Over 12 ago in a underground temple located in Greece
A younger Lana Kane with a very noticeable bulging stomach signifying her late pregnancy status gazed around awe as she swung moved the light of her flashlight around the underground Greek temple, "This place is amazing!" She exclaimed with excited tone, "To think this has been under these caverns for potential centuries and no one's had a clue!"
Lana said as she turned her head looking down behind her with a smile at one of her closest friends in Satyra Della Duck, who herself shared the smile though glanced subtle in concern at her friends stomach. "Thank you for bringing me along Della even though I still wished you hadn't surprised me like that."
Della gave a dry chuckle and gaze as she look Lana in the eyes, "Yeah...you were the one surprised." She said before giving a pointed look at Lana pregnant stomach with Lana turning her gaze away with a nervous cough as she walked ahead deeper into the temple, "So remind me again what exactly is this pace anyway?"
Della frowned at her friends back while clenching her own flashlight tightly before she answered, "Well I found I had stumbled across this place when I was last in Greece with my Uncle and brother." "I went out exploring after an adventure and literal fell into this place from a pit above ground.
She explained she said pointing her light up at the ceiling looking at the ceiling above them. "And while I didn't get to explore too deeply before I found my way out and got back to Scrooge and Donald, but from what I saw than I think this was a safe haven and secret place of worship to the Greek Gods." Della looked stared up into Lana's eyes as they walked into a chamber, "I mean still don't know how deep this place goes or how big it is, but I think there's a shrine for every Greek God and Goddess here."
She than shined her light onto the center of the chamber showing large statue of a regal female figure made completely of Onyx with gems she couldn't quite identify yet sparkled like the stars themselves with. "Case in point"
"She's beautiful." Lana said in awe at the beautiful statue Della nodded in agreement while moving the light down to inscriptions below in ancient Greek which she read with arched brow as she replied back to Lana. "That she is beautiful and dangerous" Than read inscription aloud, "Here stands the Primordial Goddess of the Night Nyx, daughter of Chaos and mother of the night " She stepped closer brushing her fingers against the inscription and continued to read, "May all her loyal followers find safety from prosecution and the creatures of darkness under her star filled skies."
"The Grimm." Lana stated with a frown which Della replied with a pop of her beak, "Yep."
Lana frowned thoughtfully bringing up the other part of the inscription in questioning tone to herself, "Prosecution?"
Della shook her head as she stood back up and shone the light back, "Well if I remember my lessons with my uncle right, according to myth Nyx was a Primordial Goddess said to predate the era of Cronus the father of Zeus and was one of the few entities both feared and respected."
Lana looked at Della and waved her on with the hand holding the flashlight, "And?" Prompting her friend to continue, "But despite all this Nyx was seldom worshiped by mortals except for...except for Faunus and Mobians who worshiped her alongside the God of Pan to to find safety from hostile humans and Grimm alike in nature and under the sky filled sky.
A solemn silence took the two for a bit before Lana shook her head and arched her brow at Della, "This is all really some impressive stuff but remember there's a reason dropped in on me unannounced again by the way."
Della scratched the back of her head with sheepish smile.
"Instead of having your uncle and brother join you in exploring this like usual for your little adventures."
Della chuckled sheepishly, "Right…right you know rumors going around about His Eminence looking more and more into ancient ruins and like." Lana nodded her head gesturing her friend to continue on, "Well like I told you on my family last little adventure through Greece I managed to quite literal fall into find this place."
Della tapped her fingers together nervously, "And I thought Satyra or even His Eminence might be interested in this find…butttt as you know my uncle and brother aren't fans of our organization." She gave a shrug, "Personal I blame the PR guys and some of the bad eggs that we've got to work with."
"So I had to keep this little discovery hidden from them and wait to come back later on my own time." Della looked up at Lana's eyes, "But I also figured I might need some help in case I find anything so I thought who better than one of my best buds in Satyra Lana Kane."
Della finished smiling wide at her with jazz hands at Lana name before glancing down again nervously at Lana's stomach, "At least...that was the plan anyways." Lana placed her hand on her stomach and looked away from Della, "Because imagine my surprise after going through a lot of trouble to find where you were living at, and I mean a lot of trouble." Della crossed her arms and arched her brow, "Almost as if you went into a lot of effort to hide yourself from everyone including Satyra."
Della took a calming breath, "And what do I find?" Before bursting out gesturing her arms around like crazy, "YOU WITH A HUMAN KID AND PREGNANT WITH ANOTHER ONE!" She threw up her arms, "I MEAN WHAT THE HECK LANS!"
