Opening File: Blue Division

The Blue Division of the Special Zone on the Gem Homeworld focuses on mimicking the court of Blue Diamond. When the Special Zone was created and the first organic specimens were brought in the Gems spent a long time, learning how to socially and genetically modify them into suitable subjects. Once the learning the needs of organics it became easier for the Gems to begin pacifying them, making them dependent on their caretakers. Due to the Earthlings being skilled warriors it was decided they were too dangerous to be treated as mere specimens in a space zoo and thus the Special Zone was made into a pocket dimension, accessible only on Homeworld.

Over time the Gems learned of the biological and mental functions of the organics and used their knowledge to better modify them. Soon enough an entire colony in this pocket universe was made and the population were soon taught by their Gem caretakers to maintain the colony on their own with minimal assistance. With their knowledge on Earthling biology the Gems were able to enhance the immune systems and improve the thought process of their subjects through minimal genetic engineering and selective breeding. The population was large enough so that there was enough genetic diversity to deal with an unexpected death and any form of illness was immediately eradicated to avoid being spread to the others.

This had the additional effect of making the society highly integrated and interdependent. From the point on any and every newborn was bred to fulfill a specific role in the colony through one of the four divisions established. The Blue Division, modeled after Blue Diamond's court of diplomacy which in reality was actually focused on the strict enforcement of Gem law. Blue Division handles the everyday operations in the Special Zone, dealing in art, construction, planning celebrations alongside the Pink Division, ensuring the production of food along with the care and well-being of the colony population and all non-military duties that would be handled by the Yellow Division.

Members of the Blue Division usually are the most prim and proper of the four divisions. They are dressed elegantly in clothing similar to the fashion found in the Victoria Era of the British Empire that is actually similar to the wardrobe found in the court of Blue Diamond and are the most reserved compared to the other divisions but often act slightly arrogant. Those that do not usually wear the same form of uniform as the Gems which is the default outfit to wear for those who are still Learners that have yet to be placed in the exact position in the division. Each division has a single leader who is ranked just below or on par with the Gems who supervise the Special Zone but trust the organics to manage the zone and its population on their own.

The leader of the Blue Division is named Blue Power.

Opening File: Serrator

Serrators are a type of technological weapon Akiridions use for fighting offensively and defensively. Unactivated, it looks like an ordinary blue protractor. While in use, it's a deadly weapon, if used by the wrong person, it can cause serious damage. It can turn into a holographic sword and shield made of ionic energy. It can easily form into a nearly impenetrable shield, a blaster, a blade, and a two-pronged spear for combat.

Because it's an ionic energy weapon, it's easily defeated by neurometer blasters.

Opening File: Hunter's Guild Lunar Outpost

The Hunter's Guild Lunar Outpost is a spatial outpost located in sector 45 of the Earth's moon where the most dastardly bounty hunters of the galaxy refuel and reload. The lunar outpost is a place designated for bounty hunters to regain supplies. It possesses hangars for space ships, a bar staffed by Blank Robots and cells to enclose prisoners of the bounty hunters.

After the Arkiridion Varvatos Vex was captured by the bounty hunter Zeron Alpha, he is taken to the moon as a prisoner waiting to be transferred to Akiridion-5 for execution. When Aja and Krel discover by the mouth of Magmatron about Varvatos, they decide to go and rescue him behind Zadra's back. Using Stuart's ship, the three arrive at the lunar outpost. Knowing that the place would be full of bounty hunters, Krel and Stuart are busy distracting them while Aja frees Varvatos. When Krel's identity is revealed behind his disguise, all bounty hunters including Alpha, Tronos, and several Foo-Foos start fighting for his 9 billion reward.

This gives the princes, Varvatos and Stuart the chance to flee, but Alpha still goes after them. After Varvatos kills Alpha in a fight, the four leave the outpost back to Earth.

Scanning Specimen ED-DY

Specimen Bio-Scan Results:

Human 50%

Unknown 50%

Recommendation: Specimen must be moved and isolated for extensive study.

