Opening File: Carmen Sandiego
Carmen Sandiego is a former professional thief at V.I.L.E. Academy, but later defected to see the world for her own. Formerly known as the Black Sheep Carmen was raised by a series of nannies from around the world, who gave her a broad education of fundamentals such as reading and writing as well as cultural and geographic exposure. Simply by being raised on an island that trained thieves, she became adept at the techniques practiced at V.I.L.E. academy on her own, despite being the youngest person on the island. Though she had a cheeky streak, she was mostly allowed to get away with whatever she wanted thanks to her guardians.
After discovering that V.I.L.E. trains thieves to steal no matter the cost, she leaves the organization and sets out to take it down. After becoming a renowned international criminal, she is pursued by Interpol, ACME agents, and even by V.I.L.E. itself. However help came in the form of Phil Ken Sebben who somehow discovered she had come to the city of GrimmFall for shelter to hide and offered to help her bring down V. . and start a new life, recognizing her skills and compassion. Working with other Huntsmen that specialized in espionage such as Secret Squirrel and Detective Inch V.I.L.E. was eventually brought down.
Going from thief to official Huntress Carmen Sandiego worked in the shadows, infiltrating various crime organizations and helped to steal back priceless items and arrest the criminals. Having extensive mastery in martial arts and armed with her spy equipment, Carmen became one of the world most efficient Huntresses/Secret Agents.

Opening File: Me-Mow
Me-Mow is an feline Mobian and an assassin who has not only never failed record, but a feared reputation for her relentless determination of never stopping her pursuit of a contract or target no matter where it takes her. No matter what target she has or contract she gets she won't stop till it's completed and depending on the mission the target is either dead or captured. This has combined with her track record of never failing to claim her bounty has led to her gaining a reputation as one of the most feared warriors, assassins, bounty hunters, and mercenaries in the world. Not much is known about her own history but it is known that birth after being abandoned by her biological parents has been on her own without anyone to call her family. Where as a child she not only struggled to survive and used a strange power to steal to do so, but was also treated as outcast and freak by everyone because of her powers at worst, and at best people sought to use her a weapon at worst.
This has led to Me-Mow since a young child thinking she could only count on herself and couldn't truly trust anyone but herself. As well as believing in this world that the weak died and that she needed to become strong in order to survive. So she worked and trained herself to the bone to master not only apparent Shapeshifter abilities, but also her Semblance later on when her Aura was unlocked. Though she learned to not overly rely on either of them treating both skills/powers as just another weapon of arsenal, as she honed her combat skills as well and did her best not to become arrogant or ever underestimate any enemy that crossed her way.
Where perhaps Me-Mow might only seem concerned with four things strength, her reputation, survival, and technos. But it could turn underneath that she hides something deeper than what people first think about her. Where maybe at a young besides growing strong perhaps Me-Mow has always felt like she was searching for something, but has never known what or who she might be seeking. Perhaps answers to the source of her mysterious Shapeshifter abilities especially after she learned she was a hybrid between Mobian and unknown DNA source.
Or her birth parents to either confront them or to make them pay for the pain they caused her by killing them.

Opening File: Alexis Bagge
Alexis Bagge is the daughter of Eustace and Muriel Bagge, niece of the late Horst Bagge and granddaughter of Ickett and Ma Bagge. Born on the Bagge farm Alexis seemed to have inherited her mother's kindness and the cunning, swindling talent from her father's side of the family. Luckily Alexis has none of their cruelty, leading her to having a strained relationship with her grandparents and uncle who looked down on her father for most of his live. Alexis did not shed much tears when her grandfather and uncle passed away and has long since given up trying to form any kind of positive connection with her grandmother.
She also despises her cousin Fred for his obsessive shaving habits and once almost beat him to death when she caught him trying to shave her pet hamster and later Courage after Muriel adopted him. Needless to say aside from her parents Alexis does not have a high opinion of the rest of her family for their con-artist ways or their mental problems. Alexis followed her grandmother in becoming head of a company, the Bagge Animal Rescue Association and hosting a great number of programs for helping orphans and homeless people, the exact opposite of what her family has done in the past. Alexis has also worked to help better relationships between Humans, Faunus and Mobians to end the discrimination and help repair the damage down by Satyra.

