Opening File: Jujunga

The rogue hunter name Jujunga was born into a reclusive tribe living in Australia. There he was raised to be a skilled hunter without relying on the modern ways and technologies that had spread across the rest of the world. He learned how to track through dangerous environments, stealthily avoid almost all forms of detection and was a prodigy in the art of creating any form of poison both lethal and non-lethal. He had been training all of his life to one day take his father's place as chief but disliked politics, especially when the tribe became frequently hired by the rest of Australia for various jobs including protection and assassination, especially when the Satyra began influencing the Faunus population into feuding with the Humans.

Jujunga spoke against his tribe being used as a gang of thugs for whatever political agenda the government or anyone else. This led to a rift forming between him and the rest of the tribe as they had become dependent on the missions being offered to them. Rather than accept being a glorified leg breaker for anyone offering bags of money Jujunga left the tribe, taking very little with him aside from his Didgeridoo that doubled as both an instrument and weapon. Taking off into the wild Jujunga found himself wandering the world, searching for a purpose.

He easily took down any Grimm or bandits that sought to rob or kill him but saw no satisfaction in his achievements. Everywhere he went he saw people who were weak, blinded by greed and dependent on their wish to advance in order to preserve their own self comforts. He found no need for technology or self-comforts that anyone would have in their home.

The Earth itself was his house.

Its plant and wildlife were his breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The sky was his roof, telling when to sleep and he had all the comforts he would need for rest almost anywhere he went.

And yet in the entire world he was alone with no one to understand his ideals, his respect for the wilds, his disgust for callous and greedy politics and the damage they had done to his precious beautiful world. Soon enough his anger grew enough that he started attacking places where industry grew by damaging the beautiful environment. He quickly became known to the rest of the world as an eco-terrorist but always evaded capture. His skills for survival out in the wild were enough that many claimed he could travel through air, fire and water.

What he became famously known for was his expertise in rare chemicals that allowed him to make dangerous forms of poison but even explosives and dangerous corrosive gels. Jujunga 's infamy rose higher and it became clear that he would not be taken alive. A bounty offering over a hundred million technos was offered to anyone who could find him and bring him in dead or otherwise. It seemed Jujunga's days were numbered.

However he disappeared following his last attack on a company known as Cyperbiotics that was cutting trees in Guatemala. It was only later discovered he had been approached by a stranger in black with Grimm eyes who offered him aid in striking back at humanity for their cruelty and Jujunga would accept.

Opening File: Sir James

Sir James also known by his Alias of The Gentleman and Gentle-Jim, is a Class V Rogue Hunter. He is also a follower of the Fallen Sammael, and a member of the group Invisible Hand as well as a member of Team JJIBA (Sheba). Born in Mexico James came from a family that was quite wealthy and proud of their warrior bloodline. His parents were stern with him, teaching him the finer arts of nobility and how to act with the lower class.

However James' teachings fell short when he witnessed the actions of the heroic Hunters and Villains in Mexico, seeing them above the wealth of his family since money mattered little to those who had the power and skills to take or save whoever or whatever they chose. Deciding to choose the professional career of a Hunter James chose a simple sword that belonged to his grandfather and hired a professional trainer to teach how to wield it. It soon became clear that James was a natural learner but due to the sheltered he had with his family he was driven to prove himself worthy of being a Hunter without the family wealth to back him up. His parents, though disappointed in becoming a Hunter since they believed all who choose so would die long before their time and worried that if James would die before he left an heir to their family fortune, were still proud of his drive to succeed.

Working himself hard to achieve only the best results in the art of the sword James attended a combat school where he awakened his Aura and later his Semblance which he spent over a year mastering. Sir James soon received an invitation to join Lucha Academy, the main Hunter academy in Mexico but refused when he saw the regulations insisted on wearing a mask. He preferred to have his face seen so anyone who crossed him would know the face of the man they would regret challenging. He instead requested for a private course, working with a veteran Hunter who would teach him and then bestow him his rank and Huntsmen privileges.