Lana groaned, "I've told you a million times not to call me that." Della held up her finger, "Ah bah, bah, bah don't try to change the subject on me." "You've been avoiding this talk ever since I went to get you for this!" "I mean why the heck would you try to hide all this?"
Lana growled, "Look Della I've got my reasons all right could we please drop it!" Della merely crossed her arms and glared as Lana continued, "I wanted it a secret because nobody needed to know about Tambry just like nobody needs to know about this one." She pointed toward her stomach, "It's bad enough you found out and got Scorpia involved too. "
Della snapped back, "Hey your kid needed someone to watch her and Scorpia can keep a secret." She rolled her eyes, "Though why you feel the need to keep this a secret even from your folks in the first place is beyond me. So you've got a human kid whoopee de golb do in other news no one's perfect."
She huffed, "At least she seems like a sweet kid Scorpia certainly seemed to like her and was having a ball watching her when we last called in."
Lana sighed rubbing her head, "Look can we talk about this later and focus back on why we came here in the first place." And gave a little glare, "And last time I check I'm not the only one here keeping secrets from their family."
Della sighed and held up her hands, "Alright...alright you got me there I'll drop it for now." She pointed toward Lana with narrow of her eyes, "But this isn't over."
All the sudden a voice full of amused sarcasm coming out of the shadows. "Ahh is the little tiff over already how drool just when it seemed like it was going to get entertaining too."
A form stepped out from behind a pillar revealing a blonde woman wearing a two piece toga tossing a golden apple up and down, "But not to worry I know just the thing to lighten up the mood." The Goddess of Chaos Eris said with a wide grin as the apple in hand began to glow.

"Okay, what just happened?"
Scotty and the rest of Team SEKR gathered around the spot where Van Kleiss had stood with his machine, while all around them the fighting continued with the remnants of the Pack now fighting to escape rather than to win.
Only the Justice Friends and other heroes and hunters had no intention of letting them escape.
"Van Kleiss has escaped with his nano machine to the prime universe." The answer came from Biowulf who stepped forward. "When he releases his virus there, it will have a domino affect on every other universe in existence. It will turn every living thing into an EVO connected to Van Kleiss' mind."
"WHAT?!" Grodd shouted as he fought Hego. "THAT WAS HIS PLAN?!"
He should have known better than to trust that maniac.
Actually he didn't.
He had only been forced to join by being injected by Van Kleiss' nanites and he had learned with his lesson with Luthor.
'Never trust a sick minded and twisted Homo Sapien!' The gorilla genius thought to himself as he took a punch from Hego that sent him flying back.
"We need to stop him before he can activate the virus." Rex quickly said.
"How? We can't follow him." Rino pointed out.
"There is." Extor pointed to the portal machine. "I can use that to-"
ZAP!
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Breach screamed as the portal machine suddenly was engulfed in a surge of lightning.
"Breach!" Rex shouted, rushing to save her…
Only for a golden blur to shoot past him.
It shot at Breach, removed her bindings and then grabbed her, dashing out of the way as the portal machine exploded.
BOOM!
Once again everyone in the large chamber was silent and still, seeing the portal machine explode as Living Bullet landed next to SEKR and placed the tired and injured Breach gently on the floor.
"Breach!" Rex knelt down next to her. "What happened?"
Breach managed to open her eyes and everyone noticed the dark circles around them. "Van Kleiss made sure the portal was designed to overload on his order if this place was ever taken…The surge was meant to kill me and then it would explode, burning my body with it."
"That's sick…" Rex could only say. "I knew Van Kleiss was sick but this…He's gone over the edge this time."
"Van Kleiss was always willing to sacrifice anyone and anything to achieve his goals." Agent Six stared, kneeling down next to Breach, opposite of Rex. "With his plan underway, Breach became a liability if she was used to follow him."
"Can you?" Rex asked.
Breach weakly shook her head. "I can't…without the machine…and I don't think…I'd live through another."
Extor knelt down and held up his tablet, running a scan over her. "This poor girl has experienced a great deal of trauma…Her entire body has been physically pushed beyond its limits and I imagine it hasn't been kind to her mentally either. She needs to go to a hospital and get immediate care."
Living Bullet nodded. "On it."
"Take this girl too." Major Glory gestured to the unconscious Bell in Valhallen's arms.
"Understood." Living Bullet said, appearing next to the Viking God of Rock and accepting the sleeping white Powerpuff Girl.