Opening File: The Red Caps
The Red Caps are a vicious gang operating in GrimmFall that traffic weapons, Dust, counterfeit Technos, drugs and they even take part in slave trading. They have been known to kidnap families of Human, Faunus or Mobian origin to sell them to large companies for forced labor, forced child labor, domestic servitude and even unlawful recruitment of child soldiers. They most target poor families, especially Faunus and Mobian families and kill anyone who stands in their way. The leader of the group is named Robin Redcap and the logo is a white skull with blood dripping from the top of the skull.

Opening File: Hidekazu Kobayashi
Hidekazu is the leader of a crime syndicate in Japan known as the Tetsu Kirazu(Translation: Killers of Iron). The group is similar to the Red Caps, the Satyra and the League of Super Criminals
Hidekazu is overall, an eccentric character, perhaps the most within the 'Tetsu Kirazu' gang(even though he is the mighty leader of them). He seems to honor the samurai code of honor very heavily as he comically attempts to take his own life after dishonoring himself. As he accepts the blame for nearly anything, even the faults of others, this happens quite often in his appearances. Before he commits seppuku, however, he instinctively uses his Iron Semblance, unintentionally saving his own life in a rather comical way.
Hidekazu also is a person who thinks that 'real men' shouldn't cry or give up. Hidekazu resembles a character in kabuki (traditional Japanese theater). He is a very loud character, and often punctuates his sentences with a loud, dramatic 'YOYOI!'. He has a strange way of speaking, talks rather slowly and tends to repeat or draw out syllables and words in the manner of kabuki actors.
But still, he is powerful and brutal leader of the 'Tetsu Kirazu' gang while also showing himself to be a warrior that shows no mercy to anyone. He has also grown a big hatred of Shoji Fuzen, his partner Taro and their companies after they destroyed his family's famous theater, and he made himself a promise that he would . Hidekazu comes from a family of Kabuki actors and had their own famous theater. But when he was around 17-18 years old and doing one of his best performances in his life, a snobby man named Taro hated and disrespected Hidekazu and his family's show and with permission destroyed Hidekazu and his family's theater and also banished them from the richest parts of Japan.
After all of his beloved family died from starvation and hunger, Hidekazu swore to himself that he would survive to destroy everyone involved and make sure that he would kill Fuzen and Taro. As the years moved on, he became the leader of the mighty and dangerous Yakuza-like gang, 'Tetsu Kirazu' and made much money in successful robberies and assassination of other street gangs that was a possible threat to them. Hidekazu's weapon is called 'Hageshi Fukushu' (Translation: Furious Revenge). This weapon is a long and impressive looking dark pink and black metallic Khakkhara staff that can change to a Sniper Rifle with a silencer and also can activate a Buzz Saw Blade from the top of the staff.
It can also activate an burning aura on the top of the staff with some Fire Dust in it and can make powerful attacks with it, but also can shoot many other dust like Ice, Lightning and Wind Dust. As for Hidekazu's semblance, he can convert the tissues of his entire body into an powerful, black iron-like substance that can be even stronger and harder than titanium. Hidekazu can also infuse his powerful iron-like substance into his 'Hageshi Fukushu' that would make the weapon many times powerful than before. And thanks to the black iron-like substance, he can get hit by bazooka shots and mighty explosions without a scratch.

"Hey, everyone. So as you can see from the big opening we're really getting into what could be the main climax of the first of GrimmFall. Worlds collide, friendships tested, destinies arrive and greatest questions are answered." TOM remarked as the opening theme ended and the files closed. "The greatest question being can one live through it all? Do you believe the heroes in all those fantasy stories managed to win just because the author wanted them to win or was there something else guiding their hand? Does good always triumph over evil? And that by willpower, courage, friendship and anything else positive in life can help a mortal topple what we consider to be a god?"
SARA appeared next to TOM in holo-form. "I think we're about to find out."
"We sure are."