However his parents had enough and demanded James to cease his Hunter training and focus on the family matters. James refused and when his parents threatened to disown him he left his family home with nothing but a gentleman outfit, a red cape and his grandfather's sword. Free from his former constrictions James would amass quite the reputation around Mexico, defeating Grimm, bandits and even villains in almost every fight. Many groups, both hero and villain would come to him and offer him membership but each time he would refuse, believing a true Hunter's allegiance was to no group or country but to the people they were sworn to protect.

His skills eventually reached Sartana of the Dead who appeared before him, telling him that Mexico would one day belong to her and if he was not with her he was against her. James still refused and Sartana attempted to strike him down. Fortunately help arrived in the form of Mexican hero White Pantera who along with James forced Sartana to retreat. White Pantera asked him his name and he answered 'James'.

Believing him to be a hero White Pantera said that using his true name and face was too dangerous to his friends and family and warned him to hide his identity to protect them. James however rebuked him, saying he had no family. White Pantera simply watched as he left but would soon see him again. Sartana sought revenge on James and did so by framing him for several murders, all of which had the victims being killed swiftly by a sword. James soon found himself fleeing from heroes, police and villains all over Mexico.

He attempted to proclaim his innocence each time but his claims fell on deaf ears. The heroes distrusted him for his reclusive nature, the police saw only another criminal and the villains saw him as another bounty to turn in and claim the reward. He fought back, becoming more and more aggressive and seemingly breaking his gentleman image to escape the law that had turned on him. He soon came to realize that Huntsmen were not as honorable as he believed for having so easily believed him to be the culprit and that his only reason for becoming one was to be excel and to push himself to be the best and thus abandoned his Huntsmen license, seeing no use for it.

Deciding he would find no sanctuary in Mexico since the heroes would try to arrest him while villains like Sartana would try to recruit he chose to flee. It was then he encountered a stranger in black with red eyes who offered him a new life where his skills would truly be put to the test. James initially refused but the stranger offered him a deal as he summoned a black sword: defeat him in combat and the stranger would leave him forever but if the stranger won then James would hear his story and proposal. James accepted, confident he would easily win.

And for the first time ever, James lost in the dance of the blade.

Despite his skills and abilities the stranger would display much greater mastery of the sword, trouncing James. The stranger held his sword to James' throat, expressing his respect for the man's skill and believing it was not his destiny to die in the homeland that cast him out. The stranger repeated his offer but added a new one.

From this day forward he would be known as Sir James, the Gentleman.

Sir James, awed by the man's skills and powers agreed to hear the man out. The stranger revealed his name and true self to James, showing his power and his ambitions to forever change the world and that it would be the challenge he offered to James. He showed James that the world before him was an illusion, a mask for a greater conflict that was worthy of his skills and James, filled with awe then sword to follow him and become part of the great conflict and change.

The stranger in black with the eyes of the Grimm beckoned him forward and the Gentleman followed.

Opening File: Boris

Boris is a rogue Class V Huntsman, who is a member of the Invisible Hand, subordinate to the Fallen Sammael, and a member of Team JJIBA. Born in Russia Boris was recruited into a special training program when he was about six years old along twenty other orphans or children who were given up by their parents. The goal of the program was to create a super hunter whose might would rival the likes of Major Glory, the Infraggable Krunk and Big Ben. From the first day his Aura was awakened and was trained in the art of battle.

While learning how to fight the recruits were also given minor doses of the very same drug that created Grappulator of the Injustice Friends: Scourge. The doses were small enough that they did become addicted to it and were treated with sound therapy while they slept to not only ensure their loyalty but also help develop muscle growth and recovery, stronger bones, improved eyesight, heightened memory and intelligence. By the time he was fourteen Boris had already gained the body of trained soldier, showing his trainers to be a prodigy when he defeated most of them in combat. However what kept Boris from becoming the best was his temper as the more he fought the more aggressive he became to the point that his peers became afraid of him.

