Opening File: The Hydra
A Hydra is a Kaiju Class Grimm and considered to one of the most dangerous in existence. Formed from a magical core and a great deal of the Dark Substance that all Grimm are made from this monster stands as a king amongst all other Grimm, even other Fallen with only few able to control it. Eight serpentine heads, all showing different behaviors and thought patterns but all driven to a similar goal, gigantic bat like wings with two clubbed tails with spikes at the end, and standing over five hundred feet tall it is believed that this Grimm is an evolved version of the Grimm resembling the dragon Yamata no Orochi from Japanese legends.
The few who have survived long enough to even glance at this monster managed to give it several names:
Kaiju Grimm Zero
The One Who is Many
It's most famous name would be…King Grimm Ghidorah.

"TOM we have a situation." SARA said just as the file closed.
"What is it?" TOM asked, taking a seat.
"I am picking up a massive electromagnetic disturbance coming from Earth." SARA said, showing TOM a map of Earth with a massive storm appearing over...
"The Darklands." TOM muttered, recognizing the location.
"Affirmative. Something is giving off a massive energy signature and a tropical storm is forming right in the center of the Darklands. And it's growing." SARA affirmed. "At this point we can't get a full scan of the Darklands and its getting hard to even get a reading on the surrounding lands."
"Are we still able to broadcast what's going on?" TOM asked.
"For now but we're going to have keep adjusting the frequency and if things get worse we could lose connection with Earth." SARA informed.
"Well that's not good." TOM rubbed his 'chin'. "Can we get into contact with Sebben? Let him and the others know what's going on?"
"I believe so."
"Then let's do it. I am getting a bad feeling here." TOM said, feeling uneasy about the shape of the storm forming over the Darklands.

"Agent Billy, in light of your recent successful missions it has been decided that you shall be promoted. Of course there lies a small issue at the moment."
Billy, sitting across from his superior, nodded. "My parents."
"Since we must remain a complete secret and because you receive more missions in light of your promotion a plausible cover story is needed." Agent Epsilon stated before handing Billy a folder. "Fortunately we have found one and it was actually an idea by your parents."
Billy looked at the papers inside and raised an eyebrow. "…Rollington Academy?"
"Pack up your bags, Agent Billy. You are going to military school."
Billy was then immediately shipped off to Rollington Academy.
Xxx
The experience was…brutal.
First his hair was shaved until it was short.
His military instructor barked in his face so much all Billy could hear were burping noises.
The instructor forced him to do push-ups in the rain with thunder and lightning being the sweet extra.
The sun scorched his body with his top removed as he held up two buckets loaded with bricks.
Rather than be allowed to sleep in the barracks Billy was forced to sleep outside with just a mere sack for cover and the eerie eyes surrounding him, possibly dangerous or Grimm but Billy had no way of knowing.
He was doing pushups again in the sun and sweating madly like a pig to the point he was afraid he was going to die of thirst. His helmet had shown that he had managed to advance to the rank of corporeal at least.
His instructor was barking in his face again as he shoved a bar of soap into his mouth, his voice sounding like a puppy barking since Billy's ears were partially clogged from being forced to clean the bathroom.
Finally having enough and having reached the next stage of the mission Billy started digging a hole with a spoon in an attempt to escape Rollington Academy.
And the plan ended with him wearing only his briefs as he was tied to a post with a blindfold over his eyes as the soldiers took aim…
Now while Rollington was a military school and not the actual military one would say this action is illegal. Under normal circumstances desertion was met with a court martial because it is downgraded to AWOL or Absence Without Leave. However due to the constant presence of the Grimm and other threats the military and their academies operated under combat conditions and desertion was a capital offense that is usually met with a firing squad. It was harsh but the reality is you cannot just run away from your country while you are enlisted in your duty to protect it and Rollington was allowed to conscript its students immediately to produce as many soldiers as quickly as possible.
BANG!
BANG!
BANG!
All according to plan.
Billy's 'body' was shipped back to his parents and he was buried with a small funeral.
While this happened Agent Billy received his next assignment: preventing the authorities from discovering the portal machine in the Mystery Shack of Gravity Falls.

"Captain Gantu, I'm afraid I come with bad news. You have trouble coming your way."
Captain Gantu quickly bowed before the image of the Grand Councilwoman. "My crew is well prepared for any danger, Councilwoman."
"Dr. Jumba has been captured and sentenced to life in prison." The galactic leader started.
"That's good news." Gantu quickly said, glad to hear something good happening for once.