Far across the universe a single entity watched as a new signal appeared.
One matching a very familiar signal.
"Impossible. Is that…another Omnitrix?"
It couldn't be.
He had made only one.
Quickly he got to work and scanned the new signal, seeing it matched his original Omnitrix perfectly.
"It even connects to the Codon Stream." He muttered. "But how?"
It was all there.
Same material, same encrypted protocols and same features.
"Nothing on Earth should even come close to replicating it." He quickly scanned the person this new Omnitrix was attached to. "…Garfield Logan, his DNA is formerly human but has been altered to match the DNA of Earth animals."
That was an interesting surprise but there were still concerns that needed to be addressed.
"The protocols are still in place but due to the unique genetic makeup the Omnitrix has to first stabilize his DNA." He watched as more information came through. "It's already placed him stasis as it's not only stabilizing him but also…By the stars, it's modifying his DNA to accept all genetic samples that the Omnitrix can access!"
That would mean that one single human, albeit genetically modified would have the DNA of all life forms encoded in the Codon Stream!
"It seems though the Omnitrix's protocols will still limit his transformations to the usual number with the programmed time limit still in effect." That was a relief but he still needed to find out where this Omnitrix came from. "Albedo? No, his work is too sloppy for something like this. Someone else has managed to duplicate my Omnitrix and I must find out…Or they could do what Vilgax has been trying to do for years."

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-!"
Double D could do without Dipper and Mabel's screaming in his helmet's communicator as he dodged incoming purple energy bolts from Jasper. Fortunately Armatae seemed to agree with him as the screaming was suddenly muted.
"Thank you." The genius sighed in relief.
You are welcome. Now we must deal with the current threat.
"I'm open to suggestions."
I already offered a suggestion.
"I am not endangering Dipper and Mabel." Double D said again with more force to make his point. "Where are we?"
Currently we in middle of Nowhere Kansas.
"Nowhere." Double D muttered, his mind racing to remember what knew of the desert like area.
Nowhere was aptly named since there was almost literally nothing out there of significant importance. That meant there was also very few settlements for him to leave Dipper and Mabel since it was obvious their pursuer was after him and Armatae while the Pine twins were just potential collateral damage.
"Is there any form of shelter out here?" Double D asked, a purple bolts passing by his head.
There is a farmhouse west of our location.
Armatae brought up the image of a farmhouse for Double D to see. "I only hope I am doing the right thing."
And what is your 'right thing'?
"The only humane thing to do. Plot a course for the farm house and then go to the best speed that won't hurt Dipper and Mabel." Double D answered.
Armatae obliged his request, changing course in the direction of the farmhouse and fired the rockets to move at the best speed. Dipper and Mabel held on for dear life inside their Grunkle Stan's car as Jasper flew after them.
"And where do you think you're going?!" She called out, firing another purple energy blast.

It was another nice calm day.
Just another day in the middle of Nowhere.
There was not much to do other than some work on the farm, perhaps some work on the truck and then watching some TV, perhaps a comedy show or checking to see if there was a game on.
Yep, almost nothing ever happened her-
CRASH!
"What in tarnation?!"
"AH!" Courage yelped in fright, jumping off of Muriel's lap as the sound of something crashing came from outside.
Both Eustace and his wife came out the front door, spotting what appeared to an old car that had suddenly appeared in front of their house.
Just as two rockets flew over their house.
And out of the car stumbled two kids and who simply stared at the elderly couple who stared back in stunned silence.
"Um…" The girl held up two fingers as a peace sign. "We come in peace?"
Eustace sighed. "…I hate Tuesdays."

Eddy couldn't bear to be around anyone at the moment.
He just needed to be alone.
So with that in mind he once again snuck out of the Hall of Heroes, sneaking out into town to do some small time scamming to earn himself some money.
'How can everyone be calm after what we went through?' Eddy looked at his hand and watched as it stretched. 'After what I went through?'
He still had not come to terms with what was happening to him and he had absolutely no wish to tell his friends, let alone anyone else about it.
"I'll just do some scams, hide out somewhere and then come back when they can finally send me home. Then I'll hide under my bed for the next year." Eddy muttered to himself as he walked through a dark alley….
Unaware of the pair of cat-like eyes watching him.
"So that's the Snake, huh? A lot shorter than I thought." The person stepped out, revealing themselves to be a cat Mobian with cream/tan colored striped fur. She had large pink eyes, a mouth with pointed teeth, and razor sharp claws. Her tail was unusually long and prehensile and was actually holding a dagger. "No matter. No one escapes Me-Mow."

