At the top of the staircase, Van Kleiss stood waiting for the guards to arrive with the prisoners, along with Biowulf and Green Goblin as Vexus stepped back and observed her clawed hand with a smirk.
They all heard footsteps coming up the stairs.
"I heard one of those brats are friends with that green brat who humiliated me." Vex grinned as she changed her hand into a blaster. "I hope to have the chance to play with them for a bit to get back at that green pest."
"Just remember." Van Kleiss glanced at her. "Do not engage until I say so. Understood?"
"Yes." Vexus begrudgingly complied.
All the while, intimidating stomps and groans grew closer and louder.
BAM!
"ARG!"

"UGH!"

"ARG!"

"UGH!"
Van Kleiss stood still while Vexus took a slight step back.
BAM!
"ARG!"

BAM!

"UGH!"
Just as they were nearing the top, there was an intimidating shadow…and then it was revealed to be Keanu being carried on the back of a few Red Cap members who then dumped him on the floor.
"Oh man, thanks for carrying me up the last few stairs." Keanu groaned as Artemis nudged him off the ground with her shoulder. "I might have thrown up a little bit on the fourth floor…Do you guys have an evil janitor or something like that?"
While Keanu was still feeling a little queasy a guard poked Artemis with his gun and the archer simple kicked the gun out of his hand.
Van Kleiss cleared his throat. "Greetings, so called Hunters. And I see to some of you, we meet ag-"
"Yeah, hey there." Scotty said, annoyed by the villain making his grandiose speech.
"…Hey." Van Kleiss said awkwardly as the group moved forward a few steps before stopping and then they were all forced onto their knees before him. "Did you really believe you could break into my fortress and not get caught?"
"Well, we had to do something. Turns out people don't like getting abducted." Scotty retorted. "And we know who you have been working with."
"Hmm…" Van Kleiss hummed and grinned. "Do you?"
Scotty's claymore was presented to him by Pardus and he took it. "Let me guess, you planned on infiltrating my fortress and then once you were inside, you would use this sword to create a portal to summon reinforcements. A bold plan and certainly one I would have tried but you will find we are not so defenseless."
"So these are the ones trying to oppose you?" Vexus asked as she walked up beside Van Kleiss and smirked wildly as she scanned the group. They look pretty pathetic and even more stupid than I thought if they could just break in here."
She looked them over and frowned. "You said one of them was close friends with the green one who beat me. Where is she?"
"Yes." Van Kleiss frowned slightly. "Where is she? I would have thought she would be with you."
"Who are you talking about?" Keanu shrugged. "I ain't seen no girl in a blue cloak along with a super strong guy, a green skinned teenager from Mars and the idiot in the red mask."
"So, they are here." Van Kleiss said simply while the captured hunters glared at Keanu for opening his big mouth. "No doubt trying to infiltrate this fortress in another way. I know the Raven girl is capable of conjuring a form of energy that allows her to pass through solid objects. No doubt you split up to make sure not all of you were captured."
"Yeah, that's pretty much it." Keanu shrugged.
"Will you shut up?!" Scotty barked.
"What? There's no point in keeping quiet. He's got us figured out." Keanu reasoned. "Might as well sing like a canary before he shoots us."
"Speaking off…" Vexus grinned as her arms split into dozens of blasters, aimed at the hunters. "I think you should know, I have been 'Upgrade' with an technological symbiont that has upgraded my already formidable form to the point I am the entire Cluster Empire all merged into one. I have even been upgraded with the knowledge of over a dozen realities and their technologies. This is one of my favorites.
One of the blasters morphed into an advanced yet alien looking weapon and she aimed the barrel at Scotty's head.
"Do please leave one of them alive for me to test my Mayhem on." Goblin said, holding his double bladed sword. "I can tell it hungers for blood."
"I am told this is a particle cannon, a gift from those Abductor aliens Van Kleiss made a pact with." Vexus stated while Scotty merely looked at her and growled.
"Do your worst…"
"With pleasure." She pulled the trigger.
The rest of the captured Hunters were about to look away when a blast of white light appeared from underneath Scotty, protecting him the particle blast that moved at 2/3 the speed of light.
"What?!" Vexus gaped from her particle beam was blocked.
From the shadows of the bound hunters, appeared Raven in her white cloak and leotard, followed by Superboy, X and Miss Martian. The Martian made the first move, her telekinesis breaking the cuffs on the others as Superboy rushed forward and slammed his fist into Biowulf as he tried to stop them from getting up.
