Opening File: Null Space
Null space is an abnormal region of space. The pocket of space is filled with the bright light of condensed turbulent magnetic and gravitational fields absorbing all electromagnetic energy from anything that enters the phenomenon. The fields also bend all outside energy around the pocket, making it naturally cloaked. Null space could also be used as a medium for transportation.
The Glorft flagship, the Karajor uses a graviton surge to propel it into Null Space. When null space was used this way, an unprepared ship was found to be more likely to encounter system overloads, not energy absorption.

"It's always nice to have company, especially when you are constantly traveling. A friend, compatriot, a teammate. As an old friend once said: show me a superhero worth his salt and I'll show you a support network of friends standing behind them. Even the bad guys get help from teamwork." TOM said as the file closed. "We all get by with a little help from our friends."

"Don't get cocky, Earther. You only caught me off guard with a lucky shot. Now you're about to see why I've never lost a battle, with or without a mech!"
And with that Gorrath charged forward again, letting a battle cry as he planned on beating the insolent Earthers to death. Gorrath punched Coop in the face again, then grabbed his head with both hands and brought it down to his knee. Gorrath then followed up by picking Coop up and throwing into a nearby energy wall, waiting for him to slide down and then picked him up by the collar and prepared to punch him in the face again. Only this time Coop caught the fist, shocking the Glorft leader.
In fact, Coop barely looked injured at all.
He clenched down on Gorrath's face, causing the Glorft leader to grunt in pain and followed with an uppercut, knocking the Glorft back. Gorrath staggered back but recovered and ducked as Coop threw another punch at his face. The two then circled each other, both lashing out with their fists in a pretty even fist fight. Coop's Aura would block most of the hits and he tried to dodge or block the rest to conserve his strength while Gorrath went on the full offensive to stop Coop from fighting back.
Eventually Gorrath knocked Coop down with a mean punch and tried to stomp on his head. Luckly Coop caught the foot and threw it away with the rest of Gorrath following. The Glorft leader was slammed into the energy wall again. Both opponents got back up and Gorrath was immediately the first to attack again. He launched a fist at Coop who ducked and grabbed Gorrath around the torso.
To the Glorft leader's immense shock Coop managed to actually lift him off his feet and fell back, causing Gorrath to slam head first into the floor.
"WWWWWWWWAAAAAAAHHHH!" Coop shouted as he grabbed Gorrath by the face tentacles, threw him over his shoulder judo-style, slamming the Glorft leader back on the ground and jumped up, ending his onslaught with an elbow drop.
Eyes widening when he saw what was about to happen Gorrath rolled away at the last second. Coop's Aura prevented him from accidently breaking his and the impact left a sizable dent in the floor. Gorrath jumped to his feet and quickly attacked Coop with a barrage of punches, all aimed at the face. Coop suddenly jumped, allowing Gorrath to punch him in the stomach, with this punch being extra strong.
Coop was sent flying into the energy wall but the pilot of Megas managed to plant his feet on the wall and kicked off with a sudden blast of energy from his Aura, angling his body as he flew back at his opponent. "YEAH!"
Gorrath was caught off guard as Coop body-slammed into him, flying across the ring and slammed into the energy wall on the other side. The impact was strong enough to shake the wrestling ring slightly and caused the barriers keeping everyone inside to shudder.
Coop stepped back, watching as Gorrath staggered forward, dazed and possibly suffering a concussion from the impact. "So squid, having fun or what?"
Gorrath growled, clenching his fists. The fact that a mere Earther was actually fighting back against him and winning was quite the blow to his pride.
"Oh, want some more?" Coop asked, bringing his hand up and made 'bring it' gesture.
"RRRRAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" Gorrath charged forward with a battle cry.
He slammed a fist into Coop's face, followed by another and then aimed his foot up at Coop's stomach. Gorrath grinned as Coop staggered back but his smile turned to shock when he saw Coop merely pat his stomach. That kick should have shattered his lower torso!
"You know, if you want to actually fight you might want to put some effort into your hits." Coop suggested. "Like this."
This time Coop went on the offensive, delivering a punch to Gorrath's stomach that was so strong Gorrath coughed out spit as he knelt down, clenching his stomach. Coop followed with a series of punches to Gorrath's face and then picked the Glorft leader up and threw him to the floor. Gorrath got back up and lashed out with a punch to Coop's face, then grabbing him by the collar and copied Coop's earlier move as he threw the human over his shoulder, slamming him into the ground.
However, Coop got back up not even a second later with that infuriating smile. "Hey, now we're talking."
He immediately went on the attack, jumped onto the energy wall and kicked off it again towards his opponent, clobbering Gorrath before he could react.
The Glorft leader slammed a fist into the ground as he got back up. "This is impossible! A mere Earther can't possibly come close to matching me in strength!" He glared hatefully at Coop and then looked at the guard. "Get over here and tear this Earther apart!"
The Glorft guard that was chosen as Gorrath's partner walked from his post towards Coop while Gorrath picked himself up and walked past him.
"Calling it quits now, squid?" Coop taunted as Gorrath leaned against the post to recover. "I wasn't even warmed up."
Gorrath growled but said nothing.
In the meantime Coop got ready to face the guard when Ana stepped up, next to him. "Hm? Ana?"
"This one's mine, Coop.' Ana said, glaring at the guard that had taken her rifle. "It's a tag team, remember?"
"Oh, right." Coop held out his hand and tagged Ana. "Almost forgot. Be sure to have some fun, okay?"
"Oh, I am sure I will." Ana clenched her fists as she faced down the guard. 'Rasputin told me to buy time so I'll hold off on using my Semblance for now. Besides, I'd rather drag this match out hurting this slug than just killing him outright.'
"Nice." Coop walked over to his corner of the ring, sitting down and watching as Ana faced her opponent.
"Ready to die, human?" The guard asked as he approached Ana.
"I might be, if I have to keep looking at that ugly face of yours." Ana retorted as the bell rung.
The Glorft guard ran at her, lashing out with a fist but Ana was faster, moving to the right and lashing out with a foot, tripping the guard and leaving him to fall face first on the ground. Looking up he caught Ana just as she lashed out with a fist, slugging him before he could react. She let loose with several punches before the guard managed to catch her fist and clenched down on it. Ana gritted her as the guard got up and slugged her in the face but her violet Aura protected her.
"I hope our Warmaster will allow me to keep your rifle and maybe your head as a trophy." The guard said, grabbing her head and got ready to punch her again.
Narrowing her eyes Ana grabbed the guard by the face tentacles and pulled, hard. The guard cried out, releasing Ana who then head-butted him in the face. The guard staggered back but recovered, ready to continue the fight.

