(Waste My Time by State of Mind Starts to play)
The Elemental symbol and the Diamond Authority symbol appear next to each other, coming together…
(Take my breath away)
And then shattering into a dozen multi colored pieces, highlighting the title as it appears:
GRIMMFALL
(Forever on my mind)
Omnimon, better known as the Grimmslayer walks across a desolate land and looks up to the sky.
(And yet still so hard to find)
Wallabee Beatles and his Uncle Lou enter a dark forest as glowing red eyes surround them.
(The reasons that I hold you)
Blue Diamond then appears on the right side of the screen, kneeling and crying.
(So deep and close inside)
Yellow Diamond appears on the left side, her back facing Blue and she looks down as she grits her teeth and a hand over chest that clenches into a fist.
(A link to premonitions and shadows on my stage)
White Diamond appears above them, looking as serene as ever as the camera zooms out, coming out of the gemstone on the stomach of Steven Universe who opens his eyes and faces a giant purple skinned gem staring at him with angered eyes.
(The curtains up)
A table is shown with the symbol of the Justice Friends on it.
(The show must start)
It then changes into the symbol on the Omnitrix that zooms out, showing a captive Ben Tennyson as Vilgax leers down at him.
(You take my breath away)
Vilgax's eyes glow red and there is a burst of fire.
(Who are you to tell me)
Julie Yamamoto is standing in a circle of fire, a look of fear and desperation on her face.
(That we're not living in our dreams?)
Two feline like shadows fall down from above, landing on behind her and grab her.
(We're cast aside)
Julie cries out as Sammael steps out of the fire.
(Were torn apart)
Sammael holds out his hand to Julie before fire engulfs them both.
(We are left for in between)
The scene changes, showing the Mystery Shack in Gravity Falls with Stan Pines facing Double D in the armor of Armatae as they turn to the interdimensional portal.
(Everyone is leaving)
Wendy is seen, standing before a large hulking man brandishing two axes.
(There is nothing left to find)
The eyes of Pacifica Northwest open as he stares down at the knocked out Dexter O'Reilly and turns away as Pacifica Northwest steps forward.
(All I wanted to see was just a waste of my time)
Her hand reaches out, engulfing the screen.
(Just a waste of my time)
A disappointed Dexter is seen leaving with his grandfather for the airport.
(And I never wanted to believe)
Suddenly all of Gravity Falls experiences strange tremors.
(You could be so dishonest)
Betty Gilligan screams out as she runs to the interdimensional portal while Dipper is struggling with Stan Pines.
(And I never wanted to think)
Mabel hovers above the switch and looks into Stan's sad and desperate eyes.
(That you could be the death of all of us)
The portal activates and releases a blinding shockwave.
(You were the death of us)
Professor Pericles appears with his eyes closed while the shadows of Bill Cipher and Klarion appear above him, sharing a toast.
(And I never wanted to believe)
The purple Gem, Bismuth stares in despair at the former Gem battlefield in front of her.
(You could be so dishonest)
Jasper in her ghost form hovers above Gravity Falls.
(And I never wanted to think that)
The apprentice of Van Rook takes off his mask to face Erika Ahlberg.
(You could be just a waste of my time)
Who then proceeds to punch him in the face.
(The death of all of us)
The title appears again as the song ends and shows a strawberry field.

Opening File: Doyle Blackwell
Doyle Blackwell is the long last brother of Drew Saturday who was separated from her in a storm during their camping in the Himalayas. During the night, the camp was destroyed, presumably by a snow storm. Drew was blown away in a tent by its arrival and was unable to see it. Doyle remembered watching his parents getting attacked by the beast and tried to help but he was knocked away down the slope to a village and ended up in a village at the bottom of the mountain.
He was found by a traveler from the lost islands of Berk in the far north who took him there when he could not find the boy's parents and refused to let him stay in an orphanage. The boy only remembered his first name: Doyle and was raised alongside the traveler's daughter Erika Ahlberg. The two instantly bonded and connected with each other, growing up together in the islands, training and studying about many creatures and dragons, along the Grimm to face. When Erika was told about the hammer of the fallen god of thunder Thor and his hammer would choose someone worthy to be his successor and be the next god she shared this story with Doyle who commented maybe he would become the next Thor.
Erika was so amused that she joked about how her friend would make her his queen if he was chosen. After reaching her young adult years, Erika wanted to explore the world building up an airship of her own as Doyle did the same, promising to keep in contact with her and the tribe if anything happened.

