Hey, Omni. Hope you are doing good, wherever you are. Nigel and I have been having a blast down in the Kingdom of Moanna. We met Nigel's cousin, took up Windsurfing and even took part in an offer to the goods. Don't worry, no human sacrifices were involved.
We just had to carry a few jugs of water up a mountain and let it be sacrificed to the god of the sky. Not too bad and I think our offering got us some cool weather down here. Only it might have worked too well since it's now literally snowing down here.
That's right; you did not hear Abby wrong.
It's literally snowing down here in the Pacific where stuff like that never happens. Ice is starting form in the ocean and we barely made it back to our villa safely before the ice froze over the whole ocean. Something's not right out here, Omni and Abby has a feeling it's something magical and…Elemental. The sad thing is we took a vacation to get away from this crazy stuff but it looks like it followed us all the way out here.
I only hope it's not something that's coming after us because we barely made it out of that scrape with the Gems and those Fallen bad guys. I'm not like the idea of going something like this again so soon, especially when the people around us are the ones who get hurt.
And it's snowing with ice spreading…
You know which of the Elementals you have as friends has control over ice and snow. I've just managed to accept my own destiny as the Candy Elemental and I've worked hard to incorporate the memories of my past lives while still being Abby. Nigel is…He's struggling, like something is holding him back and I got a good idea what it could be. Back on the Gem Homeworld Nigel confided in me about something involving the first Ice Elemental that he feels guilty over even though he shouldn't.
I shouldn't say much more as it's personal and I know you'll understand. I just hope he can get past this because he's going to need it for what's coming. I don't know what it is but it's not the Gems or even the Fallen this time.
It's something else.
And it feels really familiar.
That's what scares me the most.
Your pal, Abby.

"Everyone is connected, no matter how small the connection is. Our biggest connection is that we share the same planet, breath the same air, walk the same ground and no matter different we are or the lives we live these connections are always there even if most people will know, understand or acknowledge that." TOM said as the message window closed. "For those that do understand, never forget that and try to see if you can help everyone around you understand that as well. Even if it's only a little step, day after day."

"This guy and your brother used to work in the Satyra?"
For White Tiger's afternoon, it was spent telling his newfound friends and allies about the good days of his brother and Dwayne.
"Bear in mind that not all of Satyra is as the media portrays them now. Faunus and Mobians have the same rights and privileges in this country here and many other countries. For some, specifically in the middle east it's not that simple."
"It never is." Artemis stated.
"The fact is that Faunus and Mobians have existed alongside Humans since the beginning but not everyone accepts that, especially those that seem as an affront to their religions and beliefs. That has led to a lot of bloody history and in the wake of that, groups like Satyra were formed in response. They were scattered and unorganized with same preaching equality and others…not so peaceful. Then, half a century ago these groups were all somehow united under a single banner, the Satyra." White Tiger explained sitting at the table with others as he explained. "No knows for sure the identity of the leaders but assumingly they were not all one and the same the leader has only ever gone by a single title: His Eminence."
"Eminence?" Kazemon questioned.
"That is right. That's the only name we have had on Satyra's leader and he has only ever been seen or heard by his top lieutenants." Dwayne jumped in. "Bagheera was one of them but he quit soon after. Possibly because His Eminence wasn't the righteous being people thought he was."
"And what is he?" Connor asked.
"A creature of unknown origins, possibly from an advanced race of Mobians that has long gone extinct. Bagheera was reluctant to talk but claimed that His Eminence had access to technology and sorcery that could make Satyra extremely dangerous and so far he's been doing just that. He has played on the anger and hate of Faunus and Mobians who have been mistreated to fan the flames of war against countries like Rodigan while at the same gathering allies, Humans included despite what Satyra preaches for a secret plan." White Tiger answered. "Some sort of agenda we have not been able to figure out. Bagheera believes His Eminence wants to take back the world for his kind. Assuming his kind were even Mobians to begin with."
