Opening File: Glorft Grandmaster
While Gorrath is the Warmaster of the Glorft and the one who commands their armies and fleet records recently discovered he is not the supreme leader of the Glorft. That title goes to the mysterious Grandmaster who resides on the Glorft Command Sphere. When their original home planet was destroyed the Glorft spent years, even centuries wondering the cosmos. Eventually they came together under the command of the mysterious Grandmaster who would go on to make them the most powerful fighting force in the universe.
Plundering any technology they could find the Glorft put forth a plan to build an entirely new home for themselves. The closest human analogy for what they constructed would be a Dyson Sphere. It is unknown when this massive station was built but when it was large enough to hold an entire star in the center with a surface wide enough to hold over twenty five planets the size of the Earth. From here the Glorft would construct a massive armada and one of the largest armies in the universe.
When they finally emerged they began conquering in every direction, starting a war that would spread throughout the universe, eventually reaching the Earth. Despite the best efforts of the United Earth Nations and the Glorft won the war with only a small resistance left to fight. In desperation to change the outcome of the war, Lieutenant Kiva Andru stole the prototype for a new Glorft mech codenamed Avatar and modified it to be piloted by a human. The Grandmaster entrusted Warmaster Gorrath to track down the prototype and finish the Earth once and for all.
As of now it is unknown when exactly the Grandmaster came into power or exactly old he is or even where he is in the future since the Glorft Command Sphere is constantly moving to ensure no one can find it.

"I've mentioned before that there's no substitute for guts. I'm talking about gumption, bravery, courage. Courage means having the strength to resist opposition and danger or hardship. It could be a lot of things." TOM remarked as the file closed. "Sticking by your friends takes courage. Being yourself takes courage. Think of any of your favorite heroes, they have courage in spades. Even some of the bad guys have it." TOM chuckled. "But most don't. Size isn't a factor, neither is strength. It can't be measured except in actions, so you've got to let your actions speak for you. Take it easy for now." TOM leaned back, folding his hands behind his head. "Store up that courage, you never know when you're gonna need it."

"We're going in." Kiva said, pressing down on the gas.
"What's the plan?" Jamie asked, gripping his chair from how fast Megas was going.
Kiva smirked, making Jamie a little nervous. "I think I'll take a page out of Coop's book."
She pressed down on the lever and the power gauge went from 'KIDDY SPEED' to 'NOW WE'RE TALKIN' to 'NOW WE'RE REALLY TALKIN' to 'OKAY, NOW YOU'RE PUSHING IT' and landing on 'ARE YOU TRYING TO BLOW ME UP?!'.
"Oh boy." Jamie covered his eyes as Megas shot straight at the Glorft mothership.
In one of the many decks of the ship, a pair of Glorft looked up from their stations in time to see Megas flying straight at them.
Now any sane person would try to run.
Only the Glorft were smart enough to know it was too late to run.
So they just looked at each other.
And one of them had only one thing say. "I've always hated you."
CRASH!
Xxx
"I WILL KILL YOU!" Gorrath shouted in pure, unrestrained rage at the Earther who humiliated him.
As soon as Ana saw Gorrath strangling Coop she looked at the unconscious guard and got her rifle off of his back and aimed at the Glorft leader.
"Warmaster look out!" A soldier in crowd called out.
Gorrath saw Ana aiming the Polaris Lance at him. As soon as she pulled the trigger he let go of Coop and got out of the way.
"Lower the shield!" Gorrath called out.
The energy shield was immediately deactivated and the crowd of Glorft began to converge on the ring. Ana quickly rushed over to Coop and helped him off the ground.
BOOM!
An explosion is heard confusing everyone in the room.
"Commander what was that explosion!?" Gorrath shouted into his communicator.
"Sir the prototype has boarded the ship! I'm sending every mech at our disposal to capture it." The Commander answered.
"Make it so or I'll have your jor-" Gorrath was cut off as Coop grabbed him by the shoulders and threw him into the crowd of Glorft.