Opening File: Erika Ahlberg
Brought up in the lost islands of Berk, Erika wanted to follow her family's footsteps as a warrior and inherited her cultural heritage, knowing about the dragons that actually survived and long thought to be legends to the world and knowing the dragons are one of the few species who can stop the Grimm since the Battle of Berk. When she was a young girl, her father returned from his voyage on his dragon, returned with an unconscious young boy who was presumably the only survivor of an avalanche, decided to bring back with him she instantly bonded with the boy. Both Erika and Doyle grew up together in the islands, training and studying about many creatures and dragons, along the Grimm to face. She met and fought a bandit from the Northern islands named Bertha.
She was told about the hammer of the fallen god of thunder Thor and his hammer would choose someone worthy to be his successor and be the next god. She even joked about how her friend would make her his queen if he was chosen. After reaching her young adult years, Erika wanted to explore the world building up an airship of her own as Doyle did the same, promising to keep in contact with her and the tribe of anything that happens.

Opening File: Abigail Lincoln
Abigail Lincoln, commonly known as Abby is the current Candy Elemental, the younger sister of Cree Lincoln and the surrogate daughter of Monty and Jennifer Uno. When Abby was a little girl her parents were killed by the followers of Sammael and she only survived thanks to her older sister Cree. Her sister would then leave her in the care of the Uno family for reasons yet to be determined but thankfully Monty and Jennifer Uno took her in without hesitation. It was there that Abby would meet her first friend out of the Twisted Forest her family live in and possibly her first human friend: Nigel Uno.
Abigail Lincoln found her stay with the Uno family to be much better then she thought. The Uno family had been nothing but kind to her since her elder sister left her with them, even when she revealed herself to be a Faunus. She had been brought up in the middle of the feud between Humans and Faunus when her elder brother spread the views about Satyra, the group of Faunus extremists that used violence to try and force their views on other. By nearly a year the Unos had considered Abby to be part of the family.
Mr. Uno often tried to persuade her and Nigel to join him in fishing and music even though Nigel hated the sousaphone that his father enjoyed playing but they both had fun playing the crossword puzzle with Mr. Uno together on the morning newspaper. Nigel's mother was actually a college professor who read many books with Nigel and Abby and preferred the piano which was kind of a step up but Nigel and Abby had preferred the kind of instruments that kids liked to play. Nigel displayed a surprise skill with wood working and once carved a small wooden chest for her that he made with his uncle to keep candy inside, a gift she kept next to her bed all the time. Nigel was like a puzzle to her sometimes, which is probably why she liked to spend time with him, to try and figure out what was going on in his head.
They have been close friends since the day they met with Abby being a little protective of him ever since he saved her from a Grimm attack in the park with the use of his Semblance. After discovering Nigel was the Ice Elemental Abby taught him how to keep his powers from being sensed by the Fallen. Both agreed to become professional Hunters to better protect themselves and each other from the Satyra, Drago and the Fallen.

Opening File: Nigel Uno
Nigel Uno is the son of Monty and Jennifer Uno and the current Ice Elemental. Living in GrimmFall with his family Nigel is best friends with Wallabee Beatles, Hoagie Gilligan and fellow Candy Elemental Abigail Lincoln who was found and taken in by his parents when he was a little boy. Since then they have been close friends with Abby being comfortable enough around him to tell him a bit about her past. Nigel even personally carved a small wooden chest to keep candy inside that she keeps next to her bed.
Nigel would also make friends with Hoagie Gilligan in kindergarten and later saved new student Wallabee Beatles from bullies on his first day of school. The four have since become very close friends, spending time together to watch shows like the Wacky Races in one of their homes or training to together to be Hunters.

Opening File: Nazz
A single daughter of hippy parents and described as a flower child who nearly every kid in the cul-de-sac had a crush on Nazz wanted to try to become a Huntress because she looked up to her grandmother who was a Huntress even though she had a falling out with Nazz's parents. The grandmother considered her son and his wife to be idiots, looking for peace in a world plagued by evil and though Nazz loved her parents dearly she inherited her grandmother's intellect and fierce heart. Nazz took on the training from her good friend Rolf and thus strained her relationship with her childhood friend Kevin who had a strong dislike to hunters. Nazz is the happy beauty of the kids.
She is kind-hearted, sweet-natured, laid-back, and even-tempered, but also has a lot of grit. Though pegged as the 'dumb blonde' type, Nazz is noticeably more mature than the other kids.

