Opening File: The Cluster

At some point during the Rebellion, Homeworld Gems no longer saw Earth as a viable colony. Instead of exploiting the planet for its resources like originally intended, Homeworld Gems planned on planting a geo-weapon inside Earth itself with the intent of destroying the planet and any remnants of the Crystal Gems. The shards of fallen Gems from the ongoing war were collected by Homeworld Gems and experimented upon, forcibly fusing the shards together into Cluster Gems. Once enough experimentation was completed, Homeworld Gems fused together millions of Gem shards.

This massive assortment of Gems was then planted into the Earth's mantle at the Beta Kindergarten. When this beast, known as the Cluster, takes on its physical form, it will be much bigger than the Earth itself, completely ripping the planet apart inside-out. Homeworld can then use the Cluster as a weapon to destroy other worlds.

"Since the beginning of time man has forged weapons as a means of defense and then to conquer. From swords and spears to bullets and missiles. It is only a matter of time before we reach the point where we can create the Ultimate Weapon. The kind of weapon you'd have to be insane to use but that's not very these days." TOM remarked as the file closed. "What happens that day? Will we find reason and move our hand away from the trigger? Or in the words of J. Robert Oppenheimer: become Death, the destroyer of worlds?"

"Unbelievable! The sock head found that Sixer's secret weapon!" Klarion threw the popcorn away. "Unbelievable!"

"Relax, Klary." Bill replied. "I got this covered. I knew when Sixer made that walking armory I'd need something of my own to stop it and that's where Stripey comes in."

"You mean…" Klarion grinned. "Oooooh, that is good."

"I know, right?" Bill chuckled. "As for the downed geniuses I guess I'll have to have Preston clean out the place and get them out of there before they come to. I was hoping to get the portal online as quick as possible but I think I'll need to make things simple."

"And how will you do that?" Klarion asked.

"First off, I'll…Wait." Bill narrowed his eye and conjured a chess board. "Something's not right."

On the board were chess pieces resembling almost everyone in Gravity Falls and the geniuses brought into the context Bill had set up. There was a burst of fire and another chess piece appeared in the exact middle.

"We have another player on the board." Bill groaned. "Just when things were going my way something else comes along and mucks it up."

"Who is it?" Klarion asked.

"By the looks of it, it's one of those goodie Magical High Commission orderlies." Bill answered.

Now Klarion was groaning. "Those stiffs? They're even worse than Nabu!"

"Tell me about it. It's the one that looks like a vampire prom queen." Bill said, staring down at the piece. "Hekapoo."

"The Forger of Dimensional Travel." Klarion grunted. "Must be that portal causing dimensional trouble to get her attention."

"I'm all for causing problems but it's too soon to be dealing with the likes of her." Bill rubbed his chin. "Gideon won't last half a second with her if she shows up at the Mystery Shack. I need to lure her away."

That was when a light bulb appeared above Bill's triangular shaped body/head as he snapped his fingers. "That's it! We got the zombie!"

"The zombie? The magical zombie?" Klarion questioned. "He's good, might keep her away for a bit. He's as much a master of the mystic arts as a few annoying mortals back on my world but he won't keep her away for long. A member of the Magical High Commission is as much a Lord of Order as you are a Lord of Chaos. Hekapoo will eventually beat him."

"True and I can't send any of my last meat bags against her with the portal still offline." Bill conceded. "Between her and Sixer's wind-up toy I got a pretty full plate here. How's things on your end?"

"The happy couple should be old and miserable by now." Klarion answered with a satisfied grin. "No matter whom dies first, little Nyx-y will be Lady of Chaos and her fat love will be dust in a world of pillows."

"You are one mean brat, Klarion." Bill said and laughed. "I LOVE IT!"

"Why thank you!"

"Still, we need that Lady of Chaos train rolling soon. If zombie boy can't hold scissor hands for very long and Stripey doesn't get her butt in gear fast enough we'll be on the losing side here." Bill stated. "And when Pinky's Yes Girl tells them about me they'll put the pieces together."

"Sending more heroes your way." Klarion predicted.

"So we need to keep them off balance." Bill said, conjuring the flaming images of the Blind Eye members who had been captured by the Justice Friends. "Tempting…but no." He then conjured an image of Vlad Master. "He might do."

"And what will water boy do? Bring on the rain?" Klarion asked.

"Oh…Yes he will." Bill snickered. "Yes he will."

