Opening File: King Ozric

King Ozric was the king of the super continent known as Pangea in the ancient time known as the Connected Era that predated the Forgotten Age. Born as the heir to the throne Ozric was the most powerful wielder of light magic, rivaling his mentor Yen Sid. He grew up a kind prince and later a just king, loved by the people and the kingdom prospered under his rule. However even though Pangea prospered there were other kingdoms that did not and conflict was inevitable.

Ozric saw no choice other than to fight back, defending his kingdom and people. He assembled his strongest knights and magicians and with their help he defeated many threats ranging from beasts, raiders and worst of all: Grimm. Ozric proved himself to be a strong and courageous warrior, defeating many threats that others could not. Everywhere he went he sought not only stop dangerous threats but to also offer the hand of friendship to any town, village or smaller kingdom that was discovered.

However one threat would test Ozric's skill, courage and even his entire kingdom: the Black Mother.

Those who wielded dark magic were frowned upon but the Black Mother was far worse. Leading a cult consisting completely of women they worshiped a demon that was said to have created the Pool of Darkness from which the Grimm had come from and sought to create a new race through the unholy fusion of man and Grimm. Her followers kidnapped children from the surrounding kingdoms, preforming horrible tests on them. The experiments would eventually spiral out of control and the people she had changed into monsters were unleashed upon the world.

Villages, towns and even kingdoms were burned to the ground by these lost souls. The only beings they would not harm were Grimm who in turn did not harm them. The dark experiments had warped their minds as much as their bodies. Finally having enough Ozric fully declared war on the mad woman and her cult, battling their twisted abominations while attempting to seal the Pool of Darkness.

It was in this time the Black Mother unleashed her final gambit. She spread forth a plague created by harnessing the primal darkness of the Pool, believing it would not kill her enemies but be the first step in her final experiment. It was around this time the Ice Elemental had sensed the coming of a comet but this was no ordinary comet.

This comet was a primordial entity itself, an agent of change that brought forth either creation or destruction.

And in the eyes of the Elemental it would only bring death and destruction. Believing only he could stop the comet he gathered the other Elementals without informing King Ozric and informed them of his plan to create a crown powerful enough to alter reality with a single wish. When the other Elementals refused, seeing a fatal flew in his plan the Ice Elemental fled, freezing them to prevent them from stopping him or informing Ozric of his intentions. The Ice Elemental forged his crown, not knowing the Black Mother knew of his plans and when it was done, she stole the crown from him.

The Black Mother would return to the home of her cult which was located near the Pool of Darkness and brought with her a mother and child that had contracted the plague and both were dying. The evil woman then offered the dying mother a chance to save her child with the crown. In order for her child to survive she must put on the crown and wish with all her heart for him to live, to be able to survive anything no matter what.

Then she took the child from her arms and threw him into the pool.

Beside herself with grief and hysteria the mother put the crown on and wished with every fiber of her being for her dying child to live.

To live through the plague.

To live through the Pool.

To live through anything…

It was in that wish that the child was granted infinite life, ensuring that not even the Pool of Darkness could destroy. Instead the quintessential force bonded with him, altering his body and infusing him with the very essence of darkness found in each Grimm. He was brought out of the pool by a newly formed Grimm and surrounded by the hoard.

His skin had turned deathly pale white.

His eyes now red with a black sclera.

He did not cry.

He did not try to crawl away.

He lied there, staring back at the Grimm in what seemed to be…curiosity.

The result of the wish by the mother who died from the plague had created a child that had only survived the Pool of Darkness but had not seemingly warped his mind like the other subjects. When King Ozric assaulted the cult's base with the Ice Elemental to retrieve the crown the child was discovered and taken back to his kingdom. They learned what the Black Mother had done to him and realized she had attempted to create a new kind of Grimm-Human hybrid unlike nothing ever encountered. As he grew his cells would constantly regenerate and renew themselves, preventing him from aging at a certain point.

Even when Yen Sid tried to seal his Grimm nature the corrupted essence had given him speed, strength and durability far beyond that of an ordinary person, even one enhanced by magic. Ozric knew the child could not be killed, even when the Ice Elemental and few of his advisors called for it. All he could do was trust the child with his mentor and hope for the best…

"We all make mistakes. We all take risks. We try, we fail. Sometimes our mistakes have long last consequences for ourselves and for others." TOM remarked, watching the file close. "The question do we let those mistakes define us for who we are. Can we learn to be better from them or do we let them cripple us from trying do what's right and let fear guide us for the rest of our days? Mistakes happen but they don't have to be with you forever. If you can't find the strength within you to try and put it behind you then look for it in others."

"Pastmaster."

The name he spoke referred to a short feline Mobian dressed in a dark blue hooded cloak. Curiously or rather terrifyingly his body had no fur or even skin, exposing an orange colored skeletal body. He had one eye with the left eye being an empty socket and grey hair peeking out from under his hood.

