Opening File: Fusion
When Gems fuse, their bodies and minds become one. This creates an entirely different entity, as opposed to two minds sharing a single body. Fusion will cause the creation of a new Gem; however, this does not necessarily mean that this Gem does not already exist. A fusion of multiple types of Gems is referred to as a Gem type other than those of the components.
To fuse, Gems must be in perfect sync mentally, physically, and emotionally. Fusions are usually formed when two or more Gems perform a synchronized dance, though this is only optional, as seen with Smoky Quartz. Each fusion's dance is different. Same type Gems are able to fuse by physical contact. If successful, Gems transform into an amorphous mass of light before fully transforming.
During the process of fusion, the gemstones of the participating Gems are visible and will morph into their corresponding locations from their fusing Gems. Fusion only has one purpose in Homeworld society, and that is to be used as weapons during times of conflict, otherwise, their existence is considered purposeless and useless. Fusion, however, can only occur between the same types of Gems, such as two or more Rubies. Cross-Gem fusions, such as a Ruby and a Sapphire, are considered disgraceful and always result in a punishment.
This is to prevent two Gems of lower caste from fusing into a higher-ranking Gem.

"A machine is only as good as the sum of its parts. When a single piece breaks down it breaks down. This aspect can be shared with real life as we all form and are part of system that helps maintain our everyday lives. Farmers grow food, engineers maintain the machines we need such as the engines in our vehicles, construction workers build, historians study history that is taught in schools and politicians try to figure out what the people need and the best way to give it to them." TOM lectured as the file closed. "Understanding we are all parts in the machine and understanding what we all need, everything will just fall into place."

"Well that was one heck of a ride."
After rescuing Mabel and Pony Head from St. Olga's Dipper, Marco, Star and Double D returned with their rescued friends to Marco's home post haste.
"Mabel, are you really okay?" Dipper asked once his sister had come out of the bathroom, wearing a red hooded sweater donated to her from Marco and a rainbow skirt given to her by Star who oddly kept all of her old clothes, even the ones she had grown out of in her closet.
"Yeah, I'm good." Mabel nodded with a smile. "All they did was make me sing a few songs, have some tea which had me going to the bathroom every five minutes and watch a movie I can't remember anything about. Oh but I was an absolute master in the sewing class."
Pony Head leaned in to whisper in Star's ear. "That girl is incorruptible. Why couldn't you be living with her instead of Earth turd?"
Before Star could answer, Double D cleared his throat. "Well, as much as I'd hate to break up such heartfelt reunion we still have a problem."
"And what's that?" Marco asked.
"What's to stop Miss Heinous from coming after us for causing the mass break out? She was able to get away with having so many princesses because she obviously has some level of influence with all the kingdoms." Double D pointed out. "As I understand Miss Star is a princess too so what happens when Heinous contacts her parents and tells her what happened."
"I was disguised so I don't think she recognized me." Star shrugged. "Anyways, Mom won't believe her when I tell her about the horrible things they were doing to all those princesses."
"Besides, we're going to be taking the fight to her." Pony Head said with an evil grin.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Dipper asked.
"I mean I'm going to get all those princesses who were locked up like I was and we're going to take over that school." Pony Head answered. "When you try and take over this Pony Head's mind, war is declared."
"Wait, you are going back?" Star questioned with a frightened face. "But we risked everything to get you out…And it's your birthday!"
"Yeah and you gave me the best birthday gift of all, girl." Pony Head said, nuzzling Star's face. "You got my mind back and you got those other princesses riled up to fight back."
"Technically Mabel was the one to do that." Dipper pointed out. "Marco and I helped too, you know."
"We got to take a stand against those turds at St. Olga's and tell them what kind of princesses we plan to be." Pony Head continued on, seemingly ignoring Dipper's comment. "So I got to go back, Star. I got to lead those freed girls in our revolution!"
"Revolution!" Mabel cheered. "Yeah!"
"See, the Earth girl gets it." Pony Head gestured with her horn. "We'll party some other time."
"Okay." Star said sadly before Pony Head nuzzled her face one last time.
"Cheer up, girl. When you see me again, I'll be running that place!" Pony Head said, grabbing Star's dimensional scissors with her mouth and cut open a portal a second later. "Until then, party extra hard for me!"
Pony Head flew into the portal and it vanished immediately after, leaving Star to sit on her head and let out a saddened sigh as Marco sat next to her. "I guess I will have to party extra hard for her."
"Hey, you don't have to party alone, Star." Marco pointed out with a helping smile.
"Yeah!" Mabel jumped up and sat next to Star on the other side. "We can all party for Pony Head."
"Uh, Mabel. Shouldn't we be getting back to Grunkle Stan's?" Dipper asked skeptically. "He's probably going to know we're missing by now?"