"There are many ways people can be brought together such as the first day of school and meeting a new friend or through a tragedy when one loses their family but eventually finds a new one. Even in tragedy a silver lining can be found if one just hopes, believes and struggles to find it. You don't need to let one tragic moment define your entire life. You can use it to make sure history doesn't repeat itself with someone else." TOM remarked as the file closed. "Use that pain to move forward, make it a strength not a weakness and find your place in life."

She thought if she took the blow for everyone it would all be over.
She couldn't have been more wrong.
Not even a few days after word of Pink Diamond's shattering Homeworld mobilized its entire military with White Diamond taking control until Blue and Yellow reformed. What was even stranger was that everyone seemed to think that Rose Quartz had somehow been responsible.
"Yes." Pearl nodded. "They believe you somehow snuck into the Moonbase and used a powerful new weapon to shatter Pink Diamond and force the other Diamonds back into their gemstones. The weapon was so powerful it blasted all three out of the Moonbase and caused them to crash onto Earth."
Rose considered Pearl's report. "This is…surprising. I don't know if Blue or Yellow would have remembered anything from being forced to fuse."
"Homeworld forces retrieved their gemstones and took them back to Homeworld. I am not sure what they might have remembered but if they don't know about what made them fuse then at the very least they don't know about who Rose Quartz really was." Pearl stated. "Still, we have another problem."
"White." Rose nodded. "She's taking over the remains of the colony and she's ordered a complete shattering to anyone suspected of being a traitor. I have never seen her so involved."
"White Diamond has also sent her elite Gems against the Racing Drones, the Grimm and the Asgardians. The good news is that the drones are being pushed back. All reports say that White has been victorious in every conflict with them." Pearl said.
"And the Asgardians have been holding their own, even against White." Rose frowned. "But that won't last for long."
"And that's not even the worst of it." Pearl said. "White knows who you are. She may have been forced back into her gemstone but she probably has reformed by now."
"But for some reason she hasn't told the others yet. She made them all think that Rosr Quartz shattered Pink Diamond." Rose continued, clenching fist. "She knew all along even before the shattering and she never even told Yellow or Blue. She was treating this like it was all a game." Her eyes narrowed and she gritted her teeth. "Is that what this is to her? A game? Does she think I'm playing a game here?"
Pearl wanted to say something but could think of nothing. She knew how White Diamond acted and thought and nothing could say could give any comfort.
"Rose!" Rose and Pearl perked up as Garnet ran into the cave. "We have trouble!"
"What is it?" Rose asked.
"Homeworld has found us." Garnet answered, shaking a bit. "They're sending an entire army to destroy us."
Eyes widening and then narrowing Rose and Pearl stood up, Rose taking charge. "How long do we have?"
"Two minutes, eight seconds."
"Then we better get anyone who cannot fight to the secondary base." Rose summoned her sword.
Xxx
The battle happened sooner than Garnet had predicted.
Homeworld's armies fell upon the Crystal Gems as they fought and retreated. Their allies, the Asgardians fought alongside them and took down many soldiers. However Homeworld had the numbers on their side and they fought with equal ferocity. Quartz and Rubies were made for fighting entire armies while Agates and Hessonites were made for commanding the armies against Homeworld's enemies.
It didn't help that Gem soldiers made on Earth were more powerful than the average Gem.
"RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" A vicious Gem roared out as she blasted through the battlefield.
Rose's eyes widened as she recognized that Gem. "Jasper."
The tall buff Gem was wielding a giant battle axe with her crash helmet on and an aura of fire surrounding her.
Jasper was made from the Beta Kindergarten but she was hailed as the perfect Quartz.
The concentrated Fire Dust that had been in the ground she had been made from was absorbed into her Gem, creating a Gem that so powerful that some considered her to be too dangerous. Luckily Jasper retained her loyalty to Homeworld and to the Diamonds…
And to her beloved Pink Diamond.
Rose raised her shield in time to block Jasper's crash helmet but the sheer strength sent to rebel leader skidding back.
"ROSE!" Pearl screamed and rushed forward.
Utilizing her grace and agility she attacked Jasper who barely batted an eye, easily blocking her strikes and the fire surrounding her easily burned and melted the sword.
"Pathetic!" Jasper spat and kicked Pearl away.