"Supreme One."

The latter was that of a woman dressed in a green and black form fitting body suit with an asymmetrical harlequin dazzle patter with a matching green cape that was black on the interior. Her hair traveled down to her waist and had white highlights.

"I have brought you both to me because of your gifts. Pastmaster, the undead necromancer of the dark ages," The entity addressed the Pastmaster first before moving on to the woman. "And the Supreme One, the rule of a future that no longer exists."

The woman bristled slightly but remained silent as she crossed her arms.

"My children of time. Welcome home." The entity stated.

"Spare me the drama." The Supreme One interrupted. "Why'd you bring me here?"

"I saw a soul lose everything in her time, unable to be even reverted back to what she was before so she could have some semblance of a life and I took pity on you." The entity answered. "Do you wish to make it right?"

"And what do you think is right?" The Pastmaster asked.

"I know what is right because I know all. You have both traveled through time but you have not understood, not channeled it, not mastered it." The entity answered. "You merely adopted time…I was born from it, molded by it. I know absolutely everything about what can be, what might and what will be. And I know of your times and what you seek…I know how you can gain what you want most in the world."

Pastmaster was suddenly shown the image of a woman, a feline Mobian dressed in a pink gown staring at him with a loving smile. "…My Queen."

"You seek her heart, her love. Through me I can create a future for you…with her." The entity said as the woman vanished before looking to the Supreme One. "As for you…"

"Let me stop you there. I didn't need anyone's help taking over the world before so I don't need your help now." The Supreme One held up a hand. "I know this sale scam you got going on and it won't work on me."

"Not even get back what you lost? The future where you ruled with an iron and yet lazy fist." The entity retorted. "Or what you really wanted?"

"Which is?" The Supreme One rolled her eyes.

"Defeating your rival." That caused the Supreme One to pause. "No matter what you do, what you try or how strong you become you can never defeat her."

"Watch it." The Supreme One's fists flared with green fire. "I don't care what you are; no one talks to me like that."

"Then I am pleased to be the only one." The entity rebuked without pause or concern for her threat. "Regardless I brought you here because you have a choice."

"Which is?"

"Assist me and gain back everything or refuse and return to the void…"

"HOW COULD YOU ALLOW HER TO BECOME MAJOR GLORY'S SIDEKICK?!"

It was unbelievable.

Inconceivable.

Inexcusable.

"Major Glory did not make her his sidekick. He made her his student or apprentice or even partner. She was picked out a dozen kids that auditioned at the mall. She impressed him with her bravery when real villains like Comrade Red happened to show up." Fergle O'Reilly said, frowning at his nephew's attitude. "She had as much of a chance as the other kids and just happened to be the one who got picked."

"No way!" Dexter shook his head. "Out of everyone there he picks her?! I should have been picked!"

Old Man Dexter stayed in the background, simply watching his grandson's reaction.

"You were in Gravity Falls, too far away and for some reason we couldn't reach you. Besides, why shouldn't Dee-Dee have been allowed to participate?" Fergle retorted. "Because you wouldn't like it if she was picked, nephew?"

"Yes! Major Glory is my hero! I wanted to be his student or apprentice or even partner! Just what does she have that I don't?" Dexter questioned, his mind unable to understand how his sister of all people could be picked.

"She was brave, kind, stood up against those villains and kicking…well you know, didn't hurt her chances much either." Fergle shrugged. "You should be proud, Dexter my boy. Your sister has been given a chance that many would have killed to have. Fortunately it didn't come down to that."

"But…I wanted to be the one." Dexter looked down at the floor. "Why her?"

"Why not her?" Fergle asked. "She's got the talent."

"Talent?" Dexter looked back up with a mad face. "She just waltz around and dances! How is that talent? She comes into my lab without my permission and breaks my things all the time no matter how how many times I tell her to get out? How come she always gets what she wants and always takes my dreams away?"

"Dexter, you know your sister loves you." Dexter Sr. finally spoke.

"Well she sure has a rotten way of showing it! She breaks my inventions, plays with my equipment and you never stop her!" Dexter complained, pointing at both his uncle and grandfather. "You even let her blow up my Robo-Dexo 2000!"

"Dexter, we told her not to break or tamper with anything important or that could hurt someone. Yes, accidents can happen but she only comes into your lab because you're always in there. You never come outside, you never socialize with anyone, even the workers. That's not healthy to a boy your age." Dexter Sr. pointed out. "And as for your Robo-Dexo, may I remind that you built that without permission and halted production for everything else in DexLabs for a couple months when you hacked into the computer and diverted resources while making sure no one figured it out until you were caught in the middle of applying the paint."

Dexter stiffened at that.

"And as for Dee-Dee taking it she needed to help save a whole other world." Dexter Sr. stated.

