Opening File: Della Duck
Della Duck is a duck Mobian, the twin sister of world famous explorer Donald Duck, the niece of Scrooge McDuck former headmaster, and the mother of Huey Duck, Dewey Duck, and Louie Duck. In the past, she and her twin brother, Donald had accompanied their uncle, Scrooge McDuck on many dangerous adventures up until 10 years prior to the current events. While she ad all sorts of wonderful and crazy adventures, but through the years she also saw the darkest of humanity, and how faunus/mobian we're treated in some harsher countries like Rodigan.
She wanted to help make a better world for Faunus/Mobians around the world and believed she knew would find a way not on Earth but somewhere in space. Having traversed the world, Della had hopes to make it possible for her sons (only eggs at the time) to be able to explore the stars and perhaps have a chance to grow up without the threat of the Grimm. She designed a rocket-ship called the Spear of Selene as part of an ongoing plan to explore beyond Earth, but was opposed in her aspirations by her brother, Donald. Wanting to surprise Della, Scrooge had the Spear of Selene built, intending to give it to her after the boys were hatched.
However, Della discovered its existence earlier than expected and took it for what Scrooge believed was a test flight into Earth's orbit. Unfortunately, she ran into a cosmic storm, and decided to continue flying as Scrooge communicated with her through radio and screen transmission. A bolt of lightning struck the ship and Della was supposedly lost in space while losing contact with Scrooge as well. As a result of Della's disappearance, Donald became the guardian of her three sons, and he and Scrooge were estranged for ten years.

"ROSE QUARTZ!"
Blue Diamond spun, twirled and slashed her way through the battle field, her scythe gleaming bright blue as it slashed through anything unfortunate enough to be in her way. A blue aura projected itself from her, bathing the entire battlefield and everyone in it. The Gems that touched by the aura almost fell to their knees, tears dropping from their eyes like waterfall.
They all deserved to feel her pain.
Her rage.
Her pain.
And all of her sorrow.
But it was all directed on specific Gem: the one who was trying to flee from her.
"YOU CANNOT ESCAPE ME!" Blue Diamond bellowed as she chased after Rose who fled into the large forest. "I WILL HAVE YOUR SHARDS!"
Rose pressed her back to the trunk of a tree, panting slightly and spying Pearl and Garnet hiding nearby.
"Is this how you shattered her? Hiding away and striking while her back was turned? How fitting for such a traitor." Blue Diamond's voice echoed through the forest, her voice becoming calm and yet the anger and hate grew with each word. "Attacking your fellow Gems, shattering your Diamond and then running away. A disgrace to her soldiers and to her memory."
Rose gripped her sword. "She had her chance. Just as you have your chance. This planet does not belong to you."
"DO NOT PRESUME DICTATE MINE OR ANY DIAMOND'S CHOICES!" Blue bellowed, her voice so loud the entire forest shook. "YOU WERE MADE WITH A PURPOSE THAT YOU BETRAYED! YOU STARTED THIS WAR! YOU DARE TO DEMAND OF US BUT FLEE WHEN THE BATTLE TURNS AGAINST YOU! YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO ALL GEM KIND!"
Rose's eyes widened and she jumped forward, barely dodging the blade of Blue Diamond's scythe as it cut through the large tree she had been using as cover. Spinning around Rose barely had time to create her shield, blocking Blue Diamond's scythe but the force of the blow sent her flying through the woods, heavily impacting a tree enough that it fell over.
"Did you think you could simply shatter one of us and expect us to simply surrender?"
Rose looked up, watching as Blue Diamond slowly approached. The scythe in her hand, the aura expanding outward from her figure, her robe and hood flowing like water through it all…
Blue Diamond now represented the incarnation of death for all Gems.
"Listen well, Rose Quartz. I don't care about this planet you shatter to defend. I don't care what you rebels say to justify your treason. My only purpose in living now is to make you suffer." Blue Diamond spoke, her hood covering her eyes. "But you will not be simply shattered. I want you to imagine every horrible thing we might do to you…Because I want to do something worse."
"GET AWAY FROM HER!"
Pearl and Garnet leapt out of their hiding places to defend Rose from Blue Diamond. Garnet leapt up, aiming her fists to smash into Blue Diamond's head but the matriarch easily spun, almost making it look like she was dancing and then batted Garnet away with the blunt end of her scythe. It happened so fast that Garnet's future vision couldn't keep up with her.