"Jasper stop!" Rose called out, earning the orange Gem's attention. "You don't have to do this! No one has to-"
"SHUT UP!" Jasper shouted, swinging her axe at Rose who quickly blocked with her shield. "DON'T YOU DARE TRY TO CONVERT ME, SHATTERER!"
Rose's eyes widened as she and Jasper clashed with each other but Rose was more defensive, mainly staying out of reach of Jasper's axe.
"Jasper please! There's no point to this!" Rose cried out, parrying several more strikes. "The colony is gone! Pink Diamond is gone! There's nothing left!"
"Nothing but you!" Jasper roared, becoming even angrier with each second. "This started with you and it's going to end with you!"
Pearl was back in the fight, attacking Jasper again but she surprised them both by channeling fire into her axe and swung it, releasing a river of fire that slammed into the two. It was only by Rose's shield that they were not burned alive.
Rose looked up, watching as Jasper stepped through the flames, eyes glaring at her with unending hate. "Jasper, don't. Even if you shatter me it won't take away the pain. Please, let me help you."
"Help? Help? HELP?!" Jasper threw her head back and cackled. "You want to help me? Like you helped when you ruined my life before it even began?! Like you helped when you shattered our beloved Pink Diamond and forced Blue and Yellow Diamonds in their gemstones and left them to rot?! Like when you forced all of us Gems to fight just because you refused to obey your Diamond and went against our Empire?!"
"The Empire is wrong! We are better than it!"
"It would make sense for a selfish coward like you to say that! You, who turned against your own kind! You, who has shattered and made others shatter for you! You, who broke our Order just to play with some stupid flowers and meat bags!" Jasper raged as she raised her axe. "Only someone as selfish as you would ever believe she was better than all of us!"
Just as Jasper was about to swung her axe there was blast of lightning that sent slammed into her chest and sent her flying back. Rose looked up and watched as Thor, Prince of Asgard arrived with reinforcements, ready to face Jasper down.
"We have to hurry and get out of here." Rose stood up, pulling Pearl to her feet.
"Why run?" Jasper laughed as she stood up, grinning madly. "You haven't seen the best part yet."
Just as she finished her sentence there was a burst of yellow lightning that blasted across the field. Rose looked up, eyes widened as two large figures stepped through the smoke. "…Yellow. Blue."
Yellow and Blue Diamond marched out onto the battle field, walking side by side and looking equally furious. In Yellow's hand was a scabbard while in the other hand she held a sword, resembling a Japanese chokuto that she then placed back in the scabbard. Blue Diamond on the other hand summoned a large scythe from her gemstone. The staff was dark blue, matching the color of Blue Diamond's robe while the curved blade seemed to be made of a blue crystalline substance matching the color of Blue Diamond's gemstone with a dark blue gemstone embedded into the blade itself and a white streak traveling down the blade's bottom curved end and another dark blue gemstone at the bottom of the staff connected to the blade.
Rose's eyes widened as she took in the sight. 'They have weapons…I've never seen them with weapons before!'
This was bad.
This was really bad.
"ROSE QUARTZ!" Blue Diamond bellowed. "FOR YOUR CRIMES AGAINST HOMEWORLD! FOR THE SHATTERING OF PINK DIAMOND, WE SENTENCE YOU…"
Yellow Diamond unsheathed her sword and channeled her power into her sword while Blue Diamond did the same with her scythe.
Both swung their weapons, releasing massive arcs of power that carved deep scars into the battlefield, forcing the Crystal Gems and their allies to scatter.
"TO WATCH AS EVERY ONE OF YOUR REBELS IS SHATTERED!" Blue Diamond finished, her and Yellow staring directly at Rose with even greater hate than Jasper. "MAY YOU STARE DOWN AT THE SHARDS AS WE DID WITH PINK'S!"
Rose only had time to blink before the two Diamonds charged into battle, the tide of the war turning again.
Against the Crystal Gems.

"Thrust!"
"Ah!"
"Parry!"
"Ah!"
"Retreat."
They took all took a step back.
"Retreat."
They took another step back.
"Thrust!"
"Ah!"
"All right. Rest cycle for fifteen minutes." The Agate said, clapping her hands.
Nazz sighed, lowering the staff and walked over to the nearby bench with the others. Since being recruited into the Yellow Division it was hours of training and spars in the coliseum and she was really working up a sweat. While she had been abducted against her will along with the others for some alien dictatorship Nazz was brought up to look on the bright side of everything and right now the bright side was that this training was possibly going to come in handy for being a huntress. She was certainly becoming more skilled through the numerous forms of training that was done here.