"Kids, come get your breakfast or I'll have to feed it to Soos." Stan banged on the door to Dipper and Mabel's room. "…Refusing to get up and answer me huh? Just want to sleep in huh?" Stan narrowed his eyes but suddenly he then smiled and shrugged. "So you want to sleep the whole day away? That's the spirit, kids! Being more like me every day! Guess I'll take your breakfast outside and let Soos have it."

Raven opened her eyes, seeing Lowemon standing before her with his staff lowered. "I surrender. There's nothing else I can do."
Lowemon nodded as Capital G ended the match.
"Raven forfeits. The winner is Lowemon."
"All right, Lowemon!" Agunimon cheered from the audience while Kazemon clapped with a smile.
Up at the top of the stands, a hero that could be considered a technical member of the Justice Friends frowned at the match. E-Male, the current top hero of Japan and also the Japanese equivalent of Major Glory who is the top hero of America, had come to see these so-called dimensional displaced heroes for himself. Despite his already considerably vast reputation E-Male longed to be more, obsessed with not only being the fastest hero and living being in the world, but also wants to be acknowledge as the top hero of Japan and the symbol of the Land of the Rising Sun. This has led to him resenting, disdaining, if not outright hating those that can potentially rival his speed and serve as competition for the mantle and title of world's fastest like Sonic the Hedgehog.
But also he really hates Living Bullet and Sam-R-I, Living Bullet because he current holds the title he seeks, while with SAM-R-I he despises the fact that even years later after his retirement he's still living in his shadow, despising how SAM-R-I is still seen to this day as Japan's top hero, even having a holiday dedicated to him at that.
SAM-R-I's time had come and passed.

And if not him one day attaining these titles perhaps his son…
"Hi, Papa." A voice spoke through his ear communicator in Japanese. "I'm downloading all of the data from the last battles."
"Good." E-Male nodded.
The hero had high expectations for his son and expected him to live up to them, no matter. Especially in light of other heroes his age such rising to prominence, despising the thought of his son being overshadowed by women, and has made no effort to hide this opinion from him. He expects his son to live up to his father's reputation and become the top hero/hunter of his generation no matter the cost, and possibly be the one to obtain the title of world's fastest mortal/living being after himself. As such he expects his son to put these women in their places and for him to prove that he's better than all of them, perhaps especially these upstarts Dani Phantom and Powerpuff Girls.
"Watch closely, Rui. I am about to see what these new heroes are all about." His eyes landed on a particular one. "Especially the one like SAM-R-I."
"Yes, Papa."
Valhallen walked up to Major Glory and leaned in to whisper. "E-Male put in a personal request for the next match."
Major Glory raised an eyebrow and frowned. "Dare I ask?"
Valhallen nodded as the screen board activated, picking the next contestants.
E-Male verses Johnny Bravo
"Johnny, you're up!" Bunny said, patting her son on the shoulder. "Remember what we talked about?"
"No breaking or cutting of anyone's arm or legs." Johnny held up one finger and then another. "No hitting below the belt."
"And the final one?" Bunny asked.
"No name calling either. Not those kind of fights." Johnny quickly answered.
"Good. Now go show 'em what you're made of!" Bunny patted her one more time as he stood up, holding up Mjolnir.
"You got it, Mama!"
E-Male was silent as he made his way down to the arena, facing Johnny as held up his hammer and flew down to the arena floor, summoning his Asgardian armor in a flash of lightning.
"So, the new Thor gets a shot." Tiki-Torch commented. "Think he's got a chance?"
"Hard to say since I have no clue how far the reincarnation process has gone." Valhallen answered.
"Reincarnation process?" Omnimon spoke up, having never met Johnny before.
"Right, some of you guys are new here. Well, long story short that guy is the reincarnation of my older brother and the first prince of Asgard and the God of Thunder, Thor Odinson." Valhallen explaining, pointing at Johnny as he did a few quick lightning poses.
Raven raised an eyebrow, suddenly thinking of Beast Boy when she looked at Johnny. "Really? This guy?"
"Tell us about it." Erika sighed.
Doyle patted Erika on the shoulder. "So much for making you my Queen of Lightning one day."
"To be fair my brother was not that much different when he was a young man." Valhallen said with a fond smile. "Looking at him now I can see Thor in him. He wouldn't have been able to pick up Mjolnir if he wasn't worthy."
"So that's a literal magic hammer?" Nazz asked, pointing to the hammer on Johnny's hand.
Rolf hummed as he brought his Shepard's Cane. "Rolf suddenly feels a kinship to the hammer wielding nincompoop."
"Regardless, this spar might able to show just how far along he has come." Major Glory stated. "There is a chance it could cause the process to speed up given Thor's past as a warrior of Asgard."
"Given the right kind of fight it will." Valhallen nodded.
The four screens appeared again, selecting the environment for the next match. The arena shifted, becoming a rocky terrain while Fire Dust was used with Ice and Wind Dust to begin producing a windy weather with dark clouds forming overhead.
"Is that arena conjuring a storm?" Abby asked, her surprised look shared by several more.
"By using several forms of Dust it is possible to creature a miniature inside the arena." Major Glory said as the light shields activated. "Ice Dust produces ice which is then heated and melted by Fire Dust with the Gravity Dust helping to create a miniature gravity field around the arena to trap the rising warm air. The Fire Dust also warms the surface, causing more warm air to rise and the melted ice from the Ice Dust creates moisture while the Wind Dust creates unstable air, the two of the most important ingredients for making thunderstorms."
"In order words with the right combination of Dust you guys cannot only environments on land but you can even simulate the weather itself." Ross surmised.
"That's amazing! Right buddy?" Jonny asked Plank.
Nigel held up a hand above his hand, feeling a gentle wind. "The wind even feels real."
"That's the power of Dust. It might not be nature's full power but it represents the potential nature represents if utilized wisely." North stated.
"And by that might you mean instead of making weapons." Doyle mused.
"Indeed I do."
Down in the arena E-Male grinned as he pulled out his weapon, it was shaped like a large disk with a button that was pressed, activating a ring of light around the edges of the disk and emitting a humming sound.
"Wow. That's fancy." Johnny commented. "You make that?"
"Yes." E-Male nodded, holding up the disk. "And I hope to see how it handles against your hammer."
"And…Begin!" Capital G called out once the arena was finished.

