Opening File: Legion of Doom

The Legion of Doom was a supervillain organization put together by Gorilla Grodd to become the antithesis of the expanded Justice League. While it seemed that the Secret Society disbanded, Gorilla Grodd actually expanded the organization by recruiting several supervillains in the same fashion as the Justice League, renaming themselves as the Legion of Doom. Unlike the League, however, members were allowed to pursue their own operations, be it robbery or whatever, but they had the option of calling upon the organization for assistance should superheroes interfere. For such service, the standard fee was 25% of the relevant job's gross earnings.

Members of the Legion had run-ins with the League several times, but managed to leave the League in the dark as to the organization's existence. Behind the scenes, Gorilla Grodd led the Legion until Lex Luthor usurped leadership. Given that Grodd had just attempted to turn all humanity into apes, included the Legionnaires themselves, there were no spoken objections at the coup. Luthor's obsession with resurrecting Brainiac, however, hurt his leadership abilities, and when he took the Legion's headquarters into space in a final bid to accomplish his goal, many of the rogues mutinied against him, led by Gorilla Grodd.

The Secret Society members loyal to Luthor were Atomic Skull, Bizarro, Cheetah, Evil Star, Giganta, Heat Wave, Sinestro, Doctor Destiny, Star Sapphire, Toyman, and Volcana.

The group loyal to Grodd were Blockbuster, Shade, Hellgrammite, Copperhead, Key, Electrocutioner, Goldface, Killer Frost, Neutron, Parasite, Rampage, Silver Banshee, Fastball, Weather Wizard, Monocle, KGBeast, Lady Lunar, Doctor Cyber, Crowbar, Major Disaster, Angle Man, Bloodsport, Merlyn, and Tala.

After a battle that raged throughout the structure, Luthor sent Grodd into the vacuum of space, crushing the rebellion. With the surviving mutineers Parasite, Copperhead, Blockbuster, Weather Wizard, Rampage, Shade, Hellgrammite, Fastball, The Key, Killer Frost, and Goldface gathered before him, Luthor asked why he should spare any of them. Killer Frost suddenly defected to Luthor by freezing her comrades, earning herself a pardon. Soon after, though, Luthor resurrected not Brainiac but Darkseid (killing Tala in the process), and one of his first acts was to destroy the Hall with everybody inside.

The attack was not as successful as he thought — Sinestro and Star Sapphire managed to protect their allies with their ring and gem, although those already frozen by Killer Frost were destroyed. The fate of some of the Luthor supporters not shielded by Sinestro remained uncertain (such as Doctor Destiny, Major Disaster, Bloodsport, Lady Lunar, the Electrocutioner, or KGBeast, (who also had switched allegiance back to Luthor). The remaining members of the Legion made it to Earth in time to warn the League of Darkseid's coming invasion. Together, they fought off Darkseid's hordes. Luthor himself confronted Darkseid with the Anti-Life Equation, resulting to them being absorbed into the Source Wall.

In the battle's aftermath, what was left of the Legion was awarded a "five-minute head start" by Batman. They were last seen fleeing from the League.

Opening File: Gorilla Grodd

Grodd (also known as Gorilla Grodd) was a hyper-intelligent ape, native to Gorilla City. Grodd was a scientist in Gorilla City. He developed a helmet that allowed him to control the minds of others. The Gorilla City security force stopped him from using it in the city, but he escaped capture and eventually wound up in Central City, where he ran afoul of the Flash and Green Lantern. Grodd was seemingly rendered harmless after Flash 'crossed a few wires' in his mind control helmet and tricked him into using it.

This fried his brain and everyone assumed that he was brain-dead. Grodd not only recovered from this, but no longer needed the helmet to control minds. At some point, according to a story he would later tell Clayface, Grodd met a female gorilla named Giganta, whom he transformed into a human, who could grow to many times her normal size. It is unknown if she always had this ability or if it was as a result of Grodd's work, or even if the story was true or not.