"The Ruby and Sapphire who disrupted my court…Still parading around in that shameless fusion display." Blue Diamond spat as she towered over Garnet. "Did you hope to defeat me by simply attacking from behind or did you think your Future Vision would allow to predict my movements? Unfortunately for you the visions of a mere Sapphire are not enough to counter the power of a Diamond."
"But is the power of Diamond enough for a Gem fighting for freedom?"
Blue Diamond narrowed her eyes as Rose and Pearl leapt up to attack her. Spinning her scythe in one hand while channeling her powers into her other hand Blue Diamond became a whirlwind of death. She danced out of the way of incoming attacks, slashing at her enemies who barely evaded her blade by mere inches and using her free hand to conjure energy shields or blasts to keep the Crystal Gems from getting too close.
Blue Diamond was hailed as the most elegant of the Diamonds and it showed even in how she fought.
Her movement was like a ballet.
Her agility was virtually unmatched even though she was a giant compared to the Crystal Gems.
Her fighting style was fluid and yet vicious.
Her entire being trembled with rage but she tempered it with deadly focus.
She was the sea in all of its fury.
Even as Rose tried fusing with Pearl, forming Rainbow Quartz but that served only to further anger Blue Diamond.
"Pathetic!" Blue Diamond channeled her power directly into her scythe, releasing an energy arc that was only barely stopped by Rainbow Quartz summoning their shield and even then the force of the attack sent them flying back. "You cannot best me with one fusion so you thought two would make a difference? This is more than just pathetic, it's bad comedy."
Rainbow Quartz staggered to their feet as Garnet landed next to them. "We have to run, now."
"…I know." Rainbow Quartz placed a hand on the ground. "You might overpower us, Blue Diamond let's see if you can handle the Earth itself."
Blue Diamond stopped and watched as vines sprouted from the ground and trees surrounding her, Rose's power bringing life to them and commanding them to attack the matriarch. They lashed out quickly but Blue Diamond cut them to pieces in a matter of seconds. Some managed to grab her, slowing her down as the Crystal Gems began their retreat.
"NO! COME BACK! FACE ME!" Blue Diamond shouted, blasting the vines away as she tried to pursue. "COWARDS!"
As Rainbow Quartz unfused Rose looked back, watching as Blue Diamond's hood fell, revealing her tear streaked face and her eyes…
Eyes filled with unending hate and agony.
"NEVER FORGET THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL OF THIS, ROSE QUARTZ! I NAME YOU FOREVER; YOU ARE THE SHATTERER OF ENTIRE WORLDS!" Blue Diamond howled as she hacked and slashed her way through the attacking plant life but she knew she was too late to stop them from fleeing.
By the time she made it out of the forest the Crystal Gems were long gone…
And her pain only grew with her failure to avenge Pink.

"And you got picked up by a Gem scout ship two months later?"
Bonnibel Bubblegum hadn't known what to expect in this Special Zone but she was surprised to find out how not only advanced they, even under the thumb of the Gems but that their new head of science was actually a Mobian found almost ten years ago!
Della Duck, wearing the uniform of the Blue Division nodded as she showed Bonnibel the schematics to her ship. "This was my ship. The Spear of Selene. I built as part of an idea I had when I gave birth to my boys…Or rather the eggs holding my boys."
"But what did you use to power it? It couldn't have been Dust. All forms of Dust, even the high powered and illegal ones lose their energy outside of the Earth's atmosphere." Bonnibel pointed out.
"I know. My uncle at the time was working on experimental source power outside of Dust. My friend Gyro created the engines to be powered by gold." Della answered.
Bonnibel raised an eyebrow. "Gold? Your ship was powered by gold?"
Della chuckled and nodded. "Surprising, huh? A way to turn one of Earth's most valuable riches into a new source of power and we have higher abundances of it than even Dust."
"Yet it would still be a fast way for the rich to lose what makes them rich in the first place." Bonnibel said thoughtfully.
"True but what made my uncle so rich in the first place was because he didn't think like typical billionaires." Della replied. "Ever since I got here I've been working on building a new ship. The problem is that there is no gold here and the Gems aren't gullible enough to give away anything that I can convert into an engine. I spent the last ten years stealing away the metal that I can use to build the hull and the frame but we're still in a pocket dimension."
