's a bet." Pink answered like it was obvious. "Talk with Rose Quartz and see if we can come up with a compromise and if we do you have to agree to end the fighting."
Yellow pinched her nose again. "Pink, negotiating is Blue's specialty, not mine and you know I don't talk with rebels."
"Come on, Yellow. It's not like you have anything to lose." Pink urged.
"Fine." Yellow grudgingly accepted. "Good luck with that."
"Trust me, Yellow. When you see it, you won't believe it."
"I am sure I will." Yellow rolled her eyes.

"Pearl, tell Peridots to upgrade my training course. I barely had to use any effort at all." Yellow Diamond emerged from the training room.
"Yes, My Diamond!" Yellow Pearl answered quickly.
Yellow then turned her fellow Diamond, spied and the three organics with her. "Please tell me you did not actually bring three organics into my palace."
"They are the Elementals." Blue Diamond said simply.
"That makes it worse." Yellow threw a dismissive glance at the Elementals. "Ice, Slime and Candy. Three of our worst enemies from the one failed colony in all of Gem history. Why are they not confined?"
"Yellow, you know what White told us." Blue pointed out.
"Yes, to train the Elementals to help them unlock their potential in the hopes they will one day benefit the Empire." Yellow rolled her eyes.
"Yellow, you have trained organics before." Blue reminded her which seemed to upset Yellow. "If we are successful we can perhaps halt the emergence of the Cluster before it destroys the Earth."
"I thought we agreed that to put that planet out of our misery and put that debacle behind us." Yellow stated. "The Special Zone is a failed project, a hold out for the worst reminders of our darkest history. You can't keep holding onto it forever!"
"Why can't you at least pretend you still love her?" Blue snapped, tears threatening to spill.
Yellow stepped back, looking shocked and hurt. "How can you say to me?"
"How can I not? You removed her symbol, divided her court, and destroyed every gift she ever made for you." Blue listed, her voice growing louder. "How am I supposed to believe anything else?"
Yellow gritted her teeth and looked ready to lash out but stopped herself. "Fine, you want me to help train these organics? Allow me to show you what I learned when dealing with organics. Pearl, once the Pebbles have set up the training room again get a squad of Rubies ready. I want them all to be veterans, ones that fought in the Rebellion."
"Yes, my Diamond." Yellow Pearl answered, sending out the orders.
"Yellow, what are you doing?" Blue asked, her and the Elementals sharing a bad feeling.
"To properly train organics they need to understand the kind of danger they are in." Yellow Diamond glared down at the three. "We'll start out small and work our way up. Who knows, maybe they'll be strong enough to face down a Diamond like the other ones did during the war."
The three Elementals had the feeling that Yellow Diamond had no intention of going easy on them whatsoever. Still, the three of them, especially Abby were resolved to show her and the other Diamonds that they would not be bullied down by her or anyone else.
'Okay, you want to play rough? Let's play rough.' Abby thought.
The training had begun.
