Hello everyone! A new chapter, a new arc... an original one! :D
Now, according to Kuroshitsuji wiki, Public School took place in June and Ciel visits Germany in Emerald Witch arc during August, so... what happened in July, I wonder? Therefore, the story you will read in the following chapters will try to give an answer that, of course, includes Selina too... a lot! I call this arc... ;P
DISCLAIMER: I do not own Kuroshitsuji or its characters. I entirely own only my OCs, arcs and ideas/themes not mentioned in any form of the franchise (manga, anime, games, movies or musicals).
Chapter 14: The Tutor, On a Mission
Summer in England can be a tricky season; humidity makes heat during day stronger and light rains in the afternoon turn to heavier ones and chilly nights. That kind of weather in July made work harder for the staff of the Phantomhive manor, since in the morning they were sweaty all the time with their clothes annoyingly sticking on their bodies, whereas in the afternoon and evening the cold and rain drilled their bones. Nevertheless, the Phantomhive servants continued their work, only in a much slower pace than usual, something that really irritated the perfectionist butler, but soon even he realized it was beyond the weak humans; the weather affected them greatly and nothing could be done about it.
On such a day, Selina was in the kitchen helping Bard prepare a light dinner for Ciel, since the boy was busy in his office, but also did not have great appetite due to weather. The chef seemed as if he wanted to say something, while waiting for the bacon to get fried, and was glancing over Selina's place, who was pouring some dressing over the salad and then tossed it. She could see how impatient and curious Bard looked, but she felt too hot and tired already to ignore the man.
"Okay, spill it out."
"What?" Bard asked feigning innocence, but received a not so friendly glance from the woman that made him reconsider. "All right… I wanna ask… after master got back from school… Did ya have a fight with Sebastian? I mean a really big fight."
Selina slowly put down the small saucepan and the spoon, leaned on her hands on the counter and looked at the chef. "Where did that come from? Why did you think something like that and actually, why would we fight?"
"Well… I ain't blind… you look weird when Sebastian is around…"
Selina kept staring at him stating that was not enough explanation and asked for more details.
The chef sighed and scratched the back of his head. "All right! It's not only me, ya know. Mey-Rin also agrees with me and Snake said he had been observin' ya two lately… ya both seem too formal to each other, not like how ya were in the beginning but more like two colleagues in a perfect professional relationship."
Selina was nodding as soon as she heard the names of the other two servants. "I was so certain… You three have made up stories in your minds… again! Mr. Michaelis and I are as we always were, two colleagues striving for a perfect professional relationship, nothing more nothing less. And there was never something more between us, as much as you three would like to imagine stuff like that."
Bard seemed not very convinced and that made Selina growl to him in anger. "I'm sorry but it's hard to believe. When ya first came here ya were polite and stuff but ya always teased each other, but now ya don't do that. Yer interactions are clearly about work and ya both look uncomfortable with that."
Selina raised her eyebrows. "Really? In what way?"
"Well, Snake says ya always look on guard when Sebastian's around ya and yer body stiffens if he comes closer, while ya try to hide the blush on yer cheeks. Sebastian, on the other hand, is as he always was, but Snake has caught sight of him looking at ya when yer back is to him and the look in his eyes is not what ya would call professional…" Bard said meaningfully.
Selina was looking at the man speechless. Yes, indeed she was always cautious when Sebastian was around her, because although he had actually promised to stop playing tricks on her, the last thing he said that night really bothered her. What did he mean by saying he never plays games that he does not enjoy to the fullest? Was he enjoying touching and… kissing her? She really could not believe it. Sebastian might have a human form with flesh and bones but that was just a… suit he was wearing; he was still a demon, a non-human creature anymore and there was no way he would suddenly start have human desires and cravings. And, of course, that made his words even more enigmatic and confusing for Selina.
On the other hand, his behaviour since that night with Ciel's photograph was indeed flawless towards her, nothing revealing that something more could have happened between them even for a moment. That greatly relieved Selina and was helping her fight her uneasiness… Although it seems she did not do a really good job, since the so silent and seemingly apathetic footman had spotted it, and then showed the way to the gossiping chef and maid.