U-Twelve looked over the data and sat back in her chair, considering the ramifications of what she had learned.

A specimen only partly human with the other half matching nothing in the records.

"Locate subject ED-DY." U-Twelve requested the computer who then brought up a map of the Special Zone, highlighting Eddy's location in the Dragon Den.

"SH-0P5." U-Twelve then spoke and the door opened.

In walked a girl with tanned skin and black hair, appearing to be around twelve years old. She wore a blue blouse with white trimmings, a white sailor-style collar with a ribbon tied into a perfectly neat bow at the front. At the bottom was a blue skirt with white trimmings while she wore black Mary Jane shoes with white stockings with blue lacing going up to her thighs. Her hair was neatly flowed down her back like silk and on her head was a large white bow tied perfectly.

"Yes, U-Twelve." She greeted politely.

"I have an assignment for you."

"So Ed, you in?"

Everyone seemed to have realized that through the whole conversation, Ed was acting all quiet all of a sudden without a word, which was out of character for him.

"Ed." Nigel said with his arms crossed.

Ed only shook his head in response.

"Ed!" This time it was Eddy's turn only for Ed to continue shaking his head and hands held up as if he had nothing to hide... but still had his lips sealed tight.

"Goodness sake, give it some air, dear boy!" Monty persuaded him and had an obvious idea what he was hiding.

Giving up the charade and all Ed did was open his mouth, sticking his tongue out and there was a small dragon known as the Terrible Terror all soaked up and everyone was amazed the little fella didn't burn his mouth off to escape.

"He's in." Eddy groaned, rubbing his face.

"Eww…Ed. That's just gross dude." Nazz shook her head.

"Something's not right with that boy." Abby whispered, shaking her head to get the image of Ed having a dragon in her mouth out of her head.

"Right on, Ed!" Jonny laughed. "We can use a dragon to bust out of here and then we can take it home!"

"And we can hide in my garage where I will hug him and feed him and name him Nester." Ed said, hugging the dragon to his chest.

"Ed…you can't keep that dragon." Nigel cut in, crossing his arms.

Ed looked at Nigel, then at Abby and his gaze turned to everyone with all of them except Jonny agreeing with the Ice Elemental. "But…But…"

"Put the dragon down, Ed." Eddy ordered.

Ed tearfully put the dragon hatchling on the ground, wiping his eyes as he looked ready to bawl.

'Attention, Zone Citizens. Night Cycle has begun. Begin returning to your quarters and prepare for sleep cycle. Anyone discovered awake after sleep cycle has begun will be reprimanded.'

"Seems like we'll have to try tomorrow." Monty said, standing up. "We'll sleep through the night and start fresh tomorrow. We'll all meet here when we have the chance."

Everyone nodded as the Elemental Pearls came up to their selective ones before summoning a bubble to take them back to their rooms. With that everyone else headed back to their assigned rooms.

"So, bunking again?"

"You got a problem with that?"

Nigel chuckled, raising his hands in mock surrender. "Hey, I am all for it. Just hope we don't wake up to Ed snoring in front of us again."

Abby rolled her eyes as she walked over and climbed into the large blue bed. "Yeah, sounds like something he would do."

Nigel of course understood that Abby hated being alone, even if she wasn't angry or stressed as much anymore. She wanted be near her best friend and keep an eye on him if something happened. It's been that way since they were little, perhaps going back before the incident in the park or the incident with the Fallen named Skarr. Since then Abby had been oddly protective of him and their friends, perhaps a little fiercely protective.

He often wondered if it was because she lost her parents, her brother and then her sister seemingly abandoned her. His parents one time had told him that not only did Faunus have animal traits such as ears, eyes, claws or even a tail but they also carried the instincts of the animal they shared those traits with. As a Fox Faunus Abby carried such as traits as enhanced eyes and hearing along with enhanced reflexes and perhaps a bit more but she was still young so they couldn't tell for sure. While foxes were not pack hunters like wolves they were still a close knit family, usually in smaller numbers called a 'leash of foxes' or a 'skulk of foxes' but tended to otherwise hunt alone.

