"Beloved parents. Even though it is illogical that I should be writing this, considering that you are…But I feel compelled to write nonetheless. If things were better than by the time you would be reading this, I would be long–far–oh dear." Edd stopped and picked up the note, folded it, and put it in the trash along with many other failed attempts before starting again. "Dearest Mother and Father. It is with great sh-shame..."
Double D put down his pen and began to cry.
Pulling himself together he tried again. "That I regretfully con-fess...to..."
Tears started to leak out.
"I regretfully confess to my involvement in the inexcusable, unconscionable, reprehensible, abhorrent, detrimental, detestable, immoral, thoughtless, hurtful–" Double D's writing became jagged, as he stopped when it became too much. "Oh, what have we done!? GGGGAAAAAAAHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Double D gave in and burst into tears.
It was not your fault.
"Like the none-existent Nightosphere it wasn't my fault!" Double D shouted, throwing the paper and pencil aside. "I accepted the so-called contest, all because of my excitement to restore my hair and heal my scars! I fell for those lies and let my parents suffer for my mistakes!"
You were not the only one to suffer. Countless others have been deceived by Bill Cipher and suffered worse fate.
"Is that supposed to comfort me?!" Double D walked over the edge of the building he stood on, staring down at the city with many lights that up the night sky. "To know others out there have suffered my pain?!"
It was not. It was fact.
"And the fact is my parents are dead!" Double D shouted, glaring down at the device on his chest. "If it wasn't for you and your creator, I wouldn't have been caught up in this mad scheme and my parents would still be alive!"
Bill Cipher tricked you and my creator who tried to decommission me. I removed the mental programming that he had placed in you. If I hadn't you'd have helped him and likely you would have been dead with your parents.
"Oh really?! And you want me to say 'thank you'?! Is that it?! Am I supposed to feel gratitude for being the only one to come out of this mess alive?!" Double D yelled with tears slipping down his angry face. "Well?!"
I want nothing from you, Eddward. Only your help in stopping Cipher before he comes to Earth. If he does, your parents will not be the only ones who died because of him. Countless more will die and they will die in greater agony than your parents did and beyond what you could even imagine.
Double D gritted his teeth, letting out a low growl before he turned away from the edge of the building. "FINE! I'VE HAD ENOUGH! I've had enough of everything! Activate the armor!"
And what is your intention?
"I'm returning to Gravity Falls to find and make Cipher and everyone who has sworn allegiance to him pay for EVERYTHING they've done!"
…
Very well.
The suit that was Armatae's armor mode appeared around Double D and he instantly shot up into the sky, heading back towards Gravity Falls.

"Porkchop slow down! We still got time to make it!" The mechanic member of the racing team known as the Metal Maniacs, Mitchell McClurg, AKA 'Monkey' cried out to his buddy Porkchop steering the Sweeper through the desert.
"I'm not missing this chance of a lifetime, Monkey Man!" The large muscled member of the team, Deezel Riggs, preferably "Porkchop" who was driving like there was no tomorrow with the battle in Nowhere about to start. "Them Silencerz better not pull our chains of getting new cars and them drones, or they'll wish they didn't mess with us Maniacs!"
Porkchop had to focus on his driving when having to figure out how the gears work. "Soon as the battle's over, I'm gonna give this baby a full make over to fit our style."
"And hope those new cars they promised us will be enough to convince they're not our enemies." Monkey stated. "But couldn't you guys drop me off? I mean I would have helped fix this ride up and-BUS!"
"Uh? What bus? I don't see any-" Porkchop had no idea what he meant when suddenly a school bus came out of nowhere and drove towards them. "WHOA!" He turned the wheel to the side to get out of the way but suddenly the school bus vanished right before their eyes and pulled the breaks.
Neither of them had no idea what just happened, or where the bus went they stopped the Sweeper to see where it went.
"Did you just saw that?" Monkey asked if he was starting to lose it.
"Uhh… yeah?" Even Porkchop seemed confused. "Where'd it go?"
Karma came up to check on them after they suddenly pulled over and asked them. "Hey, what just happened?"
The two looked at each other than back at the brunette to give an answer.
"A Boarbatusk/cow."
Karma raised an eyebrow and confused.
"Uhh, well we thought it was a Cow." Monkey stuttered to explain.
"Y-Yeah, but then it was just a Boarbatusk." Porkchop said. "Nothing to worry about."
She seemed to accept their excuse and shook her head softly. "Just be careful next time, if that was a Grimm it could mean we're getting close. We'll take over if you get tired."