"We're coming up on the Karajor." Kiva said, seeing the Glorft mothership as it approached Earth. "Okay, Rasputin. We need to know where Coop and Miss Bray are."
"You are in luck, Miss Kiva. The main AI has managed to work its way into the Glorft's systems." The fragment reported.
"You hacked the Glorft?" Jamie asked with an impressed face. "Nice."
"Not entirely. The Glorft have hooked the main AI to their systems to reprogram it. He's resisting and holding of their efforts for now and he's managed to adapt to their aggressive approaches. He's studied enough of their systems he was able to slip a message through their speakers." The fragment explained. "And it is monitoring Mr. Cooplowski and Anastasia right now. I believe you both should see this."
On the dashboard, Kiva and Jamie were greeted with the surprising sight of Coop and Ana facing Gorrath and another Glorft in what appears to be a tag team fight.
"Is Coop…Fighting Gorrath?" Kiva asked, eyes widening as she saw Coop not only fight Gorrath but seemingly beat him in the first round.
"Yeah! Get him, Coop!" Jamie punched a fist. "He's going Lucha on those squids!"
"Lucha?" Kiva asked.
"Yeah, Lucha Academy." Jamie answered. "Coop's grandmother was a student there."
"You're telling me Coop has been trained as a Hunter? I know he has a Semblance and a Hunter license but he always eats or sits down when he's not fixing Megas." Kiva commented, feeling like she's seeing a side to Coop she had never seen before.
"Yeah, he's not a fitness freak but he does work out. Coop's actually a lot stronger than most people think." Jamie said, watching with a smile as Coop body-slammed Gorrath.
"The main AI asked Anastasia to play along with this fight to buy time. I would like to point out that it might be prudent to wait until after the match is over." The fragment advised.
"Why would we do that?" Kiva asked. "We have to get them out of there now. We can't let them attack the Earth."
"Gorrath himself is in the match. If Anastasia or Mr. Cooplowski beat him he will be wounded and caught completely by surprise when you make your rescue attempt." The fragment explained.
"Taking them by complete surprise." Jamie grinned. "Nice."
Kiva admitted the fragment had a point, even if she really wanted to blow that ship out of the sky. "All right. We'll hang back but the moment I think they're in danger, we're going in."