"It's a giant artificial fusion that Homeworld must have made during the Rebellion. They collected millions of shards and fused them together much like the ones we found in the Kindergarten when we cornered Peridot."

After the brief reunion of the Crystal Gems Major Glory had the new visitors, specifically Peridot and the human girl with her moved to an interrogation room.

"After it was ready Homeworld called its armies back and unleashed their blast to finish us off, saving the Earth for later." Pearl finished, staring at Peridot and Connie through the one way mirror. "Peridot mentioned that Yellow Diamond was the one who ordered its creation."

Garnet was silent as she heard Pearl's story while Steven stared at the two prisoners.

"Peridot was sent to check on the Cluster's progress when we got in the way." Pearl said, glancing over at Garnet. "It must have started half a way through the war. Using shards from their own soldiers and from our own comrades that were shattered."

"This is what Homeworld thinks of fusion." Garnet said darkly, causing Pearl to flinch. "This abomination, it's their revenge for the Rebellion. We have to stop it."

"We might have a way." Major Glory said from behind them. "I suggest you speak with DexLabs. They have the knowledge and the resources to build something to reach this…Cluster."

"What about Peridot and the girl?" Steven asked.

"Hm…Unless you have better suggestion they can either stay here or convince them to help us stop this Cluster." Major Glory suggested.

"No." Garnet turned away. "We will do this on our own."

Steven and Pearl watched as Garnet marched out of the room, sharing looks of concern.

"I really should talk to her." Pearl sighed finally before remembering something else. "Say, where's Amethyst?"

"I think she's in Asgard." Steven answered and watched as Pearl's face twisted to show absolute shock and fear.

"ASGARD?!"

Garnet entered the holding area of the Hall of Heroes, stopping in front of Jasper's cell and growled when she saw the orange Gem had already regenerated. Her cell was full of dent marks, showing she had tried to escape through brute force but surprisingly the cell had managed to hold. Nearby, Tats, Woodpecker Guy, Sprott and Toby Determined sat in their cells.

Jasper turned around, glaring at the sight of Garnet. "Well, well, look who's here. What do you want?"

"The Cluster." Garnet answered. "You were here for the Cluster."

Jasper scoffed as she turned around. "Officially but I only came back to finish off you wretched rebels. Though I'll admit I was looking forward to seeing this worthless shell of a planet turn to dust by Yellow's new pet."

Garnet slammed her fist into the wall next to the cell. "How dare you and the rest of Homeworld treat them like this?! How dare you treat fusion like this?!"

Jasper threw her head back and laughed. "And what's got you all twisted up, fusion? Took a second to realize what an abomination you are?"

"We are no abomination! I am the ultimate expression of love between two Gems! Their love is what makes me feel whole!" Garnet growled.

Jasper scoffed in pure disgust. "You're a sick and twisted form, disgracing the two forms of the Gems you were made from. Fusion is simply a weapon to make weak Gems stronger. It has nothing to do with love." Jasper spat at the floor. "You don't even know the meaning of love. What would a pair of cowardly traitors know about love?"

"A LOT MORE THAN YOU!" Garnet shouted, her 'Ruby' side showing. "You and Homeworld are nothing than a bunch of shatterers who hate love!"

Jasper narrowed her eyes. "We're the shatterers? That's rich coming from a pawn of that coward Rose Quartz! She started the war, she shattered thousands of loyal Gems and she shattered my Diamond! You traitors go against everything true Gems live for and are made to do."

She was so angry she did not notice the ring of black light form around her.

"You self-absorbed cowards took away my planet! My court! My colony! All of it just to satisfy your own selfish needs!" Jasper bellowed as the black light split into two rings, traveling to her head and feet.

Garnet gasped Jasper literally transformed before her very eyes.

"YOU CLAIM TO KNOW MORE ABOUT LOVE WHEN ALL YOU HAVE DONE IS MURDER AND DESTROY EVERYTHING I LIVE FOR!?" Jasper shouted, her voice releasing a powerful blast that shattered the energy wall keeping her confined and sent Garnet crashing into the wall. "…What the?"

She looked down at herself and noticed she had completely changed. Her skin turned a shade of blue; her teeth gaining pointed fangs, her hair turned black while her body suit became white, consisting of white trousers and a white long-sleeved shirt covered in black gloves. Her shirt is connected via a black belt and stems up to her neck. There was a black collar on her shirt and she wore black boots.

Finally, she accessorized with a high collar cape connected around her neck that had a white exterior and a red interior lining.