While Abby may have turned down being adopted she did see the Unos as a second family and thus it was natural for her to care for them but with her friends her Faunus instincts would compel her to be near them and be protective to anyone she perceives as a threat. After that it made sense to Nigel why Abby could come off as overprotective given all that she had been though and simply did his best to reassure her when she thought he might have been hurt, like that day he was sent to detention for saving Wally from those bullies and the other crazy adventures they have had.

Abby lied down, taking one pillow and turning her back to Nigel. "So…You think we'll really escape?"

"I hope so…" Nigel lied down as well, his back to his friend. "I mean, we have a plan now so we have to see it through."

"And what if it doesn't work?"

Nigel considered and simply shrugged. "Is it any worse than not trying?"

No, it really wasn't.

"So, you in?" Nigel asked with a small smile.

Even though he couldn't see he could tell Abby was nodding. "I'm in."

"Great. You know we have to get back. Who knows where Wally would be without us?" Nigel asked rhetorically with a small chuckle.

Abby snickered. "Yeah…Poor guy must be missing us."

"What's with all the holes?"

Wallabee Beatles walked through the giant canyon, seeing holes almost everywhere he looked. The nearby drones spread out, scanning for potential enemies.

"They are holes made when Gems are made and incubated here." Obsidian spoke through a nearby Copter drone. "All of the resources in the area have been used up, making this the perfect place to infiltrate the Gem Homeworld. There should be no guards down here."

Omnimon was silent as he took in the place, sensing absolutely no form of life at all. The entire area was desolated. He bent down and sampled what was left of what might have been soil.

"It's all dead…The place has been hollowed out to the point nothing could possibly live here."

Is this what these Gems had done to their own planet?

Use up all of its resources and then did the same to other worlds?

And did they plan to do the same thing to the Earth?

"Our information tells us that the Gems no longer reside on the surface of the planet. Rather, they have built cities above the surface but still within the atmosphere thus making it breathable for organic life." Strika spoke through one of her own drones.

"So then how do we get up there, circuit brains?" Wally asked, crossing his arms.

"Through patience." Obsidian coolly answered. "There will be a diversion that will distract the majority of the Gems from learning of the infiltration until it is too late."

"And how's that?"

"Through our mutual benefactor."

Xxx

"Our infiltration has arrived on the Gem Homeworld. Have you assembled your group?"

Sammael gazed at the image of Lawrence Limburger through the sphere of the Seer he was using to communicate. "Everything is ready on our end, Mr. Sammael. I am sure you know that there is no shortage of fellows across the galaxy who love for a chance to strike at the heart of the Gem Empire."

"Then Control Freak has provided the coordinates for key colonies and where to strike?" Sammael questioned.

"Indeed. He and another associated are in position to disable communications across the entire Gem network while Psycrow will be leading the assembled strike force."

"Excellent." Sammael praised. "Bear in mind, Limburger that the purpose is not to try and destroy the Gem Empire as that would be impossible. They are too widespread for even Psycrow and the mercenaries you have assembled. The purpose is to cause as much destruction and discord as possible and to draw the majority of the Empire's forces to the colonies while leaving Homeworld open, even if all three Diamonds are still there."

"Of course, Sammael. Each has been fully briefed on the plan and I personally made sure they understood." Limburger replied.

"Then from this point forward I leave this part of the plan in your hands. Keep the Gems distracted as long as possible. Sabotage their spaceports, interfere with their productions, steal their weaponry and any information you can." Sammael instructed. "Succeed and you will have dealt a massive blow to the Gem Empire and gained a likely increase in influence and fame among your own fellow Plutarkians."

"Ah yes! I can see it now! Lawrence Limburger, hailed for crippling the Gem Empire and humiliating the Diamonds. I can already see Lord Camembert himself congratulating me in person for striking a blow against the Confederation's most annoying competitors." Lawrence sighed in pure bliss at the mere thought of it. "I promise you the operation will be a success."