"However one his genetic experiments that he has labelled Experiment 626 has escaped in a police cruiser." The woman continued, her tone becoming dire.
"That's bad news." Gantu said, dreading the idea of that lunatic's creations wondering the universe.
"Fortunately we are tracking him."
"That's good."
"He is approaching quadrant 51, Earth. Where you are."
"That's bad." Gantu said, shuddering slightly.
"As you know, Earth is designated off limits by the rest of the grand council due to it being a protected wildlife reserve for the mosquitoes and because of the dangers that exist on that planet. If 626 manages to reach that planet we might not able to capture it and prevent it from wreaking destruction on the inhabitants." The Councilwoman continued, not even blinking to Gantu's continued obvious observations. "I am sending you an agent who has knowledge of the planet."
"That's good."
"And with the only expert on 6-2-6: Dr. Jumba."
Gantu sputtered for a second. "That's…"
"Yes?" The Grand Councilwoman raised an eyebrow.
"That's…good news, Councilwoman." Gantu cleared his throat. "We will await their arrival."
"Be sure to hurry, Captain Gantu. The longer 6-2-6 is on the loose the more dangerous it might become."
"Understood." Gantu nodded as the transmission ended and let out a big sigh. "Anything else?"
A klaxon alarm answered his question.
"Wonderful…"

"Captain Gantu, we have a situation!"
"Report!" Gantu barked as he walked onto the bridge.
"Sensors are detecting something large leaving the Earth's atmosphere. It was in the center of a large storm pattern. "
"On screen." Gantu immediately ordered.
The view screen showed the Earth with a large dark cloud gathering over the continent known as America.
And Gantu could see something coming up from the center of it. "Magnify."
The officer at the sensor station did so, allowing Gantu a closer look at the object that left the planet's atmosphere.
When he saw what it was he gasped and his eyes widened. "By the Core…"
It appeared to be a Grimm but it was unlike anything he had seen in the database. It was massive, over five hundred feet tall with giant red bat like wings, two tails with bone like spiked clubs at the end, eight long necks with red scales traveling down to the main torso, eight dragon like faces with bone like armor resembling masks above their mouths which held razor sharp teeth.
"Captain, it's on a direct intercept course with us!" The tactical officer reported urgently.
"Raise particle barrier! Arm weapons! Prepare for evasive action!" Gantu barked immediately. "Send word to the council that a Grimm has left Earth!"
"Captain, the communications are being jammed. A massive electromagnetic field is coming from the creature and it's jamming our transmissions!" The communications officer reported, struggling to contact the Stellar Alliance for help…
Or to warn them before they were destroyed.
Gantu looked at the main screen as the eight headed monstrosity opened its mouth and eight beams of pure lightning that shot straight at the ship,
"EVASIVE ACTION!"
The ship managed to dodge all but one blast, slamming right into the shields. The impact of the force sent the ship spinning as the shields buckled and fell with the crew thrown about as consoles short circuited or exploded.
"Emergency Hyperspace Jump!" Gantu shouted, holding onto his command chair.
"Sir that would-"
"DO IT!"
The ship spun around and jumped to hyperspace as the eight headed Grimm fired another blast….
Missing it by mere inches.
Xxx
"And the United Stellar Alliance will not be monitoring this planet or troubling us for the time being." From the shadow of his throne room, Sammael hummed in satisfaction as the ship fled. "Now we can begin working on the next phase for dealing with Van Kleiss and the others."
He raised an eyebrow as another ship; another Stellar Alliance emerged from hyperspace and shot straight towards the Earth. He considered ordering the Hydra to blast it out of the stars but noticed how it began burning up in the atmosphere and decided it wasn't worth the effort.
He had bigger fish to fry.
With that in mind he reached out and commanded the Hydra to return to the Darklands. With the Stellar Alliance forced to withdraw that was one possible threat to his plans removed. He didn't need the Gaia Union or the Stellar Alliance trying to spy on Earth at this point in time, not when he was almost ready.
With the Hydra ready and the Invisible Hand gathering he just needed to wait for Sebben and the heroes to make their move.

During the Portal's Activation
Miss Spell rushed past Double D in the hopes she would reach the Mystery Shack before the gateway was activated. Just as it came within sight she was knocked down by a blast of magical energy, crashing down into the ground. Looking up she was greeted with the sight of a zombie dressed as a magician but knew this was no ordinary zombie.
"Al Lusion." She spoke as she stood up.