Bard took the bacon off the fire and came by her side to place it in the plate she had prepared with the rest of the food. "Com' on… ya can tell us. Did ya have a… lov-"
He did not have the chance to say anything else since the woman grabbed the neckline of his uniform and pulled him closer in anger. "Honestly guys, I consider you my friends, but this is too much. I have repeatedly explained you there never was and never will be something between Mr. Michaelis and me. Why can't you accept that and leave it rest?" She released him as her anger subsided and gave place to a hurt look in her eyes. "I mean, I feel like you're not respecting my wish or my feelings. Have you ever thought that even if I felt something for him and had been rejected, you would not help if you poked the matter all the time?"
Bard scratched the back of his head and looked at her apologetically, like a child caught doing something naughty. "Ah, ya're right about that. Honestly, we didn't mean to be so nosey, it's just that… we care. In such a short time, ya really have become one of us and we know Sebastian for almost three years now, so we don't want any ill will between ya two, since ya're so perfect together." While talking he had circled the woman's shoulders with one arm, and she rested her head on his shoulder.
"I get it, thank you very much for caring, it feels nice. But there is no reason for you to worry; everything is fine between Mr. Michaelis and me and strictly professional. There is absolutely no way for him to see me as something else, in his eyes I am no different from all of you guys."
"Maybe, but… if he looked at me like that, I wouldn't feel comfortable, Mey-Rin on the other hand… I wonder when he'll make a move to ya." His eyes twinkling playfully.
Selina lifted her head and gave a friendly punch on the chef's strong chest. "Are you deaf or a complete imbecile? Is Sebastian right for calling you that?" Bard responded with a roaring laughter watching Selina imitating Sebastian's look when calling them imbeciles.
Suddenly they heard someone clearing his throat; they turned and saw Sebastian standing straight right at the door with a really annoyed look on his face. "I am deeply sorry for interrupting your intimate moment…" His voice clearly ironic as his almost burning eyes followed Bard's hand where it was still hugging Selina's shoulders; the blond man saw that and immediately removed the offending hand. "But master would like to dine soon enough."
"Yes, of course, Mr. Michaelis. Everything is ready." Selina said while placing the plates on the tray along with everything else.
Sebastian took the tray, scanned the food with his eyes and his nose informed him that it was indeed edible, and started to leave. Then he stopped and turned to look at Selina. "Oh Miss Clark, would you please come with me too? Our master would like to talk to you while dining."
"Yes, absolutely. Let me clean my hands and I will be right behind you." She said and indeed in a matter of seconds she had joined the stern butler.
As they were crossing the hallway that led to Ciel's office, Sebastian was walking in front of Selina giving her a good view of his broad shoulders and tall, straight back. The woman found she could not take her eyes off him as she was thinking what Bard told her. The servants had caught Sebastian looking at her in moments her attention was distracted elsewhere… Now that she was thinking about it, there were instances when she felt like being watched, but usually there was no one there. Did that mean the eyes she felt were Sebastian's? Did he trust her so little that he thought he should watch her at all times? That was the only logical explanation she could think, despite what the servants thought, what his words implied, what she…
The knock on the office's door brought her back to reality and followed the butler in the room. They found the boy Earl slumping in his chair with papers scattered on his office. At the moment he was rubbing his face obviously tired, but his eye brightened at the sight of food.
"What took so long? It was nothing extremely complicated to prepare… even for Bard." He said as he got up followed by some cracks in his joints; humidity was not beneficial for the young body that had been through quite a few hardships already.
"I am terribly sorry, my lord. It seems that is not always good for the servants to get too friendly with each other; intimacy takes its toll on their work." Sebastian said as cool and ironic as ever, while placing the tray on the table at the other side of the room and preparing the armchair for his master.
"What on Earth are you talking about again? You are very touchy lately. Solve whatever is that bothers you soon; we have job to do." The child said in all his masterful authority and sat to eat. Selina could not help but admire the deep knowledge the boy had for his butler, in order to detect that easily his servant's annoyance, even if it was well hidden.
"I am sorry, my lord. Mr. Michaelis means that Bard and I were discussing something while preparing dinner and… we might have gotten distracted for a while. It will not happen again, I assure you." She said and slightly bowed in apology.
"You better be. Anyway, please, Miss Clark, sit down, there is something I want to discuss with you." He made a gesture to Sebastian who walked to the office and started searching something among the many papers.
"Young master, why cannot you keep some order on your office? It is not that difficult to place everything in respective stacks." The butler sighed still searching obviously annoyed.
A mischievous twinkle appeared on the boy's eye as he was eating. "No, it is not difficult… but where is the fun in that? What will you do if everything is in order?"