"Sure."
The two sighed in relief and not sure what happened of if there really was a school bus or if they just imagined it.
"We agree to never speak of this again." Monkey suggested.
"Damn right."

"Status report."
Van Kleiss stepped onto the command deck of his fortress, having just fled a confrontation with the intruders. While some thought he was a coward for fleeing, Van Kleiss knew that he needed to regain control of the situation by first analyzing and assessing the situation before charging into back into battle.
"The intruders have engaged the guards in the lower floors. The Green Goblin and Vexus are engaging them." An officer reported from one of the stations.
"Where are the others?"
"Scaramouche, Chuck Hector, Hidekazu and Robitaille have yet to return from disabling the barrier around the fortress. Our forces are still scattered from the flood, the music and the locust attack." The officer reported.
"Get into contact with each and every one of them. I want one or two of them stationed on each floor, ready to engage the intruders at a moment's notice." Van Kleiss ordered.
"Yes sir."
"And where is Valerie?" Van Kleiss suddenly asked.
"Still hunting that spirit as you ordered, sir."
"Good. I want that roaming vapor hunted down and exterminated before anything else suddenly comes our way." Van Kleiss nodded. "Anything else?"
"Yes sir, the Grimm army."
Van Kleiss turned and looked at the man screen as a map of the country was brought up. "What about it?"
"The advance force has crossed through Wilds, specifically Monkey Mountain and Foothills, the Upper Catacombs, the Forgotten Falls, the Lower Catacombs and is coming up on the Really Twisted Forest and Area 51.1."
That would only leave them a few days before the army arrives in Nowhere.
Sammael was taking his time but he obviously wanted to be holding all of his cards when he arrived.
"Status of the fusion cannons." Van Kleiss then spoke.
"Still charging sir."
"Can they hit the army from here?" Van Kleiss asked.
"No sir. The energy would disperse down to twenty percent and that would only destroy the advanced force."
So not enough to destroy the army but maybe cripple them…
No, Sammael would have accounted for that.
"Keep them charging. How close will they have to be for an effective shot?" Van Kleiss spoke, a plan forming in his mind.
"Just when the army is entering Nowhere, sir."
So it would be close.
"Keep the cannons charging but target the Grimm army. As soon as they cross the border in Nowhere, fire. And make sure to keep an active update on their movements and numbers." Van Kleiss ordered. "In fact, I want an active scan of all of Nowhere, around the clock. It's likely Sammael has much more in store for us."
"Yes sir."
If Sammael was going to play hardball then Van Kleiss would be happy to oblige.

CLANG!
Scotty grunted as he and the Green Goblin clashed their blades which both emitted bright and terrifying glowing auras that engulfed both of them.
"Impressive." The Green Goblin cackled as they clashed. "Two magical swords pitted against each other. What a marvelous world you live in."
Scotty grunted but said nothing as he shoved the Goblin back. Goblin plunged his sword into the floor, halting his slide back.
"My sword, Mayhem has been forged to kill heroes." The goblin themed villain cackled. "It hungers for blood."
He grinned when he spotted Spider-Man crawling on the ceiling of the hallway.
"I am hoping you are willing to give the first blood, Peter." He called out, holding out his Mayhem as it crackled with red lightning.
"Osborn, you have to stop this! What about Harry? What about your son?" Spider-Man called out. "Don't you want to save him too?"
"Ha! So he failed against you as well." The Green Goblin cackled. "I should have expected as much. He was always so weak. Weak like you, Peter. Couldn't save dear Mary Jane."
"Shut it, you!" Scotty barked and charged at the Goblin.
"No wait!" Spider-Man called out to the Scotsman but was ignored.
The two started to slash at each other again, each blow being blocked by the other as they started swinging their swords even faster than the speed of sound. However Scotty was more skilled as shown when got in a few good punches and kicks that shattered the Goblin's jaw, fractured his skull and kicked him in the chest so hard, the majority of his ribs shattered and sent him crashing into a wall.
"Wait, that's enough!" Spider-Man called out, landing in front of the Scotsman. "He's down now. Let's take him in."
"Do I look like a cop? And do we have time for this?" Scotty barked.
"He's my best friend's father. I can't let him die." Spider-Man argued.
"Peter, Peter, Peter…" Both turned around to see Goblin stand up, spitting out a tooth that instantly grew back while the rest of his injuries began to heal so fast. "Don't you understand? This is not a simple world where the hero catches the villain."