Boris was born with a genetic mutation that had already made his bones much denser than any normal child and his training in the special program only increased his strength to the point it was believed he would be able to fight against heroes like Big Ben and Krunk and win. However this same gift also came with a weakness in the form of his aggression. His natural anger and rage made it almost impossible to control him as he grew older and he often forgot the program's teachings that focused on strategy and creativity. The director of the program deemed Boris too dangerous to be set loose and thus decided he would be imprisoned and terminated before he became a danger.

However Boris awakened his Semblance and used it to escape, killing the rest of the recruits along with the director before smashing his way out of the hidden base. Refusing to be anyone's weapon Boris fled into the wilderness where he would be hunted. Out in the cold wilderness that became his home Boris would hide from the world, sinking deeply into anger and rage for what had been done to him. His anger attracted the Grimm and he brutally slew any that came after him. He was always angry and thus always attracted more and more Grimm.

And then one day his rage would summon a stranger in black with eyes similar to those of the Grimm.

The stranger came before him, attempting to speak but Boris did not hear. He simply saw another puny little man to crush and swatted at him with his fist.

That was his first mistake.

The stranger easily blocked said fist, repelling the giant's strength so easily Boris was left as still and speechless as a statue. The stranger in black seemed amused by his attempt to kill him and asked him one question:

'Is that all you can do?'

His rage washing over him Boris attempted to break the stranger who dared to question his strength. What happened next was not so much of a fight as it was…a game. The stranger would dodge his fists and clubs as if they were playing a game of tag. His anger rising and building caused Boris to lash out, promising to shatter the man's bones for humiliating him.

However instead of the stranger being broken it was Boris who would be broken.

The man decided to end their game and went on the attack, his strength at first rivaling and then surpassing Boris' which deeply shocked the giant to the point he did not feel pain as his arms and legs were broken.

No one had ever overpowered him in strength before.

Boris stared up into the red eyes of the man staring down at him, shaking his head in disappointment. He turned to leave but Boris called out to him, demanding who he was and how was he so strong. The stranger turned around to answer.

'I was born in a place where one must be broken first and then remade to become truly strong. Those that are broken understand the world better than anyone, learning and healing to become something…pure. If you wish to become truly strong then come with me and I will mend that which is broken and you will see the true definition of strength.'

Boris accepted and with a wave of his hand the stranger took him to a place deep in darkness where he was healed and found others like him who were broken but remade into something stronger than before.

It was here Boris learned of true strength.

And what it would mean for the entire world.

"The thing about being a free people is that it means people are allowed to feel and think however they choose. People are allowed to feel happiness, sadness and even anger any time no matter the circumstances. From there just about anything can happen, including unexpected violence. No matter smart you might be you never predict how people might think or feel." TOM remarked as the file closed. "It's important to be prepared to talk things out when they might escalate. Not every fight is won with fists and weapons and not every solution ends with one side winning."

Xxx

As soon as the forest grew around them Monty grabbed Omnimon and took off running, trying to follow Cree who had kidnapped her own sister along with his son. He didn't want to believe the worst but he had a bad feeling that Abby's sister was perhaps working with the sort of people she attempt to keep Abby from and that was not good at all. It didn't help that Omnimon himself had been injured earlier and that was after the battles he had been through on the Gem Homeworld so he was also likely to be tired as well. As much as he wanted to save the children he couldn't leave Omni behind, not after the Royal Knight had risked everything to save him and his family again.

First he would find a place where Omni could rest and then work on tracking down Nigel and Abby.

"Mo…Monty…" He heard Omnimon mumbled as he carried the Royal Knight on his back. "You have to…leave me…find them…"

"We don't leave our friends or family behind, old chap. You didn't leave us back on that planet, I'm not leaving you behind either." Monty replied as he ran through the forest.

"I'll only slow you down…It's me they're after…" Omnimon grunted. "It was me the whole time…Sammael, he had this set up right from the beginning and I walked into it."

"And we'll get you out of it." Monty replied, hopping over a large log. "Abby's sister could not have gotten far. Even if she's working for them the Darklands are infested with Grimm. She can't go too far away and risk running into a herd of Grimm that may not be under orders to refrain from harming her or the kids."