He then picked up Breach and immediately sped out of the room and soon enough out of the fortress.
"We still need to catch up to Van Kleiss." Extor reminded.
However, nobody got the chance to speak as a large furry clawed hand grabbed Rex by his head as the monster connected to it pulled him back.
"Hahaha! I don't give a damn about that little BRAT! And I don't give a damn about the bastard who just escaped! But just to feel like I got some retribution for my SUFFERING! I'm gonna take YOUR head..." Pardus growled, fully healed in his wereleopard form.
But before Rex could've even had the chance to fight back, a clawed fist charged right at his face as it caused him to stumble back and let go of Rex.
"That's enough, Pardus!"
Pardus lifted his head to see White Tiger standing before him, claws drawn and a black figure landed next to him. "…Bagheera."
The person in question was a black tiger Mobian, his muscular body covered in black fur with sharp claws extending from his hands and feet and glaring yellow eyes narrowed at the sight of Pardus.
"I heard you got out and went looking for me. Only to run afoul of my brother." Bagheera stated scornfully, glancing at White Tiger before looking back at Pardus. "You truly never learn."
"I could say the same for you, runt." Pardus growled.
Rather than waste anymore words, Bagheera charged right at Pardus, plowing him straight through the wall and not stopping for a second.
CRASH!
CRASH!
CRASH!
White Tiger turned to the other Justice Friends. "I have to help my brother in this matter. I leave the rest to you all."
Major Glory nodded, allowing his friend and comrade to take off to assist his brother against the Faunus criminal.
Meanwhile ChaosPiedmon split into four copies of himself, parodying Scotty's move. "If Van Kleiss is jumping ship I don't need to be any more or put up with any of you."
"Not so fast."
The former Dark Master snorted to see a human standing before him, glowing bright blue. "Well isn't that a nifty little power. And what hero name do you call yourself by?"
"I am Hego, former leader of Team Go." Hego answered stoically. "And none of you will be escaping justice today."
ChaosPiedmon chuckled. "Oh, you fancy yourself a hero of justice huh? More pointless and nauseating heroics like those insufferable Digi-destined. I still plan to make my way back to my world to have revenge on those brats, especially with this new power Van Kleiss forced upon on me but I can take the time play around with a so-called hero."
"I never once referred to myself as a hero." Hego retorted as he fell into a fighting stance. "And if you knew how many lives have been lost because of me, you wouldn't either."
"Oh, sounds like the would be hero has a guilty conscience. Now this is makes it more interesting." ChaosPiedmon leaned forward as his copies surrounded Hego. "What is it that plagues you so, would be hero? What have you done to feel such guilt? How many people have you hurt? I would really like to know!"
The copies shot forward, turning intangible to enter Hego's body with the intention of torturing him physically and mentally from the inside.
Only when Hego raised his fists…
POW!
POW!
POW!
"WHAT?!" ChaosPiedmon gapped as Hego easily dispatched his copies with a single fist, showing strength well beyond that of a human.
Just like Bell.
Hego then shot ChaosPiedmon with a battle-cry, forcing the former leader of the Dark Masters to jump out of the way.
'What is this?!' The Ghost/Digimon hybrid thought as he fired a ghost beam at Hego.
The blue themed hero reared a glowing fist back and sent it forward, punching right through the energy beam.
'He's negating my ghost powers!' ChaosPiedmon gritted his teeth in frustration.
Phil Ken Sebben glanced from his fight with Chuck for a mere second, looking long enough at the fight between ChaosPiedmon and Hego. 'So it is true. The cosmic radiation that gives Hego his powers is able to affect ghosts.'
It was a long shot but Sebben had read up on the battle with Malachite Plasmius in Beach City which Hego had been present at.
His cosmic radiation had allowed him to hurt the giant Gem Fusion even when it was intangible.
That's why Sebben had scrambled to make sure Hego was part of this mission.
'I suspected Van Kleiss had a ghost hybrid with him after I learned of the ghost attack on the Duck's Burrow Hotel.' Sebben turned his gaze back to Chuck who had miniature tornados surrounding him now. 'Based on what we learned from watching Dani Phantom, it was extremely unlikely that Van Kleiss would pass up an opportunity to have a ghost hybrid added to his ranks. It's a good thing Hego was available.'
And since Hego could actually hurt ChaosPiedmon, whether he was intangible or not, was a huge bonus.
And Hego showed it as he went on the attack, punching at the Dark Master with blue glowing fists that enhanced his strength to levels matching Krunk, Major Glory and Scotty.