"That is a conundrum." Bonnibel agreed. "We would have to get the ship through the warp pad which is routinely guarded and sealed off from the rest of the zone."
"And it leads right into the palace of the Diamonds." Della continued. "And even if we take off, we'd have the entire Gem armada on us in a matter of minutes. They are capable of traveling across galaxies, my ship isn't."
"So in layman's terms, the chances of escape are very slim." Bonnibel sighed. "At the very least we are kept well fed and healthy here but I worry it's only a matter of time before we grow too complacent in our stay here."
"The only thing keeping me going is the thought of reuniting with my boys." Della sighed as she sat down. "Ten years now…I missed out on so much now because I didn't want to wait. The Spear was meant to be the start of a new era, one where we could find a world without the Grimm. Finding a new world, starting the building blocks of Earth's first colony."
"It sounds laudable." Bonnibel admitted. "My people have almost never journeyed off our island, not even to make a small colony on one of the surrounding islands. Our isolation was brought on by fear of humanity alongside the Grimm."
"And meanwhile, humanity is tearing itself apart between the Grimm and its own petty prejudices." Della drawled. "This is why I started the Spear of Selene. I thought it would be beacon of hope we all needed. Or maybe I was deluding myself…"
"A dream of a better future is never a delusion." Bonnibel stated truthfully. "Yes, your mistake brought you here, away from your children but maybe…Maybe it can still be the start of your dream. Look around you, Della. Humans, Faunus and Mobians living in peace and harmony, yes under the watchful eye of the Gems but the fact that they can even live together means it is possible. We just have to learn how to do it…Without outside help like the Gems have provided."
"Excuse me, DEL-LA."
Della and Bonnibel turned around; spotting a young human girl wearing blue sailor uniform at the door. "Shope, what can I do for you?"
"U-Twelve would like your help." The girl Della had named Shope answered. "One of the new arrivals showed something strange in their scans."
"Something strange?" Della asked, sharing a look with Bonnibel.
Shope projected a bubble around the three of them that phased through the floor. When the bubble faded Bonnibel looked around, seeing she was in a new room that resembled a lab and in the center was… "Eddy?"
Eddy was suspended in what appeared a stasis field, unable to move or talk as other members of the Blue Division worked at their stations.
"What is going on?" Bonnibel asked.
"This is what we would like to know." A voice spoke from behind, revealing to be U-Twelve. "As per regulations all knew arrivals were submitted to scan and physical examination before being sorted into their division. The one called ED-DY showed abnormal DNA in its systems." She brought up an image for the two to see. "It is not human."
Bonnibel looked over the DNA scans, seeing the differences from regular human DNA. "How is this possible?"
"We do not know but we have brought subject: ED-DY here for a deep examination. We do not know if it presents a danger to the rest of the zone." U-Twelve continued.
"You are not going to harm him." Bonnibel said as she might have been a scientist herself she did not dissect live specimens.
"That would be against our laws. Our scans are completely harmless and un-invasive." U-Twelve replied. "Given that one half of his DNA does not match that of a human or any other Earthling we can only surmise he is some sort of hybrid."
"A hybrid?" Bonnibel and Della questioned, looking at the trapped subject and the scared look on his face.
"Yes. Perhaps the very first of his kind." U-Twelve nodded. "We want to scan him more deeply and ensure he is not a threat to us or the Gems."
"Do the Gems know?" Della asked, taking a look at the scans.
"No, not yet." U-Twelve answered.
Bonnibel let out a small sigh of relief, not sure what to expect if the Gems knew of some kind of new hybrid in their special containment area.

"Wh-Wha?!"
"What's going on?!"
"An Alarm."
The Ice and Candy Elementals had shot up in their bed at the sound of the city wide alarm…and jumped when they saw Ed sleeping at the foot of the bed again.
"Ed!" Both shouted, waking the lovable lump.
"Who's there?" Ed asked, smiling dumbly as he sat up.
"Intruders have been detected within the city." Ice Pearl said, placing a hand on the screen. "Yellow Diamond has ordered an immediate lockdown."
Nigel and Abby shared a look, wondering if the intruders were here to rescue them.
"There is also a summons…Blue Diamond is ordering the Elementals be brought to her in her sanctum." The Ice Pearl stated. "We must move."
A second later they were all in a huge bubble that shot out of the room, heading towards Blue Diamond's palace.

