Opening File: Professor Pericles
Professor Pericles is a parrot and the former mascot of the original Mystery Incorporated of Crystal Cove. He used to have a similar relationship with Ricky Owens as Shaggy Rogers has with Scooby-Doo. He was once an associate of Abigail Gluck in Bavaria in the 1930's. He had somehow crashed into a tree in Ricky's front yard, when he was just a child.
Despite initial mistrust, Ricky was trusted and nursed Pericles back to health until he was healthy enough to fly again. Initially sad, Ricky was then pleasantly surprised to see Pericles fly back and the two became friends ever since. He visited the buried Darrow Mansion along with the rest of the old Mystery Incorporated. He helped investigate the old Spanish church where the Freak of Crystal Cove had been sighted, and speculated the monster might have led them there on purpose.
He was very interested when the drawing of the Planispheric Disk was discovered. Professor Pericles went to the Crystal Cove Caves with the original Mystery Incorporated and led them to a site where the first Planispheric Disk piece was found. He teamed up with Fred Jones, Sr. to betray the original Mystery Incorporated and find the treasure of the conquistadors. His left eye was injured when (the yet to be) Mayor Jones betrayed him.
Deciding he was too dangerous to be left alive Fred Jones Sr. ordered Pericles to be killed but little did he know that Pericles had studied how to awaken his own Aura and Semblance and just before his assassin could carry out the orders he had been given Pericles managed to activate his Semblance: Complete Hypnosis and use it to fool Fred Jones and the Satyra into thinking Pericles was dead. Pericles wandered through the wilderness, knowing that he would need to hide until he was ready to return but while his Semblance could hide him from his enemies his bitter nature could not hide him from the Grimm. Pericles was almost killed by a Nevermore and fell to the forests near Gravity Falls. There he was found by a little girl, Nyx Kane and nursed back to health.
At the time Nyx thought he was an ordinary parrot and kept him close at all times, even allowing him to see her practice Chaos Magic which intrigued him. Once he regained his health he stayed with Nyx much like he did with Ricky Owens and learned about her bitter past. Seeing her as a kindred spirit and someone with potential Pericles re-worked his plans so that Nyx would be a part of them and eventually revealed himself to her, explaining his past which sealed the bond with them. Pericles would use his Semblance on Nyx's elder sister Tambry so she would not suspect anything happening and to keep her safe and happy at Nyx's request since the elder girl had been forced to act as a surrogate mother to Nyx in the place of their foster parents, thus making her someone Nyx treasures very deeply.
Pericles would see Tambry as dependable as she allowed Nyx to keep him and used what money they got bring him food but for the good of his plans and Nyx's own sake Pericles made sure Tambry was kept in the dark about his true nature and Nyx's up and coming destiny as a Lady of Chaos. When the Blind Eye recruited Nyx for being her apprenticeship to Klarion Pericles was given access to their resources and immediately set forth with setting up his plans for when he and Nyx would leave Gravity Falls. When Hoagie Gilligan arrived in Gravity Falls with the other contestants for the fake contest Bill Cipher set up Pericles knew that the time was drawing near and what it meant for Nyx.

"For even the wicked souls there can be one small piece of good in them." TOM remarked as the file closed. "Everyone has the capacity for good and evil but it's easy to believe a villain an exception to the idea that there is good in everyone."
"What could bring out that small bit of good?" SARA asked, appearing next to TOM in holo-form.
"Well, it could the same bonds that everyone has. Bonds of friendship, bonds of trust and even bonds of love." TOM answered. "It's easy to believe that a child of a villain would turn out just like their parents but is it that simple? Would said villain want them to be evil? Would they toss them aside so they wouldn't get in the way or because they aren't evil enough? Or would they do everything in their power to make sure their kids turn out better than they ever could be?"

I remember every day in life that has lead up to this moment, my dear Nyx.
When I first saw you I was reminded of my friend Ricky Owens and remembered how bright things were back in those days. A wounded parrot with no help of survival and a single human reaching out with their soft hands, kind eyes and with a gentle touch lifting the bird into their arms, taking it home, feeding it, bathing it, mending its wounds, telling it stories before going to sleep. Such simple actions but they spoke louder than even than any roar of any beast, Grimm or man.
And then comes the time when the human lets their new friend spread his wings and leave…
Only I didn't leave Ricky and I didn't leave you.
How could I?
You both offered me something I craved: companionship.
Sure, I am not the most social and kindest of birds but I suppose as ludicrous as it may sound I don't like being alone. Your kindness was intoxicating to me and I couldn't bear to simply leave and risk never experiencing it again.
I wanted to continue to feel the warmth from your arms as you held me at night, soothing my pain.
I wanted to continue to see the smile on your face that brings forth feelings of peace in me.
And I wanted to stay with you.

