Chapter 15: The Tutor, An Angel of the Lord

"And now… the ten fingered monster is coming to… tickle your little white tummies and pink paws. Ha ha ha ha!"

That was what Sebastian heard when he opened the back door of the manor bringing some breakfast for his cats. He was once again surprised to see Selina sitting on the ground, playing with two kitties making them meow in excitement as their mother was resting with her head on Selina's thigh. He knew she too loved these beautiful felines, but did not expect to find her here so early in the morning for a second time.

"Good morning! Why are you up so early?" He asked her as he was kneeling down to place a plate with some pieces of ham and a smaller one with milk for the little ones.

"Actually, I woke up at some point on my own and I knew that if I tried to sleep again, I would fall into a very deep sleep and then be really late." She responded while the tired but hungry cat mother trampled over her to reach the food. At the same time three more cats appeared out of nowhere and the kittens instantly forgot the great ten fingered monster they had to beat as they almost fell, head-first, in the milk and were saved only by the demon's quick reflexes.

They both stayed there for a while watching at the cute, furry animals eating and then starting to fight over what was left. Sebastian had a totally dreamy look on his face and Selina was smiling looking both cats and Sebastian. She still could not believe how a creature like him could soften so much when it came to these fluffy, whimsical animals that could intentionally forget him the next instant.

After a few minutes Sebastian took out his pocket watch, looked at it, sighed and stood up. "I am deeply sorry my dears, but I have to go and start my day, if I want to finish my chores in time and enjoy the rest of the day with my… Selina." He said as he offered his hand and helped her get up.

"I'm sorry?" She said opening her eyes wide, looking at him surprised. His answer was an amused smile and a raised eyebrow. "How… I mean… you always called me with my… surname and I did too."

"Yes, because we have a strictly professional relationship. But since our master asks for authenticity in this mission he assigned us… I do not think that two people in love would call each other so formally, so it is part of our job." Now he was back to his usual cold self, showing her this change was indeed due to their assignment.

"Yes, you are right. It's only logical and we must get used to calling each other with our given names. So… I must call you Mr… Sebastian. No, just Sebastian." She corrected herself as she saw the strict glance, he gave her.

He nodded satisfied and Selina thought she saw a tiny red flame lighting in his eyes as soon as his name left her lips, but then it was gone and he moved to the side to allow her to pass before him, as a perfect gentleman would.

After lunch, Ciel informed the rest of the staff about Sebastian's and Selina's absence next week – to Bard's and Mey-Rin's disappointment, as they both had seen the beautiful ring that suddenly appeared on their friend's finger, but did not dare to ask about it in an effort to respect her wishes – and informed his butler and tutor that he had a lot of paperwork to work on for the rest of the afternoon and evening, so they were free to go to London as soon as Sebastian tidied up everything.

An hour and a half later, Sebastian got out of the carriage that took them to central London and would wait to carry them back along with whatever they would buy. He helped Selina get down and then offered her his arm 'as a husband should'. Selina accepted it and now they were strolling in the streets of London, looking at shop windows in case something caught their eye.

They finally found a shop with both men and women's clothes. Selina was surprised to see she could easily pick clothes for Sebastian; the demon had a perfect body to which any kind of clothes fitted flawlessly and a natural sense of style that helped her greatly. Of course, the ease Sebastian showed on choosing clothes for her was what surprised her more; she felt like he knew exactly the shape of her body and he chose what would not only fit her perfectly but would also emphasize all the right parts in a modest yet alluring way… even if that included she would have to wear a corset again, which she really did not like, but could not say anything against it, since the demon would not hear a word about it.

When they finished from that shop, Selina realized they actually did not need anything else since they also found shoes and anything they needed to match their costumes. However, Sebastian took Selina to a cosmetics' shop, practically ordering her to buy anything she saw fit. Sebastian's attitude and face was so businesslike throughout their shopping and Selina felt he was close to his limits, since he still believed he could work something out much faster, therefore she chose not to spend much time on cosmetics. Her fear of the very common poisons used in the Victorian cosmetics prevented her from doing so, therefore she bought only some necessary things. Despite that, the variety of cosmetics really surprised her, but then being in 1889, one step before the "Naughty Nineties" when Queen Victoria's declaration of makeup as vulgar started to fade in people's mind, meant that cosmetics' industry was just being born.