Grodd and Giganta would later recruit Shade, Parasite, Sinestro, Killer Frost, and Clayface into the Secret Society, a group to oppose the Justice League. Grodd started playing mind games with the league, which left their integrity as a team fragile and the individual members vulnerable to capture. With the Justice League incapacitated, Grodd brought his Society to a stadium in Gotham to announce to the world about a new order. When the League escaped captivity and reforged its bonds, both sides faced off, but the Secret Society was defeated in the end.

Grodd would later revive the Secret Society, but on a much grander scale; nearly every supervillain on Earth was inducted into one group. To this end, Grodd helped Lex Luthor escape from prison, and secured Luthor's services in Grodd's employ by promising Luthor the last piece of Brainiac, a cube which contained Brainiac's entire computer code, from which Luthor could reconstitute his 'partner'. Grodd also installed psychic safeguards in each of his allies' minds; if they were ever in a situation where his plans could be revealed, their brains would automatically 'short circuit' and shut down, wiping their memories and leaving them comatose. Grodd also freed Tala from the mirror Felix Faust tricked her into, winning her loyalty and affection in the process.

After the Legion recovered various artifacts and devices (including the Heart of Nanda Parbat), Grodd had his Society invade Gorilla City. Taking control of its advanced shield generator, Grodd finally revealed his grand scheme: With the Heart boosting its power and a DNA sequencer installed in its circuitry, the generator would broadcast a signal to turn all of humanity into apes. Grodd succeeded in his plan, but his smug assurance of victory would be his undoing. Moments after Tala teleported Grodd, Luthor, and herself away, the Justice League arrived and destroyed the device, reverting everyone on earth back to normal.

Back at Grodd's headquarters, Luthor was so disgusted with Grodd's plan that he incapacitated Grodd by shooting him with a non-lethal weapon and took over the Legion (which Luthor was planning to do eventually, but the sheer ridiculousness of Grodd's plan prompted him to bump up his schedule).[7] To add insult to injury, Grodd was thrown into his own prison and left to watch Tala transfer her fickle affections towards Luthor within moments of his takeover.

Luthor kept Grodd alive for information on the Brainiac piece, even attempting to use his own mental technology to tear the information from the ape's head. However, due to the League's attempts to track Grodd and the Legion down (and some bad timing), Grodd became a circuit that caused Luthor and the Flash to switch minds. Grodd was immediately aware of the switch, but chose to keep quiet for his own amused revenge, having decided to see how long the Flash could keep up the ruse before being discovered and torn apart by the Legion.

After many fruitless attempts to get Luthor's attention away from Brainiac, Tala decided to go back to Grodd, helping him to escape and lead a mutiny against Luthor. The Society was effectively split into two factions; Grodd loyalists and Luthor loyalists. While the two sides fought a full-blown civil war, Grodd and Lex had a one-on-one fight that Grodd clearly dominated. Unfortunately, the gorilla's arrogance worked against him; despite having Luthor at his mercy, the latter's taunts goaded Grodd into using his mental powers, hoping to dominate Luthor's mind.

The moment Grodd activated his telepathy, Luthor used a failsafe device to turn Grodd's own powers back against him. Under Luthor's control, Grodd bowed before his rival and walked forward into an airlock. For the final insult, Luthor released his reflected control on Grodd. Outraged at being outsmarted (least of all, by a human), the gorilla expressed his regret of recruiting Luthor. Luthor gave his farewells to Grodd just before opening the airlock. Glaring impotently at the treacherous human, Grodd swore revenge before being sucked out into space, never to be seen again.

Opening File: Valerie Gray

Once a popular, shallow girl, Valerie's life takes a turn for the worse when accidents caused by a ghost dog cost her father his job. No longer living an average life, Valerie vowed revenge against all ghosts for ruining her life after being given a ghost-hunting suit and gears from Vlad Masters (unbeknownst to her at the time). Vlad employed her to do his bidding until she found out that Vlad was a half-ghost and that he was manipulating her. She is hot-tempered, which often clouds her judgment, but slowly starts to realize a world beyond the superficial. She briefly strikes a romance with Danny Fenton, but clashes very often with his alter ego.