"RAH!" Ana elbowed the Glorft guard in the face and followed up with a punch.
The guard staggered back, unable to react as Ana tackled him and let loose a barrage of punches. The guard recovered, blocked and punched back. The two traded fists back and forth with the guard relying on his larger size and superior strength while Ana had agility and skill on her side. Finally the guard clobbered Ana, knocking her down and then grabbed her, picking her up before throwing her against the energy wall.
"Puny Earther." The guard growled, grabbing her by the neck and started to choke her.
Gorrath grinned, pleased to see Ana about to die. "Pathetic creatures. You thought you could overpower a Glorft in hand to hand combat?"
Ana opened her eyes. "It's a good thing I don't just use my hands."
She raised a foot and slammed it into the area where she believed the crotch would be. It turned out to be the right spot as the guard's eyes went wide and he let out a whimper of pain. He dropped Ana who grabbed him by the face tentacles, pulling him into a headlock as she slammed her knee into his stomach and then preformed a heel kick to the guard's face. The guard staggered back, dazed and in pain from the ruthless attacks Ana inflicted on him.
"I warned you about my nasty side." Ana said, pulling the guard's face down and punched him again. "I would normally make it quick but in this case it's going to be nice and slow. Too bad for you."
With that said she clobbered him and slammed his head multiple times into the floor. Finally after possibly the eighteenth blow the guard stopped moving, losing consciousness.
Ana stood up, wiping some sweat from her forehead and looked around, taking pleasure in seeing the shocked faces of the Glorft audience.

"She actually took him down." Kiva said, stunned by what she saw and yet began nursing a bit of respect for Ana Bray. By the looks of it she could give even Kiva herself a hard time in a fight and that was without the use of her Semblance.

Gorrath growled as the guard was taken out of the ring by an underground elevator he happened to be lying on. "A disgrace to the Glorft. Losing to a human."
"Or maybe the Glorft aren't as powerful as you think." Ana retorted, staring at Gorrath who glared hatefully at her. "I am guessing you have a personal problem with humans for some reason."
"A problem?" Gorrath questioned, stepping back into the ring and cracking his knuckles. "My only problem is that you humans don't know just when to lay down and submit to your superiors…Or die when we tell you to!"
Ana readied herself, deciding to stay in the ring.
"Yo, Ana! You don't want to tap out?" Coop called out, waving his hand.
"No thanks. I'd like to get my own ten pounds of meat from this guy." Ana said, readying herself for a second match.

"This will be fun to watch." Jamie commented.
"Fun?" Kiva admonished. "Gorrath has won over a hundred wars, spent years training physically and mentally to take on any opponent with or without a mech. If Miss Bray and Coop aren't careful he'll kill them both."
"Don't worry. I think Coop and that Bray chick got this." Jamie replied, leaning back and folding his arms behind his head as the fight started.