As they were finally heading to their carriage, their hands full with parcels and paper bags, they heard a female voice with evident joy and excitement calling for Selina. The pair stopped on their tracks, Sebastian looked at Selina questioningly and saw the woman staring at the distance not believing her goggling eyes. He followed her gaze and saw a red headed woman running towards them, her emerald eyes sparkling, and her white face flushed.

"Selina!" She yelled once again as she threw her arms around the speechless blond woman and blew a big kiss on her cheek. "I missed you so much, my dear cousin!" She said in perfect British accent while hugging the other one's free arm.

Selina really could not believe her eyes and for a minute thought she would be torn in two, as she felt both the woman and Sebastian tugging her arms. She managed to resist the woman and loosened her grip.

"Mi-Miranda! What are you doing here?" She finally managed to say. Her eyes darting from the red headed to the demon beside her… who obviously was in a complete foul mood all of a sudden.

"Oh… my master… went on vacations somewhere and gave some time off to the staff too. I remembered, from your letters, that your new master, Earl Phantomhive, lives somewhere outside London, so I came here and started asking about his manor. I wanted to visit and surprise you!" She was so excited, a permanent bright smile on her lips.

"Well, you surprised me… that's for sure." Selina looked at Sebastian again, whose eyes were actually burning with displeasure, conscious of Miranda's lies. "Oh… by the way… you can drop the act, cousin… he knows."

"Is she really your cousin?"

"He knows? Already?"

"Wow, calm down both of you. Get in line to get your answers." Selina said to Sebastian and Miranda looking at her surprised, waiting. "Sebastian, yes, she is really my cousin and yes, she is not human but also not only witch, not anymore. Miranda, yes, he knows. At first because some things on Campania made me lose my composure and I revealed the American part. After that… well, certain events happened, and I could not keep everything a secret."

"Hmm… certain events?" Miranda said as she was literally scanning Sebastian from head to toe with her eyes. "Yes… I can imagine whaaaaa-" She finished almost screaming as Selina removed her boot's heel from her toes. Miranda turned and looked at her plaintively.

"It's the only way to take your mind out of the gutter… always." Selina said serious.

"I guess she too works for the reapers and that is why she can also transcend time." Sebastian said thoughtfully receiving a pained smile from Miranda along with a thumbs up. "Right; that explains some events of inhuman speed… I think we should continue our conversation in our carriage and in the manor, where we will not draw unwanted attention." He continued as his eyes scanned the passing crowd looking at the three people curiously.

"Will master be okay with a stranger's presence there? And you...?" Selina asked.

"I will talk to him, but I think he will also get curious on meeting a cousin of yours, Selina. As for me... the genuine surprise on your face, dear, is enough proof that indeed you had no knowledge of her arrival. Either way, I am not leaving either of you out of my sight." He announced and that meant the end of the discussion for now.

{~}

"What? How could you be so careless? You've never done that before." Miranda exclaimed after Selina told her how exactly it came to happen that Sebastian knew so much about her.

"Well yes, I know I've been careless. I don't know how to explain it, other than I let my guard down since I rarely have to hide what I am from other magical creatures and especially demons… I'm not used to it!"

"We have been hiding our true nature since we were little, what makes it different now?"

"First of all, we were always hiding it from common humans. Second, humans are blind in everything about magic, unless you do something grand right in front of their eyes, while this guy knew right from the start that I wasn't just a human, and the situation on Campania didn't leave me with many choices, other than showing some of my not so human skills. And last but not least, I was told I would have to tell them the truth, at some point, or else they would never trust me… Okay, it happened a little sooner than I expected… my bad."

The carriage was heading home and Sebastian was watching the two witches sitting on the opposite seat, arguing with sparkling eyes and red faces. It was quite entertaining, especially because they both thought they could fool a demon of his level for so long. They were so funny. They both huffed and crossed their arms after a while.

