Phil Ken Sebben was shown sitting at his desk, staring directly at the camera.
"The message is meant to detail the contingency plans laid in place to counter all known threats to this world and beyond. Currently, I Phil Ken Sebben am making plans to join the fight in Nowhere Mountains against Van Kleiss and if it comes to that, the Grimm army led by Sammael. With the Gem of Sight, I have foreseen over a thousand possible futures, many where we win, where we lose and where a stalemate is shown in place of a loss or victory. My current plan for Gravity Falls involves the participation of one Mr. Coop, pilot of the robot mech Megas.
They were already on their way to Gravity Falls when my message will have reached them. While Megas is formidable, it's unlikely even it will be enough to stop Bill Cipher. My message includes instructions to make contact with the newly returned renegade scientist Ford Pines. He can provide Megas with the necessary tools to allow it to stand against Bill Cipher.
By the time Megas arrives in Gravity Falls, I will be in Nowhere, either helping to evacuate the fortress or defending it if the Grimm army arrive ahead of the projected schedule. If anything happens to me, I have left instructions to Callie Briggs and the Justice Friends. Callie Briggs will take over as Mayor of GrimmFall and the Justice Friends are to retrieve the Gem of Sight from me if I am killed in action while Professor Rothchild of Nevernest Academy will take my place as Headmaster. Callie, Roth, it is imperative that you two work together, share the knowledge, resources and experience you both have to become effective in leading our city and people against the darkness.
A contingency election will be held to elect the new president of the Huntsmen Association and the details of which are to be released following my possible death. I make this recording now, to ensure anyone watching that I have done the best I can to ensure that this world, its people and even the rest of the universe survives what is coming." Sebben touched his eye patch. "Threats from this world and beyond, watching and waiting to see if this planet and its people are ready to fight a new level of war. This kind of war has only been seen once in our history…the ancient war against the Grimm and the Fallen that began the Forgotten Age, led by Sammael in his quest to find the Spiral Gems. It was not a war limited to one world and all recent signs show that a new war is beginning, one that will fought across universes if we not prepared. All contingencies have been made to ensure our survival but I cannot promise a victory because this is not the type where we must risk everything to achieve victory…It's the war where we have to risk everything to ensure there is a world left standing."
Sebben leaned back in his chair and looked out the window. "All I can do at this point is to prepare everyone as best I can for what is to come."

"Life is an experience. It has no singular path but is subject to constant changes by the choices of one or person or others and the events that are brought about by these choices. These are what drives the current paths of every living being in this world." Sammael's back was shown to the screen as he spoke, standing at the front of his Galleon. "However, even the smallest event can be the catalyst for a great and unexpected turn. In the case of Phil Ken Sebben for example."
Sebben is shown now as a soldier, fighting during World War II.
"A man drafted to serve his country and people and should have died."
Sebben and his brother are then shown on the ground, dying.
"And were it not for the kindness of a stranger who had come to watch the battles and seemingly offered his life for no apparent reason…"
Sebben is then shown with his eyepatch.
"Who was the man who gave his life to save Sebben and his twin brother?"
Sebben is then shown in his office, touching his eyepatch.
"What was the gift that changed everything?"
Sebben was now shown before a large crowd, in front of city hall.
"What could have changed a simple soldier into a man who revolutionized the world? To bring forth the Silver Age of Heroes and Huntsmen."
Sebben is now shaking hands with many notable figures, including Major Glory.
"A man who walked this world longer than most? What made him so special? What made him worthy?"
Sebben is then shown with Callie Briggs, both of them working together in running both GrimmFall and Nevernest Academy.
"Of course, he would have already since written down his story and released it to the public to gain their trust. However, we know that history is full of lies and secrets. For whatever truth Sebben had released in his books to the world, there is always more one simple truth. A single truth can always have many layers."
Sammael looked over his shoulder and a smile could be seen.
"But what is the truth? For a single man to play so large a role, there can be only one sure way to find out."
Sebben is now shown battling alongside the heroes and Huntsmen in the fortress of Van Kleiss.