"What has happened to me?" Jasper wondered as everything around her turned grey and froze. "Now what?"

"Well, well, well." In a flash of blue fire, Bill Cipher appeared in front of the altered Gem. "I see you noticed my gift to you. If you thought you were bad before, Stripey wait till you see what you can do now."

"What did you do to me? I look like that…human with the strange powers!" Jasper realized.

"Yep, I did a little switcher-o." Bill chuckled. "And gave his powers to you. You remember how strong you were with those powers when you all meshed up with him and Tear Drop? Well, now you got the full package with none of the dead weight. You're probably more powerful than the rest of the walking shards you want to smash. So, why not give it a test drive?"

Jasper held up her hand, gathering purple energy into it…and grinned as her now red eyes glowed malevolently. "Yeah…I want to test them out."

"Then let's get back to the show." Bill laughed as vanished into blue fire and Jasper returned to the waking world.

Just as Garnet got back up she had time to see a flash of purple…

"A human picked up the hammer of Thor?!"

What had everyone been doing while Pearl was gone?!

Steven hanging out with the Justice Friends.

Amethyst in Asgard.

And now she hears a human had gained the power of the very Asgardian God who had fought Yellow Diamond herself?!

Did everyone go crazy while she was gone?

"And that's not that craziest. Lapis has been-"

BOOM!

The building suddenly shock from what sounded like an explosion.

"What in the stars was that?" Pearl asked, steadying herself.

Garnet was blasted through several walls, slamming into a wall of pure steel before she slid down to the ground with a loud grunt. She had landed in what appeared to be an underground hangar, complete with an advanced looking airship.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!"

Garnet looked up, watching as Jasper hovered through the holes that she had blasted her through and landed right in front of the fusion.

"Just when I thought things couldn't get any better for me." Jasper held up a purple glowing hand. "That triangle really knew how to deliver."

"Triangle?" Garnet whispered in confusion.

"Now I am going to play with you for a little bit before I tear you apart, Gem by Gem." Jasper clenched that glowing hand into a fist. "Then I'll hunt down the defective Pearl, the puny runt and I'll save Rose Quartz for last."

"You won't touch him!" Garnet shouted, charging at Jasper and raised her fist.

However when she sent her fist forward she passed right though Jasper who became transparent. Garnet tripped and fell face first onto the floor. Jasper laughed as she turned around, becoming solid again and grabbed Garnet by the foot.

"Come on. I'm just getting started." Jasper said as she picked Garnet up and slammed her back down onto the floor

SLAM!

SLAM!

SLAM!

SLAM!

Jasper finally released Garnet by flinging her back into the wall, hard enough she left a large dent on impact. "You are pathetic. To think I ever lost to pair of Gems leeching off each other for self-worth. I've met Pebbles with better stones than you."

Garnet was in rough shape as she staggered to her feet, glowing through her cracked visors. "What have you done?"

"This?" Jasper smirked as she looked down at herself. "Well, there is one benefit on this planet. It knows how to make real Gems stronger. When I am done with you I'll see if I can share this power with rest of Homeworld. We'll be the strongest in the entire universe." Jasper held up a fist and clenched. "No one will ever stand in our way. Not you, not Rose, NO ONE!"

"GARNET!"

Jasper turned around, grinning as Steven, Pearl along with Major Glory, Capital G and White Tiger run into the hangar. "Rose, just who I was hoping to see."

"Jasper!?" Pearl pulled out her spear. "What happened to you?!"

"I got an upgrade, one that doesn't need the likes of fusion." Jasper chuckled, looking at Steven. "So, Rose. Ready to carry on where we left of?"

Steven trembled slightly but summoned his shield. "We don't want to fight you."

"No." Jasper's grin widened. "You really don't."

She fired a purple beam of light that impacted the shield with such force it sent Steven flying back, hitting the wall behind him.

"GAH!" Steven cried out upon hitting the wall.

"STEVEN!" Pearl cried out.

Garnet roared and lunged at Jasper who flew up, jumping over the fusion and blasted her in the back.

Jasper cackled as Garnet hit the floor with a scorch mark smoking on her back. "Oh, this is too easy! I almost actually feel sorry for you!"

"That's enough!" Major Glory stepped forward, glaring up at the ghostly Gem. "Stand down now!"

Jasper just looked back with a patronizing look. "And who are you supposed to be, human?"

"The one who will end this fight." Major Glory answered.

