Right Before the Time Freeze
"So what's so important that we have to go to Gravity Falls?"
"This is why." Kiva says as she pulls up a holo-screen in front of Jaime and Coop showing the image of a one eyed triangle in a bow and top hat. "I had asked Rasputin to search up information on an immediate threat in Gravity Falls."
"I still can't believe Ana lets us call her AI." Jaime said as he looked at the image. "Isn't that thing from one of Elsie's drawings?"
"Indeed, his name is Bill Cipher a dream demon and Lord of Chaos." Kiva explained as she brought up more information. "He destroyed his own two dimensional world and he is currently stuck in a collapsing dimension called the Nightmare Realm. He's trying to escape it into our world."
"He must have lost since he's not in the future right?" Coop asked thinking that everything will turn out alright.
"Rasputin looked up information from my 31st century files and theirs little information on how he was defeated." Kiva explained. "After Cipher's defeat the current mayor of Gravity Falls enacted something called the 'Never Mind All That' Act in case anyone asked about what happened in the few days involving Cipher, were the townspeople just ignored the questions."
"Well that's reassuring." Jaime sarcastically commented on.
"Some of the information I found shows that he does escape into our dimension but is unable to leave the town." Kiva says as she pulled up the relevant information. "According to the findings of a researcher by the name of Stanford Filbrick Pines the town is a magnet for supernatural anomalies, both mystical and extraterrestrial. And because of this 'weirdness magnetism' that he calls this phenomenon a barrier is able to keep the worst of the anomalies in the town such as Cipher and others like him. I can only assume that this barrier is the reason why only a few Grimm have ever made it inside the town; it also acts as a defense against outside threats."
Just after Kiva spoke, she along with Coop, Jamie and Megas were frozen by the time field activated by activated by Scaramouche.

In her personal pocket dimension the Lady of Chaos Nyx was in the middle of...strategizing?
"Ehhh nooooo!" Cried said Lady of Chaos in a high pitched 'scream' of 'fear' as she held Chess models of herself and Sammael in her hands. She moved Sammael figure as she mimicked mockingly the Fallen voice, "'Oh how this could be!' 'How could I the great Sammael with my genius and my shiny hair lose to Nyx's superior long gorgeous locks and mind?!'"
Nyx gave a little giggle as she continued this time with her figure, "Hehe you just answered your own question Sammael you were doomed the moment you thought you could trick and defeat the great Phoenix of Chaos Nyx!"
She than had Sammael figure bowing to her own and with mocking tone of fear she spoke in "Sammael" voice, "Oh please have mercy!" "I see now that all my years of power and plotting could not prepare me for someone like you."
"Hemhem" Nyx paused hearing the sound of someone clearing their throat, and slowly turned her head over her shoulder to see Bunny with Pericles perched on her head with the former looking at her in curiosity while the latter simply arched his feathered brow as he asked, "Dare I ask what it is you're doing mistress?"
Nyx dropped the chess piece models and twirled around with putting on a wide grin, "Why I was um...just thinking of potential strategies to help us achieve our victory!" She coughed into her fist, "Yes that's it."
Pericles just rolled his eyes.
"I saw that!"
Pericles sighed. "My lady, perhaps we could use this brief break in time to collect the remaining disk pieces before Sammael reaches the mountains of Nowhere."
"What do you think I'm doing?" Nyx retorted.
"Do I really have to answer?"
Nyx pouted and with a wave of her hand, moved the pieces on the map of the world. "Fine. I thought about having some fun but I guess I should be focused on this. Though it's not like we are pressed for time. Time freeze or not, it will still take Sammael three more days to reach the Nowhere mountains. Right?"