"Well, I don't need to go outside and play and I don't need to socialize with anyone. I'm Dexter, boy genius and I only need to focus on science. And she saved a world that does not exist! It's all imaginary so it's not real! No one cares about a world that pops up in someone's imagination because it does not EXIST!" Dexter retorted. "I could have invented a super powered outfit that would have blown everyone's minds, even Major Glory's if I had been given the chance. I have to show him what I can do so he can see he made a mistake."

Dexter Sr. shook his head. "And that's why Dee-Dee was picked and would have been picked even if you had been there."

"What?" Dexter couldn't believe what his grandfather was saying.

"Being a hero, especially the kind of hero in the eyes of someone like Major Glory is more than just having powers or high tech gadgets. You have to care about everyone, from the people you save to even the criminals you apprehend. A hero is compassionate and shows an unbreakable spirit, even in times of great hardship. These are the qualities that the Justice Friends look for in each other, in other Hunters and even in new recruits." Dexter Sr. lectured. "Dee-Dee showed these traits during the attack on the mall. If you had been there and acted like this, Major Glory would have still picked her."

Dexter was trembling now, unable to understand why his grandfather would say things like that. Tears were starting to come down his eyes and he took off to his room.

"Dexter!" His grandfather called out but Dexter slammed the door.

Fergle sighed, rubbing his head. "That boy is wound too tight."

Dexter was a genius but sadly he was still a boy and thus had the same qualities as other boys his age but his constant focus on science made his social life practically non-existent. He constantly hid away in the libraries, he constantly asked to be excused from gym class and even liked to stay late at school with his experiments causing a mess that forced the janitors to work late, missing dinner and arriving home in the middle of the night.

Not to mention that one time, during dodgeball he finally had enough and brought his Dex-Transformer with him and used to brutally beat all the kids, including a few bullies who had been picking on him. DexLabs had almost been sued by the parents of said bullies because Dexter had been so brutal they had ended up in the hospital. It was hard to try and teach the boy wisdom, not when all he had was a magical uncle, a scientist grandfather and a hyperactive sister he virtually had nothing in common with. If his parents were alive it was possible Dexter could have learned some form a wisdom and humility but unfortunately they were not here and Dexter Sr.'s job as head of DexLabs made things difficult while Dexter's belief in magic being a fake made it hard for him to bond with his uncle.

"I wonder if things would have been easier if he had his parents around, including his mother." Dexter Sr. remarked sadly. "At least then he could have more than one role model to look up. I'm the next hero after Major Glory and I just told him his own personal hero wouldn't have picked him."

"At least he listens to you." Fergle sighed as he grabbed a cup of coffee. "He told me magic is fake and me along with it. He barely listens to me at all."

"And he might not listen to me anymore." Dexter Sr. sighed.

"Hahahahahahaah!"

In the garage at the GrimmFall junkyard a TV was on, showing a cartoon called 'Fraidy Cat' with the main character sharing the show's name being chased around a haunted house, opening a closet door, only to find a ghost inside. Fraidy shrieked in his trademark style and the person watching the TV laughed even louder.

The person in question was a feline Mobian named Chance, sitting on the couch and loading up on sardine sandwiches and milk.

His best friend Jake entered with a newspaper, pushing it in Chance's face. "Have you seen the paper?"

"Hey! I'm trying to watch Fraidy Cat, it's an eighty hour marathon!" Chance complained.

Jake glanced at the TV and then turned back to Chance. "It's about the fire we put out. Paper says it was caused by a pair of robots called, 'The Metallikats'."

Chance pulled a fish skeleton out of his mouth. "Fine. Let Fizz handle it. He's the hot shot chief of police." He pushed Jake and the paper aside. "Now if you don't mind, I'm trying to watch Fraidy Cat."

On the screen Fraidy Cat opens another door to escape, only to see there was a beautiful girl inside. Fraidy Cat shrieked again and slammed the door. There was a half-beat then Fraidy looked at the camera as if to say 'Why the heck did I do that?!'

As Chance guffawed Jake's moved into his line of sight again, obscuring the TV. "Says here the Mayor might be in danger."

"Look, watch what happens when Fraidy opens the closet again." Chance pointed out.

Jake turned around, watching Fraidy open the same door and inside was the beautiful girl again. But this time she handed Fraidy a bomb and he shrieked causing Chance to almost fall over laughing.

Jake slid back into view, blocking the TV again. "Callie could be in danger too."

Chance abruptly stopped laughing, giving Jake a serious look.

WHOOSH!

Suddenly food flew everywhere as Chance shot past Jake like a comet, covering him in sardine sandwiches.

"Hey! C'mon, you slouch! We've got work to do!" Chance hollered.

"Choo choo! Make way for the Metallikat Express!"

A dark car barreled down the middle of a busy street, sideswiping cars and rolling over others. Pedestrians jumped out of the way while innocent drivers abandoned their cars just before impact. The driver was laughing maniacally, highly entertained by all this destruction. He punched a horn and yanked on an imaginary cord, pretending he was pulling on a train whistle. Both occupants in the cars had long since removed their clothes, showing their entirely metal bodies.