He looked up at them with a demented grin. "This is a world of monsters and gods! Look upon me, Peter Parker and see just what I have become. I am more than a man now; I'm more than even the Green Goblin."
He lunged forward; slashing his sword at Spider-Man but Scotty pulled the web-themed hero back and blocked the slash.
"You still fight for the weak! That is why you lose!" Goblin cackled as the two crossed blades again. "Gods don't fight for the weak! We take!"
Scotty still had the upper hand in their fight due to his skills and experience but with Gobin's ability to regenerate his wounds thank to the nanites injected into him by Van Kleiss, it was clear that the Green Goblin was strong enough to not only fight back but also slowly gain the upper hand.
POW!
Until Scotty used his Semblance to punch Goblin in the face and send him flying down the hallway.
SLAM!
The Goblin grunted as he slammed into a wall and slid down a second later. He slowly got back up and glared at Scotty and Spider-Man as the two slowly approached him.
"Stand down, Osborn." Spider-Man said, lashing out with his web shooters, trying to pin the Goblin down.
The Goblin simply grunted and ripped through the web like they were tissue paper. "Or what, Peter? Will you actually kill me?"
"No. I am not going to kill you. I am taking you back to my world. I am bringing Mary Jane and Harry's father home." Spider-Man answered.
The Goblin cackled as his sword glowed again. "You never learn, Peter. Strong enough to have everything you want…Too weak to take it!"
He swung his sword, releasing a blast red lightning at the pair. Scotty plunged his sword into the ground, creating a barrier that blocked the blast.
"I wonder if you can hold onto your convictions when you see what is really happening here, Peter." The voice of the Goblin cackled down the hallway as he fled. "Will you still want to bring dear weak Osborn back?"
Spider-Man and Scotty both stood up as the barrier protecting him dissipated and Scotty scoffed. "He fled."
"We got to go after him." Spider-Man said.
"Nope." Scotty put his sword back in its sheath. "We regroup with the others and come up with a plan. I ain't risking our lives so you can try playing hero with a loony."
Spider-Man turned around, watching as Scotty headed back to the room where the others were fighting and glanced back down the hall the Goblin had fled.
Sighing, he turned and followed after Scotty.

"Where's Van Kleiss?"
Ikki had seen some weird things in his life, but seeing the teenager in front of him, Metabee, and Agent Six turn his hand metallic and large to punch through the wall was disconcerting to say the least.
Metabee blinked as he looked around. "What happened here? Was there some kind of a fight?"
Ikki gave Metabee a deadpan look. "Really, dim-bot?"
Metabee gave Ikki a sheepish grin before Rex looked back at the two of them. "You arrived in Van Kleiss's lair?"
"Yeah, and golden arm dude wanted to keep us here, but we busted out before he could get his hands on us." Metabee replied.
"Which I'm glad he didn't." Ikki finished, shuddering.
The big, red-haired man with the submachine gun leg blinked at seeing the foursome. "Aye, ye be looking for that bloke?"
Rex frowned. "Yes..." He said with a glare.
"He sadly escaped." The dark-blue haired girl sighed.
Metabee frowned at hearing that. "I don't like hearing that..."
Ikki looked at his Sync Partner. "Neither do I. We don't know anything about this guy, but still..." He trailed off.
Metabee glanced around again, his sensors on high alert. He didn't trust that golden-armed man to have left the area, but his sensors were picking up nothing out of the ordinary. "I'm not picking up this Van Kleiss guy anywhere on my radar or other sensors, at least in the area around us."
"The bloke phased into the wall and fled." The big, red-haired man grunted.
"Wait... seriously?!" Ikki gasped, suddenly looking all around them nervously.
Metabee saw Ikki looking nervous and made his way over to him. "Calm down. This guy won't be able to get the jump on us so easily."
"Says the one with military grade sensors." Ikki grumbled, but he did stop glancing around the area gave a huff. "You knew my current frame was military grade when you inserted my Medal, so why are you complaining?"
Ikki rolled his eyes, but didn't protest.
However, before Ikki could say anything else, he tensed as a sixth sense picked up danger.
Metabee saw a robot incoming towards his Meda-fighter and lunged in to combat. "Hey, four-arms! Wanna fight someone?! Fight me!" He exclaimed as he got in front of the robot, which was female in build.
The female-build robot turned to face Metabee. "Oh? So you want to protect the human who has you in bondage? How sad."