"RAGH!" Gorrath started with a punch that Ana immediately dodged by ducking.
Ana let loose with a barrage of her punches but Gorrath quickly blocked with just one arm before grabbing one arm and pulled Ana forward, punching her in the stomach. Ana grunted, her Aura managing to protect her. Gorrath quickly pinned Ana and started punching her repeatedly, attempting to break through her Aura.
"Scream Earther! I want to hear your scream as I break you!" Gorrath shouted, raising his fist for another blow.
Ana's eyes flash as she placed a hand on the ground, releasing a blast of energy that knocked Gorrath back. "I'd never give someone like you that satisfaction."
Gorrath grunted, holding up his arm which had a mechanical wrist gauntlet and tapped it. It glowed slightly as Gorrath charged again. Ana gathered dark energy into her fist with her Semblance and launched it right at Gorrath's incoming face. The Glorft leader held up his arm and from the gauntlet came an energy shield that actually blocked Ana's strike.
"Wha-" Ana's eyes widened in shock as her attack being blocked and left herself open as Gorrath grabbed her by the head and slammed her face first into the ground.
"Fool!" The Glorft leader gloated as he repeatedly slammed Ana face first into the ground over and over again. "Did you think I would set you both free to fight and not take your powers into consideration? You used this to kill several of my men but you won't have the same luck. I am Gorrath, Warmaster of the Glorft armada and I cannot be defeated by some Earther's freakish powers."
"WWWWWWWAAAAAAAHHHH!" Suddenly Coop slammed into Gorrath, knocking him off Ana. Coop then grabbed Gorrath and threw him to the other side of the ring, slamming into the force field wall before turning to Ana, offering a hand. "You okay?"
"Yeah, I'm all right." Ana accepted Coop's hand and slowly stood up. "Thank you."
"No problem. You want me to take over?" Coop asked.
"Sure." Ana nodded, tapping out. "I could use a breather."
"Just relax. Might need your Semblance if we want to get out of here."
Gorrath got back up to his feet and shot forward, letting out a rage fueled battle cry. Coop barely time to react as Gorrath punched him right in the face, this time smashing him into the force field. Gorrath wasn't done as he clobbered Ana, knocking her down.
"No breaks for you, Earther!" Gorrath tried stomping on her but Ana quickly rolled back. "It's all or nothing now!"
"Fine by me." Ana jumped to her feet and quickly tackled Gorrath, sending both of them to the ground.
They rolled around, repeatedly punching, kicking and head butting each other before Gorrath finally pinned Ana down.
Coop got back up, eyes flaring. "Okay, no more mister nice guy."
His Aura suddenly flared and shockingly his stomach started to shrink slowly.

"Whoa!" Jamie gasped, leaning forward when he saw was happening to his best friend. "Coop's using his Semblance!"
"His Semblance?" Kiva asked.

Just as Gorrath was about slam his fist down on Ana a shadow fell over him and he looked up, eyes widening as Coop slammed into him. "WWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"
The Glorft leader was knocked off Ana and now pinned under Coop who let loose a barrage of furious punches, pummeling him without mercy. He then picked Gorrath up, grabbed his face tentacles down pulled his face down to his knee which slammed into Gorrath's face, very hard. Recovering Gorrath grabbed Coop and threw him away. Coop managed to remain on his feet but staggered back and had no time to react as Gorrath punched Coop in the face.

However to the Glorf leader's shock Coop didn't reel back. He simply turned his head, staring the Glorft leader in the eye.
"Wha…What the…" Gorrath pulled his fist back, stepping back in slight fear even if he would never admit it that was actually fear he was feeling.
Coop charged forward, slamming into Gorrath first and holding him until they reach a corner post, slamming the Glorft leader into it. He followed up with repeatedly punching the Glorft leader in the face who grunted in anger from each hit. Finally he caught both fists and raised a foot, kicking Coop away. Coop stumbled back and Gorrath grabbed him, slamming him the force field wall and dragged him along it.
Coop grunted as his Aura flared, struggling to protect him as he tried to break free. Gorrath was grinning as he thought he finally had the Earther where he wanted him.
Too bad he forgot one more.
Ana jumped at Gorrath's back, gathering energy into her foot as she brought down on the Glorft leader. Gorrath screamed in pain, managing to remain standing even though the impact of the blow seriously damaged him. Coop grabbed Gorrath's face tentacles slammed his face into the force field and then elbowed him in the back. He then grabbed the Glorft Warmaster by the legs and after a few spins he threw him away, watching as Gorrath sailed into the force field on the other side of the ring.