The female passenger, Molly looked like she wanted to brain him. "Mac, you are the absolute worse driver in history!"

"I don't have to drive well in this little runabout. Everyone else has to jump out of the way!" Her husband retorted while laughing.

The Metallikat Express kept crunching toward City Hall, as the Turbokat appeared from behind, swooping low toward the vehicle. At the proper moment, the jet fired a shark at the hovercraft and bit into the top of the hovercraft, near the driver's side. The missile had a steel cable attached to it, which extends up to the Turbokat .

In the cockpit, both T-Bone and Razor were smiling, giving a high five to each other. "Got 'em!"

Inside the Metallikat Express Mac snarled, looking up at the metal teeth of the Shark Missile sticking through the car's rooftop. "Hey! What's goin' on?!"

Molly reached for the rear-view mirror, seeing the Turbokat reflected there, keeping pace with the hovercraft. "It's the SWAT Kats!"

"Those pests! I'll teach 'em a lesson!" Mac grunted.

"Careful, Mac! They're trouble!" Molly pointed out.

"They don't know what trouble is!" Mac reached out the window, ripping the shark missile off the top of the car, never slowing the vehicle as he did.

Mac ducked back inside the vehicle. He scanned the array of weapons buttons on the dashboard while Molly looked on anxiously. "Let's see. Laser ... depth charges ... missiles ... eight-track player ..."He shook his head in disbelief. "Eight-track player?"

"Will you pick one already!?" Molly shouted.

Mac flashed a devilish smile. "This one!"

He punched a button on the dashboard and the words 'RELENTLESS MISSILE', lit up. A rocket launched from the back of the vehicle, heading directly for the Turbokat. T-Bone and Razor, spotted the missile tearing straight for them .

"Guess we ticked him off." T-Bone said, yanking back on the stick and the jet went into a steep vertical climb. "Hang onto your stomach! We're climbin' !"

His face is turning a sickly green, Razor grumbled. "Just ... glad ... I. .. skipped ... lunch ... !"

The jet climbed up the sky straight up at ferocious speed with the missile hanging right on their tail and gaining.

"You can forget about supper, too, if we can't shake this missile!"

"Ahh! It's here it's here it's here!" Mabel cheered, running down the halls, followed by a tired Dipper who sighed. "Okay, so I was just opening random doors - because I'm a creep - when I found something amazing!"

Dipper was rubbing his eyes. "If it was worth waking up at seven AM for, that will be amazing."

"Feast your eyes!" Mabel declared, opening door to reveal closet filled with various types of fireworks in a box labeled 'DO NOT TOUCH!'.

Dipper was honestly surprised. "Whoa!"

Mabel put a hand on Dipper's shoulder. "Bro. Bro. We're both thinking it."

"Crazy rooftop fireworks party!" The twins cheered.

"Not so fast, kids!" Stan said, marching up to them. "There is no way on earth you're setting off those dangerous, illegal fireworks..." He smiled and bent down to put his arms around their shoulders. "...without me."

"And us?" Frida and Zoe appeared from out behind their grandfather.

"Or you, kids." Stan quickly said, retaining his smile. "A good chance for all you kids to get along. Nothing screams fun bonding like illegally purchased fireworks."

"You already said what they are." Dipper pointed out.

"I know so if we're caught if you breathe a word to the cops I'll be sure to inform them that you knew we were in possession of illegally purchased goods." Stan explained.

"Your word against ours. Who would suspect kids of having illegal fireworks? Not like we were with you when you got them." Dipper pointed out.

"Then what's this say?" Stan pulled out a tape recorder and played it back.

"…We were with you when you got them." Dipper's voice spoke.

"Ha!" Frida and Zoe laughed, pointing at the flushing Dipper.

"You fell for the oldest trick in the book!" Frida laughed, wiping imaginary tears from her face.

"That's taken out of context!" Dipper protested.

"It's called a hustle, boy. Look it up." Zoe said, actually a little proud of her grandfather pulling a fast one like that.

On the roof of the Mystery Shack Dipper was grabbing an icy-pop from the cooler and passed another to Frida. Mabel was standing excitedly next to Stan, who was sitting on the lounge chair with a lit sparkler and Roman candle.

"Here you go, sweetie." He lit Mabel's skyrocket with a sparkler. "Set something on fire for your Grunkle Stan."

Mabel aimed the skyrocket and screamed in exhilaration. "I AM THE GOD OF DESTRUCTION!"

The rocket immediately shot off upon her declaration. Meanwhile Sheriff Blubs and Deputy Durland approached the Mystery Shack as the fireworks went off.

"Hold on a minute. Do you have a permit for those?" Blubs called up to the Pines family.

"Uh..." Dipper trailed off.

"Uh, do you have a permit for being totally lame?" Stan asked and both his granddaughters the twins laughed.