Metabee felt his familiar tic act up, but he forced it down before he retracted his faceplate, revealing his mouth, which was grinning. "You do realize what you said was kinky, right?" He joked, making the other robot look confused.
"'Kinky'?" She asked as Metabee snickered.
"Yeah, you know, when two humans love each other and stuff?" Metabee quipped.
The female-build robot became even more confused, which made Metabee smirk again. He slammed his face plate back on over his mouth before he activated his treads and sped at the female robot. He adjusted his path before he slammed into her with his shoulder, knocking her away from Ikki. "Sorry, but no one messes with my friend." Metabee said seriously.
"You will regret messing with me, Vexus of the Cluster!" The female robot, Vexus, snarked as she got back to her feet.
She activated her blasters, aiming to shoot Metabee enough to knock him down. Metabee grunted as he threw up his arms to defend himself. He took a few steps back, but he remained standing his ground otherwise. Vexus, seeing this, cut her attack and ran at the KBT-3M Medabot, intent on removing his power source to make sure he would become a loyal member of the Cluster.
Metabee saw her coming at him and dodged to the side, rolling twice before getting to his feet.
Vexus was on him as soon as he was standing again, and Metabee was forced to block her as he hands grasped his. Her other arms emerged to grab him, but Metabee was one step ahead of her. He smirked as he activated his treads again. "Say goodnight~!" He taunted before he fired off his Seeker Missiles at Vexus, point blank.
BOOM!
The explosion blew the two robots apart from each other, or rather, it blew Vexus away from Metabee, who used his treads to get clear of the blast zone. Vexus had been blown through another wall, making another hole.
"You okay, Ik?" Metabee asked as Ikki nodded.
"Yeah, thanks." Ikki said in relief.
However, their relief was cut short as Vexus pushed herself out of the rubble, her armor dinged but still intact. "You will pay for that!" she hissed.
"Bring it, ladybug!" Metabee growled, turning back to face her. His optics narrowed as he clenched his fists.
"You shall regret comparing me to a measley organic!" the female robot snapped.
She held out her four arms, deploying all her blasters. Her metallic lips curled into a sneer as she let loose with a withering barrage of firepower, right for the smaller mech. Metabee raised both arms and aimed his own guns in retaliation. "EAT LASER!" he roared.
The two guns on his arms let loose their own fury, the two salvos canceling each other out. Vexus smirked as she shifted, her lower arms suddenly rising up a bit higher and aiming for Ikki. The boy's eyes narrowed as he looked to his brother. "Metabee!"
"I see it!" the KBT-3M exclaimed.
He shifted his stance and aimed his guns for Vexus' lower arms and firing again, this time aiming for her shoulder joints. She couldn't counter this barrage and they got hit, shorting out the alien's sub arms. Vexus' optics flickered as she snarled. "Do you really think you can defeat me?" she rumbled.
"Oh, you have no idea, lady!" Metabee remarked.
Vexus didn't even waste any time targeting the two brothers. Her wings snapped open and she lunged, her guns firing as she weaved and dodged Metabee's fire. The KBT-3M looked up, and his optics narrowed. "Oh... nasty trick," he muttered, a sweat drop running down his helmet.
Vexus cackled as she dove down on them from KBT-3M glanced up, his optics widening. "Oh, shit...!" he swore softly.
"Metabee! Get ready!" Ikki shouted. He held up his Me-Gauntlet, brandishing it. He reached into his pocket and the Medabot instantly grasped what his friend was going to do. He pulled out his ID card and held it off to the side before he swiped it through the card slot on his gauntlet. "INVOKE! SYSTEM RELEASE!" The screen flashed as it registered his ID card before displaying the words LIMITER RELEASE on it.
Metabee's optics flashed as he clenched his fists, feeling the limiter release overcome him and his systems went to full battle mode. He looked up, his optics narrowing as he tensed his frame and sprang off the ground, his fist flying for Vexus' cheek. She gasped before his blow hit her and sent her flying back, but due to her wings she was able to right herself and she snarled as she rubbed her face, spitting a bit of oil out of her mouth. "Insolent brat!" she hissed.
"Try me!" the Medabot growled.
He aimed his right arm at her and within moments, his revolver was firing. The bullets streaked out, hitting her in the chest and catching her off guard. Vexus gritted her teeth as she pulled her wings in front of her and landed, using them as shields as she started to walk forward, her blasters raised to return fire. During this time, Ikki glanced around, his eyes darting left and right as he sought out a means to give the group an edge somehow. Metabee's grunt caught him off guard as he looked up, and his eyes widened as he saw that Vexus had shifted her two upper blasters into a single saw blade, aiming it right for his brother/Medabot.