Better known as Abracadaver, the Magical Zombie. Most of the magical folk knew of Al Lusion and his life as a magician before he was revealed to be a fraud before his death. His hatred of humanity had allowed him to remain alive while dosed with dark magic until he made his return as a Magical Lich.
A horrible creature made from magic that was neither living nor dead. Created from the forbidden art of necromancy the soul is removed from the body and placed a mystical item while the Lich's mind remains bound to the animated corpse. With the soul bound to the living world outside of the body a Lich cannot be killed.
"You…die." Abracadaver pointed at Miss Spell and fired a blast of dark blue magical energy at her.
Narrowing her eyes Miss Spell dodged and summoned her wizard staff, spinning in one hand as she faced the magical Lich. She pointed and fired a blast of concentrated magical energy at Abracadaver, striking with an exploding force that kicked dust, smoke and debris everywhere. Seeing her chance Miss Spell rushed to the Shack, only for a rotting hand to shoot out of the smoke and grab her by the leg.
"Wha-?!" Miss Spell felt herself become completely paralyzed as she was pulled back and slammed into the ground as Abracadaver stepped out, completely unharmed.
"You…Cannot destroy me." The zombie said, releasing her foot and reclaiming his left hand.
Getting up Miss Spell realized she could not simply past him and reach the Shack. He was able to paralyze her with a mere touch and the fact that he was completely unharmed by her previous attack showed he was not by any means weak.
That left her with little option then to focus on her magic.
Focusing her energies into her staff she fired a white magical blast at Abracadaver who took it head on, believing it would not harm him.
However he was shocked to feel his body fail to absorb it and he doubled over in pain. "Wh-What? Why do I…feel pain?!"
"You may be technically immortal but you are not invincible. Even in the magical community almost anyone would prefer death over what you've become. I have access to good magic or light magic when it comes into contact with a being like you it can cause pain by attempting to force the evil magic out of your body. It's painful, extremely painful and it can reach the point where it is so painful you would be begging death." Miss Spell explained as she raised her staff. "Not that it would come."
Abracadaver growled as he stared at her with hate boiling in his red eyes.
"Now then I-" Miss Spell's eyes widened when spun around and watched as a great light exploded from the Mystery Shack. "NO!"
Abracadaver fired a giant magical wave of destructive energy that collided with Miss Spell as she was distracted, sending her crashing through the forest and knocking down several trees before she finally came to a stop, wounded and unconscious.
"Job done." Abracadaver lowered his hand and then turned to face the incoming black cars by the government. "New job."

Present Time
Dipper then turned to Hoagie who had been listening with his grandmother. "And Hoagie is that really you?"
Hoagie nodded. "Yeah it's me, Dipper. Been a long time."
"Long time, you've been missing for nearly a week. It hasn't been that long."
"A week for you. A lifetime for me." Hoagie said with everyone's eyes now on him, his new appearance finally setting in for most of them. "I am not sure where to begin."
"Start with the part where you decided to have a kid out of wedlock of all things." Lydia Gilligan grunted. "Of all the stupid-"
"It wasn't like that, Grandma." Hoagie protested weakly but flinched when she raised her cane. "How is Sky by the way?"
Lydia lowered her cane. "Aside from getting over the shock of being here, meeting her grandma and uncle…She's mostly good. Taking a bit for her to adjust to suddenly be here and it's not much better for us."
"Wait, still adjusting. But we sent her to you years ago." Hoagie recalled.
"It was a few days ago on our side." Lydia replied. "Now get talking, now!"
"Okay, okay." Hoagie raised his arms in surrender before taking a deep breath. "Well, I suppose it starts back to my own childhood. I was named after my dad, Hoagie Gilligan Sr. and he was my hero. He got me hooked into planes, mechanics and all that science and he was even working on a new airship that was being built in Japan. Until…"
Xxx
Hoagie watched in silent horror as the ship his dad was on exploded.
Xxx
"It had happened out of nowhere and we left Japan almost a broken family. My little brother Tommy was born while we there. I think the sudden stress caused Mom to give birth to him early because he wasn't due for a couple more weeks." Hoagie paused slightly, remembering feeling numb for days after the incident. "From that point on it was me, my mom, Tommy and my grandmother when she wasn't at the old folks' home."
Lydia growled a bit but said nothing.
"As I grew I was plagued with questions about why my dad died like that. Why would someone blow up his ship like that? What he did that was so wrong to deserve that? Then I got inspired by old detective stories and I thought if I could learn about to be a detective I could find out the truth." Hoagie continued. "Well, the truth was I think Dad was killed by those fanatics working for the group called Satyra."