"That's our que to blow this taco stand." Coop said as he saw a message on his tablet telling him and Ana to follow a signal on it. "Let's book it Ana."
"Don't need to tell me twice." Ana said as she put her rifle on her back. "Let's see if I can't give us a head start."
She created a bow made of purple energy and she pulled on its energy string, firing an energy arrow into the crowd. It hit a Glorft, vaporizing him and in his place was an orb of purple energy that sent out tethers to the Glorft within its range making it hard for them to move. She did this again with the same results and then a third time which the Glorft managed to dodge the arrow this time but it still created an energy orb sending out tethers to the Glorft near it.
"What was that?" Coop asked, watching as all the closest Glorft were caught by the tethers of the spheres Ana created.
"I can use my Semblance to create gravity anchors that sends out tethers to anyone within their range. Slows down their movements and if the target has a Semblance the tethers can deactivate it. It will only reactivate if the tethered target gets out of range. Good thing I'm the only not affected by it." Ana explained. "Come on let's go before they realize they can just destroy the anchors instead of waiting for them to dissipate on their own."
"Let's rock and roll." Coop said quickly.
The two humans rushed for door. Two guards tried to stop them but Ana glowed purple and two energy daggers appeared in her hands. Thanks to her Semblance increasing her speed she rushed at the guards before they could react and she slashed them causing them to be vaporized. With the humans gone and the Glorft left struggling to move from the tethers of the gravity anchors, Gorrath began to breathe heavily.
He saw a blaster on the ground and he managed to get it, pointing it at the gravity anchor he was tethered to. He shot it and it disappeared, releasing him and any other Glorft tethered to it and he repeated it with the other two anchors.
"That. Is. IT!" Gorrath shouts out startling the other Glorft in the room as he activated his communicator. "Commander! Prepare the Eradicator for activation. We're destroying the Earth once and for ALL!"

"So how the heck do find them?" Jamie asked as Megas landed on its feet and proceeded into the heart of the Glorft mothership.
"First off…" Kiva turned Megas over to the Reach base that was held in the docking bay. "Is the teleporter working?"
"Affirmative. Coordinates for its original location back on the Reach have been input."
"Good." Kiva said, pressing the same button that Coop did.
Only this time it teleported its target away to the right spot instead of sending the driver somewhere else.
"Now we find Coop and Ana." Kiva said after the base vanished in a flash of green light.
They were immediately met by three Glorft mechs that fired on them. Kiva fired the engines, propelling Megas as the mechs, punching two of them into the walls and finishing the last one off with a head butt.
"You almost drive this robot like Coop." Jamie said in surprise as the mechs collapsed.
"Well, I was meant to pilot it in the beginning." Kiva replied as she directed Megas forward, stepping over the downed mechs. "Rasputin, are you still tracking Ana and Coop?"
"Affirmative." The fragment replied, bringing up a map of the Karajor. "According to sensors we are in a repair and maintenance depot while Ana and Coop are several decks above us. I am in direct contact with the main AI that has been directly connected to the Glorft network."
"Just how did you hack the Glorft when they are so advanced?" Jamie couldn't help but ask.
"As Miss Andru's logs informed us earlier Megas was originally a Glorft mech, specifically the prototype for a new more advanced mech. When the attack began the main AI considered all possibilities, including its capture. So when transferred a fragment part of itself, me into Megas I took the time to familiarize myself with all the schematics along with the futuristic software and beamed it directly back to the main AI when you were still in contact with Anastasia on the surface of the Reach." The fragment explained. "Fortunately it seems the main AI had enough to adapt Miss Andru's futuristic cyber ware software and used it against the Glorft's own systems with surprising ease."
"The Glorft may think they are the best at everything but they never gave enough credit to any species they tried conquering." Kiva smiled. "You anticipated all of this at the beginning?"
"Rasputin is a Warmind, Miss Andru. He-I are designed to take into account all possible outcomes in any situation. Given what your logs state in the future it's understandable why the Glorft sought to capture us." The fragment explained. "Of course now we will have centuries to prepare for their attack…Assuming that it works."