Valerie becomes better at suppressing her fiery emotions, especially when she has to team up with her least favorite ghost or makes occasional truces with him. Danny and his friends might see her as a foe, but Valerie thinks of herself as the hero, even though she's actually an anti-hero. Valerie truly means well and is positive that Danny and all ghosts are evil, so her hatred motivates her to hunt them down. Although more fierce and harsh in the way she treats enemies than Danny, she does have the right intentions of saving everyone from harm.

Sometimes, her firm stance in her beliefs gets shaken up. She strongly trusted that Vlad wasn't a ghost or a bad guy, but when she found out the truth, she was shocked and immediately decided that she'll get him back for his deceit. While certain that torturing humans is wrong, she struggled over whether letting a half-human/half-ghost be killed is morally right, only finally agreeing to it after Danny persuaded her. Valerie isn't completely aware about many things concerning ghosts, yet she is sure that it's her duty to ward them off from innocent people, like her father and her crush, Danny.

"TOM I'm receiving a message." SARA says. "By EndeavorT."

"Isn't he one of the GrimmFall contributors?" TOM asks as he sits in his chair.

"Yes, apparently he's written a new GrimmFall movie, M rated in fact." SARA says. "He's asking if we can play an audio broadcast from its first chapter to get the word out."

"I'm already curious myself, fire it up." TOM says.

SARA plays the audio broadcast and the screen changes into an emergency broadcast channel appearance.

'The following message is transmitted at the request of local authorities. At 9:47am mountain standard time, a disaster of unknown type has occurred at the Black Mesa Research Facility causing significant damage and failure to various power and communication systems in the surrounding areas. An immediate evacuation order has been issued for all residents within a 75 mile radius of the facility and on-site military has been dispatched to provide assistance. Make sure to bring an emergency supply of food, water, clothing, first-aid kit, flashlights with extra batteries, and battery powered radios. Follow local evacuation routes which have been marked by local authorities and only use one vehicle. Do not return to the warning area until the all-clear has been given. If you are not in the evacuation zone stay where you are. If you are within the evacuation area and have no transportation, locate your nearest police department or military officer. Do not use telephones or any communication device except in the case of emergencies. Stay tuned to local news media outlets for further details and information on this situation.'

"That certainly sounds ominous." TOM says. "What's Black Mesa?"

"From what I've learned their an American research corporation helmed by the U.S. government." SARA explains. "I've tried accessing logs on what they do but a lot of it's encrypted. From what I've learned they've been doing research from standard scientific research as well as chemistry and all manner of physics research. And that's just stuff that isn't classified."

"I wonder what's going on with them that warranted an emergency broadcast?" TOM asks.

"Perfect."

Van Kleiss could hardly believe his luck but then again with his genius one could hardly call it luck. With Breach's ability to open tears in space and time he not only could establish a connect to any reality but to almost any time in any reality he targeted.

This made acquiring his latest target easy since it was right after he acquired the first target from that reality.

"Why this kid?" Biowulf asked, staring at the capsule that held the unconscious Beast Boy.

"My purpose in choosing him is actually threefold." Van Kleiss held up two fingers. "One, he might be of use to our friends in the Honey Island Swamp project. The ability to shapeshift into any known animal shows remarkable potential."

"And the others?"

Van Kleiss grinned as he turned around and walked over to where the body of his AMAZO android was lying. "Why to possibly create an entirely new being."

He stopped at the main computer and brought up a list of all the powers the android had scanned thanks to his drones.

"Two: with my drones at work AMAZO has already amassed a great deal of potential, mostly from scanning Faunus and Mobians but for every dark cloud there is a silver lining." Van Kleiss stopped at the digital blueprints of the Omnitrix. "AMAZO can not only copy powers but with a little work he can distribute them as well. When I am ready I will hold all the powers but I will need members of our new Pack to be powerful as well. More powerful than any EVO I've ever created."

On the left arm of the android appeared a complete copy of the Omnitrix that later dissolved into a mass of nanites that Van Kleiss placed in a container.

"A shape shifter to go with a device that can transform anyone who uses it into any life form living in this entire universe. How can I pass up the chance to study such a specimen?" Van Kleiss slowly approached Beast Boy's capsule. "Turning him into a mindless EVO is not enough, not after everything I've witnessed from the dimension and so many others. As I ascend I would need to have lieutenants powerful enough that I can rely on against the likes of Sammael, Sebben, and even that oafish reincarnation of a thunder god."

