Opening File: Kumari Kingdom

The Kumari Kandam is an ancient underwater city that was designed to be mobile. Legend says the city moved thanks to the magic of their gods, but really it's just on the back of a giant serpent. Most believe that it was ripped from the mainland by an earthquake and sunk beneath the waves. The truth, however, is that it was built to move underwater and has been on the bottom of the ocean for centuries.

The city is defended by energy cannons on its battlement and by its serpent. The Kumaris are a race of underwater fish humanoids. The Kumaris have lived in their city, completely untouched by the rest of the world, for generations. After living under water for so long the Kumaris have evolved to become a sub-species of fishmen that can breathe both under water and on land.

The Kumaris also have a kind of shark sense called electroreception that allows them to sense when someone is near. Sharks use it to find fish hiding in the sand. The Kumaris also have a telepathic connection with the Kumari Serpent which carries their city on its back. The origin of the Kumari Serpent comes from a brief article in the Tamil. The Tamil refers to Kumari Kandam as The Serpent Continent.

It is very unlikely that this great beast has a vast population range, but we can say that these cryptids don't have short life-spans. They can live for extremely long periods of years. This 600 ft. creature has been known for its easy-going life, but it has been recorded for attacking whole cities. This giant eats any sea creature, especially giant whales and sharks.

The Kumari are considered a race of sentient Cryptids or Mobians and thus are a member of one of the Twelve Races on Earth. They are known to conduct trading with the Triseraquins of Oceanus and the Kingdom of Moanna.

Opening File: Omnitrix

The Omnimatrix, better known as the Omnitrix, is a watch-like device that attached to Ben Tennyson's wrist. The device is a portable library of intergalactic genetic data that allowed the wielder to alter their DNA at will and transform into a variety of different alien species, each with their own unique abilities.

The Omnitrix was created by Azmuth as a tool of peace in an act of repentance following the destruction caused by his previous creation, Ascalon, a weapon of terrible power.

The Omnitrix had a three-fold purpose:

· It would promote inter-species understanding by allowing other beings to experience different ways of life.

· It would serve as a repository for the DNA of over a million different intelligent species, preserving them in the event that any of them should ever be rendered extinct and restore them to life.

· Secretly, Azmuth had another reason for creating the Omnitrix: he hoped that his estranged lover Zennith, who had left him as he created Ascalon, would learn of his change and come back to him.

The Omnitrix mainly allowed for the user to transform into a numerous variety of alien life-forms that are each with their own unique powers and abilities (along with their weaknesses) and in a selection of alien DNA that is in groups of 10.

Opening File: Urgence Evergreen

Urgence Evergreen lived during the Forgotten Age, long before the Time of Awakening. He was the Elemental of Ice. After discovering that a comet filled with evil magic was heading for the world, Evergreen called a meeting of his fellow elementals in order to find a way to stop the comet. Evergreen insists that they must act by creating a magical crown that will grant the wearers innermost wish.

Evergreen stated that he must wear the crown, because his deepest wish was to destroy the comet. The other elementals were against this, as they believed that the crown will corrupt him, and accept that the comet is a bringer of change and that no matter what happens, their elements will persevere in a new form. Angered by their unwillingness to act, Evergreen froze them. He then summoned Gunther, telling him that they will go on a mission to recover the missing piece to his crown.

Their goal was to get the enchanted ruby eyes of the ancient lava dog, Magwood, which will be the source of the magical crown's power. After finding Magwood's lair and successfully fighting to take its eyes to power the crown, they returned back to Evergreen's lair. The crown was complete and ready to use but is then stolen by the Black Mother and used in an experiment to create a new kind of creature, a perfect fusion of human and Grimm. The comet's collision was imminent and Evergreen attacked the Pit of Darkness, freezing the land to take the crown back.

Eventually he retrieved the crown and was about to try to use it to save the world, when Magwood arrived attacking his castle. Evergreen was stuck under an ice block, and out of reach of the crown. Desperately he ordered Gunther to put it on, and to wish the comet away. However, when Gunther put on the crown, it reacts to his wish to be just like Evergreen and the magic morphs him into a smaller version of Evergreen with similar features like white hair and a long nose.