"What do you mean?" Jamie asked.
"Megas and Miss Andru are from the future and supplied us with great detail on the war. Logically this could alter history but there are several theories to the actual outcome. The greatest concern would be if this is somehow predestined and that the information you have given was only effective in slowing down the Glorft much like what happened to the future Rasputin, not truly stopping them." The fragment explained.
"You think that nothing can change the outcome of the war even with the knowledge I gave you?" Kiva asked as Megas turned a corner.
"You knew that time travel was dangerous and unpredictable, Miss Andru. Another theory is that your arrival in the past has created an alternate timeline and thus the future of this timeline will be different from the one you came from. That being said, your knowledge could allow for us to prepare and even stop the Glorft in the future before the war begins but without precisely understanding the nature of your travel back in time there is no way to know for certain." The fragment answered.
Kiva frowned but said nothing as Megas entered a large, dark room. "Where are we now?"
"According to the schematics, you are in a weapon's testing area." The fragment had a feeling Kiva just wanted to change the subject.
Jamie looked around and saw numerous mech weapons lining the walls. "Yikes. Coop would lose it if he was here and saw all this."
"Yeah but we have to be careful. Set off the wrong thing and we're blown sky high." Kiva looked at the dashboard. "Rasputin, how's the signal?"
"Coop and Anastasia are moving away from the Glorft arena and are coming upon this room. I suspect Anastasia has used her Semblance to enhance their speed and quicken our rendezvous."
"Good. As soon as we're all together I'm going to finish this." Kiva said, looking at the nuke button.
'You're going to…" Jamie suddenly got nervous. "Are you sure? We can just wreck their ship and call it a day."
"Jamie, you think I was exaggerating everything that happened in the future. The Glorft destroyed my home, my family, killed billions of people and we were just on the edge of losing when I came to this time." Kiva narrowed her eyes as her tone became cold. "If I can stop them here I can stop them in the future."
As they spoke and waited no one noticed the hidden security camera watching them.

"Sir, the prototype has entered the weapons testing area." The Commander reported to Gorrath who was now back in his armor and sitting in the command chair.
"Excellent. We have them right where I want them." Gorrath grinned.
Xxx
The lights in the room suddenly came on and holes formed in the floor and the walls, allowing chains with spears at the end to shoot and wrap around Megas' arms and legs. The chains started to pull, bringing the robot down to its knees.
"Alert. Alert. The Glorft have activated a trap." The fragment reported.
"Figures!" Jamie yelped.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!" Gorrath's face appeared on the dashboard screen. "At long last, the prototype is back in my hands."
Kiva glared hatefully at the Warmaster's image. "In your dreams."
She pressed a button and from the arms of Megas came chain saws that cut through the chains. But for every chain that was three more shot out, taking its place.
"Commander, deploy an EMP cannon!" Gorrath shouted.
Eyes widening Kiva realize she only had one option and slammed on a button labelled 'Run away like little girls!'
The 1970 Plymouth that served as the control unit for Megas detached itself from the robot and Kiva slammed down on the gas. The car shot forth, landing on the floor with a big thud and sped to the nearest exit.
"What are you doing?! We just left Megas!" Jamie exclaimed.
"We got the control unit for Megas. The Glorft can't use it without this car. If they hit us with an EMP Megas would have shut down and we'd all be captured." Kiva replied as she sped down the hall. "We'll come back for it once we have Coop."
"I hope you know what you're doing." Jamie muttered.
So did Kiva.
Xxx
"Sir, we have captured the prototype." The Commander informed his leader.
"Good. Bring the Karajor within striking distance of Earth." Gorrath grinned sinisterly, victory now within his grasp. "Today, we take back the future."
"Sir, there is a problem." The Commander spoke up.
Gorrath narrowed his eyes as he slowly walked over to the Commander. "And what could that be?"