"Right?"
"There is a problem." Pericles simply said.
Nyx frowned as she stood up. "I have not come this far and risked everything to come out on top for there to be a problem, Pericles. Sammael's army is still three days from the mountains even if it just now entering Nowhere. How is there a problem?"
"It appears Sammael's army is not the only force moving through the time field." Pericles stated, causing Nyx to freeze.
"What?!"
Pericles waved a wing and the image of a large ship appeared surrounded by machines both on land and ground. "It appears this force is moving towards the mountains as well. We have identified both parties."
"That ship…" Nyx's eyes flashed purple. "Robotnik…Or rather Eggman. I knew he and Sammael had a connection but I didn't think he would be participating in this. And the other force-"
"The Racing Drones. Specifically the Vehicon portion." Pericles finished for his mistress.
"I thought they were done! Gelorum is dead!" Nyx turned away, purple electricity flashing across her hands. "Even if there are survivors, Gelorum was the central guiding unit for them all. How can they even function without her?"
"Whatever the reason, the Vehicons have access to technologies of several species, including Gems and Cybertronians. And right now it is in effect." Pericles waved his wing again for his mistress to see what is happening. "Sammael knew that even freezing time around the world would not guarantee he would arrive in time. Evidently he acquired assistance from his allies."
"Damn it!" Nyx banged her fist on the coffee table in the middle of her living room. "How did he anticipate all of this?! No one is that good!"
"Don't forget, Nyx. Sammael had likely spent a long time planning for this, even taking other obstacles like Cipher, the Gems, even us long before your rebirth as a Lady of Chaos." Pericles pointed out. "For all we know, we played into his hands when we approached him with a deal."
"And what? That he is counting on my now none-existent human feelings to somehow weaken me?" Nyx grunted.
"We cannot know for sure." Pericles shrugged.
"Well I have no intention of playing his game. So get a move on, Pericles. We're finding the last pieces of the disk then I will show Sammael, Cipher and Klarion the folly of messing with Nyx, the one and only Lady of Chaos in this world!" Nyx declared, a deathly purple aura surrounding her. "Tell me where the next piece is!"
"This one will be easier. I checked over the records over the last century or so and it seems one of the pieces was last seen in the land that would become Beach City." Pericles answered with a smile.
Nyx stopped and looked at her familiar. "…Pink Diamond. Of course she would find something dangerous and like everything else in her life, just hide it away."
"Yes. She was rather foolish in that endeavor." Pericles nodded.
"So where would she hide it? The Gem Temple?" Nyx brought a hand to her chin. "No, too obvious. She wouldn't want something dangerous potentially breaking in and finding what other dangerous secrets she kept in there."
"I suspect she hid it in a place only a Gem could access." Pericles stated. "Or rather, something that a Gem could use to hide something so dangerous that it could not be allowed to exist on the planet Earth."
"A parallel dimension would be easy to create and access for a Gem, especially a Diamond." Pericles nodded.
"And where could a Diamond create a way into such a place?" Nyx grinned. "That hybrid's pet lion!"