Gunther started shooting ice magic and screamed 'Gunther, no!' interminably. This was due to the crown reacting to how Gunther viewed Evergreen as: a man who was constantly firing ice magic and ordering people around. Evergreen tried to tell Gunther to use a spell to focus on the comet, but realizes too late that he never taught the little dinosaur any spells. Evergreen eventually perished when the comet collided along with the other Elementals and eventually reincarnated with them.

His later reincarnations do not fondly remember him, considering him a selfish and egotistical old man who rather than saving world helped destroy it and create more monsters to continue plaguing it. It was due to this tragedy that the powers of the Elementals altered themselves to ensure the folly of Evergreen would never happen again. Nigel Uno himself considers Evergreen to be a disgrace to the Elementals and feels ashamed to be his reincarnation.

Opening File: Triseraquins

The Triseraquins are ocean-dwelling creatures living on Earth. Triseraquins are a highly-intelligent species, capable of building cities underwater that can sustain non-aquatic are amphibious, meaning they are capable of surviving on land or in water, though they require water helmets to survive for prolonged amounts of time without moisture. They have a set of gills along their long necks and three, antenna-like protrusions on their heads. They are also incredibly tall and have large hands with bulbous fingertips and they all have UK accents.

They also have a unique pupil shape in form of an exclamation point. This is shown a few times during close-ups of their faces. Like the Kumari they are considered a race of sentient Cryptids or Mobians and thus are a member of one of the Twelve Races on Earth. They are known to conduct trading with the Triseraquins of Oceanus and the Kingdom of Moanna.

They are also believed to have existed since the Forgotten Age, having been hidden from the world until they resurfaced shortly after the Time of Awakening.

Opening File: Operation: Blackout

Operation: Blackout is the name of the planned strike on Homeworld by the alliance of the Racing Drones and the Fallen as well retrieving the Elementals. The plan works on taking advantage of the team sent by Sebben consisting of Valhallen, the Infraggable Krunk, Jesse McCreee and Nier who will reach Homeworld through the Bifrost. Vehicon Generals Obsidian and Strika will send a scout force through the space bridge that had been salvaged from a Cybertronian outpost to scout out Homeworld's defenses and security. Thanks to Control Freak who supplied Gelorum with all of the necessary information from the Red-Eye scout ship that was used as a portal to sneak an army of Vehicons into the Hall of Heroes, the drones plan to portal right below the main Gem city, inside Homeworld's Alpha Kindergarten.

Due to the surface of Homeworld having long since been abandoned it is not expected for there to be any guards and even if the portal is detected the drones have built in jamming devices to scramble the scanners of the Shattering Drones Gems for security on Homeworld and on its colonies. The second phase of the plan is reliant on Valhallen's team successfully entering and distracting Homeworld's forces, sending the drone army through the portal to begin a planet wide invasion. While this is taking place the space pirate Psycrow and the Plutarkian Lawrence Limburger plan to cause chaos throughout the Gem Empire through the use of hired space pirates and drones to attack multiple Gem colonies to distract their armies and fleets. Once the Elementals have been retrieved the drones will then make their way to the remaining Kindergarten on Homeworld: the Omega Kindergarten.

This Kindergarten is buried deep in the planet's core, where the remaining recourses needed to create Gems remains while the rest of Homeworld had long since been hollowed out. Once the Omega Kindergarten is secured the drones will placed a high powered plasma bomb that upon detonation will cause a chain reaction that will fracture Homeworld until it explodes, eliminating the Gem Empire's seat of power and the Diamonds themselves. Due to her vendetta against the Gems Gelorum has been placed in charge of the operation while Sammael supplies the personnel needed to ensure the operation is a success in exchange for the safe return of the Elementals.

Gelorum believes that once the Diamonds are destroyed, her forces will be free to harvest its remains to make the Racing Drones the most dangerous power in the galaxy to the point she believes that Sammael will consider her a threat instead of an ally.

"You know the old saying: there's always a bigger fish. We like to think we know everything that might be lurking in those waters we call home but the thing with creatures living underwater is you never truly know if you've found every little creature lurking there. Big and small, creatures both predator and other call the big blue home and like the jungles they are considered survival of the fittest. The predators keep all the species from multiplying their numbers to the point that their numbers endanger the ecosystem of the sea." TOM said as the file closed. "Some manage this so well we only catch mere glimpses and write them off as imaginary. The sea is life itself and from it anything can be born. It's vast and beautiful but it must be respected. If it is ruined beyond repair then we might as well say good bye to the world we live in and any beauty it has left within it."