Selina bit her lower lip in an effort not to smile in view of the fun the boy had and of the butler giving the child a fed-up glance for a second before he finally retrieved an opened envelope and came back to his master's side.
"Her Majesty has a new mission for me in which, I definitely require your assistance, since its nature does not allow me to be present, plus it might be of your… magical interest." Ciel said and nodded Sebastian to give Selina the envelope.
She took it, pulled the folded paper from inside and started reading Queen Victoria's words; for a moment she struggled to focus on the text and not allow herself to be overwhelmed with awe at the thought of reading one of the most private letters of a great Queen in history.
"My dear boy,
How is your health? I really hope all is well. I felt really sorry hearing your decision to not continue attending Weston, since it would benefit you in becoming an even more perfect gentleman than what you already are.
However, I cannot blame you. The shock of the dark deeds that took place in these halls must be great. It is for me, as I still cannot fully stomach the harsh truth, that my beloved nephew was the root of evil in this case.
I wish that would be the end of evil in our world, but it seems it is never ceases, and a new occurrence came to my knowledge that needs your outstanding skills.
I have been informed that in the summer resort "Sunny Sands" in St. Ives, Cornwall, many disappearances of newly-wed couples on their honeymoon have occurred. They usually disappear on the evening of the third day of their vacations and after a few days the bodies of the grooms are usually found horribly butchered.
I have been told that "Sunny Sands" is a very beautiful resort available to everyone, run by a very respectable Mr. Herman Bates after the death of his late mother. There is a specific honeymoon suite and that is where all the couples spent the two nights prior their disappearance.
Of course, dark superstition could not miss the chance of disrupting the truth with rumours of ghosts wandering the area around the resort and the sandy cove Porthgwidden, where the couples were last seen. Needless to say, these rumours are various, and the said ghosts are either an old woman or wraithlike figures that are supposed to be the brides looking for their grooms.
I give you clearance to see to the situation however you see fit and solve the matter as soon as possible. I cannot imagine the terror these poor couples experienced during the sweetest period of their love; it is always terrible and painful to get separated by your soul mate, but it is even more horrible when someone robs you from the bright future you could have with your mate right at the beginning, the moment where love is the sweetest and only thing you need to survive.
My dear boy, I lay my trust in you once again, certain that you will work hard as always to shed the light of truth and justice and put my poor, old mind at ease. I wish you luck with all my heart and kiss you lovingly.
Her Majesty, Queen Victoria."
Selina's hands were trembling a little as she read the letter and had to take a deep breath to calm herself. Various emotions seemed to appear on her face, but she quickly mustered her features back to her usual bright smile.
"Very interesting assignment, I must say, my lord. Do you believe there are really ghosts in this case or are they fabrications of some weak human mind?" She asked him as she placed the letter back in the envelope.
Ciel took his time in answering. "Well… until recently I would go for the second option. I still believe they most probably are indeed fabrications, but…" He looked at Sebastian and then at her meaningfully. "Let us say, certain events and people made me more cautious before expressing my opinion in such matters. However, you two are the experts in the… supernatural, so what do you think is really happening? Sebastian?"
"Well, my lord. I truly believe there is no truth in these claims. You see, ghosts are supposed to be human souls who cannot move on, only that is almost impossible since reapers are always collecting the cinematic records of the dead and that, let us say, pushes the soul to the next level. If that does not happen the reason will usually be that the soul is contracted to a demon, therefore, consumed. It is an either-or situation and I cannot see how the existence of ghosts fit in this picture; I myself have never come across one." Sebastian said sure of himself.
"And that is where you make a mistake, Mr. Michaelis." Selina said with a confident smile that made Sebastian and Ciel look at her with wide eyes. "You are correct about the records part and the contract but there is a third option. They are extremely rare but there are cases that something really horrible has happened to the person who died, usually something someone else did to that person…"
"Like murder for example?" Ciel asked.
"Exactly, but in a very tormenting and agonizing way. Usually, actual tortures have preceded death and have prolonged the agony, so that the soul becomes insane and cannot recognize it is dead and is time to move on. As a result that kind of soul is very… slippery for reapers to catch, since it still uses its cinematic records in a loop, creating the illusion the person is still alive and in search of something or someone; usually of the most beloved person to which the soul feels attached to. Now, we have an insane wandering soul… it can be a very tasty delicacy for famished lower rank demons – not of your caliber, Mr. Michaelis – but these demons are so weak that the soul can easily escape their grip too. The result is that it keeps wandering… forever, and while wandering, yes, they become what people call ghosts."