"Heyoooo!" Mabel called out.

Blubs chuckled. "Well, I can't argue with that." With that he and Durland turned and started walking away while waving. "Carry on."

Stan laughed. "But seriously though we should probably clean this mess up."

As it turned out there were many small fires around and on the Mystery Shack. The rope holding up the flags snapped.

"With water balloons?" Mabel asked.

"I don't see why not." Stan answered.

"As long as those police don't connect us to the fire at the prison we're good." Zoe remarked.

"Fire at the prison?" Dipper asked.

"Where do you think Mabel was aiming? She told me about this Gideon kid so…" Zoe grinned.

Xxx

Gideon was grumbly as he given lunch in his cell. A sub lower meal compared to what he used to dine on but he had little to complain about.

"Lousy Pines kids…When I get out of here they will rue the day they messed with Gideon!" The boy declared loudly.

Just was he about to eat he heard a sound outside his barred window. "Uh…That sounds like something streaking through the air…Like some kind of rocket." Gideon crawled up to his window and looked through the bars. "Maybe someone's coming to rescue me!"

He looked up in time to see a skyrocket flying right at him.

"…Oh oh."

BOOM!

Xxx

Stan was sitting outside on the couch drinking a Pitt Cola, and Dipper was running away from Mabel, who was throwing water balloons at him.

Dipper laughed as he ran, throwing water balloon which went about a foot before falling onto the ground. "Seriously?"

Mabel hit him with a water balloon, knocking him back and ran by, screaming in a tribal-like fashion.

"You like water?" Mabel stopped running and spotted Zoe with a high tech looking gun aimed at her. "Well then try this!"

The gun fired a high burst blast of water that knocked Mabel off her feet and she gasped, acting she had been shot. "Oh no! They got me! Avenge me Dipper!"

"Hang on!" Dipper tried throwing a water balloon at Zoe but Frida

"Ah. This is what Saturdays are for. Doing dumb things forever." Stan said, enjoying this relaxing day.

Dipper, Mabel, Zoe and Frida jumped onto the pile of water balloons. "DUMB THINGS FOREVER!"

They and on the water balloons which all pop into a big burst of water that even slashed Stan.

"Whoa, there!" He called out but laughed.

Mabel held up an icy pop. "To Grunkle Stan! Not just a great uncle..."

"Not just a great grandpa…" Frida held up her own drink.

"Even if we've only met a few days ago." Zoe threw in, holding up her own drink.

"The greatest grandpa and uncle!" Dipper finished as he, Frida, Zoe and Mabel all threw water balloons at Stan.

Stan laughed even as he was dowsed in water." Alright, alright. I tell you it's unnatural for siblings to get along as well as you do. "

Mabel waved her hand dismissively. "Ha-ha! Don't worry. We've still got plenty of summer left." She made her point by attacking Dipper in a hug. "To drive each other crazy!"

Dipper pushed Mabel away with a water balloon, which fell on her face.

Stan laughed nervously and frowned. "Yeah, plenty of summer left." He muttered rubbing the back of his head nervously as his nephew, niece and granddaughters approached him. "Kids, there's something I, uh, something I should tell you. It's um," He scratched his chin as he tried to come up with the best way to explain. "Well it's complicated. I... I'm gonna go refresh my soda."

He quickly walked off, leaving the kids to stare. Only Dipper and Mabel seemed confused while Zoe and Frida shared a glance.

Xxx

"Enjoy it while you can, Stan. They'll find out sooner or later. Today's the day." Stan muttered to himself, just aimlessly walking through the forest.

A glowing red dot appeared on Stan's fez. "What is that, a ladybug?"

Stan slapped it but more red dots targeted him. "What the-? Oh no!"

A masked agent pinned Stan down and another agent approached, speaking into a walkie-talkie. "Target secure! Take the house!"

Several helicopters flew above the Shack with a confused Dipper and Mabel and apprehensive Frida and Zoe, surrounded by a handful of agents.

"What the-?" Mabel barely had time to process what was going on.

Dipper gasped, wondering if they were after him while Zoe and Frida remained calm.

"Kids are secure. Roof team! Go!"

Several agents rappelled out of a helicopter, crashing into the attic of the Mystery Shack and cockrf their weapons.

"Clear!"

Another couple of agents rushed through the gift shop, wielding a bat. Another crashed through a window, using a rope.

"Clear!"

Yet another agent broke through Dipper and Mabel's window. Waddles was standing in confusion and squealed when the agent tackled him.

"Pig secure! We have secured a pig!"

The agents wrapped yellow police caution-tape around the Shack.

Several police cars parked outside as an agent lead a struggling Stan in handcuffs to the government vehicle. "Ugh! Hey, hands off, you stooge!"

The agent planted Stan's face on the trunk of the police car.

"Aah! I don't understand! What did I do that warrants this much arresting?" Stan grunted.