"Everyone, I offer congratulations to you all for your participation and the hard work you displayed today. You fought well, displaying courage, intelligence and you showed no matter what you would never give up. That is what we all will need in the coming days." Phil Ken Sebben said to the assembled fighters in the Sparring Chamber. "Now then, we've had the chance to gauge your skills but I believe we must now gauge your teamwork in the real world."
That confused many of the teams.
"Say what?" Keanu asked.
"Weren't our fights enough to convince you, Mr. Sebben?" Yara asked.
"Of your skills, there is no doubt that you are all exceptional but sparring matches only help so much. You are here because Van Kleiss is a threat to not just this world but to many other worlds. No doubt since those he has already brought here last saw him he has likely rebuilt his machine and begun collecting again. He will not just have potential new warriors, willingly working for him or not but he will also have allies from this world protecting him." Sebben stated calmly and thoughtfully. "Power and skill alone will not be enough against him. To make sure you are all ready for what lies ahead, I believe a mission or two is in order and it won't be just the teams and their charges that will be tested. The Justice Friends should have a role to play in as well. In the wake of the Golden Castle disaster and the Crom crises many are looking to the world's greatest heroes and some are expressing doubt that our heroes are capable of protecting us anymore."
"That stinks." Valhallen muttered.
"But true." Major Glory sighed. "Not to mention one of our own guests was already injured on our watch here in our own home base."
Agunimon shifted a bit but said nothing.
"That being said, I want everyone to rest and relax a bit for a day. Come and see me tomorrow and I will have a mission that will be best suited to test not just your skills but your ability to work with each other, both as long time teammates and newly made acquaintances." Sebben stated before looking to the civilians. "And I believe our friends have had their fill of excitement for the day. Transportation has been arranged to take you all to your homes. Though Mr. Pops has offered a free dinner for everyone at his own personal diner."
"After all the craziness we've had, I think a feast is in order." Pops stated with a big smile.
"Uh, Mr. Sebben?" Nazz waved a hand. "We are missing two friends: Eddy and Jimmy."
Sebben eye twitched but he remain composed. "Yes, about that…We have a couple of officers who wish to speak with everyone from Peach Creek."