The two Legendary Warriors and the two members of the Young Justice Team shared uneasy looks at that, both groups having something similar in their worlds. For the Legendary Warriors it was the Human/Beast War in the Digital World, when the human type Digimon and the beast type Digimon started fighting in full force and the war engulfed the entire world. Like how His Eminence was using the strife between Humans, Faunus and Mobians a Digimon named Ornismon used the hate and fear of the Human/Beast War in the Digital World to make himself stronger before he was sealed away and tried to restart the war again when he broke free.
For Artemis and Connor, they were reminded of the Light the people who made it up: Vandal Savage, Ra's Al-Ghul, Lex Luthor, Queen Bee, Klarion the Witch-Boy, the Brain and Ocean Master who manipulated their Earth in their mad plans for domination and so-called evolution. The Team and the Justice League had faced them several times and each time had only managed to narrowly thwart the Light's plans but not enough to discourage them in their mad ambitions.
"Anyways, my brother and Dwayne were members of Team Chimera, an elite team in the Satyra that went and fought in all the places where Faunus and Mobians were treated the worst and they did a good job. Many looked up to them and though some humans hated them for their meddling, especially in Rodigan the results kept on getting more and more positive. Until Chimera's leader had a disagreement with Lieutenant Paz, the one who created Team Chimera to act as not only protectors but to always foster peace with Humans." White Tiger continued, scowling under his mask. "I'm sure you can figure out who the leader was."
Lowemon figured it out quickly. "Pardus. That's who you are referring to."
Dwayne nodded. "Right. Pardus was never into peace and he was the most brutal and savage of us. Paz was barely able to keep him under control. I would say on a leash but we never said that out loud in the Satyra. Kind of demeaning."
"But if anyone deserved a leash it was Pardus. He brutalized villages and towns in countries where Faunus and Mobians were treated the worst, even killed humans who were more innocent compared to what we were fighting. This did not sit well with Paz and when he and Pardus disagreed…" White Tiger clenched a fist. "Pardus killed him and pinned the blame on Human assassins. He used the anger at Paz's death to turn his branch of Satyra into a group of brutal psychopaths. Five years later, my brother had enough after Pardus tried to massacre a small human village and stopped him, giving the villagers time to flee. He then challenged Pardus to a battle for leadership, a fight which my brother won."
"Rather than accept defeat gracefully, Pardus fled and tried to assassinate His Eminence to take control of the entire organization. But it seems Satyra was on to him because he was lured by a false lead that left him cornered when Bagheera and his brother, the newly dubbed White Tiger caught him along with the rest of Team Chimera." Dwayne said, patting White Tiger on the back a few times. "Rather than kill him and have us branded as executioners by Satyra and the rest of the world, we gave Pardus over to the Human authorities at the La Brea prison where they locked up him like the beast that he is. We all hoped he would never get out. Team Chimera broke up after that, White Tiger made a name for himself as a member of the Justice Friends, Bagheera broke his group off from Satyra and for last twenty years I have worked to make amends for the damage that was done when Pardus was leader. The rest as they say is history."
The listeners were silent as they considered the tale they had just been told. White Tiger's brother and Dwayne had joined Satyra with good intentions and it seemed like they had been doing some real good before Pardus took over.
"Anyways, now onto the matter of why I am here." Dwayne said, looking at White Tiger. "Do you remember the pact we made if Pardus were to EVER escape?"
White Tiger looked on in confusion for a moment, before it hit him like a ton of bricks and he sighed. "... Of course, I'm so sorry, Dwayne. With everything that's been going on lately... I guess I just forgot."
"Haha... Well then, it's a good thing I stopped by. The Satyra is planning something big and it looks like the Red Caps are looking to go to war to everyone." Said Dwayne as he pulled out a few pictures of White Tiger and other members of the Justice Friends along with the Legendary Warrior and the Young Justice members with a bunch of holes poked in them as he held them up.