"All right, Coop!" Jamie punched a fist up, accidentally hitting the ceiling. "Ouch!"
Kiva was rendered speechless as she watched Coop and Ana not only fight Gorrath but also managing to win against him. Gorrath spent years, possibly centuries fighting in one war after another and has emerged victorious each time. Even without a mech he was more than a match for anyone or anything in his way as he was a skilled fighter.
And two humans, admittedly two skilled hunters were actually beating him.
"I believe the fight is nearly over. You can try contacting them to let them know you are on the way." The AI fragment suggested, reminding them both of their mission.
"Right." Kiva nodded, hoping the Gorft didn't confiscate Coop's tablet.

Gorrath grunted as Ana elbowed him in the face and followed up with a punch. Gorrath let out an angered roar as he grappled with Ana but the woman smiled as she gathered energy to her forehead just before she head butted him. Gorrath staged back, holding his head that was now aching badly.
"I guess those gadgets of yours are only good when your arms are free." Ana remarked as she tackled the Glorft leader again.
Coop was about to join in when he felt a vibration in his pocket and pulled out his tablet, answering the call. "Kiva?"
"Coop, can you hear me?"
"Yeah, I hear you. Don't mean to sound rude but I'm a little busy." Coop said, watching as Ana gathered energy in her hands as she grabbed Gorrath and lifted him off the ground.
"I know. We're watching the fight right now. Listen, we're going to get onto the Glorft ship to get you out as soon as the fight is done. Just keep them occupied."
"I don't think that'll be a problem." Coop hung up and grinned as Ana flung Gorrath at him. "Time to end this!"
He caught Gorrath, clobbering him with one arm and crashing him into the ground, leaving him daze. "Ana, I need a lift!"
Ana concentrated her Semblance on Coop, manipulating the gravity around him to lift him off the ground. Coop quickly pulled out a lucha mask, slipping it on his face and floated over Gorrath who looked up with widened eyes. "Now!"
Ana released him, leaving him to fall back down to the ring with the Glorft leader directly below him.
"WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Gorrath's eyes widened in pure fear as Coop landed directly on top of him with a loud crashing sound from the sheer force of the impact that actually shook the ring.

Coop slowly got up, looking noticeably thinner now as he looked down at Gorrath who was still. He held up the Glorft's hand, seeing it was limp and knew that the Glorft leader had been completely knocked out.
"Looks like we win!" Coop laughed, thrusting his fists into the air.
The Glorft in the audience and even the referee were absolutely stunned to see their Warmaster, the strongest and most powerful of the Glorft defeated. It was so quite that the sound of someone dropping their snacks was heard.

"They…Did it." Kiva whispered in shock and awe at the outcome of the fight. "They actually beat Gorrath."
"Whoo-hoo! Way to go, Coop!" Jamie cheered. "My buddy's unbeatable!"
"We better move. Odds are the Glorft will not take this defeat well." The fragment advised.
"Right." Kiva nodded, piloting Megas to fly directly towards the Karajor. "You fixed the glitch in the teleporter?"
"Affirmative." The AI answered. "Find the base and we can transport it directly back to Reach."

When the Glorft gathered to see their leader fight two puny humans they expected their leader to win easily.
So what happened when they watched him get his jorblocks kicked by said puny humans?
"BOO!"
"BOO!"
Not well.
The Glorft began throwing food at the Earthers, even though the force field around the wrestling ring protected them.
"Guess they don't like losing." Coop commented, standing next to Ana.
"Apparently." Ana agreed, watching as Gorrath slowly regained consciousness. "You have a plan?"
"I think it's about to go down." Coop answered, watching as Gorrath got back…And lunged at Coop, knocking him down and started chocking him.
"I WILL KILL YOU!" Gorrath shouted in pure, unrestrained rage at the Earther who humiliated him.

Description: Coop's Semblance allows him to store energy from the food he consumes. Once in use the fat he gains from his eating habits starts to burn away as even the fat is used as energy, granting him enhanced strength and durability. It can even help recharge his Aura faster and increases his stamina to the point he could fight for hours. However if he uses up too much energy he becomes dangerously thin and can pass out if he is not careful.