"So we hurry, we find the source of this time thingy and then smash it." Scotty placed a fist into a palm. "And then we skedaddle."
"That is the general plan." Sebben nodded.
The two Huntsmen and one Heroine were now moving through the time frozen depths of Van Kleiss' fortress. Everyone else were still frozen in the time field but the three had decided they would be much safer frozen while they set about their next objective.
"We have to find the source quick and then get everyone out of here. The ion core is no doubt minutes away from exploding." Sebben reasoned as they walked through one of the large dark hallways of the fortress. "The Grimm army is still technically three days from here but this would be the perfect time for Sammael to try something."
Raven had to agree with Sebben on that.
Given her own experience with villains such as Slade, Brother Blood, Blackfire, the Brotherhood of Evil and even her own demon sire Trigon this was likely part of some grand scheme to win against all the good guys and take over the world.
Or at least that would be what Beast Boy would say.
'That's right. Beast Boy is here in this world somewhere but he got out.' Raven instantly recalled. 'I can't go back home until I find him. I just hope he hasn't been changed too much by what Van Kliess tried to do to him.'
She wasn't exactly the same person either.
She had changed since coming to this new world, having undergone the same training as Scotty did to unlock all her chakras and finally gain control over her powers. With Trigon defeated both in mind and in the real world, Raven was free to freely express her emotions, even more so once she had completed her training with Scotty.
She was finally free.
Of course she would retain the teachings she had learned from the monks of Azarath but she didn't have to fear her powers anymore.
She just wanted to go home now.
Cyborg, Starfire and Robin were no doubt worried about her and Beast Boy and they would want to know about this world and the potential problem of Grimm popping up in her world.
She wasn't paranoid like Robin at his worse but she liked to consider all possible outcomes when it came to any danger.
"So where do we go?" Raven asked, shaking her head of these thoughts and decided to focus on the present.
"The best possible lead we have right now is the command deck." Sebben answered and sighed. "But with this time field, the elevators are out."
"I think I have a faster way." Raven offered as her eyes glowed white.
Dark energy engulfed the three, taking the form of a giant raven that flew up through the ceiling, passing through the floors like a ghost before finally arriving on the command deck.
"I forgot you could do that, lass." Scotty said with a smile as the energy dissipated. "You really are handy, you know that?"
Raven simply nodded as she looked around, noting the command deck looked like a battle had taken place in it. "Something happened here."
Sebben nodded as he noticed the state the place was in. "Something tells me Van Kleiss had more than us to worry about."
"You don't know the half of it, babe."
The three looked forward at the main console, seeing someone sitting in the command chair which was then turned around to reveal…
"Scaramouche." Scotty and Sebben both said, eyes narrowing at the sight of the maniacal cyborg.
"Well, lookie here. Phil Ken Sebben and the Scotsman." Scaramouche grinned, showing all of his teeth as he faced down the three. "I had a feeling at least one of you would break free of the time field."
Raven was silent as she looked over the cyborg named Scaramouche, sensing a soul underneath the metal like Cyborg but unlike her technological friend she could tell this was not a virtuous soul.
Not by a long shot.
Scaramouche then noticed Raven. "Wow, THIS was the babe that Sammael babe wanted to kill so bad? Hahaha! No problem-o!"
He stood up and pulled out his flute that transformed into its shotgun mode as he aimed it at Raven and started to fire, but Raven quickly held up an energy shield that blocked the bullets as Scotty dashed at Scaramouche with his sword raised and letting out a battle cry. He swung his sword, only to slash and miss as Scaramouche hopped over him and landed behind him.
As he started to fire again, to which Scotty started to block and dodge, out of nowhere he was hit by a bolt of lightning that blasted him back. "GAH!"
"I'm so sorry; I forgot to show you my friends." Scaramouche chuckled as several floating devices surrounded him before taking the forms of familiar heroes.
Major Glory.
Valhallen.
Krunk.
Living Bullet.
SAM-R-I.
White Tiger.
Tiki-Torch.
The flashing sword in SAM-R-I's hands indicated he was the one who blasted Scotty.
"Like them? They're called Monitors. They have the ability to project holographical bodies around themselves, only they look and act like the real thing." Scaramouche taunted. "Van Kleiss was saving them up to tackle with anyone who escaped his virus. Any-who, attack!"
'SAM-R-I' lifted his sword and blasted a bolt of lightning at Scotty who raised his sword to block the attack. After an attack like that, any normal person or even Huntsman would be killed by a blast like that.
But not Scotty, as he stood back up and held out his blade at both Scaramouche and 'SAM-R-I'.
"Well, well, well babes! Don't just show off! Come on and-" But Scaramouche didn't get the chance to finish as Sebben charged at Scaramouche and started to savagely slash at him with his cane.
Scaramouche jumped away from the surprise attack, firing several blasts from his weapon. Sebben used his cane to block Scaramouche's shotgun blasts and cut apart the boards of scrap that fly at him from Scaramouche's Melodic Massacre. Sebben also dodged out of the way of several lightning blasts that were directed towards him by 'Valhallen'. Sebben continued to jump out of the way as he dashed at Scaramouche and swiped at him, but the cyborg jumped out of the way, continuing to play his Melodic Massacre.
As Sebben tried to charge at him again, he was punched back by a large purple fast. Looking back up he saw 'Krunk' charge at him with another punch, but Sebben managed to hop out of the way.
'Tiki-Torch' then thrust his hands forward, releasing a blast of fire at Raven who conjured an energy shield to block. However 'Tiki-Torch' wasn't done as he gathered up several balls of fire and started throwing them at Raven like they were grenades. They landed only feet away from Raven and exploded.

As 'Tiki-Torch- tossed them, Raven hopped out of the way of every one of them as she dashed up to the copy of the fire hero, dodging another one of its fire blast before firing a white blast that collided with the copy and instantly exploded.
Scotty just knocked 'Valhallen' off his feet and moved to finish him off but the hero copy then blasted Scotty again with a bolt of lightning. Scotty forced back, as he started smoking but his Aura remained intact.
Scaramouche walked up behind 'Valhallen' and patted him on the shoulder. "Hey, good hit kid! Now it's Scaramouche's turn BABY!"
Scaramouche lifted the flute to his lips as he started playing Melodic Massacre one more. Pieces of scrap and metal started to be torn out of the room all around them and come flying at Scotty but the Scotsman started hacking the pieces of metal flying at him to pieces as he charged at Scaramouche with his sword yet again.
"RAGH!" Scotty shouted as he slashed his sword at his opponent.
Scaramouche didn't move but 'Valhallen' appeared in front of him and clashed his Mighty Axe with Scotty's sword.
"You really think I would leave myself wide open?" Scaramouche taunted as he continued playing his Melodic Massacre.
"You did…For me." Scaramouche glanced to his right, watching as Raven appeared out of a portal and fired a white blast at him…
Only for it to be intercepted by 'Major Glory'.
"For some reason, Sammael babe wants you dead." Scaramouche grinned. "So I will leave that to the best."
'Major Glory's' eyes flashed as he shot forward before Raven could react and slammed her into a wall. He repeatedly slammed her against the wall over and over again.