With that he threw the disk, starting the fight.

"Let her go!" Steven shouted, standing up and summoning his shield.
"Why? She's just a slave sent her to do the Diamonds' dirty work." Lunaris remarked with a mocking grin.
"I am no slave!" Connie shouted, kicking Lunaris in the chest.
Lunaris grunted and threw Connie away, using enough force that when Connie would hit the wall her body would likely be broken on impact.
If not for Steven leaping up to catch her…
And both vanishing in a flash of light.
"What is this?" Lunaris narrowed his eyes as two children vanished, forming into a single figure that landed on the ground. "A half Gem and a Human fusing together?"
The person looked up, trembling slightly as they looked at their hands. "Wha-What happened?"
When the light faded there was only a single human standing. They were taller than Pearl and Amethyst but a few inches shorter than Garnet. They have an average/athletic build consisting of Connie's slim figure with Steven's chubby and stocky features, curly black hair that reaches to their thighs and a complexion slightly darker than Steven's. They were dark blue pants and a blue high collared top with Steven's signature T-shirt over it and a blue cape with white as gloves on their hands and white boots on their feet.
"Well this is a surprise." Lunaris stated, stepping down from the center throne. "A Human/Gem hybrid fusing with an actual human."
Pearl looked up as her cracked gemstone healed. "…Steven?"
Amethyst managed to sit up and stared at the fusion. "No way…"
Garnet was the last to get up, staring at the fusion through her cracked visor. "…They did it…They actually did it."
The new fusion looked down at their hands, trembling a bit now. "Wh-What is going on? Why do we have the same hands?" The fusion gasped, grasping their cheeks. "Are we…fused?"
"Yes." Lunaris held up his Golden Dream, pointing the crystal ball at the fusion. "And you can die a fusion."
From his scepter came a powerful blast invisible energy that slammed into the fusion while they were distracted, crashing them into the wall and left to tumble down the stairs.
"STEVEN!"
Lunaris ignored the Gems' cries as he slowly walked down the stairs after the fusion, finding them at the bottom of the base. "Congratulations, you survived the first hit. Not many can say they have done the same."
He held up his Golden Dream to fire another blast but the fusion rolled over, dodging the blast as it slammed into the wall next to the mural of Yellow Diamond. The fusion, seemingly moving by mere instinct rushed at Lunaris, only for another energy blast to be sent their way. Holding up their hands, the fusion actually summoned a shield around them that blocked the blast. The shield fell and the fusion was next, falling to their knees as the strain of the shield blocking the blast took a lot out of them.
When they looked up they caught a glimpse of Lunaris swinging his Golden Dream at their head and they rolled away, barely avoiding the scepter before it slammed into their skull as it slammed into the ground.
BOOM!