"The command module for the prototype disconnected before we could disable. It's moving now." The Commander reported, bringing up an image of the car.
"Fool! Capture that vehicle!"

"I wonder how they got a Mega-Slush and a philly cheesesteak? You think they have a restaurant around here that serves that food?" Coop's stomached rumbled. "Cause I'm starving and I haven't even had my second lunch yet."
Ana rolled her eyes as they made their way through the corridors of the ship. "How can you think of food in a time like this?"
"Most important thing of the day." Coop shrugged. "Besides, my Semblance took a lot out of me in that fight. I think I lost a few pounds."
Ana had noticed Coop was strangely thinner. "Your Semblance…It burns away calories and fat in your body for energy doesn't it?"
"Yep. Feeds it all into my muscles when I use it." Coop nodded. "Makes me tough but man it makes me hungry."
"I suppose it fits in a way." Ana couldn't help but notice there was no one chasing them. "I would have thought they'd be sending everyone after us by now."
Coop looked around, noticing the same thing. "Maybe they're too scared. We whooped their boss pretty good."
CRASH!
Coop and Ana jumped to the side as something smashed its way through the wall and stopped in front of them.
"No way!" Coop's jaw dropped.
The driver door opened and Kiva stepped out. She was breathing heavily and wiped a bit of sweat from her forehead. "Coop, we found you. Glad you're…all…ri-"
"Whoa." Coop quickly caught Kiva as she passed out.
"What happened to her?" Jamie asked worriedly.
"She seems to have had a heavy adrenaline rush. No doubt it was caused by the prolonged use of the implant connecting her mind with Megas and me." The Rasputin fragment said as it removed the neural interface from Kiva. "It is best for her to rest. I believe everyone will need rest after fending off the Glorft."
"Yeah. I think that's good idea." Jamie said as he sighed deeply.
Coop opened the door and placed Kiva inside and quickly took his place in the driver's seat. "Come on. Let's go."
Ana got into the back seat next to Kiva and Coop slammed down on the gas as the Glorft mechs that had chased the car caught up. The car drove off, avoiding the missile that would have blasted them by a few mere inches.
"Where's the rest of Megas?" Coop asked, swirling around a corner.
"Green dudes got it." Jamie answered.
"What? How'd you fly it here in the first place?" Coop questioned, still focused on driving.
"That would be my doing, Mr. Coop." The AI fragment spoke as it appeared on the dashboard. "I uploaded the knowledge needed to pilot Megas directly into Miss Andru's brain. I'm afraid it's the reason she passed out as well."
"Rasputin?" Ana asked, leaning in between the front seat. "You downloaded into this car?"
"A part of the original Rasputin did when he calculated defeat and capture was inevitable. I was downloaded through the communication channel connected to Rasputin's core and when Mr. Coop was captured I took the liberty of creating an interface for Miss Andru." The fragment explained.
"It downloaded how to drive Megas into her brain." Jamie clarified for Coop. "And she was awesome at it. Almost as good as you. By the way, awesome thrashing you gave the squids."
"Thanks but what happened to the rest of Megas?" Coop asked the burning question.
"The Glorft ambushed us and immobilized Megas while attempting to bring in an EMP cannon to disable it much like they disabled the Reach base. Miss Andru chose to detach the car from the rest of Megas so it wouldn't be disabled. As I understand without this car Megas is useless to them and Miss Andru planned on going back once she found you."
"Oh, that makes sense, I guess." Coop understood. "We can always go back and get it."
"You sure about that?" Ana asked.
"Trust me. We got this far." Coop grinned as he spun the car down the hallway.
Glorft mechs chased after them, firing gatling guns and missiles but no matter how hard they tried nothing hit the car.
Coop swerved around a corner as a mech tried to cut them off, leaving it to be knocked down by one of the pursuing mechs. "Ha! Suckers! You wouldn't last a second on the Jersey turnpike."
The car drove onto an energy bridge and the Glorft in charge of monitoring it quickly deactivated the bridge. Coop looked at the rear view mirror and saw the bridge shutting down. "Oh boy."