"So any idea what the robo-chick was saying?"
THWACK!
"Ow!" Jamie rubbed his head as he glared at Kiva. "What was that for?"
"That 'robo-chick' is Ana's sister so try to show a little respect, Jamie." Kiva scolded, looking at Ana as she lead the three through the Bray Complex, taking them to where the Eon Trespass was stored. "Of do you want to risk getting your insides torn like she did with the Glorft?"
"To be fair she was talking a whole lot and I am kind of wondering what it all means myself. Like the part with red and white, blue with green and green slime and then that talk with fire." Coop said thoughtfully.
Meanwhile Ana herself was processing with what Elsie said. 'Elsie must have been talking about the Elementals. It sounded like Slime, Ice, and Candy are together but Fire isn't with them. And it sounds like something must be going on with that Elemental.'
"Then there's that talk about sides being taken, even taking the wrong side. Seriously, isn't it simple? Good guys on the good and bad guys on the bad side." Coop continued. "Wouldn't make sense for there to be other sides."
Coop's words suddenly made sense to Ana who knew a lot more about the world than the driver of Megas did. 'Elsie must have been talking about the Grey Agency when she said 'Awoken wavering between the light and the dark.' The Grey Agency doesn't take sides and the methods they use to protect the world are questionable.'
"And 'them' finding us or someone. Wonder who that could be?" Jamie cut in.
"I believe she was talking about the Glorft." Ana cut in, stopping in front of an elevator.
"The Glorft?" Kiva questioned.
"The squids? Didn't I just waste them?" Coop asked.
"Not exactly." Ana shook her head. "Rasputin's fragment took a chance to scan the wormhole the Glorft ship was pulled into and shared the results with the main AI. He computed there is a chance they survived and are merely trapped in Null Space."
"But…But the explosion." Kiva pointed out with a fearful look on her face. "Their reactors overloaded and took out the whole ship."
"Rasputin accounted for that. According to the schematics he took of the Karajor the Glorft already had extensive preparations in case of a disaster matching the one Glorft faced when Coop overloaded their Null-Space drive. Bear in mind this all theoretical so it's possible the Glorft really were destroyed but if they weren't they are now merely stuck in another dimension." Ana explained. "Still, it's even possible the Glorft are not 'them' but other people that may be interested in your time drive. If anyone learns what you have besides a giant robot they could come after you."
"Like that creep on the junk planet." Jamie recalled. "He wanted it bad enough he almost made Megas explode."
"So even I get the time drive working again the Glorft are still alive." Kiva rubbed her head. "I can't go back to the future and leave the Glorft in this era."
"Relax, Kiva. We've whooped them before; we can do it again if they ever come back." Coop said optimistically with a shrug. "Or they might be too scared to come back after I blew their ship up."
"I suppose it would pay to just be on the lookout then and since they're trapped in Null-Space we can take easy a bit." Kiva admitted with a sigh. "But even if I get the time drive up and running again I can't go back until I make sure the Glorft are stopped here."
"Fine with me." Coop said as the elevator door opened. "So we get this time thing from your sister's ship and we'll be back in Jersey in time for dinner. All this fighting has really made me hungry, especially after that wrestling match. I lost several pounds."
"Looks like it'll take at least eight dinners to get you back to normal." Jamie smirked as the group stepped into the elevator.
"At least."

"Hello little guy. Are you hurt?"
He thought history was repeating itself as he lay down on the ground with a broken wing. He looked up with his one good eye, staring up at the little girl kneeling in front of him.
"Looks like you have a broken wing." The girl softy brought her hands underneath him and slowly lifted him up.
She cradled him in her arms as she turned walked out of the woods.
"Don't worry, little guy. I'll take care of you." The girl promised.
And despite the suspicions he had for someone just coming upon him and deciding to help…
He believed her.