Xylene had trouble with trust these days, especially towards the Gems considering all they do is think of how perfect they think they are but were no different than the Highbreed, another alien species claiming themselves to be the purest form of life. Even if they were the so-called rebels she heard about, then why they still on the planet? From her memory they would have been wiped out by the Grimm thousands of years ago but somehow survived. Then came the thought of Gems keeping organic species on their home planet.
That's just strange even to her, probably to be kept as their amusement or pets to show off their superiority over others. There have been rumors but never been certain until now. She is aware of the Gaia Union being an alliance of worlds whose ancestors were taken from Earth until they mutinied, but she was surprised how they began to seek out to try to avoid a war with the Gems despite the history they had with them in the ancient past. No doubt some would object to it when she heard of a former general tried to stage a coup against the council. She had to come to this star system to be sure the mission she was entrusted to was completed.
However, an ambush waited for her, unknown who they were but were skilled and had used technology that was similar to Vilgax, it was no doubt in her mind that he was the one behind this plot to capture the Omnitrix. To be certain he didn't get his hands on the prize, she used an escape pod and another to activate the ship's self-destruct. Bound in orbit until her pod was picked up by Gantu and was grateful for their help but still she needed to complete her mission.
The Uxurite stepped into the bridge to see the officers at work. "What's happening?"
"The Gem ship went into warp, ma'am. They left without reason." One of the officers reported.
"Probably to collect them Rubies." Xylene said and heard the reports from the captain. "But keep a look out for a Jasper Gem, this one is different from the others we've seen."
Taking her advice and worked hard to track the Gem down. Another alarm caught her by surprise. "What is that?"
"Some sort of anomaly, it's coming down on the planet."
"Something is very strange. I need to look at the images of these aliens the Captain picked up." She turned to a helms officer on her left. "Do you have any readings from the planet of any lifeforms not native to this planet?"
"Scanning now." The alien officer brought up images of several species she recognized.
Tetramand.
Pyromite.
Vulpimancer.
Galvanic Mechomorph.
Piscciss Volann.
Even A Galvan for a surprise.
She almost thought a Galvan would never set foot on a level 2 civilization, unless studying their technology when Earth recently made a first stellar colony before the Alliance and Union to welcome the races to the galactic community. This puzzled her for how many could slip pass Plumber security when-
Something caught her eye and recognized something each of them had.
"The Omnitrix!" She whispered in shock but it had to be it.
It wasn't a group of aliens. But one for each form. Now certain it must be Omnitrix she sent and found as it can only lock on to the DNA to gain access to its abilities. Turns to see Gantu enter the bridge to take his seat.
"Report to the Plumbers to look out for any other Gems, set up the jammers to least slow down any Gem ships in the local area. One of them is on the planet so the moment she leaves the planet's atmosphere or given clearance if she's in orbit, we'll have her."
"Captain, I believe I may have found something you want to see." Xylene says and gave him the tablet showing her information, allowing the large alien to read through them and looked at her in wonder as she nodded her head to confirm her theory. "I believe it has to be, they all share the same symbol and I can track it's source."
"You absolutely certain of this?" He needed to be certain.
"Most certain, but not to worry, it was programmed to latch on to the very being whose DNA chosen by the creator as a safety measure. I programmed the pod to reach the one person I trust to keep it safe." Xylene confirmed, having fought Vilgax himself along with his allies from getting their hands on the Omnitrix.
If she means the person who fought Vilgax before in the past, then he would certainly believe her. But if it weren't for their current situation with a strange signal coming from below the planet's surface that worried him and possibly the Alliance as well when the Gaia Union's officers found something on their scanners.
Taking some time to think it over until he came to a decision. "Hmm, very well. As this is your mission, I will allow you to track the device to ensure it's safe. If you are in danger, report to us immediately. Despite being inhabited it is home to a very dangerous lifeform."
Xylene nodded in approval of his decision. "Don't worry, I know what creatures on the planet the natives face, they call them the Grimm so I should be fine as long as I'm armed. But it be a pity you couldn't leave, your appearance would easily pass of as one of the races."
"I'd probably draw too much attention, can't risk it with limited knowledge of their customs, you're one of the top agents for this assignment. Best of luck to you." He replied, allowing her permission to complete the task given to her by the council.
As much as he would want to capture that Gem and any alien individuals such as bounty hunters and criminals, but unless given permission he can't set foot without exposing themselves to the natives within populated areas and how to survive against the dangerous creatures known as Grimm. Despite considering them a young upstart race, he had been impressed and intrigued by how they survived this long and also rare for a world to have more than one sentient species to sustain.
"You suppose she would meet the one who fought Vilgax years ago?" One of the officers shared a thought with the bridge crew.
Another replied. "Who knows, would be an honor to meet him since I heard the Lenopans and the Earth Plumbers would finally end their conflict, now there's something I thought never happen."
"While they may be out of the fight, but we are on duty to ensure there's no trouble when serving the United Stellar Alliance." Gantu spoke to cut the conversation. "Back to your posts, everyone. We can't afford to be distracted." While he was still in command of the mission he would think of how to respond to the Grand Councilwoman but there was one thing that he couldn't take his mind from just now. 'Pity I am on duty, but would be an honor to meet Magister Tennyson in person.'

"What do you mean Ed's mom is in an asylum and his sister is missing?!"
Ed was completely silent the two officers from Child Services told him and his friends what happened at Peach Creek.
"His sister is missing and the mother was in a depressed state. She was taken to be observed but so far there is no evidence to suggest that she was in any way responsible." The officer reported. "For now, is there anyone Mr. Hill can stay with?"
"Rolf shall take in the Ed-boy." Rolf offered, holding the Shephard's cane.
"And where's Jimmy?" Nazz asked.

"Are you sure about this?" Jimmy asked once they were far enough from the Hall of Heroes.
"Positive, kid." The bat like creature said. "Trust me. I can make you strong but the deal goes both ways. You got to help me get strong too."
"How do I do that?"
"Let's get far enough from all the goodies and I'll tell you."