He opened a small compartment and allowed the nanites to enter it, traveling into the capsule and latching onto Beast Boy's arm.

"And three: he can serve as a psychological weapon against the young demoness." Van Kleiss grinned.

As soon as the nanites formed into the Omnitrix around Beast Boy's arm there was a flash of green light. The Omntrix created by AMAZO had duplicated the original one down to not only its very molecules but even to the exact same programming.

Thus when it attached itself to Beast Boy it scanned his body.

Subject is possibly capable of merging with DNA strands in the Codon Stream, enhancing shapeshifting abilities

Running Analyses

Omnitrix must stabilize host DNA and ensure host is kept in stasis for duration of DNA modification and fusion

Commencing Biological Merger Sequence

Estimated Time: Twenty Four Earth Hours

Van Kleiss watched as the new Omnitrix fully merged with Beast Boy and observed as there was flash of green light that traveled from the Omnitrix in the form of glowing green lines spreading up his arm and all over his body, outlining his entire nervous system.

Suddenly Beast Boy's eyes shot open and let out an agonized scream as his body began morphing at an extremely fast rate, shattering the capsule he had been placed in. "GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Arms turned into tentacles, changing into claws, legs split into two or more and wings, feathery and bat-like sprouted from his back. Biowulf and Skalamander moved to restrain him but Van Kleiss held them back, wanting to see the spectacle happening before him. Beast Boy then returned to his human form and collapsed back into the remains of the capsule, slipping back into a deep sleep.

Van Kleiss stood over the capsule, grinning. "Excellent. I can only imagine how the rest will handle what I have to offer."

Gathering his things from the arena to rejoin his friends and team, Ross thought of the recent new ideas to improve their skills more to prevent the same mistakes and train more with different people like Superboy and Artemis to adapt. While his Semblance is very useful to see certain points to avoid, but needed to improve the limits than just his Semblance, learning new techniques for his certain fighting styles he'd taken thought of with North to help use his Aura in the same way of how he channeled it through his body. Taking in mind from Mayor Sebben's word to help work together with others like Team SEKR and now Ross understood what he wanted to demonstrate. Granted, he didn't know some of their abilities in person until now, but now understanding their reputation Ross fully understood just how powerful they were. After witnessing Scotty's power, he was relieved they were on the same side and could stand a chance of defeating a Fallen.

He wanted to see what the boy named Rolf was capable of with that cane he earned after defeating Crom and so far he was very skilled and might have a good future as a Huntsman with the right training and was already teaching the kids of the basic needs to be future hunters. Considering the next time they have a sparring match he will remember to improve their skills. He was surprised to find his wife with her best friends but hoped he put a good show for her and not got too worried after losing the match.

The Lion Faunus turned to the blue haired boy and see how he was doing. "So, how did it feel fighting against an elite huntsman?"

Rolf turned to them and nodded. "Rolf has much to learn, spec-wearing/two sword carrying Ross, but Rolf vows to become stronger and learn the secrets of his cane."

Rino came over and grinned. "Kid's got spunk, ya gotta need that to keep up if you wanna be a Huntsman. But good match, friend. Anyone else who fought us would have lasted a few seconds."

Ross nodded to accept the compliment. "To be honest I didn't think I would have lasted long against either of you. Had it been the leader, I doubt anyone apart from Agunimon would've last a second."

Keanu responded in a laugh over hearing it. "No kiddin! First time I saw his power, I stood and never flinched."

"I almost thought you wet yourself back then." Rino said with a teasing grin and earning a narrowed glare from the swordsman while snickering.

"That was a spilled tea I just had and you know it!" Keanu corrected him on his statement before he turned to his former competitors. "It was years ago and was just getting into the groove! But if you looking for new styles, I'm happy to oblige." But noticed three young beautiful women and whistled. "Heads up, boys, hotties at 12!"

Rino softly shook his head and sighed. "Seems you and that shades wearing hammer dude have something in common."