He jammed down on the gas, nearly reaching the end. "Come on, baby. Come on."
Unfortunately the bridge gave out before the car reached the other hand.
"Whoa! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!" Coop and Jamie screamed as the car fell to possibly certain death.
Luckily a Glorft mech was right underneath them and the car landed on it before shooting off of it, entering a nearby duct. The mech pursued them but slammed into the wall, sending parts flying after the car.
"Ha! How's that for-"
Xxx
"-poor motor skills, you loser?"
BANG!
Gorrath slammed the armrest of his chair in frustration. "Send in more mechs!"
"Sir, he's proving most difficult to catch. His craft is small and fast while our mechs are not-" The Commander tried to explain, only to be cut off as Gorrath stood up.
"I'll do it myself!" The Glorft leader said, refusing to let the Earthers humiliate and escape him.
"The Earth is defenseless. We should attack." The Commander advised.
"We can conquer that puny planet any time. I want that monkey now!" Gorrath barked.
Xxx
With Coop back the wheel the ride got a little bumpier, especially deep in the bowels of the Glorft ship. Luckily Coop was a skilled driver, able to dodge incoming fire while finding a new path to turn onto and a makeshift ramp to escape when it seemed like they were cornered. The chase reached a point that the Glorft monitoring the pursuit had one thing to say.
"The use of unnecessary force in vectoring the Earthers has been approved."
Coop eventually reached a circular air vent, slamming into it and dodging the missiles chasing after them. One managed to slip past them, leaving a giant hole in front of them. Coop responded by driving up the wall and onto the ceiling. The car went over the hole and fell down, hitting the floor but the speed of which it had been going left it skidding all the way to the end.
"YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Coop shouted as they came out of the end…
And ended up facing down an entire Glorft battalion.
Coop and Jamie glanced at each other for a second, just before Coop took off with the small army chasing after him. They drove into a massive chamber with turbines sticking out of the floor.
Jamie couldn't help but comment. "This place has got everything."
Coop's stomach grumbled. "I wonder if they have a drive through. I could really go for a philly cheesesteak right about now."
"Unbelievable." Ana sighed, keeping an eye on Kiva as they broke through a Glorft road block.
"Now you know why I put ten cylinders in this baby." Coop said with a smile but his smile faltered when he was what was right in front of them.
An entire army of Glorft mechs waiting for them with the only exit blocked off before Coop could even try to shift to 'Reverse'.
"This is where it all ends." Gorrath announced from his mech.
"…Maybe you should have put in twelve cylinders." Jamie suggestion but as usual he offered little to no help.
Gorrath grinned his mech raised its gatling gun. "I'll be the one to finish you off once and for all, Earther scum. This is where we say our goodbyes."
However just before the first shot was fired there was a rumbling sound. Coop was grinning and even the unconscious Kiva made a small smile, as if she somehow knew what was about to happen.
"What's going on?"
CRASH!
Through the wall on the other side of the chamber, Megas crashed through and ran straight at the small mech army, ramming through all of them. Gorrath turned around just in time to see a metallic back and that knocked his mech down. Megas then reached down and picked up the car, placing it back where it belonged.
Ana looked at Coop. "You could have done that any time?"
"Now where's the fun in that?" Coop asked rhetorically with a grin.
"Nice." Jamie said as he and Coop fist-bumped and did their signature 'Rock-On' hand signs.
"Fun?" Ana sat against the back seat and looked at Kiva who was still unconscious. "How do you handle them? Up against a thousand enemy mechs and they just want to have fun."
"Like I said, fun." Coop looked at the surrounding enemies. "Now we're up against a thousand enemy robots that have the home field advantage. Sounds fair to me. Hey squid, about that goodbye?" He waved a hand at angered image of Gorrath on the dashboard screen. "Uh, bye-bye."
Xxx
SMASH!
BOOM!
In a stasis tank on the other side of the Karajor a pair of red eyes slowly opened.