Dipper, Mabel, Frida and Zoe and two agents walked up to the vehicle.

"What's going on?" Dipper demanded, not at all happy with how the agents were treating his uncle or busting into his home.

One agent held up digital tablet. "This is security footage of a government waste facility." He panned in on screen where footage of a person in a radiation suit stealing barrels was shown. "At o'four hundred hours last night someone robbed three hundred gallons of dangerous waste."

"What? You think that's me?" Stan asked.

"Don't play dumb with us, Pines."

"But I actually am dumb!" Stan said as he was led away by an agent. "Last night I was stocking the gift shop. I swear!"

"Wait! Grunkle Stan! You've got the wrong guy! Our Grunkle Stan might shoplift the occasional tangerine, but he's not some evil super villain!" Mabel cried out.

Frida and Zoe remained silent, knowing what Mabel was right. However she didn't need to know that their mother and grandmother were supervillains.

The lead agent bent down to get at eye-level with the twins and their cousins. "Listen, kid. We've been watching your family all summer and we've seen some disturbing things. But nothing as dangerous as what your uncle is hiding. Somewhere hidden in this shack is a doomsday device!" He turned to his fellow agent, handing him the tablet. "Trigger, you take the children. I'll talk to the old man."

He turned back to the kids. "Sorry to break it to you kids." He put on sunglasses. "But you don't know your uncle at all."

With that he walked away and Agent Trigger snaps his fingers and pointed at the children. Two agents approached the children.

An agent bent down and took Mabel's icy-pop, holding an evidence bag. "Icy-pop. Clear."

"Hey!" Mabel cried, reaching up toward her icy-pop.

The other agent led the children away. Once they were gone the first agent who took Mabel's icy-pop looked to his left to see if the coast was clear and then licked the icy-pop. The four kids were led into a police car, and the door is shut behind them. Looking out the window they could see Stan in a government vehicle.

Stan looked at them and taps on the window with his cuffed hands. "Kids, you gotta believe me! For once I'm actually innocent!" He managed to say before the car drove off. "Kids!"

Xxx

Wendy Corduroy was walking towards the Mystery Shack, humming a small song. "Headin' into work. Doo-doo-doo-doo-doooo."

"Ground team! Move, move, move!"

"Break down the door!

Two agents broke down door to the Mystery Shack and a helicopter flew over the Shack.

Seeing all of this Wendy turned around and started walking away. "Or maybe not."

Connected Era

Back with the group and Ozric, the group of six walked through a camp in the middle of the desert with horses at manmade stables and tents and fires set up with people gathered around them. The newcomers looked around as they saw kids running around having fun, people in circles around the fire making swords and weapons, and much more. The group continued to follow Ozric until they made it to a larger tent then the rest as a fire was burning in front of it with a pot boiling over it.

Ozric stopped walking as they followed in his tracks and stopped as well.

He turned around and looked at them all. "Please..."

Ozric grabbed the huge pot from the fire and placed it on the ground as he pulled off the lid and looked inside of the pot, smelling the steam that ascended from it with pleasure in his face.

"Grab a bowl and help yourselves, you all must be hungry after that little battle with the nomads. And follow me inside, I believe I possess information you might want to know." He said as he took a bowl and poured himself some of whatever that was in the pot before he turned around and walked into his tent. The four mimicked Ozric's actions as they all walked into the tent.

It looked much bigger inside as they all looked down to see Ozric was sitting on the floor crossed legged, the group of five copied hm as they all sat in front of him while they saw him eat. The group once again mimicked him as they started eating the grub that Ozric was eating, but that's when Cree, Leo, Aisling and even Heero all gained faces of disgust and looked down at their grub…Only to see piles of massive, thick, slimy worm squirming around in their bowls. All the while Rolf had an expression of joy as he started eating up the meal like there was no tomorrow.

"Grub worms are a great and nutritious meal, when you're in the dry heat of the desert, you're going to need as much water and protein as you can get. And these creatures are filled with them." Ozric said as he ate another spoonful of them while Aisling, Cree, Leo and Heero's faces of disgust increased as they placed their bowls down.

"I just lost my appetite..." Cree muttered.

"Me too..." Leo agreed.

"Me three..." Aisling said.

All though Heero had survival training and of course had learned to stomach provisions this…food was a little too strong even for him.

"You are missing out!" Rolf said as he continued to eat his meal.

"So umm... Ozric, you said you had some information for us?" Leo asked.

"Yes, I am from the kingdom of Pangea but I have come in response to a dangerous threat. All the good people and families here are under my protection. We can handle the occasional swarm of Grimm or ban of Raiders... But something much worse is threatening my people... Using technology much like your own to subjugate other peoples and tribes from an enemy I have faced before." Ozric explained.

"And... Who's that?" Cree asked.

"King Sidorak..." Ozric said as everyone looked up in surprise, everyone except for Rolf who was still eating and Heero.