Xxx

"Valhallen has assembled his team. They will be ready to strike at the Gem Homeworld."

Gelorum seemed placed from the Seer Sammael was using to contact her. "Then, the moment of truth has come."

"Oh yes, it has." Sammael agreed, his lips curling into a soft smile. "Are you ready?"

"I have waited a long time for this moment, Sammael. I will not waste it." Gelorum answered. "Obsidian and Strika will send a scout force through the portal first."

"Good. By the time they arrive through the Bifrost, our own team will be ready. Retrieving the Elementals will be the top priority. Devastating the Gems comes after that." Sammael instructed.

"Very well but my forces will be on standby when that time comes." Gelorum replied, ending the conversation.

"She's too eager." Moloch spoke as Sammael dismissed the Seer. "If she's not careful she'll start a war we're not ready to fight. Even if you intend to make a point to the Diamonds about taking anything that belongs to us."

"If anything she'll serve as the perfect scapegoat then. Gelorum may be a machine but she feels genuine hatred to her creators and even to the Gems." Sammael replied. "Cold logic dictates but hatred is her entire core being."

"Perhaps but she and Valhallen are both ready. So where is Team CROW?" Moloch asked.

"On their way now." Sammael raised his right hand and the eye tattoo flashed, conjuring images of young Wallabee Beatles and Omnimon. "They are in Forsaken Valley. Time to send a greeting party."

Xxx

"You really think it's a good idea to stop right here? I mean, what if Grimm show up?"

"Somehow I got the feeling we're welcome here."

Lou Beatles decided it was time to camp out for the night, knowing it would be too dangerous to go any further. If Wallabee was expected as he claimed, Lou suspected they would have a welcoming committee soon enough.

"In the meantime, Wally I think we need have a little talk." Lou said once they had a fire going.

"About what?"

"You know what your Semblance does, right?" Lou started.

"Yes. It makes me stronger." Wally answered like it was obvious.

"Yes it does do that." Lou chuckled. "But how?"

"By storing Aura." Wally answered again.

"Right. So how can you use Aura if your Semblance is storing it?" Lou questioned.

This time Wally was stumped. "I…Uh…I don't know."

"Some Semblances can be turned off or on but some work differently. Some work without people knowing. That's what I noticed about yours, Wally. It takes a bit of Aura, every day, every hour, and every minute and stores it all inside you. You can use Aura like anyone else but your Semblance is always storing a bit of it for you, even when you are sleeping." Lou explained slowly. "That makes it very powerful and very dangerous to both you and anyone you use it on."

"So, it's storing a bit of my Aura right now?" Wally asked, surprised by what he was learning.

"Yep. What makes it so dangerous to you is if call on too much of it your body wouldn't be able to handle the strain." Lou explained. "We Beatles of a history of being straightforward, solving problems with our tempers and fists. We're blunt and we don't like being told what to do by just anybody. The more you call on your Semblance, the more it would enhance your physical power and the more you risk of straining yourself to the point you might tear your own body apart. This is why when I started your training I pushed you to your physical limits because I knew when you became a Hunter you'd be in situations where you would use your Semblance to make yourself stronger to win your fights."

Wally held up a fist and stared at it, listening as his uncle spoke.

"So all that training, learning how to Jump Good so you could handle the strain and a time may come when your Semblance pushes you to your very limit. I noticed when you awakened your Aura before coming to America. Every time you got into a fight with those other kids back in Australia, you came home with bruises and cuts but over time you kept on coming with less. Even more astounding, you started healing faster to the point your parents ended up putting away the med kit before they even used it. That's something that comes with having a Physical based Semblance." Lou continued. "Physical based Semblances not only enhance speed and strength, they can even enhance a body's ability to heal itself as well as enhancing its reflexes. It's why I've also been having you train without the use of your Aura in most spars and physical exercises, to build up your endurance, strength and stamina so your body would handle the power it would soon be struggling to contain but someday it might not be enough. Someday you might be forced to use all that power, either to save yourself, save your friends or maybe both."

"What do I do then?" Wally asked, lowering his fist.

"…You'll know." Lou looked up. "I think our welcoming committee has arrived."