"You sure this is the right way?"
The energy signature in this tower is the only one powerful enough to possibly block something like dimensional portals. It is there.
"Very well. I defer to your readings." Double D sighed, proceeding through the school while disguised as a guard.
While Star, Dipper and Marco went to find Dipper's sister and Star's friend Double D decided to be the one to find the crystal and destroy it. It made sense since Double D was the most armed and capable beside Star.
He stopped before a large door with a pair of guards standing there. "That might be a problem."
"Halt." One guard held out hand to Double D, stopping him. "Who are you?"
"I was sent here to help with guarding the crystal." Double D immediately answered, trying to sound like them.
However the guards did not seem to be buying it. "You don't sound like one of us."
"His vocal chords sounds like they belong to someone who couldn't lift a butterfly." The second robot said, holding out an electrical trident.
Double D flinched, suddenly reminded of a time when his friend Eddy said the exact same thing along with something else. 'Good thing Eddy's not here. I can only imagine what he'd say if he heard that. 'I wish I was as good looking as Eddy'.'
"Perhaps we should have you taken in for maintenance." The first guard suggested, moving towards Double D.
Double D, what are you doing? Just destroy them.
"I am not a killer, Armatae. I will not stoop to such atrocities against people merely doing their jobs." Double D retorted.
"Who are you talking to?" The second guard raised his trident.
Your point is moot since it wouldn't be murder.
"Huh?"
The guards are all machines and the only organic member of the staff in this school is the Headmistress herself.
Double D's eyes widened. "Well that changes things."
"Enough of this." The first guard moved to grab Double D...
Who quickly dropped his disguise and blasted the guard's head off.
"Intruder!" The second guard charged at Double D.
The armored intelligent member of the Eds stepped out of the way, plunging a hand into the guard's chest and ripped out its power core.
Energy fluctuations from the core. It's unstable.
"Pretty obvious." Double D kicked the doors down and threw the core at the Tramorfidian crystal. "As Eddy would say: fire in the hole!"
He took off just as the crystal detonated.
BOOM!

"Headmistress! The tower holding the Tramorfidian crystal has been destroyed!" Gemini reported as he rushed into the Headmistress' office.
"Get all the princesses to their rooms!" Heinous shouted from her desk. "Make sure their dimensional scissors are confiscated as well."
"At once Headmistress." Gemini saluted and rushed out of the office.
"I don't know who is responsible for this but I know one thing: no one breaks into St. Olga's Reform School for Wayward Princesses and gets away with it." Heinous snarled, unaware of the club marks appearing on her cheeks and glowing.

"This place isn't what I thought-"
"Shh!"
Star, Dipper and Marco hid while a guard passed by.
"Yeah, breaking out Pony Head is going to be a breeze." Marco replied as him, Star and Dipper continued down the halls. "It's just a high-surveillance prissy finishing school."
"No Marco, it's worse than I've imagined. Look." Star pointed to a room where a princess is being taught.
"When your heart is filled with sunshine and you're feeling oh so free. All of life is just divine and the world is full of glee!"
A bird was whistling along to the song and flies then lands on the princess' finger.
"You know the kind of girls that get sent here. They could totally benefit from this." The three left and the princess, Princess Smooshy, ate the bird.
"No, no, no." The teacher pulled a lever and summons another bird. "You're not leaving until you get this right!"
Marco, Dipper and Star peeked into another one of the rooms. "You know, this place has some seriously luxurious digs."
"Have you gone mad?" Star asked, sounding almost angry.
BOOM!
Star, Marco and Dipper jumped when they heard the explosion.
"That came from the tower." 'Princess' Dipper looked out the window. "Double D must have destroyed the crystal."
"Good." Star held out her dimensional scissors. "I can use this to make a portal to take us to Pony Head now."
"Don't forget Mabel." Dipper quickly reminded.
"Right." Star made a portal and they stepped through.
On the other side was a room and Pony Head was inside, staring out the window.
There she is.
"I am here 'cause I have to say, happy birthday on your birthday day!" Star bounced over to her friend.
"Do you want to get us caught?!" Marco scolded his princess friend.
"Sorry." Star apologized and turned to her other best friend. "Hey, Pony Head!"
Pony Head did not respond.
"Hey, it's us. Here to break you out so we can party!"
Pony Head turned around. Her mane's been braided, her eyes were just too wide and her face was powdered white. Star and Dipper gasped in horror.
"My deepest apologies but I must abstain, as partying is for the unrefined." Pony Head said in a posh accent and laughed creepily.
"That is not the Pony Head that I know and love." Star said, a little fearful now.
Oh man. What could have done to Mabel?" Dipper sivered, wondering what could have happened to his sister.