"There are many ways to understand a person's motives. One of them would be to directly engage them in combat, either at close range or to observe from a distance. Monitor how they fight, how they defeat their enemy?"
The battle between Katz and Tyrian is shown in Nowhere now. (See GrimmFall: Remnants of Evil.)
"Would they quickly dispatch or would they draw the fight out slowly and to inflict as much pain as possible? Understand their intentions, what drives them and you will understand what can make one man, so special…"
Scotty Blake is shown fighting Duff Killigan now.
"What makes them worthy?"
Team SEKR member Rino fighting against Teen Titan member Raven.
"Is it their skills?"
Genki Sanban faced down Shoji Fuzen in Tokyo.
"Their commitment?"
Sammael turned around and was smiling at the screen. "All that is really known, is that in one single moment, one's life is forever change…As are the people connected to that one."

"Man what are the odds we decide to go this small town and we get a mission to go that small town from Phil Ken Sebben of all people?"
Jamie could admit to not being the glue that holds the team together.
Okay, he hardly contributed at all but he was there for his best friend and that was enough in his eyes.
And he had a brain that he knew how to use.
So when Phil Ken Sebben, mayor of GrimmFall and headmaster of Nevernest Academy sends them a message, detailing a special mission to the same town they were planning on go to, that was when Jamie gets suspicious.
"Hey, Sebben's cool, Jamie. He always assigns everyone the best missions at the best possible time. You know, he had a few missions for us on and off after getting this robot." As usual, Coop was completely casual about the mission.
"Yeah, but this sounds to be dangerous." Jamie pointed out, looking out the passenger window. "As in 'end of the world' dangerous. You'd think he'd send someone who's less likely to wreck everything around him."
"Maybe so, Jamie but that doesn't change the fact we need to go to Gravity Falls and Sebben even set up a contact for us." Kiva said from the backseat, running through the database on her holo-screens. "Ford Pines is noted to be the first human who cracked interdimensional travel before the technology was officially banned. We couldn't risk using it in the future against the Glorft because history suggested it caused more harm than good. I am guessing Bill Cipher was the main reason for that."
"Another reason to be worried." Jamie rolled his eyes, watching as Megas passed through a cloud. "This Cipher guy sounds like bad news. How did we live through something like that?"
"I am not sure myself, Jamie." Kiva admitted. "Every related to dimensional technology was confiscated and labelled restricted to all but the highest authority. I was a commander so this was above…my pay grade as you would call it."
"You got paid?" Jamie glanced at the rearview mirror to see Kiva throwing a glare at him. "Just wondering."
"It's an expression, Jamie. You two keep using expressions like that around me." Kiva rolled her eyes. "You can't tell when I'm using one too."
"Probably because you're so serious all the time but that was a good one." Coop remarked with a humorous smiled. "Okay, so we might run into a bit of trouble but we'll wing it like we usually do."
"You know it couldn't hurt for once to try coming up with a plan before we jump into the action." Kiva pointed out, looking back down at her holo-screens.
"Yeah, but it's always fun." Jamie glanced back at Kiva with a smile.
Kiva rolled her eyes. "Okay, I won't ask you to change your usual approach, but could you drop me off at the town before you go after Cipher?"
"What for?" Coop asked.
"Sebben's contact, Ford Pines. I want to speak with him about what he knows dimensional travel. It could help me with trying to repair the time drive." Kiva answered. "And to be honest, this is going to perhaps hit a little home for me."
"How so?" Jamie asked.
"From what I see up ahead, it's a lot like things are in the future. Every place on Earth being a battleground and since I don't have a mech of my own, I might as well check in with the town and see if the people are all right." Kiva reasoned. "You can focus on fighting Cipher while I make sure the people are clear…Assuming you don't step on us during the fight."
"Uh, I wouldn't do that…." Coop grumbled before a thoughtful look appeared on his face. "I think."
Kiva rolled her eyes.