"How could that kid just sneak away?" Valhallen was the first to ask.
The Justice Friends and the Huntsmen teams along with their charges were all gathered in the briefing room as Sebben delivered a bit more grave news.
"Through the same help he had when he attempted to murder Agunimon." Sebben stated, glancing to said Warrior of Fire who shifted a bit. "The train station, the airport and all other transport hubs have been alerted and will be on the lookout. The police will even be double checking each and every one of these hubs that has advanced computer security for signs of being hacked."
"I got the feeling that's not the only thing you wanted to speak with us about." Scotty remarked. "You want to tell us what you got planned to test us before we go after the guys who have been doing all the people snatching."
Sebben nodded. "Straight to the point as always, Scotty."
"Man, why we need more tests anyways? We got what it takes." Keanu complained.
"It's not a matter of skill, Keanu. It's matter of trying to make sure everyone makes it out of this alive. First by helping you find allies you will need." Sebben said just as the door opened. "And these two might be able to help."
Stepping in was a young red haired woman and a turtle Mobian with a purple bandana whom Omnimon recognized. "Shannon? Donatello?"
"Omni, glad to see you are still alive." Shannon smiled at first but then scowled. "You have some nerve leaving the two of us behind to miss everything. Alien worlds and demon gods and you never thought to call us?"
Omnimon shifted in his seat. "Honestly, I forgot. I was planning to find you both once I was completely healed."
"Hmph." Shannon didn't sound convinced as she and Donny sat down.
"Miss Shannon and Donatello are here at my request to help gather allies for the mission against Van Kleiss." Sebben continued. "The mission I have in mind for you all will help you find allies but also pit you against some of the worst elements of the criminal underworld."
"How does this prepare for us against this Van Kleiss?" Erika asked.
"It's a rescue mission to help stop the latest shipment in Faunus and Mobian trafficking by the Red Caps." Sebben answered with a narrowed eye.
Almost all Huntsmen were silent while their charges and allies were left confused.
"Who are the Red Caps?" Connor was the first to speak.
"A gang stationed here in GrimmFall with notable extensions in other cities and connections to other gangs across the world. The Red Caps are the top gang in a criminal empire known as the Gobb Syndicate." Extor explained with his voice turning cold as steel.
"Dude, they're so vicious they've actually picked fights with the Satyra over territory for years." Keanu cut in.
"Except they're worse than the Satyra." Rino muttered.
"How are they worse than a terrorist organization?" Yara asked, having never heard of these Red Caps.
"The Saytra are violent extremists, pushing for equality and rights for Faunus and Mobians. The Red Caps are a crime syndicate that only want money and power." Major Glory stated darkly.
"I've heard of them through Sam's briefings with WOOHP. They traffic illegal weapons, Dust, counterfeit money and even potential slaves." Ross narrowed his eyes. "And they like going after poor families."
"So we're going after them?" Scotty asked with an eager grin.
"You're not just going after them. You're going to cripple them." Sebben said as pictures of various crime scenes appeared on the main screen behind him. "One of my sources has told me that tomorrow night they are going to have a huge shipment of weapons, Dust, Humans, Faunus and Mobians. This shipment will be very important to them so it will be heavily guarded. I plan to have Chief Fizz ready to move but we people who specialize in infiltration and espionage."
"So you think getting us ready for Van Kleiss is by severally crippling a dangerous criminal organization known illegal for trafficking weapons, drugs and even people." North mused.
"Admittedly it is unorthodox but considering the ramifications-"
"I'm in!" Scotty grinned.
"Me too!" Keanu laughed. "Hate those guys."
"Me too!" Yara pumped a fist into the air.
"I believe aside from wanting to make sure we are properly prepared the moral answer to the question of accepting this mission is yes." Extor adjusted his goggles.
"This mission is not just being offered to Huntsmen." Sebben looked to the heroes and the Digimon. "This offer extends to you. As I said, road to Van Kleiss is going to be paved with obstacles that will be as ruthless as the Red Caps even they are not as dangerous as some other enemies you have already faced."
Omnimon narrowed his eyes as he stood up. "As a Royal Knight I cannot say no to this mission." He made a mental note to speak with Sebben after the meeting. 'It's likely his Future Vision showed him a great deal of trouble for us for when we go after Van Kleiss. Perhaps Gallantmon will be among those obstacles.'
"Same goes for us." Agunimon nodded.
"Count me in." Kazemon agreed.
"Not even a question." Lowemon stated.
"As much as I want to get home I can't really back out of something like this." Artemis said, herself already having a low opinion of these Red Caps.
While her father and sister worked for very dangerous and ruthless people even they looked down on people like these criminals.
"Then I am in as well." Connor spoke next.
"And you, Mr. Doyle Blackwell?"
Doyle shrugged. "Well, as much as I don't like getting up and messing with other people's buisness…" Erika rolled her eyes as he spoke. "Can't say I'd want to pass on the opportunity to humiliate those guys. I've tangled with Red Caps before and I got to say I really would not miss them."
"Agreed." Raven nodded as well.
"Then it is settled." Sebben nodded. "I'll be sure to inform my operative to expect a large number of reinforcements."
"Who is the operative?" Doyle asked curiously.
"I am sure you know her. She swindled you and Van Rook of those Cryptids Argost hired you to deliver to him in Guatemala." Sebben answered with a small smile.
"Her?!" Doyle exclaimed as he stood up. "She managed to infiltrate the Red Caps?!"
"Who is she?" Erika asked, trying to sound curious and not jealous or suspicious.
"The world's former top thief now turned spy…Carmen Sandiego."