Wally looked up, following his uncle's gaze and jumped when saw red eyes staring at them out of the darkness. One by one they slowly emerged, revealing themselves to be Grimm but nothing like he had ever seen or read about before. They resembled dinosaurs if one looked past the darkness they were made from, the white bone armor and the glowing red eyes.

"Welcome to the Forsaken Valley."

From the group of Grimm came a man with black hair neatly combed along with a small mustache. He was dressed as a gentleman, wearing a black vest over a white dress shirt with a tie, grey dress pants and shoes and to complete his look he wears a red cloak that fall's to the side, covering his right arm.

Lou and Wally stood up and the man raised his hands. "No need for any violent reactions. I am your escort through this dangerous area."

"Is that so?" Wally glared. "You working with Sammy?"

"I am indeed, young sir. I have been entrusted with leading you to your destination unharmed. The Grimm here are not only stronger but they can be harder to control without direct supervision." The man said with a friendly smile on his face as he bowed. "I am Sir James. Our mutual benefactor considered it prudent to provide an escort."

"Is that so?" Lou asked, staring down the man before them.

He could tell right off the bat that this man was dangerous. Despite putting up a friendly front this man was hiding the deadly skills he had no doubt earned in a very violent life.

"I promise this not a deception. There isn't much to gain from risking my own life to protect you all from these Grimm." James pointed out. "I hate to be a nag but we are hard pressed for time. If you wish to save your friends we must hurry. Do not worry about the Grimm. They have been ordered never to harm me or anyone with me unless I say otherwise."

Like that was supposed to reassure them. All it did prove was that he could order their deaths in the drop of a hat if he chose to.

"I do know you are wondering whether it is wise to trust me or not but I must remind you that we are pressed for time. So you best follow me or be left to the Grimm." James gestured to the surrounding Grimm who growled to make his point clear:

Come with him or die.

"All right, we'll follow you." Lou conceded, seeing no other course of action.

Wally nodded, knowing he had to make nice with the bad guys…For now.

Xxx

In the meantime Omnimon had reached deeper into the Forsaken Valley when he saw stopped by a crowd of Grimm, all of them varying in size and shape but he could tell they were more powerful than the ones he was used to fighting.

"No need to worry, Grimm Slayer." A Seer appeared out from the crowd of Grimm, showing the grinning visage of Sammael. "They will not bite unless I tell them to."

Omnimon narrowed his eyes. "So you sent a greeting party."

"Indeed. They will lead to the base of operations that has been set up for the purpose of retrieving the Elementals. If you wish, I can send the guard away, leaving only this Seer to be your guide."

"Fine then." Omnimon grudgingly agreed.

With a silent command, the crowd of Grimm dispersed leaving only the Seer behind. Omnimon stepped forward, glaring at the image of the Fallen in the crystal ball. "When I get there, I want your word the Elementals will be free to leave."

"You'd trust my word?" Sammael questioned in amusement.

"I'd trust you are desperate enough to call on my assistance. I know you need them to find what you are looking for." Omnimon retorted. "I won't let you use them as tools."

"So Sebben has told you." Sammael smirked. "And still you came to me, because in the end like all the others I'm your only destination."

"There's always an exit, no matter what." Omnimon replied, following the Seer deep into the Darklands.

He knew that this was definitely a trap for him. Sammael may not want to kill or capture the Elementals yet but he was sure he was a target, waiting to be eliminated at the right time.

Still, he'd worry about that once the Elementals were safe.

Xxx

"Are we there yet?"

"We are getting close." Sir James replied, leading them deeper into the Darklands. "We are coming upon what I believe is called Dinosaur Pass."

"Why is it called…Whoa." Wally stopped as he stared at the land before him.

The name Dinosaur Pass was most fitting indeed as right before them was a tropical land, filled with small mountains, cliffs and most of all dinosaur bones!

"It seemed when the Dark Substance and Dust spread out it forced bones buried long ago to the surface, hence the name Dinosaur Pass." Sir James said, leading them through the graveyard of giant bones. "It is from the remains that those dinosaur based Grimm came to be."

"Kind of cool…" Wally admitted to himself.

What was most amazing was that the bones were not just limited from the ground.

There were massive bones hovering in the air!

"HOLY GLOB!" Wallabee uttered in complete awe.