"Tell ya what. If I step on you or anyone, I owe you a free lunch." Coop bet. "But if I don't step on anyone, you buy the next five meals for me."
"Oh goodie." Kiva said dryly. "Now that motivates me."
"There you go." Coop smiled, missing Kiva's sarcasm. "All right, I'll drop you off in the town to check on the people. Try to fund a good place to eat while you're at it."
Megas flew down towards the location that was Gravity Falls and they got a good look at the scarlet weather surrounding the town from inside the invisible barrier that kept all things unnatural confided to the town.
Not to mention the floating pyramid.
That pretty much screamed 'Bad Guy's Crib'.
"Okay, that's new." Jamie admitted, looking a little perturbed. "Just what exactly is going on here? It's like some giant snow globe."
Kiva ran a quick scan. "There's some kind…dimensional tear…I've never seen anything like this before. Some sort of energy field, I can't make out what's the cause of it but it's both projecting energy around the tear and containing it. I know I heard Gravity Falls was ground zero for many odd things, but this is not what I was expecting."
"Sounds like this will be fun!" Coop grinned.
Megas shot towards the giant pyramid.

"Father, do you see what I see?" Pacifica asked, nonchalantly looking out the window of her father's castle.
"Depends, do you see a giant robot with a hideous paint job, obviously put together by a video-gaming junkie who still lives in his mom's basement and has absolutely no experience whatsoever in weapons design, engineering and shouldn't even the resources for building said robot or keeping it together?" Cipher asked rhetorically as the giant robot entered passed the invisible weird force field surrounding Gravity Falls.
"Yes."
Megas landed in front of the town, angling upward so it was 'looking' up at the giant pyramid.
"It so then yes." Bill simply said. "Looks things are about to get shaken up around here."
"Want us to go down and take it out?" Pacifica asked, gesturing to the many demons and monsters that made up her father's gang.
"No. They'll come up and play with us soon enough and they might bring Sixer along with them if we're lucky." Bill's eye curled into a grin. "This ought to be more fun than dealing with that annoying Time Baby."

"What in the world?!"
Ford along with rest of the town gaped as a…giant robot landed just outside the town.
Ford had seen many things in his journeys across the multiverse, including a few of them being giant robots.
Heck, he knew of the giant robots built into Mount Rushmore, disguised as the heads of the most famous presidents of the United States.
But this…
This was a new one, even for him.
For one, it had a sports car for a head and out of the backseat came a red haired woman who was picked up by one of the robot's hands and placed down in front of the ground in front of the townspeople.
"Ford Pines?" The woman called out. "Is there a Ford Pines here?"
Ford raised an eyebrow but stepped forward. "I am Ford Pines."
"What are you doing?" Stan grabbed his brother by the shoulder. "You don't announce yourself to someone who just came in on a giant robot that could flatten the town."
The woman stepped forward, entering the anti-Bill barrier surrounding the town.
"She's not one of Bill's minions. She can enter through the field." Ford shrugged Stan's hand off and stepped forward. "I am Ford Pines. And you are?"
"Kiva Andru. You might find this hard to believe but I'm from the future. The 31st century to be exact." Kiva introduced herself.
…
…
…
"You say you're from the future huh?" Stan asked, sounding skeptical.
"I know it sounds hard to believe but-"
"I believe you." Stan cut her off.
"Me too." Soos said next.
"It is plausible, given the giant robot." Ford agreed.
"Yep." Candy Chiu nodded.
"It is obvious." Scrooge agreed.
Kiva blinked, watching as pretty much the entire town admitted to believing her. "O…kay, usually it's bit harder to convince anyone I'm telling the truth."
"Trust me, we've seen a lot of crazy stuff around here the last few days. A lady from the future is practically a Saturday." Stan shrugged. "Plus, thanks."
"For what?"
"Your giant robot scared off all the goblins attacking us." Stan said in a way that sounded like a goblin attack was a perfectly normal thing.
And in Gravity Falls, it may as well be.
Before Kiva could say anything else, Coop shouted down from Megas. "Okay, Kiva! We're going to fight that giant yellow dorito!"