"So, Miss Clark, you believe that there are indeed ghosts in this case."
"I cannot say for sure, my lord, unless I see them with my own eyes. If we take for granted that these couples are brutally murdered, we have what it needs for a ghost to be created; however… why only the women became ones? What about the men? Their bodies are the ones found and we know that they are dead, whereas we cannot be sure about the women."
"Indeed… and the old woman around the resort."
"Pardon me, young master, but I really think that is a lie, nothing but a human trick played on the expense of the people." Sebastian said.
Selina nodded. "I have to agree with Mr. Michaelis. Unless there is another piece of the puzzle that we do not know yet, the ghost of an old woman does not fit anywhere, so I too believe this is something man-made."
"All right. Now, I am of the opinion that the potential abductor or killer must be extremely close to the resort, in order to know when the couples arrive and be able to study them so that he knows which couples to choose."
"My lord?" Selina asked a little bit confused.
"Not every couple that has stayed in the honeymoon suite has disappeared. It seems that the perpetrator chooses the couples based on something." The boy informed her.
"Seven out of tens of couples having stayed there have gone missing the last ten months, the latest was a month ago. We have already checked various parameters, like the dates they occupied the suite, the age of the woman or of the man, their physical appearances, we even thought they might occur at specific dates of the month, but none of these create a pattern. We have absolutely no idea how the victims are being chosen." Sebastian explained.
Selina nodded thoughtfully and Ciel continued. "As I was saying, the perpetrator must be someone really close to the resort, I actually think it is someone working or staying in the resort. Therefore, I cannot travel to St. Ives and simply start investigating; although the resort is open to everyone. I think it would be very suspicious if a… young child, like me… goes there for vacations and suddenly starts inquiring for the disappearances. It would make suspicious the guilty party and therefore cautious, leading me nowhere."
Selina's gaze was darting from the boy to the butler and she was in a serious trouble trying not to laugh. On the one hand, the child had a scowl on his face showing how furious he was for having to admit being nothing but a child, even though he tried to maintain his authoritative air; on the other hand, the butler had an almost saintly look on his face that was very ironic while clearly thinking "How convenient, he remembers that he is a child only when it conveniences him. What a brat!".
"Y-yes… my lord. You are right. That is very possible to happen if you go there to investigate yourself. So what is your plan?"
A satisfied smirk appeared on the boy's lips and he fixed his eye on the woman. "Well, we came up with a plan with Sebastian, which I think will be the fastest and most effective way to shed light on the matter. I need two people to go there under the pretence of being a newly-wed couple on honeymoon; they will stay in the specific suite and investigate."
"A perfect plan I must say, my lord. No one will suspect anything, and the investigation will be a success. So, who will be these two people? I guess the one will be Mr. Michaelis, therefore Mey…" Selina stopped as realisation came to her and her face became of the palest shade.
Ciel nodded. "Correct, Sebastian will be the… 'husband' and you, Miss Clark, will be the 'wife'. Almost everything is already taken care of."
At this, Sebastian having the most mischievous grin on his lips and sparkle in his almost red eyes, produced a small box from his pocket, took a couple of steps towards the armchair Selina was sitting and opened the box revealing two silver wedding bands while kneeling in front of her. He seemed to enjoy so much her embarrassment, as panic in her eyes along with a deep blush painting her cheeks, made the woman unable to articulate a word for a while.
"My lady, will you do me the honour?" Sebastian asked with his charming, honeyed voice.
Selina pushed herself deeper in her armchair in an effort to put some distance between her and the alluring demon. She kept staring at the rings, avoiding his eyes and trying to speak, but felt as if something had grabbed and was crashing her throat. However, watching Sebastian slowly removing the smaller ring from the box, she forced herself to be released by that hold on her throat and after taking a deep, panicked breath she finally looked at Ciel and spoke.
"M-my lord, please, I can do whatever you ask of me but not this."
"And why is that, if I may ask?" Ciel asked indifferently.
"I… won't be really persuasive as a… married woman because… I am really allergic to all these things and…"
A clear mocking laugh was heard from Ciel. "You are allergic to what, Miss Clark? To marriage? What woman is allergic to that in this era?"