"METABEE!" Ikki screamed. "INCOMING!"
The KBT-3M heard his brother's voice and he perked up as a loud whining cut through the air. He glanced up, and his optics widened in shock as he brought both arms up and caught the female robot's upper pair of arms, struggling against her enhanced strength, even with his limiter released. His frame groaned as he pushed his joints and hydraulics to their limit, his optics narrowing.
"Geez, lady! You got some real anger issues!" he grunted.
And that was saying something given his temper. But Vexus wasn't down just yet. She drew back her left leg and lashed out, kicking the Medabot in the chest and sending him sprawling. The enhanced Queen of the Cluster leapt into the air, her saw whirring as she cackled.
Metabee gritted his teeth behind his faceplate as he rolled to the side, Vexus' saw driving itself into the floor. Growling, the robot retracted her saw into her hands and lunged, all four arms extended out to grab him. But Metabee was faster, reacting by lashing out in a punch that stunned her and he took the chance to aim his missile launchers at her. The KBT-3M Medabot didn't even hesitate. "Seeker Missile!"
Two warheads emerged from his launcher, their targeting systems locking onto Vexus' heat signature. Her optics widened as she moved her wings to deflect them, only for a large explosion to erupt upon contact with them. The shockwave blew smoke and dust everywhere, and Ikki narrowed his eyes against the gust of air. He could already see that Vexus was tough, and he suspected she was not down yet.
But when the smoke cleared, she stood there before them, her wings mostly destroyed from Metabee's Seeker Missiles. Her upper arms were also damaged while her lower arms remained functional.
Ikki gritted his teeth as he clenched his fists, focusing on his friend/brother, feeling the synchronization rate between them rising. Behind Metabee, his medal hatch began to glow, that glowing aura starting to seethe over them. Much to the surprise of the group - save for Rex and Six - they watched in shock as Ikki's left iris actually changed color, becoming a startling green color in contrast to his right eye, which remained the same color as it always had been. Although the aura seethed over them, Ikki wasn't about to let their synchronization go any higher than it already was.
Vexus, for her part was thrown off by this sudden change. "What in the name of the Cluster?!" she shouted.
"You're really in for it now, lady!" Metabee sneered. "Because you are facing down both of us!"
Ikki nodded as he looked at her directly. "And we're not about to give up!" he remarked.
The Queen of the Cluster lunged, her lower arms shifting to show their blasters again. A screech escaped her, and Metabee glanced back over his shoulder to Ikki. His Meda-Fighter nodded once.
This was going to be her defeat.
Metabee aimed his guns at her as she came in hard, firing her own blasters. But rather than a salvo... Metabee's guns began to glow with pure power.
Six recognized this attack, as did Rex. But much to the young EVO's surprise, it was not as strong as it had been when they had last used it on the Butts. Instead, it was less powerful, but still formidable nonetheless as the two unleashed their ace-in-the-hole. "EAT THIS!" both roared as one.
The golden beam struck the Cluster Queen as she gasped in shock. But unlike before, it didn't vaporize her. Instead, it only threw her back with its sheer force. The explosion on impact with the wall caused her to be blown through it, this time knocked into stasis from the impact her head made with the floor in the room on the other side.
The glowing aura surrounding the two vanished, and at once Ikki collapsed to his hands and knees, panting as his brother fell to his own hands and knees, exhaustion starting to creep up on the two. But they were still conscious, which was a huge relief to them.
The big, red-haired man came over and looked Metabee up and down. "Ye are strong for someone so small."
"Oi! I ain't small!" Metabee snapped from his position on the floor.
The big human let out a guffaw at Metabee's reaction. "Aye, quick temper ye got there!"
"Don't remind me... I have to deal with this dim-bot's antics every day." Ikki grumbled, but there was no malice in it.
Metabee looked around at everyone assembled. "So... who are you guys?"
"Scotty Blake." The big red-haired man introduced.
"Raven." The blue-haired girl said.
"Spider Man." The web-costume wearing hero introduced.
"Miss Martian." The alien girl replied.
"X." The clone-user said.
"Superboy." The black-haired teenager introduced.
"Keanu." One of the others said.
"Artemis." The bow-wielder finished.
Metabee looked at Ikki, who blinked, surprised that several heroes from their home universe were actually real. "Well, looks like there are other universes out there, Ik."