"Wait, what-" Ford couldn't finish as Megas took off towards the giant pyramid. "Are they crazy?! They can't fight Bill!"
"Unfortunately, they are much worse than crazy." Kiva sighed.

"I wanted to play spin the person!"
Inside Bill's castle, the demons that made up his gang were complaining about no human victims to play with.
"Relax, guys. You'll party soon enough when I unveil Phase 2." Cipher spoke, relaxing on his throne.
SMASH!
CRASH!
The demons all screamed and scattered, taking cover while Cipher remained on his throne. "Be cool, guys. It's just an idiot with a robot."
Megas stepped through the giant hole as Coop honked several times from his car. "Yo, I'm looking for a Bill Cipher. One eyed guy, looks like a giant dorito with a dorky top hat and bow tie."
"Dorky?! I prefer classical and I was rocking it before you meatbags invented it!" Cipher glared, his form flashing red as he pointed at Megas.
"Don't make it cool though." Jamie called out from the passenger side of Megas head/car.
"Yeah, just some one eyed demon who comes here to act like you're the big bad on the block. Seen it, kicked the bad guy's butt." Coop shrugged.
"Yeah, as if beating down a bunch of space squids is supposed to be impressive. Future doesn't matter to me one bit, Blob. I'll be partying by the time the sun goes supernova and wipes this mudball from the universe." Bill floated up off his throne. "Like I should be scared of the likes of you. Here's what I think!"
He snapped his fingers…
BOOM!
Megas was sent flying out of the pyramid by a blast of energy from Bill before Coop could even react. Bill's eye turned into a mouth which blew on his smoking finger.
Xxx
Kiva spun around, watching as Megas was shot out of the giant pyramid and sailed overhead, missing the town thankfully before crashing into the forest on the other side.
CRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
The crash from the giant robot shattered the ground and trees, kicking up dust and debris into the air, covering the town and forcing almost everyone to get inside while a few others remained outside, covering their faces from the force of the dust clouds.
"Coop! Jamie!" Kiva cried, rushing for the crash site.
"Wait, Miss Kiva! The forcefield only covers the town!" Ford ran after her. "If you go outside, those monsters will come for you!"
"I don't care! I can't leave my friends out there." Kiva said, coming up on the edge of town and she could see Megas lying down in the middle of a large crater.
She held up her wrist communicator. "Coop? Jamie? Can you hear me?"
No answer.
Could they be-?
No.
Kiva shook her head. 'Not after everything we've been through.'
Fighting the Glorft…
Taking down monster and aliens on and off Earth…
Coop somehow managing to pull a victory out of nowhere each and every time it looked like it was over for them.
No like this.
"Coop! Jamie!" Kiva called again into the communicator.
Seeing there was no answer, Kiva switched her communicator off and moved outside the force field…
Just in time for hands to sprout out from the ground and grab onto her legs.
"Wha-?!" Kiva immediately kicked the hands way and jumped back, watching as literal zombies literally crawled out of the ground.
One by one, zombies emerged from the ground, all of them chanting and groaning.
"Brains…"
"Brains…"
"Brains…"
"Brains…"
"Brains…"
"Braiiins Exelsiiiior…" Including an old zombie with a moustache and glasses.
"You have got to be kidding me." Kiva sighed, rubbing her head.
INFINITY TRAIN ARC
Opening File: Geist Grimm
Geists are Creatures of Grimm that resemble ghosts and are capable of "possessing" and controlling any inert object. A Geist's base form is a black figure that has bone-like spikes on its back and ribs on its upper body, with long, skeletal forearms and sharp fingernails. It lacks a lower body, instead floating through the air while leaving behind a black smoke trail. Its face consists of Grimm markings on a mask-like bone plate with a single eye.
A Geist is a possession-type Grimm, capable of controlling any inorganic matter or inert mass it possesses as extensions of its own body. Should it lose any of its limbs, it can repair the chink in its armor almost immediately by simply possessing another object in the vicinity. Its only real vulnerability is its 'face', the central segment from which it maintains control of the form as a whole. Once its host object is destroyed or severely disabled, it abandons the body, revealing its base form.