"Found these taped to the darts board in a bar nearby." Said Dwayne as Connor snatched the photo of him from the Faunus, and tore it up. "You guys made an impression on the Red Caps. I think they hate you now as much as they hate the Satyra."
"Price of fame." Artemis remarked as she looked at her picture.
"Well I'm your friend's old buddy so of course I'll help. But we're still going to need more people." Dwayne pointed out.
"Yeah, like Sol, Ajax and Beaton." White Tiger agreed.
"About that... Sol and Beaton were murdered." Dwayne said with a grim expression as everyone looked at him in shock.
"What!? Wait... how did they die?" Kazemon asked.
"They were mauled to death by some wild animal." Said Dwayne as White Tiger's brows forwarded in anger.
"Pardus..." White Tiger banged a fist on the table. "Glob damn it!"
"Yeah... But, luckily for you, me and Ajax are still tight. In fact, I can take you to him. He may not be in the Satyra anymore, but he still knows almost everything that's going on in there. But, he may not be willing to help out." Dwayne pointed out.
"Yeah, well... With everything that's happened so far, I'm sure I can talk some sense into him." Said White Tiger as he and Dwayne started walking.
"We should come with you." Lowemon said as he stood up. "This looks to be serious."
"What about the mission with Van Kleiss?" White Tiger asked. "You guys can't just sign on another mission. If everyone goes and you miss it, something could happen that could cost you the chance to get home."
"Yeah and we can't just let you go off and face some psycho killer." Connor stood up. "Look, you went through the trouble of preparing us with the spars and taking on the Red Caps. You showed us how people in this universe fight and we can be of help."
"And I think the mission might be put on hold." Everyone looked to the door, watching as Valhallen walked in. "Take a look out the window."
They did and saw…
"Snow?" Artemis and Kazemon asked at the same time. "In the summer?"
"I think we got a major problem with the weather because it's not just happening here. Bad enough that all flight has been suspended and any aircraft in the air has been ordered to land immediately." Valhallen stated with his arms crossed. "Huntsmen have been ordered to abort their missions and seek shelter. So if you plan on going after this guy you got the go-ahead but keep an eye on the weather."
"This blizzard's happening all over the country?" White Tiger asked.
"And spreading." Valhallen nodded. "If you still plan on going out I suggest you take the Warp Pad. I got to talk with the major and see if anyone needs help."
"You're giving the go-ahead?" White Tiger asked.
"Sounds serious and we got a few serious problems to deal with. Once we sort it out and get back together, we go after Van Kleiss." Valhallen replied.
White Tiger nodded and looked to the others. "Better suit up and get moving then."

Dear Abby, I am glad to hear you and Nigel are holding up well. I've noticed snow here in London as well and I have also sensed foul play. Unfortunately there is little I can do for the moment, especially since we are so far away from each other. My only advice is that the two of you stay together and try to protect each other from whatever comes. I'll see what can be done on my end and hopefully this will be over quickly.
Stay safe

Omnimon, Second in Command of the Royal Knights in the Digital World and the famous Grimm Slayer lowered his table into his cloak as he walked down the streets of London. It was starting to lightly snow just as Abby said in her message and it was at the wrong time of year.
He knew something might be wrong but was in no position to help.
"Grimm Slayer…"
The Digimon stopped in the middle of the empty street, hearing a voice whispering his name. An ominous chill(no made pun intended) was felt and he summoned his sword. Looking around he could only snow and…
Red eyes in the dark
Omnimon took off down the streets.
Xxx
Dracon grunted he stomped down the streets, his entire form radiating anger.
Why was he angry?
Major Glory
That self-righteous, self-loving, self-indulgent bas-
A whistle stopped his internal rant and he looked around the empty street. He activated his sensors, scanning for any signs of trouble.
No sign of anything.
He walked forward, stopping near a statue of a plane and two gargoyles perched on it. According to the plaque, these Gargoyles served in World War II and stopped the Nazi Death Crab from trampling all of London.