"Excuse me, I'd like to speak with Mayor Sebben. I have an appointment."
Callie Briggs looked at the name and appointment card. "Miss Bagge, you are early."
"I know but I think my parents might in trouble." Standing before Miss Briggs was a young red haired woman. "And please, call me Alexis."
"Very well. I am sure Scotty Blake and Miss Raven will want to know if your parents are in trouble." Briggs nodded.
"Knowing them, especially my father it's a guarantee." Alexis Bagge said with a sigh but smiled all the same.

"Just got home and already back on the road. Am I seriously crazy in wanting to rethink this whole deal now?"
Juniper Lee suddenly found herself actually wishing for the good old days when the trouble she dealt with was confined to Orchid Bay City.
And her along with it.
"And now I am forced to go back to Gravity Falls to finish what I was supposed to do before the whole Crom mess."
After spending some back in her home city, catching up with her friends, taking care of a few magical issues here and there June was being ordered back to finish her first assignment: stopping Bill Cipher.
"If someone else was able to stop Crom why can't the same be said for Bill or any of the other big threats out there? Why do I have to handle it all?" June sighed, leaning against a tree and looking up at the sky. "At the risk of sounding like a spoiled brat…It's not fair."
"Sure isn't but magic rarely is."
June jumped away from the tree and spun around, watching as a young woman with ridiculously long hair stepped out. "Who are you?!"
June looked down at her bracelet and saw it was flashing dangerously.
"Well, according to that little thing, I'm a big problem." The woman said with a dangerous smile. "Or have your magical elders never told you about a Lord, or in my case, a Lady of Chaos."
"Chaos, huh?" June settled into a fighting stance. "Well, I think that's all I need to know."
"Sounds like it." The woman made a gesture of her long hair as it curled up and around her like a serpent. "So, is this how it's supposed to go?"
"Pretty much." June said before leaping to attack.

"Still no word."
It was starting to look like she would never be found.
For nearly a month Buttercup had been missing and there had hadn't even been a rumor of where she might be. She was last seen in the company of children that had all decided to run away from home for one reason or another and left to a place called Pleasure Island. Of course the existence of Pleasure Island had been disputed many times but given all the strange things that regularly happens in the world it was not something to completely dismiss. All the children had been questioned before their parents had taken them home, likely to be heavily grounded for running away in the first place.
Buttercup's friend, Mitch Mitchelson had taken to court and forced into a year's worth of community service for being the ringleader in this gathering.
He had no idea where Buttercup was either.
Still he had no intention of giving up hope on finding her. Buttercup was strong and she had superpowers.
She could handle herself…
He hoped.
"Professor! The exchange student is here!"
Straightening himself as he put down the picture Professor Utonium quickly wiped away any form of possible distress that might have showed on his face as he walked into the living room to greet their new guest.
Hopefully things would get better.