"Alright… If you are that good… what do you know about me?" Miranda asked him with challenge in her eyes.

Sebastian's smirk appeared on his lips and as calm as ever he dumbfounded her. "I sense the same aura as I do with Selina, but it is significantly weaker, therefore I know you are... or at least had been also a natural born witch. However, I cannot sense any human essence any more, even though your conscience struggles to remain close to human and not be totally consumed by the… divine light that has taken the place of your human soul. Lastly, you have this divinity that makes you the complete opposite from me, but it is still so weak… so pathetically weak that I could break you with the tips of my fingers and feast on your spiritual essence." A dark, malicious smirk replaced his previous confident smile. "And finally, I know how Selina appeared to Weston's tea party right on time… divine intervention I presume." His smile got wider revealing more sharp teeth.

Selina looked at him for a minute with big innocent eyes and a similar smile before turning to Miranda. "I told you he is good… Don't even think of touching her, Sebastian!" Back to the demon with fierce warning in her eyes and voice.

Miranda was staring at Sebastian with wide open eyes, while a cold shiver on her spine made her tremble for a moment, before Selina's arms wrap around her protectively, something that made Sebastian chuckle amused.

"Well, I am glad you live up to your reputation… demon." Miranda said a little disparagingly, making obvious she did not like him, his true nature at least.

"Oh, how interesting. Witches of the same family; the one so intolerant towards my kind, the other one… much more understanding… or so she says."

"Oh no, she sure is more tolerant and understanding. Most of the times, she was the one who balanced perfectly on the thin grey line of our kind, out of the three of us, that is." Miranda blurted out only to receive a hard kick on the shin that made her jump in pain. She turned to a frowned Selina while rubbing her pained leg. "Will you stop?"

"Three? How fascinating. Should we expect more visitors, my dear Selina?" Sebastian said hand on his chin looking impressed.

"No! That's all there is." Selina said in a definite manner; she would not say more.

"Oh, he didn't know that. Sorry." Miranda apologized smiling sweetly at her cousin. She remained quiet for a while and then turned to Selina with an overdramatic look in her eyes. "Are you positively sure you saw Grell and Ronald do the 'Jack, I'm flying' thing on board Campania?" Selina nodded while an impish smile found its way to her lips; that made Miranda facepalm herself in desperation.

Selina saw the perplexed look on Sebastian's face and explained. "In our era, cinematography is very much developed, and there is a film about a fictional romance story on board a real ship that... will actually sink in twenty some years from now. There is a scene where the fictional couple stands on the prow of the ship pretending to fly… Miranda loves that film and that scene. On Campania, I saw the two reapers reenacting that scene... for some reason."

"And you told me that to purposely ruin the image in my mind, because you knew that I would not resist picturing Grell as Rose!" Miranda said horrified, pointing an accusatory finger to Selina who nodded with a totally mischievous look in her eyes. "Because you hate everything about the film!"

"Obviously!" She responded struggling not to burst in laughing.

"You… Devil… Imp!" Miranda cried while lightly punching Selina's arm.

"I love you too, cous'!" Selina could not help it any more and started laughing watching her cousin's deep scowl. To their surprise, Sebastian soon followed Selina with a laugh that sounded so genuine and… melodic, to Selina's ears.

{~}

Soon they had reached the manor, right on time for tea and the much-needed break for Ciel. Surprisingly enough, the child did not complain about Miranda's intrusion; he seemed rather curious about the second witch from the future and ordered Sebastian to prepare tea for three as he invited the two women to join him.

As soon as they entered his office, the boy froze on his tracks looking at them with wide eye and a light blush following the paleness that painted his already white face.

"My lord, is everything all right?" Selina asked concerned.

"Y-yes, yes, everything is all right, do not mind me. Welcome, my lady." He said extending his hand and greeting the red headed woman, who was also looking at him with awe and a tender, perhaps even a little sad, look similar to that Selina was giving him from time to time and made him feel… he could not say for certain, but he made sure to hide it well.

They sat down and Sebastian served tea. Ciel kept scanning the newcomer with one bright eye. "So…" He said after a while. "To what do we owe the honour of your visit, Miss Miranda? I guess you too work for the reapers, and you are together in this mission of… assisting me and Sebastian."