"All the more reason you should leave me behind. I can hold off anyone who comes after us and buy you time." Omnimon suggested.

"Wouldn't matter anyways. The Elementals are not expendable, you and I are. You think anyone who is not an Elemental will be allowed to leave alive? Sammael might not care about ending my life as much as ending yours but he's not going to lose sleep over it." Monty reasoned. "We can't be divided on this. The Fallen work best in the shadows, seeking to divide us and take away our hope. If we are to have any chance of surviving this day to live many more with any form of joy we have to remember we're stronger together than apart. That means we are also stronger with you than without you, Omni. Don't turn us away when you need us more than ever."

Omnimon grew quite from Monty's words, allowing the man to focus on the path in front of him.

And the obstacles that appeared.

"Well, you certainly gave us a chase."

Monty stopped, allowing Omnimon to stand on his feet with one arm kept over his shoulder as they stared down the three newcomers.

"No need for fear, my good sir." The man in the middle stepped forward. "Before we make our intentions known I believe introductions are in order first. I am Sir James, member of the Invisible Hand. With me are my comrades: Jujanga."

He gestured to the dark skinned man who wore nothing but a black loincloth and had tribal tattoos all over his body white face paint. He carried what seemed to be a wooden instrument but there was likely more to it than that.

"And Boris."

The next was a giant hulking man wearing armor and a helmet that covered the top of his head and two clubs were strapped to his back.

"And we are here with an urgent matter concerning the one known as Omnimon, Second in Command of the Royal Knights, better known here as the Grimm Slayer." James said, pointing to Omnimon.

"And what is your business with my friend?" Monty questioned, remaining on guard.

"I'm afraid our employer has ordered your friend's immediate termination. You however are exempt from his orders and thus if you agree to not stand in our way we will allow you to leave." James said, sounding completely honest.

"A nice offer. However," Monty clenched a fist that was immediately engulfed in white fire. "I do not leave friends to die."

Sir James sighed. "It was worth a try."

"Monty…" Omnimon glanced at his friend, knowing they were outnumbered and that more would come.

"Even if they let me leave now, chap there is guarantee that any of the others will let me live if I try to save the kids. Like it or not we are stuck together." Monty replied, knowing Omni's feelings. "Can you still fight?"

Omnimon nodded, knowing the Data Recovery aspect of his Semblance was already at work on healing him. That meant he couldn't use any other parts of his Semblance but he could still fight.

"Good. Hopefully we can make this quick." Monty said, facing down the three Invisible Hand members.

"You're right. This will be quick." James nodded in agreement. "From one swordsman to another I challenge the Grimm Slayer to a dual."

Omnimon watched as James pulled out the very same sword that had stabbed him in the shoulder. "So it was your blade."

"Yes. Impressive isn't it?" James said, showing the blade to his opponent. "It is called Void. It was forged and enchanted by Sammael himself to negate any and all forms of energy on contact."

Negate any and all forms of energy? That explained how it easily passed through his Brave Shield and why he felt so weak when it was embedded in his shoulder. His Aura, Semblance and the rest of his power had been completely negated by that sword.

'That sword is extremely dangerous.' Omnimon thought, summoning his Grey Sword.

"Hold on! If you any bit as honorable as you act you'd allow Omni to recover. He's weary from the earlier fight." Monty stepped in.

"Very well." James pulled out a pill and tossed it to the Omnimon who caught it. "Swallow that and it will replenish your Aura. That should be enough to satisfy our audience."

"If you think I am standing around and watching-" Monty started but was stopped as Boris stepped forward.

"Boris had enough! No talk! FIGHT!" Boris then charged straight at Monty, pulling out his clubs. "BREAK ANNOYING MAN!"

Monty thrust a first forward, releasing a stream of white fire at Boris who ran straight into it and then emerged from it completely unscathed. Eyes widening Monty hastily dodged the club that would have literally smashed him into pieces.