'Aside from him, the rest are pretty much mutated Mobians and Faunus.' Sebben thought as he clashed his cane with Chuck's Furious Stinger. 'Now all that's left is to get to Van Kleiss and hopefully get out of here…before he shows up.'
That's what this was all building up to.
Van Kleiss and his super powered army, guarding an ancient object of power without actually realizing it.
Sebben and his fellow Huntsmen and heroes all working to stop Van Kleiss and hopefully make sure no one can reach the secret object of power.
'The Spiral Gem of Heart is under this fortress, locked away behind a magical door in a sanctuary built by the order of the ancient world to protect it from the Fallen.' Sebben duked under a mechanical fist from Chuck. 'This is what it has all been about. Van Kleiss piercing the fabric of reality, bringing in so many lost souls for his own sick experiments and everything that has happened since has all been part of something bigger and we barely caught it in time.'
Meanwhile, Spider-Man was contending with the Green Goblin who was still wielding his demonic sword, Mayhem.
"Haven't you been looking around, Goblin?" Spider-Man spun out of the way of another slash. "It's over now. Your boss has fled and your buddies are losing!"
"They are no allies of mine!" Green Goblin retorted as he unleashed a blast of red demonic energy. "And Van Kleiss was never my boss!"
SAM-R-I landed in front of Spider-Man, conjuring an electrical barrier that blocked the blast. "Whether he was your master or not, your side is still losing. Surrender now and you will be treated with mercy."
"Mercy?" Goblin scoffed and chuckled. "I don't know the meaning of that word."
"You'll wish you did if you don't tell me where Mary Jane is." Spider-Man said, having enough of Goblin refusing to answer his question.
"So you want to save dear Mary Jane?" Goblin snickered as he pointed Mayhem down at the floor. "Very well…I WILL TAKE YOU TO HER!"
Goblin plunged his sword into the ground and it glowed bright red. Red energy traveled around the three in a circle that immediately fell through a brand new hole.
CRASH!
CRASH!
CRASH!
CRASH!
CRASH!
CRASH!
CRASH!
Everyone paused and watched as the Green Goblin, Spider-Man and SAM-R-I vanished down below, crashing through the many floors of Van Kleiss' fortress. Genki frowned, worried about her husband but knew he could take care of himself as SAM-R-I.
There were still many battles to be fought up here.
Major Glory turned to Team SEKR. "You must hurry now. We can hold the rest off while you go after Van Kleiss."
"We still don't know how." Rino argued.
"I can help."
The group watched as Raven floated down onto the ground in front of them.
"Lass." Scotty greeted.
"I have the power to travel between dimensions and I can sense Van Kleiss' signature. Enough to follow him." Raven explained as she held out her glowing white hands and conjured a portal. "We have to hurry though."
"I am coming with." Rex stepped forward. "Six and I have been after Van Kleiss for a very long time now. It's time to end this."
"Just hurry. We'll handle the rest." Major Glory said and flew back into the battle while Team SEKR and Rex entered Raven's portal, followed by Raven herself.

"Now it's time…" Electric blue eyes snickered. "Or for time to stop!"
Scaramouche laughed as he activated the Time Displacement Unit upgrade given to him by Van Kleiss. Only with him now hooked up to the main reactor of Van Kleiss' fortress, it didn't freeze time for a few minutes.
Though everyone else in this universe would remain frozen in time for what felt like a few seconds it was actually much longer than that.
Xxx
Everything on Earth was frozen in time.
Except for an army that was moving under the cover of a dark storm.
"Excellent Scaramouche." Red eyes glinted in amusement and satisfaction. "The time displacement unit Van Kleiss gave you is working perfectly…As well as the time barrier I have cast over my army."
"Just how long have you been planning this?" The voice of Moloch asked from the shadows.
"Since the day I took the pages of my history from the Book of Ages. The pages that I merged with myself to hide my presence from those who can control and manipulate time." Sammael answered with a pleased smile. "The reactor core from Van Kleiss' fortress allows Scaramouche to freeze time much longer than Van Kleiss had originally planned. To the rest of the world, only a few seconds will pass, but to us…"
"Four days…And by the time they realize what has happened, we will right upon them with our army right at Van Kleiss' doorstep." Moloch finished in excited anticipation for the soon to be slaughter that will come.
"Exactly. Van Kleiss, Sebben and all the rest think that they are far ahead of us." Sammael chuckled. "But they don't just how far our game reaches. It will be fun to imagine the looks on their faces."