"Gravity Dust by the looks of it." Lou commented. "They mixed with the bones and brought them out of the ground but the Dust in the ground keeps them tethered where they are."

Still, many scientists would likely give their right arms to be able to study all of this.

"You are observant, Mr. Beatles." Sir James commented, leading them passed the massive dinosaur bones.

Dinosaur Pass had a notably higher elevation than the regions East or South. This was likely to stop intruders from bypassing Forsaken Valley via river or sea.

Xxx

Omnimon gazed down at the fiery land before him. "What is this?"

"The Fireswamps." Sammael spoke from the Seer.

Instead of plant life and blue skies sort of like the Jurassic land he had left behind, it was torn up by fire as it was part of a lava field and the sky was burning red. The entire area is bordered by two mountain ranges to the east and the west. Omnimon stared in silence at the fiery land, seeing that it would almost next to impossible to navigate.

"Follow the Seer." The Seer floated forward. "You will be perhaps the first Hunter in a long time to see a safe way to navigate this area."

Xxx

"THAT WAS INSANE! I'M SO SWEATY I THINK I'M MELTING!"

"Welcome to the Firepits." Sir James said.

This was most dangerous of the fiery infernos of the Darklands. The Dark Substance has created 'spore pods' around the southwest end of the area and a gigantic one at the center. From them came Grimm that appeared to be actually made of lava!

And nearby was a large fortress, guarded by Grimm and machines.

"This is our stop." Sir James said, leading them past the pods and towards the front gate where someone was already waiting for them.

Wally's eyes widened when he saw a very familiar figure. "YOU! WHAT THE CRUD ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"

Omnimon spun around, eyes widening in mutual shock when he saw Wally and his uncle. "You…How…Why are you here?"

Wally glared. "I'm here to save my friends. What else?"

"Wait…" Omnimon spun around, glaring at the Seer. "This was your entire plan wasn't it?! You brought him here to take part in the rescue!"

"Of course. He is their closest friend." Sammael replied like it was obvious. "They would have been less receptive if they were only recognized by anyone associated with me."

"This was not part of our deal!" Omnimon barked, unsheathing his sword and pointing it at the Seer. "Take them back now!"

"The deal between you and I remains the same. Any agreements with anyone else are irrelevant." Sammael calmly retorted.

"Besides, I'm not going anywhere!" Wally marched up to the Royal Knight, glaring up at him. "Nigel and Abby are my friends and I'm not letting them down!"

"Do you understand what you are getting yourself into?" Omnimon stared down at Wally. "This will be extremely dangerous, too dangerous for someone as young as you. I doubt your friends would want you to commit suicide for them."

"HA! I'll die trying before that!" Wally said, marching past Omnimon as the doors opened.

"Yeah…That's exactly what I meant." Omnimon muttered, silently following after the young Faunus.

Xxx

As Phil Ken Sebben turned to leave Johnny Bravo with his mother there was a flash of light that was instantly recognized by him and Rossweisse. A pillar of light fell down from the sky hit the ground before them, fading away a second later to reveal who was responsible.

Rossweisse stepped forward. "Valhallen."

It was indeed Valhallen along with Krunk, Jesse and Nier behind him.

"Yo, Sebben. Our team is ready." Valhallen stepped forward but stopped to address the Valkyrie he recognized. "Rossweisse…How's the old man?"

"In better spirits now." Rossweisse answered, gesturing to Johnny as he went back to talking with his mother, explaining what he had been through. "Mjolnir chose someone a little similar to Thor when he was young."

"Looks like it." Valhallen smiled a bit, feeling nostalgic as he recalled the fun he had with his brothers when they were children. "I would like to meet him but we're in a bit of hurry."

"I see." Rossweisse understood. "I cannot help you in this matter. Odin's orders were absolute."

"No problem. I won't get in the way just don't expect him to suddenly take my brother's place. He's his own dude, no matter what the enchantments on my brother's hammer does." Valhallen said, walking past Rossweisse to speak with Sebben.

"You're a little late." The Mayor of GrimmFall greeted. "The deadline for Sammael's own plans is almost over."

"Sorry about that." Valhallen rubbed the back of his head. "Nier was easy to find. It was trouble tracking down Jesse and even then he was in the middle of something so we had to lend a hand."