Rolf stopped as he saw his friend's faces of surprise and recognition. "Umm... Rolf would like to know what you are all so surprised about. You all look like you've seen the ghost of Rolf's great, great Nano who slayed the great sea cucumber."

"Sidorak... Wasn't that the same gem that Mars had that he used to power his suit when the Justice Friends fought him?" Leo wondered, remembering hearing about it from Donny.

"Yeah! I think it is!" Cree nodded.

"Well, Sidorak does carry around a mysterious glowing red gem attached to his chest piece that has granted him great power over many years, increasing the power of his Aura and strength." Ozric said as he ate a few more spoonfulls of his grub.

"Rolf told you we were in the past!" Rolf said through his mouth full of chewed up grub worms.

"But wait... You also said he was using technology and tools like our own to take over tribes and conquer other people? How could he have done that?" Heero asked as Leo rubbed his chin in thought.

"Hmm... Maybe, that guy who tried to steal from your ship was thrown in the past like us! Only Sidorak got ahold of him and made him use his time machine to bring back all of this new advanced tech from the future to take control!" Leo surmised.

"That makes sense." Rolf nodded in agreement.

"So umm... Anyway, maybe we can try to help each other out." Cree said turning back to Ozric.

"Indeed, we help each other, you use your knowledge of the future and all this odd technology and I use my knowledge from how King Sidorak thinks as we defeat him together." Ozric stated.

"Right! Exactly!" Cree said smiling.

"But wait, hold your horses for a second guys. How are we gonna find this, 'King Sidorak' guy?" Heero asked, but right before Ozric could've answered; all six of them heard multiple screams from the clan outside the tent as shadows of people started running around.

There were attackers outside. Without even saying a word, Ozric picked up his staff and dashed outside to face down whatever villain or monster who was threatening her people. The group of four followed suit, dashing outside and standing next to the heroic leader. They saw several men standing there in golden imperial roman-like armor carrying advanced looking spears as they approached Ozric and the five.

"I am going to give you one warning and one warning alone... LEAVE the camp at once, and I will spear your life, but if you attack... All of you will die... And I will travel all the way to Sidorak himself and destroy him!" Ozric yelled furiously.

The men in imperial armor just looked at each other and laughed before turning back to him.

"We have finally got information of where your camp is from a band of raiders... You and your people are now hereby property of the humble and great King Sidorak." One of the guards said as all of them aimed their spears as Ozric and the five teenagers as small blue devices shot out of them and attached to the teens and Ozric's chest and they all groaned in pain.

As they stopped, all of them look down at those pieces of technology on their chest in confusion as they look back up at the guards.

"Those are control disks, with those on you WILL follow our orders. Now, bow to your rightful superiors at once." One of the lead guards said.

Ozric was absolutely furious along with the teens as they all pulled out their weapons and charged at the guard. The guards didn't even flitch as the lead one aimed his spear at them and five beams of electricity came from his staff and connected with the disks on the fives chest as they all screamed in pain and collapses on the ground, unconscious.

All Heero could see was darkness, but as he opened up his eyes, he saw that he, Leo, Rolf, Aisling, and Ozric were in some sort of dark cage. He could faintly hear cheering and speaking from outside the walls, as he also heard a constant banging. He looked over to see Ozric was banging her fists on the walls of the cage over and over in a vain attempt to escape.

"Ugh... What was that?" Heero asked rubbing his head as he stood back up as the rest ran over to him. "What happened?"

"A battalion of guards knocked us out and kidnapped us! Rolf has a feeling the 'King Sidorak' has dark plans for us all!" Rolf answered.

"Yeah, not to mention we got these new disks on our chests! They electrocuted us and knocked us out when we tried to attack, and brought us here." Aisling continued.

Heero looked around, instantly noticing something off. "Where's Cree?"

"Before they locked us up the lead guard had Cree taken away." Leo answered with a scowl. "He said something about making her into the king's newest servant."

Heero stood up, frowning at that. "Servant?"

"Yeah, that's why we gotta find a way to get out of here." Leo said, looking around.

"Looks like someone is trying to find a way out already..." Aisling said, pointing over to Ozric as he was repeatedly banging his fists against the wall over and over

As he pulled his fists back for another bang, but he was stopped by a voice at the other end of the room.

"That's not going to work. These walls are made out of twelve feet of solid reinforced concrete. Not even an enraged Goliath can break his way through."

Ozric sighed before looking at the speaker."...Then what do you suggest?"

"Nothing really, unless..." But before the man could say anything, Aisling stood up from her group and looked over at the man who was sitting in shadow.

"I've... heard that voice before... Wait! He's-" But before Aisling could finish, the man at the end of the cage stood up and walked over to her, revealing that is was indeed the man who tried to steal her and Rolf's cane and the engine components of the Archangel. Only now he was in tattered clothes and his hair was much more grown out.