"Monty!" Omnimon called out but James stood in his way.

"I suggest if you want to help your friend you hurry and win." Sir James said, shedding his cloak.

He held his sword, giving the Royal Knight a warrior's salute by holding his sword vertically in front of his face. Narrowing his eyes and seeing he had no choice Omnimon swallowed the pill and felt his strength rapidly return. He was still injured but the rejuvenated Aura allowed his Semblance to work faster.

'The problem I have now is that my Semblance is locked into Data Recovery and the rest of my powers are cancelled out by that sword. I knew Sammael would try something but I couldn't have predicted this. If all my attacks are cancelled out I'll just have to rely on my sword and skills against him.' Omnimon contemplated, raising his sword and returned James' salute. 'If I take him out quick I can help Monty out against the other two.'

Grinning now James charged forward with Omni doing the same, clashing their blades together and creating a shockwave blew the dirt on the ground under them away. James withdrew immediately after and swung around, slashing at Omnimon's midsection. The Royal Knight blocked and retaliated but James sidestepped his swing, twirling his blade and slashed at Omni's head. Omnimon was forced to move his head side to side as he parried his opponent's sword.

So far Omnimon's reflexes allowed him to keep up but he quickly understood that James had the skills of a master swordsman and he was fast and agile enough that he was actually proving to be a match for the Royal Knight. James focused on deflecting each attack and his footwork to outmaneuver and control the invisible line between him and his opponent to analyze his style for signs of weaknesses while maintaining a safe distance to attack and retreat. Omnimon in the meantime struck with high speed blows and lashed out with his free fist or feet when he had the chance to batter away at his opponent's defenses. They battled down the road, their weapons moving too fast for the eye to see.

Omnimon clearly had more experience as his techniques and movements were done without a single flaw but James' unique fighting style allowed him to hold his own against the Royal Knight. He aimed his sword at his arms and legs after understanding Omnimon's fighting style, attempting to disable or disarm him while at the same time using the occasional punch, kick, or flip when called for. Omnimon swung his blade while James parried and ducked as Omnimon lashed out with a kick to his head and pivoted on his right foot, maneuvering around the Digimon and slashed at his back. Omnimon spun on his other foot and blocked the crystalline blade.

He lashed out with his Grey Sword, slashing aggressively while James dodged or parried his attacks. James caught Omnimon's sword as he slashed at him again and altered the angle, causing it to extend out and leave Omnimon vulnerable which James tried take advantage with a quick but non-life threatening thrust to his rib section. He jumped back and landed a few feet away and looked down to see a slash on his armor.

Looking up he watched as James settled into a ready stance. "You're more skilled than I thought."

It was obvious he was very skilled and his sword style focused on trying to sneak past his guard to incapacitate him using incredibly precise strikes and parries while maintaining a proper distance to keep him from retaliating. He nearly succeeded as he launched a series of thrusts at his feet or slashes at his arms when he launched a punch or kick or when he used any aerial attacks against him.

He barely managed to avoid losing an arm or leg more than once thanks to his reflexes and experience.

"A compliment from the Grimm Slayer. I'm flattered." James said genuinely. "Still though, I cannot afford to keep this fight up for too much longer. I would like to end this appropriately for a swordsman but I am pressed for time."

He sported several cuts on his outfit and armor as well but like Omnimon he was relatively unharmed.

"Don't let me interrupt your busy day." Omnimon retorted. "You may have a weapon that cancels out my power but I won't make it easy."

"I know." James nodded. "Fortunately I detest using my Semblance in uneven battle so I'll hold off on using it until I am forced to use it."

And with that both warriors charged forward, clashing their swords and creating a powerful shockwave that shook the trees around them, some were even starting to crack open and about to fall over. Omnimon and James clashed their blades again, causing another shockwave that caused a few buildings to fall over. James blocked and then attacked whenever he had the chance. He twirled his sword in his hands as he launched himself forward in a complex series of spins and turns.