"Yeah, and some of them are home to heroes that are just fiction in our universe..." Ikki agreed.
Scotty raised an eyebrow. "Ye both are not from here?"
"Don't ask us how, but I think we just got roped into something big by sheer accident." Ikki grumbled.
"And we have enough to worry about already, what with three of our friends missing and all that." Metabee added as he managed to get to his feet, Ikki doing the same thing a few seconds later.
"But where is Van Kleiss?" Rex asked. "He couldn't have just fled his lair."
Metabee frowned as he looked around. "I'm not picking him up on my radar." He said, unsure of what to expect now.
Rex stepped forward. "My name is Rex Salazar. You might fight this hard to believe but-"
"Not from this world? Yeah, we're all caught up by now." Keanu interrupted.
"Actually, I was going to say Van Kleiss came from our world." Rex said, gesturing to himself and Agent Six. "We were sent to bring him back before he caused another catastrophe."
"Like releasing nanites into every corner of reality?" Rino mentioned.
This caused Rex and Six to look at the former thief. "Come again?"
"Miss Martian here updated us on his plans." Extor gestured to Miss Martian who waved a hand. "He's going to use his portal device to release a nanite virus into every existing reality through something called Earth Prime which is likely the prime reality that spawned all other realities."
"Say what?!" Ikki, Metabee and Rex exclaimed in pure shock.
"Yeah, that was our reaction." Keanu nodded.
"So we're here to stop him, like I think you guys are." Scotty stated, to which Metabee, Ikki, Rex and Six all nodded to. "Okay, glad we're all on the same side. So now we need a plan."
"What's the plan? We're inside his fortress. Let's just blow it up." Keanu suggested.
"You have clearly forgotten that Van Kleiss is likely keeping prisoners here as well. We need to get them out before we destroy the fortress as well as make sure Van Kleiss cannot simply rebuild and start all over again." Extor pointed out.
"So we multi-task." Baron suggested.
"I got a good look at the tower where those cannons are being stored. It is likely the main room for the core of those ion cannons is on the very top floor along with the portal machine." Extor reasoned. "Both would need to be near a great source of power. If I can hack into the computer's themselves that's keeping the delicate ionic flow in check, I can disrupt that and it will cause a massive explosion that will take the tower with it."
"And where they would be keeping prisoners?" Li asked.
"We were kept underground when we came here." Artemis stated, gesturing to herself, Superboy and Raven.
"Likely on the lower levels, then." Forneus nodded.
"Okay, so we split up into groups." Scotty suggested, turning to Team BATL. "You guys will go down to the tower's lower levels and rescue any innocent trapped people down there before we blow this place to kingdom come."
"I believe we can do that." Samedi said and Tiburon nodded in agreement along with Li and Forneus.
"I'd like to come along." Spider-Man cut in. "I think a friend of mine might be down there."
"More power to us." Samedi nodded.
Scotty turned Raven, Artemis, Superboy and Miss Martian. "You four, go and find the portal machine to secure it. It's your best chance to get home."
"Sounds like a job for us." Superboy slammed his fists together.
Scotty then looked at Rex, Six, Ikki and Metabee. "I reckon you guys might want a shot at Van Kleiss."
"You are sending us to take him on?" Agent Six asked.
"If you guys specialize in nanites and robots, you might be the ones with the best chance to stop him." Extor nodded.
"Yeah, I can shut down his nanites." Rex nodded.
"Good and we'll need a distraction." Scotty nodded. "I suppose Van Kleiss will be held up in the most secure location here."
"The command center." Extor spoke up. "It'll likely be on be on one of the top floors, high enough to give him a perfect view of the surrounding area but possibly right below the ion core."
"So we storm that command center and take him out!" Metabee said, bringing a fist to a palm. "Sounds like my kind of plan."
Rex smiled as he glanced at Metabee. "I think you and I are going to get along great."
"Me and my team will head to the Ion core on the top floor itself and we'll alert you when to leave the building twenty minutes before its set to blow." Scotty finished.
"We still need a layout of the building-"
Extor pulled out his tablet and plugged into a wall socket, taking a few moments. "All right, I'm messaging those of you who have a Tablet a map of the tower."
Those that did have Tablets pulled them out and looked at them.
"So, are you all satisfied with the plan? I like standing around as much as the next guy but we better get moving before more freaks show up." Scotty suggested, to which everyone nodded in agreement.