While in its true form a Geist will sometimes use its claws in combat. Its true form appears to be relatively frail; it can be killed with a single shot. The true form of the Geist is described as largely harmless in their natural state.

"My word!" Double D gasped, seeing the endless desolate land outside of the train. "What kind of world are we in?"
"Evidently a world where the train is the only hospitable place." Ford answered as the door closed behind them. "Making it clear that staying on this train to work through our problems is not just a choice, but a necessity."
"Is there any way to know how long this train is?" Double D wondered.
My scans pick up an incalculable number of cars that make up this train.
Conclusion: It has an unlimited number of cars and is why it is called the Infinity Train.
Ford glanced at Double D, knowing that Armatae was communicating with the boy. He still didn't know what to make of his former creation bonding with a kid a few years older than Dipper and Mabel and that it did so against Ford's wishes. Right now the priority was to find Mabel along with the others and then find a way off this train and get back to Earth to seal the rift.
Time was running out.
"I suppose the only logical step is keep moving up. Perhaps if we can reach the very front of the train, the conductor might know where everyone else is." Ford concluded, facing the door to the next car.
Double D nodded and the pair walked up the bridge leading to the next car. They opened the door and peeked inside.
It was all pitch black and they couldn't hear anything.
Sharing a look, Double D and Ford mentally debated entering this car before sighing and taking a plunge into the unknown.
"AAH!"
Double D and Ford perked up the sound of someone screaming with Double D easily recognizing who it was. "That voice…Kevin?"
The neighborhood jock from the cul-de-sac.
What's he doing here?
Deciding there was no time to wonder such things, Double D activated his Armatae armor and shot off in the direction of the screaming.

BANG-BANG-BANG!
BANG-BANG-BANG!
BANG-BANG-BANG!
Kevin pulled out his wrench and shot at the rock monster chasing him, only to have the bullets bounce off the Grimm's thick skin.
Kevin then spun around and aimed at the cliff above that he had just climbed down. "Eat this!"
BANG-BANG-BANG!
BANG-BANG-BANG!
BANG-BANG-BANG!
Kevin fired at the cliff and caused boulders fall down and hit the rock monsters, halting its pursuit and seemingly buried under a pile of rubble.
Kevin sighed in relief. "I think that got it."
He would come to regret saying that about five seconds later…
When the Grimm Geist gathered the boulders around it and integrated them all into its possessed body.
Making it much bigger than before.
Kevin just stared dumbly up at it for a second. "…And that's why I'm glad Dorky's not here to see."
The monster raised a giant rock fist.
"I would never live it down!" Kevin shouted as he took off again.
SMASH!
CRASH!
BASH!
The monster smashed its way through the canyon as it chased after Kevin who ran even faster than before.
"RUN AWAY MAN!"
BLAST!
Suddenly the monster was hit in the face by some kind of energy blast, destroying the Grimm face and going through the other side. Kevin stopped and turned around in time to see the Grimm's body fall backwards and scattered into the many rock pieces that had been used to form the body.
"Kevin!" An electronic but familiar voice called out from above.
Keven looked up and watched as an armored man with an advanced looking jetpack hover down in front of him, only to recede to reveal…
"Double Dork?!" Kevin gaped, seeing the brains of the Eds standing before him.
"Hello to you as well, Kevin." Double D greeted. "How in the world did you end up here?"
"Me? I should be asking you that." Kevin pointed at the prodigy. "I haven't seen or heard from you in weeks and you pop out like some kind super sci-fi knight from the future?"
"It's a…long story." Double D turned and looked at the rock pile in front of them. "That was a Geist Grimm. I didn't think it was possible for Grimm to get onboard the train, given its location is in pocket dimension. There shouldn't be any here."
"Well, one of them got here and almost flattened me." Keven put his wrench away. "You see the others?"
Double D looked back at him. "Others?"