Omnimon found himself on the defensive as she ducked, jumped, or evaded out of the way of each strike, using his armored arms as a shield when he could not dodge. A few seconds into the battle and both opponents found they were evenly matched. Omnimon's skills and his reflexes were cancelled out by James' skill, agility and smaller form. Omnimon stepped back, trying to gain some breathing room. He didn't want to admit it but he was being pushed back while this Human was constantly on the offence.

He needed to get in close and take away his special sword to end this battle. If he could not use his powers against James directly he would have to go about it another way.

He decided the best option and pointed his right arm/Garurumon head forward. "Garuru Cannon!"

A barrage of energy blasts shot forward and James readied himself. Only a few were aimed at him and he easily cut through them with his sword while the rest hit either the ground or a few of the trees, kicking up dust and causing tree branches to fall. Narrowing his eyes before closing them James remained calm, listening for movement and in the surrounding dust cloud.

"Impressive. Using the environment to your advantage." James complimented, holding Void vertically in front of his face like a warrior's salute for lowering it to his side. "A cunning tactic against the uninitiated but we are initiated, aren't we Grimm Slayer? Brothers brought together by the way of the sword."

There was a burst of movement and James raised his sword over his head and angling it down, blocking a quick strike at his neck. Omnimon had attempted to use the blunt end of his sword to knock James unconscious.

"As such, you can't expect to win simply by trying to knock me out." James opened his eyes. "But since you are using your powers…"

SLASH!

Omnimon's eyes widened as he grunted, looking down and seeing a slash mark on his knee.

"I consider it justification for using my Semblance." James finished, raising his free hand and making a slashing move with just two fingers.

SLASH!

Another slash mark appeared on Omnimon's chest.

"How in the-" Omnimon jumped back, feeling his Semblance at work on healing him already but stayed back. "Your Semblance…You can cut your opponent with some sort of…invisible blade."

"I prefer to call it Phantom Blade." James corrected. "The ability to project an invisible blade from any point on my body." A leaf fell down in front of him as he blinked and it was slashed to pieces. "Including my eyes."

Omnimon narrowed his eyes as he realized just how bad things really were for him.

A Semblance that conjures invisible blades combined with a sword that can negate any form of energy that it comes into contact with?

That was an extremely bad combination to be facing against. His own skills and reflexes had kept him alive in this fight but James had managed to keep up with him and cancelled out his powers. If he was going to start using his Semblance then Omnimon would be at a greater disadvantage.

"So, shall we continue?" James held up his blade.

"Mind if we cut in?"

Narrowing his eyes James looked over his shoulder, spotting two unwelcome visitors. "General Skarr and Katz."

Omnimon was not pleased to see them either, watching as both emerged from the shadows, stopping just behind James. Katz was the first ever foe Omnimon faced since arriving in this universe. Since his defeat at the 'hands' of the Royal Knight, the Mobian had been plotting his defeat. Skarr on the other hand was his first ever real threat that Omnimon faced when he almost killed Nigel and Abby.

"Why are you here? Sammael ordered you to take care of the Asgardian, the Infraggable Krunk and to retrieve the Slime Elemental." James said, keeping his eyes trained on Omnimon but angled his body to make sure neither his allies could move without him seeing.

"A personal matter I have been meaning to resolve with the Grimm Slayer. I left the matter of the Slime Elemental with my team. The duck can manage them without my help." Katz reasoned.

"That does not matter. Sammael instructed you to bring the Slime Elemental to him, alive and unharmed. Passing off your duties to your team is no excuse to carry out your own self interests." James retorted, his voice growing in disapproval but remained calm. "The Grimm Slayer's defeat was made my priority, not yours."

"You were taking too long." Skarr said, pointing his rifle at Omnimon.

"And your excuse, General Skarr?" James asked.

"I am not disobeying orders. I was instructed to keep the Grimm back while our foes were dealt with but I was also allowed to take part in the battles if I believed anyone was about to escape or if my comrades were somehow compromised." Skarr reasoned. "Like Katz I have my own score to settle with the Grimm Slayer. Allow us to help you and we'll finish him off."