"Hmm! Hmm!" Mable hummed as she snacked on the food they were serving for dinner. "You going to have that?"
"How can you eat this stuff?" A princess with horns asked as she shoved the bowel of low protein gruel over to Earth girl where she proceeded to eat it.
The two teachers watched as Mabel helped herself to her fourth bowel.
"Why isn't the low protein gruel wearing her down?"
"She's already eaten through four of them. Perhaps she's built some kind of immunity to it."
"Oh this is nothing compared to the Smile Dip they made back on Earth." Mabel shuddered as she remembered the sparkling evil she had foolishly eaten and the price she paid.
Compared to that this gruel was a light snack.
"That stuff was evil compared to this." Mabel said as she grabbed a fifth bowel.
The two robot teachers looked at each other with concern.
This one was a tough nut to crack.

"There. It looks like the wing is all healed up."
He stared at her in complete shock as she withdrew her purple glowing hands.
The girl had magic!
"Well, I am sure you want to spread your wing and soar among the clouds." The girl said, bringing him back outside.
How nice it felt to be able to spread his wings again.
So nice he immediately took off into the air, flying around for a bit but then flew back down to the girl's arm.
"Really?" The girl asked with a surprised and happy face.
He nodded to her.
"Sweet!" The girl, Nyx was so happy.

"I don't know, Nyx."
The girl's sister was a little apprehensive about letting him stay.
"Come on, Tambry. It's not like the old goats will care." Nyx argued.
"It's not that. Looking after a pet, any kind of pet is a big deal." The girl's elder sister Tambry sighed, rubbing her head. "We barely make enough to get by on our own."
"I can help. I can take a job myself and get us the money." Nyx quickly said. "Please. You know I don't ask for much. We can consider this my early birthday present and you don't have to get me anything on my actual birthday."
He watched as his new friend tried to convince her sister who was torn between disappointing Nyx and worried that having an extra mouth to feed; even a parrot would make things hard.
"Nyx, listen." Tambry knelt in front of her sister. "It's not just about food. We'd have to look after him in all things: taking him to the vet, cleaning up any of his…crud and teaching him not to bite or peck at people or steal their pets."
He rolled his eyes at that.
As if he was some common parrot but she didn't know that.
"Please, sis. I won't ask for anything else for the rest of the year. Please." Nyx begged, clasping her hands together. "I won't even complain about when I go to bed. It could be four o'clock right after school and I'll go to bed without even whining."
Tambry raised an eyebrow and sighed. "Tell you what: We'll let him stay for a week and see how things work out. If he doesn't cause trouble for a whole week he can stay. We'll see how things go after that."
"YAY!" Nyx squealed and hugged her sister. "You are the best, Tambry!"
"I know I am." Tambry said as she hugged back.
She looked him, looking a little suspicious of him but didn't make any dirty looks. It seemed she was really going to try for her little sister.
He supposed it was a very touching moment.

Things worked better than Tambry had hoped.
It helped that he had used his Semblance on the older foster couple that was supposed to look after them. He had learned that they only took the money meant to pay them for looking after the girls, they didn't earn it, forcing Tambry to look after her sister since she was little.
But that wasn't the end.
He delved into their history, learning where they had come from.
Mitimotu, an island with a native tribe and a French colony.
He traced the pay offs from a private account owned by Lana Kane.
Or Princess Lanaluakalani of Mitimotu!
Nyx and her sister royalty, cast aside by a princess who was working with Satyra.
What an amazing surprise.
And Nyx's own magical history was an even bigger surprise.
Especially with what she would become.

Professor Pericles watched in stunned awe as she appeared before him, no longer as the little girl who taken him in all those years ago.
She was now a Lady of Chaos.
She appeared as a young woman with her hair longer than her body, swirling around her like a serpent. Her skin was pale now with white tattoos running up arms and ribs. She wore a tank top with no sleeves and was tight enough to show her developed chest, her midriff was exposed and she wore black leather pants, a red belt with a knife attached to it and high heeled shoes.
"Magnificent." Pericles whispered in stunned awe at his friend's striking beauty.
Her eyes were shining bright white that returned to their natural magenta color and her lips were purple like her hair. She held out her hand and Pericles felt a wave of power settle over him, bonding with him down to his very.
"You will be my familiar now, Professor Pericles." The Lady of Chaos masquerading as a young adult said, bringing Pericles into her arms. "My anchor to this plane of existence."
She held a hand over his blind eye and with her magic it healed miraculously.
He could even see through it again!
"Yes, my mistress." Pericles bowed his head as he vanished with his reborn lady, vanishing into the Realm of Chaos.