In addition to learning how to use a staff the members of the Yellow Division were taught all other forms of weapon combat, unarmed combat, espionage, tactics, and geography. It was certainly rough but Nazz couldn't say she was not at least enjoying it until she found a way to escape.
"Rough?"
Nazz looked to the person sitting next to her, a girl dressed in the same green outfit as her. She was in a class of young new recruits so everyone was basically her age which made a little better. She had shoulder length brown dreadlocks and light brown eyes. Her name was L0-NY but her nickname was Lonnie.
"Nothing I can't handle." Nazz shrugged.
"Right." Lonny snorted. "Nothing's too tough for the rookie from Earth."
"Aw, feel a little outclassed." Nazz remarked with a taunting grin.
"Ooooooooh!" The surrounding cadets remarked.
"New girl really talks tough." An alligator Mobian, R-G00 but was nicknamed Roger or Rogelio commented.
"She sure does." The final member of the group remarked. He was a human boy named K-15 but liked to be called Kyle.
They were the first cadets to greet Nazz upon being sorted into the Yellow Division and for the most part they got along great. She and Lonnie earned a small but respective rivalry, often sparing with each other in the coliseum the most but Nazz also did the same with Roger. Kyle on the other hand was more of a mechanic and didn't seem to have the skills for hand to hand, leaving him the bottom of the barrel in the Yellow Division. They were close enough that Nazz actually started to consider them friends but for their sake she never mentioned planning to escape.
She still wasn't sure how they'd react.
"So, what's life like on Earth anyways? We all thought the Grimm wiped out all life long ago, hence why we are all here." Lonnie gestured to their surroundings.
"Ha, well I can tell there wasn't a lack of trying." Nazz sighed, leaning back on the bench. "I mean, we've had to deal with the Grimm for a very long time now and we've only started to get the hang of it. Our homes are always reinforced to keep underground Grimm digging their way into the basement, people are always building better and badder weapons and young kids like me are training to be fighters. It gets a little rough every now and then."
"Ouch." Rogelio commented.
"We learned that the Grimm caused the deaths of thousands of Gems when they came to Earth. That's why they thought everyone left behind were long gone." Kyle said.
"So what will they do now that they know that's not true?" Nazz asked.
"Who knows? We don't ever see Yellow or White Diamond. Blue Diamond only ever comes around to check on us and that's it. We're left to ourselves as long as we don't cause trouble." Lonnie shrugged.
"Still though, I-" Nazz started but was interrupted.
'NA-ZZ.'
Nazz perked up at the mention of her 'name' as a drone hovered before her. "Yeah?"
'U-Twelve wishes to inform you that the Elementals have returned from White Division and are in the waiting room at the Blue Division. You are allowed ten minutes to visit them before returning.' The drone said before leaving.
"Oh…Thanks." Nazz waved the drone goodbye and stood up. "I'll be right back dude. I got to check in on my friends."
"Sure no problem. Just be back in time for sparring." Lonnie smirked. "Unless you're scared to get knocked on your butt again."
"Wouldn't you have had to have actually done that before? When I had you crying on the ground like a toddler?" Nazz retorted playfully and left with a wave. "Don't run off on me, Lonnie."
Xxx
It was easy to find the Blue Division and the waiting room the Elementals were in with their Pearls. When Nazz got there she could see Nigel and Ed sitting on a comfy couch while Abby was at the window.
"Hey dudes." Nazz greeted as she entered. "How's it going?"
"Hi Nazz!" Ed dumbly waved. "We found Kevin! He's a statue!"
Nazz stopped and blinked, looking at Nigel. "A statue?"
"That's the best way to describe it." Nigel shook his head. "Obviously White Diamond is really messed up."
"What happened and where are the others?" Nazz asked.
"We were told they are at the dragon cages." Nigel answered.
"DRAGONS!" Ed exclaimed in pure excitement.
"…So you were the closest one we could find and speak with." Nigel sighed and continued. "How are you holding up?"
"Well, I am pretty much being put through the ropes but I am holding on." Nazz said as she sat down with the two. "Still waiting on how to figure out how we are going to get out of here."
"Us too. Not a whole lot of escape options. After Ed's spar with those Rubies Blue Diamond gave us the day off but we'll have to report to her tomorrow for more training." Nigel continued.
"Like I am going." Abby sulked. "They can just turn me into a statue like that Kevin kid for all I care."