"Still, you managed to find them all. Are they ready?" Sebben asked.

"They know what they are getting into." Valhallen answered.

"That's good to hear. I have enough Gem related problems to handle down here." Sebben sighed. "And there is a chance that the Gem Empire will retaliate against us after this is over."

"Yeah. Gems don't like to lose." Valhallen rubbed the back of his head. "I can't say we'll be able to sneak in and out with anyone noticing. But I got a plan for that."

"And that is?"

"Odds are the Diamonds don't know I am protecting Earth. When they see me they'll just think I'm an Asgardian looking to get them back for attacking Asgard." Valhallen explained. "As long as they never suspect I'm on Earth they won't go looking for me. Attacking Asgard would be the last thing they'd want."

"You are taking a bit of gamble here, Valhallen." Sebben commented.

"It's the risk we all take, dude." Valhallen said, walking back to his team. "I'll be sure to send a post card if we end up staying a little longer."

Sebben watched as Valhallen raised his Mighty Axe to summon the Bifrost again…

And in a flash of light they were all gone.

As Sebben walked back into the Hall of Heroes he noticed Erika standing at the entrance to the lobby, looking at her tablet. Deciding it was private he walked past her, followed by Callie Briggs.

In the meantime, Erika was looking at a message sent to her by someone she had not heard from in a while. "Doyle? Just where in Valhalla have you been?"

She read over the message he sent and her eye widened when she was finished. "I DON'T BELIEVE IT!"

Her voice was loud enough to catch Sebben and Briggs as they were halfway down the lobby when she shouted. "Miss Ahlberg, is something the matter?"

Erika spun around with an angered look on her face. "I need my team assembled. The mercenary Van Rook might have discovered the location of the hidden Dragon sanctuary."

Xxx

The interior of the base was long and very intimidating but the Royal Knight and two Faunus continued following their guides, navigating multiple tunnels and corridors. Just as Wally was about to scream that it was taking too long they finally reached their destination: the very heart of the fortress.

The walls were metallic black, covered in Dust filled runes etched into the walls and ceiling, mixing into a beautiful pattern of swirls below the strong glass floor they were on. The chamber was massive with Greek style columns made of metal along with arches and gothic style windows. And at the end of the room was a throne behind a giant circular machine. The throne was ornate with a large back and armrests that resembled lions and sitting on it was a woman.

This woman had green electronic lines running down her face, one eye glowing bright green and one arm was completely metallic.

"So, this is the other half of Team CROW." The woman said, her voice cold as steel with a hint patronization.

"Who is this lady?" Wally asked and added. "And who is Team CROW?"

"Gelorum." Sammael spoke from the Seer. "An associate who has offered us her aid. As for Team CROW, you are one half and allow me to introduce the other."

From behind Gelorum's throne came a young Faunus woman and a strange if basic robot. Wally wasn't paying much attention to the robot as he was the woman.

Both he and Omnimon recognized her, or at least recognized who she resembled. "Abby?"

The woman appeared to be an older, teenage version of Abby with matching fox shaped ears while her hair was in dreadlocks instead of being braided as Abby preferred.

"This is Cree Lincoln, the older sister of Abigail Lincoln."

"Older sis…Wait, a minute!" Wally suddenly shouted, pointing at Cree. "You're the sister who abandoned Abby when she was little!"

Omnimon narrowed his eyes, having not known that little detail about Abby's life but remained silent.

"You have got a lot of nerve being here. Abby told me how you up and dumped her at Nigel's before you took off and ran! How dare you show up here with these creeps?!" Wally's Aura started to flare around him as his anger grew on his friend's behalf. "Do you have any idea what that put her through?! Leaving her all alone with her parents gone! Her brother gone! And you suddenly show up here of all places, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"

Cree narrowed her eyes as Wally took a step forward and Omnimon stepped in, holding his hands down on Wally's shoulder to stop him from attacking. "Not here, not now. Whatever answers she might have she can give to her sister when we rescue her. That is why she is here, right?"

"Indeed." The Seer floated next to Cree. "If you wish to save your friends, Wallabee. You best focus on the mission."

Wally growled as his Aura receded but a very angry look at Cree who remained silent.

"Now then, it's time to address the matter at hand." Sammael said, reminding them all why they were assembled.