"Well yes, more or less. I do work for them and I am part of this mission as Selina's contact with our time, she reports to me about your missions and the issue with Undertaker, but… she hasn't reported anything important for almost a month now."

"We had no news and no missions, I had nothing to report. I guess he got impatient and sent you to check on me." Selina said and seemed really irritated.

"No, actually he, Mr. Spears..." Miranda explained to Ciel "...will be very pissed to hear I am here. I came out of my own accord, because… I was bored and wanted to see you." She smiled again to Selina.

"Oh, how beautiful. Such love between cousins." That was the ironic Sebastian.

"Well, I'm sorry if you have difficulty believing it, demon. We might be cousins, but we are more like sisters, we have grown up together and lived under the same roof until I… had to leave."

Ciel's blush reappeared on his cheeks once he heard the 'sisters' part, but fought it immediately, although it was not quick enough for Sebastian not to notice it. He cleared his throat to compose himself.

"So, you are saying you came here, you literally travelled through time just to visit Miss Selina?"

"Yes… but I am glad I had the chance to meet you too, my lord. I have read and heard so many things about you." Now it was the red headed woman's turn to blush lightly as her eyes were sparkling with admiration for the boy. "It is my honor."

"Th-thank you very much, Miss Miranda. Although, I have not done anything worthy of your admiration, not yet at least; if this feeling of yours derives from your knowledge of my future achievements I would not like to know of them." He said with determination.

"Rest assured, my lord. I had no intention of revealing your future to you or anyone else." Miranda responded in equal manner.

Silence stretched among them for a few moments as the boy Earl crossed his arms on his chest and kept scanning the red headed with his single bright eye. "So, Miss Miranda... From what Sebastian told me during informing me of your arrival, you were a human witch but now you are a... divine being, as he said with noticeable disgust."

Miranda simply nodded. "Yes, my lord. I am, quite literally, the exact opposite of your butler. An angel."

"I see. However, no matter how opposite you are, you must share some physical traits, right? At least, you covering your hands with gloves while indoors lead me to that assumption." He finished and pointed at the woman's hands. "May I see?" Curiosity could not be hidden in his excited, struggling to remain flat and steady, voice.

Miranda nodded and pulled off her dark crimson gloves, revealing snowy white nails and a light blue seal on the back of her left hand. Only hers, looked more like a beautiful flower opening its petals and had different markings and letters than the ones in Sebastian's seal, making the boy understand the full extent of the opposite natures of his demon butler and the angel in front of him. He leaned closer and examined the seal closely.

"I have seen these symbols again." He said pointing.

"You are very observant, young master." Miranda smiled to him. "I believe you have seen Selina's seals already. I am in contract with Ronald Knox, just like Selina's one layer of contract. I assist him in saving souls from demons and escort them to the next level; that is my job. I am an Escort for souls allowed to pass the gates of Heaven."

Ciel nodded and then turned to his butler; the intention to tease slightly tugging the corner of his lips. "We have an angel, a messenger of the God..." Obvious disdain in his voice. "...among us. How come you act so cool? Are you not afraid she might save me?" More disdain.

Sebastian smirked in a similar manner and got ready to respond, Selina also got ready to say something - in defence of her cousin, of course - but Miranda beat them to it.

"I assure, both of you, my orders are exactly the same as Selina's. I have no intention of interfering with your contract, no matter what. Not because I can't or don't want to but because these are not my orders, a concept I believe you can fully understand, demon." She said, having locked eyes with Sebastian. Her hands raised in a surrendering posture, emphasising her honesty.

"She is telling the truth. Sebastian, please!" Selina pleaded, seeing the expected distrust in his reddening eyes.

"And since you guarantee for her, dear Selina, am I to trust my ultimate enemy blindly?" He said mockingly but absolutely seriously.