"Abby, you don't mean that." Nigel said, looking at his best friend with a sad look.
Abby turned and glared at Nigel. "Oh but I do. I am sick of this stupid place and the games these Diamonds are playing. Besides they are just going to use us as weapons anyways so there's no point in the training."
"Abby-"
"Forget it. I'm out of here." Abby said before walking out of the room.
"…Your sister really needs to chill." Nazz finally commented.
Nigel looked at Nazz with a confused face. "Sister? Oh, that. She's not my sister."
"I know but your parents adopted her so technically she would be your sister." Nazz reasoned.
"Actually…She was never formally adopted." Nigel hesitantly said.
"Really?" Nazz asked before smiling. "Oh, I get it."
"You do?"
"Yeah. I mean, given the world we live in with the Grimm, evil aliens and all sorts of crazy stuff it's only natural. She's not adopted because your parents hoped you two would get together one day and start a family of your own." Nazz explained with a mischievous smile.
Nigel blushed slightly as Ed giggled a bit now. "N-No, wait! My parents aren't like that!"
"It's nothing to be ashamed about; in fact that's how my parents met. My mom ran away from foster care because her parents were hunters and her mother placed her there to keep her safe. My grandma ended up finding her and taking her in and not long after that she and my dad were attached by the hip. In fact couples are encouraged at the right age because thousands of people die each year and that's just counting the Grimm.
"We live in tough times with wars, disease, and so much more that it's a wonder we've even survived this long. The world could end any day if we're not careful enough. We're not the top of the food chain despite what we tell ourselves and some families will often take in orphans and raise them to one day officially join them through holy matrimony and continue the family line!" Nazz declared dramatically, pumping a fist into the air as she stood up. "Whether we are Hunters or civilians we must all do our jobs to ensure the survival of our race. Hunters will fight the Grimm and the civilians will come together and start the next generation! For the survival of our race, for the future of mankind!"
"For Butter Toast and Gravy!" Ed stood up, punching the air next to Nazz. "Dramatic pose! Let's sing a song!"
Nigel just stared with a red face, realizing that the people he was stuck here with were perhaps insane. "Will you guys cut it out?! My parents already asked Abby if she wanted to be adopted and she said no!"
That seemed to stop the roll Ed and Nazz were on and they both looked down at Nigel with blank looks. "Say what?"
Nigel sighed. "Look, I know some families do that kind of stuff and there's nothing wrong with it. I've seen enough to know that if we're not careful no matter what planet we are on we're pretty much goners. But my parents, even if the idea crossed their minds it wouldn't be the real reason they decided to take Abby in. They took her in simply because she needed help and that's what my parents do and what they taught me to do."
Nazz and Ed sat back down as Nigel continued.
"About a year after she started living with us my parents asked Abby if she wanted to be adopted since it started to look like her sister or anyone she knew wasn't coming for her. But Abby said no, saying she didn't want a new brother or a new mommy or daddy and that she believed her older sister and brother were still out there. My parents respected her choice and never asked her again, telling me to simply be Abby's friend and look out for her." Nigel shrugged and smiled a bit. "But I would have done that even if they hadn't asked."
"Oh, I see now." Nazz chuckled a bit. "Sorry for the reaction. I was reminded a bit too much of how my parents got together. When I was younger I often thought it was kind of romantic, if a bit corny later on."
"I got the idea." Nigel shook his head but kept his smile. "So you parents got together thanks to your grandmother bringing your mom home."
"A little short but that's the gist of it. My mom was put in foster care by her mom who was a Huntress along with her husband and as glorified the life of a Hunter is it's not the best for family. My grandpa was killed and my grandma decided my mom would be better with a foster family, only my mom didn't see it that way. She ran away several times to try and find grandma but gave up when she learned grandma was killed not long after." Nazz explained, looking slightly melancholy now. "After that she was living on the streets until my dad's mom found her and saved her. She met my dad who became her only friend and from then on they grew closer, got married and then I came along. Truth be told I haven't talked with her or my dad for a while now."
"Why not?" Ed asked, having never heard this story before.
"Mom always believed grandma simply abandoned her, deciding being a Huntress was better than being a mother. She looked so betrayed when I decided to follow in grandma and grandpa's footsteps." Nazz answered, slightly sad now. "My parents are hippies, denouncing violence in any form, even if Hunters are protecting them from harm."