The hunt for the intruders continued with Homeworld's armies continuing to chase after Krunk and Valhallen and they were certainly making the Gems work for it. Krunk could leap over tall buildings, moving as fast as fighter jet with Valhallen keeping up by using his Mighty Axe as a flying board. They flew all over the place, leading the Gems on a merry ride.
"They keeping the pace, Krunk?" Valhallen asked as he and Krunk flew over another Gem skyscraper.
Krunk looked over his shoulder, seeing the Gems starting to pull back. "Gems not following."
"That's not a good sign. We got to keep leading them on." Valhallen said as Krunk landed in what appeared to be a large arena with the Viking God of Rock landing next to him. "We'll give them a few seconds to catch up before we take off. If there's one thing I know is that Gems can be predictable once you figure them out."
"Then I guess you will be surprised." A stern female voice said.
Both Justice Friends looked up, seeing Yellow Diamond herself standing in front of a giant yellow next to three more colored white, blue and pink. The matriarch leapt up and landed a few yards away from the two, standing up and holding a scabbard with a sword inside.
"Yellow Diamond." Valhallen held up his Mighty Axe. "I figured I'd be seeing you."
"And I was expecting someone else, Asgardian. I was expecting Thor Odinson." Yellow Diamond retorted, her voice holding a strange tone as she spoke Thor's name. "Not some no name jester and a purple abomination."
Krunk growled, stomping the ground so hard that cracks started to form. "Giant lady not talk nice to Krunk. Krunk ready to smash."
"Don't rush in, Krunk. She's going to be tough for the both of us." Valhallen said, patting Krunk on the shoulder before addressing Yellow Diamond. "I might not be the one you were expecting I share his blood. I am Valhalla Odinson, Prince of Asgard, Viking God of Rock and I'm here to bring back the Elementals that you kidnapped."
Yellow Diamond raised an eyebrow. "So, Thor has a sibling. Interesting but nothing to be bothered about. As for your mission…No organic ever dictates the actions of a Diamond, not even an Asgardian. You have trespassed on our domain, damaged our city and now you dare make orders of me." She bent her knees slightly, preparing to charge with one hand holding her scabbard and the other placed on the hilt of her sword. "Asgard, Earth, you will all remember to fear us and our power."
"Funny. I was about to say the same thing to you." Valhallen said, him and Krunk ready to take one of the most powerful beings in the known universe.
The battle between an Empress against a Prince and the Earth's Mightiest Mortal had begun.

The Copter drones took the four members of Team CROW up to the Gem City, finally reaching above the clouds and saw the city.
"Man…This is kind of cool." Wally whispered as the drones finally reached a level to drop the four.
Omnimon landed first, making sure Wally was next, followed by Cree and Mr. Roboto. "All right. Now we need to find them."
"So where do we start?" Wally asked.
"I believe I can answer." Obsidian spoke through one of the Copter drones, pointing at the giant blue complex. "Scanners indicate the Elementals are in the palace of Blue Diamond. Scanning for enemies…Yellow Diamond too far to return in time to stop us and White Diamond is aboard her ship. Gem Homeworld's military has been mobilized so aside from minor security the path is clear. Retrieve the Elementals and then return to us."
"Yeah, yeah, go blow it out your tail pipe." Wally waved off Obsidian's instructions, walking away from the platform. "Let's find my friends and get out of here."
Omnimon followed after the boy with Cree and Mr. Roboto right behind him while the Copter drones hovered back down below the city.
"Gelorum, team CROW has entered the city. Scans show the Elementals are in the palace of Blue Diamond."
"Excellent work. Gather your drones. I will be sending Jetstorm, Thrust and Tankor to join you."
"Understood."
Xxx
When the bubble surrounding them vanished the Elementals found themselves staring at water. It was a giant rectangular pool with three large steps and three large pipers underneath them in which water flowed in the center of a platform in the center of a giant room surrounded by rivers and waterfall cascading down in front of them. Blue Diamond was kneeling before the largest of the waterfalls, her Pearl standing next to her. Each of the four corners of the pool is decorated with one of the four colors from the original Great Diamond Authority symbol.
At the bottom of the pool is a drain stopper modeled after the original Great Diamond Authority logo.
"You are here. That is good." Blue Diamond lowered her hood, looking slightly relieved.
"Hi Blue!" Ed waved a hand, ignoring the Pearls looking shocked at how he addressed their Diamond. "What's going on?"