Gelorum stood up from her throne and slowly strolled forward. "Standing before you is the very first space bridge designed from the remains of older technology. Enter the coordinates and it can send you to any location in the universe. This is how you will reach the Gem Homeworld."

With a silent command the machine was activated, emitting a low hum as a green vortex of swirling energy blasted to life inside the circular gateway. The portal lit up the entire chamber, slightly blinding most of the group but their eyes adjusted and they stared at the machine with slight awe and mostly apprehension.

"You are hesitant to enter. That's all right. I have my own group to send through first." Gelorum made a small gesture and the group watched as a group composed of three Copter and Artillery Drones approached the portal, vanishing inside it. "They will act as a scout group to ensure the portal has indeed reached the Gem Homeworld."

Xxx

In another part of the fortress Obsidian and Strika watched through a live feed as the drones emerged through the portal, unharmed and in a new location.

"Commencing area wide scan." Obsidian said, watching as the data recorded by the drones was sent back to him and Strika.

"Area appears to be devoid of organic life." Strika reported. "The surface area has hollowed out. No ore or soil left behind."

"Perimeter scans match with known Kindergartens." Obsidian continued. "Moving Scout group ahead with orders to lock down the surrounding area."

"Atmosphere is breathable to organic life." Strika spoke up. "Detecting high level power emissions from above. Power signatures matches Gem technology."

"That must be their capital city." Obsidian deduced. "It is being held up above the surface by a form of anti-gravity technology."

"Confirmed. They are in the Alpha Kindergarten of the Gem Homeworld." Strika said, sending all information to Gelorum. "Our scout force made it through. They are on the Gem Homeworld. Space Bridge is a success."

Xxx

"Excellent." Gelorum sounded pleased as she faced the group. "Are you all prepared?"

There was a moment of silence before Wally took a step forward. "Yeah, I'm ready."

"I am ready." Omnimon said, stepping forward with Wally.

Just as Lou was about to step forward, a pair of Copter Drones hovered in front of him. "Excuse me?"

"You are not of the group and thus will remain behind." Gelorum said coldly. "Unless you prefer to cause trouble and make things difficult for your nephew."

Lou glared but a hidden look from Wally convinced him to stand down.

Fine, he would play nice for now.

Cree and Mr. Robot stepped forward, standing Wally and Omnimon and staring at the spacebridge for a second…

And then stepped forward into it.

Xxx

"Abby? Abby?"

Nigel walked through the forest of the Special Zone, calling for his friend. After Abby had run off he knew he had to find her or they might get in trouble with the Diamonds which was the last thing anyone needed. Unfortunately Abby's fuse had grown shorter the longer she was here and he was afraid she might end up getting hurt if she mouthed off to the wrong person.

"Abby?"

He really hated it when she got like this. It wasn't often but when Abby was upset she didn't to see or talk to anyone.

'This is pathetic.'

Nigel stopped as everything around him suddenly froze in time. Actually he knew nothing was frozen but rather he had been pulled inside his mind.

And he knew who had done it.

He slowly turned around and glared at the one responsible. "Urgence Evergreen."

The very first Ice Elemental, stood before him with a condescending look on his face. "Is that how you choose to address me, boy?"

"It's the only greeting you're ever going to get from me." Nigel retorted. "Now why did you pull me inside my mind? How did you even do that? I thought the others would have stopped you."

"You think those weaklings could stop me? I am the true Ice Elemental, not them."

"You were the Ice Elemental. Now you're dead and stuck inside my soul." Nigel icily(no pun intended) corrected. "Something I know we both hate."

"Shut your trap boy and listen. There is a great danger coming-HEY WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!" Evergreen shouted when he noticed Nigel walking away.

"Away from you." Nigel answered, grumbling when he saw he was still in his mind. "I got to get back to the real world and find my friend."

"Who cares? She and the others will be dead and you will be too if you do not listen to me!" Evergreen shouted.

Nigel spun around, glaring at the previous Elemental. "Who cares? I care! I care because she's my friend! I care because the others are my friends and my dad!" He stopped forward. "I care about saving them from this place and I won't let anyone stop me, not even you!"

"If you try to save them you will die and so will I!" Evergreen argued.

"You're already dead!" Nigel shouted, pointing straight at Evergreen. "You've been dead a million, correction a billion years! No way am I bailing on my friends just because you can't get it through your head!"