"None of these matter, anyway. Miss Miranda will soon depart for her era and that will be all." Ciel gestured deeming the worries of his demon insignificant. "You have given me some answers, the most important ones, concerning your nature and mission here, Miss Miranda. However, I am beginning to have more questions about you, Miss Selina, and… the people surrounding you." He did his best to cover curiosity with cautiousness. "Having two witches from the future in front of me would be an excellent chance for getting the answers I want, but I am too tired to talk with you now. We shall speak at some point after your return from your mission." He announced.

"Mission? What mission?" Miranda asked her cousin.

"She has not informed you yet? What a pity." Sebastian said pretending to be sorry about that. He received a glare from Selina.

"I would, tonight." She said.

"You see, Miss Miranda, Selina and I will depart for St. Ives in a week, where we will be investigating the disappearances of some newly-wed couples on their honeymoon. Of course, in order to infiltrate, we will have to pretend to be a couple." The demon said and his eyes revealed how ready he was to enjoy the new witch's discomfort and disgust upon hearing that. However, he was greatly disappointed and surprised to see that the woman did not even pay attention to the last bit, since she was looking at Ciel with worry in her eyes.

"My lord! If both Selina and the demon are away, who will protect you if need arises?"

"We asked the same thing and our lord says he will be fine with Bard, Mey-Rin and Finny. They have some extraordinary abilities in fighting and are completely able to protect the place here!" Selina informed her excited.

"I know; they killed the members of the circus that came here." Miranda said, her voice in an all business tone.

"You knew? Why was I not told what to expect… again?" Selina was suddenly angry.

"I am not responsible about the pieces of information they decide to give you, and I am not allowed to disclose all I know to you. Besides, you know what young master and the demon said to Joker exactly for this issue. Don't you remember?"

"Well yes, but… I thought they were indeed bluffing! That Sebastian would have taken care of them… somehow." Selina said trying to hide her embarrassment.

"You flatter me, Selina, but even I cannot be in two places at the same time. You know that." Sebastian said looking at her quite alluringly and making her slightly blush.

"I know it now. Not then, when I learned our master's past."

Miranda sighed. "Anyway, the important thing is that Earl Phantomhive must not be without some protection, other than the humans and Selina's protection spells. Don't get me wrong, they're quite powerful against humans, demons and many supernatural entities, but when it comes to Undertaker, we don't know the full extension of his power."

"That is true, taking in consideration how perfectly he masked his nature from me for three years." Sebastian agreed thoughtfully. "And… to be honest, even I would feel better if I knew that young master would have someone able to protect him by his side."

Ciel sighed obviously annoyed by how the discussion was progressing. "I find all this quite unnecessary but… how do you suggest protecting me for a week, Miss Miranda?"

"Well… since only we who are present know about your situation in depth… I think I could be the one staying here for a week while you two will be away."

"Awesome!" Selina cried enthusiastically.

"Absolutely not!" Sebastian said; face darkening, eyes flashing bloody red and aura getting so strong and oppressive. It was more than obvious how displeased he was at the thought of his young master being alone with a divine creature.

The angel's face turned paler than paper, twisting in pain, her hands clutching her chest as small, painful whimpers escaped her lips and her whole body shuddered as it fell back in the armchair she occupied.

"Sebastian, back off, now! Don't force me to do what I don't want to!" Selina's growl was heard with panic and threat in it as she sprung up from her seat.

Ciel's already goggled eye at the sight of Sebastian's effect on Miranda, opened even more seeing the threat in the blond witch's eyes, as well as her body posture, clearly sending the message of attacking the demon if he did not retreat. The young Earl blinked, unsure of whether he saw tiny blue lights, like flames, flickering at the woman's fingertips or if it was a trick the demon's aura caused. But he did not have time to look more closely; the last thing he needed was an obviously quite strong witch killing his demon - something she herself had claimed within her powers and at the moment she seemed to greatly struggle to resist the urge - simply because the stupid demon did not like the angel present.

"Sebastian, stop and pull yourself together. It is an order!" The boy yelled at him and standing up, pulled with determination at his butler's tie, forcing him to release the suffering angel from his blazing stare. "I have given you an order not to harm Miss Selina, I did not mean only physical harm, but mental too. What use she will be to me if broken and rampaging?"