"Is someone cooking at lunch?" Rolf asked, looking around.

Ross turned and recognized the spies but also seeing Sam in their spy outfits, a little concerned and worried she was sick again after this morning but seemed fine so far. "Scuse me, fellas."

He sheathed his swords and headed off.

Valerie wasn't entirely sure how she should feel once it was all over.

One the one hand Danny Fenton who turned out to be Danny Phantom all along had saved the world.

On the other hand he was Danny Phantom that originally ruined her life.

It was only later it was all an accident caused by that ghost dog while Vlad Masters, the man she had once considered to be someone she trusted used and manipulated her. Her world had been turned upside down but she supposed she should be used to that. It did bring up the uncomfortable feelings of when she and Danny were together but broke it off to protect him.

Turns out he didn't need protecting at all.

Now he was with that Goth-girl, Sam and even had a ring to go with it.

And to think she thought rings were lame.

To try and shake the feelings off she decided to go on a late night patrol like she always did. Maybe she could find something to distract her.

Just as she was up in the air there was a flash of light followed by a blast that shut down her systems.

"What the-" Valerie was cut off as she fell straight into the golden light.

"Hey, what brings you girls over here?" Yara asked, happy to see them when the fight was over, no doubt with the event completed and now understanding each other's abilities she bet Sebben will have plans for both teams and their allies

"Sam thought to make a surprise visit and heard about the spars. If we did I would've totally wanted to see some action." Alex almost wished she taped it and came earlier.

"Not to worry, they got it filmed and recorded so no doubt if you ask they might." Yara assured her and no doubt wanting to watch them herself to learn and improve her skills. "Obviously now we know about each other's skills of our new buds, lot of us will work up our game. Least it gave the kids a show after what they went through."

"Seriously, did that strange kid carried a… fish?" Clover asked and thought it was strange.

Even though as energetic and a hard brawler to do anything crazy, but carrying a fish everywhere is not one for the bluenette Huntress. "I'm amazed that he didn't end up dragon bait by the dragons or even that little critter cause of their taste for fish."

"Ugh! As if things don't get any stranger." Clover thought and looked at the robot parts that she remembered being the machines that attacked the place some time ago. "Well, least Sammie seems alright now from earlier."

"What do you mean?" North came over to help clean up their things from the room for further research until he heard about their talk. "Is she not well?"

"Uh, well, ok, not want to worry Ross that's all but she suddenly felt sick. I dunno what it was, maybe something she ate." Clover mentioned.

"Sick? But she looked well just now." Yara inquired.

"Yeah, not to mention earlier she was tired and then suddenly hungry. But so far she seems fine and brushed it off." Alex mentioned and gotten their curiosity about it.

"Uh, you suppose she could maybe head to the doc around here to check up? Maybe just something she had from her trip earlier. I remember one I had from my trip and almost had a stomach flu." Yara told them.

"Either that or perhaps something else." North thought aloud. "But right now DexLab appears to be on the search for something called the Cluster and SEKR will possibly need help. Since Raven can travel between worlds with magic this could prove useful to help."

"Yeah, give a heads up to their homes if they get invaded by the Fallen or something else from an early staged plan…" Yara brought up and hopefully it can be stopped soon. But suddenly stopped and turned to the spies of what they mentioned earlier. "Did you say she was sick in the morning? And tired?"

Clover didn't know what she was getting at and confused. "Uh, yeah?"

Yara and North wondered and thought of something. "I think I might have something that could be an idea."

Meanwhile Erika was talking with Doyle over the plans before they head back home. "Uh, you sure your dad won't be mad when he finds out about us, I mean you know what he's like and-"

Erika couldn't help but try to hold in the urge to chuckle over how nervous Doyle was as if it was like meeting them for the first time. "Doyle, don't let it get to you, even if they didn't know about our relationship after we left, he won't get mad. My parents took you in and consider you part of the family." She assured him. "Alright so maybe I might be nervous as well, but it's not something like a marriage proposal."

"Yeah, just picture it like my first time flying a dragon." Doyle said while relieved to hear they still trust him after all this time and was really grateful for her father on that day he found him. "But if one of them asked how physical it was-"

"It's not their business, got it." She quickly responded, already on to what he was thinking and no doubt be embarrassing if her mother brought it up.