Selina's eyes lightened up. "Correct, but do not forget I am not of this era, my lord. I come from the future, and there women can very well be allergic to marriage." She was obviously in panic.
Ciel nodded, but his eyes showed no change of mind. "I remember, but that is of little importance. I have given a lot of thought to this plan and you are the only one who can accompany and assist Sebastian in this mission. Sebastian looks like a man in his early thirties and you are…"
"Twenty-nine… almost." Selina said in a ridiculously small voice.
"Which is perfect, you make a very normal young couple. Also, you are a witch, so if there are any ghosts there, they are your expertise."
Selina was obviously losing the battle and she knew it; however, she would not go down without a fight. "But what about your safety, my lord? We cannot be absent both Mr. Michaelis and I at the same time…"
"The other ones are perfectly capable of keeping me safe. Besides… I was told that the protective spells you had placed around the manor, when Sebastian and I were in Weston, were very effective and no one approached the manor and the surroundings." His voice had a finality that would not accept any other objections.
Selina bit her lower lip lightly as she recognized her defeat, and finally gave her right hand to Sebastian, who was patiently waiting in order to put the wedding band on her finger. He did that and she thought it was done, but then saw him removing his right glove and then pushing the box towards her. She finally looked at him, saw absolute amusement on his face and stubbornly crossed her arms on her chest.
Ciel sighed and rolled his visible eye. "What a luvvy… Please, Miss Clark, humour him or else he can sit there and wait… I do not know for how long." He saw a scowl appearing on the woman's features and a… supposedly hurt look on Sebastian's as the two were staring at each other; the boy sighed even deeper. "It is an order!" He finally said. At moments like this he really felt he was the only adult among them.
Selina did not move for one more minute and then grabbed the ring from the box and Sebastian's hand, pulling it to her with force, and put the ring on his finger before pushing it away, crossing her arms once again and lowering her head in an effort to hide the light blush of her cheeks for Sebastian not to see… which of course failed.
Ciel was watching them curiously, he had the feeling that what was going on between the two was something more than just Sebastian's games to entertain himself, but the boy could not put his finger on it. Sebastian rose to his feet and took his place beside him, his eyes having a very satisfied look, never leaving the seated woman.
"All right! After that… pleasant intermission, let's get back to work, shall we?" Ciel said and stood up having eaten all of his green salad with sauce and pieces of cheese and bacon. He stepped towards his office again, but then stopped and turned to his servants. "I forgot to say. You will be leaving at the end of the week and you will have five days maximum to solve this case, I believe you do not need more time. Now, tomorrow you will both have some free time to go to London and do some shopping."
"Shopping, my lord?" Sebastian asked genuinely confused.
The mischievous light brightened Ciel's eye again. "Well, as far as I have seen the only clothes both of you have in your possession are those of your uniforms, but if you are to… play the part of a newly-wed couple… in love no less, you have to convince, therefore you cannot go on vacations wearing your uniforms, which means you need normal, casual clothes. I would call Nina to make some pieces but… she would be too much of a trouble at this point; that is why…" He went to his office, opened one drawer and pulled a quite stuffed envelope which he gave to Sebastian. "Here is some money for your shopping; I would not like for you to think of the expenses, what I want from you is buy clothes you would like to see on each other."
"Pardon?" and "What?" were heard from Sebastian and Selina respectively.
"If you are supposed to be a couple in love, that got married, it is only natural for physical appearance, including clothes and accessories, to have played a major role in the attraction between you, therefore you need to wear garments that would be pleasing and appealing to each other's eyes."
"My lord, I could easily create some clothes for Miss Clark and myself…"
"No!" Ciel announced lifting his hand to stop Sebastian. "I want authenticity as much as possible… that goes on how you will act your parts too. Sebastian will book two first class tickets on the train from Paddington to St. Ives. Tomorrow, I will inform the others too… I think that is all for now." He finished and sat back to his office to complete some more work.
The two servants left their master and exited the office. Selina took a few steps and then started pulling the wedding ring from her finger only to find it did not even budge. She pulled harder.
"I apologize, but I must inform you they are normal rings I ordered from a jeweller but somehow enhanced; we will not be able to remove them from our persons, at least until we safely return to the manor. I thought it was a good measure for us to always know where the other is during the investigation." Sebastian informed her.
Selina leaned her back on the wall with a look of desperation in her eyes. "So you turned them into magical tracking devices… Okay, but couldn't you keep them for when we would be on board the train? We still have one week… how am I going to explain this?" She almost whined looking at the silver ring on her finger.