"Well, they aren't wrong about violence being wrong but given what me and my friends have been though we wouldn't be alive if we were like your parents." Nigel admitted. "Still, I can't imagine not being on speaking terms with my parents. Mom took it hard when Abby and I decided to become Hunters but she and Dad both promised to support us."
"My Mom's been sad ever since Dad died." Ed remarked. "She's only got a bit better since I saved my sister."
"So in the end, we all have parents who either support us in being hunters, refuse to talk to us or are just too sad." Nazz shook her head, a small tear appearing under her right eye that she quickly wiped away. "Wow we're messed up and we're not even on Earth anymore."
"No, but we'll get back. I promise you." Nigel held his hand to Nazz who stared for a second before she grasped it and shook. "I might not know yet but there is a way. I don't think for a second that we're going to be stuck here the rest of our lives. Not when we have friends and family back on Earth looking for us."
Ed placed his hand on top of Nigel and Nazz's. "We will find a way...For we are Fearless Space Outlaws!"
Nazz laughed a bit, withdrawing her hand. "Ed, you really know how to make me feel better. Okay, so now we're on the same page. So what about Abby and the others?"
"Leave Abby to me. She's having it rough and what happened at the White Division is not helping." Nigel stood up. "I just need to figure out how to help her cool off before she bites mine or anyone else's head off."
"Good luck with that dude." Nazz waved, causing Nigel to roll his eyes. "I need to get back to the arena and spar with Lonnie and the others before my day is over."
"And I want to go see the dragons!" Ed jumped up and down with an adorable look of excitement on his face.
"Okay, go on ahead. I'll track Abby down." Nigel sighed, watching as Ed ran out of the room. "Is he always like that?"
"You have no idea."

SMASH!
"Kitty!" A enraged voice growled out.
Standing at the door was a gang of muscular dog Mobians, looking very feral and angry with red rimmed eyes and snarling sharp teeth.
"Help me with this guy and I'm in." Jesse said simply.
"Deal. I hate guys who mistreat babes." Valhallen said, picking his Mighty Axe.
"Krunk no like mean dogs." Krunk said, smashing the table with one fist.
"Everyone, please take this outside." The bartender begged, not wanting to see his bar destroyed…
Again.
"MAD DOG!" Another voice shouted.
Another batch of thugs stood up from their seats, all of them appearing to be lizard like Mobians led by one with pinkish red skin, green eyes and tongue, stripped with bluish color, and possessing a long tail. His face was crocodilian, with a snout, no hair on his body, a scaly chest, and clawed fingers. He wore a ripped, sleeveless jacket, white wraps around his hands, simple purple trousers with a black leather belt, and he sports a whip.
"I told you to stay off our turf." The lizard Mobian barked.
"This is our turf!" Mad Dog growled. "And I don't remember inviting overgrown lizards to hang out in our bar."
"Oh great." Jesse muttered, reaching for his pistol. "Thug leader here for his ex and now a gang war. Can this day get any better?"
"Hey boss, aren't those two members of the Justice Friends?" Another lizard Mobian pointed at Valhallen and Krunk.
"Yeah." The leader grinned. "I get to skin Mad Dog and two Justice Friends. What a lucky day."
"Fat chance of that, Tung Lashor." Mad Dog retorted and his thugs growled at the lizard while the hunters and heroes looked confused.
"Dude, what is your name?" Valhallen asked, looking at the lizard Mobian leader.
"Tung Lashor! My name strikes fear into anyone who hears it!" The lizard boasted with a cackle.
…
…
"Um…how?" Valhallan asked, befuddled.
"What?" The reptile asked.
"I fail to see how that is meant to be intimidating." Nier said.
Tung Lashor's own henchmen appeared sheepish and withdrawn at this, avoiding their boss' gaze.
"Because…it is an intimidating name!" The reptilian tried to sound confident. "Right guys?"
The rest of the lizard gang either gave weak approvals or preferred to just remain silent while rubbing his necks, too scared and embarrassed to say anything.
"No it's not." Jesse shook his head.
"Name not scary!" Krunk barked.
"Dude, Mad Dog I get." Valhallen pointed at Mad Dog. "He's a dog, he's mad. But…Tung Lashor? Bro, you blew picking your name, big time."
"Yeah, that's not scary at all." Jesse shook his head. "What name did you think of before Tung Lashor? Snotface?"
One of the henchmen actually whispered what the previous name had been. "Tail Sniffer."
Krunk actually laughed at that. "Other name funny!"
"Shut up! You are all going to pay!" Tung Lashor shouted, pulling out his whip. "Kill them in the name of Tung Lashor!"