He reached his hand out to Aisling and the rest of the group as he spoke. "Aion Kronos, inventor of the Time Watch, at your service." The teen proudly introduced himself but nobody shook his hand and only glared at him.

"You're the lily livered fool who tried to steal the cane of Rolf's ancestors!" Rolf yelled.

"Yeah, and you all chased me. But sometimes, times tunnels can be counterintuitive. Even though you were seconds behind me, I showed up six months before you did..." Aion said.

"Why did you want to steal from my ship?" Heero questioned.

"I can't really tell you much about your own future, but all I can really say is that you and your friends become famous." Aion answered.

"Really? What for?" Aisling answered.

"Sorry, I can't tell you any more than that if you don't want the space-time continuum to collapse upon itself." Aion stated.

"Where's your time machine?" Leo asked.

"Now THAT'S a story... As soon as I got here, I was ROBBED!" Aion dramatically wailed.

"By King Sidorak." Leo guessted.

"Yes, when I got here he took my Time Watch and took over the surrounding tribes, clans, and villages... More than usual anyway. He keeps taking trips to the future and comes back with stolen technology. He keeps me here to teach him how to use the stuff that he can't figure out how to use himself." Aion explained.

"Which I would suspect is mostly due to the fact that he is not too bright." Ozric commented.

"It's been absolutely terrible here. It's been demining and humiliating, if you help me I'll gladly accept whatever punishment you have planned for me. I just want to go home!" Aion went as far as to kneel as he begged.

"How did Sidorak managed to become this powerful with a time machine?" Leo asked.

"Future tech, like these disks on all of our chests. To keep prisoners and slaves in line. It doesn't matter what kind of Semblance you have or how strong you are, you can't fight against it. It can also shut off certain abilities as the guards out there can induce quiet a painful shock. But it's still the easiest way to keep control of all of you once the games begin." Aion answered.

"Games? What games?" Rolf asked.

"Haven't you ever learned about the Connected Era? King Sidorak and other tyrannical kings and conquerors like him would build massive stadiums so him and his subjects can be entertained as traitors and prisoners would fight to the death and get eaten by Grimm in the ring." Aion explained.

Before any members of the group could've asked him what he meant by that, the huge metal doors to the massive cell opened up to reveal three imperial guards standing there holding spears.

"Come, your match begins now." The lead imperial guard said.

At first the five refused to go as they showed expressions of fury and anger, but with only one gesture of the guards advanced spears reenacted the pain Ozric, Heero, Aisling, Leo, and Rolf experienced the first time. The five begrudgingly followed the guard's orders as they stepped outside, as the doors then closed. As everyone stepped outside, the looked around to see that they were in a coliseum. The spectators in the seats were cheering and clapping as they watched the new gladiators walk up on the field.

The five could already see the other pieces of technology that Sidorak stole from the future. Several huge mega screens on the sides of the coliseum showed close-up shots of the group while there were floating miniature robots flying around as they were videotaping them. As the group continued to walk, they were stopped by the guards as they reached the middle of the field. And right in front of the group, around forty feet above the gladiatorial arena was a luxurious spectators spot where King Sidorak himself sat on his massive throne with imperial guards by his sides and beautiful women in little clothing lying down by his feet.

King Sidorak himself had white short hair, some sort of breathing machine on his mouth that he most likely stolen from the future, along with tubes jutting out from each side of it and ending as each side of Sidorak's head, several facial scars around his eyes, a massive dark red trench coat with a ridiculously tall color, his left hand having a black glove on it, his right hand was replaced with a new robotic hand with two large fingers and one large thumb, and the crest of Sidorak's chest had a glowing red stone lodged in it.

Heero looked up and noticed an important detail.

Cree was sitting next to King Sidorak's throne on her knees with a resentful look on her face. It probably had to with the fact she was now wearing a dark red colored bra that showed off her cleavage, while a silk veil covered her mouth and nose. She wore a pair of red silk pants while golden accessories covered her arms, legs and golden shoes adorned her feet. To complete the look a golden collar was clapped around her neck with a golden chain attaching it to Sidorak's throne.

'So that's what the guards meant. Sidorak must have wanted her as his own personal slave.' Heero thought, narrowing his eyes slightly.

"If Mikey or Raph were here I am sure they would say something like 'Seems like someone is compensating for something'..." Leo muttered and one of the guards hit him over the head with his spear.

"Show the king respect!" The guard yelled as an announcer stepped forward with a microphone and spoke into it.

"Welcome citizens of Sidorak City! We are THRILLED to have an AMAZING SHOW TODAY! Today, we have some special guests today... The outlaw, legendary warrior, and king of the heathen Pangea kingdom, King Ozric has finally been tracked down and captured! And for his attempts to overthrow our beloved king he will DIE an honorable death in the ARENA!" The Announcer said as the crowd went wild and cheered. "But! That's not all... Four MORE outlaws who have been caught planning to overthrow our king with the outlaw Ozric will fight and die for your entertainment as well!"