"Bet they were never show offs." Dracon muttered.
"Dragon…"
Dracon spun around, his audio sensors picking up a voice and pulled out his magnum. However there was no one there…
Nothing but snow.
Was he losing it?
Perhaps his latest fight left him dazed and he was just processing it all.
After all, he needed to track down and save Agunimon before-
"Joseph Matthews."
Dracon spun around again, spotting someone leaning against the statue and his processing core nearly stopped when he saw who it was.
"Did you miss me?" Sammael asked calmly, smiling at the Gundam who aimed and pulled the trigger.
BANG!
The magnum fired and the statue was destroyed.
But not Sammael.
The blast had traveled right through him as he stared down at his torso where the blast should have hit and then looked up at the Gundam. "I guess you did."
Dracon growled.
"Why so bitter?" Sammael asked as he stepped away from the destroyed statue. "It can't be because you just destroyed a historical landmark."
Dracon aimed to and was ready to fire again.
"Go ahead. Let's heat things up." Sammael snapped his fingers.
That was not directed at Dracon.
The Dragon of Denver was suddenly engulfed by a pillar of lava that exploded from below his feet. Dracon grunted as he staggered back, the lava scorching at his armor and melting his magnum. Looking up, Dracon spotted a Grimm, tall, imposing and muscular with hand shaped wings sprouting from its back.
"I see you spent time with Glory boy." Sammael remarked casually. "How was that? You tell him about the good old days? You tell him about the little fanboy who idolized and worshiped him?"
Dracon snarled as he forward, aiming back a fist to splatter the Grimm as it held out a hand. There was a flash of purple light and Dracon immediately rebounded off the Grimm when he made contact. The Dragon of Denver slammed right into the ground as an aura of purple light surrounded him and he felt so…heavy.
'Gravity Dust…He's creating a field of gravity around me!' Dracon realized as he struggled to get up.
"You tell him about that day?" Dracon looked up, staring into the red eyes of the person he hated the most outside of Major Glory. "You tell him how that boy believed the great hero was coming for him? To save him? To save his precious family?"
"Shut up." Dracon growled.
"Your soft-hearted mother." Sammael continued. "Your battle weary grandpa."
"Shut up!"
"Your naïve and heroic worshiping dad."
"SHUT UP!"
Dracon's wings spread out and he blasted out of the gravity field, flying right through Sammael's image. "Stop hiding behind your tricks and face me, coward!"
"Hmm…" Sammael hummed as he turned around. "Coward? That's funny coming from the little boy, hiding in the armor of a giant."
Dracon snarled, his eyes glowing as Sammael vanished, leaving him to face the new Grimm.
A Terra-Claw.

Later in a building called 'Procyon's Boxing Gym', the group of six made their way inside as they looked around at all the different boxing equipment and posters of boxing heavyweight champions on the walls.
"Okay, look Tiger... After Ajax quit the Satyra twenty years ago he's... gained some weight." Said Dwayne as the group kept walking. "And since we're pretty tight and still friends, I let him box here for free so he can lose some weight."
"Okay... But why are you telling me this?" White Tiger skeptically asked.
"Because... It WON'T be a good idea to mention his weight. The guy's really sensitive about that." Dwayne said.
"Oh yeah... Because when I think about a two hundred pound gorilla Faunus who fought in the Satyra, 'sensitivity' is the first thing that comes to mind." White Tiger drawled as the group approached a boxing ring, the group could see two figures fighting in the ring.
"Well... I'm sure if this 'Ajax' fought in the Satyra during the peaceful leadership, I'm sure he's a good guy with a good heart." Kazemon as she and the rest of the group saw a morbidly obese gorilla Faunus boxing with a Faunus with wolf ears.
"... A good heart that happens to be working it's posterior off right now..." Connor said as the wolf Faunus tried to lay it into Ajax with little to no effect, as the gorilla Faunus uppercut the wolf Faunus and caused him to literally fly out of the ring.