SLAM!
"LASS!" Scotty shouted while still grappling against 'Valhallen'.
Scaramouche chuckled as he summoned more metal pieces from the wrecked command deck. "This might be over faster than I thought. At this point, I'll everyone here dead before Sammael babe shows up."
Nearby, Sebben grunted he blocked strikes from both 'White Tiger' and 'SAM-R-I'. "So you're just buying for time. Trying to keep us here until Sammael arrives with his Grimm army."
"Sure am." Scaramouche answered, twirling his deadly weapon flute in one hand. "He had me infiltrate Van Kleiss to get his hands on all the wonderful stuff gold boy pillaged from countless realities. And once he saw the list, he saw the perfect chance to slow you all down and give him the time he needed to catch up. Literally."

(Flashback Sequence)
Van Kleiss had a weary look on his face as Sammael slowly approached him, holding out his hand.
"All from day one, Sammael babe had golden boy Kleiss dancing in the palm of his hand."
The scientist slowly reached out and shook the Fallen's hand.
Later, Van Kleiss has his lab set up deep underground in the Nowhere Mountains.
"Sure, golden boy got his hands on a lot of fancy gadgets and chumps to experiment on, but he was still in the dark about Sammael babe's real goal."
Van Kleiss grinned as he looked down at the pods, holding people he had abducted from other dimensions, including Raven.
"Soon enough, the guy was confident he could handle anything coming his way, even whatever form of payback Sammael might have had planned if and when there was going to be a double cross."
(Flashback End)

"But by the time he would realize what the boss was really planning it would already be too late." Scaramouche snickered. "And thanks to you, not only did his plans get blown away but so did he…When the Earth he landed on collided with its own sun! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!"
By this point, 'Major Glory' had thrown Raven down onto the floor and slowly walked towards her.
"Right from the beginning, Sammael babe was planning for this. Sure, there were a few hiccups here and there but what plan doesn't end up getting changed halfway through?" Scaramouche admitted, shrugging while at the same making a waving gesture with one hand. "Sure enough, your boys took care of a lot problems that would have given the boss a headache. Like that other golden boy Billiam, that Crom snake thing and the ice babe. All the saps that Kleiss chump abducted, they all helped you take these suckers down and with all the noise going on, Sammael babe was free to gather his gang together for this."
'Major Glory' stood over Raven as his eyes started to glow.
"But now it's the end of line, babes. We don't need golden boy's portal or the lost sheep that came out of it anymore." Scaramouche grinned as he prepared to snap his fingers. "So as they say in almost all worlds…Au Revoir: that's French for…You're dead, babe!"
Just as 'Major Glory' was about to fire his eye beams at Raven to finish her off once and for all, Sebben activated his Clockwork Semblance. He dashed in between 'White Tiger' and 'SAM-R-I' and moved in between 'Major Glory' and the downed Raven. He swung his cane at the eye beams, surprisingly deflecting them off of his cane and they flew right at Scaramouche instead.
BOOM!
"GAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Scaramouche staggered back, his purple coat burning away from the attack.
Sebben then whacked 'Major Glory' on the head, delivering a series of strikes and followed with an Aura blast from the end of his cane that sent the hero copy crashing into the wall.
Sebben then turned to Raven and helped her up. "I think we have overstayed our welcome here."
Scotty prepared to finish off the downed cyborg, only for Scaramouche to jump back up and land land in front of him. Scotty's eyes widened as he saw that all of Scaramouche's clothes were off, revealing Scaramouche's dark robotic body with two mechanical horse legs for feet.
"Okay, I've seen some weird things the past several months... but your freaky body takes the cake." Scotty simply said.
Scaramouche grew angry at the Scotman's taunt. "Gosh darn worthless-! How DARE you call my new body freaky, babe?! It's the PERFECT combo of science and nature to create the PERFECT ASSASSIN! And when Sammael babe gets here, I'll be his new favorite assassin!" Scaramouche bragged.
"Wow, that's... I've never seen anything like that before..." Scotty said with a sarcastic tone.
"Hehe... Just for that, I'm gonna make sure your last moments on this Earth will be hell for ya, BIG TIME!" Said Scaramouche
Scoty gripped his sword and dashed over to Scaramouche. However that's when Scaramouche started singing a tone as out of nowhere, appeared physical black musical notes as they floated through the air like balloons as one came in contact with Scotty…
Boom!
Blasting him back with an explosion and was smashed into a wall. Scotty groaned in anger as he pulled himself out of the wall, and looked back up to see four more musical notes heading his way. He held up his sword defensively again as his faithful weapon blocked the bulk of the explosions. As the assault finally ended, Scotty looked back as he walked back to where he originally was.
"You and one-eyed Willy might have destroyed my Melodic Massacre, but you cannot destroy the musical power that is ME, babe! SCABADABABIBIBBLABABABABABABABABABABADODODODODOOOOO!"