In an almost vacant laboratory in Van Kleiss' fortress, a large chunk of Dust that resembled the appearance of white and red barite crystal cluster was sitting on top of some sort of machine. As the machine's interior gears and mechanics were moving around and processing the Dust into another form. At the bottom of the machine a clear container is attached to it as there was only 1/5th of the containers maximum capacity was full of a bright red liquid.
A single red drop of red fell into the container…
Tassin looked through the clear container with an impatient look as he saw another red drop fall into the liquid.
"GRRRR! MOVE IT!" Tassin growled as only another drop fell into the liquid.
"How is it even possible that Dust that gives you the power to move at light speed takes even longer to liquefy then regular Dust!?" Tassin yelled as another drop fell into the red liquid.
Tassin just growled as he stood back up as he looked away and waited.
After a few more seconds…
BEEP!
BEEP!
BEEP!
BEEP!
BEEP!
BEEP!
BEEP!
BEEP!
BEEP!
Tassin looked back at the clear container as the liquidation was finally complete. He disconnected the container from the machine as he held it up to his face, only to see a small amount of the bright red liquid there.
"A complete chunk of acceleration Dust, and THIS is all I get!" Tassin yelled, looking back at the liquefied Dust as he growled at it some more. "There's only enough here for two douses! Maybe three if I'm lucky!"
But as Tassin was yelling to himself again, the communicator in his ear went off.
Tassin pressed the button on it a she responded. "What is it?"
"We have intruders stalking around the tower, they're somehow sending out signals that are disrupting our security surveillance. Even our supernatural side of surveillance, something is disrupting that too. Van Kleiss is ordering all abled body men and women to hunt them down, and don't hesitate to kill." Said the Trooper from Tassin's earpiece.
"…" Tassin sighed. "I'll be right there."
Tassin disconnected the communication looking back at his acceleration Dust. "Hmm... Perhaps it might be best if I just store it away for later use. In a safe place."
Tassin emptied the liquid into three smaller clear containers, putting one away in a safe place in the lab while putting the second and third ones in his jacket, in case. "Even though my deuces in Dust enhancing speed are very limited... I'm sure when the moment's comes, I can use it to get the edge I need..."

Team SEKR broke off with the two teams that had been journeying with them to the top of the tower, allowing them to take the elevator while team SEKR took the stairs.
"Okay, odds are there is going to be something nasty waiting for us when we get up there." Artemis said, readying an arrow.
"There usually is." Miss Martian rolled her eyes.
The elevator suddenly stopped but not at their floor.
"This isn't the eightieth floor." Raven pointed the console, showing their current location 'Floor 75'.
"Guess it's our stop and we have to walk the rest of the way out." Rex shrugged.
The elevator doors opened…
"Oh, nasty." Ikki winced.
Everywhere they saw was silk webbing, what they saw above them, clinging to the webbing was some sort of insectoid in white carapace with red highlights of the tips of the spikes and joints, only much larger and fierce looking with his claws extended, digging into the soils and grew a strong protective carapace, rotating his head to his would-be foes and lets out a terrifying screech, revealing his raze sharp mandibles. If that wasn't enough he had surrounded them with several small drone creatures crawling on the walls and spinning silk.
"Ugh, never was a fan of bugs." Artemis was grossed out by the sight of so many of them, but more towards the largest one which appears to be the leader or what's controlling them.
"Whoa! That is one ugly mother-" Metabee was cut off when the EVO form of Hellgrammite sprinted from the walls, propelling himself at them like a bullet, claws reached out and was ready to catch his prey.
They immediately dodged it but a close call, Hellgrammite crouches and growls at his opponents to make the next move.
Rex could probably guess this had to be an EVO and without a doubt Van Kleiss' handy work for making monsters. "Looks like he's been building a new army of EVO in this reality."
"Remember, not only do they have nanites but alien DNA as well, watch your back." Six advised them.
"Especially those who were Metahumans." Artemis added, draws out her bow to take out by the swarming bugs.

"Dun, dun... Dun, dun... Dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, DUN, DUN, DUN, DUN, DUN, DUN, DUN, DUN, DUN, DUN, DUN! DUUUUUUUNNNNN!" Sung Baron as he was walking besides Tiburon.
"Baron, I swear if you don't shut your mouth, I will do it FOR YOU!" Growled Tiburon.
"How was that one, Tiburon?" Asked Baron.
"Horrible, and it wasn't funny the first five times you did it." Growled Tiburon yet again as team BATL and Spider-Man continued to walk down the halls.
"You sure you know where we're supposed to be going?" Asked Tiburon.