"Get them!" Mad Dog pointed at the lizard gang and the heroes. "Leave the cowboy to me! He's going to tell me where Bunny is!"
It turned into an all-out brawl in a matter of seconds.
The first thug that charged at the heroes was picked up by Krunk who threw him at two dog Mobians while Valhallen blasted away three lizard Mobians with his Might Axe. One slammed into a table, the hitting the ceiling fan and the other crashing out the window. Nier activated his Semblance, conjuring his shadow double and took down a few lizard and dog Mobian thugs quickly. He punched one out while his shadow duplicate slammed another into the pool table.
Jesse in the meantime turned to see Mad Dog lunge at him, mouth wide open to reveal razor sharp teeth and he slammed them down onto Jesse's arm…
CRACK!
His robot arm.
"AH!" Mad Dog howled, several broken teeth falling out of his mouth.
"Idiot. Don't you know that's a good way to break your teeth?" Jesse asked before slugging Mad Dog in the face.
One lizard thug tried to hit Nier with a metal pipe but he spun around and slashed the pipe to bits and then smashed the hilt of his sword in the thug's face and stomach. As Krunk knocked out another lizard thug another ran at him with a knife but just because Krunk easily caught the knife and crushed it in his hand. The lizard Mobian looked at his knife and then up at the scary glare Krunk was giving him.
"Uh…" The lizard dropped to his knees and bowed his head. "I surrender."
"Okay." Krunk picked the thug up and placed him in the corner. "Mean lizard stay here and think about what lizard has done."
"Okay." The thug complied, staring at the wall.
Valhallen tripped a reptile Mobian with a club who then fell and smashed his face into the jukebox. "Aw man! I hate it when I break something that brings musical joy!"
A whip lashed out and grabbed his Mighty Axe. Valhallen kept a mighty grip on it as Tung Lashor tried to pull it out of the Asgardian's hand.
"Pretty tough." Valhallen said, feeling the lizard thug's strength from how hard he was pulling. "Not bad, I'll give you that."
"I'll take that guitar and beat your head in with it." Tung Lashor threatened.
"Okay." Valhallen let go of his Mighty Axe and let fly right into Tung Lashor's hand…
ZAP!
Tung Lashor screamed as the mystical instrument released burst of electricity that knocked him out a second later, leaving him to fall onto the ground with his body smoking slightly.
"Like my brother's enchanted hammer, my Might Axe can only be held by anyone it deems worthy. I guess you don't have a fondness for music." Valhallen said as his Mighty Axe flew back into his hand.
The bar owner looked at the mess that had been caused by the fight. Dog and lizard Mobians were scattered all over the place with considerable damage done just about everywhere.
"Not again." The tavern owner moaned in despair.
"Here." Valhallen walked up to her and held out a bag of Technos that he placed in her hand. "That should cover the damages."
"…Thank you and thank you for taking care of all these thugs. They've been coming around and causing trouble for the entire town." The bar owner said gratefully.
"No problem." Valhallen said with a thumbs up.
"Uh…hello?" The lizard Mobian that Krunk left in the corner asked once the sounds of fighting had ended. "When is it safe to leave the corner?"

"Thanks for the help. So you're going to an alien world now to rescue the Elementals."
Jesse watched as Mad Dog and Tung Lashor's gangs were arrested and shoved into the police vehicle.
"Yep." Valhallen nodded. "I promise that you won't be doing the real dangerous stuff."
"…I'm in." Jesse looked at the group. "Nier's a buddy of mine, we worked well together a while back and I owe you guys for helping me take these thugs down."
Valhallen smiled, holding out his hand. "Welcome to team, Jesse McCree. Welcome to Team VKJN."
"VKJN?" Jesse sounded the name out. "I like it, even if it's not an actual vacation. So where to next?"
"We can go anytime you're ready." Valhallen held out his Mighty Axe. "Courtesy of the Bifrost."
"Instant transportation, nice." Jesse nodded. "Let me just pick up a few things and I'll be ready."
Team VKJN was now fully assembled and ready to begin its mission to rescue the Elementals from the Gem Homeworld.
Only time will tell if they are successful.

"Here it is."
Before him was the path leading into the closest section of the Darklands to civilization: the Forsaken Valley.
"I have a day left before Sammael's deadline is over." Omnimon said, looking up at the sky. "I am sure this will be a trap…But I can't afford to back out now."