"Explain it to whom? To Bard?" Sebastian's voice was heard deeper, heavier and closer as he slowly approached her.
"And Mey-Rin, and Snake… and Snake's snakes, even to Mr. Tanaka. They all think that our relationship is something more than just professional, their imagination runs wild and they come up with unbelievable stories. They even misinterpreted your distrust towards me." That seemed to make Sebastian pause for a while and the demon looked at her raising one eyebrow questioningly. "You keep watching me at all times and they think you are looking at me with a lover's passion! They practically suspect everything we do and say to each other. Didn't you notice how they giggled when I made that joke about taking me to Hell after the ice-cream cake?"
Sebastian could not help it but laugh lightly as he was towering above her; his left forearm leaning on the wall right above her head, while his right palm resting next to her arm and his face getting closer to Selina's. His eyes felt like burning her skin.
"Then maybe we should confirm their suspicions. Besides, it is only proper for the groom to kiss his bride." Sebastian said and took hold of her chin while lowering his mouth even closer to that of the surprised, wide eyed woman.
However, running footsteps and Snake's voice calling 'Black' and 'Smile's tutor' respectively cut Sebastian off. Snake came and informed them that Mey-Rin was taking down one last curtain from the hallway downstairs and somehow got entangled with it, losing her footing on the ladder and now was literally hanging in the air wrapped in the curtain. To Sebastian's question where the others were, Snake had to say that Bard was experimenting with very unstable explosives; he almost got exploded when he heard Mey-Rin's scream and the clatter of the ladder falling down and now he was trying to remain calm until he finished. Poor Finny and Mr. Tanaka wanted to somehow help Mey-Rin, but she did not let them because it could be too tiring for Mr. Tanaka and Finny might tear apart the curtain.
"Imbeciles!" Two voices said followed by Sebastian and Selina looking at each other meaningfully with a tired look.
"You go to Mey-Rin and I will take care of Bard." Sebastian announced as they were all heading for the stairs.
"Okay, just make some noise as you will be approaching the kitchen. He will get scared and jumpy if he suddenly sees you in front of him." Selina reminded him and both started running to the direction they chose.
Thankfully, nothing bad happened. Mey-Rin was safely untangled from the curtain which came down ready for washing. Bard was forced to stop his experiments before he was through with them and the chemicals were confiscated until he found a less dangerous place to experiment.

The rest of the evening was peaceful and now, close to midnight, Selina was getting ready for bed while thinking of her new mission.
It did not seem very difficult or complicated… Actually, the most difficult and scary – as she had to admit – part was pretending to be in love with and wedded to Sebastian, and of course be persuasive.
She practically wished Sebastian's unexpected, although obviously fake, prudishness – she remembered the day all went for shopping in London, how fast Sebastian protectively covered the earl's visible eye while reprimanding the chef for trying to show the young Earl a magazine of sexy content – would make him forget what he said about the groom kissing the bride, and think that walking arm in arm and looking at each other while smiling would be enough proof that they were in love. Besides, it was the Victorian Era! Etiquette and good manners, even in a couple of high-class servants, were of utmost importance.
The woman shrugged her shoulders as she was thinking and reassuring herself that indeed Sebastian would suffice to these simple, superficial expressions of intimacy, since he found disgusting doing anything further with humans. She sighed relieved… maybe a little disappointed too and fell asleep wondering what the next day would bring.
The Honeymoon Arc! *giggling like a maniac* A demon and a witch on honeymoon! How ironic and ridiculous is that? I love it! *evil laugh*
Now, aside the resort our couple will be visiting, the rest of the places are real. I did an extensive research on popular vacation spots in Victorian era and St. Ives was indeed one and fitted my needs very nicely. Also, I give cookies to whoever can actually pronounce the cove's name... I gave up after a while. :)
Luvvy= an older, slang degrading word for theater actors. Again, I had in mind a Greek word for that notion and I was beyond surprised to find there was something similar in older English and how I could not stop picturing Ciel saying it with an appropriate expression, no less!
I hope you will enjoy this entirely new story as well as the extra world building I did, as in adding the possiblity for ghosts and tweaking a little on the "demons were never humans" if you noticed a little reference there, which I promise it is further explained in next chapters.
I think that's all from me for now! Thank you all and... Till next time! Bye! :D