"Ajax Tublat? That looks like the creature that ATE Ajax Tublat." Said White Tiger gaping at the sight of his brother's old teammate.
"Umm... I don't know guys... But if Kid Flash was here he would say that if there's someone with a rack that big who happens to be a guy, he shouldn't be able to do all that when he's an H size." Artemis couldn't help but say as Kazemon turned to her.
"Thanks for the image."
"Sorry." Artemis said as Dwayne turned to her.
"You better be happy he didn't hear you, archer girl. Or else you would've been scrapped off the ceiling after Ajax was finished with you." Said Dwayne as White Tiger walked up to the ring and climbed up.
Ajax was drinking a banana smoothie as he turned around to face White Tiger.
"Umm... Hey, Ajax. I seemed to remember that woman when she was eighty five pounds." Said White Tiger as Ajax looked down at his arm that had the tattoo of a female antler Faunus on it. That grew in size along with Ajax.
"Haha... Oh that's funny, you're still just as funny as the last time we saw each other, Tiger." Said Ajax still drinking his smoothie.
"Ajax. Pardus is free. We need your help." Said White Tiger as Ajax glared as Dwayne who simply shrugged his shoulders as Ajax looked back at White Tiger.
Ajax than turned his back to White Tiger as he began to walk away. "No. Can't help you. I used to be involved in that mess, but not anymore."
"Wait! Please-!" White Tiger called out and Ajax turned around to face him. "You used to be my brother's old team mate, please if not for me then do it for him."
"If that animal Pardus is involved, I want nothing to do with it. Just because we were team mates doesn't mean we were best friends. All my life, I was judged and looked down by humans. Those worthless snobbish pieces of trash! And even after everything the human's did to us, you have the nerve to bring two of them in here!" Yelled Ajax pointing as Superboy and Artemis who were standing there and minding their own businesses.
The two had hurt expressions on their faces as Ajax turned around again. "Make sure not to let the door hit you on the way out." Said Ajax as he began to walk away again,
"Ajax, I'm not just going to let you walk away now, Buddy. I need your-" But White Tiger was cut-off as Ajax turned to him.
"... Did you just call me CHUBBY?" Asked Ajax.
"What? No I-
"RRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Roared Ajax as he charged forward and knocked White Tiger back causing him to fly back and crash into Lowemon, Kazemon, Superboy and Artemis as Dwayne jumped out of the way.
"Well... There goes my kidney." Lowemon muttered as he crawled out from under the pile as everyone stood back up.
As everyone stood up, Dwayne walked over to White Tiger. "Dude, I told you not to call him fat."
"I didn't call him CHUBBY I called him BUDDY!" Growled White Tiger as he tried to march over to Ajax to beat him up, but was stopped by Dwayne.
"Woah, woah, woah, woah, there man!" Said Dwayne as he put his hand on White Tiger's chest. "I got a better idea."
Later, White Tiger and Ajax were on opposite sides of the boxing ring while the others all sat on the sides as Kazemon held a sack of ice to her head.
Lowemon looked over at her with a concerned look as he spoke. "That was quite blow you got. Do you think you'll be okay?"
Kazemon nodded. "I'm good."
"Your friend will be fine, It's White Tiger I'm worried about. If White Tiger disappears and Ajax suddenly has a lump in his stomach... run." Dwayne said.
"I'm fine Lowemon, no need to worry. Just a small bump on the noggin." Kazemon said smiling.
"Just let us know if you start feeling drowsy or start getting any hallucinations." Artemis said with a smile as Kazemon stared at her with a confused look.
"Aretmis... Did you wear that on the way in here?" Kazemon asked as she hallucinated and saw Artemis in a suit of Roman armor.
"What?" Artemis asked confused as White Tiger and Ajax started to get ready.
"So, this is your fantastic idea, Dwayne?" Asked White Tiger as he put on boxing gloves.