"The Satyra?" Stan couldn't help but interrupt. "Those nut cases?"
"You know them Stanley?" Ford questioned.
"Almost everyone knows them and no, I did no business with them." Stan said, answering the unasked question. "Neither as undercover or a conman. Those guys are nuts. A bunch of Faunus and Mobians that got the idea of them being a master race of some kind. I am not surprised you don't know about them, Sixer. This was long after the accident."
"The rumor was that Satyra destroyed the ship to fuel their propaganda that it was going to be used by the military to make things harder for all Faunus and Mobians even though it's not true. My dad wasn't prejudiced or anything like that and I have grown up with having Faunus and Mobian friends." Hoagie continued.
"So have we." Frida gestured to herself and Zoe.
"Me too." Mabel agreed.
"Yeah and this summer I got an…invite to a fake contest here in Gravity Falls." Hoagie continued. "Tell me, you guys ever hear of someone named…Bill Cipher?"
Xxx
"So is the boss finally sending us after Van Kleiss?"
"You see the way the clouds are moving? Pretty clear something big is about to go down." A cocky voice said in excitement.
"Logic forces me to agree with our parasitic ally." A cultured voice with a Mexican accent spoke.
"What was that?" Drake Sypher growled.
Before an argument could break out, the doors to the meeting room opened and in response Team JJIBA, Team DWMM and Team TRMT all stood up and watched as Moloch entered first, followed by Black Velvet, General Skarr and then Sammael.
Everyone took a moment to notice Sammael's new attire that made him look even more intimidating than before, taking in the semi-bone like torso suit of armor over a black and red body suit he wore underneath and the prominent cloak that resembled his previous dark overcoat with shortened sleeves to show the bone like spiked gauntlets on his arms and flowed down to his shins while a propped up collar flanked both sides of his neck and if that wasn't eerily enough there was the red Grimm eye on the center of his chest armor that glowed as it was the eye of a real Grimm.
"My apologies for taking so long, my friends." Sammael gestured for them all to sit. "I had to go slip on my power suit."
That was perhaps a joke aimed at how heroes dressed themselves in flashy costumes and suit and it was enough to garner a smile or chuckle from a few at the table as Sammael sat down.
"Now then, I believe it's time we begin our discussion about Van Kleiss and the next stage of the plan to retrieve the Gem of Heart." The leader of the Invisible Hand said, addressing his subordinates directly. "And before anyone asks, Team KLAW is running an errand so they will be late but this operation concerns the teams assembled here now since you are the more offensive fighters."
'That's one way of putting it.' Moloch thought as he glanced at Sammael. 'From the whole beginning you had this planned or at least planned out what was to be the endgame. You managed to bring Van Kleiss here into this world and help him set up his lab where he would conduct his experiments.'
Van Kleiss stood before his portal machine as it activated.
'Then you allowed him to peer into the multi-verse, bringing back subjects for him to study under the pretense that he would give you an army.'
Sammael glanced at the pods holding Danielle, Raven, Superboy, Skulker and Vlad Plasmius. Later the pods held Buttercup, Valerie, Grodd and his Legion of Doom and the others.
'But that was never the real plan. You wanted Van Kleiss to stir up such trouble he would have the attention of Sebben, the Justice Friends and every major or Hunter in the world and lure them to him because of the location you chose.'
A door resided in an underground chamber with the symbol of a heart etched on it that was drawn in the center of a four eyed creature.
'The location where Van Kleiss set up his lab was also the location of the long lost shrine of the Gem of Heart. Also the location of the shrine where the order of the ancient world foretold the coming of GOLB and what would be needed to stop him.'
Sammael was kneeling in front of Julie, conversing with her on the nature of the Fire Elemental.
'Only the Fire Elemental can open the door to the shrine where the Gem of Heart resides. You knew that simply getting the Fire Elemental was not enough and that's where Van Kleiss truly came in. A powerful force residing over the shrine buried deep into the Earth that the good guys can't ignore. The true purpose was to weaken both sides in the battle that is to come when Van Kleiss has amassed enough power from his experiments to truly become a threat.'
Van Kleiss stood over his greatest creation and the key to becoming truly powerful: A.M.A.Z.O.
'Force both sides into a confrontation and then clear the way to the Gem of Heart.' Moloch mentally calculated the plan that he had come to understand. 'Sammael, you are a devious bastard. With the Gem of Heart you'll have the one power that can truly banish the Crimson God himself. This is what you meant by clearing the board, not gather an army but force all the armies out into the open and into a bloodbath.'
How…exhilarating.