"Rolf, Jonny and Ed?" Kevin clarified. "I followed them onto the train."
"Why are they here?" Double D asked, surprised by what he was hearing. "The train only allows passengers with deep troubles aboard."
"Oh man," Kevin shook his head. "You haven't been keeping up with what's been happening at home, have ya?"
Double D raised an eyebrow.
Xxx
"I believe this…"
Double D truly couldn't believe what he had been told.
"It's true man." Kevin nodded, him and Double D now sitting several yards away from the dead Grimm. "Sarah, Jimmy and Eddy all went missing. Sarah vanished on Ed after some kind monster in that old empty house, Jimmy was kidnapped by a serial killer and he was at the Hall of Heroes when he got back and Eddy threw a fit before he disappeared into GrimmFall."
Double rubbed his face, trying to process what he had been told. "And Ed? How's he holding up? Please don't say he was put into foster care."
"Nah, Rolf invited him to live in his backyard shed." Kevin shook his head. "He's been quiet, probably because he's worried about his sister and friend. I think he's the reason we ended up here."
"That…Is possible." Double D conceded. "I know he tries to be a good brother no matter badly Sarah treats him so it must be difficult. But really, Jimmy tried to commit murder?"
"That took us all by surprise pal." Kevin shrugged. "And then he escaped without anyone knowing how he did it."
"I hope you don't take offense when I say I am very skeptical about what I've been told, Kevin. I can believe the alien abduction parts of your story, but the idea Jimmy would actually commit murder. I know he tried to frame myself and my two fellows over a wedgie of all things but resorting to murder over something so petty? And what was Eddy's reason for leaving?" Double D wondered aloud. "Was it traumatizing during your confinement on the alien planet?"
"I was pretty much a mindless statue the whole time I was there, but they said it wasn't so bad. They were just locked up in some kind of interdimensional zoo." Kevin shrugged. "And none taken. We've all tried to cope with it in our own way. As for Eddy, who knows what was going inside that tiny head of his."
"If I had known about any of this, I would have rushed home immediately." Double D said and sighed. "Unfortunately I have had my share of difficult experiences as well…and I am in the same situation as Ed, I'm afraid."
"What do you mean? Something happened with your folks?" Kevin asked.
"…The contest was a front by cult worshiping an interdimensional demon and we were tricked into trying to help repair a portal machine that would bring it to Earth and my parents were captured and tortured to death by fanatics." Double D said blankly which was very disturbing.
"…. Okay." Kevin said simply with a blank stare. "And the armor?"
"A weapon created by the portal machine's original inventor to fight demon that's trying to reach Earth." Double D answered. "I was picked as its core unit, a human host if you will, to help it fight against the demon. I came here because a child from that town was brought onboard the train. Have you seen anyone else, a little girl with a pink sweater and a shooting star on it?"
"Just got here, man. You're the first face I've seen." Kevin shook his head. "So how do we get out of here?"
"By bringing our numbers down to zero." Double D held up his number for Keven to see.
Kevin blinked and then looked down at his number.
167
"I can't believe I didn't notice this before." Kevin looked back at Double D. "How does this work?"
"By working through our problems." Double D turned away. "Some are more problematic than others."
Kevin watched as Double D started walking. "I'll bet. You okay?"
"I'm as okay as I can be in this situation, Kevin. Right now, I'm focused on helping to find Mabel and the others along with Ed, Rolf and Jonny. I'll try and work through my problems as we go." Double D answered stoically, not breaking his stride. "And we need to meet up with Ford."
"Who?"
"A scientist who came here with me." Double D simply said. "We'll meet back up with him and then work our way through the cars."
"And then what? How do we work through our problems?" Kevin asked. "We say we have problems?"
"We'll focus on that when we find Ford." Double D brushed off Kevin's question.
Kevin watched as Double D continued walking, knowing that not everything was right with the sock-headed member of the Eds.
The guy just said his own parents had been tortured to death.
That was very messed up.
Kevin had a feeling that things were going to get a lot rougher before they got off this train.