"I am counting on it, Limburger. Remember, I will honor our agreement to supply you with the resources needed to contend with the Martian Resistance on Mars and the Biker Mice here on Earth but if it fails too soon for my liking you can consider our agreement null and void." Sammael said, his voice taking a dark tone that made Limburger shutter slightly. "This is a very important operation, Limburger. There can be no mistakes this time."

"I-I understand perfectly, Sammael." Limburger nodded. "I will even see to it myself that there are no mistakes."

"Good." Sammael waved his hand and Limburger's image faded from the sphere.

"A Plutarkian keeping his word? That will be the day." Moloch scoffed once the conversation was over.

"Fortunately Limburger's own hatred for the Gems outweighs the typical Plutarkian instincts for deception and betrayal. The chance to humiliate, steal their technology and resources along with the rewards from his superiors is a massive boon to him." Sammael dismissed the Seer. "His connections with the various criminals and mercenaries across the known universe are what makes him valuable for this operation."

Xxx

"Karbunkle!"

Limburger's mad scientist quickly stepped out and bowed to his boss. "Yes, your grand cheesiness?"

"It's time we begin our part of Operation: Blackout. Is the disruptor ready?" Limburger asked.

"But of course, your overlordness."

"Good." Limburger rubbed his hands together. "Then send out the signal. I am sure Control Freak and Swayzak have been waiting for this."

"Yes, your second supreme evilness."

Limburger activated the communicator on his desk. "Psycrow, are you ready?"

"Ready and waiting."

"Then wait no more, my blood thirsty avian friend." Limburger grinned. "Time to start the carnage."

Psycrow's voice chuckled over the intercom. "I love it when I hear that."

Deep Space

Psycrow ended the call with Limburger and turned to face the group gathered behind. They were all mercenaries, top of the most wanted, fearless and all of them hated Gems for various reasons.

For some it was because the Gems destroyed their home planets.

For others the Gems destroyed worlds where most of their clients lived and lost them a great deal of money.

And for most, they hated the Gems making their lives miserable one way or another.

And anyone else, the chance to make lives miserable for those walking space rocks was too good to pass up.

So when word came of a plan to make the Gems hurt they all signed on with little convincing.

"Time to start boys." Psycrow picked up a special weapon he had picked up during his travels.

It was called a Serrator, a weapon from the planet Akiridion-5 and it was a very special weapon. He had already tested it on a few quarries and it worked perfectly.

"Huntor, you get Sector 2."

A tall muscular alien with yellow fur and claws and a head that looks like that of a humanoid lion stepped forward with an eager grin.

"Warlock, you get Sector 3."

This one seemed to be human with brunette hair that covered half of his face, wearing a long black cloak with gold outlines.

"T-Bot, you get Sector 4."

"T-Bot ready to smash puny Gems!" A robot spoke.

This one was actually present by holographic communications as he was too large to fit into the outpost.

"And Skalgar, you get Sector 5."

The last one was a robot like T-Bot and all though he was smaller he was still forced to use the holo-comm to attend the meeting. "Good. I will soon be feared across the Gem Empire."

"Yes, you will." Psycrow nodded in agreement, turning to the other hunters. "The rest of you will be paired with one of the others leading the assault. You don't like taking orders? That's fine. You're only supposed to cause as much devastation as you can.

"You want to steal something then take it but don't get in anyone else's way. The point is to make a huge riot that the Diamonds themselves cannot ignore. If you survive you get paid, no matter how little damage you do, just as long as you are actually there and doing the job you are hired for. And if I see one of you slaking off I'll fry you myself." Pyscrow said, making his threat clear. "Now get to your ships and head to the designated sectors to begin the operation."

Xxx

"Welcome back to the rest area, newcomers."