As soon as the demon turned his eyes to the boy and pulled his aura back inside him, Miranda let out a relieved sigh and stopped shuddering and grimacing in pain. She took a few breaths to steady herself and reassure Selina - who instantly calmed down considerably, but frantically started fussing about how the angel felt - that she would be alright in a minute.

"I know, my lord, and I have no intention of disobeying you, but do you expect me to be filled with joy at the idea of you staying alone with an angel, a creature literally made to fight demons and save souls?" The demon's face was cold and emotionless but his eyes still burned furiously.

"But she will not save mine! I do not ask you to rely on her words... they could be as treacherous as yours. Angels or demons are one and the same, as far as I am concerned. Angels and their God turned deaf when I needed them and you assist me only for the sake of your stomach!" The fragile body of the young boy was shaking with anger at the memories that sprung in his mind, but as a true lord, he composed himself pretty quickly, released Sebastian's tie and returned to his seat. "I will never be swayed by any sweet words and promises of Heaven and salvation. I do not need salvation, only to crush those who harmed me. Rely on that!" His tone was stone cold and final, stating he would not accept any other excuses from the demon.

Sebastian could not help himself and smirked quite satisfied. Pleased that his cultivation of the boy's deep rooted hate was successful so far, and that he really could crush the so weak angel without even lifting a finger, he straightened his tie and composed himself. Miranda had also recovered, back into her annoyingly bright self, and Selina seemed to be deep in thought.

For some reason, Sebastian was certain she was berating herself for allowing to take things so lightly and get excited at Miranda's suggestion. It was absolutely logical and expected for Sebastian to feel threatened - she would too, in his place - but it slipped from her mind at that moment. He gifted Selina one of his most charming smiles, as soon as she turned her eyes on him, silently warning him not to try anything against Miranda again or else... Sebastian was delighted by how wild in a cute way she looked, exactly like a kitten!

"You are correct, my lord." Miranda was heard calmly. "We... the 'good guys' of the supernatural plane, have lost all rights on your soul. We are unworthy of claiming we can save you, because we turned deaf when you needed us the most, exactly as you said. I may not have been around at that time, but I take upon me my kind's responsibility. That is why, I offer myself to you, to use me as your pawn, however you see fit." She bowed her head to the child.

"I believe my pawns are quite sufficient, I do not need more, and certainly not an angel. However, only a fool would pass by such an offer and knowing how worried Miss Selina gets when it comes to my safety, a thought I do not want to distract her from the mission... I accept. We will tell the others she is your cousin, Miss Selina, and pretend she indeed has a week free from her master and offered to help, since both of you will be gone. Miss Miranda, you will be here in five days so that you will have time to learn the ways of this household. Sebastian, you shall swallow up your disgust about her nature, and will work with her, teaching all she must know. That is also an order!"

"Yes, my lord!" Sebastian said and bowed to the boy, forced to comply. "However, allow me to express my doubts on Miss Miranda's ability to sufficiently protect you. She obviously belongs to the lowest level of angel, since we all saw how she got affected by only a little of my power. How will she be able to defend you against Undertaker?" He left it unsaid but it was obvious he thought she would not stand a chance, since he himself had found quite a challenge in the renegade reaper.

"Does your current mission seem to have anything to do with Undertaker and his dolls?" Miranda asked.

"Not really, unless we stumble on another crazy scientist of his, obsessed with brutally murdering newly-weds." Selina responded, curious about what Miranda was thinking.

"In that case, perhaps you could leave behind your scythe blades... or at least one." The two cousins exchanged a glance that said everything words should not say. "In case of an Undertaker attack, if everything else fails us, I am quite confident I will be able to hold him back for a few minutes. Enough for young master to summon you and for you to grab Selina and zip back."

The way she said "grab Selina" and stared at the demon, as well as the way he returned the stare, made Selina and Ciel think how similar these creatures were, no matter how opposite at the same time. Sebastian nodded, having received and fully understood the angel's message and Miranda responded likewise, also having received and understood the demon's message. Both had something precious to protect, for entirely different reasons, and both had to trust it at the hands of their natural enemy. So deliciously ironic, as Undertaker might had said.