Scotty grabbed his sword and slashed through the air, making a portal and from it came Li and Forneus and slashed another portal into existence, allowing Spider-Man to swing out and latch onto the wall.
Goblin's eyes widened and then narrowed. "Peter…"
Spider-Man stopped as he looked upon the new body of the Green Goblin, but still recognized him all the same. "Goblin."
"How fortuitous." The Green Goblin grinned as he stepped forward. "I thought I would have to wait until I returned to my world to have my revenge on you. Instead you came all the here, to me. Because I am your end."
"If you're here than Mary Jane has to be here." Spider-Man stated, his narrowing under his mask. "Where is she?"
"Maybe she is, maybe she's not." The Goblin grinned as he held out his Mayhem which began to glow with a black and blood red aura. "How fitting it is that the first person for my Mayhem to taste blood…is you!"
With that said, he charged right at Spider-Man with a roar, swinging his Mayhem at the Wall-Crawler's head. Spider-Man ducked, noting how dangerous the sword felt and jumped back, sticking to the wall and crawling up it as he looked down at the sword. The hero's Spider-Sense was screaming 'DANGER!' to him, letting him know that was not an ordinary sword.
"Osborn, what is that sword?" The spider-themed hero asked.
"This." Goblin grinned as he held up his Mayhem. "Being in the employment of Van Kleiss has afforded me some advantages, such as access to powerful weapons. This one was forged from the Muramasa swords of Japan and the Tyrfing blade, merged together and even fusing their curses. The hellfire of Muramasa along with its ability to cut through anything or anyone and the power of the Tyrfing that can control and manipulate weather much like a certain God of Thunder. Allow me to show you!"
Red flames and electricity danced around the sword as he swung it, releasing a mighty blast of red lightning at Spider-Man who barely managed to swing out of the way. However a blast of wind slammed him into the wall.
"DIE PETER PARKER!" The Goblin shouted, moving to impale his sword through Spider-Man's chest…
Only for Scotty Blake to get in the way.
When Scotty's claymore collided with Mayhem it didn't break.
It was not cut.
It did not burn.
It glowed and held the evil sword back.
The Green Goblin's eyes widened in complete shock to see Scotty's sword emitting a purifying bright blue glow that clashed with the hellish energy of Mayhem.
"Impossible!" The Goblin grunted as he struggled against Scotty now. "Your sword should have been cut in half and you along with it!"
Scotty grinned as the Celtic runes appeared on his sword. "Celtic magic, you ugly green excuse of a hob-goblin!"
"It's GREEN GOBLIN!" The Goblin roared as he shoved Scotty back.
He was ready to slash his sword at Scotty again but the Scotsman reared his machine leg back and fired a burst of Gravity Dust that propelled him forward at such high speed it created a sonic boom. He slammed into the Green Goblin and both shot forward in the wall, crashing through it and several more.
CRASH!
CRASH!
CRASH!
But it didn't stop there.
Scotty grabbed Green Goblin and fired his machine leg again, propelling them both through more walls.
CRASH!
CRASH!
CRASH!
Scotty then smashed the Green Goblin into the ground but kept running, dragging the Goblin with him which caused the villains to scrap against the cold steel floor all the while punching him repeatedly in the face.
The Goblin let out a scream as he slammed his Mayhem into the ground.
BOOM!
Scotty was thrown back and the ceiling collapsed on both of them, burying in rubble.
"Whoa!" Spider-Man remarked, having followed them.
Luckily it didn't take long for the two tanks to burst out from the rubble, with the Goblin chuckling as he brushed the dirt off him. "You actually hurt me despite my considerable strength thanks to Van Kleiss…Impressive."
Scotty rolled his shoulders. "Trust me, Gobby. I ain't got started yet." He pulled his sword back out which glowed bright.
"If you wanted to die…You could have just asked nicely." The Green Goblin said as he pulled Mayhem out of the rubble with the evil weapon surging with reddish electricity and flames.
Scotty only stood his ground as Spider-Man landed next to him.
"Osborn, this is crazy. Why are you even working with them? They'll kill everyone in this world and move on to the others, maybe even ours. Do you want Harry to die?" The web-themed hero asked, trying to appeal to whatever humanity was left in the Goblin.
The Green Goblin hesitated before growling. "There is no more Osborn! There is only the Green Goblin and our world and this, are all nothing dust to me!"
With that, the Green Goblin roared and charged into battle once more. Scotty raised his own blade and the two collided in the beginning of a spectacular battle.