When Monty along with the Peach Creek kids and Bubblegum they were greeted by none other than Blue Power, the supposed head supervisor of the Blue Division. Blue Power was quite the tall, muscular character to the group. She had short cyan hair, sharp eyes, and a long nose. She wore a white blouse with a blue bow tie around the collar, a white blazer with blue buttons and outlines and white trimmings at the end of the sleeves, a blue knee length skirt with a white hem and a white blue ribbon tied into a bow around the waist while having white stockings and blue high heels on her feet. Blue Power was stoic and stern, personally meeting each new member of her division and observing them with critical eyes.

She was polite though, welcoming them to the Blue Division and taking the time to explain the rules of the Division she had been charged with. She also made no small effort in making everyone know that she was ready to whip new members who join into the perfect picture of elegance. She certainly gave off an aura worthy of any leader that demanded respect from anyone who met her.

"Sorry if we were late." Monty decided to speak for the group. "We were captivated with the dragons."

"Almost everyone is." Blue Power admitted. "Well, I suggest you all hurry to your quarters. Good night everyone."

"Good night." Everyone said as Blue Power walked past them.

Not even Eddy was foolish enough to say something stupid in front of Blue Power…

Well he did and instantly regretted it from the terrifying look she had given him and the dark aura that rolled off her in waves. Bonnibel suspected that there was much more to Blue Power than simply being assigned as the organic supervisor of the Blue Division.

She suspected that the muscular woman had the strength to back up her position.

If not for the plan to escape the female candy golem would have liked the chance to speak with Blue Power and see what made her so special to be leader of the Division and what powers she might wield. Still, they had a plan now and had to be ready.

Xxx

"Boy, I am actually happy to sleep through a whole night for once." Eddy said as the door to his sleeping quarters opened up.

Only to come face to face with a girl staring directly at him. "GAH!"

"You are ED-DY?" The girl asked.

Eddy took a chance to catch his breath before looking at the girl. "Uh…Yeah?"

"You have been deemed a threat to the Special Zone and are to be brought in for examination." The girl stated.

"Uh…What?" Eddy stepped back. "What are you talking about?"

"You have unknown DNA in your biology and must be examined." The girl pulled on the white bow that was tied to her hair and the bow turned into a white wand. "Come with me or be detained."

"Oh yeah?" Eddy narrowed his eyes. "I've put up with Ed's sister all day and nearly every day for most of my life so I'm not afraid of some girly girl with a wand and-GAH!"

From the wand came a blue beam of light that enveloped Eddy in a sphere, immobilizing and silencing him.

"You will not be harmed but you must be examined to see if you will be a threat to the population of the Special Zone." The girl said, pulling Eddy along with her tractor beam. "Cooperate and you will not be harmed."

"Hey wait a second!" Eddy called out inside the sphere but his voice had been muted. "You can't do this me! I have rights! What happened to Blue Division being classy?! I practically invented being classy! Ed, Jonny, Rolf, somebody!"

Xxx

A pillar of light traveled through the blackness of space, traveling faster than any mortal eyes could ever hope to follow.

It traveled past planets, stars and past entire galaxies.

Arriving into one particular galaxy.

It reached one planet, shooting down past the city that hovered above the surface, impacting the ground.

The light and the energy instantly alerted every Gem in the city as it touched the surface.

"My Diamond there are intruders on Homeworld!" Yellow Pearl called out to her Diamond.

"Intruders?" Yellow Diamond narrowed her eyes. "Who would dare to infiltrate Homeworld?"

"The energy signature appears to be…" Yellow Pearl looked at the screen with widened eyes. "Asgardian."

Yellow Diamond's eyes widened at the mention of the Asgardians…

She remembers facing the Asgardian warrior hailed as the God of Thunder. He proudly stood in the battle field, azure armor gleaming as he held up his hammer and brought down lightning on countless Gems. Then he turned to her as she summoned her Galaxy Storm and the two charged, meeting each other in a blast of lightning that cut through the land itself.

"Assemble our entire army!" Yellow Diamond stood up. "Place the entire city on lock down and prepare for invasion!"