Young master's commanding voice broke the tension stretching between the two glaring supernaturals. "As I said, I want nothing to do with angels. I will tolerate you for now, but as soon as Sebastian and Miss Selina return, you will leave. I am not forbidding you from coming here again, but it will be only for a short time, only to visit your cousin. And that is the end of the discussion." He said so seriously that even the angel felt the need to comply without a word.

{~}

That night, while Ciel was getting ready for bed, he could easily see the bad mood of his butler mirrored in his red-brown eyes and slightly frowned eyebrows. Ciel sighed annoyed.

"I hope you are not still mopping about me being left alone with an angel for a week. You always accuse me of worrying for everything, but look who is the worrywart now." The boy chuckled mockingly, only to receive a glare from his demon.

"Pardon me, my lord, for not being thrilled by having two witches with us, who normally work with grim reapers on saving souls from demons. It is hard to believe this time they will stand by watching, when the time comes for our contract to be fulfilled... especially when the one is also an angel." Sebastian said, pulling down the covers for his master to climb in the bed.

"You are right, but on the other hand… If that is the order they have? How can you deny that? As for the angel part, I have nothing more to add. I meant everything I said earlier and whether you want to believe my words or not is your problem, I could not care less. I have no intention of going to Heaven, what so ever." The boy yawned, getting comfortable in the large, fluffy bed.

Sebastian smoothed the covers and suddenly leaned close to his master's face, his fingers squeezing the boy's soft cheeks, making him look at his red eyes. "Very well. I am glad you consider the situation like this, my lord. I had started to think that these little witches had… enchanted you into fully trusting them, considering how you kept blushing in Miss Miranda's presence, and was concerned that I would have to take immediate measures against them or to… remind you certain things." His voice dark and low, threatening.

"Do not be ridiculous!" Ciel said slapping Sebastian's hand away. "I will never lose sight of my goal or become a toy to any woman's hands, angelic, magical or not... If one of us should be worried about becoming enchanted by a witch, that is you." The boy got back to his mocking tone.

Sebastian straightened his body and looked at his master slightly confused. "What ever do you mean, my lord?"

Ciel smirked. "I may not have experience in that department, but I know that, for some reason, you find Miss Selina rather attractive. Your eyes keep following her movements in a different way than when you were keeping a close eye on her and you get a little distracted when she seems to be in a good mood... I thought you were unaffected by the human female charm." He said with a malicious smile of amusement. "You can do whatever you like with her, I do not care, but be careful not to enrage her to the point she would forfeit her mission and orders to seek revenge from you… I am of the impression she can become a rather formidable enemy and maybe the same goes for her cousin."

Whether Sebastian was surprised or even troubled by his master's observations was not visible on his face. He simply nodded in agreement as he was exiting the room with the candelabra in hand. "As you wish, my lord."

Ciel fell heavy on his pillows. Most of the times Sebastian's insight was extremely convenient as he could easily understand his thoughts and feelings, but not this time.

The boy did not want to admit to the demon or himself, that the image of the blond and the red haired woman together, as well as the sisterly love evident between them, reminded him of two other women, also blond and red haired, that made him feel safe, warm in their welcoming arms and… loved when looking at their smiling, tender eyes. He shook his head sending away these thoughts of weakness. He had lost both of these women and had no need of replacements. He pulled the covers further up to his chin and turned to his side; soon he was sleeping, and, in his dreams, the two pairs of women got intermingled confusing him, but they all gave off the same feeling of really caring for him… and him alone!

Ooooh angels entered the game! Did you guys saw that coming? Yes, I know it's evident in the chapter title, but did you expect something like that?

To be honest, I am not a big fan of the ending of season 1 of the first anime (let's not talk about season 2) but I really liked the theme of angels as a juxstaposition to demons and I liked even more the idea of the lunatic angel but sane demon. It is so ironic that I love it! However, something went wrong on how something so interesting was executed, in my opinion...

Anyway, I was interested in showing angels but from a different perspective, instead of just angel vs demon. You will see what I mean later on! ;P

Till next time! Bye!