"Don't be like that. Ajax doesn't like you very much. Just let him let his anger out on you a bit. I figured if you'd let him do that, he'll warm up to you and tell you everything you'd want to know, and even help." Said Dwayne as White Tiger looked back at Ajax's corner as he marched forward.
"Come on, Dwayne, look at him. Got a big old behind coming out the front of his shirt. By Dust, he's gonna have a coronary for Gob's sake. Is there even a stretcher big enough to take him out of here?" Asked White Tiger.
Ding!
Pow!
White Tiger was knocked to the ground as he was looking at Dwayne.
"It ain't him I'm worried about getting out of here on a stretcher." Said Dwayne.
"You're an asshole..." Said White Tiger as he stood back up and started to square off against the gorilla Faunus.
White Tiger started punching him in the gut ferociously as Ajax just giggled after every hit while his arms started to grow.
Pow!
"Haha... That tickled."
Pow!
"Ohhh! I almost felt that one!"
Pow!
"Did you forget about my semblance? The ability to make my arms REALLY big?" Asked Ajax as he pounded White Tiger with his extremely muscular arms and caused him to fly into the ropes of the ring, causing Ajax to laugh once more.
"Did you forget about his semblance? Really?" Asked Dwayne as White Tiger stood back up.
"Who's side are you on?!" Yelled White Tiger as he turned back to Ajax only to quickly dodge another punch.
But that's when Ajax grabbed the man by his shoulders and pulled his head back, ready to head-butt him. But as Ajax brought his head careening forward, White Tiger quickly used his semblance to blast Ajax before the ape Faunus head-butted him. Ajax stumbled back with his head pounding. White Tiger then viciously pummelled Ajax a few more times in the face before he landed one final punch to Ajax's head, only to make the giant stumble back.
"Damn." Said Dwayne as Ajax fell down on his back and shook the entire boxing ring.
That's when White Tiger jumped on top of his old team mate, takes off his boxing gloves, and extracts his claws, aiming them at Ajax's face.
"Now that I've BEATEN you... You're going to tell me everything I want to know." Said White Tiger as Ajax grew and expression of fear as he looked up at his old friend.
"Umm... Yeah, yeah... What do ya want to know?" Asked Ajax frightened.
"Dwayne told me you still have a few connections with the Satyra, and what they're doing now... YOU. WILL. TELL. ME. NOW!" Growled White Tiger as he still had his claws only hovering inches away from Ajax's face.
"Umm... Ye-Yeah! Hold on! Just let me think!" Said Ajax as he started to think. "Umm... Uhh...- Yeah! Yeah! You know that crime lord? Zimos Equus! He originally trafficked Dust and weapons to the Satyra! But things went south when Zimos demanded more money, they kidnapped him and they're holding him for ransom so his gang can bail him out. I hear even if the Satyra get the money, they're still gonna end him." Said Ajax everyone else entered the ring.
"And why should we help out a crime lord?" Superboy asked.
"He's the gang leader of the Zebra's, a Faunus gang of well-known illegal Dust traffickers, weapons traffickers, burglary, racketeering, illegal gambling, theft, and... Prostitution. And with everything the Satyra did to him, and having you guys rescue him, he might help you with your little problem." Said Ajax as White Tiger looked back up and back at Dwayne, Kazemon, Lowemon, Artemis and Superboy. "Look! Besides that, that's everything I know! I swear!"
"... I'm not going to force you to come with us, but I hope to see that you change your mind in the near future. For our past "Friendship"." Said White Tiger as he stepped off of Ajax and turned his back to him. Ajax laughed as he started to sit back up again.
"Heh! Yeah, right! I'll never risk my life for a bunch of filthy humans. If you actually think you stand a chance, you have to be as delusional as your daughter, and twice as stupid to take two humans on your little crusade." Said Ajax as White Tiger curled his hands into fists.
"Thanks for the info, Ajax." Said White Tiger as he immediately spun around and knocked Ajax out with one punch. "And thanks for the little reunion, buddy."