Jasper simply laughed. "And what can a human like you do? I am the Ultimate Quartz with new powers that makes me more powerful than any other Gem on this entire planet." She held up her hands and laughed as she started to gather ecto-energy both of them.

However just before she could anything else she felt a hand roughly grab her by the wrist and she looked up, eyes widening to see Major Glory hovering above her. "Wha-"

"It's not gentlemanly to hit a lady." Major Glory admitted as he inhaled. "So this will do."

He blew, releasing a powerful gust that blasted Jasper back, sending her crashing into the wall, leaving an even larger dent mark than the one Garnet had made. She fell down to the floor, grunting but growled as she slowly stood back up.

"How?! I just beat the fusion! Nothing should harm me now!" Jasper slammed a fist into the ground.

"It is over. Surrender peacefully and you will be treated with mercy." Major Glory landed back on the floor. "There is no need to fight anymore."

"No need to fight?" Jasper growled. "Fighting is what I do. It is what I was made for. And I will never stop."

Jasper turned intangible and sank down into the floor.

Major Glory sighed. "It never seems to stop."

"Should we even go after her?" Capital G asked.

"I have a feeling she is long gone by now. I think we have other issues to deal with." Major Glory replied, looking at the Gems and Steven.

"See your point."

Xxx

"Unbelievable! What's the point of having all these powers if I am beaten by a single human?!"

'You get what you pay for, honey!'

Jasper, having flown so deep she emerged into a dark cavern underneath the city, grunted as Bill Cipher appeared before her again. "What do you want?"

'Is that any way to thank me for your new powers?' Bill asked, sounding genuinely hurt.

"Ha! They didn't do much good when a single human bested me!" Jasper growled. "How can these powers be useful if some worthless organic can defeat me?"

'Relax, Stripey. You still need to get used to your new powers. What you went through earlier is only a taste of what you can do. You need to remember what it was like as Malachite Plasmius.' Bill advised.

"Malachite…Plasmius?" Jasper slowly repeated, looking back down at herself in her ghost form. "That power…"

'And I know the perfect way to learn how control these powers quickly and to the point no one will stop you.' Bill continued. 'Just do me a favor and we can walk, two happy people with a lot of dead bodies left in their wake.'

Jasper scoffed but relented. "All right. Show me."

'First off, let's talk about a neat little town…'

Xxx

"So this is where the disturbances are coming from."

Hekapoo was far from impressed by the looks of this normal, mortal town. She just wanted to find the source of the problem and get out of here.

Mortals were lame times a thousand and she couldn't stand sticking around them for too long.

Hekapoo began walking towards the town, honing her senses to try and pick up the source of the disturbance. Just as stepped passed the sign saying 'Welcome to Gravity Falls' she stopped and watched as a rotting blue skinned hand sprouted from the ground. That hand was followed by an arm and then an entire body.

"A zombie? Really?" Hekapoo groaned.

The zombie was none other than Abracadaver raised its hand and fired a blast of blue magic at Hekapoo who swiftly dodged, jumping out of the way to the right.

Narrowing her eyes Hekapoo pulled out a pair of scissor blades. "Big mistake there, you pile of rotting flesh."

She charged at the zombie, slashing at her foe. Abracadaver conjured a shield of magic that blocked the scissor blades from touching him. It then conjured several magical blasts and fired them at Hekapoo who slashed her scissor blades to create a portal that she slipped through before she was hit. She emerged from another portal a yard away, landing on her feet and glared at the zombie.

Abracadaver used his magic to lift large pieces of earth out of the ground and threw them at Hekapoo who immediately sliced them in half with her scissor blades.

"Is that it?" Hekapoo chuckled as the burnt pieces of dirt fell to the ground around her. "You want to fight dirty huh? Okay then."

Just as Abracadaver fired another magical blast Hekapoo slashed her blades to create another portal that swallowed the blast. Another portal appeared behind the zombie and his own attack came out and hit him in the back.

"Don't move." Hekapoo said with a grin.

She then slashed her blades around her, creating multiple portals followed by punches and kicks that came out and hit the magical zombie himself on the other side. Her attacks burned through the zombie's rotting skin and he groaned seemingly in pain from each hit.

Hekapoo then finished with a kick that literally knocked the zombie's head clear off his shoulders. The zombie's head rolled across the ground as his body collapsed.

"Too easy." Hekapoo said as she turned around to continue her journey.

However Abracadaver's eyes opened and glowed bright red as his head floated up and reconnected with his body.