But one thing that be the she was most nervous of about their future if brought up other than becoming the next chieftess of her tribe. She truly loves Doyle and had this crush on him since they were 12 and knew some girls found him cute. But over time when they confessed their feelings before they went their separate ways they both vowed to help each other out and made plans to meet between missions. Besides, considering the times they went through together and stuff, she would trust him with her life… and also to keep him out of trouble.

"But never hurts to bring a helmet." No doubt both Doyle and Lodin would get into a brawl, either through shock or test his worth for her hand by his statement.

Since meeting Ross' wife, maybe she could ask some pointers and how they kept their relationship strong since he found out about her working as a spy for WHOOP.

"Hey, aren't those the spies from WHOOP?" She heard Doyle and realized it was Sam, Clover and Alex. They must have come over to visit.

Erika remembered something and wanted to be certain if they found something before she "I'll go up to them and thought to ask, you go check on our dragons." She reached up and kissed him on the cheek. "And don't get into trouble."

Doyle thought it was funny and laughed. "Babe, come on, it's me."

"Yeah, that's the problem." She replied but couldn't help but tease back.

"Yoh, bud!" Doyle sees the two boys he met earlier run up to him. "We were wondering if we can see your dragons?" Wally asked with enthusiasm.

"Can we see them? Please. Please. Please!" Ed pleaded when on his knees and hands held.

Doyle wasn't sure but maybe find out how they got a Terrible Terror, and also not want to get into trouble. "Well, dunno kid. But unless someone else came and if you explain how you got that critter, maybe."

"Oh, I got him from the alien planet we were taken to." Ed answered and Nestor's head popped out of his jacket.

"Ok, that I didn't expect so you better tell us what you know and maybe bring another adult like Erika to help and bring one of the grownups." Doyle thought and gave some advice to them. "But you gotta be careful and follow our directions. Got it?"

"No prob, I've always wanted to see a real living dragon up close." Wally said and pressed his thumb to his chest. "I can imagine myself as a rider of something like that big one."

"I should have let you rot in jail!"

He really should have.

Letting this human out and forcing him to join his Secret Society cost him dearly.

Luthor had usurped him, humiliated him, used his society for his insane goal of merging with a dead computer and when he thought he had it all back…

Luthor took it from him again.

"Goodbye, Grodd." Luthor stated stoically on the other side of the door. "It could have gone either way."

"It really could have, couldn't it?" Grodd asked, calming down.

Luthor smiled. "No, but why speak ill of the dead?"

He slammed his fist down on the switch, opening the airlock on the other side. Driven by fear Grodd held on for dear life but the pull of the vacuum of space was too strong.

"You twisted little pink rat-hole of a hominid, I'm not done with you! I'll get out of this, and when I do...!" Grodd hollered out as he thrown out into space and airlock closed.

As it closed Grodd fell into a golden portal that opened up right behind him.

"Can any of you give me one good reason to let you live?" Luthor asked once the mutiny was over.

Killer Frost, one of Grodd's supporters stepped out…and froze what remained of Grodd's loyalists.

"Killer Frost... you've got a future." Luthor stated.

They were all left frozen in ice as Killer Frost rejoined Luthor, thinking nothing of those she had betrayed.

While sitting in the cafeteria of the Hall of Heroes Phil Ken Sebben calmly sipped his lemonade while reaching for his eyepatch. Slowly lifting it up when he was sure no one was looking he lifted it up fully, revealing a crystalline eye where a human one would have been, shining with all the colors in existence and in each color revealed a series of events, all leading to a series of possible futures.

The man known as Van Kleiss standing in front of an assembly of beings gathered from other dimensions.

The boy named Jimmy with the shadowed form of a bat like creature sitting on his shoulder before it grew into something bigger.

A woman with an owl on her shoulder, facing a young girl with a long black hair with a single strand of red running through it.

A bulking muscular woman resembling a vampire attacking a boy in a suit of armor.

A man imprisoned in a crystal, buried deep in the Earth.