"No." James surprised them by turning around and pointing his blade at them instead of Omnimon. "You will not interfere in this."

"You dare point your sword, the weapon given to you by Sammael himself at us?" Skarr growled.

"I will not allow you to interfere in my battle. This is between me and Omnimon. No one else." James said sternly. "Go back to your posts and I won't tell Sammael of your insubordination."

Katz narrowed his eyes, trying to make eye contact with James but the gentleman held his sword in front of his eyes, forcing Katz to look at his own reflection. The Mobian growled and flinched, realizing what would happen if he tried using his Semblance.

"I will only warn you last time." James said, his tone much colder than before.

"You would fight us on behalf of the enemy?" Skarr's rifle changed into its broadsword form. "Turning traitor now are we?"

"I could say the same for two of you." James retorted.

Omnimon looked back and forth, conflicted on what he should do next. One on hand he could flee and leave them to fight amongst each other but on the other James seemed to be an honorable man who turned to fight his own comrades simply for turning against their leader's orders. If he fled there was a likely chance he was sentencing James to die.

Enemy or not could he allow that?

"Fine." Skarr stepped forward. "We'll deal with you and use your sword to bring down the Grimm Slayer ourselves."

"Garuru Cannon!"

Skarr's eyes widened as he three yellow bolts shot past James, heading straight for him and Katz. Both dodged easily but were shocked to see Omnimon standing with James.

"What is this?" Katz grunted.

"Despite him being an enemy I will not allow him to be killed by those who are supposed to be his allies." Omnimon stated simply. "We will finish our battle with no one else helping either of us."

James raised an eyebrow but remained silent.

"How poetic." Katz narrowed his eyes as pulled out a satchel bag. "That's right. You're a knight; excuse me, a Royal Knight. That honor you and the so-called Gentleman share. It gets real annoying after a while of hearing it."

"Feel free to leave, Katz. I don't have time for you today." Omnimon said to his old enemy. "In fact I prefer not to have any time for you at all."

Katz reached into his satchel and pulled out what appeared to be a Frisbee that he then threw at Omnimon. Just as the Royal Knight was about to bat it away blades sprouted from it and the now bladed disk slashed against his sword. As soon as he deflected it Skarr aimed and fired at the ground in front of Omnimon, creating an explosion that knocked him into a tree.

"I am not sure if you have been keeping up with our exploits but just the two of us were able to bring the Dragon of Denver himself to his knees." Katz remarked confidently. "You'd be wise to not underestimate us."

Growling now Omnimon got back onto his feet. "I could say the same for you. Transcendent Sword!"

He swung his blade, releasing an energy wave from it that traveled towards the two. Skarr aimed and fired another explosive shell that collided with the energy wave and exploded, cancelling both attacks out. Katz pulled out what appeared to be a red dodgeball and with a grunt he threw it right at Omnimon. The Digimon was prepared to slice it in two with his sword, noticing spikes growing from it but failed to notice the hidden remote in Katz's hand.

Suddenly the ball was propelled forward by a rocket attached to it that slid under Omnimon's guard but luckily his Aura kicked in, protecting him from the spikes and then the blast. Omnimon grunted but was glad he could use his Aura again, at least against Katz and Skarr. Speaking of which, the Fallen appeared right in front of him and uppercut him with enough strength he was knocked off his feet. Skarr then grabbed his legs and threw him into the ground.

"You won't be walking away this time, Grimm Slayer." Skarr said, stomping a foot down on the Digimon's chest. "As you can see I am much stronger than in our last encounter."

Growling Omnimon managed to kick Skarr off of him and get back up. "So am I."

Snarling Skarr swung his broadsword at Omni who blocked with his Grey Sword. He shoved Skarr back, nearly knocking him off his feet as he staggered. Omnimon charged but Skarr jumped, flipping over him and managing to land a slash on the Royal Knight's back. Luckily Omnimon's Aura protected him and at the same time he managed to hit Skarr in the face. He fully expected Skarr to be knocked out but instead Skarr simply shrugged off the hit and kicked Omnimon in the face, causing him to stumble back.