"... Very well then! Let's free a crime lord!" Dwayne said throwing his hands dramatically in the air.

Author's Note:
Hi, everyone. Hope you all enjoyed this chapter. Now, this time I have an important message to say and it's a bit of a long story. As most of you likely know, ever since my story GrimmFall was made several authors have been so inspired to make their own spin-offs and what they have brought has really been great and exciting for this mass crossover I thought of one day and just sat down to type it out. My only rule for these spin-offs has been to respect the lore and canon of the main story and everyone has respected that wish while adding their own ideas that took on their own unique spins to this entire series I have made.
Except one.
Zeroth17, author of GrimmFall: 101 and Tales of Nowhere. To properly explain what happened it starts two years ago when Zeroth first messaged me for a musical opening to one of his stories. It was called Sage of The Outer Gods, a Naruto-Cthulu Mythos crossover. I submitted a rough draft and sent it to him and he sent one he modified back to me which I gave the okay for since it was his story and the opening was his to decide with.
Of course, he never got around to updating that story or using the opening I sent him. From then on, he would send a few messages my way, sometimes to play riddle games or just trying to be casual. He then offered to send me scenes to help me with GrimmFall story which I accepted and liked a few he sent. Later on, after I posted a chapter detailing the possible of futures GrimmFall he offered to make his own spin-off.
At the time I had no reason to say no as there were already a few up and they were all good. The details he sent were interesting and it looked they could be incorporated into what I was making for GrimmFall: Entropy as part of the movie arc. I was cautious and carefully watched as the story was put up and for a while things seemed okay. There were some minor troubles when he seemed to be under the impression that we would be working on the Entropy arc together and told one or two other authors despite the fact that I never said we would be working together and did not even hint that detail which was an easy fix.
That's when the trouble started.
After the second chapter of 101 his ideas started to contradict or even ignore details of the main GrimmFall story I had set up in a manner that completely ignored the details, changed the way of the characters and some things that did not make sense at all. In fact when the second chapter came up he took what I was planning for Entropy about the time travel and used it to justify the so-called alternate reality and spoiled it right before my eyes without even telling me. That was strike one but I let that slide since I could have used it as a prologue. Only instead Zeroth wanted to make it into an entirely separate story and suggested I give it a cameo in Entropy but that couldn't be possible with what I was planning.
I argued with him on that, explaining what Entropy would be about and about how time travel couldn't simply be used to fix things or as a way to simply benefit the bad guy. I was even setting it up as a way show that it could not even stop Sammael who had taken steps to make himself immune to time alteration.
His response: He said it was his story and he could do what he want and making Sammael immune to time alteration was BS and made him too powerful.
BS? Too powerful? This whole story was crawling with powerful characters and I was going to show a justifiable reason why Sammael wouldn't be immediately bowled over by any one of a million godly beings. He even reviewed the first chapter of Entropy, having the nerve to praise it without seemingly apologizing for that remark once it shown clearly and properly.
As for him being able to do what he wants: it was a spin-off of my story, fanfiction or not. Working with someone on a series doesn't mean you simply write what you want down with no regards or respect to the canon or lore. You work to incorporate your ideas in a way that not only works but can be fun to read and enjoy. He started coming up with reasons for why they would work, all the while updating his two stories, but they started becoming more convoluted and did not make any sense as time went on.
A monster made of nuclear waste, Gem shards, Grimm matter, human and Fallen blood that is weakened by silver?
Humans that mutated into even worse monsters by feasting on the flesh of the previously mentioned monster?
I told him these made no sense and his response was: they don't have to make sense.
Only the thing is...they are supposed to make sense within the setting. Consistency is one of the key aspects of any story, yet also one of the hardest to maintain. One part of establishing it is to begin with something that makes sense instead of making things up on the fly and saying 'it doesn't need to make sense'.
Not only that but when reminded he was contradicting the lore again he argued he couldn't keep up with remembering all the chapters, even though the story was right there for him to read over if he needed help.