As soon as Scotty and the Green Goblin smashed their way Vexus aimed her blasters at the intruders again as a fight broke out, only for Superboy to jump at her, slamming his fist into her blaster before she could fire, damaging it badly.
Vexus grunted as her blast morphed back into a hand. "Organic filth!"
Superboy tried to punch her again but she grabbed his fist and clenched down on it. Superboy grunted and tried his other fist which Vexus grabbed as well. Despite his own considerable strength, Vexus was by no means weak against him. Both were struggling now with Vexus managing to get back up onto her feet.
"I've read on your kind Kryptonian." Vexus snarled. "All your power and science and yet you were still helpless as your own planet exploded. Only organics would be too weak to not notice their own demise right underneath them."
Superboy grunted as he contended with the mad robot. "I wasn't born when that happened so their mistakes are not mine. The only thing that matters to me is stopping you and your boss!"
"Then die like all the heroes!" Vexus snapped as two extra arms sprouted from her normal ones, ready to grab Superboy while she held him down.
"Dog pile!"
Suddenly, X and his two X clones slammed into Vexus behind her with the original covering her eyes, distracting her long enough to for Superboy to break free.
"Get back!" Superboy shouted, rearing his fist back.
X dismissed his clones and jumped off Vexus, leaving her open to a direct punch in the face from Superboy.
POW!
CRASH!
Like Goblin and Scotty, Vexus was sent flying back by Superboy's fist and crashed through the wall.
Van Kleiss frowned as he stepped back, looking directly at Raven. "So you were hiding in their shadows all along."
Raven floated down, glaring directly at the man who kidnapped her and her friends. "Remember me?"
"Indeed I do." Van Kleiss said as he held up his gauntlet which emitted a golden glow and a matching one surrounded Raven. "And you are not the only one who has changed."
However, Raven's eyes along with her chakra gem glowed with a purifying, white light that allowed her to break free of the golden sphere before Van Kleiss could do anything else. "The only question is which of us is now stronger than the other?"
Van Kleiss took another step back, seeing Raven had complete negated his own energy. Magic was always an obstacle to him since he couldn't properly scan her like he has done with so many others. With that said, Raven fired a blast of purifying light at Van Kleiss who created a golden barrier, grunting as the blast sent him flying back but his barrier managed to hold out.
"It seems I must make proper countermeasures." Van Kleiss muttered before phasing into the wall.
Keanu grunted as he sheathed his sword. "Figures he'd run."
BAM!
Everyone jumped as the doors were knocked down by a large metallic fist, connected to a certain young teen. With him was Agent Six, along with a boy in a school uniform consisting of a dark blue blazer with a white shirt and dark blue pants. On his left arm was a golden fingerless glove that went up to his elbow and had a matching tablet on it. With him was a robot with what looked like missile launcher atop its head like a beetle's antenna.
It had a silver mouth piece and a black optical visor with green optics. Its chest plate was silver and white and its arms were silver at the bottom and gold on the forearms with smaller cannons built in over the hands. It had golden square shaped shoulder pads and what looked like four white claw parts extending from them with black extensions on the back of them. The waist was colored silver and white with what looked like a lower stomach guard outlined in gold with a white interior.
It circled around from the hips, seemingly to protect them but not by much from the looks of it. Its upper legs were silver while the lower ones were covered in golden boxy shaped armor while the rear of the lower legs were what looked to be like tank treads. The feet were colored silver and white with a black toe on either side and the hands were silver as well. The right arm had what looked like a revolver drum coming from it partly while the left arm had what looked like six exhaust ports, three per side, on it.
All the weapon launchers were back with red accents on the lower legs and back shoulder guard extensions and more weapons stood out. There were even smaller 'tubes' on the hem, complete with red accents as well.
They looked to be some sort of transmission antenna.
"Where's Van Kleiss?" Rex Salazar asked.