A tear in the sky growing as a triangular shaped monster descended from it.

Four horsemen rode across the desolate plain of Nowhere, only they were not men. They were skeletons dressed in Norse style armor, wielding a sword, axe, a spear and a spiked mace and each had red glowing eyes.

A creature with two pairs of eyes staring directly at him, even though it was only a vision with a huge gaping maw threatening to swallow everything.

A woman holding out a shining gem merging with her heart.

And there was Sammael, standing at the very top with a massive monster in the air above him, grinning as a storm raged across the land.

Sebben quickly sealed his 'eye' again, taking a deep breath as he took a moment to compose himself. "It's starting…"

The series of events about to happen led to several possible futures that would lead the world and the rest of the universe down a dark path.

The nexus point of where several futures collided in a way that would test not just him but everyone.

Destinies would collide.

Friendships would be tested.

The hard earned peace was not just in danger of being breached but in danger of being completely shattered.

"I'll need to make some calls…" Sebben narrowed his one normal eye. "If what I saw was true…The Gem of Heart is about to be found…Hopefully by the right person."

The possible futures were facing now, neck and neck, toe and toe and only one would make it to the finish line.

Miss Martian could hardly believe she was finally in the League after having helped defeat the Furious Five.

It was a long hard and grueling battle but worth it in the end.

Of course a blast of fire of fire that came out nowhere halted those plans, blinding and weakening her before a golden hand shot out and grabbed her before she could react.

"What is going on?"

Steven, Connie and the Crystal Gems were brought to the bridge of the ship with Gantu facing them and immediately answering. "Two things: one the Gem ship has left the system. I am not sure what happened but they immediately broke off engaging with us and almost took us out when they went to FTL."

That was bit of a relief but also alarming.

When did a Gem warship arrive only to then retreat?

Gems under the Diamond Authority do not sight see.

"And the other?" Shen asked.

"This." Gantu pointed to the view screen, showing a strange vampire like creature chasing after what appeared to be someone in a suit of armor. "It has a Gem signature."

"Jasper!" Garnet, Pearl and Amethyst exclaimed.

Shen looked at them. "You know her?"

"She is Jasper, one of the most dangerous Gems Homeworld sent after us." Garnet answered with eyes narrowed under her visor. "She's attained a new power from her fusion with Lapis and if she's not stopped the entire world could be in danger."

"Then we better do something." Shen stated.

"Our orders are not to interfere with Earthly matters." Gantu stated.

"But we have been ordered to look into Gem hostility in this system." Shen calmly replied. "And this is one."

Gantu narrowed his eyes but grudgingly nodded. "Very well but it will only be a small ship to remain undetected."

"Very well."

"So what do you think the boss wants with us?"

"Probably something big."

"It always is."

A large pair of doors opened and from the eternal blackness emerged Sammael, smiling as he greeted his new guests. "Welcome, Team TRMT(Terminate). Stating with you, Torto."

Leading the team was a giant turtle Mobian, with spikes protruding from the shell on his back.

"Raptor."

Next was a frog like Mobian that wore almost nothing except for a black loincloth and knee pads.

"Miotis."

Next was bat-like humanoid, possibly Faunus or Mobian with wings instead of arms.

"And finally, The Claw."

The last member was a Yeti-like creature with mechanical arms.

"Team TRMT, the most recent addition to the Invisible Hand." Sammael spread his arms into a welcoming gesture. "Welcome my friends. We have a lot of work ahead of us…Starting with a little party being hosted by Van Kleiss."

Shame, such a shame

I think I kind of lost myself again

Day, yesterday

Really should be leaving but I stay

Say, say my name

I need a little love to ease the pain

I need a little love to ease the pain

It's easy to remember when it came

'Cause it feels like I've been

I've been here before

You are not my savior

But I still don't go

Feels like something

That I've done before

I could fake it

But I still want more

Fade, made the fade

Passion's overrated anyway

Say, say my name

I need a little love to ease the pain

I need a little love to ease the pain

It's easy to remember when it came

'Cause it feels like I've been

I've been here before

You are not my savior

But I still don't go, oh

I feel like something

That I've done before

I could fake it