"I am you, boy! Every Ice Elemental that has ever lived was me and they would have lasted longer if they did what I said!" Evergreen shouted back.

"I…AM…NOT…YOU!" Nigel raged, his Elemental powers suddenly activating. "NONE OF THE OTHERS WERE EVER YOU! WE ARE OUR OWN BEINGS, NOT EXTENSIONS OF YOU! YOU'RE A USELESS OLD MAN WHO DOOMED THE WORLD AND CREATED THE WORST EVIL BECAUSE HE WAS TOO MUCH OF AN IDIOT AND A COWARD TO THINK OF ANOTHER WAY OR ASK EVERYONE ELSE FOR HELP!"

Evergreen snarled. "How dare you talk to me that way?!"

"No, how dare you consider all the Ice Elementals to be extensions of you?! How dare you act like you are not responsible for the creation of the Fallen like Sammael and the others?! How dare you attack your allies when they didn't agree with your stupid idea?! AND HOW DARE YOU TRY TO ORDER ME TO LEAVE MY FRIENDS AND MY DAD BEHIND JUST TO SAVE MY OWN BUTT!?" Nigel reared a fist back and slugged Evergreen right in the chest, knocking him down.

Evergreen coughed a bit, staring up at Nigel with shock. "You…You hit me."

"Yeah and I bet anyone else who has ever known you has wanted to do the same thing. Now I understand why Elsa and the other Ice Elementals worked so hard to repress you. Getting killed by your neglect to your student hasn't taught you a single lesion. This is why we all reject you." Nigel scolded.

"It's because of their rejection that they never became true Elementals. The merge is only complete when the Elemental gains all the powers and memories of the past Elementals." Evergreen argued.

"And I am sure you only would have given yours if you wanted the others to follow your orders." Nigel rolled his eyes. "I know how the merge works, Evergreen. I also know that once the merge is complete the current Elemental might take on traits from the others. Meaning no one wanted to end up being like you."

"And because of that they never got my knowledge. Do they not understand what they would have gained?"

"Please, even your student thought you were just some lunatic who barked orders and shot ice at people." Nigel shook his head.

"Gunter was messed up."

"And whose fault was that?" Nigel asked rhetorically. "Even the power itself understood you were an idiot and that's why it's been careful who it chooses next ever since you. But I got an idea of how you can actually help."

"And how's that?" Evergreen stood up.

"Send your knowledge to me but leave behind everything else." Nigel answered.

"And how does this help me?"

"It doesn't." Nigel smirked. "You're here to help me, not the other way around. If you can't accept that I am not you or an extension of you then stay in the back of my memories and never come back."

"You are making a mistake!" Evergreen growled.

"No, but I am being forced to deal with your mistakes. I am dealing with the fallout of your actions and I am not going to let you force me to hurt any of my friends. So either give me what you know or get lost." Nigel said, stating his terms.

"Bah! Keep your friends! You're not worth my time! Just like the rest of those Ice Elementals!" Evergreen said, vanishing into snow.

Nigel watched as time started moving again and sighed. "I guess I'm never going to be a true Elemental…Oh well."

Perhaps it was for the best.

He never wanted to end up like Evergreen and to be honest if it meant being himself even after the process was complete he was fine with it.

But he still needed to find Abby.

Xxx

Abby was much closer than Nigel thought. She was currently hiding near a waterfall, simply watching the stream.

She needed to get away.

She was so angry.

So afraid.

And so tired.

She hated feeling like this and needed to get away.

She needed to figure out what to do.

She needed to be alone.

"My Elemental."

Too bad it was too much to ask for.

Candy Pearl emerged from the forest, slowly approaching Abby. "Are you all right? I picked up feelings of emotional distress from you?"

Abby snorted, glaring at the Pearl's reflection in the water. "Really now?"

"Yes. Are you in need of something?"

"Actually…I am." Abby slowly stood up. "I need…To find an outlet for all my pent up anger!"

Abby spun and charged at Candy Pearl, leaping up and launching a kick at the Gem's face. Candy Pearl spun and dodged, watching Abby sailed past her. "Do you wish to spar?"

Abby landed on her feet and turned around. "Sure, call it that."

"Very well." Candy Pearl bowed and settled into a fighting stance.

Abby let out a battle cry and charged forward…