"Positive, see look-" Said Baron as he pulled out his Scroll with the map of the tower on it. "All we have to do it go down this hallway, take the elevator, make a left and-..." Baron stopped as he stared at the Tablet in silence as Tiburon gave his friend a confused look.
"Baron, what is it?" Asked Tiburon in confusion as Baron saw the reflection in the Tablet's screen.
A woman in red with a strange white mask…that had a demonic smile.
"MOVE!" Baron shouted as something shot at them from behind.
An energy wall came down and separated them, leaving Team BATL on one side and Spider-Man on the other who had company.
"Yikes!"
Spider-Man jumped, dodged, and swung over the flying swords from skewing his body, he had no idea where they were coming from, and even when there's a huge spider-ape that caught him by surprise.
"So exactly do they call you? Spider-Ape? Spider-Monkey? Nah, you look too fat big for a monkey, more like a Donkey Kong game character to me."
Grodd chose to ignore the hero's snarky jokes and focused on getting rid of the heroes. "Laugh all you want, human, but you'll regret coming to this dimension once I'm done with you and all the other heroes of this Earth first."
Grodd then leapt to the air and spewed a ball of webbing at his foe.
Spider-Man leapt to the wall to dodge the attack and saw more, then another sword came and almost struck him from behind had his Spider-Senses didn't kick in. "Seriously? Who's throwing swords about? Could cut yourself here?"
"That's the idea, isn't it?" A sinister laughter echoed the room, phasing from the floor before the surprised Spider-vigilante was what appeared to be some clone in a dark themed costume, better known as Chaos Piedmon. "Seems the itsy bitsy spider, you just like crawling about."
Peter could not help but groan by that joke the new villain made. "Seriously? And people say my jokes were bad. What are you the dark clown who jokes bad?"
"Then take this for a joke, bug-boy! Ending Snipe!" Chaos Piedmon unleashed an electrical surge from both his hands shot out towards his target, Spider-Man was about to make a dodge when suddenly he was shot by a blast from a female in red and a mask.
He cried out in pain when the attack hit him, almost like the time he fought Electro with the same type ability. Grodd landed next the Digimon and watched him subdue the hero with his surprise attack and considered perhaps letting the Green Goblin know of his whereabouts.
"Let's hope he's not dead, yet. Might need him for questioning."
"Makes me wonder why the Green Goblin wants him still breathing?" Piedmon pondered when he hears soft groaning from the downed hero, meaning he was still conscious and trying to say something. "Hmm, still breathing?"
"What's he saying?" Grodd asks when he decided grab him by the costume and hoisted him up with his feet dangling. "Something to say, boy?"
"oo… uu-"
"What'd you say?" Grodd leaned closer, trying to make out what he was saying.
This time, Spider-man chuckled and pointed his right finger upwards. "Look… up.."
"Uh?" The two EVO villains glanced at each other and not sure what he meant, but when Hexedecimal looked up she was startled as did both of them to find a bolt of lightning right above them and came straight down upon them.
The PACK members scrambled, forced to escape its path and abandon Parker who slowly regained himself and just jumped out of the way.
"Are we late?"
Everyone stopped to see who had just arrived: Genki Sanban and SAM-R-I.
Hey there, everybody. To all GrimmFall writers and fans, I just have one thing to say: Happy New Year and Happy Anniversary.
That's right, it's January 2, 2022, meaning that five years today I put up the first chapter of GrimmFall.
I started this story in the year 2017 and the anniversary is coming up right after new years. To be honest, I never thought it would get this far, as I mostly started with the idea of the Grimm appearing on Earth instead of the fusions from Fusionfall but it's grown in leaps and bounds. A main story that is fast approaching its 300th chapter, five spin-offs/movie arcs with a chibi spin off by me and over twenty one other spin offs or tie-in's with some still expanding. Not only that but it now has its own Wiki and TV Tropes page which all in all makes it bigger than I could have imagined.
And best of all, as we head into a new year we all know it's not going to stop there.
So thank you to all authors who have decided to pitch in with their own ideas, make their own spin-offs while staying respectful to the original lore and main story and to all the fans out there who love what we have done here. And you can trust me when I say, we're not stopping any time soon. So keep on reading, reviewing, telling your friends about this story and to all authors out there, thanks for your contributions and looking forward what you might add in the following year.
I left a similar message on the wiki, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas but tonight I wish you all a Happy but action filled New Year. Keep reading and as TOM from Toonami would say:
Stay Gold.
Bang.