Getting up early in the morning was starting to become a second nature to Danielle but she didn't mind it very much.
Early to bed, early to rise seemed to come naturally to her.
Taking a chance to stretch out her limbs, Danielle noticed Kuki and Mushi were still asleep and suddenly remembered they were still in the temple in Ishimura. They would be back home at the end of the week, taking the chance to relax after the Crom Crises which they had all ended up in the middle of through no fault of their own.
Still, that wasn't the main issue at the moment.
The main issue was slipping out of her sleeping clothes and into the shrine maiden outfit she had been forced to wear after losing that silly bet to Kuki. With a little help she had learned to put it on well enough but Sayoko was often close by and helped Danielle a bit, enough for the ghost girl to learn how to do it properly.
Sighing once she was done, she looked in the mirror and tied her hair in its usual pony tail fashion with the red ribbon Kuki insisted on using as part of the outfit. "Just a few more days to go."
Until then she would manage to get through another day of chores with a bit practice in archery or perhaps with a wooden sword.
As long as she was staying she figured she could get a bit of practice in.
Little did she know today would be a little different.
She found out the hard way while carrying a large folded bed sheet and fell down.
"OOF!"
"Why don't you watch where your-Danielle?"
Danielle looked up from the mess, seeing a girl she instantly remembered. "Kimiko?"
"Wow. So the rumors on the SkyWeb were true. So, why are you dressed like a miko?" Kimiko smiled and held in the urge to squeal at how cute Danielle looked as the ghost girl sighed.
"Long story short, I lost a bet."

"There it is. The Temple of Ishimura and the resting place for the helmet of SAM-R-I."
A group of men dressed in what appeared to be samurai armor and masks were hidden in the woods, staring at the temple on the other side of the river.
The only one of them to really stand out was the man who was likely their leader.
He was standing around 7'4 tall, with a huge and massive muscular build. He wore a black and dark pink sleeveless samurai-like yukata that had ancient Japanese words on the front sides and was open on the torso area to reveal his big muscular abs, bandage wrapped around his lower arms area, dark pink armor plates made of titanium on the higher arms area and on the neck and brown Geta shoes on his feet. He also had huge mane of dark pinkish hair, very pale skin tone while having a red and black Kabuki makeup on his face with black lips along with a small pointy black goatee beard.
"Time for the mantle of SAM-R-I to be passed to someone is worthy."

"So you lost a bet with Kuki about being surprised when you got some money over a rock and she has you doing chores around the temple and picked out that outfit for you?" Kimiko recalled Danielle's entire explanation as they sat around a table in a nearby living room.
"Pretty much." Danielle nodded. "And I have to do the chores without my powers."
"How much was one rock worth?" Kimiko asked before Danielle leaned into her ear and whispered the exact amount. "...That much?!"
"I know. I asked the same thing and when I saw the check..." Danielle rubbed the back of her head. "I pretty much fainted. I went from near monk to having enough to buy my own house. Is anyone ever that lucky?"
"Considering you have super powers to go with that rock I think that the answer would be yes." Kimiko snickered.
"Right." Danielle rolled her eyes. "So what brings you here?"
"Just the rumors of the ghost girl playing shrine maiden. Actually I was thinking of donating you some clothes in exchange for a little…modelling."
"I am not much of a model, Kimiko." Danielle shook her head. "This was just one a time thing brought about by a bet."
"Oh come on. You get some free clothes and my dad has the ghost girl hero who took down Billiam as a model for our corporation. It's just a few magazines and trust me there are a lot of benefits. You could even try a few dresses we got shipped in from China." Kimiko reasoned.
Just as Danielle was about to speak there a smashing sound and both shot up, watching as the walls around the temple were smashed down and through the holes came men in samurai themed armor.
"YOIYOI!" A man stepped through the largest hole, brandishing a deadly looking staff. "We, the Tetsu Kirazu have come for the helmet of SAM-R-I!"
Kimiko's eyes widened as she looked upon the man. "Oh crap. Hidekazu Kobayashi."
The man known as Hidekazu paused as he looked in Kimiko's direction and his eyes narrowed before he let out a furious cry of anger. "YOU! I KNOW YOU! THE DAUGHTER OF TOHOMIKO! HOW DARE SOMEONE LIKE YOU STAND ON SACRED GROUND?!"
Danielle glanced Kimiko. "Friend of yours?"
"More like an old friend of my dad and they didn't part on good terms."
"YOIYOIYOIYOIYOI!"