"I told you, I am much stronger than I was before." Skarr said, changing his sword back into a rifle and shot from just a few feet away.

Omnimon ducked and rolled away while Katz pulled out a small orb and threw it the ground in front of him. The sphere exploded, releasing a white gas. Omnimon grunted, accidentally inhaling and started choking. This gas made him feel like he was suffocating despite being made of data and he realized he was in big trouble now.

"Now to finish the job." Skarr said, aiming his rifle at Omnimon and was ready to pull the trigger…

Until an invisible blade stabbed him through his heart.

Eyes widening Skarr looked down and watched as blood poured out from the hole in his chest. Looking behind, Skarr narrowed his red glowing eye in anger as he spat. "Traitor!"

James remained coldly silent as he bashed Skarr in the back of his head with the hilt of his sword. "Given who disobeyed orders first that is up for debate."

He then made several slashing motions though the gas, cutting it away from Omnimon as he managed to get back up.

"What are you doing?!" Katz shouted.

"You interfered in my mission, abandoned your posts and presume you could simply eliminate my target and walk away?" James rhetorically asked as he faced the Mobian. "It seems you are a bigger fool than I took you for. Nevertheless I'll be taking you and Skarr to Sammael for insubordination."

"And what of yours?" Katz retorted. "You are preventing us from killing the Grimm Slayer."

"I will deal with that at the appropriate time." James coldly replied.

Omnimon looked down at Skarr's body, noticing a twitch. "James!"

The Gentlemen spun around, dodging a black tendril that sprouted from Skarr's arm as he stood up. "I am well aware of the Fallen's ability to self-regenerate."

Skarr grunted as he stood back up, a black substance emerged from his chest and pulling any organs hanging out back into his body. "It is good thing that everyone believes a Fallen cannot have more than one heart."

"I know that's why I wasn't hesitant about hitting you in a vital area where a Human would have died." Sir James replied. "Considering it my only warning to you."

"You're only warning?" Skarr sneered. "How kind…Considering you won't be getting a warning at all!"

"Supreme Cannon!"

A blast of blue energy slammed into Skarr, freezing him in solid ice. His red eye glowed brightly…then dimmed down.

Omnimon stood up, lowering his Garurumon arm. Katz's eyes widened in disbelief as the Royal Knight stood up and faced him along with Sir James. Realizing he was now badly outnumbered Katz did the only sensible thing he could think of.

He took off running.

Once the Mobian was out of sight James turned around and faced Omnimon…

And then turned around.

"Are you not going to finish me off?" Omnimon asked.

"Not today. Not this way." James replied, sheathing the sword. "I must inform Sammael of the insubordination in our ranks. He might not be happy with me but he will be less happy that Katz and Skarr went against orders."

"He might kill you." Omnimon pointed out.

James actually smiled as he picked up his red cape. "You make it sound like death is the absolute worst that could happen. There are other ways of expressing your disappointment."

Omnimon simply watched as the Gentleman calmly and confidently walked away, his pose that of a nobleman. He had no idea how someone like that could end up in the service of the Fallen but had no time to consider that.

Monty needed his help and then they needed to go find Nigel and Abby.

As he rushed towards Monty he took a split second to consider…just how lucky he was that people like Katz and Skarr let their personal grudges cloud their judgment and that people like James valued honor above victory. He wasn't sure if he would have been able to defeat James without being killed himself. Since coming here he had gone up rogue Huntsmen, serial killers, Grimm, fanatics and just recently an alien goddess but this fight was different from before.

A sword that could negate any and all forms of energy, including Aura and the power of a Digimon was not something to be taken lightly.

Omnimon would walk away from that fight, knowing now that not only was Sammael was not only dangerous but so were his allies. He would have to consider training to become even stronger if he was going to go up against the Fallen and their allies in the future, depending on how long he remained in this universe.

Sammael had engineered this to get rid of him but he was lucky.

He might not have such luck again.