His response: he exploded with a bunch of insults that were out of line.
He later said that the stress of the lockdown was getting to him, but still: there was no need for that. I told him that it was best for me to not be involved anymore since it was clear we would not agree on anything. Despite that he still asked for advice and went as far as to ask me to provide him an opening like before even though I told I didn't want to be involved anymore. The first time he said he forgot because he had Asperger's that made him forget, the second time he said the same, the third time he was being 'hypothetical' and by that point I was running out of patience with him.
He later claimed they were all misunderstandings but what was there to misunderstand about 'Please don't involve me anymore'. It was clear and straight to the point. For a while there was only silence between us which gave me a chance to breath since I was working in the middle of the summer, trying to keep my job in the midst of a pandemic. Then when he updated GrimmFall: 101 he did something new that took me by surprise and really got me upset.
He took a detail I shared with him in confidence so he wouldn't contradict it and completely spoiled it, showing it on his newest chapter without asking my permission to do so. I was saving said detail for later and seeing it pop up on the screen before my eyes left me stunned. I was at work when it happened so I had no time to read it or stop him until much later but by then I had enough. I cut off contact with him on fanfiction and labelled his work non-canon on the GrimmFall wiki.
I was tempted to do more but wasn't sure if reporting to the administrator was worth it. So I informed all my fellow authors of my decision and they all seemed to respect it when I told them what happened. Zeroth would send a few apologies but he completely missed the point in the first few or tried to play down his actions by saying the lockdown was getting to him, his Asperger's made him or he was just angry.
I never told anyone this before but Zeroth's excuses forces me to say this: I was diagnosed with Asperger's when I was in college.
It made things awkward and difficult for me in my early years, I always thought differently from everyone else, never did listen well and yeah it made things difficult in school. But I worked hard through it all, I got help and in recent years found ways to work around and even cooped my Asperger's to the point that everything I felt before was gone, I changed and I became better. That is why I cannot accept Zeroth's claim of Asperger's being the reason he would not listen, misunderstood or did what he did without consulting me. I know what it's like and even then I would never have gone behind anyone's back and I certainly never did with the writers I have worked with before, I respected their decision, asked their permission and for that I was able to work great with them.
Saying Asperger's is the problem is not an excuse, it should not absolve you of your mistakes even if they are understandable and the people are not weird, strange or freaks. They are people that think a little different from us and that does not mean they need help. Sometimes thinking differently has helped them a great deal. Anyways, after I declared his work non-canon and told the others if they wanted to enjoy him continuing his work that was fine but it would not reflect on or represent the rest of GrimmFall. For the last few months that was fine, even when I saw his updates I kept a cool head and let it go simply because I didn't believe it was worth it.
And then today, I was stunned to see Zeroth had posted a new GrimmFall story...without my permission...Again.
I declared his work non-canon but that was not a greenlight for him to post new spin-offs based on MY story without my permission and even if I would have said no he had no right to go behind my back like that. So here we are now with me telling you all how this one person insulted and disrespected and spoiled my work with no regards or consideration to my wishes. So far it seems that he removed that new spin-off but this was the last straw for me and I am telling all of you this simply for the fact that what this person has been doing is wrong and so that you can have a full understanding of my reasons for reacting to his actions as I have.
Zeroth, if you are reading this then let me tell you this: it did not have to go this way. We did not have to fight, we did not have to argue, and we did not have to come to this. All I asked was simply respect my story's lore and canon. That was all. Instead you have responded belligerently and crudely, resorting to personal insults among other choice words that are not worth repeating in polite company. You say I did not give you a chance but your stories have been up for more than two years when I could have argued for them to be taken down.
I could have gone to administrators.
I could have petitioned to have you banned from the GrimmFall wiki.
I could have done a lot more than just declare your work non-canon.
But I didn't, simpy for the sake of the others who were reading your work and because I thought it didn't have to go any further.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this and I only ask for understanding and a way to get past all of this.