"We are…under attack." Blue Diamond said, slightly put off by Ed's smiling face that once again reminded her of…Pink. "I was instructed by White to keep you three safe while Yellow dealt with the intruders."
"Do you have any idea who it is?" Nigel asked once gathering enough courage to ask.
"No, we do not. Homeworld has never been attacked before, ever. We do not even know how the intruders arrived." Blue Diamond answered, her face now more neutral as she considered just how it was possible for anyone, even Asgardians to attack the capital of the Gem Empire. "Regardless, Yellow is personally leading Homeworld's forces to hunt them down."
Xxx
Obsidian had been right when he said the path to Blue Diamond's palace had been cleared. There had only been a few security Gems that Team CROW had easily snuck past. While the path was mostly clear it was still a long journey and the entrance was guarded by a pair of Amethysts.
"So, we take out the guards and knock down the door." Wally said, hiding behind a wall nearby with the rest of CROW.
"Take out the guards, yes. Knock the door down, no." Cree said, speaking for the first time.
She didn't pay attention to how her voice sounded similar to Abby, yet another reminder of her relation to the Candy Elemental.
"Roboto." Cree said to the robot who wheeled out and approached the entrance.
"You there! Halt!" The Amethysts shouted, ready to attack.
A compartment on Mr. Roboto's chest opened up and from it came a blast of energy resembling electricity that hit the Gems and their forms exploded, leaving behind only their gemstones.
"Let's go." Cree said, coming out of their hiding place and approached the doors.
Sharing a look with each other for a second, Wally and Omnimon followed the door as Mr. Roboto placed a hand on the wall screen next to the door and decoded the Gem security codes.
"How is it hacking into that?" Omnimon asked. "It's obvious the technology is more advanced than anything on Earth so I don't see how it possible for your machine, no matter how advanced it is to easily hack into programming vastly different."
"Gelorum and Sammael familiarized themselves with Gem tech long before this mission." Cree answered as the door opened. "Roboto's been programmed with all information on Gem language, codes and anything else we might need. Now come on."
The team entered the palace, moving through the blue colored halls as they searched for the Elementals. As they moved past statues on the walls, none of them noticed the eyes of the statues watching them.
Xxx
"My Diamond." Blue Diamond glanced up as her Pearl reached the platform. "We have intruders in the palace."
"What?" Blue Diamond stood up, shocked by the news. "Are you sure?"
"Yes. They are approaching the Room of a Thousand Fountains." Blue Pearl nodded. "They appear to be Earthlings."
"Earthlings?" Blue Diamond questioned, her surprise mirrored by Nigel and Abby. "Are you sure?"
"Yes, My Diamond." Blue Pearl answered.
Seeing her Pearl was not lying to her Blue Diamond decided what to do. "Pearl, look after the Elementals. I will see these Earthlings myself."
"Yes, My Diamond."
Xxx
"Where the crud are they?!"
Wally was starting to lose patience they ran through hallways, passing large arena and coming upon a giant room with a dozen water fountains.
"They are close by. Roboto's sensors points in this direction." Cree said, pointing to large pair of doors at the other end of the room.
Just as they started walking the doors opened to reveal Blue Diamond herself. The team stopped as they came face to face with one of the rulers of the Gem Empire.
"So the reports are true." Blue Diamond spoke softly, staring at the team. "Earthlings, here in my palace and on Homeworld."
"All right, lady! We're here for my friends!" Wally stepped forward but Omnimon pulled him back. "So you going to get out of our way or do things have to get rough?"
Blue Diamond raised an eyebrow. "It has been a long time since an organic has spoken to me like that. It was back on Earth during the war…Now it seems the war has come to Homeworld."
Omnimon stepped forward, brandishing his sword. "Go. I'll hold her off."
Blue Diamond seemed amused now. "Hold me off. It seems Earth has indeed forgotten about us. Forgotten the power of a Diamond."
As she spoke, her signature azure colored aura surrounded her.
'So this Blue Diamond is using something like Aura? I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. If I can use it, then it's not limited to organics.' Omnimon mused, knowing this would be a difficult fight.
"Though I have no wish to harm creatures from her planet…" Blue Diamond summoned a sphere of light in her hand. "Do not mistake my reluctance as a weakness."
She then threw the sphere and the battle between Empress and Royal Knight had begun.