With his trusty hammer in his hand Johnny blocked the disk that was thrown at him, the force of the attack making him skid back a few feet. The disk rebounded off of Mjolnir and flew back into E-Male's hand as he charged…
And disappeared in a flash of light.
"Uh?"
PUNCH!
"Oof!"
KICK!
"Ow!"
PUNCH!
"Oh!"
ANOTHER PUNCH!
"Hey-"
SLAM!
Johnny groaned as he was lifted up and slammed into ground. "Oof!"
KICK!
Another kick sent him flying.
CRASH!
"Ow." Johnny moaned after slamming into a rock, his vision blurry and he was positive he was seeing stars. "Did anyone catch the number of that rocket ship?"
"Come on, Johnny!" Bunny called out from the audience. "Shake it off! You've been through a lot worse."
"How is that not any worse?" Doyle questioned.
"My Johnny's shrugged off the beatings of nearly every woman in town. He may be as thick as a coconut but he knows how to walk off any beatings or injuries like a man." Bunny replied.
"I can believe." Artemis muttered.
"Me too." Erika nodded.
"Yep." Yara nodded.
Johnny stood up, a little dazed but was otherwise all right. "Okay, I think we got off to a good start here. So about next we-GAH!"
Johnny ducked as E-Male threw his battle disk again and it flew over his head. The disk spun around in the air and flew back to its owner's hand as he shot forward again, swinging it at Johnny who quickly blocked with his hammer.
"Okay, we're really off to a good start." Johnny said as held his hammer, summoning bolts of lightning from the storm above.
The lightning was absorbed into his hammer and he pointed it at E-Male, releasing all the absorbed electricity. E-Male dodged, turning into a blue bolt that easily dodged the lightning and followed up with a kick to Johnny's chest.
"This is just sad." The blue haired hero said, watching as Johnny slammed into another boulder. "To think you are supposedly the reincarnation of the God of Thunder."
Just as Johnny got back up, seemingly not hurt at all E-Male shot forward, delivering a series of punches and kicks before deciding to end this by grabbing him by the collar and after spinning him in a circle a few times he threw him straight up into the storm clouds overhead.
"Johnny!" Bunny screamed, seeing her baby boy vanish into the clouds where there was a blast of lightning….
And for a second everyone thought he might have been killed by the lightning.
Just as Major Glory was about to end the match and go down to give E-Male a piece of his mind there was another blast of lightning from inside the storm clouds, one that spread out and blew the clouds away.
Johnny Bravo, the reincarnation of Thor was alive…
And he was not just still alive.
He was blazing with power as he simply hovered in the middle of the Dust created storm that seemed to grow in intensity. An aura of pure lightning surrounded him as he held up his hammer and his eyes blazed with electricity from the very storm that should have killed him.
"It's happened…" Valhallen muttered. "He's woken up."

The fusion of Steven and Connie was now backed against the door as Lunaris slowly approached, pointing his Golden Dream at them.
"This farce of a fight has gone on long enough." He said, ready to finish them off.
"LEAVE THEM ALONE!"
Turning around, Lunaris was greeted with the surprising sight of the three Crystal Gems fusing together to form Alexandrite who immediately tried to grab the moon general. Lunaris quickly fired an invisible blast that knocked Alexandrite's hand away, causing her to grunt before she reached into her gemstones, summoning Garnet's gauntlets and Pearl's spear, fusing them to form a giant double fisted hammer. The fusion of Steven and Connie looked to their right and saw the control mechanism for the door, immediately getting an idea. They jumped to the side, slamming their hand on the door controls and held on for dear life as the door opened, exposing the base to the vacuum of space.
"What?!" Lunaris spun around, seeing the open door and the vacuum was powerful enough to lift him off his feet.
Just as he lifted off the ground Alexandrite swung her hammer. He barely had enough time to raise his Golden Dream to form an invisible barrier as it hit.
POW!
The barrier was enough to protect him as he was sent flying out the door…but not before he grabbed the fusion's hands that were holding onto the wall to prevent being pulled out into space.
"STEVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!"
Those were the last words the fusion of Steven and Connie heard as it was sucked out into space with General Lunaris.

"Good job capturing these criminals."
Ben could only smile as he along with his cousin, grandpa and Julie watched as the criminals that attacked them were loaded into the police van.
"These guys are low time trouble makers but the less on the street the better I say." The police officer said once he took all their statements. "Any reason they chose to attack you?"
Ben shrugged. "Probably just to rob us."
"I suppose that is reason enough." The office put his notepad away. "Well safe journeys to you and-"
"Captain!" Another office rushed up, holding his tablet. "New orders came in, sir!"
The police captain looked at the tablet for a second and then back at the Tennysons. "I am sorry but we have a problem."
"What is that?" Max Tennyson asked.
"We have a warrant for the arrest of one Julie Yamamoto." The police captain said, looking at Julie as she suddenly turned pale. "On account of destruction of public property, burning down several buildings and endangering lives."
